Worst service I have ever seen! Over priced! Cheat! High pressure tactics! And when they got caught they got loud and said I had no morals. Really! The manager says he is going to go get the blue book value. I love smart phones. It's a F250, 2006, 100K miles. Kelly blue book says 18-20k. They say 26999 is a fair price. When we called there bluff they got loud and extremely rude. Saying that we were rude. I guess if you mean standing up for your self. Then yes I guess we were rude. Buyer beware. If your willing to play roulette. Then go to truck town and get your next truck. If not then I recommend you go else where.

I bought a 2011 Chrysler 220 Limited on January 2, 2016. John Warner, the salesman, was out for a buck. After purchasing the car, I noticed the Oil Change light was on. I became very concerned about why I had to pay for an oil change within a week after purchasing a car that cost me 19k. I called him up and asked " why did I need to change the oil, when I just purchased this car." His reply was, " the oil had been changed but they forgot to reset the maintenance light. " The next day after driving the car home, I heard the radiator gurgling when I shut the car off. To my astonishment, the oil cooler was leaking, the head and manifold gaskets needed changing. And, they had never changed the oil. Five hundred dollars worth of work. And they tried charging me! These cars are NOT serviced before they put them on the lot for sale! They do offer a 2/2 which is 2 months and/or 2000 mile warranty on the vehicles; however it is limited. I asked the service manager if they do a 128 point inspection on the cars before they put them on the lot. He said yes, which was a straight lie. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from Joe McClowsky. His sales people are rude, they kicked my friend out of the dealership because he asked to speak to Joe McClowsky. I am horrified by such treatment as I just indebted myself for 19k. This was the worst car buying experience I ever had in my life--and I've purchased a few vehicles.

I purchased a truck from this dealership in September and within two weeks I had to have over $2200 in repairs done to it. The mechanic (certainly not McCloskey's) said that the problem with the vehicle had been going on for a long time and certainly should have been obvious based on all the rust under the timing cover. So much for their touted 110 point inspection. This place is truly buyer beware. They won't return phone calls, not ever for the second vehicle key they owe me. The Finance Manager promised the service of a locksmith to remove the lock off the trailer hitch, again no return call. My advice to anyone seeking a vehicle is to avoid this place and if you still choose to go there, don't make my mistake and at least get the vehicle checked by a good reputable mechanic. I didn't think it was possible but this place actually gives the used car market a worse name than it already has. UPDATE; On Oct. 16 I had to have the Mass Air Flow Sensor replaced to the tune of $540. Thanks Big Joe for the piece of garbage you sold me. I sure hope other people can learn from this sorry experience.

It's been the worst experience since we bought our car at McCloskey. The service is slow , 20 people walking around doing nothing . Took about 7 hours to finilize the paperwork when any other dealership took only 1.5 max. From there it got even worse. The AC broke and it literally took 5 trips and 4 months till it was finally fixed. When I came to pick up the keys, the manager was so rude and told me I am not his customer and he cannot help me. I have never been treated with such disrespect and felt so humiliated. Again I would not recommend this dealership to anyone the way they treat "their customers" and definitely don't believe that they can get a dealership of the year with this type of service .

I'm honestly glad that I waited about 6 weeks to write a review, because now I can write about my entire experience. First off, I would like to give five stars to only the salesman Aaron. He was the only good experience of my entire car buying process. He was very patient and really took most of the day to help me.Let me explain my experience. I live in Aurora which is a good hour+ drive to McCloskey Motors. I found a Cadillac Escalade online and it looked beautiful and seemed to be exactly what I wanted, so I called and scheduled a test drive. When I made this call, I advised them it was a long drive and I wanted them to assure me that there would be no problems when I got there. The woman said her manager said the escalade was in perfect condition and that I would find nothing wrong with it... LIES. The escalade had broken tail lights, a broken windshield, a broken rear windshield wiper, the interior was full of holes where the trim had been ripped out, and the engine made awful noises. As you can guess, I was extremely upset and close to tears. I haven't bought a new vehicle in about 7 years and I was so excited and this ripped all the excitement out of me. Luckily, Aaron realized my disappointment and took hours to help me find something else. I ended up buying a Ford Explorer which was perfect and had everything I wanted. HE is the ONLY reason I bought a vehicle from the company that day. He was amazing, patient, and did his job perfectly... but that's where the good experience ended. After deciding to buy the vehicle and going through the numbers, I had to go talk to the finance gentlemen there, I believe his name was Anthony. He took FOREVER to call me in to sign the papers. It was almost a good two hours. Honestly, if the Ford hadn't been such a good price, I would have probably walked out. He calls me in, we sign papers, sweet.. everything is done, or so I thought....A week later, the financer, Public Service Credit Union, calls me to confirm information regarding the vehicle.. ok.. no big deal, and then another week later Anthony calls me to inform me that I need to go back to McCloskey's to fill out additional information for the Credit Union so they would send the payment over. Are you kidding me?? Once again, this is an hour+ drive. I lost it at that point. How is it that I have been driving a vehicle for 2 weeks, that no one has paid for. I threatened to return the vehicle because I no longer wanted to deal with this company, and of course suddenly I didn't have to drive anywhere to sign anything else. I went to the credit union here in Aurora myself and spoke to a very nice manager who straightened everything out.Now here we are, about a month and a half later, and I receive another call from McCloskey's stating that they have my other set of keys and my coupons for free oil changes... so I call today to arrange a time for me to drive the hour+ to pick these up since for whatever reason they weren't given to me the day I bought my vehicle, and they inform me... well we are out of the coupons, but you can get your keys now and come back later for those.. *sigh*. Also, of course, my vehicle 4 weeks after having it is making strange noises in the engine, so thankfully I bought the extended warranty, but I'm still waiting back to see if they plan on charging me to look at it or not since I haven't had the vehicle that long. All in all, they have an amazing sales person at a crappy dealership. I wish Aaron would go somewhere a little more honest, because he is too good of a person to work there. I will never recommend someone to this company, nor will I ever purchase a vehicle from them again.

Visited this dealership to purchase a car. Had excellent credit and had over half of our budget in cash to put down. They had very little selection of vehicles within our price range. They promise a 4,000 trade in value which was not taken into consideration. They told us the deal only lasted the rest of that day, which was not the truth and was used just to get us on the lot. We were interested in a vehicle and could not even test drive it due to the fact they had lost the keys. We spent four hours there the first night and got absolutely no where. Had to drive another hour and a half to come back the next day and there were still no keys. After hours of sitting and waiting we finally got to test drive the car. We got out on the high way and had the car over heat and it would not excelerate leaving us stuck in the busy intersection. By the time we made it back to the dealership and popped the hood the engine was smoking and had a boiling over flow. The engine was completely done for. It was very unprofessional. We became very upset and disappointed. We spent a total of seven hours and the staff and manager took no consideration to the fact the service they were providing was awful. They didn't have any organization and I had to ask myself how they do any business this way. I would in no way recommend this dealership. We had a terrible Experience and I will never go back.

Even though I was buying a very inexpensive car for my teenaged son's use I was well taken care of in every department from sales to repairs to finance. I did have an issue with the car that was quickly addressed by Rick in service. after I agreed on the price of my truck and was told by Cory that he would let me have the truck for a flat $10000 with all the handling fees and taxes paid . I was sent across the street to finance where he went over the financing so fast my head was spinning when I left . After I got home and when over the paper work I saw that I end up paying 15,000 . They add taxes and handling fees and also $1000 of a glass and tire warranty that I didn't want because it cover by my insurance anyway ,also a 2 yr warranty for $2,000 when I told it cost $200 . When I went back and went over it with them , they was willing to change anything saying " looks like a good deal to me ". So if you buy from Mccloskey make sure you go over the paper work and look for what it going to real cost you in the end before signing anything !

