I took my car in to have it reprogram to accept embrace complimentary trial and a car wash if it would not take long. I was told it would take about thirty minutes or so with the reprogramming of my car. I was there for two hours. I had to go check on my car to see what was taking so long. If someone could keep you updated with what's going on with your car and how much longer it will take, that would be helpful.

This was our first time at this dealership. We worked with James Odom. He was very professional and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in the market to purchase. He was not high pressure salesman and he made us feel comfortable with any decision we made. This was the first dealership we visited, after going to several different dealerships our initial encounter with James is what made us want to come back and purchase. The finance manager Sissi Henley worked very hard to get our payment and interest rate where we needed it to be she was very friendly and professional.

I started off with a salesperson that was extremely busy and did not give me his undivided attention. I went back the next day and was given a salesperson (James Odom) that was very professional and extremely nice. I returned two days later to purchase a Mercedes Benz and was put back with the first salesperson (Perry) that had me waiting a little over 2 hours just to get a write up on the car for me to take to my credit union. After returning and signing for the car salesperson James Odom help with Everything else and I was very pleased with him.

My salesman Perry Carr was extremely helpful with my questions, the order process, the negotiations, keeping me informed about the status of production and delivery and acquainting me with the many new features compared to my 2012 ML 350 BLUTEC trade-in. The Parts Department was also very helpful completing orders for special accessories. The Finance Mgr Sissi Henley was pleasant and very professional and answered all questions to our satisfaction and made several good suggestions.

My wife had a blowout and couldn't move the car. We called the insurance company and it was going to be over 2 hours. We called Long and they had a tech on-site to change the tire in 15 minutes. Josh the service manager was great to deal with and they even got us a discount on the tires.

In March of 2016 my wife decided that she wanted to custom-order her new car. Working with Perry and Allan, she was able to specify exactly what she wanted, knowing that there would be a wait while the car was built and shipped from Germany. The car was delivered on schedule and was exactly as she had ordered. She could not be happier. This car marks the 7th vehicle that we have purchased from Long Mercedes over the past 10 years, and our experiences with sales and service personnel have always been positive, efficient, and professional. Bought a used Mercedes with 20k miles. Told us car was never wrecked and no history on car fax report. Originally when we bought the car we expected it to be certified. Salesperson said it was but then told us when signing papers he made a mistake. Really not right. When I went to trade the car into them a few years later they told me it was wrecked prior to me owning. They offered me a much lower value. Very upsetting.

I TRULY THINK HAS BEEN FOUL PLAY AND THEY HAVE CAUSE MORE AND MORE PROBLEMS TO OCCUR SINCE I STATED COMING TO THEM IN DECEMBER IN 2015....I CONTINUE TO HAVE BACK TO BACK PROBLEMS OUT OF NO WHERE ALL WITHIN 3 MONTHS.....MARY BETH PRETENDS LIKE SHE IS THERE TO HELP YOU BUT SHE DOESNT CARE....SHE LIES ABOUT EVERYTHING I ONLY WENT TO HER BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN AND I FELT MORE AT EASE WITH HER. I was WRONG she does has GREAT customer service skills and will make you feel like she's there to help you. DONT BE FOOLED I really thought she would look out for me but she didn't as a woman to another woman. IM pretty sure she tells the guys to cause problems to the cars especially if you have once had to speak with the service manager about her NOT DOING HER JOB several times. So yes I'm almost certain FOUL PLAY was done on my car. But I will take my car to Atlanta and when I buy a brand new one soon IT WILL NOT BE FROM THIS PLACE. They have taken too much of my money. And after they fix your car they will give it to you DIRTY after spending THOUSANDS of Dollars for repairs. SHOWS YOU HOW MUCH THEY CARE. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST!!!!

I recently purchased a 2012 GLK 350 with no documentation. As I continued down the path to clearly understand of some of the more complicated systems, I realized that the available information on line was less than straightforward in addressing my questions.That being said, my call to Long of Chattanooga was returned by Derrick Walters of Longs on Tuesday and a consultation was scheduled on my next available day, the following Thursday. We met and Derrick provided the appropriate answers to respond to one of my problems. We're working on deal this the other current issue. Understand theses items are not safety or operational. They relate to the Audio 2,0 and Navi 2.0 along with controls. Derrick and I are addressing questions as they arise.

I couldn't have received better service than I did at Long Mercedes-Benz. I had an appointment to leave my car for service and every thing was ready when I got there. I had a car waiting for me to get to work. I have a Lexus also that when I go to the dealership they have always given me superlative service, but Long Mercedes did just as much if not better. Some touch up was overlooked, but David in the Service Department told me to come back at my convenience and they would take care of it. I take my hat off to all of the people at Long Mercedes-Benz.

