Enjoyed the process. Never felt pressured the give and take was very professional. The o7thing negative has been with finance department. I have called numerous times to inquire about the bank that gave me the loan and a week later I still haven't received a call. My fau7for not checking paper work before I left. But the buying experience with great.

Terrible sales staff. Totally irresponsible. I asked if the car has a backup camera and she emailed back to say yes. I drove 30 minutes to take a look. No camera. If you are not certain, please say you don't know. What a waste of my time. Completely incompetent!

A very disappointing experience, wasted over 4 days of my time, with no regard. Poor communication very disorganized. Went in on a Friday evening with my family. Was looking at a 2016 used car they had, after an insulting first offer and a little of the usual sleazy car dealer back and forth we settled on a price with my trade, by that time it was closing time and they said they couldn't prep the vehicle or get the financing done I said no worries I'll give them information and do the credit application sign the papers and when they get it done. I would return, they said to take the vehicle and come back on Saturday to finish the docs, I live 2 hours away! I came the next day they were having problems getting this financed in my business name and after an half an hour I said would leave the vehicle and let them figure it out. They insisted I take the vehicle again. According to them equifax as frozen my credit file. On Monday I speak to equifax and they say there is no freeze and that they are entering information incorrectly. On Tuesday I reached out only to get a call to bring the car back. BOBBY ARSHAD, ROBERT AND COMPANY ARE horrible.

I had a great experience with Don Reese and my Finance Rep. The process of purchasing my used car at Mazda of South Charlotte was very smooth and efficient. I felt like Don, the Sales Consultant was extremely comforting and helpful while maintaining a high level of professionalism. My Finance Rep was also very professional and personable as well. I would recommend Mazda of South Charlotte to anyone interested in vehicles that they have on their lot. Oh and my Mazda is great. I love it.

I bought a 2016 Mazda CX-5 at Mazda of South Charlotte and I couldn't be happier. The salesperson, RJ Black, was phenomenal. He was patient, extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, and very professional. Chris in finance was also great as was the sales management. From the time I walked in to the dealership until the time I drove away with my new CX-5 I was amazed as their speed, knowledge, and they really seemed to care that I got a car that was perfect fit for my family.

Salesman Michael Shaw made the process as painless as possible. Was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My only complaint in the process was "dealer prep" charges are not included in the advertised price, so the REAL price ends up being a little more inflated.

I give my Overall experience with Mazda a 100% because everything was wonderful from the start to finish. I came to Mazda not knowing what kind of car I wanted at all. As soon as I got there, we were greeted by a Car Salesman named Craig Shane, he was absolutely wonderful. He showed us around and took me straight to the car that I loved. He didn't beat around the bush, he was very serious and blunt with us, told us everything we needed to know. The process of getting the car was even better, it took no time at all, everyone was so nice including the Sales Managers, the finance office and the Salesman that we dealt with. Out of all the car places we went to, this one was defiantly the best car place yet. I would recommend Mazda of South Charlotte to anyone that was interested and also would recommend asking for Craig Shane to assist you in buying a car.

They suckered me in with a seemingly good deal, only to give me poor customer service and never getting back in touch with me when I needed it.I purchased a new vehicle from them beginning of August. About a week or so later I get a call stating I need to come back to sign papers again because my payment had decreased. Luckily I was in the area the next day so I went by. They offered to top off the gas and give a car wash. Mind you I still had a temp tag on at this point. By the time I got home, I realized that the tag had been torn off in their car wash. I called back to inform them and they said they'd "Look for it." A piece of paper vs. high pressured water = non existent.The next day I get ANOTHER call saying I need to come back to get papers signed AGAIN. I was not going to waste MY time for THEIR mistake. I wanted someone to come to ME. This never happened. So I reluctantly went back down there on a Saturday. While I was there I asked for another temp tag which was almost like pulling teeth to get.Here it is a month later, my first statement was cut Aug 31 due Sept 7, and I didn't even receive the statement until Saturday the 3rd. This is on top of the fact that my financing apparently was affected by the whole paperwork fiasco and my payment for my trade-in was taken out. That was money to be used for the NEW car, not the old one. I proceeded to call multiple times to speak with someone regarding this, without any response. I FINALLY, got a hold of someone last night and they said they would "Check with the Finance director and call me back." I'm still waiting. Not holding my breath.Needless to say, I will be making yet another trip there to try to rectify this. It's not my fault that MAZDA is incompetent. I shouldn't have to make a payment on a car I no longer own or be expected to make two car payments in one month because of it.

Called on a car then decided against making the 5 hour round trip to see it. Tonya called me back to say that the owner would be in on Labor Day and that they would make me a great deal on the car. She said that if I didn't buy the car that they would give me gas $ for the trip. The car was already below KBB and I was suspicious that something was wrong with it but I figured that it was worth the trip. WRONG! They car had scrapes on it and touch up that would have required paint work. The wheels had been painted light gray and nothing was masked so the tires and wheel wells were also light gray. At least then I knew why the price was below BB. When we sat down to talk #'s, the price of the car jumped up $995 due to "Dealer Reconditioning" charges. I explained that I was told that I would get a great deal on the car (below the internet price) and the first thing they did was tack on $995! We should have left immediately but we ended up talking to three people in management. As we were about to leave, they finally agreed to the price that I requested but by then my wife and I were disgusted. They did fill our gas tank but that did little to compensate for the Labor Day that we wasted there. They have aggressive internet prices but keep in mind the "Reconditioning" charges. Needless to say, I will never return there.

