Terrible! Would never go there again. Dropped my car off for a clunk noise diagnostic and picked it up with the check engine light on with an idling issue. They sent me a $3000 quote to fix the the clunking noise. Later that night noticed a loose bolt so I tightened it and the clunking noise issue was fixed. Paid $55 for a diagnosis that was wrong and a new idling issue. Asked for a refund since my car was not properly diagnosed and a issue was created. The manager instantly started arguing and said "You expect me to just give you 50 dollars". I had to explain to him the difference in asking him to give me money and what a refund for a service is. I could have gone to master muffler down the street or almost any other mechanic for a free diagonoses where they probably would have tightened the loose bolt. Worst experience I have ever had with a repair service.

Bob gets 10 stars! There was absolutely no pressure. Bob spent a lot time locating a car with all the features I wanted. He is so experienced after a while he was able to predict what I wanted and what was not important to me. It could not have been a better experience.Chase was also great. He answered my questions and took the time to explain the service contract. I did not feel rushed. Andrew patiently showed me how to operate my car so I could drive it. I have not purchased a vehicle for 10 years and cars have evolved significantly during that time. The electronic features just make it a pleasure to drive and I was able to take advantage of them from the start thanks to Andrew.As I said this was a very pleasant experience. I did visit other dealerships and looked at MANY different cars. I know I made the right decision to go with Mark Miller & Subaru. I love my new Forester. Thank you!!

He answered all of my questions and only showed me the vehicles I was interested in. This dealership takes the anxiety out of buying a car. I am a customer for life!

The salesman (Mark) was outstanding in answering my questions and providing service when required. The vehicle was ordered and was presented in perfect condition on delivery. The facility is one of the best I have seen in over 40 years of leasing and purchasing vehicles (over 40 cars and trucks). The Finance representative was also top notch and performed his duties in a professional and efficient manner. I could not ask for more from a dealer.

I cannot say enough good things about Mark Miller Subaru Midtown, and the staff that I worked with there, especially Carlos Rios! Everything from the pre-qualification forms online to the final signing of the sale papers was superb and was a completely seamless transaction. In less than two hours from the time my wife and I arrived to the time drove off the lot in our new Impreza everyone we interacted with treated us like we were the most important people in the entire dealership. I highly recommend that if you are in the market for a new car consider Subaru and only go to Mark Miller Subaru!

Anthony Swenson (Product Specialist) and Lance Carmichael (Manager) really went out of their way to help us out. We were first time buyers from a dealership. We were a bit scared of horror stories with dealerships, so we even had a third-party salesperson shopping with us to look out for us. From the beginning to the end, she was thoroughly satisfied and amazed by the integrity and true customer service just as we were. They delivered beyond all our expectations, doing everything they could and more to ensure we had the best deal and experience possible. They were honest and upfront about everything. They don't play games in low-balling trade-ins or pricing high, but instead look out for your interests. They truly embody honor and integrity. They were extremely patient with us. Especially Anthony as he tended to us for hours with all our questions and concerns. Had this been at another dealership, I know we would have walked away upset from not only having our questions unanswered, but also being overly stressed with shady dealings and high-pressure sales. But not at Mark Miller Subaru Midtown. We had a great experience, and they made sure to take care of us. They made the experience smooth, easy, and were on our team although we were not the easiest customers to deal with.A big thank you to them again! We are very happy with our purchase and would not have gotten a better deal or service elsewhere. Whenever we hear someone needs a new car, this will be THE place we will send them to.

I checked dealers on the internet as I live in Ely, NV (250 miles away) and then talked with Alex Kuhn and he made arrangements so I could drive both a 6 and a 4 cylinder car. When I arrived at Mark Miller Alex had the cars ready for me to try. Ended up picking a 4 cylinder Limited Outback. Was in and out in less than two hours and was very pleased with the deal.The next day I even got a call from Alex to see it I had any questions about the car and if I had a safe trip back to Ely.

Ive been a loyal Subaru owner since 2007. When I faced the music that at 224,000 miles my 2 owner, never towed, never had a flat tire 2001 Outback limited wagon, owner was not getting younger I dove into researching newer car.Got to say after 22 days of hard core researching, test driving etc Im the proud owner of a 2013 Forester. Had I known what a great experience Mark Miller Subarus team has put together I would have pulled the trigger long ago.The highlight was meeting/interacting with Shane Killpack. Hes not a super salesman, hes an amazing person. Low key, knowledgeable, not afraid to say yes, let's try that, and he adds to your research. I drove him nuts partially because there were 5 Foresters next to each other, all contenders. Shane is someone you want on your team. Always available, consistent, and he totally understands the current auto market. Im in worldwide sales, and Shane is unique, I only send my best buddies to him. Hes on my A Team, like a trusted doctor. The dealership has undergone obvious changes since they moved to the new location, as they speak with one voice, never hard sell you, value a loyal customer and make buying a new car so easy I cant wait to do it all over again. It's so rare that you find a dealership that when you say I have this issue with my car, they walk out TO the car, and act like an owner, not adversarial. (Tom in service, and the aftermarket desk too)Buy a car, they pick you up the next day, then take the time to personally dial in the Bluetooth, a huge timesaver. All paperwork smoothly flies through. This dealership has experience and they are empowered to use it. They dont push bogus cars with checkered pasts. When I ski Snowbird its fun to walk through the parking lot and count every third car as a Subaru. There is VIP parking up close for loyal owners. There is a reason 80% of those cars are in Idaho, Colorado and Utah. Rock solid value, great driving experience in some of the worst snow conditions, and excellent service backup. When you park 'front row' at Alta it can be three wintergreen 2001 Subies in a row.P.S. I sold the wintergreen Outback to my kids, as I cant bear to see it leave the family. At first they whined DAD! We dont want a car that has been to the Moon! The other day they had some minor car work done, their comment sure feels good to have the Subie back...Their college attendance grades literally depend on never being late. Tuition fees, testing stress and all is good when they know when you have to be there, just start the Subaru.

After visiting a few other dealerships, I can say that I am very impressed with Mark Miller Subaru! I stopped in because I saw a car (Kia Soul) I was looking for while driving by. After looking at the car, Victor came out and showed us more about the car, and let us take a test drive. Victor was really nice, and I did not feel any pressure in the slightest to buy the car. He told me everything that I needed to know, and I could really feel that he was genuine and wanted to help me out. The car was priced very fairly, and was in amazing condition, and extremely clean. Victor took me inside to talk about price and outlined many different options for me. The buying process was very quick and smooth, and I felt very comfortable in the dealership. They even let us get free drinks at their little cafe during the waiting process. John helped me out for the finalization of the purchase. He as well was extremely kind, and genuine. He was interested in me as a person, and very easy to work with. If I need another car any time soon, I will go directly to Mark Miller Subaru to check out their inventory. After this visit, I don't think I would even waste my time anywhere else. I would recommend anyone to go here. Amazing experience! Thanks!

