We were on a long distance trip a few weeks back with our Sprinter Van when our check engine light came on south of Eugene. We went into the Eugene Mercedes dealership and they told us their computers were busy and that they did not have the time. We went across the street to the Dodge dealership, where they had the computer, but could not find where to insert the plug under the dashboard. I called the Salem Mercedes dealership, since we were headed north. I was immediately transferred to Evan (an actual Sprinter person). He told us to come in right about 1 and they would take a look at it. We were there at 1. He came out immediately, and then his two technicians came out. They immediately put the computer onto the vehicle and told us what was wrong and not to worry about it, but get it checked when we got home. We would like to give a shout out to Evan, Collin and Daniel. They were professional, friendly, TIMELY, and eased our concerns. We have never been into a dealership that was so incredibly responsive. Thank you SO much.

I’ve bought two cars from Mercedes of Salem, both experiences have been horrible. I refused to get service done there because of the terrible service. Most recently I had to take my car to have clear bar replaced due to warranty. They did not replace it, only cut out the bad piece. I bought this car brand new and it’s less than a year old. Replacing the clear bra is covered under warranty. When I picked up my car and looked at the repair, instead of replacing the clear film they cut out the damaged part of clear film. Mike the manager said they would not replace it. The additional piece with water damage was not replaced either. I will never buy or use their service again. Terrible customer service and overall shady business manager

Promise made, promise kept. What the other Mercedes dealer said it’d take 4-5 days to fix on my sprinter, this dealer only took a few hours. Easy scheduling, great communication, excellent staff. Thank you Alisha, Tony, Evan, and the rest of the team. I’m back in business because of your excellent service. Now I know where to purchase my next work van and where to go for servicing. Thanks!

MB of Salem is a fantastic dealership and Abel was particularly helpful. We have brought our vehicles there for several years for service and when it was time to purchase a new one, Able was there to help. Evan and the MB Salem experience has restored my belief that dealerships are not all bad. I've had some awful experiences at MB dealerships with my Sprinter (not all bad, but some quite bad), but this was honestly one of the best service experiences I've had with any vehicle mechanic (past and present, dealer or not). Evan was great to schedule with, listened to the feedback and provided very clear timelines, and met them. Honest, transparent and professional - a real pleasure to have work done at MB Salem and would return again if I needed additional work. Highly recommended.

This was a true "team experience". Very friendly staff, dedicated to giving you an enjoyable experience in buying your next car. Both Mike and Lori are true sales professionals doing all possible to ensure your satisfaction. The introduction of us to the entire dealership and all the different departments gives a true "team" feeling. Very much recommend them.

Just a few words to say thank you to Bernardo and the other folks at Mercedes of Salem. I started my quest for a second vehicle by looking for a used Cadillac then ventured into even considering a used Mercedes. One of the Cadillac dealers encouraged me to consider leasing a new Cadillac. I mulled that over for a bit, and then decided to look into a Mercedes since I was just considering this possibility. I called Mercedes of Salem and spoke with Bernardo and asked if I could test drive a new E350; he graciously said he would be glad to take me on a test drive. I explained that I was just looking and considering the possibility, but when I found out the price of the E350 I decided it was out of my price range and informed him as such. I thanked him and he offered to answer any further questions and to let him know should I change my mind about their vehicle. So I decided to check the net to see if I could find some other vehicles with fewer amenities for a bit less. I did find a dealership that had one for much less. So I decided I would go with that one even though it was out of state. Since Bernardo was very knowledgeable and gracious (not pushy) in his presentation and test drive I felt that I should let him know of my decision. So I left a message for him since he was not in that day. He called me back to ask more about the car that I found. When I told him about the vehicle, he once again graciously shared information about the vehicle that would make it much for difficult to resale because of some of the features and lack of features. He then asked if I would consider their offer after he spoke with his manager Dave. I said that I would and their offer was for a monthly payment that is less than the other vehicle and the vehicle has more features. So I agreed to go in and the process was started to lease the vehicle that I now have parked in my garage. I must say that I was pleased through the process. Bernardo has been most helpful to the point of even accommodating me on his day off to make me feel comfortable with the new vehicle. He even came out to my place to pick me up so that I could drive my new Mercedes back home! He has been most helpful even when I came back with further questions on the operation of the vehicle. I would gladly recommend this dealership and certainly Bernardo as a salesman to purchase or lease your next vehicle! Rich

We met Paul a little over a year ago when purchasing pre-owned Volvo for our son. The short of it: The vehicle was and still is excellent! Better yet, Paul is the ideal car sales person, in our opinion. We have always disliked dealerships where sales people are "hanging over the railings" outside, smoking cigs, and waiting to "hook" the next customer who pulls onto the lot. Paul politely and professionally introduced himself and told us to look around, and he would be near by to answer questions. At no time did we feel pressured to look at, talk about or test drive anything unless WE brought it up. He answered all our questions and clearly knows his stuff.He is sure enough and confident enough in his inventory not to feel the need to "trash" something else that we may have looked at elsewhere. He had exactly what we were looking for the first time. His non-pressuring customer service made us feel that he genuinely wanted to get us into the right vehicle; not just "sell us a car." This is what brought us back for our second purchase: a very nice Acura TL. It happened to be the perfect vehicle for me, however, it was Paul...not the car...that made us return. Had the right vehicle not been there at the time, I would certainly have waited a couple weeks or so for Paul to find one. To our family, the sales process is as important as the car. Along with Paul's great service, I have to say that the financing process was a lot more pleasant with these folks than with other dealerships in the past. The "dance" amounted to what we could handle financially; it was not a long marathon. We have walked away from other dealers in the past out of frustration and getting tired of the game. To Paul AND the folks that helped us at Acura...THANKS! We'll be back when it's time for another car!

