I was shopping for a vehicle, so I called to inquire about purchasing. I then met Susan Arrow (Susie), and when I tell you this woman was PHENOMENAL! I told her what I wanted and she delivered spectacularly! I let her know that I needed space as I have abnormally tall children and she accommodated needs I didn’t even know I had. Susie and Louie got me approved and rolling out the dealership in no time. I will always go right back to buy from her as long as I’m purchasing vehicles and shes working. She literally left her family reunion on her off day to help me with a document, it doesn’t get better than that. Also Brody was a gem in helping me personalize the system set up and teaching me all the apraxia features (I thought I knew what I was doing...I definitely did not). The customer service is one to be matched; and as you can see, I was truly happy to give them my business! Thank you again Susie for being an AWESOME salesperson and representative!

Took my CPO convertible that I purchased from another MB in another state to this dealership for service. Shawn D & staff did an outstanding job. I helped connect them with my dealer who sold me the car and arranged for them to pick up the tab on the service for this 4 day old CPO. Waiting lounge is very comfortable with 2 desks - I was able to use one for my 5 hr wait there and get my work done. There are free drinks and snacks - only thing missing would be cell phone chargers. Highly recommend Shawn D & this dealership for their tremendous professionalism & great service!! If I have to go to a dealer, Shawn left a very positive impression with me and worth the 45 minute drive.

Our Sale Rep Christi Armstrong was awesome! She's great! We got our C 300 last year and she was very attentive to our needs for a new vehicle. We returned to her and she searched and was able to find are beautiful CLS 400 2016 mercedes. Had a few delays. But, she and her manager were persistent and had great follow up and service. Our finance guy was really cool too! Very personable staff there. They treat you like people. Not, just a commission check! I will recommend Mercedes Benz of Ann Arbor to anyone in the area looking. They rock!

Buying a used car from a dealership can be a stressful process. First, you never know how great the car is until you leave the lot. Second, you never know if the people from dealership really have your best interest in mind. With that being said, my experiences with Michael Hurley have been completely stress free. I've dealt with many car salesman in the past, none as friendly and caring as Mr. Hurley. I came into the dealership looking for a good deal, but not the best idea of what car I wanted. Michael took the time to help find the right car for me, at a price that was better than expected. In the future, I plan to purchase all my cars through him.

My family first made the move to Mercedes in 2012 with the purchase of a CPO 2010 E350 4Matic sold to my parents by the late Mike Brueger. When making the move to a luxury brand, not only is it important to have an incredible vehicle, which no doubt Mercedes is ranked among the top, but the service and experience must match that level. Unfortunately Mike passed away and when it came time to purchase our second vehicle, another CPO E350, we turned again to MB of Ann Arbor because of the phenomenal customer care we had experienced. Evan Gerhardt took over Mike's clients after his passing and sold us our second E350. The quality of communication, priority on customer satisfaction and reliability is second to none. My wife and our bought a CPO 2013 ML 350 in August and I can say from out first hand experience, Evan's work with us is top notch. I was looking for a specific ML 350 with mileage and package criteria. Evan spent a great deal of time working with me in the showroom making sure I found the right packages, features and service options on my purchase. The ideal vehicle was in their inventory but the previous owner smoked. Evan went to great lengths to rid the vehicle of the smell but after exhausting the options, the odor was still there. Understanding our needs, Evan sought out the perfect vehicle and was able to find a CPO on auction. Thanks to Evan, his truly professional and friendly personality, attention to detail and customer priority, my wife and I couldn't be happier with the our new vehicle. Evan is warm, welcoming, attentive and provided us with a zero-pressure buying experience. I have since been in to the dealership to pick up some accessories and have a tire repaired after picking up a nail and Evan has assisted to make sure the work is done within my busy work schedule. There's no doubt, the luxury experience at Mercedes Benz is heightened by Evan's work for the individual customer.