When thinking about buying a new car, it conjures up images of pushy salesmen, fast talking finance managers, and marathon bargaining sessions that take up your whole day...it's enough to make you dread buying a car. This was not the case at all with Long of Chatt. My salesman was Mr. Perry Carr...he was professional, without being cold, knowledgeable without being haughty, and he didn't stuff me in one of those tiny cubicles for hours while he "talked to the sales manager". He listened to my needs and directed me to the car that would best suit...he quickly had my trade appraised and presented me with a thorough proposal. Never did he try to pressure me into a more expensive car or into options I didn't need, but he did explain all the features Mercedes offers, so I could make an informed decision.Their finance manager was warm and down to earth, she went over every detail of the trade and my financing to make sure I understood each part before moving on. She didn't gloss over anything and she didn't just assume I knew what she was talking about. Best of all, she and Mr. Carr made the entire process quick and simple.I recently had my car serviced for the first time, again, I found the experience to be exceptional. I was greeted with the same courteous, warm and professional treatment that I received when I bought the car. Their waiting room was clean and comfortable and the complimentary refreshments made it feel very "homey". I was also impressed with the live camera monitor of the garage...It really is reassuring to see your car being serviced, as it happens...it also helps pass the time.I can't say enough about Long of Chatt. I first found out about Long's through an Internet search for a particular car. Derrick Walters answered my inquiry and became my contact. The car I had asked about was quickly sold, but Derrick told me he would be on the look out for a similar vehicle. Within a day or so he contacted me with a description of a similar car and worked with me diligently to answer all my questions since I was about 100 miles away. I traveled to Long's, met Derrick and we worked through the process of looking at and testing the car, which I purchased that day. I think Derrick did a great job. I found a 2002 CLK Convertible on the Long Mercedes website for $4,000.00. We went to the dealership the next day and it was parked in the back with a work order on it. The salesman, Derrick, was very nice and located the keys. He had the work order in his hand and said there was a small problem with the top. We test drove it and I told him I wanted it. The small problem with the top didn't bother me. He said if we wanted it fixed that the price would go up $1600.00, so we said we didn't want them to fix the top, we will take it as is. Another man came out and said that it had not been through a total inspection, that they stopped the inspection after they found the problem with the top and that I would have first opportunity to purchase it after inspection. Derrick was supposed to call as soon as it went through inspection. He assured me the price would not change. No call for 2 days. My husband found it on the website for $7900.00 and called. He said they decided to sell it wholesale, not retail sale the car and there were other things that had to be done by the service department. He also spoke with Phillip, the sales manager, that said the top was worked on and other things done to it. We had a friend of ours call the dealership to inquire about the car. Funny....it is for sale...retail,no less, for $3900.00 more and would be an extra 1600.00 to fix the top. Very unprofessional. Would have respected someone..anyone for the actual truth. They decided they wanted more for the car and changed the price. Not what I would expect from the prestigious Mercedes Benz name.

Dealerrater.com, Thank you for your recommendation of Derrick Walters. He was a great sales associate. He quickly texted me photos of the Infiniti G37 Coupe, which they had not even listed on their website yet. He responded to my questions and once I expressed interest in test driving it, he made sure it was sitting out front, gassed up and ready to take for a spin. It was nice to have everything flow so smoothly. Once I decided I wanted the vehicle, he had the paperwork taken care of, took my money (OF COURSE) and did it all with a professional attitude. It was just nice to have someone want to go that extra mile to take care of me. I've been to so many other dealerships that were not even close to the customer service I received from beginning to the end. Derrick is a really nice man who is definitely an asset to your dealership, and I definitely plan on telling everyone about the positive experience I had yesterday.I look forward to driving my new (well, it is used, but new to me) car and will not forget about the superb service of Long of Chattanooga.

