I called Manahawkin Dodge in the morning, they answered all my questions and I was told that they had a vehicle that matched my needs. Later the same day I arrived and the truck was waiting my inspection. The new Dodge Ram passed my inspection. I had a trade in vehicle to secure the purchase. Very quickly they were able to evaluate my trade-in and came up with the numbers I needed to complete the deal. They prepped the new truck and I was back on the road on my way home. All of this was completed in about 3 hours. I consider this to be a very efficient and pleasant experience. All of the people at this dealership helped to coordinate this deal.

Needless to say (like many of us out there), my experience at car dealerships has been....sketchy at best. However, I was thoroughly and pleasantly surprised by Manahawkin Chrysler. I dealt directly with Justin in sales, and Adam in finance, and both were extremely professional and it seemed, just as excited as I was. Can't say enough about Justin. He handled everything from the first point of contact. Once I decided on the car I wanted, he kept me in direct contact via text message on the availability on the car and even went as far as to hold it for me as best as he could (this dealership does not take hold deposits, so this was done out of Justin's own willingness). It just felt like everyone was willing to go the extra mile to make my car buying experience an exciting and joyful one. After a number of disappointments at several other dealerships in the area, Manahawkin was simply a breath of fresh air. No wonder their rating is at a stellar 97%. I'll be recommending Manahawkin, and specifically Justin, to everyone of my young (ready to buy a car) friends and family. I hope to bring him some business. And I will certainly be back.

I was honestly dreading going to the dealership because of the notion of pushiness and aggressive sales tactics associated with them. Well my salesman Justin was amazing! Not only was he the exact opposite of pushy but was patient with me and answered all of my questions professionally and throughly. I never felt rushed or forced into something I wasn't comfortable with. Every employee I ran into was friendly and accommodating. I had dropped off my 2008 Charger to have work done to my car. Fred in the Service Department was excellent to deal with, I am in the oil change program now and was knew what I needed done and gave me a great deal on work. Car feels great and rides beautiful, but I do need to go back for another service. Fred gave me the price for work that I need to have done the next time I drop off. I want to personally Thank Fred for all the work he did for me to make things a little easier and better. I am thoroughly enjoying the new Jeep Patriot I purchased at Manahawkin Jeep with the help and assistance of Casey Gelnaw and Blaise Scibetta. No pressure at this dealership. Casey knows the vehicles inside and out, but only the owner can decide on the color they like most and I was very undecided. So they took my preferred "Gray" vs "White" Patriots and parked them in the lot side by side and left me alone to compare, call friends and even send them pics to help make my final decision. Finally I made my choice and Blaise worked with Casey to write me up a great deal! Lesson is that some people need a little more time to decide things when buying a car and these guys showed patience throughout. Oh, yes, I bought the white one.

We worked with Justin for approximately 5 months going back and forth on different vehicles and numbers. Truthfully, we were very picky from the start regarding what we wanted and more importantly, what we wanted to spend. Not once did Justin become annoyed with us or push us off as a "lost cause." He continued to answer questions professionally even if it meant not obtaining a sale on that day.Fast forward to now and we can happily say we have found the vehicle we wanted within our budgetary needs. We would like to thank him for his patience and time and look forward to working with him again years down the road. If you want a no-nonsense no-BS sales agent, Justin is the man to talk to. On Saturday July 30th Casey had helped me with finding a few vehicles to check my comfort. I have a disability and am a large gentleman. I was able to talk with him and was very comfortable, no traditional sales pressure pitches. Unfortunately couldn't get a deal done. We went into Manahawkin Jeep Dodge this morning just looking for a used minivan. We were approached by a salesman, Brian Gardner. He was very professional throughout the entire process, explaining every step of the way. He showed us all vehicles that they had that fit our desire. We chose the Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. He showed us the vehicle and explained all of the features. We were happy with him and we are happy with the minivan that we chose. We would highly recommend Brian as a salesman.

