I was 45 minutes early. You took my car anyway. I went to the very comfortable lobby with 3 working desks and I was able to work on my laptop and paperwork while vehicle was being serviced. I figured it would take 2 hrs. I was wrong. My vehicle was done 5 minutes after my original appointment time. Very polite and professional.

I spoke to"mary" in the service department who made me feel like i had already been a customer when i needed to schedule an appt for a 2013 toyota that i leased in another state.I walked in early to my appt and was greeted friendly by the service staff . I was taken good care of and even given a ride home as my truck needed more time.I met Don Berkeley and the rest is history. We drove a few differnt cars and I actually felt like we were family when i pulled away in my new suv.Jay in finanace was extremely helpful and walked me through the procees of my payments, and even convienced me to add 120k warrenty on my new suv. Excellent customer care, and honest folks. Had an issue with my truck, which I thought was caused by previous work done a month ago. After checking it out, mechanics found that it was something else but it was still unclear if something they did may have caused it or could have been coincidence, so they ended up doing the work and not charging me. Honestly if they had told me the issue and said it would cost x amount, I wouldnt have argued. Really great folks.

I usually wait for my car when I'm having routine maintenance done. I appreciate that my car is taken on time, there is a nice place to wait for your car and the service writers are VERY nice.

I must tell you that I had tried to purchase a 2016 Prius 4 from another dealer. I had to order it and when I was notified on May 6th the delivery date it would be July before it would come I started looking again. While it was not the color I ordered I found that Mechanicsville Toyota had just gotten in a WHITE Prius 4. I called and reached Zak Lewis a salesman and he told me it was still available. I when over that afternoon and they beat the deal I was getting from the other dealer and delivered the new car in three hours. That is three hours from time I arrived until I drove out with the new car. It was a wonderful experience and I could never say that about any experience in the past. I am grateful for the pleasant way I was approached and deal with, the "can do" spirit of the dealership and the spirit of meeting me where I needed to be price wise. It was not where I most wanted to be but it was not where they wanted to be. But the spirit is what was different. Pleasant and comfortable not hard, angry or pushy. GREAT PLACE and GREAT PEOPLE.

I liked the options presented to me and the fact that the salesman Marvin appeared to want to make a deal but wasn't pushy. He wanted my business and wanted to find a way to make it work. I spent a whole week looking for a car all over town... averaging 4 hrs of sleep/day! Honestly, there are so many dealers out there that play games and try to rob you... but NOT this one! Hello folks... I was looking for just basic transportation, and after coming across so many "thieves" in the car business, I landed at Mechanicsville Toyota. A testament to "seek and you shall find"... My salesman, Dave White, was really great! He listened to me and we found exactly what I wanted. A 2002 Toyota Camry. I had never owned a Toyota before, but the awesome reviews from hundreds of previous owners swayed me into the purchase. I love the car already. It has an awesome, smooth ride and it's really great on the gas. It has 157k miles, yet runs like new! Wow!John Grace, the finance manager, was awesome! He sold me the car way below the advertised price and BELOW market value (according to kelly's Blue Book)... and I did not even ask... amazing! My experience at this dealership far exceeded my expectations. The two people I deal with (Dave White (salesperson) and John Grace (finance manager)) were just awesome and I recommend you seek them out by name! We purchased a Camry XLE from Mechanicsville Toyota. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Don Berkeley helped us through the entire purchase process, he was very friendly, helpful, and above all knowledgable. He never pressured us into any particuliar direction or vehicle and was patient. We test drove many cars (Rav4, Avalon, Camry -4 cylinder and 6). Don kept bringing cars to us as we waffled with our decision. We laughed and joked and he made it feel like it was not an issue if we just kept pondering our decision. I can honestly say Don was a great guy to work with. I purchased a 2015 Toyota Corolla from this dealership. It is the smoothest ride! This is the fourth Toyota I have owned. I was unhappy with the last one since it was built during the period at Toyota when they had given up their high quality controls. So I was reluctant to purchase another Toyota. However, Mechanicsville Toyota convinced me I should try the "new Toyota" and the "new" quality controls. I did and I love my car! I believe now that Toyota is making every effort to restore their reputation as the leading car manufacturer. I can't tell you how happy I was with your dealership's service. I originally found your dealership from carguru, where I contacted your sales department via the internet. Dave White responded very promptly and professionally to my inquiry. I live 2 hours north so I was apprehensive about coming down to look at the vehicle I was interested in. Fortunately for me Dave was very nice and honest with me regarding my questions about the vehicle, so I felt comfortable enough to drive a 4 hour round trip. Glad I did, Dave was great in person and the vehicle was just as described. I purchased it! Additionally after the sale Dave was able to find a part that the previous owner had (Center Seat $800) and contact me and give it to us. He had already sold the vehicle and didn't need to do that. Bought a used Mustang from them. I've purchased many new and used vehicles over the years, this has been my best experience EVER, almost too smooth. I have also driven the vehicle 1000 miles and it was used, not one problem everything is in awesome condition. Looked for over a month and every dealership/individual were out of there minds on price. Called on a saturday morning told them what I would pay for the vehicle, arrived they even gave me $500 off because tires were so so and I have 3 kids. Was in and out of the dealership (test drive, registration) in an hour. Even the waiting area (theater, kids room, snack bar) were amazing. My husband and I who are FORD loyal said "so this is how they treat people if you buy a Toyota huh".