We were rushed to get a new SUV because we had an accident with our old car and it was totaled by the insurance company, so we needed the replacement car very quickly. The sales staff of Ann Arbor fully understood our situation and did all they can to help us finish the transaction in a couple of days. Micah Goss was an excellent sales professional and the dealership in Ann Arbor went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied. Although the dealership was 45 minutes away from where I live, it was worth the trip. I got the exact car I wanted (GLK 350) and I bought one that was even better, less miles and newer and the cost was not much more. Visited Mercedes Benz Ann Arbor after my husband had been talking to them on the phone for several days. Micah Goss was my sales person. My experience with Micah was great from start to finish. He was not pushy and listened to what I wanted and expected in my choice of Mercedes. I went in looking at the C 300 but found that the E 350 better suited my needs. Very bad experience with the sale person and this dealer. The sale person is Ismail, a young guy. I had a very good impression with him in the beginning. Then I realized that he lie to me every time when he spoke. two month ago, I went to this dealer to purchase GLE 300. They do not have the specs I wanted, so they told me they can order it for me. this guy told me that it would take one and half month to deliver. I deposited 1000 dollar in the following day, everything seems OK. Then I realized something was wrong, I asked him the confirmation of the order, he dids not send to me. he just drag his feet and trying to make up some excuses . and a couple days later, he told me that he will try to contact other dealer to see they have the car, so they did not need to order from manufacturer. I trusted him. And he told me finally they got the deal, it will deliver the car in the end of the May. However he still did not send any confirmation. He just take a fake picture and told me it already placed the order. two days ago, I sent a text to ask the progress of the car, this guy did not want to response by text, because it will contradict what he promised , he called me saying that it will need another 1 and half month to build and he offer me other similar car. I was very pissed off I realized this guy just play this game, he just want to sell the car they have in stock, they did not even order the car for me. He wasted me a lot of time and lies. He is holding the bible on his hand and LIE LIE LIE. Anyway, I got my refund back,otherwise I will bring media to this to expose their sale strategy. Everything I said here is true, I did not make up anything. I just want to share with people, so they do not make the same mistake I have. Do not recommend this dealer.

Service from Mercedes Benz of Ann Arbor is truly exceptional. I've had Matt Davis as my service advisor. He is such a nice gentleman, very professional and a true asset of this dealership. I don't mind driving all the way to Ann Arbor to get my car serviced because it's all worthwhile. They even provide a free loaner if they have to service your vehicle more than 3 hours. I have always bought all of my vehicles from a private seller. Mainly due to the thought that I would be over paying and having to deal with a pushy sales person who would be pressuring me into buying extra warranties and service plans. While searching online for months trying to find the vehicle that met all of my criteria, I finally found the perfect match. I was able to get a hold of Christi who set me up with a day to check out the vehicle and answer any questions. After a test drive, some questions, and a no pressure talk of payment options, I found myself in my awesome GMC Terrain that I love. Thank you Christi for being so Friendly and knowledgeable and making my first purchase from a dealership a great experience.

Evan was our salesperson and did an excellent job of providing all of the information that we wanted without any pressure. My wife and I do not like pressure, we usually know what we want and buy it. He was a good match. Everyone in the sales office was pleasant and tried to be helpful.The first time in for service was equally pleasant, easy and everything went smoothly. I am usually happy when the warranty runs out on a car so that I do not have to return to the dealership. This time I am pretty sure that I will continue to return to this dealership.

I was 1 hour away from buying a BMW, when Micah Goss called me up to advise me on a deal on a 2016 GLE. Micah was very easy and clear to work with and I am not one that likes to sit at a dealership and spend hours negotiating a deal. These guys are hands down the best dealership I have used. They are civil human beings without pretense and very honest. You can't do better. Its been 3 days that I purchased my brand new 2016 GLC 300 4MATIC from Mercedes Benz of Ann Arbor and I can not complain about the service I received at this dealership. She than offered me to test drive the new 2016 GLE, and after the test drive I was sold on this vehicle. Christianna during the test drive demonstrated all the features on the vehicle and politely asked me if i'd like to own one of these GLE's one day soon. From the minute I walked in the door, I got the best service you could imagine. Ismail Karabulut greeted me right away walking from his desk to meet with me. I was in a hurry and I asked a lot of questions about the features as I had almost decided on a competitor's car. He knew everything. You can tell he really likes the cars himself. The respect he gave me as a women coming in by myself was better than any other car shopping experience in nearly 20 years. I worked in the automotive industry for 9 years and somehow other salesmen could not understand I know about cars and engines, even when I was using a supplier or employee discount. The GLA has all the features I wanted in a small SUV, including fuel efficient features that are really paying off. If you are looking for a luxury vehicle, you will get luxury service here. All of the final numbers were clearly shown and working with Lou for lease finance is great. We had great conversations rather than expecting the some extra fee or expense would show up on the paperwork. It is nice that his office is right with the sales people, rather than around some back area like most dealerships. Even if you were not thinking of a Mercedes, once you see the value of the features and design, and the great team at Mercedes Ann Arbor, there is really no comparison.

