Waiting for my car to be serviced in the dealerships customers lounge and one of the sales people was talking to one of the sales ladies about his date he went on in great detail that is not something a mother and her children need to hear very vulgar in nature be careful what you say when there are customers present not good business

I cannot say enough to describe how pleased I was with the staff, my experience and my new Explorer. Every person I dealt with seemed to go above and beyond. Jim and Donna exceeded my expectations in finding me exactly what I wanted and were a pleasure to deal with. They were very helpful in making sure I was well informed of everything since it was my first time buying a car. Austin was a great help on the financing side and the gentleman that synced my phone with my car and made sure I knew how to work all the features was a huge help as well. I couldn't believe how quickly and easily the whole process went. My experience with them wasn't in the least bit stressful. It was actually fun, which is the way buying a car should be. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone. I cannot thank them enough.

I was a little upset going in to get an oil change & tire rotation. The reason was that I had bought a new set of tires from your dealership at 59000 mi. One of my front tires began to make flopping noise. It had flat spots all around the outer edge. I ask had if they been getting rotated at least ever other time that I got an oil change. The had not. At this time I had 92000 mi on my truck. They tell me when I need to service any other part of the truck but how come they don't know to rotate my tires every other oil change. The front tires were put on the rear. I hope this helps. These were $400 plus a piece 10 ply tires. They checked the balance at no charge & I appreciated that very much. They said that I needed to remind them when they need rotated. I will try to do that in the future but I shouldn't have to. My other service is always very good.

I was pleased with your service but I was lead to believe that I had 4 free oil changes on the owner advantage rewards. It said 4 paid oil changes left. The lady at your dealership said that was 4 paid by me to get a free one but that did say that on the advantage rewards. I was not pleased with that.

I had my Lincoln Navigator in for maintenance. I only had to wait about 45 minutes and was given updates about the service being done and what was needed. The waiting room was comfortable with a TV and popcorn. I had enough rewards to pay half my bill (GREAT). I was given professional and courteous service. Thank You.

I had a 9am appointment for "The Works" and was told to bring my Edge early and they might get to it early. I dropped it off at 8:45am. My wife had followed me in and we went to breakfast. When I came back at 10am, it had just gone on the rack. Finally finished about 10:30. When I went to pay, I was told the special price on "The Works" had expired a few days before. When I got home, and looked at my mail, there was a coupon for "The Works". It only cost me an extra $5, but it would have been nice if the dealer had known the new coupons were coming out and given me credit. Two other points: The waiting room was full and I had to sit in a salesmen's chair. It would be nice if you offered a loaner so I could go for breakfast instead of having my wife follow me and then waiting. I know dealers in Huntsville do that.

An awesome buying experience. We went to see the car one day and went back and purchased the next day. There was no high pressure and nothing to make you leave feeling all icky, which is how I felt after visiting some of the dealerships in Huntsville. Service was great, however it took too long to order a common part - the thermostat. Odd. A Ford thermostat should be a commonly kept part. I'm sure they are the same ones on most Fords. To take 3 weeks to order one? Odd. When I stopped by to find out where the part was, I was told by the service dept. that the lady who ordered parts was on the phone? Say what? Like you folks don't communicate by computer? And why couldn't the service dept. look that order up? He should have been able to look it up on his computer and tell me right then. Odd. Need to update your computer system. And then I got a phone call that the part was in, I was out driving and asked him to email me. He didn't. Now, I bought the car there, so why wasn't my email address entered into the customer system from the sales dept.? Odd again! Nice folks, just a little backwards on your business systems.

they were very friendly. one thing that was uncomfortable was that the sales desk was sitting right next to the waiting area for the service department. The customers waiting on there cars can hear the deals going on and personal business. I know this because I was in 2 weeks later having a tire fixed and I was sitting in that waiting area and could hear the sales deal of a couple buyijng a car. Yes I ignored what I could but dealership should be mindful of this. Other than that Donna was awesome.

The sales staff (Michelle Wilson primarily, 'Mac' assisting) were very courteous and helpful throughout the process. I have had my service work done at McClary Ford since moving to this area in May, 2010. Jim McClary and Mickey Smith (owners of McClary Ford) are two of the nicest guys I've ever met! Recently, my husband and I purchased a used VW Jetta from the dealership. We negotiated a fair price and a promise that a small dent in the rear bumper would be repaired. When the dent was brought to the owners' attention, we received a call from Mr. McClary AND a call from Mr. Smith. Both guys assured us the dent would be repaired, allowed us to pick a day convient for the repair, and gave us a NEW Ford Fusion to drive while the repair was made. They even went the extra mile and had the VW washed inside and out before returning it to us! We are so impressed with these guys. A million thanks McClary Ford owners for treating your customers right!

I brought my 2013 Ford Focus in because I was told there was a leak while my oil was being changed. After inspection by McClary, it was deemed that the leak was in or around the transfer case. The service manager called and informed me that it would be covered under the power train warranty and had it done within 3 business days. The car runs better than it did before now, so I am definitely pleased.