Had a 10 am appointment for my first 5000 mile checkup, which included tire rotation. Arrived at 9:55 and was greeted by service advisor, James Beach. First of all it was the easiest car buying time I have had! Don's name was given to me by a friend who has bought cars from him in the past. There was no sales pitch at all Don answered questions I had but let me lead the way ( a lot of sales men in the past have tried to lead me). Don was in contact with me through out the 2 days of buying the FJ and Did not mind the 200 tex msg that I sent him. Jay in finance was great, he worked hard and stayed in touch with the different loans he came up with (we didn't have the Best credit for him to work with). In the past few years I have bought used cars and trucks from private owners because of the car buying experiences I have had at dealerships. Mechanicsville Toyota has changed that for me!

I rated my experience at Mechanicsville Toyota with 5's because Jamie made me feel connected to this dealership at the start of our telephone conversation. He obtained crucial information, identified my needs and let me know right away about existing inventory that should meet my needs. He told me how much I would save on gasoline annually and invited me to the showroom. Upon arriving, I was received cordially by the entire staff that I encountered and Jamie received me as though we had known each other for years. Jamie and John teamed together and did everything possible to make my desires and need to own a new vehicle come true. They are knowledgeable, patient, informative, cordial, and very professional. I was accompanied by my three energetic grandsons and the staff did not seem to mind their presence. We were offered bottled water. I am very pleased with the service and very excited about my Prius. I told several people at church today that they should car shop at Mechanicsville Toyota and to ask for Jamie.

He followed up with me in an appropriate manner and kept me informed on the progress of the sale during the two weeks it took to track down the vehicle I wanted to purchase. Best car buying experience I have ever had. I almost left several times to go buy a used truck from one of your competitors, because I just didn't think a new truck would fit my budget. Jaime was excellant. He was a 'straight shooter'. We asked for his best price over the internet so as not to waste our time, and he came through.When we test drove the car there was no pressure,only information. He kept in touch while we slowly decided on what car and which dealership to use.We did not appreciate the 'hard sell' to buy an extended warranty, and the incorrect information that it had to be purchased that night.As it turns out ,you can shop for the toyota extended warranty long after your purchase ,and that can be done over the internet as well.