Although we purchased a used car that was not a brand they sold new, Bob was knowledgable about the car. The whole experience was very nice. We were treated nicely with no pressure to purchase.

This purchase was a good experience in every aspect: the dealer representative, Brian, welcomed us the moment we arrived in the parking lot, then patiently and knowledgeably helped us through the process of choosing from pages and pages of options. He made us feel like talking with old friends, followed up with us for months as the vehicle we ordered was custom made in Germany. He offered us other similar vehicles existing in their lot at excellent price as I noticed comparing them to other dealers, but we insisted on a certain configuration and preferred to wait. The vehicle was worth waiting, it has every option we needed with very useful recommendations from Brian who owns a similar one. I already recommended to my friends the dealership and their representative.

What a great group of people. They have a strong team, who are all well knowledgeable in what they do. I felt comfortable working with this dealership. They all made you feel welcome and valued as a customer. I am definitely satisfied with my experience in purchasing my first Mercedes.

From the moment I entered the dealership, I was treated with respect, ultimate courtesy. Experience far-exceeded my expectations. Everyone I came in contact with made me feel like I had their full attention. Paul, Sales, even came to the house to help me set-up the garage door opener. My dad and I both bought a new Mercedes. My dad experienced a punctured tire while driving I-5 and he dealership provided a new tire and put it on the car for him. Totally unexpected and so appreciated. Paul is just awesome!

This is my first experience on buying a car and MB of Salem gave me an excellent experience. The staff are nice and friendly with a great patience. Compared with other dealers in Salem and Beaverton, I finally chose here for the price and service are good.

The service was excellent. They came to our home and set up the Bluetooth and garage door opener for us! He even called us to offer for his help,Paul Nastari is the number one salesman in the Northwest ,all their staffs such as Sales mgr,loan officer were so nice and wonderful to us,knowledge,friendlyVery helpful,we love all of you Paul Nastari,you are so great knowledge and so kind to us,God may bless all of you and yours,we will buy another car from Paul again,thanks Paul all your help and kindness to us.We love Mercedes Benz of Salem..

I called the service department about replacing a burnt out lightbulb in one of the parking lights, and was told to come in that afternoon. The bulb was replaced under warranty, and my car was washed and vacuumed by the dealership's detail crew.Bottom line: yes, this was a minor matter, but I received fast, efficient service at an unbeatable price!I used to own a 500SEL back in the day. Owned it for 16 years and had it serviced by this dealership throughout that whole period. Their service was just as good then as it is now. If your Mercedes needs service, give Don Post a call at MB of Salem. He'll look after you.

I was nervous as a first time buyer not knowing what kind of car to get that will work for my growing family, but with the help of paul toby and chris they made my experience very satisfying and even better they got me financed with out a co-signer and I was very happy with that.I would highly recommend this dealership to any first time buyer interested in a new or used vehicle.

I was greeted by Mr. Franz "Ole" Anderson, he was pleasant helpful and very courteous. I also Met the Sale manager Mr. Toby Ogdahlas we discussed different ways of purchasing the vehicle. I would recommend Mercedes Benz of Salem. I was treated well and felt I received a fair and honest deal. I would recommend this dealership and Franz "Ole" Andersen (Master Certified Sales Consultant)along with the sale manager Toby Ogdahl. Will certainly visit them when buying another car.

I just have to express how extremely disappointed and shocked I am by the absolutely poor service provided by this dealership. This is my first trip to a dealership since I purchase my new C Class and the service department not only seemed apathetic but the entire experience was far, far below what I would expect from a "luxury" car company. I had to return (hour drive) 4 different times for 2 separate jobs because apparently it's not critical to do something right the first time. And then to top it all off - there are noticeable little white chips in the hood of my car that were not there prior, approximately 14 of them. I was told "the rain would wash them away". lol After returning for the 4th time, I was simply told that they could not help any further. They said sorry about the chips in your hood but there's nothing more we can do. I was shocked they let me leave dissapointed like that. I was so deeply saddened by this experience that I created an account to review this "luxury" dealership. I will do my absolute best to avoid this dealership although it's the closest one to me. I called Mercedes and they said each dealership is independently administered and they uphold their own standards. I purchased a Mercedes SPECIFICALLY because I was told the service was the best around. WELL, it's not. It's terrible (at this location anyways) and the experience was so bad that I wish I could get rid of this car. Really, I do. Cmon guys. If you're reading this, you really need to elevate your standards and at least pretend to care.
