John and his team were fantastic! Rolled in to take a test drive and left with my "new" car a couple of hours later. Great inventory, fair prices, superb/low-pressure buying process, quick process and financing. It was so refreshing to enjoy the car buying experience. I gave this dealership 1 star for the simple fact they sold me a 05 GMC Yukon with a broken third row seat and when I drove the up to the dealership and showed John and and there mechanics, I was told It was up to Justin to let me know what was going to be the solution specially since I had a warranty but Justin never gave me a call back to solve the problem. Even after 4 tries, no return phone call. On top of all that they never called me to come pick up my tags which I had to track down. I would never buy from that dealership again.

We were in need of a third car, primarily for our kids. The staff at Member Car listened to what we needed and made several suggestions on what would fit our needs and budget. There was NO high pressure tactics. Prices were reasonable and there was no attempt at an "up sell." We got a 2015 Kia Forte at a fair price. I highly recommend Member Cars. Everybody talked to you like you were a person, not a sale.

My daughter needed a good used car, so we went to Membercar. My husband had purchased a vehicle from Membercar early this year, had a great experience, and suggested we go look at the inventory to see if she could find something in her price range. (He had worked with David Waghelstein.) She found a 2012 Kia Rio XL for a very reasonable price, test drove it, and decided it was the car for her. Her salesman was John Karayianis, and he was very patient with this first time buyer. Carl Barthman was helpful preparing the car loan information, and he made sure she received the best interest rate. Justin also helped with the process. Based upon my husband's and daughter's satisfaction with their car buying experience, I would strongly recommend Membercar.

I worked with John Karayianis towards the purchase of a used vehicle they were selling and I couldn't have had a better, easier, and more up-front, fair and honest experience. I looked at past reviews of MemberCar and I can certainly confirm and add to the plenitude of praise this dealership has received; it is very well deserved. The used vehicle I purchased was selling at a very fair (what I would call attractive) price and they allowed (even recommended) me to take the vehicle for a pre-purchase inspection. There were a couple little things that were not 100% with the vehicle and MemberCar quickly and easily had it all fixed and brought the car to 100% with no additional charge, hassle, or anything. They did all the paperwork for me as far as titling and registration goes and are providing me with an extended warranty option to compare with the Mercedes Dealership's options. Furthermore, they now offer me (and anyone else who purchases from them) free car washes and breakfast every Saturday, for an indefinitely long period of time. Turns out John also used to work in a field (unrelated to cars) that he retired from and I wish to enter, and he has offered to put in a word for me if I desire to go into the firm he used to work in. Talk about great service; he is truly customer oriented and very genuine about it. If you want great service and fair dealings, this is the place to go. I appreciate their quality of product and service very much.

Bought a Mini Cooper that I'm enjoying quite a bit. David Pulaski was very helpful throughout entire process. A sensor light remained on after purchase and brake light wasn't working consistently. They handled those repairs professionally at no cost. Would gladly do business with Member Car again.

A long overdue review to advise what a wonderful experience I had with Dave and Carl. I bought a 2014 Mercedes E350 4matic and traded in a 2006 Mercedes E350. Dave gave me a very fair price/trade in, allowed me 48 hours to have a mechanic review the car and a 30 day warranty. Car was in outstanding condition. Nothing but professional and responsive at all times. Transaction was painless and very smooth. I do not have a single complaint and refer folks willingly to MemberCar.

Terrible!!!! They are awful people who do not care about their customers. They are by far the worst location that I have ever purchased a vehicle from. The reviews on here are fluff! I had to sell my vehicle that I purchased from them because it was not working well and the battery died within 4 months of owning the vehicle. The insurance that they sell you is also a joke! They make you wait 4-6 weeks before a refund check is written to member car. When I asked Carl he said it would take 60-90 days to get paid which is an outrage and incorrect. They are not professional once they don't see you as a sell! Upon requesting I be paid my money which is owed and my right, they tried to say they could write me a check for 20% interest which would be profit for them. That is absolutely absurd!! Please I urge you to take your business elsewhere! I want to do all I can to help the next person avoid this sort of predicament and headache! They do not deserve anyone's business!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

I just purchased a car from MemberCar and so happy with the whole experience. David is a wonderful sales men with thrilling customer service skills he made the whole experience amazing. I had been looking for an Acura TL for weeks. When I finally found it here in Rockville I was so excited. We went over around 6:00 pm and David stayed late to make sure we left with the car I wanted. MemberCar delivered exactly what I needed and was pleasant to work with! My significant other recently moved into my house, and as result needed a car. We ended up have a very specific set of requirements for a vehicle. MemberCar was happy to indulge us as we viewed their inventory, and setup an appointment to test drive. I purchased a 2005 Audi convertible and had an overall excellent experience. David, the salesperson, was always available to discuss the vehicle and was very helpful/professional when I came to look at the car. Because I submitted my loan application prior to going to the dealership, the buying process was simple and easy. Additionally, they give you the option to have your own mechanic inspect the car, and MemberCar will pay for any issues that would be identified in the state inspection. My mechanic did not identify any problems. Highly recommend.