This was my first time ever looking to buy a new truck at a dealership.I got plenty of online quotes and talked to several salesman from various dealerships from Toyota,Ford,and Chevy and was very impressed with the Toyota Tacoma features and the competive price. Despite the internet service being rather impersonal to start, Jamie and his management reached out to me through email and over the phone. Dave and I had a wonderful time on Saturday, August 25, 2012. From the first offer of a test drive weeks before, through my arrival at 9:00am and the final signature on the sales agreement around 4:00pm, Dave was the friend I had always known, but had never met. He took ownership of the sale and made it his own, not just Toyota's. He was both informative and friendly throughout the day, answering all of my questions, sometimes the same question more than once, and demonstrated a depth of knowledge concerning the various trim levels I was considering for purchase that can only be found in someone who truly loves their job. The weather could not have been worse - and Dave could not have been more gracious - from the moment I arrived until the minute I drove away in my new Camry XLE. With rain pouring down, Dave never lost his sense of humor and volunteered to stand in the rain with me while I walked around the same car I must have already walked around three times before. When it came to the price, Dave took my concerns into consideration and prepared an offer that was both respectful and fair. There was nothing to say except, "Thank You" and begin the paperwork. And then you know what he did? He thanked me! It meant more to hear that than I'm sure he realized; we continued our laughing banter that had cemented our new friendship, convinced that both Dave and Toyota valued me as more than just a customer. Could not have asked for a better buying experience. Quick and excellent customer service from both the Jamie the salesman and Johm the finance guy. Neither were pushy and I appreciated that. I can not express how pleased I am with my experience with this dealer in the process of purchasing my new 2012 Camry. From the 1st call to Mechanicsville Toyota and speaking with Anthony Thomas things could not have been easier. I will continue to give them my business for many years to come for service of my Camry and in the future purchase of any new car. They truly do have the concept of making the customer experience top of the line and the goal of keeping you as a future customer as a priority. I had a very pleasant experience at Mechanicsville Toyota. I felt comfortable and never pressured. The staff was professional, curteous and kind. They made me feel welcome. Dave even sent my car back to be washed and detailed twice until it was done correctly. The airbag light was illuminated so the service department fixed it immediately and my car was available the next day. I will definitely buy my next car from Mechanicsville Toyota. I don't know if this is important but I wanted a second Infiniti but the Infiniti dealership would not finance me. Mechanicsville Toyota financed me and I found my dream car. Thank you!

Dave was very friendly and helpful and worked with us in staying within our budget, but still getting the car that we wanted. He was not pushy, had a good sense of humor, and made us feel comfortable. Pleasurable buying experience - would highly recommend to a friend!! :)

Mr. Snead worked hard for my wife and I and answered all of our questions. My wife and I purchased a Camry from Mech. Toyota in 2001. We had a very good experience then,so we decided to buy our Tundra Limited there as well. Our salesperson (Dave White) was waiting for us when we arrived. He took the time to show us what we were looking for and he let us take the truck out for a test drive. He is a very capable salesperson and he was truly interested in what we needed. He was an absolute pleasure to work with! Our buying experience was stress free. John Grace was the finance manager who helped us with our financing. He was enjoyable to work with, also. He took the time to fully explain all the fine details in financing our truck. A most pleasurable experience. Most knowledgeable salesman ever who spent considerable time educating us on the proper operation of our car and all the technology that it comes with. Dave spent over an hour with us and was incredible. I will recommend everyone I know to use Mechanicsville Toyota and particularly Dave White. It was worth the 100 mile drive from the DC area where all the dealers/sales people would not spend much time with us and the ones who could explain anything were not knowledgeable nearly as much as is Dave. I feel Mechanicsville Toyoya suck the customer service is bad I called to tell the manger about my concerns and the manger hug up the phone in my face. My car has so many dents and dings I was pressured to buy the car I was told by the sales manger it was a good deal i need to buy the that night because the bank was closed and they could play with the numbers. I feel they tell you they will fix things that you find wrong with the car please get it in writting they will turn it around and go back on their word and have a nerve to ask you did you get the repair or agreement in writting. I will never buy a car from Mechanicaville Toyota I do not recommend any one to buy a car from this company unless you like being taken advantage of!

We came to Mechanicsville Toyota having had a traumatic experience at another dealership. Everyone we encountered at Mechanicsville was helpful, sympathetic and professional. We were treated with great respect and felt our business was important but that were more important. We were not rushed or pressured. Followup has been friendly but not overbearing. When I returned to the showroom during a service visit I was greeted warmly by those I had dealt with but also by others on the floor. It was a welcoming environment and was greatly appreciated.Based on our experience so far, I will not hesitate to recommend Mechanicsville Toyota, and especially Dave White, to my friends.Thank you for turning what had been an awful experience into a pleasant and rewarding one. I came to Mechanicsville Toyota mainly to look at the 2012 Camry Hybrid.My intentions were not to purchase a vehicle. Jamie was the salesman that assisted me and showed me the Camry SE, compared differences, explained how the hybrid works and walked out to the lot to show the differences between the Camry Models.I ended up putting a deposit down on a 2012 Camry Hyrbid and picked up my vehicle 2 days later.Jamie kept me informed of the vehicle that was locate for me and the car was ready when promised.