I have used the Mark Miller Subaru service center for a while now. They are knowledgeable, and as I found out recently highly competitive, price wise. More recently still, I bought a new vehicle from them after doing exhaustive in-person and electronic research. They simply beat everyone else's in price and quality of work. This is our third Subaru; we ended up buying all three from the same dealership for similar reasons as I explained.

In the morning my family and I drove 170 miles to another dealership after contacting them the day before and asking them to hold a specific car for us to come look at. Upon arrival the car was not there. Having a very bitter taste in our mouth, we moved on to Mark Miller in midtown where we were greated with great kindness from Steve Page. He provided us with professional service and was able to find us a carr that suited our needs. The car was delivered from the other dealership and looked great. We had our youngest daughter, 2 yrs old, with us and the dealership was very family friendly giving her things to do throughout the buying process. If asked, I would definitley recommend Steve Page and Mark Miller Subaru for any automotive needs in the future.

I wanted to take a moment to compliment three of your employees.Bob Cleveland, Josh Gathercole and Derek Hardy.I purchased a Subaru Legacy approximately two years ago through Mark Miller Midtown and worked with Bob Cleveland for the purchase and Josh Gathercole for the follow up visits for tinting, etc.Bob was a true professional, making sure the paperwork was expedited so that I could make my flight that night while leaving the Legacy there to get tinting and a few other items taken care of.The next day Josh went above and beyond to insure my wife had a great experience as this was going to be her car. When my wife picked up the car Josh made sure all her questions were answered and she was treated with great respect.I had told Bob at that time that I wanted to buy a 2013 Impreza Sport Premium 2.0i hatchback in charcoal grey and that I would be calling him back occasionally. I called him a year ago and asked if there was one in the system and he said no but keep checking.I called Bob last Thursday afternoon and again inquired as to the availability of that very specific car and he said he would check and call me back.Within 45 minutes he had checked on the car, put his hand on it to make sure it was real, and called me back to inform me one had just arrived from Massachusetts two days before and it was on the lot right then.I told him I would be down the next day at 9 am to test drive it.Bob was ready to go at 9am, and within 3 hours all paperwork was done and I was out the door with the car.I returned a few days later to get the window tinting done and had some other items looked at.Bob, Josh Gathercole and Derek Hardy from the service department have been amazing to work with and have gone above and beyond in helping to make both car purchases a pleasant and rewarding experience.Should we need another Subaru, I will be returning to Mark Miller Midtown. This is the fifth Subaru I've bought from Mark Miller since 2004. I've paid cash, financed, and leased and all experiences have been far and beyond any dealer I've ever dealt with. I work for another brand of car and I'm not even treated this well when purchasing one of their vehicles. There is something about how Subaru manages their dealers and buying experience. Unless they change, there will ALWAYS be a Subaru in my garage, and Mark Miller Subaru will always be the dealer I buy them from.

My wife and I recently bought a 2016 Crosstrek and all of the staff we have worked with, from the test drives and choosing the car, to financing and follow up for some initial services we selected as part of our warranty, every single person we've dealt with has been awesome! I had an awful experience in buying my other Subaru from a different dealership, and that has carried on in any dealings I've had with them after the fact as well. I plan to buy all my cars from Mark Miller Subaru from now on.

Three days later, I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, and within two hours I was driving away in my first new car--fourth Subaru, of course. I am new to Subaru and it has been a while since I have bought a car. I have to say, Mark Miller Subaru has completely changed what I think buying a car should feel like. Their staff was all very personable, and helpful. When I brought my car in for some extra perks they were all very nice and accommodating. Staff that I wasn't even dealing with, willingly came over and helped me when it was obvious I was struggling. There were even several people who engaged my little 4 year old in conversation, making her feel like she was a part of what was going on too. Their facilities seem really clean and organized. I am very happy with my experience.

I was needing a car for a new job and after some research decided a forester would be a great vehicle for my growing family. Going in the dealership, I knew virtually the car I was looking for from my research and Steve made it very easy to locate that car. After a quick test drive, Steve was able to present a couple payments with various amounts right at his desk. Once I settled on a comfortable payment, it was on to see Peter Kuhn for finishing the minimal paperwork. After that I was on my way in a brand new forester. I purchased a used pickup truck right before Christmas. I saw it online and I sent an email requesting more information. I expected that I would eventually receive a response or some generalized response that is generated immediately and sent to everybody but I was definitely wrong. I received a personalized email within 15 minutes that answered all of my questions and they provided a copy of the Car Fax. I emailed a few times and always received a quick response. I feel a lot more comfortable with email rather than speaking on the phone, so I was definitely pleased with their willingness to utilize email. I test drove the vehicle and talked a little bit about financing the next day. There was never any pressure from any of the employees that I worked with. I drove 4 trucks that weekend from 3 different dealerships. Hands down I had the best experience with Mark Miller. I ended up buying the truck a few days later. The process was quick and easy. I cannot think of one negative part of the experience, except that I now have to make a car payment, but I can't blame the dealership for that.

I bought a Subaru at another dealer. They made some mistakes. I felt stuck and very unhappy. I called Mark Miller and spoke with Alex K. Alex spent 20 minutes on the phone with me. He coached me on how to resolve the problem. He then called me back a couple of hours later after talking with the finance people at Mark Miller with some additional tips. Alex did all of this without ANY promise that I would be able to buy a car through him at Mark Miller. He truly seemed more interested in helping me get the car I wanted as opposed to the sale. Thanks to his help I was able to negotiate with the other dealer. I wish I had been able to buy at Mark Miller but it wasn't an option. That being said, I would recommend them without question. Alex K was graceful and savvy in the advice he gave and I was able to leave the other dealership happy and with the car I wanted instead of frustrated and feeling like I had been scammed. Thank you Alex!! Mark Miller, thank you for hiring individuals who want to help people first and make the sale second. You are a classy dealership!

I'm a southern girl now living on the Wasatch Front of the Rockies and I needed to prepare for safe winter driving. Subaru was at the top of my list based on their high safety ratings. My brother recently purchased a Subaru Legacy and shared the very pleasant experience he had with Bob Cleveland and Mark Miller Subaru. I was ready to take Subaru for a test drive. I met Bob and immediately was at ease with his calm, sure, knowledgeable, supportive demeanor. No overbearing salesman here. That difference allowed me to focus on the right car purchase for me and a potentially stressful situation became easy. I purchased a brand-new Quartz Blue Forester and drove away calm and confident ~ Thanks, Bob!True Blue and I have encountered a couple of wicked winter storms so far and I am happy to share our successful journey. I love my car because it is ruggedly beautiful, very comfortable to drive and did I mention fun? At the heart of it all, I feel safe driving in winter storms and look forward to exploring the western wilds!

