I would never reccomend Martin's even to my worst enemy. They refused to tell me how much any of the cars were and when I finally did decide on a car they conned me into having my grandmother as a "sponsor" which I had specifically asked multiple times if there would be any credit checks on her and they assured me that was not the case. A few days later my nana and I both got the same letter saying we were declined for an auto loan. They had checked her credit. When I called Martin's out on it they claimed they had never said that they wouldn't check her credit.

They do no back their words. Do NOT TRUST them! We were told they will review our offer and call back the next day and will NOT sell it because we inquired about the car first. Next day they called and had already sold the car. Untrustworthy and unfriendly. STAY AWAY!

YesNo12/14/2015 I had been shopping for a used Nissan Murano for about 6 months but everywhere that appeared to have a good deal, actually ended up not being any kind of deal at all; high miles etc. Martin's advertised a beautiful Murano, low miles and a better price than at least a dozen other dealerships. Made an appointment with the owner, Kevin and took the Murano for a long ride. Talk about the most down to earth, non-pushy, professional salesman ever; I felt completely at ease. His finance associate Maureen later presented me with an incredibly fair value for my trade which gave me an even better monthly payment than I expected. This lady does not waste your time at all, she was like lightning with bank approval and before I knew it I had the keys to my new SUV in my hand and was headed back home in only a few hours. Please don't be skeptical of this small dealership, I later learned that Martin's has been in business for 35 years and it's easy to understand why.

I bought my daughters car there a few weeks ago and had a bad experience. I understand that they have a bad reputation and have read several bad reviews but thought I would give them a chance. Right from the start they were your typical Used Car Sales People. I brought my daughter and she said Im glad youre here dad or I would have ran the other way. So after and dog fight over buying a car from them a week later it started stalling when you were driving down the road. It would be fine cold but after it warmed up it would stall. I called Martins and they said there was nothing they could do and to call an auto mechanic. I asked if they were going to cover anything or help us out and they said NO you are on your own Or mechanic said it was a head gasket. He also went on to say if you bought it 6 days ago it was like that when they sold it to you. After allot of fighting we just sucked it up and bought her another car because it would have cost $2000 to fix the lemon from Martins.All I can do is tell other people to stay away from Martins Pre Owned!!!!They will seam nice up front but once they get your money they wont even know who you are!

I came in to look at a car and they had it washed and ready to look at when I showed up. Julie gave me the overview and the ride along, which was smooth and without a hitch. She was very professional and polite. While I only looked at one car in their lot, the rest appeared to be of the same quality as the one I ended up buying, which was top-of-the line for certified pre-owned vehicles. The rest of the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire process and made sure I knew about every option and step that we encountered. I don't buy cars often, but I would definitely consider them again when the time comes, and I also will recommend them to anyone I meet.

I just purchased a new used 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, the moment I saw this vehicle I knew this was the vehicle of my choice. The customer service was fantastic , my purchase deal was done almost immediately and I pick up my Chevy Cruze the next. Thanks Martins pre owned used auto. Desmond.

Ok here's the real deal. If you know how to buy a car and you have half a brian you won't get screwed any where.I probably have the worst credit out there. And they got it done. It is not quick and painless but it gets done.You are not buying a car from a huge dealer, so you won't get a full tank of gas or brand new mats or tires those kinda perks. But eveyone in this dealership is very pleasant and helpful.And they will get you approved.

I would highly recommend Martin's Pre Owned Auto Center! They were very helpful and I absolutely LOVE my car I purchased from them. They worked with me to ensure that my payments worked with my budget. Very knowledgable, professional and personable staff with top-notch cars to choose from.

Stay away from this place! They will lie and deceive you the whole time.the owner Maureen knows the mass laws inside and out and knows exactly how to use them AGAINST you. The two other salesman in there paul and gary are just as bad.They sold me a car that needs over $2000 in work to get running properly.I bought the car for $10,000. They lied to me about what maintenance was done,they lied to me about why the check engine light was on,they lied about the car having a spare tire,they knew there was major engine problems with the car.maMaureen got the car inspected to try and hide the problems.I had major issues with the car the second I pulled it off the lot,problems that were there during the test drive but they hid them by doing shady maintence. Maureen will avoid you and prolong the process for multiple days to purposely get you out of lemon aid law time frames.they kept my car for a week after purchase claiming all sorts of lies like getting it detailed and waiting on o2 sensor parts and what not.they've been playing this game a very long time and play it well.do not even walk on this lot,they go out of their way to hide issues,and avoid you and play nice the whole time until the time restraints set forth by law no longer protect you.I have never been treated so badly.what they do is completely illegal in so many ways but you will be left no proof of it because they'll deny you certain peices of paperwork that could show proof.if you do buy demand receipts for anywork done,and document everything that they say,do not let them keep you from getting it inspected,you must have it insepcted withing7 days. They are all rude and willlaugh at you the second you tell them you know you got played . Make sure you know your laws if you buy from hhere,but I suggest you take my advice and just stay away,do not trust google reviews there all fakes or done by customers while at the dealership,look at all the other websites they all have horrible reviews.just stay away and tell everyone you know to do the same.