We had an excellent experience buying a used car from Kerri. I first called with a few questions about the vehicle. She got the answers and called me back within minutes. After seeing the vehicle we decided to go through with the buying process. Everything was so smooth when we went in to sign for the car thanks to Adam(finance). We were in and out in less than an hour which is SUPER important when we have 2 small children with us. Adam and Kerri were very friendly and understanding with the kids too. Recently I needed service for my 2103 Dodge ram Truck that required ordering a new part that would take a week or so to arrive. Needing to have my truck fixed and available ASAP to leave for a planned and paid family vacation i was concerned that I could not get my truck repaired. Joe Stecklair and Paul DeSilva put a rush on the part as well as called other dealerships to try and locate the part quickly. Well, my truck was repaired with the new part and ready in time for my trip. Thank you Joe, Paul and the service guys for a great job and exceptional service second to none. I've brought my jeep there for a couple different problems. The first one was having a screw in my tire. The mechanics said that my tire was fine and it was just low on air. I left jeep and went home and it took my brother about 2 minutes to find the screw. I don't even think they actually looked. I've brought it there for my transmission 3 times, that again apparently has nothing wrong with it either. I've had my brother who is a mechanic drive it and he said it's very obvious that the tranny is slipping just by driving it. But nope not jeeps mechanics. They are the worst people I've ever seen. And a sad excuse for a Mechanic

If you are looking to finance, or lease a vehicle this is the place to go! My plan was to visit every dealership on Rt 72 on Memorial Day. Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram was the first one on my list. I was welcomed by a great man, Peter Ronga. His customer service was OUTSTANDING! I explained what I was looking for and knew exactly what would work for my family and I. Again, it was pouring out and with a smile on his face he went over and beyond to ensure that I loved the vehicle! I also dealt with Mr. Blaise who was extremely down to earth and got right down to the nitty gritty. I for one, dislike the playing around the bush. I don't like to waste time, he put it all out there on the table and got me to where I needed to be budget wise and also got me into a brand new Dodge Durango SXT!! They could not find the reason for the air suspension was not working. They had a computer man do stuff and said it's fine when we know it wasn't. Finally after bringing it back 3 x the finance guy went with me for a drive and couldn't understand what the problem was. Then he tinkered with the controls and it was fixed. They even put a new suspension in. But the problem was with the service dept. feeling like they believed us. Woody saved the day and he's not in service dept. Also the receptionist never acknowledges or smiles. Seems always stressed over worked

Brian Gardner was my sales associate and made the process easy and painless. The finance department did not give up on getting me the best deal/loan for my new car . When finalizing the deal the finance manager explained everything and went over every form before signing it. This was a relief due to the fact that my previous buying experience did not go this well. I honestly did not think I would leave with my dream car that day and I did. Brian was also great at giving me a run down of my new car and it's functions and so forth. Would recommend this dealership to anyone.

I don't normally write reviews, however, this dealership get a gold star for accommodation, professionalism and honesty, all of which are hard to find in dealerships these days. Even though the truck was CPO with 4K miles, They made sure the truck I was purchasing was going to be reliable on my long journey home by taking it through a very thorough diagnostic check. Even after finding a small wiring issue in the engine bay, they took the initiative to fix it before I arrived. It was also readily apparent that service department was highly skilled and very knowledgable about the vehicles they worked on, and didn't hesitate to show me the problem that surfaced, and explain the reprocutions if not fixed.

We stopped into Manahawkin Dodge Jeep Ram just to inquire about their trucks and we walked out with a brand new 2016 vehicle! We have been all over NJ and PA looking to buy a different make and model truck and found absolutely nothing. But Manahawkin Dodge Jeep Ram gave us the deal we had been searching for. We knew nothing about Ram trucks but fell in love with the RAM 1500. They also took our trade at an extremely fair price. We were very impressed with their professionalism and everyone in the dealership was courteous. We were pleasantly surprised especially because it was a holiday weekend, late at night and the employees had been putting in very long hours. Rich DelVecchio, our salesperson, had his hands full as the dealership was very busy that day. He more than managed to take great care of us. We were very impressed with his customer service. Rich stayed with us until the very end! He stood in the pouring rain at 9:30 at night, took the time to hook up the blue tooth and explain everything we needed to know about our new vehicle. I went in here an HOUR before close knowing exactly what I wanted to buy, and Ken Calicchio was the one who helped me. I had my three kid with me and I wanted to be beyond fast. I told him that, and we were DONE buying the car in an hour. Including the test drive, the deal, financing, my trade in, etc. They are about an hour from me, I live right near Freehold Dodge and I had SEVERAL horrible experiences there and went here instead, about an hour from my house. My 2002 Jeep Wrangler would not start even after two unsuccessful jumps. Two days before Thanksgiving and I am stuck on LBI. Spoke with Mary Ann who was kind enough to squeeze my Jeep repair into the very hectic schedule. Had the Jeep towed and between the two service advisors Fred Reinhold and Joseph Peters, felt relieved that my Jeep would be repaired and I would be on my way as quickly as possible. Mechanic Bob P. Put in a new battery and starter and the Jeep was good as new! The treatment I received was exceptional and seeing as it was two days prior to Thanksgiving (and the service dept. was extremely busy), I was very grateful that they were able to fit me in and get me on my way. Thank you Manahawkin Jeep for exemplary service. Without your help my Thanksgiving would have been ruined. Mary Ann.....you're the best!