I was searching for a specific Mazda3 not available in my area. I found the car online and called to negotiate a deal over the phone. After putting a reasonable down payment on the car, they held it for me for over a week until I could travel to Charlotte. Upon arriving in Charlotte, Matt was nice enough to pick us up and take us to the dealership. The dealer was in the midst of moving to their new location, so their showroom looked a little sparce and unkept, but that's understandable considering their upcoming move. Communication was superb the entire time through email, text, and phone. I felt I got a great deal and had great customer service.

I was dealing with an accident with my prior Mazda lease and without a car for several weeks. Ryan proactively reached out to me to see what he and the dealership could do to help and scheduled an appointment for me to meet with Matt. In meeting with Matt, he was able to find me a car within my price range that I felt totally safe driving and I was in and out of the dealership in no time with my new lease. Kyle Vazquez at Mazda of South Charlotte was a great salesmen. He was patient and knowledgeable about the Mazda CX-5 that I was interested in purchasing. My wife and I purchase a Mazda 3 s Touring from Mazda of South Charlotte. They are amazing! WOW is all I have to say about your sales team! They are great! When we came in to purchase our car, Don Reese and Scott from Internet Sales just took such great care of us! They did not try pushy sales tactics or find reasons to say no....they just simply made the sale happen! We could not be happier with our purchase and as importantly, from whom we purchased. We will definitely be making future purchases with Mazda of South Charlotte. We also, later on, had to bring in the vehicle to their service department and they are as amazing as their sales team. Dana Snow has been taking care of our needs, setting us up in a loaner care, and is wonderful and so easy to work with. They truly have assembled a great team! We also had the opportunity to meet other members of the team there (Moe and other) and they are so welcoming and friendly. They make you feel so comfortable and you know you are getting the best deal out there. We tried with every Mazda dealership out there (as far away as Atlanta) and Mazda of South Charlotte was the lowest price and beat the competition by a large amount. All I have to say is Thank you!

Brand new spanky facilities with extremely warm greetings at this location. We went in to look at a 2015 CPO Mazda CX-5 Sport. The car was sold the evening before. We were operating in a very tight budget because we wanted to trade in our 2009 Mercedes Benz C300 and make an all cash payment with lien off of our heads. What I can tell you is that the people here will try to work with you as much as you would want to work with yourself to make your goals meet!We loved our experience with each and every one we met at this place, at the end we walked out of the place with 2015 CPO Mazda CX-5 Touring fully satisfied.I can tell you that we are not easy people to deal with when there is paper work around since we read each and every piece of paper handed to us in details but the whole process was stress free at this location.Thank you guys!

My family and I went to 15 different dealerships in Charlotte and Rock Hill until we found Mazda of Charlotte. This was the first and only dealership where they truly listened to what we wanted. We we're greeted by Carlos and Gino, who were absolutely wonderful. They did not try to over sell vehicles that we were not interested in or could not afford. They immediately directed us to vehicles in our price range and what we wanted. The finance dept were amazing in getting us the best deaI and explaining all of our options in detail. They took the time to talk to us even when they were supposed to be closing, they did not rush but instead took their time to ensure all our questions were answered and we were happy. We're looking forward to going back again and getting our next car. They made us feel like family and now we are part of the Mazda family because of how wonderful they were with the whole process!

I would like to start out and say how great Matt Koval was in my purchase of a new Mazda 6. Matt was a great sales rep and was the only one at the dealership that seemed to be on my side even though he messed up the initial quote for the car. I know what you are thinking. He is a sales rep and won't get paid if he is not nice to me or sales me a car, but he really went the extra mile when the finance person found the error. So, the day before I had went to a few other dealerships and got quotes from them. I had a rough estimate of how much the car should be worth and was determined to get a better deal. When we were discussing about the price, I had mentioned to Matt that I wanted to do the special financing for .9% for 63 months but for some reason he misunderstood and applied the wrong rebates to the price of the vehicle and took off $1500 off the sale price, which made it a better price than the other dealerships. The only thing was, they didn't have the exact car I wanted. So they had to search for it, and provided me a loaner until my car was ready. I was feeling pretty good at this point. Unlike the other dealers, I didn't feel hassled and got a great price. They found the vehicle the next day and had it at the dealership that day. They were going to detail it and put on a free window tint before I picked up it up, so I had to wait another day. Here is when everything went south. While I was sitting in the middle lane about to turn into the dealership, this tow truck hit me. I should have known it was a sign. The damage was not that bad and no one was hurt and I wasn't feeling too bad because it was the loaner vehicle and not my new car. So I called Mazda of South Charlotte and few people from the dealership came out including Matt and made sure I was OK and took care of everything because I was right in front of the dealership. I still can't believe it. Thanks to everyone who came out and assisted. OK back to the sales story. I got to financing and the finance person informed me that those rebates should not have been applied if I wanted the special financing rate. After going back and forth with the finance person about price, we ended up with a good price again and he even applauded my negotiating skills. Little did I know he was applauding his own negotiating skills. He then prints out the financing papers for me to sign. I looked it over and noticed the sale price was MSRP. For some reason he thought the 4K I put down was to lower the initial sale price, but in fact, it was to lower how much I had to finance. Who pays MSRP!!?? So he went out and spoke to the sales manager and he came in. He tried to reason with me over the price and telling me how much he was losing and me telling him what the other dealerships were offering. He basically said there is no way the other dealers would offer me that and that was that. At this point I was livid. I was there with no way to get home and was calling the other dealerships to confirm pricing and if they could pick me up from the dealership. After a few minutes, Matt came and apologized for his mistake and stated he did not really know about the financing and how it would affect the price by not allowing the rebates. Although he had messed up, he was more than willing to try and make up for it unlike the sales manager and finance person. I am not sure if this really happened, but he said he spoke with the owner and got me a better deal than what the other dealers were offering. It was not as good as the initial deal, but way better than MSRP. In the end, I got a good deal from Mazda of South Charlotte and love my new Mazda 6. So if you are in need of a vehicle, go see Matt at Mazda of South Charlotte. I am sure he won't make the same mistakes with the rebates again after all I went through and he will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your purchase.