Alex has been especially helpful and accomodating from day One when we had just begun to shop for a new car. His knowledge of features and patience in allowing us to test drive and try out different models helped us to find the perfect fit. Josh, the consierge, in incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He helped me to understand all of the features of my new Subaru and even came to my home to set up my garage door opener. I found a great deal on a 2006 Mercedes Benz ML500 online and started the process of working with Alex. The week prior I had dealt with another dealership who the car to which I thought I had already purchased, so I was already a bit cranky at the Used Car online process. Alex answered my questions online and they have a great way to "hold" the car. Given I live in Wyoming and had a 1.5 hour drive, I certainly didn't want to run into an issues. Alex let me know that he wouldn't be there, but told me Curtis would take care of me once I arrived. Others stepped in to get me keys for a test drive while Curtis wrapped up a phone call. When we started the sales process, it was quick and easy to get the forms done. No pressure on extended warranties or other "add ons". Overall, one of the finest car transactions of my 30 years of buying cars.

I needed a hard to find model and went through USAA's car buying service to purchase. I tried Phoenix, Las Vegas, Reno and Salt Lake City areas as I am in an outlying area. The only dealership that was really on the ball was Mark Miller Subaru. As this was an internet sale, the other dealers either never responded or just to say they did not have the model I needed. Curtis, Alex and Carlos kept in communication and were able to check incoming stock for the model I needed. Carlos picked me up at the airport when I was able to come into town to pick up the vehicle after it arrived. The buying process went quick and Carlos was very thorough familiarizing me with the new vehicle. Simple and painless process, and they went the extra mile that other dealers did not. Having not purchased a new car for over 30 years (usually buy used cars) I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Curtis Holt was incredibly warm, helpful and mindful of what I was looking for. He explained everything about the car, going through the guide page by page, then when we were actually in the car he made sense of it by showing me each item and how it worked. I went in prequalified, and not having had a car for three years could have been talked into anything. Curtis kept me focused on what I liked, I wanted and what I needed. In the end, just because my credit union would give me more, I got a car that had what I really cared about (I don't even like moon roofs) and my payment is comfortable. I dont think I can ever say that about any other car I have purchased since my '79 Mustang.

I drove to the dealership, knowing exactly what type of car that I wanted. However, I didn't know what I could afford. Shane did a great job getting me interested in different cars in case I was unable to be financed for the WRX that I wanted, which is a good thing. I ended up being unable to get financed for the WRX that I originally wanted, however Shane mentioned to me that they had another WRX at the other location that was within my price range. We discussed it, and had somebody drive the car to our location. One look, and I was in love with it. I highly recommend this dealership to all of my family and friends, and will definitely return in a few years for yet another "upgrade".

Everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful. Doug Murdock is a very good salesman, applying no pressure, and great at answering questions. Josh was extremely helpful. Doug answered all my questions when we bought the vehicle, but I recommend having Josh come out to your home after you've had a few days to use the vehicle so he can reinforce what Doug said and go in to a little more depth. I set out to buy my 3rd Subaru from my local dealership until they asked me to COME BACK LATER WITH MY HUSBAND. After trolling the internet for other nearby dealerships, I got a call from Carlos at Mark Miller Subaru. I told him the same criteria I was looking for in a car that I gave the other dealership, specifically leather interior to manage my dog's shedding and Eyesight technology. To my surprise, he suggested I bring my dog to my test drive! Carlos was thorough in explaining all the features of the new Outback and went out of his way to mention a discount we were eligible to receive because my husband is a ski patroller. We traded in my 2003 Outback w/ 130k mi and purchased a car that day in cash. A week later, Josh came to our home (an hour away) to review all the technology and pair our garage doors with the HomeLink system. He even noticed a bolt missing from my garage door & repaired it on the spot sparing me from a potentially tragic event. They don't use pressure tactics at all. We were treated like actual human beings rather than dollar signs. I liked the inventory they had available and found their website very easy to use and navigate. Going in to test drive was a nice easy no hassle experience, and although we didn't find what we were looking for on our initial visit, I was pleased that we weren't bombarded by follow up phone calls or emails afterwards. After researching more cars on their website, we found a car that worked for us, test drive and took it home. Jorge is a great personable salesman and was very attentive to our young son's comfort and needs as it can be a lengthy process getting a new car. They have onsite cafe that offers drinks and food (not just snacks) and a play room for kids. I couldn't have had a better experience. I began by simply marking my interest in a specific model and I was contacted within 5 minutes by Carlos. From the beginning he was attentive to what I was after and stayed focused with me. He didn't try to push other models, or other colors on me. He made sure he understood what features I would or wouldn't do without. I stated up front the minimum I would need for my trade in to make it worth it to me and not only assured me that he could beat that price, he followed through rather than trying to low ball me after we were sitting down to settle things (which is what I dealt with at Southetowne VW twice). From that point on Carlos was great about answering questions and checking in on how I was doing. I never felt he was doing it as part of his job, rather he seemed genuinely invested in my being happy with my purchase. During the process Carlos had a day off, and made sure that Louis was up to date on my situation. I felt completely taken care of. There was no sense of competition over a commission, or lack of interest from Louis because I was "Carlos' customer". Louis helped me track down a specific vehicle at another lot to take a deposit for holding and the next day I was back under Carlos' care, no hassle, no mistakes.

My car runs beautifully and when something needs to be replaced (headlight, filter) they always tell me about it and give me options before the work is done. And the price of these items always amazes me because it seems so inexpensive! (A light for like $4! Nice! I think it was $12 down the street).When I was waiting for the oil change I got free coffee and sat in the cafe and surfed the web.Just wanted to say... a very pleasant experience. And thank you.

Mark Miller was great to deal with in 2011 when we bought my wife an Outback, and I had the same luck the second time around. Alex Kuhn was great to deal with, and kept me in the loop on exactly where I was at in the process. Car had to come up from Vegas, and had a glitch in the delivery, but the team at Midtown pulled an all nighter and had my car ready the next afternoon. After 22 years driving a great Toyota truck, I needed a new vehicle. I still need 4WD and some decent ground clearance, but these days I'm off-road a lot less than I used to be. I thought it would be a RAV4, but after driving 2011-14 models with 4- and 6-cyl configs., I was bored. Three different friends suggested Subaru because they love theirs. Comparing prices and used inventory for Wasatch Front Sub dealerships, I went to Mark Miller Subaru. I was thinking maybe Forester, but the Outback so was fun to drive and has the same clearance and engine. Doug Murdock and Jon Phizacklea both worked with me patiently to find a late-model, low-mile OB. The 2.5i 4-cyl with the CVT is surprisingly quick, and meets the Parley's Canyon test (reaching the top without a struggle). I appreciated their low-key approach to sales, which to me says they know the vehicles can sell themselves. If they got tired of seeing me there all the time while I tested a bunch of cars over a few days, they didn't show it. I ended up with a 2014 OB Premium 2.5i at a good price. OK, fine, but what about the morning after? Early the next week I was back to address some very minor body work, which was part of the deal. Doug had the day off, but Jon set me up with the service department, which seemed happy to do the work right away and even did a little extra. Happy with my choices all the way around.

