I bought my 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee about a month ago. It failed inspection so I called Dave and he said to bring it in. He fixed the problem while i was at work so it didnt inconvenience me at all. When I dropped it off for the repair I was greeted by the mechanic who was very respectful and quick to help. Dave is a man of his word! I love my Jeep and I would highly recommend him to anyone

I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee about a month ago. I dealt with two people - Dave and Tim. The dealership has a great selection of Jeeps and other four wheel drive vehicles. My Jeep had some problems that my own mechanic found, and failed inspection. By law, Dave (owner/operator) was only required to fix the causes of the failed inspection, but he fixed even more--everything on my mechanic's list. He truly showed care for my experience, wanting me to be happy with my purchase. He understood that my Jeep was one of the largest purchases of my life and did his best to make sure that it was a good experience. To be honest, I took my Jeep back to my mechanic after the dealership had worked on it, and my mechanic was impressed with their work and commitment to customer service excellence. Dave wasted no time in helping me. I would recommend this dealership...if you purchase and have any issues, call Dave, and he will take care of you just as he has taken care of me. Thank you.

My family and i travelled about an hr, about 50miles. We stopped in to see a silver/grey 2002 Envoy with 120,000 miles that was posted online. I call several days in advance and spoke to a kind and eager man by the name of Ryan. We talked several times and he seemed nice. When we last spoke(the day of our visit) he said that he needed to step out and to call Dave (his dad or something) and that he would be meeting with me. When we arrived this older guy came out with a not too pleased look on his face and addressed my mother with "...so you're the people from Springfield...?". He then had no idea what vehicle I was there to see and when I told him that it was a silver/grey Envoy (which they had 3 that fit the description and supposedly several more on another lot) I told him I couldn't remember the spec but it was posted for around $4000.00 and had about 120,000 miles and that I thought it was a 02-04. To which he rudely and in quite the condescending manner replied "..which one?...you didn't bring it(I'm guessing a copy) with you?...(pointing at a silver/grey Envoy) this one's silver right?..." He didn't know any of the information about the vehicles. Mileage? "I dunno it in a file." Does it have the 3rd row seat? "You don't know? You didn't look?" He didn't even tell us the doors were unlocked or anything so that we could look. And then he just stood there looking confused and pissed and all put out. Then he trudged back to the office. I guress to look for the "file" but by then i was so offended and getting pissed that i told my family to get back in the car. Just the tone of his voice and the attitude he was putting out was completely off putting and unprofessional. It was like he was trying to make me feel stupid and like he was wasting his time, and he had better things to do. Like he was too good for my business. As we were leaving he came tapping on the window saying "well when you come back have a print out or the specs or something...". I told him we would not be coming back. I can't believe that he's a representative of the dealership. I worked hard to save what little money i have left over after paying bills and everything else, and I 'm sure as xxxx not going to spend it at a place where they treat my like crap. With this brief encounter I find DAVE totally deficient in people skills and personality. I would not and will not recommend this dealership. Sorry Ryan you seemed like a good guy but I won't be back.

I recently bought a jeep for my son at another dealership and had to fight for them to do the basics, what they were responsible for. Unfortunately, he was in an accident and we needed to search again. I dreaded having to go out there and fight for a car and worry if I was getting a good car for what I paid. We found a jeep at this dealership and I'm so glad. It's been a great experience! My son loves his jeep. He did have a couple of issues when we brought it home so I called the dealer. I talked to Dave and he said to bring it on in, he will fix it. He knew exactly what it was just by the description over the phone. I didn't have to fight for anything here, it was a nice change. He wants you to drive away happy with a safe, good running vehicle. He really wants his customers to have a good experience and be happy with their purchase. I've recommended this dealer to several of my family members and friends. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone taking the time to read my review.

I recently bought a car for my daughter and i did let dave know that it was very important to me that she had a good experience with her first car from a dealership . I Picked up a 2007 Toyota Camry and after driving it for a day we noticed a couple small issues and one big one . Called Dave and he asked me to make a list and bring it in at anytime . He had the car for a couple days and when i got it back it was 100% fixed and done 100% correct . I get that some mechanics will half ass things just to get rid of you but that didn't happen here . I had mixed feelings on how this fix was going to end up and i am VERY pleased that they did a great job. I would and will go back for another car soon . I would like to thank you Dave and Crew for helping me teach my daughter there are good people in some businesses and will honor what they say from the beginning . I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Dave about 6 months ago. About 65 days after I bought the vehicle it needed brakes. Dave fixed the brakes free of charge even though he could of charged me. I strongly recommend this dealership to anyone needing a vehicle that will not break the bank. Thank you.