My truck runs better now than it has in years. I was skeptical that replacing the CAC would fix the white smoke clouds but it did. Not only has the smoking gone away the engine now runs smoother with increased power. Job well done.

Courteous and didn't take long. Would like to have not had to wait almost a week for an appointment for an oil change but I guess that happens. Not sure that the tire pressure was checked as the sheet indicated. I should have checked them myself immediately to find out. The car drove like they might have been a little low. Last week I purchased a used 2012 F150 Lariat SuperCrew from McClary Ford and have nothing but great things to say about the experience. I live in Roanoke, VA and found the truck online, which could have made the buying experience a little daunting. However, my salesman, Thomas Trickey, couldn't have made the experience any easier. McClary gave me a great deal on the truck, and much of the transaction was handled via phone and email. When I arrived in Huntsville, Thomas picked me up at the airport at no charge. The truck was exactly as I expected; there were no surprises. After less than a half hour at the dealership I was on my way home. I love our truck, and I would certainly recommend McClary to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle, whether you're local or from out of state.

The service was good. This was for a recall on our model car. The only "problem" is that when we made the initial appointment for service we were told the needed parts weren't there and needed to wait-ok, no problem. However when the parts came in we weren't called to bring the car in for service; it took us going in person to see if the part was in. Other than this, service was professional and prompt.

I had to teach a sales lady about trucks, when I lived in Vegas and bought a Silverado to pull my boat. So, of course, I'm very biased. New Ford Explorers are a little too short, so tell Ford. The older Explorers, like I bought, are just fine - can fit big dogs, one of my criteria.Now, if only you folks could service my 30ft. X 10ft. high motorhome with a PowerStroke engine, I'd definitely be a devoted customer.Rest rooms could be update. Interior showroom a little old.

This was my regular The Works service for my Mercury Sable. I scheduled and they were ready to begin my service when I arrived. I enjoyed to waiting area...(they have good popcorn and TV) and the service was accomplished quickly. I like working with the Service Mgr. Randy Barnes. I feel they are familiar with my car. Service was covered under warranty. I called from 0730 - 0815 on Saturday morning and finally reached the service department that supposedly opened at 0730. I was able to arrange an appointment to have the door seal replaced at 1000. Seal was installed and I was on the road by 1030.I had to scrubb the dirt/grime off my leather seat after I got home.

2014 Ford Escape purchased on 28 June. Received top level treatment throughout the whole buying process!Had one minor issue regarding 5K service on 22 August. I went online and scheduled an appt for 12:00 noon. When I arrived, I was told that all the guys were at lunch and it would be 1:00 before they could get to me. I was able to run errands to kill time, so this wasn't an issue. Just wanted to let you know that the website should be blocked for those times when service techs are not available, or as an alternative, scatter the lunchtimes to accomodate folks who must come in during their lunch break. Again, this was a non-issue for me and I received excellent service!

I am a new Ford owner. We purchased a very nice used 2011 Edge. The sales process went fairly well. Mike was a courteous and helpful sales rep. The following background is important. Our family has owned Toyota's for years. I also am a lead manager for a very large visible Army aviation production line where we take great pride and effort to lean and 5-S the assembly and maintenance areas. So when I walked into the McClary maintenance area I was very disappointed with the cleanliness, order, and overall mess. All Toyota dealers have followed lean principles by keeping all areas very clean and set in order. Is your dealership a representation of the Ford Manufacturing line? Then I will worry about future costly maintenance and quality service. It appears your maintenance area is stuck in the 1950's. Please consider addressing this for future customers.

I came in with car troubles I was from out of town and had no way of going anywhere i was going to be at the dealership for a while I was in the customer lounge and it was getting lunch time and a young man came by and asked if he go and get me some lunch or would I like to borrow a vehicle just to get out of the dealership for awhile I couldn't believe that someone would trust someone to let them borrow a car I didn't feel comfortable borrowing a car and I turned down the offer for lunch but I looked up and the young man had brought me some food. I went to McClary Ford to buy a 2013 Nissan 370Z Nismo. Yes you read it right a Nissan. I search a 300 mile radius or Memphis TN for the car I was looking for and McClary Ford had whati wanted. I started an online communication with Max Parker that turned out to be a wonderful experience. Max provided all of the info that made buying a car from an out of town dealer as positive as it could be. I went to McClary service today for an appointment for the 2012 Focus I bought last year. The service team took my car in before the appointment time and completed the service before the estimated completion time. I ran into owner Jim McClary at the service counter as he was greeting service customers and checking on the Saturday work load of his service department. I had a cup of coffee with Jim while waiting for my car and was surprised how he remembered me. I have purchased two cars from McClary Ford and must say that since I found them I really have no concerns anymore about automobile transportation for my family. The sales staff, I have worked with Thomas on my purchases, the finance office, and the service staff have covered down on my every need in a timely and economical manner. Purchased an F150 from McClary Ford and had a overall good experience. My salesman, Bubba, made it a painless process and the finance guy was great - I'm sorry I don't remember his name! My only complaint is the owner, Jim. If his dealership depended on him and his personality, the dealership would have gone under already. The truck I bought happened to be the truck he had apparently been driving for a couple of days. He acted like it was a major inconvenience for him to have to take his golf clubs and few other items out of the truck. I tried to chat with him for a minute and he wasn't interested. My apologies for the inconvenience - next time I will take my $40K somewhere else.