We bought a Jeep Renegade. Our salesperson, Louis Pesapane was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything we needed and helped us to feel at ease buying our new car. He went above and beyond to make our car buying experience smooth and fair and informative with a kind and peasant personal touch. We have bought many cars along the way, and have experienced high pressure and stress and bad attitudes about trying to reach a fair price. Not this time! Even the sales people who weren't helping us were nice and made us feel comfortable. Very fast and smooth transaction. I traded in my Jeep Wrangler for something more practical. The Chrysler 200S caught my eye. Now, I do not have that good of credit so I did not get my hopes up. I asked Steve to run in and see what happens. I was prepared to be denied. Less than an hour later, Steve came up to me with the news and said I was approved with no money down. All I had to do was shake his hand. I got $25,000 trade in value on my jeep and now a lower car payment. The car is excellent. I will do future business with this dealership. Thanks for everything!

My husband and I bought a car from this dealership a little over a month ago. Well, I've been driving around with expired temporary plates for over a week! We have called up the dealership several times to no avail. We were supposed to get them three weeks ago! The first time we called inquiring about the plates they lied to us and told my husband that they were ready. My husband thought about driving to the dealership to get them himself (located over an hour ago from our home). Thank God he didn't drive all the way over there, because when we called them back the next day they told us that the plates would not be ready until at least a few more days. It has been five days and still no news on the plates, not even a phone call. We will call this place tomorrow to see what is the status. It seems to us that once the dealership closed the deal, they didn't feel necessary to be professional anymore. This has been a great disapointing experience for us. I'm glad I waited a little longer to leave a accurate review on this place. Apparently, they make the buying process easy but once you are out the door, they forget what good customer service means.

After seeing an ad, we went to this dealership to look at the advertised 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and 2015 Dodge Durango Limited. Our salesperson, Casey, was a pleasure to deal with. After spending 3 hours in the morning at a dealership in Toms River without being able to negotiate a deal, I drove down to Manahawkin around lunch time and was driving my new Jeep home before dinner. They gave me more than I expected for my trade and showed me various options for my lease; options I didnt even think were possible but they made it work. My daughter leased a 2012 Jeep Compass three years ago and she loved the vehicle so much that when the lease neared completion she only wanted to consider another Jeep Compass. Initially the color she wanted was not on the lot, but John Constantine found the exact vehicle she wanted in Connecticut. She could only be in town for a short time so Mr. Constantine sent a driver to Connecticut to ensure the vehicle arrived on the lot in time for her. She loves the vehicle even more than the first. Yes, theyre in the business to sell cars, profitably, but we never felt as though anyone was attempting to get over on us, or drive a hard bargain. Post-purchase there were several issues which needed resolution and these were handled amicably, and in fact they went above-and-beyond our expectations. Went to Manahawkin Jeep a couple of days ago during yet another winter storm, just to kick some tires and look at their inventory. We liked the new Jeep Cherokee, and Casey Gelnaw showed me a few they had on the lot. Unfortunately, we only wanted white or mango, and the new V-6 with stop-start technology. Well, Casey took me to the secret deep woods Jeep storage facility that I guess they maintain just for picky people like me and found a mango V-6 sitting in a darkened corner. I test drove this Cherokee and liked it, but it had about $5000 worth of options I didn't want to have to pay for. So I made an offer based on the options I knew I wanted, and Casey surprised the heck out of me by putting the deal together. And you know, now that I've had the Cherokee for a couple of days, I really like that all glass roof that I never would have ordered if it wasn't already on the Jeep. So good job Casey, I'm astounded you were able to sell me this vehicle and still make a profit. I'll certainly recommend Manahawkin Jeep to my friends, and I'll be back to replace my Wrangler when that gets a redesign next year. I bought my first Jeep in a little tiny dealership in Virginia 40 years ago, bought another 30 or so of them over the years, and this was the best Jeep buying experiences I've had since then.