Back in 1996 I bought a BMW FOR $3600 and it had 112,000 miles on it......it lasted so long that my daughter drove it to college in 2002 at ASU in Arizona and she drove it to Spring. Break in MEXICO (unbeknownst to me of course) and in 2004 it needed transmission work so she ended up trading it in to Dave with 260,000 miles for small $$$ and bought an Audi sedan. After college she brought the Audi to Texas where it drove her to and from Graduate Scool until in 2007 a guy had a tire blow out on the 610 loop and came careening into her lane. The car took the worst of it and no one in the car was even scratched. Heavy well-built car.I loved both those cars. I've never used Dave's mechanics. Any maintenance and needed repairs were done by my own mechanic. These are high mileage cars to begin with...but if you like the strength and comfort of a high priced car and at a price you can pay, then you have to realize that there will be scheduled maintenance. Such as, at a certain mileage you may have to have belts, hoses, etc done to the car. There's a local shop in Spencer that specializes in foreign cars that I would use when I lived up there.If you look at the make, model and year of the car and check out the scheduled maintenance you'll know what the car will need at what mileage mark....Believe me, if you're buying a car that is solid, and comfortable, for a price 1/10th of what those cars normally go for....then you have to be prepared for the inevitable upkeep....Other than those two cars I bought a Saab from Dave.....had that car for years and loved it!!! It looked like a sports car but the hatch back provided room for my music equipment for when I play out. Now I live over an hour from MassAuto and I've recently bought a car on car payments and you can hear the road noise while driving, it's manual air temp (no climate control) and it feels lighter especially on windy days when I am pushed around by the gusts of wind.....I live on the water ha ah aha. And the sound system is run of the mill eh, so so hard to tell with all the road noise. So, get less of a car for more of a price and have Joe Big Time Dealer who tells you that with the bumper to bumper coverage we we sold you for $1,000 doesn't cover (that)......which they've done to me and also with tire protection which when you need a tire they say "it looks like you punctured it via a road hazard and not normal wear and tear? No tire replacement for you!"-or-Get down and dirty, research the car you're buying from MassAuto.....find out what the costs would be to own that car and find a good local mechanic that deals with that type of car and be happy that you're in a well built, comfortable car, for an extremely low price, and just be aware that these cars, like all cars, need to be cared for.....When the current car I have now needs replacing, I've decided.....ll I had better overall performance from MassAutos cars. I miss my climate controlled, leather seats, Bose stereo, sun roof, road hugging, built like a tank, quiet inside ride .......BL Harvey-Reed

I dealt with the owner named xxxxxxx, I mean Dave. He acted professional and like he cared and as if he was a good dealer. But when it came down to the repairs he was obligated to fix, he drew it out as close to the warranty limit, jerry-rigged the repairs, got me an inspection sticker illegally from his friend, and now in order to get new inspection sticker I have to pay to have my e-break fixed. He is a professional cheater/conniver. Be aware and find someplace real with honest people. Also he will raise his voice to you without hesitation. He is your stereotypical terrible lying car dealer. If you want to experience what everybody jokes about with these guys, come visit this xxx even if you dont plan on buying a vehicle.

I just bought a 2002 volkeswagen passat It was cool getting my car so quick found out the car had some problems dave was quick to fix them for me even after my warrentee had expired for free even had my car back the same day with all but one problem fixed because the part is on order gonna go sometime this week to get that fixed dave is a little rough around the edges but other wise he is a man of his word and i respect that thank you dave

I purchased a 2002 Volkswagen for my daughter. We tried a couple but changed our mind and decided upon another. Dave was agreeable to lessen the price and agreed also to fix the items I noted and handed to him. He informed me of his warranty and repair policy. I am confident that we purchased a good vehicle and that Dave will live up to his word if anything goes wrong.