I'm pretty sure they sold us a lemon. We bought our vehicle on 26-April 2013 and I have only been able to drive it 4 times. Aaron won't call us back and at first I thought it was a battery that Aaron swore up and down the first time I looked at the vehicle that it would be replaced and after I had to have it towed because it wouldn't start. When I picked up my vehicle I had to have it jumped at their auto shop. My husband was gone for 2 weeks and I was left with a vehicle that I couldn't drive because it never wants to start. My thought the whole time was please don't let their be an emergency because I have no vehicle even thought it was in my drive way. We have called multiple times and they never want to answer our calls or call us back. It seems pretty suspicious since the sale people spend most of their time outside smoking. Very disappointed and unhappy with our vehicle and their lying.

We came to McCloskey and were genuinely impressed with the entire sales process. Our sales rep was new, however tried to help us as best he could. The finance manager actually explained the paperwork and got us a great deal on a warranty. The last vehicle we purchased from another dealer I did not even know what I was signing, Cliff actually explained everything we signed and listened to our needs and concerns. He then suggested a warranty for us and it made sense. We have never purchased an extended warranty and we are very happy with our decision to get one. We will come back to McCloskey ad be telling all of our friends to go see Cliff.

My husband and I decided to give McCloskey motors a try as we saw the advertisements, which were very positive. Our salesman, JB, was excellent. Friendly, helpful and courteous. We bought a used truck for my husband. We trusted all that we read about the 120 point safety inspection. I don't believe anything was inspected on this truck. As we left the lot to bring it home the check engine light came on. We called and spoke with JB, who had to speak with his supervisor. After being told to drive it a few days to see if it would go off we brought it to Autozone to find out why the light was on. There were several things wrong, which, after some arguing, were fixed by the repair people at McCloskeys. After having it a week and the clutch acting strange we took it to our mechanic to have it checked only to find out that the clutch is shot. It will be a thousand dollars to fix. We are unable to get this done so now we are making payments on a truck that won't be in commission.I guess the hard part for us is that we are trusting individuals and all of the advertisements about this being the number one car dealership led us to believe that we would be treated fairly. No complaints about our salesperson. He really was very sweet and we realize it's not his fault that his business sells cars that haven't been inspected at all. For this reason we will not be able to recommend this business to anyone nor will we give return business.

I very happy with the sales and service staff. Joe met me personally and gave me a few pointers on the new used car that I bought. We live in Castle Rock and drove the distance to see a GMC Denali that these guys had listed online. Our Sales associate was knowledgable of the vehicle, it test drove fine and after jumping through the "Let me take these numbers to my manager" game, we finally settled on a payment that was within our budget. Then we met the finance team. After sitting at the dealership for approximately two hours after negotiating a price, myself, my wife, and our two seven month old twin boys were invited into a cramped, stuffy, paper-strewn office to finalize our financing. Two hours later, we left in our newly purchased vehicle, having traded in our old one. FOUR WEEKS later, we are still trying to get our trade in paid off through our bank. We still haven't reveived any notification from our new financing company as to when/where to send any kind of payment.Their excuse was "The finance person you delt with is no longer here and Kelly will be handeling your account." Kelly seems nice, she has given us a lot of her personal background, but hasn't been able to follow through with phone calls, messages or emails to communicate with us. After speaking to Cliff Benson, apparently a finance manager there, our questions were answered ... but I still feel slighted that these people could care less about my (the customer) concerns. I don't care if they've replaced somone, I don't care if the person that they've replaced him with has to work from 8am-10pm, I do care that when you happen to return a call, you have no idea whom your calling or why you're returning their call ... especially after they've left you four or five messages and a few strongly worded emails. Keeping an open line of communication is vital to practicing good Customer Service values. This dealership has seemed to let that slide, no matter what these other reviews said. You may have many good experiences posted here, but this one - among quite a few others I noticed - WAS NOT. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. EVER.

I purchased 3 cars from here. Although everything on the surface was fine, I am now pleased. Will not go back. I Needed an all wheel drive car. They found me a 2008 Mazda CX7 which was great. However now, I'm not so happy. This all wheel drive they sold me, well, it's not. The alignment was also supposed to be fixed, was it, Nope. And although they printed a carfax, I didn't get to see it because I kept getting pulled to and from financing, etc. I will say the finance lady was great! Well the car had been wrecked, they said it was very minor. Not so true. So now I am in a front wheel drive car that was sold as something else. On to car 2. I really wanted an Audi A3. Since I was fresh off a deal I thought was good, I called to see if they could get the one I found. Darrell took my call and said he had one just like I wanted. It was priced on the Internet at I believe around $14K. We had a trade in that was KBB at $4700. Well, when we started dealing they wNted to give us $4k, I said no less than $4500. He finally agreed but when we started going through the paperwork, the price of the Audi on the Internet went up a thousand. I said no way, but he said that the Internet price was wrong and did some fancy talk. Well the car was clean so I bit! Should have walked away. They then talked us into a warranty, which was smart, but boom, a car we should have paid $9500 for was up to $13k plus financing. It took over a month to finance but when done, I was ok. Until we got our first payment in the mail and the principal balance was $20k. You have to be kidding me!!! We have got it under $16 and will refinance. As the other report, they promised other things which never happened. When we drove off in a car that hadn't been detailed, they promised us they would. I brought back, and they didn't have scheduled, rescheduled, came back and they sent me to a different local. Anyway, after a 24 hour detail, they tried to charge me for it. I got pissed at that point and it took at least another hour to get it worked out. Well, that's it! I will Never go back. I even referred my sister to them. Guess what, they screwed her too!!!!!

I am writing this review because I was shocked by how many things could go wrong with our visits. Started out great with the customer service reps...who have nothing to do with the actual dealerships. Arrived when our scheduled appointment was supposed to be, no one knew we were coming or even knew of the car that we wanted to see. Katie then took us to their other dealership to see the car. We had to wait 15 minutes for her to find the keys, finally we test drove it back to the original dealership. We asked Katie multiple questions about the car but she did not know anything about it! Once we were back Katie told us she would be right back. 20 minutes later we were approached by Dillon who started to negotiate pricing with us. He guaranteed us things that we never received! Told us things that made the sale sound good, but after the purchase we found out that they were not true. Typical used car sales man! Sorry but he proved it! We then had to come back another day because the finance rep was not there. Not to mention we live in Denver about 60 miles away! We then came back to our set up appointment and again no one knew why we were there or could help us. We waited half an hour and then Jessie who was the only nice and knowledgeable person there helped us. While he was helping us, Dillon took our car to be serviced for an issue that they were going to take care of for us while we were singing paper work. After the paper work process we asked if our car was done, Dillon ignored us but found someone to take us to our car where it was being serviced. When we got there the car had not been touched and the mechanic said that Dillon told them it was staying over night! We live in Denver and it was our only form of transportation. At this point the service center is closed and they cannot do anything. Now we have to go back down again to have them fix something that should have been done before purchasing the car! Long story short we ONLY came to this dealership because they had the exact car that we wanted. I would not recommend this dealer unless they are the only place with a car you cannot live with out! I gave the dealership this rating because the friendliness was non existent, the price started out good but did not prove itself and because the overall experience was not something I will participate in again. After posting this review I was contacted by the dealership, they said they would help with fixing our speakers since they did not work and it was not deducted in the price. It took way more effort on our side to get it done and it took another month.

