We've bought 2 trucks from here in a year and it is so worth the 2 1/2 hour drive!! Both sales reps were awesome. We tell everyone about Mac Haik. The atmosphere, alone, is really positive; not stuffy like other dealerships can be.

After walking out of 5 dealerships in the last 1.5 weeks, it was a breath of fresh air to deal with Jim Johnson at Mac Haik Victoria. I came across a 2013 Ford Taurus for an exceptional price and sent an inquiry Sunday afternoon on the ACTUAL selling price as my wife and I have been lied to many times by other dealers who reveal the caveats of the advertised prices (cash, only if mobility/militaryg/grad/5th Saturday of the month [ok the last one was made up...I hope]). Jim replied early Monday morning saying that it was the selling plus ttl.Here is where our story is a tad different: we live almost 150 miles away from the dealership AND in Galveston county which tests for emissions standards (most Texas counties do NOT require emissions testings). So, in order for us to consider buying the vehicle, we needed to have it checked out in our county. After a few calls and emails, we were set to drive to Victoria and test drive the car(I asked Jim to see if there was any smoke smell so he and another salesman did the sniff test to verify there wasn't any smell [probably not the normal thing to ask a salesman to sniff a car but with a 150 miles.to drive....]). By the way, Mac Haik offers a free CarFax on their used cars.We get to the dealership, test drive the car, place a security deposit, provide proper IDs/insurance, and drive the car home. I dinged the dealership one star for one reason only and that is the MechanicTech anti-theft add-on that Mac Haik has on every car they sell (the selling price made it worth it so keep in mind that there will be an small add-on charge) We get the car checked out (it does). and the paperwork done at JSC Credit Union West League City (Annette is absolutely awesome). They offered extended warranty coverage but didn't get pushy about it which means a lot to us.We drive back to the dealership, sign final title papers and we are DONE.So give their website a shot and see what they have to offer. We are most certainly glad we did.

I went to this store looking for a used car. While being shown different vehicles that matched my criteria (price, MPG, etc.) I was shown how I could actually afford a higher priced new car while only spending about $15 a week more on my payments, due to lower loan interest rates on the newer cars. That does come out to $60 a month more for the car payment, but my insurance rate went down (I'm guessing because of new safety features?) so I'm paying less there and with the full manufacturer warranty that comes with the new car, I don't have to worry about unexpected expenses from mechanical/electrical failure. That warranty gives great peace of mind since my wife is the main driver with my daughter as the passenger. While I love the fact that I was able to get a new vehicle, the best part was how easy they made the entire process. I showed them my license, gave them my SSN, proof of income, and other than that, all I had to do was sign paper. I also liked the fact that I didn't get that "what will it take to you put you in a car today?" kind of treatment. They let me browse, showed me options when I asked, and gave me time to make my decision. I'll definitely be coming back when my daughter starts driving in a few years.