I had a great buying experience! We live in a state a significant distance from the dealership. Once we found the car on line, David P. went well beyond the minimum required to have the car ready for our inspection and test drive. Post purchase, he and his colleagues did everything they could, from referral to a reputable shipper to coordinating paperwork transfer. Our 2012 Audi A5 Cabriolet arrived unscathed and is everything we expected it to be. I will, and already have, recommended Member Car to friends.

Due to unique circumstances, I have purchased two vehicles from MemberCar in the past 4 months. Both experiences have been amazingly smooth and simple. I was able both times to arrive by Metro, be picked up at the station, and leave with the car I wanted, all in less than 3 hours. David had all of the paperwork and credit verification completed in advance and the process went the smoothest of any car purchases I have ever made. In both cases the vehicles were prepped and in like-new condition (the first was a 2007 Lexus SC430, Silver with white leather interior, and the second was a 2008 Lexus SC430, Silver with black leather interior). Unfortunately the first car was totaled in an accident, thus the purchase of the second vehicle so soon. At that point I knew where to go for a great car, and the salesman to contact. Didn't drive 300 miles like one reviewer, but Rockville is a bit of a hike for me, regardless. Totally worth the time and trouble! Did the typical internet search and contact thing, but Robbie got back to me right awat and scheduled a time for me to come in at my convenience. When I got there, Robbie was waiting outside for me, and the car I was interested in was freshly washed and ready for a test drive. The car looked even better in person, and exceeded my wildest dreams. The financing was a bit tricky as I have an unusual job with no real proof of income (didn't think to bring tax returns!), but Robbie and Eric put everything together and were able to create a deal that was way better than I could ever have gotten anywhere else, even at my own dealership in VA. I will definitely recommend MemberCar to anyone who will listen to me. They are totally the real deal!

This was the best experience that I have ever had buying a car. Robbie was perfect as was the rest of the staff. Everything I requested was taken care of in a timely manner. I saw a different car online, it was sold by the time I made my visit, but found an ever better one! Follow up has been incredible. Do yourself a favor and give them an opportunity to sell you a car. The best part of all is the FREE car wash on Saturdays.

Without hesitation I would recommend MemberCar. I am a "Car Guy" but rely on David for advice on buying and maintaining my cars. It's not just the pleasant buying experience for Hyundai's to Bentley's but also for the maintenance in keeping my car looking great. I went by the other day (carwash Saturday) and he commented on a few bruises my Pearl-White Cadillac had and that he could have it repaired very reasonably. Local body shops wanted $1,500 for my 2005 SRX so I was not going to do it. But at the Membercar price I can have it looking great for a lot less. So whether you just need a car question answered, need a cosmetic fix-me-up or need to buy a great car at a great value, give David and MemberCar a try. You will be pleasantly surprised and pleased.

I got a beautiful low mileage Jaguar S-type from MemberCars. Robbie Barker is great to work with- no pressure, none of the usual games you get at a dealership. The car was supposed to have some touch up paint done to the bumpers on Sunday . I bought it on a Saturday. Robbie had them do the painting, changed the front brake pads, filled the car with gas, had it detailed before I picked it up on Monday! Wow! Eric gave me a fair trade in and Robbie handled all the paperwork and title stuff. Great experience and I'll be back to buy my next vehicle from Robbie. I had never heard of membercar, but when I searched online for a Volvo C70, they came up with one that looked perfect. I put in an inquiry and David got back to me right away with all the information I could want on the car. I set up a time to come in and the car was out front and all set for a test drive. Everyone at membercar was incredibly friendly and helpful and there was no high pressure pitch. They even made me a great offer for the car I drove in so within a short time I had the deal done and drove off in my new (used) car. When I went back a week later to drop off some items for my old car and mentioned a couple minor problems with the Volvo, they went out of their way to correct them. I can't say enough good things about my experience and would gladly recommend them.

MemberCar, Inc. is fantastic. I visited MemberCar for the first time on March 1, 2015 to look at a used Nissan Maxima SV. It was better than described on the internet. The car was immaculate inside and out. It performed like a brand new car. It had no blemishes or other issues. I couldn't believe that they were selling this car for the asking price of $24,800.00. I figured that they would try to low ball me like most dealers do on the trade-in. Carl Barthman, Sales Manager, took my 2008 Honda Accord EX-L for a drive and came back and offered me a very fair price for it. There was no need to haggle. I was actually shocked that he offered me above blue book without a fight. Well, to make a long story short, I'm in my second week with my new Maxima and I still am happy with my decision. I have owned two Infiniti automobiles in the last thirteen years and the Maxima rides as quiet or quieter and it has a lot more gadgets. I'm in love with the heated steering wheel, Bose sound system and navigation. I found the original owner's name and address in the Navigation system. They had forgotten to delete their personal data before trading it in. I took the liberty to track this person down to ask about the car as I was curious how I got a $42,000 car for $24,800 with only 10,200 miles on it. I thought that there might be something wrong with it that I haven't figured out. I spoke with the lady who owned it and she said she only drove it for six months when she had to have neck surgery. After the surgery her vertebrae was to sensitive and it hurt her with the stiff suspension of the sporty Maxima. She had to trade it in for a softer ride.This confirmed in my mind that I bought the right car. All worries or potential concerns went out the window at that point. It gives me great pleasure to recommend MemberCar, Inc. You will find the staff very courteous and professional and respectful of your time and intelligence.