Kyle was on time, very polite and very knowledgeable of the vehicle. I didn't want to waste a lot of time in the dealership so he already had several cars picked out ANDhe had preliminary numbers on all vehicles. The manager (Elio Coventry) gave me a very fair price for my trade (2010 E350) and a great deal on my new 2016 E350. This dealership masters on a NON-PUSHING, NO HAGGLING sales strategy. Kyle and I were laughing at so much other stuff, the approval seemed like an interruption of a good time (lol).Benz of Ann Arbor has a customer for life. I have purchased 2 cars from them and will continue this relationship forever. Kyle is the man. Wow. Mercedes Benz....A well deserved reputation earned over decades but lost in Ann Arbor in 6 months. Last November, when I tried to buy a new GLK, I was tossed between sales people only to learn that 2 of the 3 no longer worked there after about 3 weeks. So when I started working with a 3rd sales person, he was very arrogant and condescending about MB and the pricing of the cars. In fact, he didn't return calls when I left them. Well they always say that if you don't want the customer bothering, don't call them back. Ann Arbor has that down to a science. Interestingly enough, I started to ask around (other MB dealerships in Novi, Toledo/N. Ohio, and Ft. Wayne) only to find out that the other dealerships were nice and appreciative to have new business. I wish I was buying 3 cars so I could give them each some business because they were all so nice. I ended up buying from Novi because they 1) Agreed to my price, 2) had the inventory and 3) took my trade in as well as the price I wanted. Now the negotiation was not easy but we were able to make it work. MB of Ann Arbor....they never called me back. I wonder how they even stay in business. I thought with the recent change in ownership they would have a different attitude but that is not the case. Go elsewhere to get good sales representation of MB cars. Unless you like be treated like S*#!!

Beth Chavez displayed a rude and unprofessional demeanor when speaking to me in the service area. I approached her after picking up my car from the body shop. While driving my car I noticed that my notification panel was dark. I was just a few feet away from the dealership and drove in to the service area where I exited my vehicle and saw Beth. I greeted her and explained my situation . She was curt and condescending with me. Her response to my concern was " go back to the body shop and let them fix it". Fortunately as I was entering my car, I saw my sales person (Ismail)coming from the service area. We greeted each other and I explain the problem with my vehicle. He immediately entered my car and took one minute to solve the problem. I thanked him and we talked about my new car experience.

I needed an oil change because it had been a year since I purchased the vehicle even though there were only 3000 miles on it. I really didn't need the 10,000 mile check-up but because I had the prepaid maintenance plan, I had to use up the 10,000 mile check-up. I wish the prepaid maintenance plan was a little more flexible with the mileage for those of us who do not put that many miles on per year.

My wife and I have been using this dealership for several years. Whether it is to buy vehicles or to get them serviced, these folks are the best. To purchase vehicles, we dealt with Christie Armstrong , and Elio Coventry, the sales manager. I've had my new SLK for a month now, and these two are still going out of their ways to answer questions or help with any requests I have. For service: Mark Tomasi and Shawn Durham are, in my opinion, two of the most knowledgeable and helpful guys anywhere. Sometimes when you have questions or concerns, and the people you're asking don't really know the answer, they give you something that you know instinctively couldn't be right. Not these guys: They know what they're talking about. I'm pretty mechanically savvy, and I've always found that what I've been told by them is absolutely correct. Add that to some of the best customer service I've ever had, in any service facility anywhere, you have the perfect team. One example: We had a maintenance problem 80 miles outside Chattanooga. I called Mark. By the time we got to Chattanooga, he had arranged with a dealership there for an immediate service appointment, and gave us directions. I hardly had time to look around at the new cars, when ours was taken care of and ready to go. I don't know how it gets any better than that.