Martins Preowned dealership and owner in picture attached, Maureen Foley sold me a car (2011 kia soul), and lied about most things regarding the vehicle. She sold me a car that was recalled and never fixed from 13 months ago and she sold me a car that did not pass inspection due to rotted brake rotors and pad from sitting so long. She took my trade in and sold it the very next day without the title. At first she refused to sign the title too so their would be no record of her ever having that car. She told me she had an extra key for me too, and thought it was funny that the key was actually missing from the port piece. I will be writing a letter that I can and will send to the proper people. It was very heated and I am shocked and stunned that a person would treat another the way she treated myself and my sister. If it wasn't for my brother, it would have been a horrible horrible day. With the police on the phone and then only did she say she would pay for brakes by Kia dealership. She actually wanted "her guy" at speed dee oil to fix my brakes and slap a sticker on. Maureen Foley of Martins Preowned auto shop is a bully. She is a thief and a liar. At 51 yrs old, I have never ever seen anything like it. I am begging people, especially those that aren't sales savvy, to beware of this woman. As far as carfax. I found out she gets "auto check" free and prints just the cover page and says "see, nothing" if she did carfax as I originally requested, she would have to pay the 40$. I had a bad feeling the night of my 12,000$ kia soul purchase and paid for carfax report myself. It was in an accident and she let me drive it at night with recalled brake stop lamps and rotted brake pads and rotors!!.. She is one evil evil woman.Marilynn

I spoke with the owner, Maureen Foley, and gave her some parameters about what I was looking for. She found me the perfect car at the right price! I have a busy schedule and she was kind enough to stay late so I could come after work to sign the paperwork. Usually I find this process very overwhelming but Maureen was prepared. All the paperwork was ready for me to sign when I arrived. She carefully reviewed each documen with me (including the manufacturers warranty as well as an extended warranty )and walked me through the process in no time at all. The office is easy to find and very welcoming. I LOVE my new car and would definitely buy another car in the future and strongly recommend making a trip to Martin's Preowned Auto Center if you're in the market for a car. Maureen and her staff are very knowledgeable and the inventory of cars is great.

WARNING!! STAY AWAY! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE ESPECIALLY MAUREEN FOLEY!! WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!! I honestly do not even understand how these people are still in business! THEY ARE CROOKS! Fortunately for me, my father caught this woman in her deceitful lying crookedness, however she still manages to try to get money from me for a deal that was cancelled do to her trying to scam me out of an extra $5000.00!!! She refused to refund me the money I put down on the vehicle plus the money I gave her to register the car the day we cancelled the deal. Maureen told me that she was not authorized to write out a check, HOWEVER, SHE IS THE ONLY AUTHORIZED PERSON TO ENDORSE THE CHECKS FROM HER BUSINESS (I know this because when I did finally receive my refund, the bank TOLD ME that they had to contact Maureen because SHE WAS THE ONLY AUTHORIZED SIGNED ON THE ACCOUNT)! Since she refused reimbursement, I put a stop payment on the check I had written out to her immediately after she refused me my money. Why should she have my money for services that NEVER took place!? Now, SHE'S trying to sue ME because of the fee that she incurred from her bank due to my stop payment on funds she should never receive because I never bought the car, AND Maureen is also trying to sue me for the court fees when she's the one who brought me to court!! There is A LOT more to this story and it consist of Maureen lying and lying and lying through the whole thing. There are NO WORDS that can explain my frustrations with this woman and her business and the way she even does business! So please I am just trying to warn everyone! STAY AWAY FROM MARTIN'S PRE-OWNED/SUNLIGHT AUTO SALES! She only cares about herself and scamming you out of everything you have! Her cars ARE NOT certified. Everything that comes out of her mouth is a LIE! She'll tell you that your car loan is for x amount and then you'll find out that the amount of the loan changes NUMEROUS times and it just keeps getting higher and higher in the amount! She will try to sell you things that ARE NOT required, but she'll tell you that they are. She is just horrible human being. Again, I can go on forever about all of the crookedness this woman put me through. I CAN NOT warn everyone enough. DO NOT EVEN STEP FOOT ON THIS PROPERTY! She is rude and nasty and will take advantage of you! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