Saw a car that I wanted to look at online for a decent price so on my day off I make a 40 minute drive out to look at it. Once I got there the staff ignored me until I started wandering the lot looking for what I saw online. The first person who approached me was clueless about what was on the lot and I found the car before they did, only it had a not for sale sticker on it. The employee who was with me then wandered off and I was left standing buy the car with no clue what was going on so I started my way back so I could leave after wasting my time and gas driving down there. Before I could get back to my car to head back home a salesman started asking questions and trying to sell me a car that was quite clearly marked not for sale. He was actually knocking on my window as I put my car into gear to drive back home. Avoid this place at all costs

I went to the dealership after visiting two other area Mazda dealers and to my chagrin the dealership had moved to their now new location. I found out that this was their second day at the new location. Organized chaos was the theme of the day. Not the less they had the car I was seeking a Mazda6 Grand Touring. The price was right and after spending way too much time waiting on systems and people to get their act together we got it done. Danny the sales representative was the consummate professional and he did an excellent job of explaining the vehicle and allowed for a very informative test drive. I am giving them 4 stars only due to in my opinion they were not fully prepared to be open.I found out that they indeed were closed for the next four days in order to get their act together. I will give them a zoom and hold off on the other zoom until I visit them again.

I had my previous Mazda for almost ten years, and I was excited to get another one. I felt it had excellent quality and I never had any issues, even putting it through dirt and gravel roads, and hauling more than a hatchback should ever be asked to haul. I went to Mazda of South Charlotte because it was the closest one to my work, and was met with nothing but problems. The first sales guy I talked to was high pressure and wasted my time. I spent two hours there when all I went for was to have my trade in appraised, and left without even having that done. The internet manager contacted me and tried to help smooth things over, but when we got back found out she was unable to show us cars as she wasn't a sales person, so tried to put us back with the same sales person from before. When I declined, we were given a new salesperson who honestly did the best he could, but when we got down to haggling (and there is haggling here, TrueCar or not), he wasn't able to do anything and I didn't trust the numbers that were being hand written on papers. We finally did get to an acceptable price, and when I go to start signing, there was a zero in for my trade (I had supplied my trade payoff information to two different Associates, but apparently none of them entered it in the system.) This would of course raise my payment more than $100 a month! So stressed out and frustrated, I go to leave and get the"oh wait, let us fix it..." I felt like the whole thing was a big game. I ended up telling them the absolute highest monthly payment I would accept, and two seconds later, that is where we were. So I was there another 6 hours, their finance guy was too busy to get to me, I was sick to my stomach, and I had to take a loaner home (essentially leaving my car as ransom). Dealership was unwilling to tint the car to SC standards (where I live), saying it was illegal for them to do (being in NC). Not true again, as the other dealer I went to was also in NC and had no problem doing it. After thinking it through after I went home, I didn't want to return to this place and asked a friend to help me get my car back at which time I was told I had to physically come in to sign paperwork and my friend could not get my car for me. After leaving an angry message for the sales manager basically stating that I had no interest in dealing with them and they had better have my car up front since I had to come again on my lunch and I didn't have time to listen to another pitch - I went, and funny enough - there was nothing I needed to sign. I feel like I was being deceived the entire time, and I would never do business here again. The other place I went was no pressure, got me the same car (which South made sound like there was only one to be had), and at a much lower price, with bonuses thrown in on top of the deal. DON'T BUY HERE!

1st let me say, the sales guy Zack was great. Nice kid, you could tell he was new in car selling game, but he did a good job. Te bs happened about a week after I drove off the lot. I got "financed" for a 2012 Malibu, only for the bank to call me and say they didn't receive all the paperwork from the dealership. I bought the car about 2 weeks ago. I faxed the finance company all of the information they asked, and they won't do the deal - this is the same information I gave the dealership who let me drive off the lot. They're saying I can bring back the car but I have to wait 48 hours to get my $2500 down payment back. I wasn't going to write a review, but about 45 minutes ago Robert Mack hung up on me because I told him I'm not waiting for my money. He also blamed me for messing up the deal. They wanted me to lie to the bank about my income to get financed, which is a crime (and I'm not a drug dealer or anything, I have nothing to hide!). I'm in school 2 hours away, I don't have time for this bs with them. I'm considering getting a lawyer involved and I will hold this car hostage until they give me my money back. Left a message with the GM, hopefully he calls me back today.