This place deserves 6 stars! This is my 3rd purchase so far and it keeps getting easier. They have a great vehicle locator program that saved me a ton of time, tears, and $$$ that got me the exact Ford Edge I wanted with the exact options and I didn't have to drive out of town to shop. It is always tough to put your faith in a place to bring a car in and not know exactly what you might get..but they gave me a guarantee of what I would get and throw in free oil changes and a warranty for piece of mind. Excellent job as always and they just helped my cousin pick up his new (new to him) F-150 last week and was thrilled to get financing as a 1st time buyer and get a awesome truck to boot. Easy financing, great staff, A+!!!!

I have edited this review as things have drastically changed. I originally gave 5 stars. Now first of all if you have good credit I honestly would still recommend McCloskey. We however have poor credit and before I ever came in I talked to Internet sales explained our situation and they said they could work with us. I was ecstatic when we left the lot with a vehicle it was a pt cruiser not really a car I wanted but with our situation it seemed the only one we were approved for or so I thought. We had a trade in that had a balance but it was an older used car and on it's last legs :( I was so happy to have a well running car I didn't care. Well we were told by a friend that works at another dealer that he hoped they had a bank for us because they always get horror stories of people having to return their vehicles to mccloskey because they weren't approved. I got scared and went over my paper work and yup we signed it, it said 50$ a day and .50 a mile if contract was canceled. (we didn't have to pay that thank god). Their customer service had been outstanding until this point. I was extremely nervous and called every day and left a message for Amber I just wanted to talk about my concerns. I didn't receive a call back for a week. When I did it was the call that I feared, we weren't approved unless we could get a co signer or an additional $2000 down. I put $500 down plus had a $2000 trade in value that showed on contract as part of the down payment. Well I obviously don't have $2000 in savings or my credit probably wouldn't be as poor. My advice is slow down and really read everything you sign ask questions as this seems to be something other dealers know mccloskey for doing to their customers. Don't waste your time if you don't have a major down payment if your credit is bad. No I am not mad at mccloskey they didn't do this to purposefully screw me over. I do think there was things they should handle better and I do believe they need to explain with words not just paper just because you're driving away today doesn't mean it's a done deal. I feel they shouldn't act like they can get almost anyone approved with poor credit either. They treat you great in there I will say that. I got $320 of my down payment back (only less because a kid broke the windshield and I of course knew I'd have to pay that) however I now have late fees from my trade to pay. If I knew up front I would have went somewhere they work with people like us. Of all dealerships I have gone to I will say they made me the most comfortable and thwy treat you well. Just be careful

We purchased a 2006 VW Jetta TDI on October 31,2012. We included the high tech warranty in our purchase in hopes of protecting ourselves should anything go wrong. Did things ever go wrong! On December 28, 2012, we took our car to the service department because it was making some bad noises. We left the car, giving the service manager a detailed explanation of what was going on. We explained to him that we needed the rental our warranty covered. We were told that since it was Friday, and that Monday was a holiday, he would have someone look at it on Tuesday. Then maybe we could get our rental by Wednesday. By the following Friday, when I had not heard a word from anyone, I went into the dealership. I was told that the motor mount had broken, and that the motor needed to be replaced. A quick call to the warranty company served to inform me that they were not going to cover any of it. So here I sit, with a car I have only made one payment on, I owe $16,000 on it, and am being quoted around $10,000 to fix it. I came home and within about 30 minutes, found something called a Vangogh clamp on a vw forum site. I emailed it to the service dept., and received an email back saying it was a great find, and that this might be just what we need to "fix"it.Fast forward 1 month: The car is still sitting there, we have received two return phone calls out of at least 10, and we will probably end up having to file bankruptcy over this. When my husband went down to the lot to talk to someone(because they apparently can't return a phone call) He was offered a business card to go get a loan to cover the almost $3,000 quote we were given. The "fix" is unacceptable. It is a band aid on a gun shot wound. I have never seen anything like this in my life. I understand that this is a business, but apparently integrity is not a big part of it.

Visted your dealership,4 times during your sales event. Wasn't even greeted? Some sales people weren't even helping customers. They were more concerned with the coffee pot, or pizza being delivered on Saturday. Interested in a new Vitari, but the 2 on the lot had written on the windshield, "not for sale"? Should have visited your other dealership, may have been more successful. But your event was being held at the 5515 N. Academy location. My spouse and I have purchased vehicles prior, but never had this bad of a experience. I even visited today (10/01), I saw only Thom McCloskey on the lot assisting a customer, and he is the Finance Manager, WOW! I Saw plenty of rep's on the side of the office smoking or on their cell phone, this does not look good for a reputable dealership.

After being in the shop over 40 days we got billed over 400 dollars even with their "extra warranty coverage". Now the engine is dying on a 2009 we bought from this dealership. They also failed to tell us of many recalls on the car that were not fixed. The sales manager has no problem flat out lying to you, assured me she would "take care of it" and call back. Never got a call! The warranty company called us letting us know that the car could not be repaired due to false information that this dealership was providing during the repair process. Which took a good time to sort out! They have no problem giving false information to cover themselves.

I stopped by McClosky Truck town to look at used cars for my family to get to and from work and school. Nothing fancy or expensive....just reliable. I realize we had credit hurdles to overcome and we weren't overly hopeful on getting approved. We were happy when the salesman came back and said we were approved, but only for a 2001 mercury sable they just got in as a trade in. We went over to the service lot to look at the car and take it for a test drive. It wasn't the best looking car but the price was right and would fit my family of five. We went for a test drive, it had a lot of shakes and noises coming out of it and when the pedal was to the floor we were only doing 25mph. There was a huge crack in the windshield. All of these problems were addressed with the salesman and we were told that they would all be fixed before we took possession of the car. We went back to the dealership and signed all of the paperwork to hold the car(this was a Thursday). We were told that the car would be finished by Tuesday at the very latest. On Tuesday they still hadn't called us so we called them. They said the car hadn't even gone into get fixed until Monday, so it wasn't ready yet. We were ok with that, they just said to call back on Thursday to see how it was going. We called on Thursday and the salesman said that they were just taking it out for a test drive and it should be done within a couple of hours. So we went into the dealership to sign all of the final paperwork and give them our down payment. We got there at 2pm to find out the salesman wasn't even working that day, so we started dealing with Ron. Ron had no idea what was going on with the car so he called the techs. He said he didn't know who told us it was going to be ready today, but the finance lady would be right with us. We went in, signed the paperwork, paid the down payment, and were told to come back into finance office to get temp plate when the car was in the lot. We waited, and waited. Ron came back out at 6pm and told us that the car wasn't going to be ready that day. Possibly not even for a couple more days. We voiced our irritation of having to sit there for 4 hours before anyone bothered to tell us there was no way the car was going to be done. Ron had a HUGE attitude and basically told us that we were lying and no one told us it would be ready that day. When we said it was fine, we just needed a ride home, and wanted the car to be fixed, he then said "Well, Ive already have over $1000 worth of work into this car and I can just rewind this deal right now." We felt like we were stuck in a hard place. We really need this car and they PROMISED to fix it. So we went home. We called on Saturday and they said it was ready for pick up. So we went in to get it. The windshield was still cracked. Ron said they wouldn't fix that until the finance company sent them the money for the car, so we would have to bring it back then. It could be up to 2 or 3 weeks before that happens. So we said ok, left with the car and not even 2 blocks down the road the check engine light came on. We turned around and they said to take the car home and drop it back off at tech center on Monday. On Monday when we left our driveway there was a pool of oil under the car. Now we have "Owned" the car for almost a week and have only had possession of it for a day. It is still sitting at the tech center and Ron tells us he is just going to have the tech reset the light. He isn't going to fix the problem that is causing the light to go on. He has an attitude and threatens us every time we talk to him. We were given another managers name to call and see if this problem can be resolved. We told him we didn't want to deal with Ron anymore. He told us he couldn't do anything, we would have to keep dealing with Ron, and transferred us over to Rons phone. We hung up. Posted this complaint and within in 15 minutes got a phone call from the manager yelling at us telling us to take it down or he wouldnt work with us to fix the car and would rewind the whole deal so we wouldnt have a car. So I deleted my complaint, waited 4 more days and talked to Ron a few more timesNothing was done to fix the car. So after being threatened for the last time to REWIND the deal, we took him up on that threat. We didnt want to deal with them any longer. The only positive experience we had was picking up our down payment from this HORRIBLE dealership. We understand that they might not want to put any more money into this car, but we were promised these problems would be fixed. I consider myself a very patient person, if this car was going to take 2 weeks to be fixed, just tell me and keep me informed. This company has not once called us to tell us what is going on with the car. We have to call them to get answers, and when we do we are made to feel worthless. POOR Communication, HORRIBLE customer service!!!!!