DO NOT TRUST THE GOOGLE REVIEWS. They forced me to write a Google review from their own computer the day I bought a vehicle and coincidentally the only website where they received positive reviews is on Google. DO NOT BUY HERE. I wish I had done more research on them before I made an impulsive decision. They are very deceitful in their wording and never gave me straight forward answers on anything but instead avoided the topic and moved forward in whatever they were trying to accomplish, which was never to my benefit. I was sold a vehicle with multiple problems and after several attempts to repair them I was refused a refund. I will spread the word to everyone I can to never even consider buying from these people. They're criminals. I want to see businesses like this get shut down but unfortunately they just continue to thrive by scamming people like me. Be wise, you've been warned

I found this dealership to be very desceptive , misleading , and fraudulent !!! Maureen will not answer questions with a yes or no . She would rather use omitting type tactics so she can not be held to anything . I also found that she was adding fees ( that were fradualant ) to the agreement to jack the price of the vehicle and were not a real entitiy. She tries to sell you a warranty and gap insurance that she pockets the money for and will show you a bogus kelley blue book value for a car that has more options than the one your purchasing from her . I could get into so much more ...... PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD !!! STAY AWAY !!! I figured out what she was doing before it was to late ...... alot of others were not so fortunate . " YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED"!!!!!!!

Lies, Lies and more Lies!!!!!! Certified vehicles, Lie!! Advertised one price, snuck in an extra 7 thousand. Advertised one owner, Lie. Asked who certifies there cars, lies. Asked who wrote there adds, lies. Sent me on the road with possible serious life threatening issues. Sent off with no registration and many mechanical issues that would'nt pass an inspection. Promisses, promisses not one ever kebt. There dealers lisence should be revoked immediatly before any more unsafe cars are put on the street. My advise to everyone looking to buy a used vehicle. First and foremost stay away from Martin's or you will regret you ever did!!!! She uses Mass law to cheat anything she can out of the consumer. Best not to even buy in Mass. The used car laws really suck bad for the consumer and gives the dealership many loop holes to screw you over and get away with it. The Law doesn't seem to care one bit about the fraud being commited.Once the car is off Martins lot, you will be evaded, lied and cheated. Warranty does not cover anything, Maureen will gladly tell you that after a week or so of trying to contact her. Her bussiness is all about stall tatics, to get her out of doing anything for you in the time limits of Mass law. She also is in kahoots with Mclaughlin Chevrolet, so make sure you read every last document and know exactly who you are realy buying the car from. I have been majorly scammed between Martins and Mclaughlins Chevrolet!

1st impressions was WOW its a nice well kept dealership, couldnt be more wrong. As we got talking an everything something didnt feel right, i was in the market for a 07 jeep grand cherokee on the phone i was told "yes of course we can get you the right payments" i told them 250 month no higher. Days later we go there to purchase it an as were signing papers she never disclosed the monthly price to me before signing. Luckily enough my fiance asked her an she said oh its 358 month. She tried to scam us on the spot, worst car dealership around i'd rather be eaten alive by sharks then ever do bussiness with them again. As well as after i purchased a jeep i called back for my pay checks an she lied again, i really was disapointed with this out of 10 starts they get 0. suck place,sucky customer service,sucky people.

Worst dealer I have ever encountered. I have never met anyone so unprofessional in my life. Screwed me over on the car, sold me a headache, did not let me give the car back within the week of purchase, overcharged me and never told me it was a rental. I had to get a 9 point check from a different dealership because her dinky 3 point check left a broken windshield wiper. I later found out she used my own money to fix these problems which I would have never known if I never contacted the extended warranty company. She was never in the office and never returned phone calls. This place is a joke and wish everyone would just turn around and not give her the business. She scammed me and probably everyone else. She was the perfect dealer when I was looking at the car, but now she is anything but. I traded in the piece of junk not even a year later. Thanks for nothing Martins Pre-owned Auto!