I usually do not write online reviews, but my experience at the Mercedes-Benz of Ann Arbor was so exceptional, that I almost feel compelled to write an opinion at this point. I recently purchased a Mercedes-Benz 2016 AMG GT-S. I shopped around at the Mercedes-Benz dealer in Novi, as well as the Mercedes-Benz dealer in Bloomfield Hills. However, when I contacted Ismail Karabulut, he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Buying a $150,000 vehicle is a big decision, but Ismail helped me in every step of the way. He was extremely professional, thorough, detailed, and responsive. Never once did I feel pushed to make the decision one way or the other. A true car salesman's appears to be a myth, but Ismail proved that to be wrong. Matt in the service center provided terrific service when I took my vehicle in for servicing. He had the loaner arranged and my total time waiting etc was merely five minutes. This is the kind of service you'd expect from MB. When I returned to pick up my vehicle everything was silky smooth and just as good. Vehicle repairs were complete and again on the road in 5 minutes.

Our experience with Evan and the entire staff at Mercedes of Ann Arbor was the best we have ever experienced. Evan made us feel comfortable immediately, and never made us feel pressured. He worked hard to get us the best deal possible (we came in with all my homework done ahead of time on the car and he was able to hit my target). He made our delivery day a special one (even arranged to have my wife dropped off at a meeting while I stayed to enjoy Evan's detailed overview of the car). His followup was outstanding, as well. Elio checked in with us routinely to make sure we were happy (we always were) and Lou made the paperwork painless (also, he never tried to pressure us into buying "extras" on the day of purchase). We have purchased cars from other top-tier brands but have never before experienced this type of low-pressure, individualized attention. We'll be back.

have been a long time customer, boughten 2 cars from this dealership and 3 overall from the suburban brand, went in because there was a bulge in my tire, as soon as I arrived they said that the tire issue is my fault and there is no warranty on the tire, later i found out there is a warranty on the tire, but the way they dealt with me was RIDICULOUS, they will not fix my tire now and they just lost a long time customer. The salespeople are great, and I didn't have a problem with service before, but now I don't think this is gonna work.

Mark was persistent and found out why my tire pressure light kept coming on. I thought it was because the tires may have been just low. But Mark took the car to the service area himself and found out I had two nails in my wheels. He didn't just put more air in the tire.he found out what was going on! I recently had the opportunity to reconnect with a Mark Tomasi of Mercedes Benz of Ann Arbor, by phone, from Chicago. I was in search of an SL 550, and while addressing my questions on a car I had seen in Chicago, Mark presented me with an opportunity to consider a car at his own dealership in ann Arbor. The rest is a forgone conclusion. Mark brought Kurt Morin into our discussions, and 2 days later they were prepping car for me to pick up. I found Mark, Kurt, and Nick Feroce to be sincere. Dealing on a car from 250 miles away is not easy, but these guys were timely, and answered all my questions. All concerns were handled, all promises kept, and I felt the 500 mile round trip was justified given the effort the dealership made on behalf. I was happy with deal,both on my trade in, as well as the new car. By the time I left the dealership I had been taken through my car by Nick, and in the time since have been very pleased at the follow through Nick has made in answering all the subsequent questions on the finer parts of the car. I have since referred a close friend also in Chicago to Ann Arbor Mercedes.

The courtesy and efficiency of the their service department was one of the biggest factors on us being loyal to buying Mercedes cars over the years. Service is usually fair priced and we have never had a problem that was not taken care of professionally, If you need a loaner - they will provide. We have owned 3 Mercedes that we have had serviced at this dealer over the years and frankly have had very little problems. Basically, by getting regular service at recommended intervals Mercedes Benz cars are a joy to own.

They took me to the waiting room and served me coffee. Though I was not buying a new car my salesman Kyle came to greet me. I was out in less than 45 minutes and I made an appointment for tomorrow to have my rim fixed (9am). The service department could not have been more professional or efficient. I LOVE Mercedes Benz of Ann Arbor and would not consider going to another dealership!

I had to bring my car in for service and pick up a complimentary loader car. The morning of my service date, I had a issue with my child and needed to make it a super fast drop off of my vehicle and pick up of the loaner car. I called Mark my service manager and explained my situation to him. Mark was very understanding, compassionate and helpful. When I arrived to the dealership, I pulled in and was greeted very kindly by Beth. Mark rushed over, had a pen ready for me to my sign my paper work, switched cars and took off. Took my low miles Mercedes in for service and was not looking forward to the bill that would be coming.. Work was done as described and when they called me and told that the service took longer than expected they simply said return the loaner the next day. No hassles and you can even schedule your service for when loaners are available so you are not stranded. Overall a great experience and that is why this is our fourth Mercedes .Bottom line it is worth to service your quality car so it lasts longer and performs at an even higher level for longer time!! No prior experience with Mercedes dealers, so maybe this is the same anywhere, but it seemed every service charge was 3-4 times the customary local mechanic rates, parts that are available anywhere were twice as much, and the diagnostic fee of $250 only got a visual inspection and 5 min checking codes on the computer. They wanted to replace a at the drop of a hat based on a computer code, There were 3 possible causes, one trivial, one replacing an expensive part, and one very expensive. They offered the second two options, but the first turned out to be the correct choice. There is nothing magic about the dealer. Even the parts prices were 50% higher than ordering OEM prices online. If you replace parts right and left, you will possibly solve most problems eventually, but that's not quality service worthy of premium labor rates. At least the service manager was very friendly, nice, and honest, not snobby at all.