Initially went in to look at a Pro Master city and a couple of clean low mileage used trucks and everyone was friendly and accommodating thru out the whole experience. They were patient and worked with me as I test drove both new and used cars till we finally made a great deal on a new leftover Ram 1500 pickup. Never any pressure and they were always trying to make a deal that both the dealership and I could live with all in a very fun pleasant professional manner. If you are looking for a dealership that will work with you to come to a good price, Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, is the place. Personally, I worked with John Constantine in Sales and he couldn't had been better. As a matter of fact, he was GREAT! No pressure or inflated prices, just honest negotiation. He worked with me to arrive at a price point that I had identified as fair for both parties. Before going to Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, my brother-in-law recommended going to a dealership on Route 37 and they were $180 higher than the price John and I agreed too. I also went to my old dealership on Route 22 where I had previously had gotten 4 vehicles over the last 12 years and they were $165 higher.

The service was great. We came in and were welcomed immediately. We were then shown the vehicles that were on the lot. I got to test drive almost immediately. During the financial portion the price was good but they were able to work with us to fit our pre-determined budget. We got a great deal and the promotion they had (Jackets for Jeeps) also assisted in lowering the initial requirement. The people working here are very personable and genuinely helpful. I would strongly recommend this location to my friends and I will definitely come back regarding future purchases.

The worst thing to do is go to a car dealer and haggle about buying a car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was not the case at Manahawkin Chrysler. We came home and could not stop talking about what a pleasant experience it was. The salesman A-Jay Russo could not have been more pleasant or helful. He was very professional and pleasant. I took my daughter's jeep in to have them look at the retractable roof as it was not closing completely. They returned it to use completely broken and not even attached! I was adamant about how critical it was to do something about this roof as she needed to drive back to Florida to return to school. When I went back in and asked what they would do about this - they told me to duct tape it and tried to sell me a new vehicle! They told me that in order to replace the roof it would cost me $3000.00 and take two weeks for the parts to come in!!! I ended up taking the vehicle to Streamline Auto Body in Tuckerton where the very helpful and kind owner kind of shrunk wrapped the roof so that my daughter could get back to school both dry and safe (weather called for rain her entire return trip - and indeed it did rain!) When she got to Florida she took it the Suncoast Chrysler who fixed it within two days for $1500.00!!!!! I would never do business at Manahawkin Chrysler again. They clearly saw how upset I was and still just insisted I buy her a new vehicle - which I informed them was absolutely impossible in our financial situation.Very disheartening.PS Joe in service was very nice, but unacceptable to return this vehicle to us in that condition.

I went to several dealerships but Manahawkin Chrysler bent over backwards to get me the car I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. Lou, my salesman was great. He took the time and went through many mini vans before I found the one for me. I have been to the dealer many times in the past but this time they were great. I would recommend them to everyone.

