I cannot say enough good about the buying process of my Silverado 1500 at Maguire Chevrolet in Trumansburg! Let me start off by saying I am not always the easiest customer to deal with. I start my shopping process online and try to arrive at the lots educated with current incentives and equipment packages that fit my needs and budget and its pretty hard to steer me otherwise. After stopping at other lots I about gave up on buying now because I was upside down in my current low mileage one year old car with only 15k miles. Nobodys fault but my own. Leasing is not structured to trade the car only halfway through the term. I accepted the fact that I was going to have to absorb a few thousand dollars into the next car OR have two car payments if I proceeded with a truck deal now. Once I finally arrived at Maguire thanks to the attentive but not pushy follow up call from Nick Predmore, I was very happy to pretty much see the exact truck I wanted at the lowest price I had seen yet, right on the window. No numbers games! At this time I thought for sure my trade would be low balled, but to my amazement the sales manager Matt was to the penny of the other dealers and even came up more to try to offset the negative equity. I immediately found Matt to be very transparent about the incentives and interest rates I qualified for. If I had a question someone could not answer they quickly researched the correct answer as opposed to just telling me what I wanted to hear. The payment just kept dropping lower lol! I should also add that Matt sat right down at the table and dealt with me direct. None of the games where the sales person keeps leaving you in the office carrying papers back and forth to his manager. I bought my last car elsewhere because the OWNER of the dealership worked my numbers from across the showroom in plain sight and would not even take a moment to introduce himself or act interested if I bought a car there or not. The math was fine otherwise. Finally once I decided minutes later on this saturday afternoon that this was the truck for me I went ahead and got approved and offered a small cash deposit to hold the truck a few days. I was told this was not needed and truck would be held until Tuesday indefinitely. A few hours later I stopped again after closing and there was even a sold sign on it. That sure made me smile! All said and done I was able to add a few dealer installed accessories to my truck and KEEP my current car. Yes, My TWO car payments only add up to a little more that it would of cost to trade and consolidate into one payment at my local dealer. I knew I had a desirable Honda trade and expected most dealers to encourage trading it. I have acceptable but not perfect credit and it was still easy to get the good rate the same as perfect credit people. I know that's more of a lender thing but it still impressed me. The 4 main segments of this deal were very transparent and treated separate from the start without a lot of work on my end. Price, Trade, Incentives. Rate. Other dealers often pack this all into one and its difficult to see how they arrived at your payments. No matter what your situation I strongly suggest shopping here. I live almost 2 hours away and Nick was prompt and attentive to my questions and concerns via phone so I knew this truck fit my needs before making the drive. Also ALL of the staff I had contact with was very friendly and helpful answering questions even though they had no financial gain from my purchase. I was impressed that at least 3 employees had new silverado's of their own, not demos. Keep in mind car sales is a tough business this day and age and sales people work long hours and often move on. I concluded a great worker morale here and low turnover. This place has a very casual laid back atmosphere of the older small town franchise dealerships that have mostly closed down however you quickly can see the Maguire professionalism every step of the way!

When my husband and sister accompanied me to Maquire's in Trumansburg to look at a used car, a Chevrolet Impala, we weren't sure of buying a car right then, but that changed when we met Nick Predmore, our salesman, who was right there to introduce himself and was ready to show us the car. He was very personable, knowledgeable and respectful. It took the stress out of buying a car. He understood our requirements and worked hard to fill them even though my sister made some difficult inquiries. Before we knew it, we were buying a car, and he said if you want to go to lunch, I will have everything ready for you upon your return and you can take the car home today!!! We went to lunch, came back and all was ready!!! Nick and the staff at Maquires made buying our car an awesome experience. Thank you!!