I currently own 2 GM vehicles, 1 Chrysler, 1 Mercedes, and until very recently owned a BMW. I have dealt with dealerships and service centers from all these companies and am disappointed to say that service at dealerships is at the worst its ever been all around. I had my BMW for 8 years, went to the same dealership for all 8 years, and could not have been happier with the service there. I have serviced my Mercedes at the Ann Arbor dealership since i bought it there 3-4 years ago. I thought the service experience was mediocre at best until I was recently recommended to Shawn. I feel that the number 1 asset of any good service advisor is communication. Prompt, honest, and timely communication to be exact. Shawn exhibited all these traits from the first moment I reached out to him. I exchanged a series of 9-10 emails with Shawn in a matter of hours. That is much more than I can say for any other service advisor that either does not respond to email or says they will call me back and call back two days later or not at all. Shawn went above and beyond to research my warranty information and try to get my situation handled. He was honest in that respect and exceeded expectations. He answered all questions presented in a very timely manner and with precise information. My service was scheduled very promptly and the car was done much earlier than I expected. Apart from all this Shawn was very personable and polite. These traits are also very important to me as a customer. I don't have to spend money at a certain dealership, I choose to do so. I expect to have a good experience when I choose to spend money for a service and that is not simply about the car being worked on properly. It all starts with the service advisor. I feel that Shawn is one of few people who understand this and he really exceeded all expectations. This is by far the best service experience I have had with this dealership and I will continue to request Shawn as my service advisor. I also intend to recommend every person with a Mercedes to Shawn in the future. J.H.

Thanks in large part to Kyle Norman, my first experience with Mercedes Benz was a very positive one. This was our family's first trek into the luxury market so we had a lot of questions and concerns. Kyle was approachable, knowledgeable, patient, and supportive of our decision making process. He made it clear with sincerity that his primary goal was ensuring we are happy long term. He did a great job of promoting the brand, explaining the value, and helping us understand why Mercedes is so well though of. I saw the new CLA advertised and loved the looks. I went to a dealership that was closer to my home and just wasn't given the information that I needed. I decided to take a drive to a dealership that was a bit further from my home and I am very glad that I did. Kyle was right there to offer answers to any/all my questions. Nana is very personable which made working with him very fun and stress free. This was my first car leasing experience that was not frustrating. Dealing with car salesmen is not always pleasant because they are so pushy and are only concerned about making a sale. However this is not Nana's approach he is professional and does not make you feel like he doesn't have time for you. He really worked with me and I found that very admirable. This is my second Mercedes Benz in the last 6 years and have visited other dealerships a couple of times during this period, however my recent experience at this dealership was more enjoyable, which influenced my decsion to purchase there after a very short period of interaction with Nana Ntow. Nana is a young, well cultured gentleman, who patiently explained all options to me and tried very hard to give me the best offer possible. He answered all my questions intelligently and gave me several followup calls even after delivery to make sure everything was fine. I previously bought a 2008 ML350 from same dealer. I know the ownership of this agency has changed since then, but in buying a new 2014 ML350 I had the same positive experience. The Salesman was courteous and knowledgeable. The pricing was within the exact range that I expected for both the MSRP discount and trade-in value of my 2008. I had done my homework prior to coming to the dealer and pretty much knew in advance what range I was considering would be a fair price. Coming to agreement quickly with the salesman confirmed my respect in that they didn't try to haggle with me. Since some features had changed since 2008 the salesman was able to point these out to me and quickly sent me some Mercedes instruction videos that made setting up Garage door sync, Bluetooth sync and iPod integration a snap. I would recommend this dealer and specifically Mr. Karabulut to anyone interested in a Mercedes-Benz.