My wife and I arranged essentially all details of our purchase of a new 2015 Subaru Forester (Limited) via Consumer Reports & the Internet, finalizing the agreement then via phone. We worked with Curtis Holt who was responsive, open, & accessible throughout the process, and then very helpful in completing the actual physical process when we travelled to SLC (from Jackson, WY) to consummate the sale. I was called promptly by Alex when I set up my USAA certified price and Alex located the closest vehicle to the specs I had listed that would show up the car lot the soonest. He immediately figured the difference in price based on the certificate and we were off. I came down the next day to put down my deposit and Jorge was there to pick up for Alex since it was his day off. Jorge got all the paperwork together and finalized the details and boom, everything was set for when the car was scheduled to show up on the lot in 2 weeks. It was perfect because I had met with Jorge a few weeks before and he showed me the new 2015 Outback as we took one for a test drive. Jorge was very knowledgeable about how all the many functions on the car worked. He was calm and smooth as he showed me how they all worked. Right on time 2 weeks later Alex called to tell me that MY CAR had arrived and when I came in to pick up the car Alex was there to finish the deal. He left nothing undone and took the time to make sure everything was right. Then I had the pleasure of working with Alex's father, Peter Kuhn, and he performed masterfully when completing the contract, warranty and other paperwork. He really knows his craft well. Alex is the best sales person I've ever dealt with! He was friendly, genuine, and most importantly NOT PUSHY! He helped me get my 2015 Impreza hatchback sport limited edition. The dealership didn't have that model yet but Alex was great and kept me updated on their inventory. When I got my car today, Alex sat in my carewith me and took the time to go over all the features my car had to offer. If you're thinking of getting a Subaru go see Alex! He is a model for what every car salesman should be- not sleazy, pushy, and impatient to make the next sale. However, I was not impressed with Jerry the Finance Manager. He was pushy, aggressive, and it was off putting. He tried to really sell me the extended warranty and GAP insurance. I did research and consumer reports showed that the extended warranty wasn't always worth it- so I opted not to buy it. He was really offensive and had the audacity to say that it didn't seem like I was comprehending what he was saying! Jerk- I understand perfectly...I just did not want to spend my hard earned money on something I deemed unnecessary.Other than Jerry, the dealership was great. Because of Alex and only Alex did I give this dealership a high rating.

I took my car in for it's service this last Friday to see how they compared to my normal service center and dealership that I bought my car from (Nate Wade Subaru). While NW does what is requested, they do just that, only what is requested. Being that I bought the car from them, I expected a little higher quality, such as my car being washed after service, or even vacuumed. This hadn't been done once since purchase. It is notable that I have bought new cars in the past from various other dealers (out of state), and never took it into the dealer to have it serviced, so this is a first for me.Mark Miller; however, did return my car washed and vacuumed, in addition to completing my service requests. This is what I look for in a dealership and service center- the extra mile. And yes, it may be higher priced service compared to chain service center's; however, I like having the security of knowing that my car's warranty is definitely valid and documented appropriately along with a worry free experience. I will definitely be returning here from now on.

I bought my first Subaru her 4 years ago. I bring back for all the service it needs. People say I am spending more money that needed when I go to the Dealership. I trust these guys and really know they car about my car. They are always honest and have never tried to sell me something I really didn't need to have done or do for my car. I brought a friends Chevy in and new that they would be honest and do quality work. I also appreciate that remember me and we laugh and joke. Tony in the Quick Lube is not only an amazing mechanic but he always explains things so that I can understand without making me feel like I need to take notes and go read my owners manual. In a world of poor customer service he is the reason I and I am sure many others come back to Mark Miller.

I have never been more insulted after bringing my Subaru Legacy to this place for as long as I have had my vehicle. The sales process was fine no complaints there but after returning my vehicle over and over again for the same issue (THAT WAS NEVER FIXED) and was even laughed at that drew the line for me. I respectfully asked what is the cause and they really couldn't tell me why and my vehicle is even under warranty. Here is some advice for the entire service department when you talk about quality and respect of your service review your guidelines line about respecting the customer and finding the reasons of why my vehicle is not functioning properly instead of guessing and clearing out the check codes from my check engine light. In conclusion I went to Nate Wade Subaru and they fixed my problem in one day and never had to come back over and over. DON'T BRING YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE HERE.

We went to Young Subaru in Riverdale and had a horrible experience. Went to Mark Miller, and what a difference. They are amazing! Customer for Life! They took the time to answer all of our questions, financed us immediately, and we were out of there in record time. Our salesman (Curtis) was polite and professional. Not pushy or condescending like the other dealership. Everyone was awesome. I raved about them on Facebook, and had a cheer of other happy customers reply. Mark Miller used to be a Pontiac dealer and I like taking my Pontiacs there even though they are a Subaru dealer now. There is a mechanic there who knows his stuff when it comes to Pontiac issues and he has more than once saved my life with advice and technical help. I took our 2006 Grand Prix in because it was having some serious alarm problems. The Service Manager jumped right in to assist me and made sure that everything I had told them about the problem was attended to. Chris, the mechanic did his usual magic and cleaned up the issues like a champ. Between Kenny and Chris I could not be more impressed. In additionto the great service and nice price, they gave me free lunch when I dropped the car off. What a great reflection of the head guy Randy and his concern for doing the right thing. Friends for life!

The people I worked with were very helpful, NOT pushy when I wanted weeks to think about it, and easy to deal with when making the purchase. I stopped by once to get my license plates and ask some questions about my navigation/stereo/bluetooth system. Josh not only installed the plates and answered my questions, but also washed and vacuumed the car. He made sure I had his contact information if I had any more quesitons. Today I texted him with a question about playing music & audiobooks that are on my phone on the car system, and since he couldn't figure it out over the phone, he DROVE TO MY HOME, sat in the car with me, and had it figured out in under 10 minutes. Who makes house calls, right? I am so happy to be working with this company, and can heartily recommend them to anyone wanting to purchase a Subaru!

I took my car in because the driver side fear window would not roll down. I was told my window tint was the reason why it wouldn't work. Strangely, the other three work just fine and they have the same tint. I took the car to Nate Wade Subaru and they told me that there was an issue with the control button and they are replacing it now. The dishonesty is astounding. I can't believe that they were not willing to take the time to look at it and fix it correctly. It's under warranty so they would get paid either way. I will never take my car there again!

My Overall experience was awesome. I bought a 2010 Subaru impreza. Kurt Moyer was the sales rep that assisted me with the purchase. My experience working with Kurt was great. Kurt was Professional and personable. I was already pre approved through my bank to purchase a vehicle. However due to the negative equity in my current vehicle I was going to need a larger loan. Kurt and the financing department at Mark Miller Subaru worked with me and my bank to help me get the approval I needed for the loan. Everything was hassle free and I was able to get a great interest rate by going through my bank. I gave them all my information up front and they did everything the could to work with me and my situation. I Commend them on there excellent customer service. Kurt Moyer was great to work with in leasing a 2014 Subaru Forester Premium 6MT. When I first visited Mark Miller, I was I the process of selling another vehicle and not ready to buy yet. Knowing this, Kurt took the time to look at several options and answer all my questions. There was never any pressure to do a deal that day. Two weeks later after selling my other vehicle, I now needed a car as soon as possible. Unfortunately the model I was waiting for wasn't going to be available for several more days. I really did not want to pay for a rental car until the new car arrived. Kurt made arrangements to have the same model and color Forester transferred from another dealer. Once the car arrived he took the time to go over the owner's manual, demonstrate the car's controls, pair my cell phone with the car's blue tooth and answer any and all questions I had. I also appreciated Carlos helping answer my questions one day during this process on Kurt's day off. I always had the feeling the Mark Miller team was working to deliver what I needed rather than just trying to make a sale. And they did all this in a friendly way with no pressure or hype. I wish all sales people I deal with were this professional. By the way, I love the Forester.