You will eventually be able to read my negative review about my first 3 hour trip to another Charlotte dealership this week titled "Buyer beware". In a nutshell, it involved negotiating a deal over the phone, confirming the vehicle was still available, setting an appointment and then starting the drive to Charlotte. Two hours into the three hour trip to Charlotte the phone rang saying the vehicle had been sold ! As bad as that experience was, this one was as good as a buying experience could be. We dealt with two individuals; Scott Bonack (one of the managers) and Brian Lagos our salesman. I initially talked with Scott over the phone, explained my earlier experience and he assured me that if a deal could be negotiated, the vehicle would not be sold before we got there. I talked with Brian some, we went back and forth a bit on price (which is part of the fun) and came to an agreement. What was good about it as well is we discussed the purchase at the "out the door" cost so there would be no surprises. A price was agreed upon and all that remained was a satisfactory test drive.My wife and I arrived and even though the dealership was very busy, both guys keep track of our purchase process. The test drive was great, Brian went along and I was able to evaluate what I needed to confirm the purchase. It was a recent arrival on the lot, so it had not been through the shop to be detailed etc. Even though that part of the dealership was busy as well, they were able to get it done before we left. to return to Charleston.A shout out from Mr.Isom in finance as well. Even though it was obvious he had been busy all day, he made that part of the process effortless as well. I do believe in the old saying "you want to make people feel good about spending their money!" The car is meant for a friend who works at tractor supply (doesn't make a lot of money) who didn't have a chance to take her cashiers check that had been made out to the first dealership back to the bank yet.I told both Scott and Brian that they made a lady they don't even know very happy today!

Internet ad for the used Mazda I wanted was $14,717, a 2014 with a backup camera. I drove out there and found out that it was a "mistake" that the ad said it had a backup camera. I was still interested, understanding that there would be taxes, doc fees and destination fees on top of that. When I got the offer numbers, I saw that they added $998 for what the salesman called a "shop job," which he said included new tires, detailing and he said some other things, but at that point I stopped listening. When added to high extra fees, the total "out the door" for this vehicle was over $17,200. Not exactly as advertised. BEWARE!

My husband purchased a car from this dealership in 2013 and were VERY pleased with our experience, so we went back to Mazda of South Charlotte for mine. And I will NEVER be back. We mostly worked with Hash. He told us multiple things about the car that were untrue. Luckily, my husband had done a lot of research so he knew what was true/what wasnt. He was very pushy and I felt he ignored everything I said. After some back and forth, an insulting first offer and eventually getting to our target goal, we leased a 2016 CX-5 and I truly wish we had visited other dealers before doing so.I signed a form saying they could pull the title from my trade in and they never asked me to bring it in. Three days later, I had 2-3 different people calling me at work/on my cell multiple times. I was leading trainings all day and unable to answer/call back until after working hours. Finally, Jamie emailed me and we set a time for Friday afternoon for me to bring in the title. The next day, I was off-site for most of the day. I saw I had missed calls/texts/emails from Hash saying there was an emergency. Then, I received a call from a co-worker saying Hash in my office waiting for me He was told I wouldnt be back for hours, but proceeded to sit in my office for close to 4 hours waiting- attempting to sell cars to the secretary In the meantime, another person from Mazda called a different line at my work (instead of my direct line) asking to speak to me saying I owed them paperwork like yesterday and being rude to my co-workers. When I arrived back, Hash asked if I had my title. I did not, so he had me sign the same form saying they could pull the title themselves. My husband called Mazda to ask them to remove Hash from my office and never received a return call from his manager. That night, he went to the dealership to complain and the manager said he never received his message. He also told him that since they would pull the title, it would cost $100 and that Hash had told me this prior to signing. He absolutely did NOT tell me this or I wouldnt have signed it. The next day he received an email apologizing, waiving the $100 and giving us a free tank of gas/detail for my car. Jamie reached out to me again that Thursday asking if I was still coming by Friday. I explained what happened, he apologized saying no one had told him and he also offered me the gas/detailing. I LOVE my Mazda (as does my husband) but we will absolutely never return to this dealership well take our business to Keffer or Independence when were ready to trade again.

He is very knowledgeable, he listened to what I needed and helped me find it, and he wasn't pushy in way. My mother purchased a used miata from Brian Lagos, a sells rep at South Charlotte. At the time of the purchase there were two dints and a couple deep scratches on the fender. During the negotiation, Brian and South Charlotte agreed to fix the items in the "we owe" and saw the process through until the cosmetics were complete. They brought mom a loaner car to our home 1.5 hours away...to say the least they went out of their way. I was impressed with the courtesy.

Lifetime Mazda Owner - have never seen such unscrupulous sales tactics to sell cars. Obviously, I did not purchase from them - went with another dealership that doesn't employ these tactics (and got the car for several thousand less). From all other negative reviews I have seen here and on other review sites, I am quite certain that there will be a faux accommodating response apologizing for the experience and offering to make it right (as yet one more practice to appeal to human nature giving them the benefit of the doubt). I bought a used car right before Thanksgiving from RJ Black and I could not be more pleased with how things turned out. My car is great and RJ made the process very easy. There was one thing that needed to get fixed on the car that I purchased, and I drove it off the lot knowing that I would need to take it back or figure out a way to get it fixed. I had an overall grotesquely negative experience. Next day, no call, no email returned from this dealership. So I called, spoke to the rep from the prior night, she hadn't really..done anything. At all. And deflected when I asked her if she had checked on anything. So next day we drove four hours round trip with check in hand, only to be greeted with surprise charges that started as reconditioning fees, then came back on paper as inspection/certification fees, and got the almighty bargain bin run around after these new fees. These weren't mentioned over the phone. And it's something worth mentioning if the customer tells the rep that they are getting a check printed, with consideration taken to the other dealership fees, tax, etc. Guess what? We got in our car, scraped up the funds to purchase the car at the newly inflated yet agreed upon price...and five minutes after we sat down to do so.... "so sorry the guy that approved that left, we can't do this price anymore. We can do this nicely higher price here." Turned around, walked out. So many hours wasted for me and my significant other.