We had a pleasant experience finding and purchasing our vehicle at McCloskey. Sonny and Chick were very professional, friendly and knowledgable. We really liked how easy it was to look at and test drive vehicles. Typically car buying is stressful, but this was quite the opposite. Setting up of financing was a synch. Props to Candace for making the review and signing of paperwork quick and easy. Additionally, this dealer kept their word in delivering the minor maintenance items we asked for on the vehicle we purchased. I would recommend this dealer to family and friends.

I was completely fed up with car dealerships and sales people. I had been searching for over a month for a vehicle that I wanted with a price I could accept. After several sales people gave me the run around or tried to talk me into vehicles that I didn't want I ended up at McClowsky Motors. Jarell was awesome, the slurppy run with we test drove the vehicle and waited on financing just made the expereince more relaxing and enjoyable.

As of today, 7-11-11, I cannot recommend this dealership. I thought they were upfront, honest and sincere, but it looks like I may have been fooled. I was sold a BRAND NEW car, I noticed a ding/scratch on the door and asked if there was another one on the lot, I was told yes but its white, I did not want a white car. The salesman told me, oh thats not a problem, we can fix that as good as new, and youll never even know it was there. I repeatedly asked if he was sure, and was assured it would be fixed as good as new. Ive taken the car in twice to be fixed now, both times the door was not fixed. Now Im supposed to bring it in again (in two days) so the same guy who tried the first time can do it again. Each time I have to bring my car in I need to impose on someone to follow me there, take me to work, then come get me from work and take me back to pick up the car. I truly feel like the people at the dealership feel that if they ignore me that I will give up and not make them honor their commitment to fix the car. I know a ding/scratch isnt a big deal in the overall picture, but why should I have a nasty 3 to 4 inch gouge on a brand new car.

i was looking for a cadillac for room and comfort. im 6ft 4in tall and wanted a car that fit me. i ended up getting a really nice car because i could not get financing for the car i wanted(cadillac).i got a really nice buick that was perfect in reliabilty and comforting to drive, but it had no leg rom for me and i got rid of it six months later because the front of the car was rubbing my leg and gave me a sore on the side of my calf. it became uncomfortable,as it irritated my leg more and more. so i got rid of it and looked for a bigger car.im going back to mcclosckey though, because the staff was very nice and friendly.

Great experience from working with Chick. He was knowledgeable about the cars we were looking for. He was patient as we sat in almost every car on the lot and drove quite a few. He worked hard at answering questions, getting information, obliging our requests. Nice guy to talk with, felt comfortable with him. Sonny did a great job at getting us great financing even though we had a bankruptcy on our credit. Candice was extra speedy with all the paperwork. We are very happy with the service we received and the friendliness of everyone we met. I will recommend them at every chance I get.

Let me see where do i start. Called dealership set up appointment for 5 days later. Get to dealership, vehicle not on lot, no one knew i was coming or where this pickup was. After some time salesman found vehicle. Drove to vehicle, it was getting seviced. No could find keys for vehicle. It turns out another salesman had taken them and not told any one. Vehicle was not ready for sale needed more prep work. extI live ove 300 miles from this dealership. Became discussed just wanted to leave, did just that. Next day received phone call from manager. Told him that vehicle was not ready for sale. He said he would investigate and get back to me, never called. Next day received email from asking me about my experience at dealership. Called number thought i would get independent company, it was back at dealership. Was put on hold twice and told manager would like to speak to me, they connected me. I got his voice mail. At this point i am really frustrated with experience. I would never recommend this dealer to my worst enemy. They have a calling system that does not get information to people and is manned by people who have little or no custumer service experience. They really dont care about about their customers. They area some small dealer who is trying to act big, but forgot about the customer.

Jarrel and Tori are amazing!! I would highly recommend going in and seeing them if you are considering a vehicle purchase. They worked on my deal for a week and at the end of it all we got into 2 used SUVs and are actually saving money with the new purchase. So if youre in the market, head down to TruckTown and ask for Jarrel!

Jarell was the first person to greet me when I came into the office. He was pleasant, cheerful and not at all like I had been experiencing all morning at other dealers - he was polite and he listened. He answered questions I asked about several vehicles and quickly arranged a test drive. I subsequently took the vehicle for my wife to see and drive. Then WE came to the office to seal the deal.Jarell professionally led us through the purchase process. Overall the experience was professional, pleasant and smoothe.

we just bought a Doge Ram from the McCloskey Truck store and both the truck and the people are awesome. We were helped right away by a salesperson named Darryl who took great care and took the time to really listen and then find a truck that worked for us. Even though we had some trouble with financing before their finance person Candace was really fast and did a great job on our loan! This is the first time we have actually had a good and fun shopping experience at a car dealership. If you need a truck or a car, I would send everyone to McCloskey Trucks!

This was the worst customer service i have ever experienced. These "sales people" know nothing about the car history nor do they care about the customer only their commission. After working in sales a long time, i know that good customer service leads to good commission. These guys, well they absoultly are terrible. me and my boyfriend went up on March/5/11 and were looking at a charger that online showed black rims and really fancy. When we get there we were advised the rims had been sold with a different car and perhaps we should look at something else,so we found a mustang whose tag said 2009 for 18,000 and come to find out it was actually a 2007 and was not worth that much. We put 500 dollars down and spoke with the financial ding bat who said the banks were closed but they would for sure know the following tuesday, so i called in and they said we did not get approved and that we would need to find something else. I ran a credit report on myself and my credit score was excellant for only being 18 and i happen to call the banks they ran my credit through. After reading the report they ran it through 4 different banks and three different times on three different cars. I called wells fargo and the other banks listed, and they stated they had been open on saturday and when i asked a rep if they had my name on file, one had said me and my boyfriend went through their bank three times. When i talked to a rep in Wells Fargo she stated that our credit had passed for the car the only thing problem was, the car was not worth that much and that they believe the car was wrecked. I ran the VIN number through car fax and it was sure enough true. The car had been wrecked twice and still over priced. This sweet rep also said that Mccloskey Motors is over priced and usually they will not take a car to finance from them unless the customer had really good 800 some what credit score. So now we have to take the car back and when i read my papers later it states that we will be charged 50 cents per mile 50 dollars per day. However we did tell the financial guy we did not want to take the car unless it was a for sure thing and he said it was and that not to worry. The actual sales man said we did get approved. On top of that we had stated we did not want the GAP protection because our insurrance still had something like that included in our plan and they still put it on claiming it was only six dollars and in reality it made our payment jump 40 dollars. So now we have to take the car back Saturday and for sure they are gonna recieve a piece of mind from me and since I am in sales myself, I know what social networking can do to a repuation. McCloskey Motors is absoulty the worse and they just love to con people and screw them over. In fact I have found a bunch of customers online who are willing to get together and start a huge complaint the BBB this company is not only a rip off but a huge F-------- Stay away from them and if your looking for a new car i suggest you try somewhere else. These people, are the Devils helpers and their lot is the devils nest. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. PS. complainers should file with BBB, they have a stack of complaints already. THANKS McCloskey for being liars and theifs.