While visiting Alabama from 1300+ away, we found ourselves in need of a new tow vehicle and came to the dealership after finding a F-450 online that caught our eye. Max Parker helped us through the entire process, even contacting a Ford dealer and the DMV in our home state to discuss tax, title, and registration so we would not overpay or have any surprises when we returned home. Max went the extra mile to get all our questions about the vehicle answered, even contacting the previous owner to answer questions about upgrades he had done to the vehicle. We were given plenty of time to make our decision to purchase the vehicle and once we decided, the dealership financing department was easy and pain-free! The paperwork we needed to review and sign was waiting on us, which was very important with two small children in tow! While back in town a few months later, we stopped by for routine maintenance and a minor warranty issue on our vehicle and Max was there to insure we were taken care of by the service department. We really felt like VIP customers, especially with the free popcorn in the waiting area!

I was on the market to order a 2013 Ford Raptor when I called McClary Ford. I live in Atlanta and became frustrated early in my search after bad experiences with two of my local Atlanta-area dealerships. I researched forums on the internet to see where other people were ordering their Raptors and came across the McClary name. One phone call and 5 minutes later I had a buyer's order for my exact vehicle with my specifications. No run around, no games, no monkey business. I asked the questions, they immediately answered them, and the deal was done. I hadn't even shaken hands yet but already Max Parker (salesman) treated me like an old friend, was patient and polite, even emailed and called me on his days off to answer my questions. My Raptor in my color with my options at the BEST price I could find anywhere within 500 miles was delivered 2 short months later. I drove 170 miles to deal with McClary Ford and I will do it again when I'm in the market again for a vehicle. I'm what you could call a salesman's worst nightmare: I do ALL my own research, I have all my questions written down, and I don't play games or fall for sales antics. At McClary Ford, I didn't have to. These guys honestly wanted to get me exactly what I was looking for and they made the entire process as easy and simple as it could ever be! Spent an afternoon out there kicking tires on used trucks and SUVs. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant, knowledgeable, and were not pushy. I have been bringing my car to McClary Ford in Athens, Alabama for 4 years now. I have tried a couple of other dealers in the Huntsville area but felt I was never treated as well as I am at McClary. The service people are always friendly and greet me with a smile. I have had oil changes there, bought and had tires put on there, I have had a minor tune up there and some warranty work and brake work. Sometimes I have had to wait a little while, but when I have, I was able to go up front and talk with the owners, Mickey Smith and Jim McClary, who are always there with a smile and they always make themselves available to people who come in. Everybody I have met there have always been friendly and helpful.

We have been taking our ford focus there for transmission problems and they either say I'm not driving it right or there is something wrong with the car. The even told me once not to drive with 2 feet when I know not to drive with 2 feet in an automatic. They are very rude and last time I asked them if they could fix it they denied service. The service department manager is extremely rude, I believe his name is troy. I will be taking my car to Lynn Layton from now on since they are very nice.

I went into this dealership to look at my girlfriend's mother car. They had put a used engine in it and it broke after 3 days. When she originally picked the car up, the engine was still making the same ticking noise as when she brought it there. The next day they called her and said it was ready.I couldn't believe they had fixed it the next day. She picked the car up and told them she was dissatified with her service. At this point, the car was running not exactly right, they told her it was something to do with the fan. Three days later the car was loudly ticking again. When she called the dealership they told her there was no warranty and she needed to pay another $2000 for labor to put in another engine. Although they were going to send the engine back to where ever they bought it from and get another one free. When I got there they had my girlfriend very upset and were telling her they would not fix it without the 2 grand. I went and opened the hood and pulled the dipstick. When I pulled the dipstick the oil was completly black and thick after 3 days of running. While the manager was yelling at my girlfriend on the salesfloor, I walked up and he was continuing to treat us like we were idiots. So I asked him if they always put new oil in a car when they change the engine. He replied "of course", giving me a duh look on his face. So I said then why is the oil in her engine black after 3 days and less than 100 miles. He said that it couldn't be, so we went to look. He pulled the dipstick and looked shocked as he said "well this oil is black". He immediatly walked into the dealership very quickly and would not talk to us any more. What great customer service!

Just left on a 200 mile trip in my 2003 F250 diesel towing a 25 ft. gooseneck with 6 tons of tractor on a hot Summer day. Got my two big farm dogs with me. The engine light comes on and the next town was Athens. They were convient to the crossroads of Hwy 72 and I65. So I pulled in with this rig and found room to park. They said drop the trailer and pulled it in right away. Well a sensor went bad and caused the problem. They got water for my dogs and had me on my way in about 30 minutes, no charge. This is the way people used to be to each other. If my farm truck ever wears out, I'll stop there first.