While I was in for service I happened to wander out onto the lot and was approached by sales consultant Jason Fernandez. He invited me to come inside out of the sun where we could see if Maguire could meet my needs and save me some time and money. In a short time he had explained to me "the Maguire Way" of selling cars which included, among other points, up-front lowest pricing, price guarantee "5Gs and the keys", and non commissioned sales consultants. I was quickly placed at ease and the "car salesman defense walls" began to come down. We decided that a Chevy Cruze would in fact meet my needs. I thanked him for his time and advised that I would return later that afternoon when my husband came home from work. Before we returned, I did attempt to see if I could find a better price online but to no avail. Maguire does in fact have the upfront lowest price. The fact that I (we) didn't have to haggle over a price made the sales process much more relaxed and less stressful. Delivery the next day was going to prove difficult because my mother was in the hospital and scheduling was going to be a task. Jason said "Why don't you go do dinner and come back. We'll have the car ready and the paperwork all set and you can take the car this evening." "You can do that?" "Of course we can!" True to his word, when we came back from dinner all was ready. The paperwork was signed not in a small stuffy office with some finance manager, but at a table in the showroom with Jason himself. I am impressed by Jason's knowledge and efficiency with which he handled this transaction. He turned this car buying experience from a stress-filled "must do" into an enjoyable experience. In addition, I later learned that Jason had called someone from the service department in on his day off to perform the NY inspection so the car could be delivered that night. I think the willingness of that service tech to come in as a favor to the sales department demonstrates the overall commitment of the Maguire Family of Dealerships to customer service and satisfaction. I would recommend Maguire to anyone looking to buy a car. AND I would highly recommend sales consultant Jason C Fernandez; he knows his stuff and he is a pleasure to work with. Ask for him by name! They were great, they let us look at, sit in and drive what ever we wanted with no pressure. They even tracked down the color we wanted when we finally decided on what we wanted. Thanks to Nick and Matt for introducing me to my new vehicle and providing me a professional sales experience. There was no pressure on the sales pitch and the pricing was fair in the purchase. Nick and Matt were both courteous in the sale and I believe they offered me a great deal on the purchase up front. This is my fourth vehicular purchase from the Maguire Family in the Ithaca area. My last vehicle (A 2003 Ford Ranger) yielded over 317,000 miles with minimal upkeep. The service component at Maguire Chevrolet does need some improvement in timely delivery of repairs, but I've ultimately been treated fairly in the past and they have met my needs.

My husband and I had been toying with the notion of purchasing a used vehicle for some time now, as my 12 year old Explorer has been getting up there in miles and running rough. We wanted a small economical car, and decided to look at the Ford Focus. Maguire had a couple 2013's that had just gotten sent to their lot. I decided to go take a test drive and really liked the car. I was able to take the vehicle home for the night and let my husband look at it. We decided to purchase the car. I wanted to trade in my old vehicle for a new one. I took my car in to Matt at Maguire Chevrolet in Trumansburg to see what it was worth as a trade in. I felt that I received more than a fair price. From the moment I walked in the door, they made me feel like I wasn't just another customer, they made me feel like I was family. Nick was amazing. He was the most honest and up front sales rep I have ever met. He did not make me feel rushed or overwhelmed, and didn't make me feel like I was just part of his job. He listened to what I had to say and wanted, and I ended up test driving a 2014 Equinox. It was everything I wanted, and I fell in love with it. Nick did not try to push me into anything, and made me feel like I was in control. When my Honda Civic was totaled with 235k miles on it I didn't know what to do. It was the only car I'd ever driven but went searching for a new car on a budget. I planned on looking for a while till I new I had a good deal. It didn't take long once I went to Maguire in Trumansburg. Nick Predmore was our salesman and he was fantastic! He answered every question we had, was very friendly and positive and wanted to make sure we were happy. Best of all I never felt pressured to make a purchase. We went on a test drive with him and when we were done we felt we still needed a little more time driving it so he said it was completely fine to go on another test drive all over again. He made the buying process very simple and was open to hearing other dealers' offers to make sure Maguire's price was lower. He also took pictures for us to have with the new car - what a nice guy! I've been driving my Chevy Sonic for about a month now and still love it. Nick even called after the purchase to make sure everything was okay and answer any questions. He's still been super kind after the purchase - that's not just a salesman, but superb customer service and a great guy. If you're looking to buy a new or used car I recommend you go to Trumansburg's Maguire even if it's a a bit of a drive and ask for Nick specifically. You'll be so glad you did!