This was an experience that I completely did not expect given the recommendations from others about Mark Miller Subaru of SLC's sales team.I'll summarize: I am a student starting my PhD at Univ. of Utah and needed a 2013 Subaru Imprezza with a specific package. I had a large down payment ready and all of my research completed ahead of time. I contacted internet manager Kurt Moyer with my wants and needs. They were explained to Mr.Moyer in plain English and I followed up several times to make sure my appointment and vehicle were set up so that I could come down, sign the paperwork, and leave with my new Subaru. The agreement was made to have my specific vehicle ready for pickup. I did not want any run-around nor did I need the hassle that frequently comes with the buying process hence I had everything ready to rock and roll.Or so I thought...I came in ready to meet with Kurt who had my deal structure. Immediately I was passed off to Carlos Rios who had no idea about what I had discussed with Kurt already. There was confusion and a bit of back and forth that I wanted to completely avoid. Mr.Rios was nice and accommodating, but my business was meant to be handled by Kurt, not someone else who was completely oblivious to the deal structure. They even had the wrong vehicle there waiting for me which was not the one I had requested be held. It was a disorganized mess. Then, there was then a bit of a discrepancy with my large down payment. It become rather evident that Mark Miller Subaru wanted me to put less of a down payment. Why? It's all about making more money. However, they were able to FINALLY approve me with the large down payment. Gee, I wonder why that changed. Additionally, Kurt only came out once to say hi to me. What in the name of all that is holy was the purpose of making an APPOINTMENT when it was executed in such a poor manner?My finance associate was Jerry Johnson who was very easy going and seemingly straight forward which I appreciated. He respected what I wanted and didn't want. No complaints there. Carlos hooked me up with all-weather floor mats at employee cost which I thought was really cool of him.So there it is. Mark Miller Subaru of Salt Lake City gave me an OK experience. I'm a little skeptical of returning to them for service or if they'll try to pull a fast one on me with my warranty. I'd strongly suggest they stick to their promises and treat customers in a more professional manner. Some of us know a thing or two.

Experiecnce with Chase was very good in buying my new WRX. He was helpful and informative and kept in contact with me without being overbearing or annyoning. He was eager to help me through the process of finding and eventually ordering my car because we couldn't find one anywhere near the area. Very friendly service when shopping for my car. I decided I liked one that had not been through the shop yet. They assured me they would give it a complete inspection and fix anything wrong with it. When I got the maintenance report back it mentioned leaking head gaskets that were not fixed. I talked to both the sales man and a service tech who assured me that this was normal and would not be a problem in the foreseeable future. 4000 miles (2 months) later my car started driving funny, so I took it into another dealership (I was out of state) who informed me that 1. The transmission had not had regular maintenance and 2. The leaking head gaskets were a severe problem. The bill was over $2000. Luckily I had bought an extended warranty that covered $1500 of it. The repair shop assured me that these problems would have been visible when I had bought the car. tl;dr Mark Miller lied to my face when asked about a $1500 problem with the car I bought.

We bought Subaru Forester 2011 which came with so many problems most of which was fixed by this dealer. They offered us buying back our Forester 2011 and giving us Forester 2014 with the price that was in 2011. We thought that was a good deal so, we exchanged with 2014 limited Forester. So far, we like the color, smoothness and some upgrades in our new Forester. We had to wait almost a month but it feels like buying a great car. The sales & service people are nice and have been very helpful

My family desperately needed to replace our 13 year old SUV. I worked with Lance in Lewis in the sales department to find a car that fit our families lifestyle and budget. They allowed us to test drive a used Tribeca, two used Outbacks, and then finally the car we fell in love with, a Volvo V50 T5 Wagon. We are Subaru owners, so we expected to be purchasing another Subaru, but it just so happened the Volvo was an exceptional deal and really fun to drive. Lance and Lewis teamed up and were available to answer our questions from 9:45am to 10:30pm on their cell phones. They went way above and beyond to get us a deal on the car, and the best deal possible on the financing. This all took some time, and a lot of work. We were always treated with respect, despite having credit issues. This is the third car we have purchased from Mark Miller Subaru Midtown and I would never want to deal with any other car sales people. We have purchased from Josh, Doug, and now Lewis and Lance. Everyone has been a dream to deal with. Kenny in service currently has my 2011 Outback, as it's having some very tricky issue to diagnose, and he has given me a complimentary 2013 Legacy rental until he figures out the exact problem on my car. I feel like they really care about their customers in sales, and service, and understand how frustrating all sorts of car issues can be, from mechanical problems, to the need for a new car. All around I give everyone at the dealership an A+!

I was in to purchase a new company car. The owner of our company and myself were greated by Lanc who listensd to what we were after and showed us our options. We purchased a vehicle and ran into a few issues with the car. I made one phone call and with in ten minutes I recieved a call back from Lance with all the problems taken care of. After many disappointing experiences with several other local car dealerships, it was a pleasure to discover Mark Miller Subaru and, in particular, sales associate Steve Page. We were impressed that we were not "set upon" by aggressive sales people as we drove into their lot. On the contrary, we were greeted warmly and allowed to browse their selection at our own pace. The staff was ready to answer any questions we had. Steve arranged for test drives of two models we had in mind. He listened carefully to what we were looking for and searched the region to find exactly what we wanted. Throughout the entire process, Steve was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. He really did make the new car buying experience a pleasant one. We would not hesitate to purchase another car from Steve or recommend him to friends or family.We are very much enjoying our new 2013 Outback.

Called to have a fuel line recall performed on my 2002 wrx I talked with Kenny who was the rudest service advisor that I have ever talked to! He acted like he could care less about my leaking fuel line problem and that I would have to pay up to $600 in additional repairs to have the recall done, I should have not been liable for any other costs as this was a Subaru recall and if they would have used the correct parts to start off this recall would not have been needed. I asked to talk with the service manager and he was equally as rude! I ended up calling Nate Wade Subaru and there was no mention of any other costs I scheduled with them and had the problem fixed at NO COST to me... I am not sure what Mark Miller Subaru was trying to pull but I would not recommend them to anyone

We were looking for a Subaru Forester, because our previous vehicle had been totaled out by the insurance company. I had done a lot of research on what I wanted and had settled on a Forester. I was looking to buy private because of the extra expense at a dealer. However, when I found a 2010 at Mark Miller Subaru I thought it might work out. We went in and met with Jon -- he was awesome! He actually asked us if he could "win our business today". He was professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with! He didn't bat an eye when I gave him my offer for the car. Then we got handed off to Jerry to go over the financing -- it was the same experience! We are VERY happy with the professional, no-hassle service we received at Mark Miller Subaru. We plan on doing all maintenance right at the dealership!