A special thanks to the staff of this dealership: Dave, Carl and Eric. The used-car buying process was quick and thorough for me. A quote was received in writing via email with the line items broken down tax, tags, and processing, and the staff took the initiative of preparing the paperwork prior to my arrival. The documents signed were thoroughly explained and a copy was given without having to request it. The purchased vehicle was clean and fueled up all the way waiting for pick up. The whole process was completed in less than an hour of arriving with an official check and driving off.

The lot sits back off the main road and is a little hidden but don't let that worry you. This place is not some big fancy dealership but again don't let that bother you. This place has a very nice selection of newer cars and the prices are better than you will find elsewhere. David was a very nice salesman to work with and was not pushy or high pressure in anyway. I found the Infiniti QX56 I was looking for on the Internet and told him I would make the hour and a half trip the following day. When I arrived the vehicle was sitting out front waiting for me to look it over and test drive. After we ran some numbers with my trade I told them I needed to think about it and talk it over with my wife and they did not try to push me or anything. I ended up driving back down in 2 days to take my new infiniti home and couldn't be happier with everything. Thanks guys I will be back in the future!

WOW!!! I decided to buy a luxury sports car and did an Internet search...Member Car had my PERFECT dream car. Don't let the look of this FABULOUS DEALERSHIP fool you! Even though they don't usually have Sunday hours, my husband encouraged me to call. David Pulaski answered the phone, answered my questions and welcomed me to come check it out, which I did. David had the car ready for me, which we took for a test drive. He reviewed many of the features, then showed me other sports cars that might interest me as well. David's knowledge about this car, plus his relaxed, non-pressured approach was very refreshing. Then I met Carl, (finance) who gave me a fair offer for my trade-in and secured an EXCELLENT low interest car loan. This was one of my best car buying experiences ever...and being an avid (sports) car lover, I've purchased over 15 cars. Their follow up has been outstanding as well! When I arrived at Members Cars I was just going to look at the vehicle I had saw online. I'm a female and I was a little hesitant. I'm like these guys are going to try and fast talk me,..............yada, yada, yada. Not the case. These guys were professional, polite and courtesy and when your selling a quality product it sells itself. I did make a purchase that day and they helped me with financing, lower rates than my own credit union & I am pleased with the vehicle I purchase. I just rolled off the lot in my 2011 Hyundai Genesis! I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I found the car on an Internet search that lead me to MemberCar. I received a prompt call from my Internet inquiry and ventured to Rockville to test drive the car with Robbie. It was snowing that day but everything was ready for my experience. We were not sure about the dealership as the site is more like a warehouse with an office tacked on it. However, Robbie was professional and patient so we continued with our conversation. We didn't buy that day as we were still unsure of the deal and needed to think about it. Robbie assured us that he'd honor his words just the same if we came back later. After a horrible experience at another dealership, we decided that this car and this price at MemberCar was the best. So, we came back and signed the final deal with Robbie and Carl. I recently bought a car and really enjoyed the stress-free process. I visited the dealership on a Saturday and by the following Monday, I owned the car. Upon reading reviews ahead of time and arriving to the location, I was slightly skeptical because of casual-like, lax environment and "less-typical" look of the dealership. The only dealerships I had ever visited were fancy, full of suited-up and intimidating salesmen. I met with Carl, initially, who ended up selling me the car. At this point, I didn't think much of it, because I still had to purchase the car and fill out all my paperwork. After fling out all my paperwork, about an hour and a half process, the guy to make my second car key had not yet arrived so my boyfriend and I agreed we would go to lunch for the next two hours and come back to pick up the car. Upon returning from lunch around 3:30pm, the guy to make a double car key STILL had not arrived! I was annoyed because all of this should have been handled upon my morning arrival. The key was made at about 4pm and I left the dealership shortly thereafter. This caused me to catch traffic on my way back homeAll in all, I give this experience four stars. Excellent customer service and a minor issue with timing and preparedness. I recommend this dealership because the prices seem fair, the cars appear reliable (so far) and the service is easy to deal with and entirely stress free. I never felt pressured to make any decisions. The preparedness factor is minor in my opinion because these guys are no fancy salesmen, but they do honor their customers and come through with what they say they'll do.