I had decided that I wanted to buy a new Chevrolet pick-up truck. I saw Maguire's ad in the Star-Gazette with prices listed and decided that I would go there first. Made a phone call to get some information about the advertised vehicles. I spoke with Nick who was very helpful and soon returned my call with answers. My husband and I made an appointment and drove a new Chevy pick-up, which was very impressive. Nick took the time to show us other trucks on the lot. Nick was also very mindful of our need to talk alone and not be obtrusive or pushy. I decided on the truck and we went in the showroom. In the showroom was a 2014 Chevy Impala, bright red, and I immediately had two choices. Nick took the time to show us the car and it's features, had another one the same on the lot that we could test drive right then. I decided on the Impala, and in an hour I was driving my new car home. Matt, the manager, was efficient, pleasant and explained everything clearly. He worked non-stop so we could take the car home from the showroom immediately. I received excellent service at Maguire Chevrolet in Trumansburg. I felt I got excellent trade in value for my vehicle and didn't feel like I had "missed" something in the transaction. Maguire advertising is exactly as they say, "no hassle, no haggle", and my salesman didn't have to check with the "big boys" every step of the transaction. I will use Maguire Chevrolet for my next vehicle purchase.

I just purchased a newer used pickup from Maguire Chevrolet. I had a very positive experience on a Saturday afternoon. I felt very comfortable working with Matt and Jason. Matt found the payment that was just right for me. The paperwork anymore is tremendous, but with their knowledge and attitude they made it so easy. I would highly recommend this dealership. I've had dealings with Maguire Chevrolet service on my other vehicles. Their service is excellent and straight forward while being prompt and courteous.

Sarah and both Matt's that we dealt with were excellent. We enjoyed working with them. They got us what we wanted in our price range and we did not have to sit there all day to negotiate. I don't like to mention any names, but we bought a Chevy Aveo because it was pointed out to us as having had no accidents and a clean record; we were looking for an inexpensive car. It was pretty, but it handled funny and I took it to a local body shop after having taken it home. It had had major damage repairs done to the front end and we never were told. A drivers side door, fender, headlights and hood kind of collision. Jason stated it had "no accidents." Great repair; looked good, but the car didn't handle very well and had some issues that could have been attributed to the collision. We located another car in another Maguire dealership, was given a Carfax that did indicate an accident on that second car, but it handled very nicely and I am so far satisfied with it. The second car was taken to Trumansburg, gone over and our original salesman, Jason set up an appointment for when it was going to be nearly dark to pick it up. He was called and notified we were there. He never showed up to rework the deal after he was notified we were sitting at a table waiting for him. We had waited all day to close the deal and had to drive a car I was not familiar with home in the dark. I thought that was pretty cheesy. I would strongly like to thank Sarah Paradiso in the Trumansburg facility for professionally changing the paperwork for the second car and being so helpful. She was great and acted as though she genuinely cared. If I use the Trumansburg facility again I would really insist on working with her. Thanks Sarah. And also Jessica in the Ithaca facility (Chrysler, Dodge, etc.) facility who originally showed me the second car; she was super. I would also consider her as a top pick for to work with for handling her job so nicely and professionally. Overall, I got a good car thanks to Jessica (so far) and everything worked out okay (so far). I keep saying (so far) because it's only been a couple of days with this car, but I feel comfortable with it.

I was very pleased with Maguire Chevrolet and Jason Fernandez and Matt Compton when I purchased my used 2013 Chev Silverado. From my first phone call to Jason when I inquired about a truck they had listed on Car Soup, he was able to suggest a truck that would meet my needs. We set up a time to test drive and consider all the options Maguire had to offer. Only three hours from the time we walked into Maguire's, we were driving away with our new truck. This included the title request, license, insurance, service, inspection, "car facts" and all the paper work was presented and signed in an understandable manner. Jason even removed the bed liner from my trade in so I could have it for the new truck. This was great and fast service and it was the best price of about six other trucks I had looked at.

I did some research on the Maguire website for used vehicles that they had available. I got in touch with Jason Fernandez who was professional and very helpful on the phone. He was sure that he could find a had a vehicle that I was looking for, and that was in my price range. He made an appointment with me right away that worked into my schedule. So started looking around and stopped at maguire chevy in trumansburg had heard great things about the staff up there an there very low low low pricing. Stopped and chatted with Matthew Compton aboutthe trucks and also David Knight gave me so great advice and there other sales person matthew robison. Was able to let me know about a 2010 silverado they were taking in on trade that day. I have always been a die hard ford man but matthew robison showed me all the great features in the truck and i told him lets make a deal and i want it to happen that day. He had me in my 2010 silverado with in about 1-2 hrs great service an great interested rates they got me with great payments would reccomend dave and both matt's anyday and anytime great service and wee able to get me into something i wanted will know were i am buying my next truck or car for the wife Maguire Chevy in trumansburg hands down great service an quickly got me what i wanted no other places were able toget me this great deal as they were good job guys will be back soon for the next purchuse