We had visited Manahawkin Jeep on two previous occasions, and had disasterous results as the past two Sales Advisors never followed up on searching for a new car for us. We like to try to stay in our local area, so we went back - one more time (and expecting the worst again). We were greeted by Mr Massmo Pulvirenti, who thoroughly welcomed us - and also by Mr. Greg Woodington (Sales Manager) who completely apologized for the past results at this dealership. We were treated like true and complete customers; and each of the individuals did everything possible to make the buying experience a pleasant (and even pleasurable experience. The business manager, Mr Adam Klimas was also a very happy, and helpful individual. Each of these, were thoroughly professional, had knowledge of the products, were very informative, helpful and a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate going back to this car dealership. I had visited 3 other Jeep dealership in the past week looking for a Grand Cherokee.None of those dealerships seemed to be true to their words.I met John Constantine via the internet.I asked him about a Grand Cherokee that was located at their dealership.He replied with a price that seem pretty good. I traveled 75 miles from my home.I met John there and I was treated with respect by him and the rest of the staff. With the help of Blaise Scibetta, we were able to come to an agreement very quickly.From there Greg Woodington and Casey Gelnaw took over the final paperwork and in less than two hours ,I was in my new car and on my way home. I purchased a 2-year old car from this dealer on the eve of 2015, and walked away very satisfied.It did take a couple of rounds of negotiation to reach the mutually-agreeable price, but it was done respectfully and without any pressure (that some car shoppers so fear ...). The ad about this vehicle (on cars.com) was very accurate, the carfax report perfect, the staff was pleasant, and the facility was well-maintained. The salesmen that I mentioned below were very friendly and flexible. I spent most of my time with Massimo and Bill. Greg made his own contribution in closing the price gap. Casey Gelnaw, who handled finances, allowed me to choose the most convenient financial package to pay for the car. So, don't be shy, folks, and pay them a visit. You'll walk out as pleased as I am. Ok. Number 2 thing I hate doing most in life is buying a vehicle. 7 months ago I wanted a charger so I came to this dealership. The salesman came out (normally I cringe at this point as a woman alone , "just looking".) I say to myself, here comes the pitch. Lou did none of that. I could tell he genuinely wanted me to be happy and was willing to spend all the time in the world without pressuring or pushing me. I appreciate this. He found me the R/T model we wanted and my husband and I left very happy the next day with our car. We love it. Fast forward to now, I needed an SUV. I came back. Happy to work with Lou again I was waiting for him to finish up with a customer and for my husband to arrive. The other employees kept me more than entertained with conversation. (My husband was late). They have made purchasing a vehicle fun again for my family. I once again have left happy, satisfied and LOVE my grand cherokee. I WILL be back again!!!!!

I am usually uncomfortable going to a car dealership because of how pressuring and fake it is but this was a pretty great experience. AJ was really friendly and upbeat, he was easy going and wasn't anything like the majority of cars salesman. He is professional without a doubt but it was like buying from a friend which made me feel relaxed and at ease. Lou went over and above to find what we were looking for and satisfying our needs in a vehicle. He showed us all the bells and whistles in the vehicle and paired our phone with the bluetooth.Adam also was very helpful in getting us the 3 year extended warrenty. I was at the dealership twice. On both occasions I felt like I was being treated honestly and fairly, which was a change of pace from all the other dealers I was working with. My husband and I had just went through loosing a vehicle, "no one was hurt thank god" We only had so many days to find a new vehicle, and so our adventure started... We had no luck anywhere! We wanted a vehicle to meet our standards, Since I am 35 weeks pregnant and we have two other kids, and just so happen to be in the middle of an addition!!! Ahhh talk about under the PRESSURE... so the last thing we wanted to deal with was a pesky salesperson. Let me just tell you, Our lovely friend Diane, was farrrr from that! Again, under our circumstances, we were only given so much money and time by the "ugg" insurance people...but Diane understood that, she was a breath of fresh air! She was not pushy, very pleasant to talk to, and by far the nicest dealer we have ever dealt with. Believe me we were everywhere!! We were so happy to have found a vehicle in her lot, and as soon as we saw our potential vehicle, we went right to her, knowing that she would be very pleasant and helpful. She did exactly that, and we bought our 2008 jeep grand Cherokee . She really is a great person, and I'm sure she will make you happy. From the moment I walked in I realized this dealership was not the typicalCar dealership. From the salesman I dealt with ( Jon Vitale) to the 2 managers ( Adam and Woody) everyone was very friendly and not pushywhatsoever. Seized engine 15 minutes into our LBI vacation! UUUUGGHGGHH!!! Fortunately, Freddie Reinhold and the service department team saved the day! It is very stressful dealing with this while on vacation and living almost 3 hours away, but Freddie is awesome! We got a brand new engine- all other parts serviced and repaired. Three weeks ago I purchased a 2011 Jeep Liberty with less than 40k miles from what I thought was a reputable dealership. Two weeks into owning this jeep I started having transmission problems with the check engine light coming on. I took it to Manahawkin Chrysler's service center on three separate occasions all within the last ten days and all with the same problem and with them telling me that they could not duplicate the issue, while basically telling me that they are not going to do anything and that the vehicle is fine. how can the vehicle be fine if the check engine light keeps coming on??? I asked to see the general manager where I demanded for my money back because they sold me a lemon. Their response was pretty much laughing in my face & the only course of action was to trade it in for another vehicle if I was unsatisfied. They also told me if I traded it in they would not give me the full amount or close to the amount I paid. Why would I trade out of one unreliable vehicle to another? Unfortunately I have contacted my lawyer and will be taking legal action against this dealership. I did not want it to come to this but sadly this seems to be the only way I might get results. I will never purchase another jeep or any other make of vehicle from this dealer and I advise that no one else does either.