First talked to Dave on the phone. He was willing to negotiate price and was very nice. However he lied about the details of the truck. Said the body had absolutely NO rust on it. There was rust on all fenders and the bottom of the doors (which was terribly patched and the paint didn't match). The windshield was cracked and the tires where bald. He told me over the phone it needed nothing and this is why I drove a good distance to see the truck. Obviously I was disappointed when I got there.Dave was rude and sarcastic right off the bat. After I drove the truck he asked me what I thought. While telling him what I thought and what my concerns were he continually interrupted me and minimized whatever I was saying. He then told me to "spit it out" as I was trying to say something to him. The mechanics were working with the garage doors open, ogling my wife as we looked over the truck in the dealer parking lot.

I was under some time pressure to get a car, Dave suggested I test drive until I found one I liked. About 7 drives (the entire morning) later, I added a repair list based on the test drive to the car I liked best. Dave lowered the price and made repairs as agreed, some over time days later. Staff were helpful - I suspect some of the sour grapes reports might result from not being flexible. These are used cars, of unknown total status, and it takes time and some money to work through issues. I found Dave very reasonable. I rated the price as "good" not "great" because it was more than the KBB minimum and I always want the lowest price. But with the free/included repairs, maybe it all worked out the same.

I bought a 2001 Subaru Outback in January from Dave. The car has performed very well and i got it for a fair price. I called him last week because i thought i heard a noise coming from under the hood. He had me drop it off to be looked at. He had one of his employees drop me off at work while he fixed it.. and when i got out of work the car was done and dropped off back at my job. He said since the car only needed a belt replaced that he fixed it for free even though i was out of the state warranty. I recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a used car under 10k. Thanks again Dave!

I was looking for a car for my husband. I found one here and put a deposit and came back the next day with him to purchase it. We did. We got it home to discover numerous issues with the vehicle so we brought it back. The owner (Dave, at least I think he's the owner) was extremely rude and told us he had already taken money off the price for us and he shouldn't have to fix anything else. We insisted, so he did. Over a week later with a million excuses on what the hold up was, we went there to either get the car or get our money back. Our car was parked in the back lot of the dealership. It was ready, but he didn't bother to let us know. When we took it home there were still a few problems, but he refused to fix them. He was horribly rude, especially to my husband. When my husband told him we would get our money back if things weren't fixed, as we were leaving, Dave told him to "Cry about it". Luckily, my husband didn't hear that! All I can say is DO NOT GO HERE FOR A CAR! EVER!

I stopped in (with my young son) to check out a couple used mini vans for purchase. The owner was nearly offenseive in his interactions with me in front of my son. He was rude when I suggested I bring my signifcant other in to check out the vehicle, as if I was wasting his time. Can't really understand how this dealer is still in operation - seems a little shady, in my opinion!

These people are the BIGGEST HYPOCRITES EVER!!!! Of course, car dealers are going to to be (or pretend to be) nice guys when they are looking to score a sale. But, they don't have to be JERKS after the sale. I purchased a vehicle from there, and I was encouraged to NOT inspect the vehicle, since it had an inspection sticker that had not yet expired (I knew this was illegal). The key to my vehicle was not programmed and they asked me to take the key to the dealership and get it programmed and they would reimburse me. I did, and when I called back, I identified myself and David said "What do you want!?"....in the most rude way I have EVER been spoken to. He said that I had already paid for the vehicle and that was MY problem. (Of course this was not in writing, I had taken his word it).But, that's not even the worse part. I was sold the biggest piece of shit car that I could ever buy. The car looked nice, seemed to drive nice, but, within a couple of months it started having problems......I mean BIG PROBLEMS. The kind of problem that would cause me to spend more on the repair than the six thousand I spent on the vehicle.Based on my experience at this dealership, I would NOT RECOMMEND it to anyone. The people there are JERKS and they sold me a piece of shit car!

the owner,dave did not honor the warranty on the used car I bought. i bought it and the next day it was in the shop. it had a major brake defect. when we called dave, he refused to repair the car and he refused to give us a refund and said it was our problem now. We offered to even buy another car that was drivable but he said no, he did not want the car back. so, we ended up repairing it ourselves for as much as we paid for the car. I am disappointed because he stated when we bought the car that he would fix the car we bought free of labor charge.