If someone feels compelled to leave a review for a car salesman, you KNOW they had a positive experience.Our first experience with Lance was in the summer of 2010. My wife was looking for the perfect used Subaru - a few years old, very low mileage, some manufacturer warranty left, and great condition. We had been passively looking for cars for a few weeks, and while we were driving on at this dealership with Lance in the car with us, he got a phone call from another salesman he had spoken to about what we wanted. That salesman had just taken a trade-in that fit our criteria perfectly. We drove back to the dealership and we took the car (just in off a trade, so not even cleaned yet) for a test drive. We loved it, bought it, and they cleaned it / fixed it up for us so we could pick it up later in the week. Lance even took a checklist of things we wanted to have done to it (for example, we wanted him to replace the cigarette lighter covers in the interior and fix a squeaky back seat).Now it's winter 2013, and my old Honda Civic was nearly killing me in the snow every day. We went back to Lance and told him I was looking for a slightly used Forester or Outback. He lined up four sets of keys for us to drive. One by one, we drove all the Subarus he had lined up that fit my criteria. When he was out of keys, he just asked, "So, what do you think?" No high-pressure pitch, no pressure, he just listened to me. I ended up getting a 2012 Forester at considerably less than the blue book value, and again Lance asked if he could do anything to make me even happier. I told him to tint the windows for me, and my new Forester is having the windows tinted right now as I type this - for free.We're young and newly married, and we'll probably go visit Lance anytime we or anyone we know needs a car. It was that good of an experience.

Very pushy financing dept.. Refused to run the numbers when we mentioned we were shopping around.. Finally we lied n said we wouldn't shop around they ran the numbers... The price was right but we wern't done looking so we told them we had to run home and get my trade in and stopped by Murdock Hyundai and need up buying from them.. Murdock was friendly n helpful n not at all pushy n did tons of work to get us a better rate n a warrantee that mark miller didn't even offer

I shopped around at several dealerships and had the best experience with Mark Miller. The staff answered many questions via email (as I do not live very close to a dealer I internet shopped a lot.I drove 3 1/2 hours to go to Mark Miller Because of the email correspondence. The staff was very friendly & helpful when I arrived. Also Kurt was very patient with my questions (I had an unpleasant experience last time I purchased from a Dealer, so I really asked a lot of questions. They did not try to sell me more than I wanted. I felt that they are concerned with good customer relations & not just out for the profit by making a customer happy that customer will return & refer others, So that they will, in the long run, make more profit by keeping customers. Kurt was very thorough with going through all the paperwork, as was the finance person. They were able to price match a lower quote from another dealer. As a nice perk, they offered complimentary food & beverages, (not junk food) which was great after the drive & since I was there for 4 hours total to complete everything needed.

I did a lot of research online and scheduled a test drive through the internet tool. Mark Miller's internet team reached back and confirmed. I appreciated the professionalism. I fell in love with my new 2013 Outback on my test drive. At the conclusion, I was really pleased that there was no pressure to buy right away. I purchased a 2013 Outback last week and had a great experience at Mark Miller! My last car (which I have now given to a family member) was a 2001 Outback purchased at Mark Miller by my mother. I started my research online and actually test drove some 2012 and 2013 Outbacks at another dealership. In the end, I purchased from Mark Miller and did virtually everything online until I signed papers in person at the dealership and drove my new car out of the lot!It was painless, quick, and the service was great! I started with quick response by Kurt and then Lee took over. Lee is thorough and personable. One of the main reasons for picking Mark Miller over the other dealership was the 24 month maintenance agreement ( price on a new 2913 base model was the same, but they did not offer the maintenance agreement).I have already experienced the service department and know it is wonderful - I have dealt with Kenny Lee and he and the other service managers are great to work with. So, I also liked buying from Mark Miller because of past history.As for something to improve upon...it would have been a nice touch if the cargo shade had been included as a gesture of thanks for coming back to a Mark Miller when I had a choice. I paid the $150 for it - a thank you like that delights customers..In any event, kudos to this dealership!

I worked with both Kurt Moyer and Lee Morin in the internet sales department and they were great. They kept in contact with me via email and phone calls, but were never annoying or overly persistent. I appreciated that they did keep in touch. I never felt any pressure and really enjoyed picking out my new XV Crosstrek. I believe they gave me honest advice and dealt fairly with me. I HATE care shopping because I do not like the high pressure sales approach and it seems that is the way care salesman usually work. I had the best experience at Midtown. All the salesman there were so helpful. It told them I did not want to buy that day and they showed me what I wanted to see answered all questions and let me go without pressuring me. I went to several other dealerships that day trying to shop the price. Not only did they have the best price they were so friendly I ended up going back there to buy my car. My husband was equally as impressed and has referred friends to them. Very happy with our experience. Kurt Moyer and Lee Morin were really great.

I came into this dealership looking for the new 2013 Crosstrek and Impreza. I waited ten full minutes with another customer at the front desk before someone came over to ask if we needed help. This was middle of a Tuesday afternoon and not very busy. They told me that it would be weeks before the Crosstrek would be available to test drive. They had one on the lot but told me it was not available to drive - just sitting on the lot for "show". They also told me that no other dealerships had them. I later called Nate Wade and Mark Miller South Towne to find several Crosstreks in stock. I drove the Impreza without a sales person with me (they were truly determined to not take care of any customers that day). I liked the Impreza OK but preferred a bigger car - like the Crosstrek. I asked them to call me when one becomes available, and oddly enough, a different sales person told me that one would be available in couple of days at that dealership. At the end of the visit, I asked about the $25 Starbucks gift card they were giving away for coming in, and I was told that one would be mailed to me. It's been over a month, and I have not received the gift card. Needless to say, they never called me back to follow up with the new Crosstreks... I did get to test drive the Crosstrek at Nate Wade and had a fantastic experience from email to end of visit.

I have never visited a dealership for service where the customer service was this good. Every employee that was within 10 feet of me asked if there was anything they could help me with. The facility was as clean as the Univ. Medical Center. I will make it a point to have routine service done when in SLC at Mark Miller and it will be the first place I go for my new Subaru. I would rate them with Orvis the best in the land for customer service.