I went to purchase a vehicle I saw on their website. I was completely honest with them about my credit, having a chapter 13 bankruptcy. I asked them if it would be possible to get a loan for the car, EVERYONE kept saying no problem. I took the car home, they told me my payments were going to be $342 a month and it would be due in 45 days... A week later they call and want my husbands information to add him to the loan. Then I noticed the headlight would shake when I hit bumps and then I went to clear off my windshield when there was dust and dirt on it and no fluid would come out. I tried to fill the fluid resevior and it poured straight through!! I took it to get serviced by them and they said they 'hoped' they fixed the headlight because the brackets were loose. The fluid pump to the windshield washer fluid was broke and they would have to talk to my salesman to see if they were going to replace it. Then a couple days later I get a call from the salesman telling me he got me approved by myself on the loan and to come in. I went in and he says he has good news and bad news..he got me a loan, but not on the 2007 vehicle with 69,000 miles, but on a 2002 vehicle with 108,000 miles!!! And they wanted me to drive the other vehicle home, I told him I just spent $40 filling up the tank. He let me take the 2007 vehicle home and said to drive all the gas out and bring it back tomorrow. I took it back all right and told him he could keep the 2002 and I wanted my $2000 down payment back. He said no problem and took my card and gave me a receipt that said REFUND at the top. I checked my balance 2 days later and the money is not there!!! I looked closer at the receipt and it says 'offline', so it wasn't even connected to the host when he ran my card!!!!! I've called and left a message for Dwight to call me back and he hasn't yet!!!!! Plus, I just found out, by JFR & Associates (A car dealership in Littleton) that by law I am suppose to contact the Trustee and get permission to take on more debt, first thing he said was "McCloskeys didn't tell you that?!!!" and there is a special form that needs to be filled out from the bankruptcy courts!!! I'm curious to how much trouble I would have been if they would have actually got me the loan!!!!! PLUS, they have a Land Rover on their website for $11,000 and when I first went there I asked why it was sooo cheap and they just said a bunch of bull and I just said ok whatever. Later when I asked about the Land Rover, Dwight told me the engine was blown - well guess what, it's still on the website for $11,000!!! Whatever you do, DO NOT GO TO MCCLOSKEYS!!!!!!!!!!! I had my car for 2 weeks before they told me that they couldn't finance me and by law they have 10 days!! I did my research and they broke allot of laws!!! DO NOT TRUST ANYONE THERE, NO MATTER HOW TRUSTWORTHY THEY SEEM!!!!! I wish I would have visited this website before I went in, I went in because of their stupid 'home feeling' commercial!!!

Dealership posted pic of a ford truck on craigslist. Called on truck was told it was still available. Drove 18 mi. to see that not only had they already sold the truck "upon opening same day" but that the picture of the truck on internet did not remotely resemble truck on lot. The two salesman couldn't even get their stories to match about when the truck sold. Truck on lot was a POS. Like they took a dealer pic of what that year truck looked like new and posted it on craigslist. Beware "the old bait and switch" trick. The salesmen acted, (rather badly), "stupid" like no one knew what was going on. Does the word crooked come to mind. What a shame in this economy that there are still co's out there doing bad business trying to screw the consumer. I will never recommend or do business with this company. They think they are secure but in this economy word travels and these salesmen and internet salesmen better watch out there are one hundred honest people waiting for your jobs.

We recently purchased a 2006 Toyota Rav 4 at McCloskey Motors. We worked with Elijah Gilmore and he was great at answering all of our questions and concerns. He was very informative and helpful through the buying process and after. Elijah kept in touch with us while the Rav 4 underwent a complete inspection, 2 new brake pads, 4 new tires, complete interior detail, and touch up paint on the exterior~ it seriously looks like a brand new Rav 4! A big thanks goes out to Elijah and McCloskey Motors for making this a very happy buying experience!

I just purchased my second vehicle from them in six months. The first was a 2006 Ford Focus for my 17 year old daughter. I had called ahead and let them know what I was looking for and about the car (POS) I wanted to trade. They treated my daughter with with the utmost respect since they knew if she was not happy we would not buy from them. They put her in the perfect car and she loves it.I just bought another vehicle form them this week and everyone was great, even when I called back the next day to tell them I forgot something in the truck I traded in, they said "No problem". Mike and the rest of the crew at McClosky are top notch in my book, did I mention that I am in sales and I know I can be a real hard *&& on other sales people, especially if they start the "slick Eddie" routine.

WHEN I FOUND THE TRUCK I WANTED at McCLOSKY MOTORS I SPOKE WITH WALTER FLOWERS (PRODUCT SPECIALIST) I TOLD HIM MY SITUATION AND ASKED HE HE COULD HELP? I HAD ALREADY CONCLUDED THAT WHAT I NEEDED DONE WAS NOT ATTAINABLE BUT I THREW IT OUT THERE ANYWAY. I TOLD WALTER THAT I WANTED A FAIR TRADE IN ON MY OVERLY MODIFIED DODGE DIESEL, GET ME OUT OF MY 2010 GTI LEASE AND GET ME A NO INCOME VERIFICATION LOAN ON THE REMAINDER OF WHAT I WOULD OWE ON THE TRUCK I HAD IN MIND.(10,000 FYI) I KNEW IN MY HEAD THAT THERE WAS NO WAY HE COULD PULL THIS OFF, BUT I WAS HAVING FUN. I LEFT THAT EVENING WITH AN OVERNIGHT TEST DRIVE ON THE TOYOTA TUNDRA THAT I WAS INTERESTED IN, WALTER SAID TAKE THE TRUCK FOR THE DAY WHILE HE WENT TO WORK ON MY TRADES. I WAS WORRIED THAT EVENING DO TOO THE FACT THAT I LOVED THE TUNDRA AND DIDNT WANT TO RETURN IT, BECAUSE I KNEW IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT ALMOST ALWAYS IS! TOO MY SURPRISE WALTER CALLED THE NEXT AFTERNOON AND TOLD ME THAT HE HAD SECURED TWO OF MY THREE REQUESTS(TRADE VALUE ON MY TRUCK at BUYOUT OF THE GTI LEASE) I WAS STUNNED! I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS HEARING. THE FOLLOWING DAY WALTER'S PARTNER TRAVIS CAMPBELL CALLED AND TOLD ME THAT MY LOAN HAD BEEN APPROVED AND MY TARGET PAYMENTS HAD BEEN MET, I WAS FLOORED! HOW DID THEY DO IT AND ON WHAT END WAS I GOING TO GET THE SHAFT.. WE FINISHED THE PAPERWORK AND IT WAS DONE. NO LIES,NO GAMES JUST STRAIGHT HONESTY FROM AN UPSTANDING DEALERSHIP.. P.S. I WILL BE BACK, AND SO WILL MY FAMILY BECAUSE MY OLD MAN STILL CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW I PULLED THIS OFF! LOLSINCERELY ONE VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!CHRIS

I appreciate them knowing my time was valuable and following up with card and phone call after the sale. I don't have buyers remorse with the deal I received as I had done my homework and feel that I got what I paid for. Thom was honest with me when I asked about the origin of the vehicle, when he could have evaded the question. TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, DISGRACE. This is the absolute WORST dealership I have ever worked with. I rarely take the time to comment on service, professionalism, quality of product, etc. however McClosky has done such a HORRIBLE job that they should be shut down and McClosky himself should be EMBARRASSED to carry the name of that company. They sold us a used vehicle that has been in the shop every 3-4 months over the last couple of years and an extended warranty that is good for absolutely nothing. Their service is horrible, nobody listens and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. They are confrontational, rude, and never work on solving your problem, only making excuses. If you're looking for a car - new or used - look elsewhere. You might pay less at McClosky upfront but I promise, you'll regret it in the long run.