I was very pleased with the overall experience at Mazda of South Charlotte. Everyone from the internet staff, Jaye, to my salesman, Marcus, and the finance officer, Wendy were all very professional and helpful. I live in Columbia, SC and had been shopping for vehicle for my daughter for the last few weeks and had become very frustrated with the process. On two occasions my wife and I traveled more than 75 miles from home to secure a deal that had been arranged over the phone and/or internet only to find ourselves baited into a car dealership with lies. This was not the case with Mazda of South Charlotte. I gave them a price for a vehicle that I was willing to pay and the sales manager agreed to it over the phone. We drove to Charlotte and just as promised, the vehicle was there for the price we had agreed upon. There no hustling, haggling, or up-charging. Not that I need to say anything else to convince you of the type of service I received, here's the kicker. I secured my own financing for the vehicle but I forgot the check at home and didn't realize it until all the paperwork was nearly complete. I was intent on coming back later in the week but the staff at the dealership offered to come to Columbia from Charlotte to secure the remaining documentation. I totally understand they wanted the deal closed and I don't blame them but to drive to Columbia was amazing to me. This is what I call true customer service. They have gained a customer for life. If you're reading this review and in the market for a vehicle, PLEASE go to this dealership. They will take care of you.

The car buying process stresses me out so much but everyone mad everything so easy and not so scary :) even the people that weren't helping us were SUPER nice. Everyone we saw said hey with a smile, offered us drinks, and food, and while we waited for our new car just talked to us and made us comfortable. Well, I was traveling from Atlanta, Georgia to Newport News, Virgina, when my check engine light came on. I called ahead and check for availablity to see if my car could be seen. I was an hour from Charlotte. I pulled into the service area. I was greated with how can I help you, by one of the gentle men who was working and I was told, I needed to speak with one of the service representative there. I told him the problem and completed necessary paper. I was told a diagnostic test would be conducted. I waited in the waiting room. The service representative came back with the cause(s) and solution to the problem. The problem was fixed, my family and I was on our way. My husband and I were very apprehensive about car dealers. We visited many dealers, then decided to pull into Mazda of South Charlotte. We were expecting to be decended upon by selling hungary salespeople. Instead..... we were pleasantly approached and guided into an office. We told our salesperson what we were looking for and he immediately found matches for us. Then he suggested a 2015 CX5 instead of the 2014 for just a very little more money. We opted for the 2015 and we are very pleased with it. The finance people were very knowledgable and friendly. The had patience with us as we were going back and forth between purchase and lease. The assistant manager explained each in detail. We have not had any repairs yet, however, I'm sure they will be fine. The facility was clean and neat with plenty of places to sit with comfort. Every time we have been there we have been offered a beverage. We would definitely purchase from them again.

Carlos did a great job of explaining the pros, cons, advantages, monthly gas cost and any future mechanical cost i would be looking at. At no point did i feel like i was being taken advantage of, carlos was concerned with my very concerns and this made the process much more pleasureable and stress free for a young woman that in any other case would be taken advantage of. After about 6 hours of weighing out my options and being explained my range with my credit score in detail i decided to get the 2014 mazda 3, it had some of the good features i was looking for and was in a better price range for me. Paper work was a flash with chris and moe working as a team to get it done yet explaining it at the same time. They also didnt shove anything down our throat that was unnecessary which was appreciated. Also wanted to point out that Carlos is a saint, along with chris and moe as well i have a 2 year old daughter who is usually somewhat of a burden to someone trying to conduct business of course but carlos treated her like a princess letting her hold his phone to watch a clip from frozen and showering her with goodies like cookies and balloons. Our experince at mazda of south charlotte was great because of many factors and i will be sending everyone i know there because they can work out anything for anybody. Ended up purchasing a MazdaSpeed3 here without doing enough research. Later found out I paid a good 4k more than I should have. Ok, so what dealership *wouldn't* take advantage of someone who didn't do their research if they found one.Since I purchased, I've been spammed by mail and phone, especially after I take the car in for service, asking if I want to buy another car. Really? I haven't even put 25k miles on the first one and I keep telling them I'll only purchase when the next MazdaSpeed is released. Give it a break!Most recent development? They send a scratch off flyer saying you can win $25k. Now I know these are usually scams but I don't see any fine print so I bite. I scratch off and win. Yay? Still skeptical I call and they say hurry on in to get my prize. I hurry on in and they say I didn't win (of course) but I can have a buffalo coin as a consolation prize. I refuse the coin and the idiots proceed to try to push a car on me. I say I'm not buying because they don't have a new MazdaSpeed.I talk to a manager and ask to speak to the owner and he takes my number and promises an owner will call. No call.I'm in the area the next week and drop by to talk to an owner. Same thing.I call the next Saturday and verify an owner is there, drive over and ... sorry, an owner is unavailable.Seriously the rudest most dishonest dealership ever.SPREAD THE WORD!