We actually went to Dealer for a recall on our Mercedes for a re-call repair. In waiting for our repair, Derrick greeted us, and we talked above the features on the newer Mercedes. Derrick's descriptions and detailed knowledge of the features we had asked about was impressive. I had been looking at a 2014 E350 Mercedes with a salesman named Chris Bell. Chris was very kind and helpful. This would have been my 4th Mercedes but I assure you I will never buy a Mercedes again due to the unprofessional and dishonest sales manager, Marcos Ruix at Long Mercedes. Chris Bell wanted me to take the car home on Christmas Eve to make sure I would be happy with it. I agreed. Chris told me if I decided against the car that there would be no hard feelings. After being in the car for 20 minutes I noticed a pet odor and I am highly allergic to animals. I returned the car the morning after Christmas on Friday December 26th, 2014 at approximately 10:00 AM. Chris Bell was not there yet so we were being helped by the sales manager. The sales manager named Marcos Ruix told us he had just purchased a 2015 E350 Mercedes from an elderly man and he would sell me the car for $41,000.00. I told him right then that I would take it. Then 10 minutes later he comes back to me and says that he made a mistake and needs $43,000. I didn't appreciate the price increase but I wanted that car so I agreed to $43,000. I told him to get the paper work prepared. I thought he was preparing the paperwork since we were sitting there waiting on him for approximately 35 minutes. Then he comes out and rudely tells us that the car had been sold to someone else over the telephone and that I could not have it.I don't appreciate the way we were treated at all. Marcos Ruix told us the car had been sold and that he did not know it was sold but he is lying because he is the sales manager and he told me the car was for sale and available 1 hour earlier. He knew I wanted the car but he sold it out from under me. I was there in the show room and he said that he had just purchased the car so I know when I told him I would buy the car that it was not sold. The people he purchased the car from was still there also. That was very dishonest and cruel! I will make sure I do everything I can to discourage anyone from buying a Mercedes in the future. This is a very poorly ran dealership and they should be ashamed of their unprofessional and dishonest behavior. I would expect this from a no brand car lot but A Mercedes Dealership!!! Really????? I hope this is investigated because we will not be letting this go.

I recently purchased a previously owned E320 wagon and love it to pieces. It took a while to find the "perfect one" for me but Derrick was fantastic and kept me up to date on what was available and what was coming in. He called me one day about a car that was available, I drove over to look it over and purchased it right away. I love driving it every day. Then when I had my wife's car serviced, Mary Beth in service was very easy to work with, helped me schedule everything that needed to be done, and had a loaner car waiting for me when I arrived. While the car was being serviced, she kept me up to date on the status of the work, and had our car ready, cleaned, and waiting for us when we returned. Overall a very pleasant experience. They have earned my respect and dedication.

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to Mercedes-Benz at Long of Chattanooga. Not only did they fail to deliver quality customer service, but their seedy sales tactics were are real let down. Please avoid at all costs. My wife and I were not treated like valued customers and Terry Lynn and the Finance Guy tried to tell us that the deal was contingent upon a big down payment even though credit rating was not a barrier! We stayed at the dealership for more that 5 hours and no deal was made; only excuses and dishonesty!Shame on you Mercedes-Benz at Long of Chattanooga! We took our business to Hunt Nissan and bought a new vehicle that was priced right and we received the VIP treatment from their sales and finance professionals. We were in and out in about 2 1/2 hours!

You never get the run around or feel they are trying to hide something from you like some dealerships do.They explain things very clearly so you know what needs to be taken care of. Michael Davis greeted me by name at my vehicle on arrival and kept me informed of the service. I was very impressed with him. However, when I was waiting in the waiting area I was the only person watching TV and at 10:00 on a Monday morning they had on Sports news channel. It would have been a lot nicer to have on Today show or Good Morning America or another news channel. I am a older woman and really not interested in sports. Fortunately I brought knitting and was able to keep myself occupied.

From the moment my husband and I stepped on the lot, Derrick Walters was a gracious, pleasant salesman. He is definitely not pushy at all. He was knowledgeable about the Mercedes ML 350 that we were looking at and we had a great test drive. I don't like car shopping at all and only do it under duress and Derrick totally understood. He told me we could get an appraisal on our trade in without the car being there but was agreeable with my husband returning with it the next day. He really tried to match the price we offered with the sales manager. We were extremely close and feel we made an excellent purchase. I have purchased 3 cars from here. Every time something goes wrong with the tag/title. I have had my title written in someone else's name in a different state, paperwork not sent in on time and this time the dealership failed to withhold enough taxes and did not follow the new GA law regarding Ad Valorem Tax. This has caused an undue hardship on me financially. I have learned from the DMV that this is a frequent event from this dealership. After contacting the dealership and requesting to speak with someone I was told that person was not in and have yet to receive a call back. Over the past 3 years this dealership has made a significant profit from my purchases/trade-ins. I would not recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from this dealer. I know I won't!