I hit a deer on the way to work with my old 2002 Camry, an incident that expedited my need for a new car. I went through TrueCar to look for a new 2012 Subaru Outback, selected my options and sent in my request. Within minutes, Kurt Moyer responded with the vehicle that met my specifications. Other dealers in the area responded in a much more generic fashion. Kurt sent a very thorough out-the-door breakdown on the price, processed my financing, and ordered additional options that I requested. In a couple of days, I took the 300 mile trip to pick up my car from Mark Miller Mid-town. Josh Gathercole showed me my new Suby, impeccably prepared, my additional requested options professionally installed. I have purchased a few new cars in my lifetime, and one request I usually get from the salesman is to give them outstanding reviews across the board to improve the dealerships standing. Josh told me just to be honest and note any problems that occurred because they would like to know what they can improve upon. I have been a lifelong Toyota customer, but after my purchasing experience with my daughters Legacy and my new Outback, Subaru and Mark Miller Mid-town have made the conversion to Subaru complete, and I now know where to buy one. What a wonderful buying experience I have just had! They were really prompt in responding to my emails, and offered great information. Ultimately, the ease of talking to someone at the dealership and having information readily available was what made me buy from them.The actual buying experience was awesome. I'd rather have a root canal on all my teeth than buy a car...seriously. I usually find the car buying process rather painful. But several months ago my mom purchased a car from Steve Page at Mark Miller Subaru. I was with her and I witnessed how easy and painless it was for her to buy a car there. Steve Page is a great salesman. He is honest and up-front about everything. He wasn't the pushy wheeler and dealer type of salesman. He was just nice and helpful. Anyway, a few months later when it was time for me to buy a new car it was a no brainer to buy a car from Steve Page. I like Subarus and think they are great cars that have good value, but I was especially enticed to buy a Subaru because I knew that there was a great dealership to buy from where I wouldn't be ripped off, lied to, or have to negotiate for hours over the price of the car. Anyway, I only dealt with Steve, his manager (can't remember his name) and the finance guy and they were all non-sleazy, non-pushy, and not your typical car salesman types. I can't speak for the rest of the guys at the dealership, but buying my car from Steve Page was a fantastic experience. And saying that any car buying experience was a fantastic one is saying a lot...it was the first positive car buying experience I've ever had. I highly recommend this dealership and especially recommend Steve Page. They'll treat you right.

I just bought a used 2008 Subaru Impreza from Mark Miller Midtown and was very pleased. I started the process online and got quick responses from Josh Gathercole. The test drive and whole process was a blast and it was quick and easy. I had to return a couple of times because I had to pick up some things and I was greeted by either Josh or Kurt Moyer immediately which felt great. I love my new car and feel great knowing I can have all my questions answered with a quick email. Also as a single mom it was hard for me to find time to go to the new owners night and I got the ok to bring my teenagers along which was huge. Jon was very helpful, patient and was able to help me find the right new subaru. He is very knoweldgeable about the new gadgets and upgrades on the car. He took time to show me how to use them. I did not feel pressured to buy a new car and there was no "haggling" over price or trade in. I appreciate not having my time wasted and I did not feel stressed. I have never felt compelled to write a review for anyone until my experience with Mark Miller Subaru Midtown. I was in a bind and needed a car by the end of last weekend. Friday night I ended up staying at another dealership for 4.5 hours debating buying a Honda Accord but in the end the price was too high and I felt too pressured. That night, to avoid the salesmen, I went to every car dealer lot I could find after they closed to look at their inventory before Saturday when I wanted to make the most of my time. I found Mark Miller to have quite a few good options in my price range so I went there first thing in the morning. I worked with Lance Carmicheal and I test drove two used Imprezas. I was totally impressed with the easy, laid back attitude of not only Lance but everyone we spoke to, but I wasn't ready to make a decision yet. I made the mistake of going all over town looking at other cars. I had 3 breakdowns, got in a huge fight with my fiance and was ready to just take the bus everywhere from then on when I decided to go back to Mark Miller. I could not believe what a difference there was. There was NO pressure to buy anything, Lance just wanted to help me find something to meet my needs. He worked with the managers so I didn't have to try to negotiate. There was no need because he did all the work for me, without even asking!! I was so impressed with him that when I was down to two cars I was SO tempted to just ask him straight out which one he was paid more commission for and go with that one just so he would get more money from the sale (I didn't because I knew he was too nice to tell me the truth). In the end, I drove away with a car I never thought was be possible in my price range. I am BEYOND happy with everything from Lance to the car, to the service we received. I have already told everyone I know about Mark Miller and will continue to, so if anyone is ever in the market there is no question who to go to for the best service, best deal and best experience.

This is the third Subaru that I have bought from Mark Miller Subaru (midtown). To say that I have been happy with the dealership is obvious. I didn't just automatically return to Mark Miller to buy. They had to earn it all over again. This time, I was able to hook up with what is possibly the best salesman I have ever dealt with. I do a lot of research on my vehicles and know more than 99% of all the salesmen I meet. Josh is in the 1%, exceeding all the others. I figured that I would have to buy a car off the showroom floor and put up some options that I didn't want. Josh offered to special order exactly the car i wanted and then went ahead and ordered it without asking me to put anything down. The car came in from the factory in less than a month. Price was perfect. I think that Josh and I discussed price for all of about 3 seconds. In other words, his first offer was perfect with no haggling. I am extremely hard on salesmen and Josh's low key, no pressure approach was just what I needed. The combination of a great car, a great dealership, and the best salesman I have ever dealt with, made this a '10' on the rating system.Phil Eslinger

On 3 July I brount my Rendevous in because my "Service Engine Soon" light came on while we were on a trip. As is typical, the light went out the day I brought the car in. Nevertheless, the technicians found the problem, and Mr. McKeeth advised repairs would take about two hours. One hour !! later, he advised me my car ws ready and was being washed. This superb service is typical of the service we have had at Mark Miller, and is one of the main reasons we have bought five cars from this dealer. I know I can trust them when my wife brings a car in, as they have several times advised me I did not yet need an oil change when I brought a car in but told me to come back after the car had been driven another 1,000 miles! Tom, Randy (the supervisor) and the others are courteous, helpful, and concerned with giving us the best possible service.

Having done a ton of homework, I knew exactly what I was willing to pay for a car I had in mind, so I called and spoke with Steve Page at Mark Miller Midtown Subaru in Salt Lake City. I knew that the offer I proposed would allow the dealer to make something on the car, and I would be getting a good deal, too. All I wanted was a yes or no answer and that's what I got. Thankfully, a yes. Some people don't care to do a lot of homework when buying a car, and they probably will pay somewhat more. That's fine for them. But, for me I want the best possible deal with the least amount of hassle. That's what I got. Thanks Steve.

i bought my 2006 LL Bean outback new in July 2006, having shopped and test driven in Miller's dealership in Boise , Idaho. Then Southtown Larry Miller got me the car we wanted and we bought a service program for 60,000 miles, which changes oil, rotated tires and troubleshooting. Luckily the car did well, the record is available to you. It was far to drive from my home, but only they could do the service. I'm not sure if I got my full money's worth. When it terminated, and I got the costly 64,000 checkup out there, I transferred to your location. The Mark Miller ownership then was at both locations. I have liked your closeness, and the drive through to service and on site conveniences of your location have been better for me. My only frustration has been 5-6 episodes on trips when "check engine" and cruise control disabling have occurred. I then get in, pay for diagnostics and then it needs oil and filter changes. It's too often and comes as complete surprise, and the car runs fine, but I can't cruise. I know there are many reasons for this,and I take pride in gaurdian maintainance protection. I love the car and your service, but this costly checkup, warning lite issue is too frequent, disruptive and puzzling, especially too soon after major maintainance. There are two big Subaru dealers in Salt Lake, Mark Miller and Nate Wade. I went to Nate Wade first and received a terrible trade-in offer for my used Audi, was turned down for a loan due to my lack of credit history, and was generally treated like a nuisance the entire time I was at their dealership. I went to Mark Miller and had an extremely friendly customer service rep, Josh Gathercole, help me understand pricing, internet savings, and let me test drive the car I wanted whenever I was in the area. He got me an insanely good deal on my trade-in ($2000 more than Nate Wade had offered) as well. Their loan department worked with me and was able to get me a loan due to my high trade-in. Overall the experience was quick, efficient with e-mail, and stress free. I'll recommend Mark Miller every time.