Our experience was excellent, do to employee Josh Decurtins. Josh is not only your Parts Manager, but has a mechanical background, making trouble shooting of small problems simple. He not only sells parts, but can explain why they are needed and how to access them. In his absence, we spoke to Chris, also having a fine sense of mechanical issues and parts knowledge. When we brought our car in for service, Peter Schwartz, Service Advisor, started work as scheduled and returned the vehicle within the estimated time frame. Our short wait was made pleasant by Dana Snow, who's personality brightened up the waiting area. In all, a great experience at a competitive price.

I stopped by the dealership on my way to dinner. Salesperson was extremely low pressure, understood I was there for 5 min and gave me his card if I stopped in again. Low pressure worked as I just had 5 minutes so I looked around and stopped in the next day, grabbed THAT sales guy and did a test drive. The negotiation was about a 10 minute process as I didn't want to haggle for hours and they agreed to work with any reasonable offer. The guys were genuinely nice, knowledgeable and didn't oversell me on the add-ons once I was clear that wasn't a need for me. I highly recommend a visit to Mazda of South Charlotte and the CX-5, well, absolutely everything all the reviews said, great car.

Everything!! From the initial phone contact via receptionist, to Dana, my service advisor, everything was outstanding. Dana is a huge asset as he made me feel comfortable from initial phone conversation through my explaining the issue with my car to him in person. He and service team addressed that issue and from a thorough inspection of car, identified honest and accurate details that need attention. I feel very lucky to have had this experience. I went to the lot on Friday night and just wanted to quickly look at the new CX-5 on my way to dinner. Travis met me, understood and gave me his card letting me know the 'High pressure' thing was not their style and said to grab him if I came back. I was not hassled, looked around quickly and went to dinner. The next afternoon I came back and asked to test drive the cx-5.....Travis was knowledgeable, answered questions I asked and did not try to oversell me. I was fully expecting questions about my job, my current car, or a needless forced conversation about each and every feature........maybe there is a consumer that needs and would appreciate that, but Travis read me well. At the point we sat down to discuss numbers, I was presented with a set of numbers, I countered and then we agreed on a final number all within 15 min......they said they wouldn't drag the numbers out and would quickly move on an agreeable number and they did. The finance guy was as cool as Travis and was not pushy with the offer of additional options at the end, again, very we'll read on their part. If you've gotten to this testimonial you already know you want a Mazda. If, like me, you want a no none sense, honest and very hassle free buying experience, this is the dealership to visit.

So I came to this dealership, expecting not to be helped like the dealership located on Statesville Road (Keffer Mazda to be exact, which has shady sales practices). I was immediately blown away from the first phone call (from Jae, the awesome representative that related to my previous experience at the previous place) and as a result, ended up coming into the dealership the next day. I spoke to Travis, (the salesperson) who took ownership of my problem (was wrongly treated at Keffer Mazda of Stateville) and went the extra mile to ensure that I ended up with the car I originally wanted. They even worked with my unique credit situation (credit report co-mingled with someone else by error) in order to make sure that no further problems would come to the surface in the future, as it is the case with most dealerships once a car is purchased. Overall, the atmosphere at this dealership is one where you can't help but to feel as "part of the Mazda family" as opposed to just another "sale to book." I highly recommend this dealership to my friends and family and if I have any other automotive needs in the future, this is the place I will definitely will be coming back to :0)

When searching for my next car, I found that Mazda had what I wanted there. On sales floor, Moe greeted me upon entering the showroom and listened to what I was looking for in my car. Moe had experience with the H2 that I was looking at there and provided me a great experience in showing the car features with going on a great test drive to go over the truck. Moe sent my offers up and went through the sales process to get me a payment that I was looking for with the truck. After the sale price was complete, he worked very hard to make sure that I was happy, financing getting lined up and getting the truck into detailing for delivery.For the deal, I feel like I got a good deal on it with doing financing and extended warranty on the truck. The detailing staff was excellent too with making the truck look brand new. I will also say that the management staff were excellent in checking out everything was in great shape with a through inspection in NC after just having an inspection too in Texas. I am enjoying my new to be H2, thank you Mazda South Charlotte!

My appointment was for 3:30 but I got there at 1:15 and they were busy. I asked if there was any way there could do a quick diagnostic as this was the third time I was coming in for an engine light coming on. At 1:45 they came in and told me my car issue had a recall, no charge and I was good to go. I was estatic as thought I'd have to be sitting there for two hours. I purchased my 2012 CX-9 at this dealership in April, 2012. My buying experience here was actually a pleasant experience compared with other dealerships. Mike was professional, and I knew what I needed to buy the car for, and I got a good deal. Usually, I don't return to the dealer fir service, but I have returned for all of my oil changes. Dana welcomes me by name immediately after I drove up. He was professional yet friendly. My CX9 was done within the time he told me it would take to perform the service. I think that the facility is going to move, so the waiting area isn't pretty, but they provide desktop PCs and free wireless so it's nicer if you choose to wait for your car.