I saw the van online and gave them a call, Robbie was very pleasant, the following day i drove the about 1 hour drive to rockville to check the vehicle out. We've been looking for a comfortable pre-owned car online for what seemed like an eternity. There were 3 or 4 models we wanted to check out, but were not looking forward to walking into more dealerships. I noticed MemberCar had them all on their lot so we stopped by. Robbie came out after giving us some time to look around and gladly got keys for us to look the cars over. He was super friendly and low key. We never felt rushed or felt like he was trying to make a sale. Once he had an idea of the type of car we wanted, he showed us some cars we hadn't considered before--all within our budget. We put a deposit down on a car that same day. It had a great Carfax report but because it was an older model, Robbie encouraged us to bring our own mechanic by before purchasing it. We've only had it a week, but so far so good. Need I say more!

I am one person who keeps their cars for a very long time, so spending time at dealerships are far and few between for me but I always remember how they make me feel. In May of last year I bought a new truck from a dealership in Laurel which was a far cry on how I felt when I left MemberCar lot. I have to say the best salesman I have ever worked with was Robbie. I contacted him regarding a MINI convertible that I found on line at a great price. Robbie not only had the car waiting from me ready to go, but he didn't put me through hours of prior sales pitch like my last experience. Then after my test drive he noticed that I was pondering a little about it. Instead of trying to talk me into it getting that car he took me over to see other MINIs and other models to ensure that the MINI is what I really wanted, it was like having a friend helping me out. I did end up buying a MINI but not the convertible that or originally inquired about. Like everyone else I too love my car and the service I received. I highly recommend this place and will be back, in 10 years or so, for my next one. Just hope Robbie is still there.

I worked with Robbie Barker. He was polite and attentive and didn't give me a hard sell. He volunteered to show me the car fax and other relevant information about the car I was interested in. He pointed out everything I ought to know about the car before I bought it - I didn't have pump him for potential problems. Plus, MemberCar's detailing is superb. The three-year old car that I bought look factory-new, inside and out. 4 stars for facilities because MemberCar doesn't have a fancy office. They keep costs down and pass the savings on to their customers. I applaud them for that but some people like posh surroundings.

This was by far was the best car buying experience with a car dealership. Mr. Robbie Barker was informative and friendly, but never pushy like you feel at another car dealership. He briefed me on the features of the car and let me test drive several cars at my leaisure. After good negotiations, we settled on a great sales price. The paperwork was done quickly and efficiently, and I drove out in my new car within an hour. I just purchased a BMW from MemberCar and was extremely surprised how fast and easy their process is. Usually I am prepared to sit around the dealership for hours, filling papers and playing the numbers game back and forth. Not at all like that at this place! Robbie Baker was my sales person and he made everything very simple, start to finish. They will make sure you are happy with your purchase and will not try to rip every dollar out of you. First of all I was a little skeptical when I pulled up to Member Cars hidden location. When I walked onto the lot I was amazed at the amount of luxury vehicles. I went to specifically look at the corvette I found on their website for thousands less than other dealers around the area. I expected to find the vehicle damaged or in need of some repair, but I was wrong. I was met by the owner David Waghelstein. I immediately asked how he was able to get these high value cars at these prices. David explained how he purchased these cars and answered every questionable thought I had about the dealership. I have purchased about 20 cars and all have been from name brand dealerships because of the nightmares told by friends about purchasing from smaller used car dealers. After talking with David I felt that I was ready to try one of these smaller dealers. Robbie Barker was my salesman. He gathered my information and handed me the keys for the test drive. He answered every question about the vehicle had. When I returned my trade appraisal was done and we headed in for negotiations. I expected a low ball offer for my trade due to the low price of the corvette. I was given a more than fair deal on my trade. When it came to financing I was given a better rate than the bank I have been with for over 15 years. Robbie was straight and upfront with all the costs associated with the purchase. This was truly the best purchasing experience I have ever had, friendly atmosphere, no haggle pricing, great vehicle selection, the best financing. MemberCar is an excellent dealership, I would say MemberCars is a diamond in the rough and I'm so glad I found them! During my search I read many of the reviews and decided I would check them out for a specific vehicle my wife and I had in mind and had been trying to find at the right price/mileage/color for months. We drove down on the off chance and we met Big Dave who initially greeted us with a big warm handshake, we recently moved from UK to the USA and he immediately detected our accent as being from England. Dave is a great guy and you immediately warm to his and MemberCars warmth, charm, style, no pressure sales, they really have a great family style sales model here and its working for them 100%. Good cars, good deals and honest deals. Big Dave, was great he showed us several vehicles all in the price range we were looking for, and I have to say the range and selection is huge, he got to know what we were looking for very quickly and within the hour we are test driving a stunning Chevrolet Suburban SLT. While we were out test driving, Dave appraised our trade in, when we returned he asked us what we thought of the Chevy, I said how much will you give me trade in and he told us right off the bat what he would give us for our car, we agreed shook on it and the entire process from end to end went pretty quickly considering the sheets of paperwork American car dealerships are required to fill out these days. What can I tell you except overall a super establishment, super friendly customer service. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our new purchase. I purchased 2011 BMW from Member Car this week. I would like to say a couple of good words about Robbie Barker, my sales person. From the beginning until the end of the choosing/ buying process Robbie was always available and very attentive. No matter when and how many times I emailed or called he was right there. All my questions where answered. He gave me valuable recommendations about financing, service, insurance, and so on. Other employees were also very friendly and helpful. Before this dealership I went to Toyota in Fairfax, VA and absolutely disliked their approach (kept me there for hours, didn't want to tell the price, misled me with color, and just very annoying). Robbie was not pushy at all, he acted more like a friend just helping me to find the right car and price. I also should mention that Member Car offers the lowest price in the area. I just recently bought my first car from MemberCar and could not be happier with the experience. Before arriving at the dealership, I did a lot of research on their website and definitely had my eye on a specific car. I called about a week before and they told me it was still available and to come in. When I arrived, Carl (major shout out to Carl for everything), showed me a couple cars but never pressured me to buy anything. He made sure I knew exactly what each feature was and was very casual about letting me drive them. There were a couple of small issues with the car, all cosmetic, that he assured me would be fixed when/if I bought the car. I ended up returning the next day and drove the car off the lot. All the issues had been fixed and everything went incredibly quickly and smoothly. I will definitely be recommending MemberCar to my friends!