Our 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee starting making strange noises. We brought the Jeep to Manahawkin Chrysler Jeep Service. We worked with Fred in the Service Dept. It turned out the car needed a new transmission, front rotors & brake pads. Fred and his team were extremely easy to work with. The work was done quickly, the pricing was good, and we were able to get a loaner car as well. Since this was a big job, we were kept in the loop the entire time. The car now runs beautifully! We will use this service dept. exclusively for all future issues. Can't recommend them enough. They did great work and were so easy to deal with! Highly recommend!

The starter on my Jeep Commander went out on the last day of my vacation. I had know idea what the problem was and no idea how or when I was going to get my family home. I had to get towed to the dealership from Long Beach Island.Despite being fully booked for the day, they squeezed me into their busy schedule and got me back on the road in less than 3 hours. Furthermore, they were very ethical and gave me a fair price for the repair. I even got a needed oil change.I will forever be grateful for their services and for helping me out if a real bind.

My wife and I walked in not really knowing what to expect and left knowing we made the right choice. We never expected the car shopping experience to be this enjoyable. I had been looking to buy a Jeep Cherokee for quite sometime so went in to just pick up a pamphlet and they were more then happy to assist me with out any pressure. Then when I went back a few days later when I was ready to purchase, the salesman, Lou introduced himself to me. He took the time to show me the different models, took me for a test drive, and was able to match the exact price I needed. The manager came over and introduced himself and made small talk for a few minutes. Very friendly! I then spoke with Adam who was also very personable. I walked on the Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep new car lot, and was greeted by Bruce Feldman. I explained to him that I was "just looking", and didnt need any help. He asked if he could point me in any specific direction, and I told him I wanted to look at Wranglers. He walked me over to them, and told me he would give me a few minutes to look. He came back a few minutes later and asked if I had any questions. I said no. He then asked if I knew the differences between the Wranglers, and proceeded to explain them to me. I asked for a card, and he offered a catalog. He never pushed me to do anything at this point, and I appreciated that. I knew I would buy from him. I called him a few days later, and he even came to work early to help me out. I love my new Wrangler, and appreciate the help with buying my Sahara.

Had a couple of serious problems with my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Freddy in the service department was GREAT. Stayed in touch; took an interest above and beyond. Went to bat for me with my outside warranty company and with Chrysler and got them both to pony up financial assistence with the repairs. He's the best!!!!

I went into manahawkin Chrysler and jeep a few months ago. I leased a jeep compass from Lou. It was such a pleasurable experience, my husband went back a few months later and my husband terminated his old lease and purchased a new jeep. Thanks Lou! It was his laid back nature and low pressure sales that made both of our experiences GREAT! Salt of the earth, that Lou!

The team did a great job from beginning to end. It started with John C. my sales rep. He responded timely to all my requests and was available when I needed. I came and saw the vehicle I wanted, we agreed to the deal. The next day I sent John all my info to process the deal. By the time I got there, Braise was there to greet me and walk me through everything. The paperwork was already for me when I got there. I sat with Adam and was in and out of his office in a matter of minutes. I was off in my new/used truck. Great team to deal with and would definitely buy from again. It was worth the hour drive for a great deal.