I did not end up buying a car from Lance but his professionalism and honesty was motivation enough to write this review. I was very close to a purchase but decided the deal was not right at the last minute and backed out. I had put a $500 deposit to hold the vehicle and Lance happily refunded my deposit the very next day. If I decide to buy a Subaru I would definitely try mark miller again and ask for Lance.

Josh and Carla of Mark Miller Subaru's online buyers service were excellent. My wife and I work very different schedules and value our mutual time off. Josh and Carla saved us considerable time by getting us information online and via e-mail. By the time we got to the dealership they already had cars lined up for us to look at, an assessor on site for our trade in, basic price estimates, and a list of available cars in the area. On our second visit, we had our transaction completed, the perfect car for us, and I made it to work on time. We couldn't have asked for more.

I have been a long time Subaru owner. I will only get "Veronica" serviced by professionals. I came in today thinking I would need to make an appt for an oil change. Nope I was wrong. Pulled up, they came out asked what I needed, walked me to the waiting room. Told me I can get a snack or drink while I waited. This new building is awesome! I checked three dealerships before making our purchase of a new Outback. After telling Carla about the lowest price offered from the other two she made a counter that was suitable for me to stop my search. Once at the dealership, Josh took over to do one last showing of the car before purchase. It's not just Subaru quality that brings us back, but the people and service at this location. Without exception, everyone we have dealt with at Mark Miller Subaru Midtown has been helpful, polite, honest, and well-trained. Nate and Kenny are always friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, this dealership has been a great experience and we would highly recommend them.They also have a new fantastic waiting area! Plenty of space, free coffee, hot chocolate,soft drinks, and wifi, a playroom for the kids, and LCD TVs. We had lunch at their cafe (Really a cafe at a car dealership???). It was awesome with plenty of healthy choices.

This is my first time to visit Mark Miller Subaru's new facility site for a regular service. I ask for oil change and if any factory recommended service that my car need. The guy checks the computer and reviews my car's service history, telling me that only oil change is needed this time and a 15k maintenance is due for my next visit. Their customer waiting room is fabulous, complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and drinks, as well as free WiFi, kids activity room and LCD TVs are available. The price is reasonable, and my car is washed, stopped just outside the waiting room. Definitely I will continue to use their service.

Went to purchase used WRX. Looked to be in decent condition, low mileage. Had a mechanic look at the vehicle, came back that it needed quite a bit of work. Dealership acknowledged the work was needed, although they didn't mention it up front. Said they would only do the repairs if that amount was added to the sticker price. They tried to sell me a WRX that needed a new ECM (among other things), and when discovered tried to charge me for it. Unbelievable! What dealership does that!? Will not do business with this dealership and would not recommend. Shady, shady, shady.

I went in to Mark Miller Subaru see about a trade in for my jeep and what I could get for my budget. Dave Turcotte was extremely friendly and helpful. He made me feel comfortable and didnt pressure me into anything, I felt like he gave me all the information that I needed and deserved to know to make my decision. Mary Woodward was great also helping as much as she could and and being friendly and making us feel comfortable. She even went out of her way to help me with an issue I had with the dealership I bought my jeep from. I live in another state and find a car thru cars.com on their website...I called them and gave them all the info that I need to purchase the vehicle...I finance part of the vehicle and sent them over 11 thousand dollars via check...I thought i would receive my car within a week, no so it took about 5 weeks to get my car...1)the loan officer kept sending my the wrong paper for me to sign. That took 2week for the paper owrk to get resolve2)after carefully reviewing the paper work contract I saw she added Life insurance on the loan just in case I passed away or can t pay the loan...I never ask her to add that nor did she informed me she was going to add it...so she had to send another paper work without that on there. I felt that was shaddy.The salesman kept giving me wrong info i questioned if he was a new sales person.I will never do business with them again. if you financing make sure you read it carefully and crunch your own numbers. The only thing I can say nice about Mark Miller Subaru is the operator that answered the phone she was always nice.

I had terrible sales and service experiences with Mark Miller Subaru. I will not work with them again in any capacity whatsoever and I recommend that you don't either. I live in another state and work in an office in Salt Lake City monthly. For convenience I wanted a car to use when I was in town. I was sold a used Outback by Mark Miller Subaru. I paid the price they asked in cash (roughly the NADA retail price) on the assumption that they would stand behind the vehicle. On my second use of the vehicle, after driving it a total of 400 miles, I had a serious break down that required that the car be towed to the dealership on the day I was supposed to leave town. I offered to buy a new car which was met with a dispassionate walk through their lot. Meanwhile, I was notified that the repairs to the used car were estimated at $360. I asked if they would take care of the repairs. I was told I would have to wait three hours to find out, because the sales manager was in a meeting. Frustrated, I took the car to another Subaru dealership up the street which diagnosed the identical problem and quoted me $145 for the repair: less than half the cost of what Mark Miller Subaru quoted! When I told them I was open to buying a new car they quickly laid out the options and rough price ranges. We looked at three cars, I drove one, and bought a new 2009 Outback at a very reasonable price. I was disappointed that I took a major loss on the trade-in price of the used car, but I was happy to have ended my relationship with Mark Miller Subaru.There are many Subaru dealers in northern Utah. If you're considering buying a Subaru, you should think twice before working with Mark Miller Subaru. At least be sure to do your homework and comparison shop so you don't waste your time and money.

Mark Miller Subaru exceeds the definition of 'Excellent Customer Service.' Having dealt with numerous automobile dealerships over the years I have seen it all, from 'high-pressure' salespeople to 'unscrupulous' finance employees. You won't find either of these at Mark Miller Subaru. Without exception, everyone I had dealings with at Mark Miller Subaru were helpful, polite, honest, and well-trained in providing excellent 'customer service.' Carla York, our salesperson, was a delight to work with, even taking nearly 30 minutes to ensure that my wife knew her new car well both inside and out before driving it home. Pete Philbrook, the finance person, was polite, friendly, and not pushy at all when offering the usual extended warranty, service plan, insurance, etc. While I had to work a bit to get the 'best' price here after all was said and done we got our new Legacy for a great price. Overall, this dealership was a great experience and we would highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new or used Subaru.

My Outback's front-end when hit with a rock chip would result in a softball sized paint "fleck" developing, and more than two years after I bought the vehicle the dealership through their service manager wound up repainting my entire front-end. In addition, with just over 30,000 miles the noise that had been emanating from the differential wound up being a faulty transmission and they replaced it for me with no hassle very quickly (it was under warranty for that repair).