I was doing online search for a used car that I wanted to give my grand-daughter as a graduation present. Well I had just about given up the search when I saw this car that looked like new with the right mileage and the right price from a place called Member Car, which I had never heard of. I called, the car was available so my grand and I went to take a look. We were met by Tommie Sanchez the director of sales who showed us the car, a 2007 Honda Accord LX. I generally have my guard up and get cranky as soon as I walk into a dealership, but everyone at Member Car was so nice and helpful, I was at ease almost immediately. Absolute best experience buying a car! We've bought plenty of cars from regular dealerships and Carmax. Found the ideal car for my husband on-line. The car was at Membercar, which we had never heard of. Went 2 days back and met Carl. Test drove a few cars - all without any pressure at all- Carl even said if we wanted to try any other cars (such as those we had no intention of buying- like a boxster), we could! Test drove without Carl- so we had time to really drive around a get a good feel for the car. The actual purchase was basically just signing all the papers. He gave us a fair trade for our trade-in and we walked out of there very happy. Never going back to Carmax!

I am an inexperience car buyer having purchased my only prior car from an extended family member. But I have been working a post-college job for two years now and finally had the scratch to upgrade from my Ford Focus. I messed around on carmax for a bit, as there is one near my house, including having a base c300 MB shipped from a few states away. Anyway, it took them a week to bring it in and by then my enthusiasm at the prospect of being a benz owner and driving a "luxury sports sedan" had been overriden by more practical concerns, namely living in a city with such a low clearance ride and the maintenance costs associated with owning a foreign luxury auto. The driving experience and the customer interaction I had at carmax left a lot to be desired. During the week before my test drive I had begun to look at crossover SUVs, thinking it would be a better fit as a bigger guy (6' 3"). The RAV4 6cyl and turbocharged subaru forester caught my interest, but by the time carmax shipped the c300 all their models in stock and in range of free transport had been reserved. On a whim I looked at cars.com for local listings and found the XT model and year that I was looking for, with 5,000 less miles, for a good 3k less. The carfax provided indicated a great prior record. I contacted them the next morning, was able to test drive it after work the same day, and was sold. The car was in excellent condition aside from some scuffs on the interior material and a slight tear in the passenger seat leather upholstery. The engine compartment looked brand new, in great condition and the car drove great. My salesman, Carl, was more than accommodating and looked at me quizzically when I asked if he would get in the car so I could take a test drive. Yeah, unlike carmax where they will not only not let you drive the car alone but also have a predetermined route that you must take that barely lets you get a feel for the cars capability, Membercar insists that you take it yourself and take it where you want, through town and highway driving, as long as you need to get a feel. I was sold the second I got back to the lot, Carl made the purchase incredibly easy by applying for my credit and getting me a great rate, preparing all the paperwork overnight and getting it all organized. Went back the next day signed everything dropped my down payment and drove off happy as could be with my new car and a full tank of super gas. Will definitely be back in a few years when I am looking for a new whip, and Im sure these guys will be just as helpful and non pressure filled as was this buying experience. Plus, a years membership in their member club which includes free car washes every good weather saturday and sunday as well as discounted service for your car. Theyre a family company with quality, family like relationships set as their goal and they achieve it. Thanks again guys

My situation was a bit different. I bought back the same car (Racing yellow Porsche Cayman S) that was sold 2 weeks prior, BUT they were so nice that I did NOT feel that i was dealing with used car sales people. They did not make much profit and sold me back the same car just to keep me happy. They are very friendly, professional, and fair people. Everyone including their staff are very polite, helpful, clean, organized. I like their service and attitude VERY MUCH and I will deal with them again. I highly recommend them!!