This company is full of a bunch of snake oil salesmen. Just went in got the financing in place for a 2007 Honda Minivan. I drove it home on Friday afternoon. I should have known better when they changed the required down payment by $1,000 prior to financing. Needless to say they now want another $2,600 down. Thom McCloskey told us " Because you didn't buy the 2nd vehicle with us (we had another $5,000 put aside to buy a second vehicle for my husband) the bank will require another $2,600 to get approved." When Tori the financial manager came in to talk to us we told her what Thom said and he told us that we were lying. Our saleman was Walter Flowers....another dishonest person. When they brought back the car that we had traded in, it had white writing all over the front windshield. I asked Thom if he could wash it off for us and he said..."Yeah I'll get right on that." And walked away laughing. Needless to say my husband spent almost an hour cleaning it off when we got home. Stay away from this company!!! I used to think that McCloskey was a great dealership until my radio went out in November of 2009. My vehicle was still under warranty, and they said all radios were on back order. Well, it is now 6 months later, and still no radio. I have called countless times, left messages, ( that have never been returned ) been there twice, and was told it would only be about another week. That was about 7 weeks ago. When I call from work, all of my co-workers are stunned to hear that it still hasn't been replaced. ( when they hear this and comment on it,it's bad for your business) I know that they are hoping I just give up and walk away, but I refuse to give up. I will keep trying to get what I paid for until I no longer have this vehicle. When I do decide to trade this in, I wouldn't even consider going back to McCloskey. (nor would I ever recommend them)

I LEFT FEELING VERY MUCH BETTER ABOUT THE ENTIRE PURCHASE. MY INITIAL FEELINGS OF FRUSTATION WERE GONE, AND I DO BELIEVE THESE ARE GOOD PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH. We asked for the price on a vehicle and the answer was "What kind of monthly payments are you looking at?" That did not answer the question. We knew our dollar limit, all we wanted to know was the asking price on the vehicle so we would know if we could make a deal or if we needed to look at something else. This would avoid wasting the salesperson's time and our time, which by the way it took us a total of 8 hours to close a deal with your dealership. That is totally rediculous. To make matters worse we had to drive two 150 mile round trips to purchase the vehicle.During the application process we had to sign the "BILLY JOEL AGREEMENT" and write a statement on how good our credit is. Those are two of the most stupid pieces of paper we have ever filled out in our lives. We did let the salespeople know how we felt about the stupid things we had to do for a vehicle with your dealership. To make things worse, we had our own financing. We asked for a couple of things to be fixed, minor items, was told ok. When I stopped by last night to pick up the vehicle I was told "the repairs are not done until you receive the money from the finance company." Tori personally spoke with the credit union three days earlier, confirmed loan approval, what else do you want, blood? Now to have the two minor items repaired I will have to make a trip back to Colorado Springs and spend the day at your dealership with absolutely NO transportation. I asked Joe Jr. if the was a loaner vehicle or could I be given a ride to somewhere, or could the vehicle be picked up and returned to a certain location. His response was you did not have loaner vehicles, and he didn't think I could be shuttled because you didn't have enough people in the service department to accomidate my request. Well my suggestion is take one of the 15 salespeople you had standing around like a bunch of starving vultures and give them something to do for 15 minutes.Do you want me to continue, or have you heard enough? Trust me I can rant on for another hour about the customer service, or should I say "lack of". I will never recommend you or will I ever do business with your dealership again.

The dealership saved my life.. They saved me from making a huge mistake at one of those normal car dealer types. I have since sent my mother, grand mother and every relative within 500 miles and they have all been ver pleased with them. I bought a used Suzuki and was frankly a little timid about the idea. Now I am so greatfull that I made that decision. I just get my head filled with so much junk when I visit these dealerships that I can't tell up from down and so I took a lead of faith as their story was very different from what I heard from other delaerships. Bottom line is you can drop off your infant with these people and it will be perfectly safe. Thanks agian for the great service and stupid low price.. David Potts

I was looking for a vehicle that was good for winter driving, but everywhere I looked shopping was not a pleasant experience - until I got to McCloskey Motors. The vehicle I purchased, the Suzuki Grand Vitara is a small SUV, just the right size for me - and I love many of the features, especially the keyless entry and driving with the SmartKey - and the 4WD is great. The salesman was very knowledgeable and pleasant, without being pushy - and everyone was very helpful and made the purchase fairly effortless. Since that time, working with the Service Department has been very easy, especially with Anna Marie helping along the way. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my McCloskey experience.jan555

We had gone to several different dealerships trying to find a vehicle that we would be able to finance and that would be a comfortable vehicle for us. After working with Richard at McCloskey motors we found the perfect vehicle. We were set up with monthly payments that were reasonable. I would definatly recommend McCloskey's they were courteous and really understood what we needed and what was best for us. Thanks for everything!

First, went out to speak to a guy about a car. After badgering me for 20 minutes, telling me that he could for sure get me financed, I allowed him to run my bureau. Then they tell me they have financing lines up, on a 50% chance of approval??!! They continued by telling me that they would submit my application to three financial institutions, each AGAIN running my credit. I have NEVER had a dealership run my credit FOUR TIMES for a car purchase. Beware of McCloskey Motors!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to this dealer 5 weeks ago. It was the worst experince of my life. They gave me the run around for 4 weeks. They let me take a car with no bank approval. Then when it came time to get our deposit back. I had to drive to springs and no one new where the money was nor could I get a return call. They lead you to belive the car is yours. At first I thought it was a little to good to belive. It was. Don't was your time on the colorado car credit website. Its all one big joke.

I went to McCloskey Suzuki 3 times in one week. There was no vehicles on the lot that I like the 1st time, the 2nd time the guy told me to come back in 2 days and he would have the vehicle that I wanted on the lot, told me about it, gave me the info (miles, trim ect). so that I could look it up and check insurance info. So I went back 2 days later to be told that the car that I was suppose to be brought down from Co.Springs for me was sold, they didn't bother to call me to tell me this (however they didn't have a problem calling me twice a day about getting financing) So when I show up on the 3rd day to see the car after I was told it wasn't there, I was passed between 3 sales people. I didn't even go out to the lot and the last sales person said "i want you to drive this car" so I complied. While driving she had no basic information about the car (price, quality, how many owners.) After driving the car I asked out much it was and it was $7,000 more that I told the 1st and 2nd salesman I was willing to spend. Even after I said I didn't think they had any vehicles that I like the salesman still tried to ask for my social sec. number to check financing even though I told them ALL several times I already had financing in place, I was looking for a specific car. I was so put off by the unprofessionalism and vulture like approach of the salesman that I promptly went across the street to SouthWest Motors and purchase my car within 30 minutes, and they even offered to see if they could get me better financing terms even though I had financing available. And they did. You should walk across the street and take notes on their business.