Great experience here! Dealt with John Constantine, who was more than helpful throughout the entire process. Found the car I wanted online, emailed for some information, and had all of my questions answered before making the drive down to Manahawkin to give it a test drive. Unlike other dealers who would not stop calling me for weeks at a time (and still won't), John was able to easily answer my questions and let me contemplate the purchase on my own. They aren't pushy at all, which is a really nice thing to be able to experience when shopping for a car. In the end, it was a quick, painless purchase and I would definitely recommend anybody looking for a car to head down to this dealership!

i called ur dealership and bill datz i wanted the jeep that u had..my problem of oweing money on my car was was solved by bill..he took all my info. and called me back at 630 at nite..i missed his call but reached him next morning..he had all facts and fegures..he showed me maney ways i could complete the deal...i came to ur dealership..and he had all paper work started.he let me test drive the jeep and we completed the deal..he is very efficent..he also helped me tranfer my personal items to the jeep..and introduced me to the service manager...i had been trying to buy a jeep in my area for two weeks and was not able to get any of these people to help solve my problem..they did not return my calls and when they did they tended to be vague ..i called bill on wednesday and drove my new jeep home on thursday...i call that excellent service.

Bought a new Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel. Sales experience was the best I've had in years. While the Jeep experienced an emissions system failure the same day I brought it home, the service department and dealership really went out of their way to get me back on the road, even though repair parts for this brand new model were scarce.

These guys ripped off my elderly parents repeatedly -thousands and thousands of dollars for shoddy work and parts that were never needed. Their technicians are incompetent. They just throw parts at a problem and never diagnose the real issue properly -which in the end costs you a lot money, time, and aggravation. When they see elderly people or a woman walk through the door the dollar signs start ringing in their heads because they know they got a sucker on the line and can charge whatever they want. Seriously, avoid bringing your car here for any repairs or maintenance. A really unscrupulous service department that I can't say enough bad things about.

Used Cars - "Buyer Beware" and don't put to much faith into the 3 month 3000 mile limited warranty. Car purchased for my son overheated one month (5 - 600 miles driven) after buying up at college. Thermostat housing was cracked and leaking coolant slowly (Common problem on Fords). Even though attached to Engine, any cooling related items are Not covered under limited Engine/Powertrain warranty. I get that, you have to buy the Adder/Plus/Premium/Super what ever package to have that system covered. Indication are that this car had been leaking coolant before I bought it as I had to refill the Bone dry Coolant Overflow tank when I got the car home from Manahawkin. This is a $700 + repair I had to eat. Made first payment while the car was being towed. Manahawkin's position, you didn't buy the extra warranty, this repair is not covered under the basic warranty, so basically "Sorry Charlie". Well that is certainly their prerogative to play it that way and they did. What would I have expected, split the cost. I must be naive. Insult to injury are the couple of voice messages I have gotten welcoming me to the Manahawkin Family.

This was one of the nicest car buying experiences I have ever had. Bill Datz was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The whole process was smooth and effortless. Also Bill made you feel very at ease, like he was a friend. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms at this dealership.

I rate this dealership and this sales rep as top dollar because of the very friendly atmosphere in the showroom and the absolute lack of pressure to make a sale. Lou Pesapane is the gent who sold us our new Chrysler. Lou was very helpful in explaining all the features of each vehicle we showed interest in. When we advised him of what type of car we wanted and our driving habits he showed us a terrific Town and Country which is perfect for our needs and budget. He never attempted to up the sale to a more elaborate car with features we were not in need of. We are enjoying the Town and Country, we are advising our friends who are interested in a new car after seeing out T&C to visit Manahawkin and talk to Lou.Thank you fro a great buying experience. Being a woman buying a new car can be intimidating--BUT--Bruce and the staff exhibit an aura of tranquility. No hard sell or intimidation. Wow!! What a relief. Been to other car dealerships and felt uneasy and pressured. I pretty much knew what I wanted and the price was right. Ladies for a great buying experience (remember it probably is the second biggest purchase you will make) you will get the VIP treatment from the entire staff. I am a senior citizen and this was the best car buying experience I have had in my entire life.Congratulations to this dealership for making my life easier.