I purchased a 2004 Porsche Cayenne and after 3 days of owning the car I needed a new battery. I returned my car to the shop for this and because of noise coming from my dash which sounded like electrical issues. After having my car for a combined two weeks because I had to take it there twice the issue still today this day is not resolved. Larry is friendly but takes on average a day or two to return any calls or text. The mechanic that they use is not very knowledgeable and they absolutely refused to go thru porsche to repair my car even though it was still in its 30 day warranty. I have had my car for a little over a month now and now my engine light is on and after a diagnostic I was told I need an oxygen sensor. Overall a beautiful selection of cars and Robbie is reliable and works fast but other than that beware.

This is definitely not your run-of-the-mill dealership, and you won't feel pressured or stressed during the browsing/buying process (they didn't even take our phone number after our first visit, so it was us who contacted them back about a car). We ended up purchasing a vehicle through them and are very happy with the whole experience. You can tell that they care about the quality of the cars that they purchase and sell. We dealt mostly with Robbie, but also met the owner, Dave and another employee, Carl. All were pleasant to work with and patient with us (this was our first time buying a car). i had never heard of member car before and was hesitant to check them out... however, they had the largest selection of the car that i was looking for... without having robbie, the sales manager, accompany on my test drives (i took 6 of them) i was able to really take my time and check on the things that were important to me... upon deciding which car i wanted, the buy process was seamless and hassle free... robbie even did some research on his own regarding warranty and free service left on the car... when i took possession of the car, it actually looked better than when i test drove it, due to robbie's own initiative to make the car perfect... overall, the buying experience was easier, friendlier, less forced, more personal, than i would have imagined... so far, nothing is wrong with the car (knock on wood) and i feel comfortable having given member car my business...

Never heard of MemberCar, but would soon become a fan. Found them, while browsing for a certain model no one else had in stock. This was the winter of 2013,Sochi Russia was warmer than the east coast. And I find the need to buy a car, not just any car.... a convertible! I call MemberCar and speak with a most helpful sales person. I am 300 mi. from this business, and not an overly trusting gal! With Robbie's help I buy a beautiful car, sight unseen and it is delivered to my door in a week. Crazy as it seems it was the smoothest transaction I have ever had buying ANY car! He sends me pics,he sends me the Car Fax and he gives me the cars history. Continues with completing the transaction by recommending a delivery service to have it brought to my front door! Thank You Mindy! Thank you Tomi! And thank you very much it was exactly as he described. No wrinkles...No worries! Have been to Member Car for our second vehicle - the first a 5 series BMW -- this one was a Hyundai Genesis. As before the service was great and personal. Everyone was focused on customer service - but the most important feature is the quality of product. Vehicles are well prepared and clean - our BMW is now with us 7 years and still running like a top. Do not feel we will ever go anywhere else for vehicles in the future. Special recognition to Carl who made the entire process comfortable and easy. And of course - thanks Dave! I don't normally feel comfortable when it comes to car dealerships because I feel like I'm getting scammed, but I did not feel uncomfortable around this place at all. They were open and honest, and completely up front with details of the car I was looking to purchase. It was in immaculate condition. They gave me a great deal, better than what I'd expected, and even helped me get financing. I checked other dealers with the budget I had, and the condition of the car I was looking at at member Car was superior to anything else I saw offered elsewhere. I would definitely come back to Member Car for any future purchases.

Awesome car buying experience! Who says that?! People who buy from Member Car! I had a horrible experience at another large dealership with high pressure tactics. MC is not into those shenanigans. The MC folks are very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and fair. Robbie and Carl are amazing! It's obvious that the MC staff are quality and customer focused. I found A truck I wanted on KBB.com. It was located 150 miles from me at a dealer I hadn't heard of by the of MemberCar. After reading prior great reviews on their dealership I decided to contact them via the website, and I am so glad I did. Robbie was so responsive and helpful. We worked during the weekend on all aspects of the deal from price,my trade in down to the warranty. Robbie was helpful extremely upfront,honest and very willing to work with me. He did everything he could to ensure that the Truck was perfect for me and that in his words "wasn't wasting my time taking the long drive" He delivered everything promised and then some. Robbie was even gracious enough to hold the car for me until I could get there despite the other requests on the car. I would drive the 300 miles again and again to deal with Robbie and MemberCar. I have purchased many cars in the past this was the best experience I have ever had. I will be a MemberCar customer for life and will recommend them to everyone I know.

Ironically, our minds were decided.. We only went into MemberCar to take a look at a plan B/secondary option for a Corvette, but simply could NOT walk away from one of the options. Robbie was our knight-in- shining-armor for the day! Super knowledgeable, patient and non-pressing, very straightforward, and provided a supreme level of customer service. And lightening fast! Very swift and clean buying process. From one salesperson to the next, I was very pleased with his approach of " no carsales sleaze", which we definitely appreciated. I was extremely skeptical at first because I had never bought from a small dealership so I read the reviews before going and they were spot on. They were helpful in making my decision to go check them out because I leave in VA and I am glad I went. I spoke with people that purchased from them and they also spoke very highly of them. No pressure to buy and no haggling over price. The service was great and they are extremely helpful in the car buying process. Robbie, the sales manager, assisted me with purchasing my car and also trading in my old one. Carl was also great in getting the paperwork completing with ease and didn't take up a lot of time which we all know can sometimes be an all day thing. I would definitely go back to MemberCar to purchase another car and recommend my friends to them also. If you are looking for a high end or luxury car then this is the place to go!

