I have known Richard MacKoul as a customer and as a dealer for years, its been a pleasure doing business with him in either category. He gives a fair deal; he bends over backward to help you and to make sure you are happy with the arrangement. I purchased a 2011 Kia Soul from him in December 2013 I got a good deal on both my trade in, and on the Kia itself. Rich repeatedly asks how the car is performing, even though the guarantee has expired. He just wants his customers to be satisfies with the dealerships work and purchases. in 2012 I brought a friends Honda fit to MacKouls for a valve job or replacing the car looked eminent. For a fraction of the valve job cost Mackouls cars cleaned the system, and the car ran better and was able to pass emissions inspection. The friend will get many more miles out of the car, and she is thrilled they were able to find a reasonably priced solution. These people ended up buying another car from MacKouls, while still running the Honda. They were so impressed with the resolution of the Hondas problem that they decided to buy a car from him as well. They were thrilled with the vehicle purchase too. What more can I say? I purchased a Mercedes E350 Diesel and it was the best investment i have made in a long time. Their service is above and beyond all the time. they service their cars with the utmost care. They are a family owned business and it shows in the dedication to their customers. I have bought other cars that i have brought there for errvice, they are always fair and deliver on time and always go above and beyond if something should be done in the future.

In this age of impersonal Mega-Dealerships, Mackouls offers full service, family owned and operated business, that is extremely customer friendly - and responsive to customer needs. Richie helped me get financing despite some of my credit history challenges. Appointments are easy to make, and special arrangements have been made to accommodate emergencies that have come up over the years. Mackouls even answered my calls after business hours and helped address any of my concerns. Its comforting to know that Jesse and his staff will be working on your car, and they know the history. At mackouls they know you and your car. The loaner car is incredibly convenient and makes the whole process so much easier. I give Mackouls my highest Recommendation.

I have known Richard for at least 40 years, initially contacting him when I needed to paint my car. He graciously allowed me to do so in his garage with his equipment giving me pointers along the way. For many years I was too poor to buy vehicles from him relying on junkers. When things looked up a little I again went to him at his current location in grafton and asked for notification for any still usefull trade-ins he comes across. He obliged even though it was not particularly in his best interest and sold me a string of vehicles that lasted with few problems for years. I was even able to sell one for what I paid him for it. Finally I was able to but the type of used cars he was in business to sell. He was somewhat taken aback when I did not need to test drive one car since I knew I could rely on him to sell me what would be fine but it truly was the case. He has been willing to fix any problems that arise with these cars in a caring and concerned manner. I have never seen him advertise instead relying on word of mouth. He is able to do this due to his high business standards that he practices. It is a family business and is leaving a wonderful legacy for his children and an example of husband and wife team working smoothly together to create something special. His wife is in charge of many aspects of the business. I have recommended him to others over the years since he is the antithesis of the stereotype of used car salesman.

I have been a customer of Mackouls Cars in Grafton for about 13 years and it boils down to one reason: Trust. Through every car sale or repair they have been friendly, fair, honest, and dedicates, and that has resulted in my complete trust in their work and service. I have purchased every one of my last 5 cars from them. Most of the time Jesse or Rich has gone to auctions with an idea of what car i wanted and my budget and purchased the car for me. In doing this i don't have a chance to see or drive it, but ive been so pleased with their purchases that I have developed complete trust in their opinion of cars. In fact over the past 13 yearstheyve gotten to know me so well my last car came on their suggestion, not my own. They refuse to buy cars for their customers unless they are in excellent condition and as a result they keep their customers coming back! My trust certainly extends to their service as well. There has not been one instance where i brought my car in and had to bring it back for something continuing to run improperly. However there have been many instances where they have told me my brakes are good for another 10,000 miles or my tires are good for a while longer instead of replacing items unnecessarily as so many other auto service centers do. This honestly is hard to find. Rich and Jesse truly care about their customers and keep us all coming back. So, please give them a chance; it will be the beginning of a long relationship!

Flush transmission fluid, change filters, and inspect for any issues. Jesse at MacKouls did an excellent job. Reported old fluid was quite dark but had no bad odor. Inspection revealed no issues. MacKouls dropped me off at home and picked me up when the car was done.

Mackoul's Cars is one of the best car dealers in New England. We have always had terrific service that is fairly priced and quality workmanship.