I have been buying cars and trucks from this dealership since 1995. I've owed Ram trucks, Neons, Mini-vans, Chargers and Jeeps. Right now we own 3 cars I bought here. A 2011 Jeep, a 2012 Jeep and my new 2013 Ram. Over the years,i've dealt with mainly three sales people. Lately I have dealt with Bill and have found him to be a great guy. He has always been very friendly to both me and my family. I like that he knows alot about what he is selling. I've always been treated like im a valued customer. I like the pace at this dealership, never feel rushed or like the sales people has to asked the manager for permission to sell me a vehicle. My experience with this dealership overall was great. Friendly, down to earth salesman... Not the typical over the top, over-whelming sales pitches that I've experienced in the past. I have been looking for new vehicle since February because I've been unhappy with my Cadillac CTS. I have been up and down nj dealerships for a car I would really enjoy. I'll was almost about to gave up. So I looked on cars.com for Jeep Wrangler and I saw that Manahawkin Jeep was Selling a used you for 2000 miles. So I met the salesman Lou Pesapane. I never had experienced a salesman who is so nice. He didn't push me trying to force the deal on me. He explianed everything in detail about the Jeep and why it only had 2000 miles on it. Everything went smooth. Now I've been through the process that took days and days to just be approved for a car. I was only there for half hour on my lunch break. Lou told me to go back to work and he will handle everything and give me a call. A half hour later I was approved. The next day, I signed the paperwork and took the car home. I dealt with a few finance managers that were very pushy and I really dislike. Manahawkin Jeep finance manager was really nice and absolutely great to deal with. I never ever purchase a car that went so smoothly, so quick, it was great. I am very happy with the car that I purchased and highly highly recommend Manahawkin Jeep Chrysler and Dodge. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from them again.

From the moment that we entered this dealership, we were treated like family. Lou and the other men at this dealership understand that your time is valuable. We were able to test drive two cars with a car seat on a busy Saturday! Lou took our stroller into the dealership so it would be safe. When we returned, there were numbers ready to go for both vehicles...no hassle, no haggle. We decided on the Patriot and came back on Wednesday. The car was ready, the paperwork was ready ...it was as if we were just going in for a visit. Lou entertained the baby while we went over the particulars of the contract. This was BY FAR the BEST car buying experience we have EVER had!!!!

So I found a nice Sliverado on their website, and emailed them about it.(My family really needed a pick up truck at a low price) Less then ten minutes later AJ called me and we discussed the price and also that it was an as-is vehicle which, I didn't mind (I wasn't going to get a warranty for my kind of price range). The original price was a little out of my range, so I just said what the heck, and emailed. We discussed the price and got it down to the price I wanted. Then, after discovering It still was to much, I contacted AJ and told him the story and he said he will see what he can do. About ten minutes later, AJ contacted me and said that they could do it for that price, whitch I couldn't believe. I told him that i would try to find a ride to get their, and will be their when I can. After finding a ride, I contacted AJ and said that I was on my way. He said that he left the dealership a little while ago, but could be back their within twenty minutes. I really liked how he came back just for us. When we got their, the truck was sitting out front and AJ came outside quickly. He told us everything that he knew was wrong with it (Remember this was an older, higher mileage vehicle that was as-is condition, and I do not know any other dealership that would tell us what was wrong with it). It looked very clean to! No smells, No stains, pretty nice for an older truck. AJ took us on two test drives (Once me, I can't drive yet and my mom, who doesn't like driving big trucks). Sure it had a few problems but it ran great! We bought it that night when we were originally going to wait until the following day for my dad to see. We were never pressured into buying it eather, which I thought was great. AJ kept his promise and we got a great deal on it, and got a great truck. Thanks AJ! I would only recomend that they do something before the dealership, because we missed the entrance, it sneaks up on you. But overall the experience was excellent!

I went to this dealer 18 months ago to buy a truck the salesman was more interested in his lunch than selling me a truck.....he never offered to even show me one. Three days later I bought a 1500 dodge for 47,000 dollars at flemington Dodge. The other day I returned to this dealer with the idea of giving them another chance....Bill my salesman never looked at my truck and gave me a trade in price of 22'$22,000 as a trade in price. I said I wanted a payment of $300.00 a month which I know was low but it was a place to start. He said we were too far apart and basically we could not go forward. There was no counter offer .....end of conversation. That same day I went to Lester Gflenn Dealership in Toms River and dealt with Anthony Rose. They gave me $30,030 for my truck and I drove away in a new Town and country listing for 34,000 for $429.00 a month no money down. I am so pleased with them I cannot say enough. At the same time I cannot believe that manahawkin Dodge two times let me walk. Obviosly I would love to deal locally...the whole thing is sad. Bill Carson