Member Car had the vehicle I wanted and the price was good. The vehicle was immaculate, with extras that I didn't know I wanted, but do now. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and easy going. No pressure to buy or not, just presented the right vehicle at a good price. It took bit long with follow up paper work, but it was accurate in the end.

These Guys are Great ,,, No pressure ... easygoing Sales .... They had the right car at the right price ,, They also gave me the Best Deal on my trade-in . Robbie and all the other sales help we're a pleasure to work with .. The next time I need a car ,I will look them up. They have a great selection with low miles , and the cars are Mint !! I drove 3 1/2 hours to get there from NYC , and It was worth the trip . I got exactly what I wanted for the right price . I drove out of there feeling good about the deal ... I'm a single woman and put out feelers on where to go for a used car and the COO of the company I work for said Membercar. This is my second car I purchased from them and will never buy from anyone else. Even if they don't have what you are looking for in their inventory, they will find it for you. My boss bought two cars (for his kids) from them this way in the past year. i can't say enough good things about them. And the best part....when you buy a car from them, the door doesn't shut behind you...they are ALWAYS there to help. They also have an auto body shop so I've taken my car to them for that as well. Who would think you'd be treated like family when you buy a car?

I was interested in purchasing a 2005 Navigator from this dealer. I took time off work to travel to Maryland to inspect the car and was looking forward to the purchase. Finally, when I passed my credit card information for the down payment, the price quoted on Cars.com was not honored; the dealer added $1000 to the price displayed online. Beware!

I have bought approx. 20-vehicles to date and have never experienced the level of calm or lack of pressure that I had dealing with Carl at "Car Members". He found financing for me even though my debt ratio is high right now. The day after I left with my truck I noticed a humming sound while pressing on the accelerator. When I called Carl he connected me with Jim who took very good care of me. There mechanic changed a few gears in the rear at no charge and I'm good to go. I had figured that my 30-day power train warranty left room for interpretation. Nothing on my power train was actually broken so they could have easily gave me a story and sent me on my way. But they were very honest and took care of the problem no questions asked. Therefor I will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vehicle. Oh by the way they have some real sweet cars there Corvettes, Benzes, a whole line of beautiful cars and trucks even a Aston Martin. Cant say enough about this place!!!!

I actually ended up not buying the car for various reasons unrelated to the dealer. But they took an extraordinary amount of time with me talking through what the process would be etc. It was clear that without a doubt these were the kind of folks that make it easy and frankly pleasant to buy a car. They were smart, rational and didnt try to push me toward something I didnt need. good folks.

While deployed with the military overseas I worked (through my wife) to get a vehicle with Member Car. The first thing I notice on the site were the excellent prices for the vehicles. After finding the vehicle I wanted I contacted the dealership and set up everything for my wife. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. After purchasing the vehicle I ran into some legal problems with my loan and the dealership was more than understanding of my situation. When I called the dealership to apologize for the issue, they replied " We understand the situation you are in being deployed and we are more than willing to work with you as much as possible". This statement alone is more than enough for me to recommend this dealership to ANYONE in the area. It's getting harder and harder to find companies that support and work with military personnel. I will be recommending this company to anyone in the area looking for a vehicle.

First off, these folks do not want to haggle so be ready for that--good or bad from your perspective. Frankly, that is OK with me as their prices were very reasonable. I did KBB and NADA research as well as comparably equipped vehicles in the area and decided that at most I could shave $500 off the online price. In the end, due to the condition, provenance (1 owner with low miles), and sales experience, I was happy to pay what was on the sticker. These folks select high quality used vehicles and take good care of them for showing/sale. Plus you won't have to deal with a sales manager, supervisor, etc. back and forth plus pressure for financing, warranty, etc. They were very straightforward and reasonable throughout the process. The only comparably positive experience I've had was doing an overseas delivery with Volvo. Maybe a minor nitpick is that you are best off making an appointment as they don't have 10 car salesmen waiting around for you. With limited manpower, call/email ahead and communicate so they are ready for you. Don't worry when you pull up to their address and drive past a collison center. They have a small lot in the back and you'll see their exceptional inventory there. Carl was extremely professional and his attention to detail and care with regard to my vehcile was impressive. Maybe you could save a bit more with a hard haggle at a regular dealership but I'll take working with these pros with a great inventory anyday. They earned a fair profit for their hard work, knowledge and low pressure business model. I'd recommend to any friend/family looking for a nice pre-owned vehicle and I'd go back.