Dave White is a great sales rep at Mechanisville Toyota. Dave knows how to deal with customers with patience and professionalism and humor added in for good measure. Dave is of the listening type knowing his game plan thoroughly in converting a prospect to a customer. On price negotiation, his Manager Wayne, who helped me close the deal on used Honda Odyssey four years ago, agreed to my price I offered for the used Toyota Rav4 Limited eventually. Both Wayne and Dave have been profoundly service-oriented and entertained my business and I thank them a great deal.The Toyota Rav4 I purchased on 20th March 2012 has just one month warranty. I expected at least three month's warranty on it. The vehicle is running great but for a small squeaking and rattling noise near the cargo area. I'll have to drive it back to the dealer for a quick check and repair. Overall, I am satisfied with the wonderful service offered by Dave and Wayne.Thank you.Ravish

Jamie was extremely knowledgeable not only on the Camry but on several of the models we were also shopping, but not in a negative way. He was not high pressure but very good at making us feel comfortable throughout the process. Don, while a little too talkative given the late time, was very friendly and knowledgeable in all aspects of his job.

Dave was great about going over the car with us. He demonstrated the voice commands and went on a test drive with us to answer questions and point out features along the way. Don was friendly as well and went over the potential options available to us, being descriptive, but not pushy.

David White, our salesman, and the the entire Mechanicsville Toyota team that I dealt with, made this the best new car-buying experience I have ever had. The price of the car was excellent and there were no handoffs and no haggling with sales managers. The car I was looking for, a Toyota Avalon, was selected one evening. The next morning David had the paperwork all ready and the car was spit-shined and waiting for me to drive it home. The paperwork process took a minimum amount of time, yet every detail was thoroughly explained. After the paperwork process was completed, David took me to the car and explained all of the bells and whistles with which I was unfamiliar. He even took time to set up the blue tooth feature for my cellphone. A final discussion about an extended warrenty, which was given by a sales manager, was professionally presented with no high pressure tactics whatever. My wife, who was with me, especially appreciated the tour that David gave us of the spotless service center, the comfortable waiting area and, of all things, a waiting room movie theater.Overall, my car-buying experience at Mechanicsville Toyota could not have been nicer.

I wasn't completely happy with my purchase, salesman was nice over the phone, since I live about 2hours away. When I got there, the car was in decent shape, although the engine bay was disgusting, I brought the car and had to steam clean it. The salesman wouldn't honor the USAA price agreement discount and although I insisted that they must honor it a couple of time. I was in need of my truck that day, but I do regret buying it so hastly

Went to purchase a later model pre-owned vehicle. The one that fit my criteria was FILTHY. The employee found the previous owner's DVD player in the trunk, popcorn was on the floor, the seats were stained and it smelled. They explained that they don't bother to detail it until after a deal is made...WHAT? That's like showing a house with dirty diapers strewn on the floor. Seriously, who does that? The Carfax showed that they have had the car on their lot for four months so it's not like they didn't have time to detail it. Silly me for thinking that I'd be able to make a deal and take the car home the same day.Suffice to say, we went home without the car & showered.

I went looking for a used vehicle. My sales guy was friendly but not very helpful or informative. I test drove two Camrys. Both I was told had "just come in" and they hadn't yet cleaned them. This was obvious. One had french fries under the seat and stains on the seats. The other had a half-eaten container of yogurt in it. Before test driving one car I was told to drive to the gas station to fill up first. To find the second car, I drove around the lot in the first car while the sales guy had keys out the window pressing the panic button. He said they didn't have any sort of grid or map to keep track of the vehicle locations. When I asked about the vehicles he had available on the lot he retrieved the inventory list and handed it to me and said you can take a look at what we have. He had also mentioned they had "a lot" of Corrollas (since I was also interested in those). But after looking at his inventory list myself, I discovered he only had one. Totally unimpressed by their service.