I went and test drove a Toyota Rav4 the end of May, I liked it but I wasn't sure if I would be satisfied. I went to Mauguire Chev. the end of July and test drove a Chev Equinox and this car drove far better than the Toyota Rav4. It was a very smooth ride,and that sold me. I have always bought chevys and was very satisfied. Mauguire chevy the employees are very friendly and willingly to help you in any way. We contacted salesman Jason Fernandez Monday morning about vehicle we saw online, which was the one we wanted. We met with Jason that afternoon, took a test drive while he prepared the bottom line price quote we requested. We returned, subtracted our down payment and were given an even better rate than we expected on our loan. It took a little over 2 hrs. to leave with our 2013 Equinox, what an easy process. This is the first car I have purchased and the process was so smooth. After I had taken it for a full 24-hour test drive, they held the car for me while I made up my mind and waited on my bank to clear a check for the down payment. Matt Compton and Ron Reid are great guys to deal with. They worked through my indecision and offered practical suggestions when necessary. This is a very friendly environment in a small town where the guys are not greedy salesmen, they are just there to help you out and get you into the car you want and deserve. they even offered to deliver the car to me. After doing my research online I found a couple of vehicles I wanted. I made a trip, completely unannounced to Ford/Nissan dealership on Rt 13. There Ryan answered my questions. It turned out my first choice was just sold. I presented him with my 2nd choice. He was able to locate this vehicle at the Maguire Chevy store in Trumansburg. This was one of the best car purchasing experiences I have ever had. We traveled about 40 miles from our hometown to Trumansburg, NY because of the great internet price for the 2013 Chevy Equinox. Matt Compton and Dave Knight were both very friendly and helpful. It was a very low pressure experience from the first time we walked into the dealership. We had been shopping around for a new truck for several weeks; visiting and contacting several dealerships in the process. None of the other dealers could come close to the deal Matt offered us. They didn't have the exact truck with the options and color that we wanted on their lot (none of the dealers we visited did), but Matt was able to locate one and have it delivered for us to purchase. Dave Knight went over the final paperwork and vehicle delivery with us; he was equally knowledgeable and helpful. Overall it was a great experience and I will visit them FIRST for my next vehicle purchase.

There were plenty of choices of vehicles, In great condition! My dealer Regina DiOrio was very friendly and knowledgeable of the business and the vehicles. They have a great Mission statement, with quality values. The buying process was a little long, but i guess that's to be expected.. I just bought a 2005 Trailblazer from theses guys and it has been a wonderful experience. The sales staff (Dave Knight) was really courteous and Friendly. He explained everything to me in detail and answered any and all questions i had. Even after the sale we have stayed in contact to get some very minor things corrected on the vehicle that generally pop up. The upfront lowest price system, meaning no haggling for a better price, at Maguire is the real deal. It was the lowest price I would ever find for the vehicle, anywhere! I didn't have a trade in or qualify for multiple discounts other dealerships required to even get close to the same price. Going to the dealership on my own, a young woman by myself, is a little scary because I don't want to get cornered into a deal or pressured to commit to something on the spot. Let me be clear - there was no sales pressure. Period. The sales staff works on salary and not commission. I work in sales and I know what that means for how you interact with clients. I hate haggling and enjoyed not having to worry about talking them down. I knew it was a great price from my research on cars.com! My desire to own a VW Beetle started at age 16 when I learned to drive stick shift on my Dad's 1964 'red bug with cream interior'. Well many years have passed since then (did I say MANY years) so the hunt was on to purchase one. We were looking to replace our 15 year old Chevrolet Truck. After researching various makes and brands, we decided to stick with the Chevy brand. My wife and I visited the dealership in Trumansburg today after talking with David Knight (Salesman) on the phone. Within 30 minutes of deciding on the truck type and options we wanted, a truck was located on another lot and started on it's way to us. The team at Maguire's answered all of our questions (even on a *VERY* busy day) and took the time to make sure we had a good handle on all the different options / choices. Dave even went so far as to drive to our home (30 miles, after work) to finish up the paperwork with us so we could take delivery of the truck in the morning! Very impressed, very satisfied, indeed!

This place used to have a dreadful service reputation, but the owners hired a very competent new manager and upgraded the staff, and the service is now very good. The do what they say, they call you if they have questions, and they finish when they say they will.