Unbelievable service! I found the car I wanted and contacted Membercar to see about purchasing it. I am from another state so I was extremely nervous about buying a car having never laid eyes on it myself. Membercar made the process SO easy for me! Excellent communication every step of the way, and they really went out of their way to make things easy for me! Everyone I dealt with was truly happy to help me! I can't recommend them enough! And talk about value - when the car finally arrived it was BETTER than they described it! I got the car I wanted and saved thousands of dollars over local dealers. They really went above and beyond to earn my trust and my business! Thank you Membercar! Two days ago I purchased a used 2005 Ford Escape XLT from MemberCar and it truly was one of best car buying experiences ever. When I first called the location I spoke with the owner David Waghelstein and he stated to me hat they were a no hassle or haggle dealer who just wanted his customers to have a great car buying experience From the moment I arrived, he kept his word. Everyone I dealt with was so friendly and professional. Larry Barker my salesman was incredible. He not only gave me a more than fair trade in offer for my 2006 Dodge stratus, I know because I did my homework before trading in my car, but he also refused to let me purchase the 2005 Ford Escape before correcting a few damaged items on the vehicle for no additional charge, where most other dealers would have told you to take the car as is for the listed price, or would charge you for the repairs. Most of all Larry Barker was just one of the nicest human beings I ever met. Then there was Carl Barthman the finance officer, who was also very professional and courteous. He somehow found a way to reduce the price of the 2005 Ford even further. Lastly I was introduced to Manny Bermudez who is in charge of their member services who was also incredibly friendly and helpful in explaining the network of services they offer. Oh yeah, did I mention that they also give free car washes every Saturday to all their members! i bought a 2008 Sububan ltz for $33.000. they gave me a thousand miles and thirty day warranty during the warranty period i went to member car more than 3 times because the car was having list of problems. they kept the car for 5 days and asks to cover the charges to fix the problems. i don't know how this car ever passed Maryland inspection. if anyone wants to buy a car from them have the inspection done somewhere else because there inspection is not be trusted. now i have a car that i cant use because its not safe. if anybody wants to speak to me about my experience with member car e-mail me. ezabeyatgmail.com

Dan Williams, the Sales Manager here, is the kind of person most of us would like to have as a neighbor. He is smart, thorough, good-humored, honest, and genuinely helpful. He takes car of his cars. He takes care of his customers. In today's world, that's rare. I know something about this: I used to work as a Mercedes-Benz car salesman. Recently, my wife and I wanted to buy a used vehicle. We went to a few dealerships and researched many more. MemberCar stood out because every single review we read was highly favorable. Having just bought a Toyota Land Cruiser from Dan Williams, I now know why. He had the car gone over by his mechanic, meticulously. His mechanic, Bob, is himself a stickler for detail; he is independent of Dan's operation but State Inspects the cars MemberCar sells. On our Land Cruiser, before we bought it, he found about $1400 worth of work that needed to be done. Dan Williams authorized it, and he didn't raise the price a penny. My rating: A+and Well Done, Dan! If you are a car buyer, you will be in good hands. Dan will find you the kind of car you wantand he won't sell a car you don't want. This is as good as it gets, and it is very, very good. I have already recommended this dealer to several of our friends.

I recently purchased an 03 Acura RSX-S from MemberCar and from the start EVERYONE was SO nice & respectful! I really felt welcomed & cared for by the employees. Customer Service: Dan was GREAT! Our converstation started by chat and ended with the purchase of a 2006 Lexus 400h. The vehicle had a flaw that Dan promised to fix. The repair was completed and I was kept advised throughout the entire process. Membercar's sales team treats you like person and not just a commission check like other dealers. No pressure to buy. Even the state inspection person said the vehicle I purchased was "gorgeous!" Very happy! Buying Process: SPECTACTULAR! From the price of the vehicle to the recommendation of the extended warranty. Everything was up front and easy to understand. Quality of Repair: N/A Overall Facilities: This is not a big, fancy dealership. If you want higher prices and flashy signs then head to a big box store. Membercar is tucked away off the road and (in my opinion) focuses on the vehicles rather than the flash. The faciliites get the job done.

My wife and I shopped for a used car at different dealerships, but couldn't find the right combination (price/vehicle), with some locations not even treating us as serious buyers, and acting like the type/price range of vehicle in which we were interested didn't actually exist. I came across a Membercar listing for a vehicle in which we were interested. I found Membercar's website and viewed the inventory listed, making a list of other vehicles of interest. We test drove several vehicles, but weren't able to find one that we wanted on the first visit, but the experience was so unique and pleasant that we decided to go back again. On the next trip, after a few more test drives of different vehicles, we found the one we ended up buying. My wife put it best when she said, "This car just feels like us". Dan accomplished the sale and was the consummate gentleman and true to his word. We also met Dave, the owner, and Ann and Mark were also very helpful during our visits. I have already recommended Membercar to friends who are in search of an excellent vehicle at a great price.