I bought a car in august of 2008. they couldnt get financing on the car for almost a month. soon enough the rear tires went bald. i went to get it checked out and the had 11" wide tires on the left side and 10" on the right side. on top of that they had put tires that werent wide enough for the rims (really unsafe and illegal) we contacted them and they sent us a check for new tires. of course this would only cover the cost of what they would pay for tires (way cheaper than the normal comsumer) i got 2 tires and purchased 4 new rims to replace the odd sized ones (out of my pocket). 500 miles later the inside of the rear tires are now bald. we take it to a certified ford dealer and they cant even align the car! so we contact mcCloskey motors and they say to get it checked at a body repair shop. we do. the cross member, lower control arm, and rear axel housing are all bent. not to mention the replacement body panel on the left rear which had orange peel feel to the paint when we bought it. but they assured us "it has never been wrecked." bullshit. now we are trying to resolve this issue. unfortunately, i am 18, then 17 when i bought it, and have invested around 2000 dollars in parts and performance. i will never see the money. and we have been resolving this issue for 4 months and the entire p.o.s. that they sold us for about 7 months now. mccloskeys is now trying to say we wrecked the car and we had an aquintance or someone we know look at the car and determine the damage. hey mccloskeys-take responsibility for your mistakes, suck it up and shut the hell up! thanks mccloskeys for screwing over a kid. never buy from these frauds, besides im not the only one that has been screwed by this dealership. piss the right fucking off mccloskey's!

MILTARY and RETIREES BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MCCloskey Motors is a dealership that will stick it to you. Not only did the customer service suck, but three weeks ater driving a vehicle that they put me in, I was contacted about a down payment! Yes, three weeks later. Never mind that I had been in the dealership, say two times...no mentioning, and never mind I had the vehicle serviced there (gas cap)...no mentioning! Somehow, after I "got approved" for my loan, the loan didn't go through? And after the harassing phone calls, people coming by my home etc, I looked over the fine print, and low and behold, they WERE requesting a down payment! Now, riddle me this Ghost Rider..What dealership EVER lets a consumer leave the lot without paying them a negotiated down payment? Hmmm. But these crooks, somehow, approved me for the loan, had me sign paperwork with the sleezy finance officer, drive the car for weeks, THEN come after me for a down payment. And it wouldn't have been an issue had someone called and said that they flubbed up. I would have graciously given them the requested amount. But they wanna call ME acting like I did THEM some disservice? Negative...I was happy to give them the car back and told them to "Kiss My Grits!" while I was at it...

These people are liars and cheats. They will try to go around the law, I spent three months and close to a thousand dollars to get the vehicle LEGAL. I am in the process of taking further legal action against McCloskey motors. Avoid this dealership at all costs. This many negative reviews enforces my point, they need to the their license revoked.

McCloskey motors sold us a car that had been in a severe auto accident and they did not disclose this to us at the time of the sale. Not only did they not disclose it, they lied and said it had not been in an accident when we asked about it. This is a violation of Colorado law and we made them aware of this. Unfortunately we found out about the accident almost a year after we purchased the car but that didnt stop us. We contacted the dealership and we dealt with the General Manager, Jeremy, whom I must say is not very professional, at all! During our discussion he put his hand in my face as an attempt to tell me to stop talking. This is not to mention the fact he thought it was appropriate to yell at us although we were the victims in the situation. Be careful with the arbitration agreements that car dealerships try to make you sign. This technically gives up your right to sue the dealership or take them to court. Justice can still be reached between the two parties but it is done through an arbitrator. We did not have to get to this point because we were very prepared and did our research. The laws state that what they did was wrong. If a car has been in a severe auto accident, it must be disclosed whether you ask or not! This dealership failed significantly in their attempt to scam us and I am proud to say that we won this one. I hope this never happens to anyone else but all of the information is out there for you to find so if something like this does happens to you make sure to do your research. We had no legal help but our hard work paid off. Moral of this story: DO NOT BUY FROM MCCLOSKEY MOTORS, well unless you want to be scammed! This is only a fraction of the entire story and their unaccommodating services but I think this is enough to avoid the dealership for good.

Like the saying say "third time is a charm" Well not quite. I recently purchased my third vehicle from McCloskey Motors and I was delighted because I have dealt with them previously also because of the type of vehicle I bought a 2004 Lincoln Navigator with only 55000 miles. I purchased this vehicle on August 30, 2008. Price was reasonable,I love this vehicle, only problem I had at that time was that I did not get my manufacture floor mats my salesman DJ told me I would received. Today is Dec 11,2008 and I have a big problem because my Navigator that I love so much has been at McCloskey's repair shop since Dec 1,2008. It's been a little over three months now I have this vehicle and now discover there is a huge problem which is being worked on as of this moment. I kept hearing a loud noise, sounded like a had a flat tire, checked to see but that was not it. On Dec 1st I was driving home on hwy 25 and the noise was even louder, tried to exit hwy but the car start losing speed was trying to stall in the middle of the road, I finally pulled over safely and had my vehicle towed. I was told that the front differential had came apart. Checked with a few local mechanics and they told me that "this is not suppose to happen in Lincoln Navigator and I'm very fortunate to have my life" Mike the service mgr has been outstanding is getting my vehicle repair but there has been some set back because the wrong part was ordered so it delayed the repair process plus an adjuster had to visit the location so see what had occurred. Matt Cisneros however was not very helpful. I'm a single mother, I went to him and informed him of the issues I was having and requested another vehicle until the work on my vehicle was completed, this was 2 days after my vehicle arrived at the shop and he showed NO sympathy, in fact I was so disappointed I left the dealership in tears. Well I never thought 11 days later I will be out of a vehicle but that's the case. So much is going on, I did purchase the extended warranty thank God but I'm having to fight with the company to cover the rental expense which will be about 14-15 days, I still have to pay car payment, insurance, the deductible and I've already paid $250 for rental which should be reimburse soon. My total for transportation alone this month will be around $1000.00

10/25/08 went to meet my husband to look at some vehicles. mind you i had just spent several hours at the dealership about a month ago. My husband and i have bought 3 cars previously from Mccklosky. From the moment we walked in the door some guy pulled out a book and started the scam. the deal where you pay 300.00 a month for 2 years for 7200.00 and 21% interest. they had the nerve to show us a raggedy car with 100,000 miles and seem to get flustered and suprised when we didn't even want to waste our time anymore with them. We will not discuss the treatment given with the last purchase. Anyway with the oprevious purchase i dealt with almost everyone iun the building and this time not one of them acknowledged us as a customer which really says something abot your customer service policies. If i have to walk i will never deal with your dealership again. And remember word of mouth will move in this town pretty fast. People work hard for their money and i think it is really a shame that Mr&Mrs. MCcklosky are making commercials as if they care about their customers.

Where do I begin. First of all the person we had a scheduled meeting with was not even there when we got there. They had sent him to Pueblo to do something else. Then we get another guy who was supposed to be our original salesperson's partner and he said he would help us. NOT! He then handed us off to another guy that got all our information and showed us a couple vehicles. After we saw the last vehicle, we were then handed off to yet another salesperson! After about 2 hours we had spoken with one of the sales managers and he told us that he had gotten us approved and we were set to go. We singed papers but were unable to give the $1500 upfront. We set a promise to pay date 7 days after the initial purchase and were good to go. We drove out of there thinking everything was fine. WRONG AGAIN!!! 1 month later we get a phone call telling us that they were UNABLE TO SECURE FINANCING and we had to bring the vehicle back in or we'd have to give an additional $2500! We were not able to give the $2500 so we decided to take the vehicle back. Now during our initial conversation we were told that upot returning the vehicle we would receive the $1500 back. YET ANOTHER LIE!! We were charge $50 and $.50 per mile for every day we used the vehicle. Since they waited an ENTIRE MONTH before calling to let us know they couldn't get the financing, we ended up losing the $1500 and having to pay them and additional $500!!! My advice to anyone dealing with these people is to make sure your financing is secured before you leave the dealership.

steve was very nice..but the young man who supposedly is in charge of internet sales wasnt very personable and seemed to talk down to me ...i was at this dealership for over 3 hours..they tried to sell me a 2002 toyota 4 runner for almost 20,000....i didnt qualify beyond the deal they wanted to give me of 1500 down , and my truck..and a payment of 560.00 per month..my credit isnt good..however; this was a horrible experience..they then had me go over to the other dealership on s. academy..and offered me a 96 ford windstar..they would finance me..7200.00 at 300.00 per month for 24 months..at 21% interest..which was another 6,000...for a 96 ford windstar mini van..i didnt fall out of a tree and hit my head...nor do i have stupid imprinted on my forehead..i am an educated woman...and felt i was treated less than human because i was a woman by myself...i understand them not being able to get me financing..but im sure it didnt take over 3 hours for them to know this..but i sat there and sat there..and then they tried to get me to take this peice of garbage minivan; it was like they were trying to break me down so id jump like butter on popcorn at this "great" deal they would make me ... im not this desperate and i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone..