I purchased a brand new Mazda CX5 from this dealership. Needless to say, they took forever to finish the purchase (was there from 9 AM to close) and were pushy in the end for me to buy the dent repair plan. After my purchase, I called over 4 times to get my dents repaired and other items fixed that I had paid extra for and purchased. I left several messages with several different people including the manager and NO ONE EVER called me back! Not ONE! I am in sales, I work 70 hours a week to the point of exhaustion. If I treated my customers like this after they purchased over $27K in product like this, I would be gone! This is unacceptable customer service and I HIGHLY encourage others to NOT PURCHASE from Mazda South Charlotte if you want follow up, customer service or integrity!

The entire buying process of my new 2014 Mazda 6 was horrible. I "bought" the car on Sunday 5/21. Then I was left a message by the finance manager on Thursday to call him. I tried all day Thursday and Friday, each day I called over 7 times leaving a message on his voicemail, with my salesperson and the operate and no return call. Finally I was able to reach him around 5:30 on Friday. I was told to come in and sign two papers. Basically, the car was overpriced by dealer add-ons to the point Mazda financing would not finance it and I would have to go with another bank for a higher interest rate which I did not agree to. I was told to keep the car over the weekend and check with my credit union. I decided to just take the car back first thing Monday morning and get my trade-in, a 10 Mazda 3 back. It was shocking how fast that price dropped. I signed a new contract and left the dealership. Around lunch I got a call from the sales manager that the paper work didn't include an remote starter add-on and I would need to come back to the dealership a 4th to sign a new contract. I signed the contract and left but didn't realize until I got home that the price had gone up $1200 from the contract I signed that morning. Considering the dealership is 25 minutes from my house in Dilworth and almost an hour from my work in Davidson making all these trips to the dealership was extremely time consuming. To top off the horrible buying, I had an appointment schedule by the sales manager to drop of my car on Monday 5/6, pick up a rental car and they would install the remote starter on Tuesday. When I got to the dealership I was told by a guy in the service department no rentals were available. After some complaining I a rental was found then I was asked where my 2nd key was. I was never told to bring the second key so I had to return home and get the spare key. Tuesday on my way to the dealership I got a call that my car wasnt ready because a technician was late that day and my car would be ready on Wednesday. When I finally was able to pick up my car on Wednesday to learn I was given a really cheap remote start that will only work about 20 from the car but they took apart my spare smartkey and installed it in the car. Not only do I have a unless remote starter but only one car key. My Mazda will never be at this dealership again.

The dealership employs very courteous people until one encounters the service manager . Paperwork for a "cash" sale was very slow and tedious . We just purchased a Ford Fusion which required credit checks and a secure funds downpayment because the car can be returned for Zero cost within 7 days or 300 miles . Excluding the thorough test drive and walk around - the entire process was half the lenght of the Mazda deal - "time is money " eh ? I am being treated as ignorant , contentious and not able to be pleased . REALLY? And they are ----- Foreign cars are not being loved in the USA where Ford and Chrysler are the national AND international heroes and their stock prices reflect that along with Worldwide record sales and Chrylesr repaid their loan ahead of schedule and with enormous interest . What was I thinking to buy the product of a nation that is totally bankrupt ?!!

We were in the market for a new car to replace a 2002 Subaru. We had narrowed our search to the Honda CR-V, Toyota Prius V and the Mazda CX-5. The Prius was very nice and we had worked with that salesman before, but we wanted to make sure we gave the Mazda a look before deciding. We visited the dealership on July 4th around noon. Daniel met us and put us in a CX-5 for a test drive. This was not your usual drive around the block and back test drive. We went out on the interstate where he showed us the Blind Spot Monitor feature, and spent time on main streets and back roads. He was patient and knowledgeable and very pleasant. When it came time to talk price, he and his sales manager were persistent but respectful of our comments. We left with a written offer and told them we needed to visit the Prius one more time. On the way home, my wife said there was no need to see the Prius again. The price difference more than made up for the difference in gas mileage. We would have gone back that night but the dealership closed early for the holiday. We went back on Saturday and the final paperwork went smoothly. Robert was very efficient with the financing portion and the car was clean and perfect when we drove away. Almost 1000 miles now and could not be happier with the decision to go with Mazda.

I only did a test drive but the whole experience was a good one the salesman made me feel really comfortable and knew somethings about what the Passat had to offer. Although I had issues with the asking price based on looking at other Passat with lower miles it turned out not to be the car for me but a car that anyone looking for a Passat would be happy with. At Mazda of South Charlotte they did their best to help me in buying a car but in the end I went with a different place and a different Passat.

The transaction took the better part of a day to complete. The dealer's initial offer for a used 2009 Mazda5 was only $1000 less than a brand new Mazda 5. I found the manager to be disingenuous as he repeatedly "misquoted" the blue book value of the car. In the end we agreed on a price for the car and my trade, only for me to later find that the dealer reduced the amount they gave me for my trade by $1000 on the paperwork. They used part of my down payment to pay off my trade, when the deal was for the dealer to pay the trade off in full. They embodied every stereotype of a used car dealer and I will not use their services again. I will also tell everyone I know to steer clear of this place.

Bought a CX-9 from them in 2009 and it was a pleasant experience. Joe Jackson is the internet sales manager and is a pleasant guy to work with. Even the finance guy wasn't too pushy either. In 2011 I went to sell the CX-9 and Joe beat carmax's price as well. But I ended up selling to a private party for a much higher price. Overall ... good experience!