The sales representative, Dana Stancil, was the most friendly, informative, and professional representative that I have ever dealt with. Along with the assistance of Jude Weidner, and Reginald Elder, the purchase of the c300 went smoothly and enjoyable. David Rhea, the service manager, was very friendly, knowledgable, and informative to any questions that I had concerning the operation and service of the car. I would advise anyone seeking a used or new vehicle to go to long of chattanooga. I was told that as an owner of my mercedes benz that I was a member of a great family. Our last visit was for specific required maintenance. Mary Beth was our Service Advisor, She was most courteous and professional. She arranged for a loaner auto during the service. She said it would take a couple of hours for the maintenance, she called and advised the service wouldn't be completed in the time frame promised and I was offered the opportunity to drive the loaner car home, if needed. I accepted. The first visit was for a part replacement. Ashley was our Service Advisor on that visit. The part had to be ordered and again I was given a loaner auto. Ashley called each day, giving my husband an update on the parts arrival. She was very sympathetic that the part was not immediately available. Her actions during the process was very much appreciated. The Service Advisors are a vital part of Long and the company is very fortunate to have such a knowledgeable, professional, courteous and caring staff. The service we have received since we purchased our car, has been outstanding. Would we recommend Long of Chattanooga Mercedes Benz..of course we would.

I was in the market to trade my Jaguar and Will had been telling me what a great car the Mercedes was and I really needed to consider buying one. So, I went in for a test drive and was sold. After walking away from the first deal offered on trading my ML350 for a GLK, Will was persistent in trying to put together a deal that would meet with our approval, which he finally did. He saw to it that the GLK was delivered in pristine condition and even came to our home a week later to help my wife set up the GPS and Bluetooth. This is our fifth Mercedes and has been the most satisfying transaction.

Will Addington was the sales rep who accommodated us during our car selection process. Initially, we had purchased a car through Auto Trader from an out-of-town dealership. When the car arrived, we discovered that it did not meet our specifications, and Will advised us on returning the vehicle, and also gave us comparative information to better understand the model we were interested in purchasing. He worked with his Sales Manager to find another pre-owned vehicle to our liking, and we consummated the sale. Throughout the process, Will was very sensitive to our situation, and very professional in completing everything from car selection to price negotiation and financing.

I recently leased a brand new vehicle at this dealer and dealt with Will Addington. I am a very difficult customer and believe that making a big purchase/transaction like this, I deserve to be treated well. I first went to the dealership in Nashville and was treated rather poorly. Forgetting how the whole "true price" marketing strategy is just a ploy to put leverage back in the dealer's hands, the 2 sales people I dealt with (on separate occasions) were just arrogant and rude. Because of this, I decided to reach out to other MB dealers and came across Long of Chattanooga.Will Addington was very friendly and helpful and not at all pushy. He was a straightshooter and was reasonable in the price negotiation. This whole transaction spanned at least 4 months as I was waiting for my perfect car. Will stuck with me for all 4 months and fought to give me a good deal.I would recommend this dealer and especially Will to anyone who believes that they should be treated well and fairly.

The salesman "Will" told me the vehicle was a certifed pre-owned Mercedes C300. After having the vehicle for a month I took it to the dealer in Nashville because of brake noise. The Nashville dealer has informed me that the vehicle is not a certified pre-owned Mercedes plus it needs brakes and rotors which would have been checked during the certified pre-owned inspection. Plus, it took the dealer over a month to pay off my trade (and only after I had to go to the dealer and find out what was going on) but it took them two days to cash my down payment check. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. GM does not return calls.

I wanted to take the time to speak positively about the dealership and the two sales persons I dealt with. I came in with a interest in the E350 and upon entering was greeted and made to feel welcome. My inital contact was with a new saleman named Tyson and he offered me some refreshment and proceeded to answer my questions concerning the new features of the 2013 model. Tyson was very patient and put up with my laundry list of questions concerning the differences between the 2012 and the 2013. Later, when I asked a few more complicated questions that Tyson did not know he quickly found the answers and introduced me to MR.Martin. Both were very helpful and I came back the next week and bought my E car which I love dearly. In closing I was made to feel at home at the dealership and was never pressured to purchase. I would recommend to anyone considering a Mercedes to bring their business to Long of Chattanooga.

You would expect better service from a Mercedes Dealership. However that is not the case. The quality of service at this dealership is just not typical of the quality of car that they sell. You would think that they sell one of the worst cars on the market. They do not keep their word and this rating is just the beginning of my ability to complain to whomever will listen. I will write complaints to Mercedes Benz of America, the Better Business Bureau, The Chamber of Commerce and everyone I can think of.

Everyone at the dealer ship was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I have been to the service department before with problems with my SLK and they were able to fix the problem where others could not.