First off, I filled out a 10% discount coupon on the website, bigjoeauto. It did not say that after you left you name and phone number, that you would get a flood of calls from these people even though after the first time thaey called you asked them not to call again. This one female called everyday for a week. I wanted to see the car I was interested in at the Academy Blvd. dealership. I pulled into the parking lot, stepped out of my car had one foot out car door and I was attacked by the vultures. These people would not leave me alone. I will never... ever go back again. I wanted to write this to warn everyone... STAY AWAY! Don't let those stupid TV spots fool you. These people are in it for one thing. I'm going to Phil Long!

I went to McCloskey after dealing with Phil Long Ford. My credit is not the best. Phil Long wanted me to put $5000.00 down and stick me with 21% intrest on a 2006 Mustang costing $13,995. I went online and found a 2004 silver convertable Mustang for $12,644. I went in and Omar met me at the door. I told him that I was looking at the 2004 Mustang, and if he could get me financed I would be interested in getting it. I told Omar that I would not be interested in anything else on there lot. He got right to work on it. ran my credit. He never mad me feel bad about my credit sitiuation. He asked me what I would be able to put dowwn. I told him $2000. He talked to his manager (Jeff). It was very quick. He came back with some numbers. I had to put down $3,700. I told them all I had was $2000.00. Omar went to his manager. When he came back he said that they would take the $2000.00 down and they would give me 3 weeks to get the other $1700.00. After I agreed to that. It was a done deal. The best part of this deal was handled by Rick in the finance dept. He shopped around for the Rate he could get for me. It took him 3 days. He was able to get me a great rate. I was shocked that he got me 12.99% from a local credit union. The next day the back passenger window would not roll down. I took it to McClosky service dept. They fixed the problem at no charge.

Went to dealer after another tried to charge 23% interest and we refused. Took about 3 hours, had the perfect vehicle, a little higher price than expected, but hey, the vehicle had been modified by previous owner, was awesome, we had finance papers signed and finished with awesome interest rate, 1300.00 down, walked out very pleased with everything! About a week later the vehicle started making a noise, called dealer & had repair shop call within the hour to schedule check, they took care of everything, plus gave free service for year! Understand that everyone doesn't have perfect experiance, but we had great service, was very satisfied and WILL be going back SOON~

I will never, ever recommend McCloskey Motors to anyone. I purchased a used car from them and had the car for 2 weeks. I then received a phone call stating that they could not arrange financing for that particular car, and I needed to purchase a 2002 or newer model. The car I originally purchased was an 01 model. I made it very clear to them that I could not afford payments over $200.00 per month. I was then sold an 06 model with a payment of $325 per month. I was told that was the ONLY vehicle they could arrange financing for. If I didn't buy the car, I would be liable for the original car I purchased to the tune of $50.00 per day and .50 cents per mile. After purchasing the car, I looked up Kelly Blue Book (yes, should have done that before) and I paid well over $1,000 more than the Kelly Blue Book. I also found the original registration for the car in with the owner manual only to discover the original purchase price (brand new) was over $2,000 less than what I paid! I took the vehicle back to the dealership the very next day to discuss the situation and try to renegotiate the price based on the info I had. I was told to basically take my paperwork and hit the door. I have NEVER been treated so rudely and disrespectfully in my life ~ especially while making such a major purchase. I told them that I was going to leave the car, didn't want it and certainly didn't want to do business with them. I was told they would have the vehicle towed to my house! These people are scoundrels and live up to the bad rap that used car salesman so deserve!!! Don't even think about purchasing ANYTHING from these rip off artists!!

Bring a Tape Recorder if you find yourself having to do business with this dealership. We went to purchase a vehicle end of Sept, signed the paperwork on one 29th of Sept, did not hear from them until I called to check on what was going on with my trade payoff being that I was receiving threating phone calls from my previous creditor. NO RESPONSE ..Finally a Manager from a different location contacted me. Saying this was a miscommunication...? NO it was neglectful service. I am livid at this point in time. It has been 3 weeks and the dates the Manager at the other location was throwing out did not even match the dates on my paperwork. He told me to read the contract but that does not matter..If you run a business and you have people lying about things and then you just fall back on a little clause..DOES NOT WORK. NOT GOOD BUSINESS. I was informed that they had not even found a loan, they have not attempted to pay off my vehicle and they were trying to work a deal that night..3 weeks later. Somthing needs to be done about these practices and how these people deal with others. Criminal and Cold. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP.

I went to McCloskey motors during one of the huge sales events at the World Arena. The actual day of my purchase everything went very well. Both Joe McCloskey, Jr. and Mike Phillips were very nice and very professional. Because the transaction happened later on Saturday night we were not able to secure financing. I was told by Mr. Phillips to visit the dealership on Monday and we would sort everything out. So, on Monday I made the 42 mile drive from my home to McCloskey Motors only to find that Mr. Phillips was not there. I was asked to come back the next day. So, the next day I made the long trip again and Mr. Phillips told me that he couldn't help me because he hadn't heard back from the financing company yet, and that he would call me when he needed me again. I was frustrated at this point and decided I would take matters into my own hands and attempt to arrange financing on my own. So, I went to my own bank and got a quote on a loan. I didn't get the loan at that time, however, as I felt it appropriate to contact the dealership first. So, I placed a phone call to Mr. Phillips and left him a voice mail. I called every day for 4 weeks without any response. So, I made the 42 mile drive to the dealership again and was told face to face that they probably weren't going to be able to get financing for me and that I would have to return the car and pay the huge fees for the mileage on it. I told him that I had my own financing and that I would arrange for payment to be made before the end of the week. So, the day before I was to go finalize the loan with my own bank I receive a phone call from one of the people I had listed as a reference. Mr. McCloskey had called and left a message on their phone stating that they were going to report my car stolen because I had not arranged for financing on the vehicle. He also said that it was my responsibility to find financing because my credit score was too low for them. He then went on to state my credit score on the phone message. So, I called the dealership asking what was going on. Mr. Phillips stated that I had not answered the phone over the previous three weeks when they had been calling and that they had reported my car as stolen. The only contact telephone number they had for me was my cell phone number and I checked my statements. No call had been received from any of the listed dealership numbers or from the cell phones of Mr. Phillips or Mr. McCloskey and my statements show any call that I answer or that goes to my voice mail. I called him back and explained this to him. He then proceeded to tell me that it must be my lucky day because he had just secured financing for me, but that I had to drop a check off to him before close that day or my account would be charged a late fee. So, I get into my vehicle, drive the 42 miles AGAIN and drop off a check to him. This company violated the law numerous times throughout our interactions and truly made me regret doing business with them. Do yourself a favor and don't make the same mistake that I did!