My wife, 6 month old son and I, just purchased a pearl white CX9 Grand Touring. All I have to say is "WOW" what a superb vehicle! It is a blast to drive....powerful, responsive, nimble, and yet has the spaciousness and therefore the practicality of a SUV. My son and I went to Mazda of South Charlotte an half hour before closing and Michael inquired about the model car and accessories my son was interested in. We told Michael we would come back and Michael told my son he would make him a deal that he could not refuse. We went back to Mazda of South Charlotte a couple of days later to get an estimate on the car he wanted. Instead of getting an estimate, Michael made it possible for my son (who is a college student) to purchase a brand new 2012 Mazda3 Touring with all of the accessories he desired. My son took the car home with him that same day. Originally, we spoke with salesmen at other Mazda dealerships. However, the deals the other dealerships offered could not compare to the deal Michael gave my son. The price was unbelievable! I will tell everyone I know to speak with Michael Bastos when you are considering buying a car. Michael keeps his promise of customer satisfaction. My wife and I had been looking for a crossover suv for awhile, we finally decided to check out the CX-7. we love our 6 and we thought we would give Mazda a try again. when we were finally ready to buy, Mike worked very hard to get everything taken care of and to schedule a time to have our accessories installed. unfortunately, we had personal issues with the car we purchased, (the CX-7 is a great car, it just was not right for us), so we went back to the dealership to see if we could possibly find something else, or get back our money and trade. everybody at the dealership immediately acknowledged us and were determined to make us happy. Mike took us out on the lot to see if anything else would fit. my wife became very interested in the Mazda 5, so Mike got the keys to a nice one and sent us out on our own for an extended test drive to make sure we would be happy. we were very happy with the 5 and wanted to see the options on the lot. this was on the Monday of the week of Thanksgiving, and we had our tired 1 year old with us, and it was pouring down rain. Mike was running around in the rain bringing different trim options up for us, the other salespeople and there receptionist were happily keeping our son happy. Mike and the sales manager gave us a great deal on the 5, and bent over backwards to make us happy. not many dealerships will be willing to take a new car back, and even fewer would give such a great deal on another car, and work so hard to make people so happy on such short notice. if you need a good car that is reliable and fun to drive, go see Mike Rithamel at Mazda of South Charlotte.

We purchased a 2011 Mazda Miata at this dealership. We were very pleased with the buying experience. Mike was really fun to work with and was very accomodating to all our needs and expectations. Our Miata had some power issues and it was towed to this dealership, it was fixed within less than half a day while we were there to pick it up, we spoke with Mike and with the Sales Manager Ryan. They cleaned the vehicle for us before we took it home.

From the moment I walked into the dealership it was a very satisfying experience. I reached in the evening around 7 pm after work. Mike Bestos was very welcoming and took the time to understand my requirements. Kudos to him for locating the car in the limited 2011 inventory and for coordinating with the other dealer to immediately lock down on the car. All this happened well past the normal store time. The car had almost all the accessories which I was looking for and they agreed to add the remaining ones into the car to my surprise. The pricing negotiations went well and I am happy that I could get a deal in the price range that I had researched and thought was a good one for this trim over the last couple of months. What the great pricing allowed me was that I was able to avail some of the good extended warranty packages. The deal was closed at 930pm in the night and I was out of the place after signing on the dotted line by 1015 pm. I would also like to thank the finance team for working with me on the documents and for answering all my questions.I would highly recommend them to everyone.Car - 2011 mazda cx9 Grand touring - Rear entertainment system, navigation and my wish list of accessories.

Over the course of the last 3 months I have been searching for a new vehicle. I have previously driven cars passed down from my parents, so as a first time car buyer this was a new process for me. After searching many dealerships, I became interested in the new Mazda CX-7. I began searching the inventory of CX-7s in Charlotte and found one I was attracted to at Mazda of South Charlotte. I normally do not write reviews, however I was beyond impressed with the service I received from the new Mazda of South Charlotte dealership. I dealt directly with Chris Burrill and the General Manager Kris Ross. They were able to help me find the perfect CX-7 with all the options I specified. Unfortunately for me, I dont have the best credit and had to have my father co-sign for my vehicle. For convenience purposes, they even drove the paperwork to his place of employment for him to sign. They have a great sales staff at this dealership; I was provided with excellent service and will most certainly look to them for my next purchase. I recommend using Mazda of South Charlotte!

-customer service : answering every question i had, making sure i was comfortable, and asking me what i was looking for and not being pushy.-quality of work : first i set up 2 face to face oppointments with seperate dealerships and a third via cell, trying to perhaps upgrade my 2008 mazda6 to a "newer used" mazda6. my appointment with mr bastos was the 2nd. i arrived with little expectations. given that the dealer i had been to, no more than 15 minutes prior, could do absolutely nothing for me. eventhough i was only there for about 30 - 45 minutes. i explained to him that i had just showed up to keep my word and why. he asked for a chance and i gave him one. what did i have to lose. anyway, i did not get a "newer used" mazda6. they were able to get me into a brand spanking new 2012 mazda6. wow. how's that for customer service.-friendliness : i asked for no nonsense and that is exactly what i received.-overall experience : i got a 2012 mazda6. heeellllooooo-price : they really worked with me and i honestly feel i got a FANTASTIC deal

This is so far my best car buying experience ever. I first contacted Mazda of South Charlotte on its web site asking for a quote. Michael, who is the internet sales manager, emailed me back within 24 hours with a good and honest price. Then I went to the dealership with the quote. Everyone is very friendly over there.