I just purchased a new 2015 E250 Bluetec. I'm very pleased so far! I previously leased a C300, and Mercedes-Benz of Ann Arbor provided me with great customer service. In fact, I almost looked forward to my car service, as it gave me a chance to get away from the office and work uninterrupted at their dealership with free coffee and cookies. But alas, the service was always done quickly and I didn't get a chance to stay very long. I got a flat tire last year. The Mercedes emergency service amazingly came within five minutes after I called for help. The dealer quickly replaced the rim, no questions asked -- glad I bought the tire and rim replacement package. I found the driving experience of the Mercedes C300 better than my previous car, an Audi A4. Based on the engine location, the A4 has a lot of forward momentum which makes it less stable on fast curves. Also, the A4 developed some rattles, but the C300 never did, despite my frequent driving on dirt roads. Finally, I got into an accident with the C300 (someone ran a red light and hit my car's rear end hard as I was leaving an intersection), but the C300 sailed through with only minor damage and was good as new. Compared to the Audi A4, the C300 seems more stable and resilient. Based in part on my experience with the C300, I ultimately decided to buy a new Mercedes for my next purchase. I worked with Nick F, and he was great. I started looking at cars many months before the purchase, including the Cadillac CTS, Audi A4, Audi A6 and BMW 5 series. Each car has their strengths but I thought the E250 fit me best. Someone called the car "eco-chic!" Despite the long process, Nick stayed with me, always cheerful and positive but never pressuring me to make a decision. He promptly answered my phone calls and E mails with detailed and patient answers.I just took ownership of the new car yesterday and it looks even better than I anticipated. Nick oriented me to the new car and answered my additional questions by E mail this morning. In summary, in contrast to some other dealerships, I truly enjoyed working with Nick and the rest of the MB of Ann Arbor team. Going there makes me feel happy and satisfied -- that is what a luxury car is all about.

I purchased my Mercedes vehicle back in July, but, after recently contacting Evan, I quickly remembered that I owed him a review.My quest for a new (and my first) MB started at the Novi dealership. They didn't have what I wanted, so I checked out MB of Ann Arbor and fell in love with a vehicle they had in stock. I spoke with Evan and he gave me a lowdown on the vehicle and access to the vehicle for a hands-on experience. After spending about 10-15 minutes with the vehicle, I told him that I would get back to him if I wanted to purchase.Fast forward to the next day, I decided that I wanted it, so I worked with Evan again to secure the deal. It took about a week to finish the process, due to me being out of town on a business trip, the dealership changing owners (to Suburban), and personal items to handle. He was very courteous and patient with me from start to finish. The little things, like offering me a bottle of water, made a big impact. I had a bunch of questions for him, and he was able to either answer them, or, if the question required additional research, he would look into it and get back to me as soon as possible.There was also an episode where I accidentally ran over some debris and one of my tires was punctured by a nail (fortunately, the car was still driveable and the leak was very slow). I purchased the Tire/Wheel warranty from the dealership and, as soon as I got home, I attempted to call the hotline. While I tried to submit a claim via the hotline, they were closed after 6PM. It was also a Friday, so I would not be able to get a hold of them to submit a claim until Monday. I called Evan up, and he explained to me that, if I could get my car to the dealership, the dealership would be able to accommodate me first thing in the morning on Saturday. I was elated, and made sure that my punctured tire was able to make the trip. With some air and some prayers, I made it in and got serviced almost immediately. I worked with the service manager and he took care of me, mentioning that the dealership can submit a claim on my behalf on Monday. I also met up with Evan, who came to the dealership per my request, to make sure that I was OK.I still contact Evan from time to time about questions and requests. He's very dependable and I will always go to him first for anything related to my vehicle. I am sure there are other great reps in the dealership, but I am glad to have worked with him.

Not having bought a new vehicle in ten years, I did a lot of research on various makes and did the usual internet search of dealer inventories. Mercedes Benz of Ann Arbor had the best selection of both new and used vehicles. I was most interested in the CLA 250 and they had two at the time. The car is beautiful and an awesome ride. Nick Feroce made the entire process from my trade in to final purchase a pleasant experience. I did not feel pressured at any time and all financing options were explained in detail. I am totally satisfied with both dealership, personnel I worked with, my choice of a new vehicle, and final purchase.

Even though it was a busy morning at the dealership Evan took the time to explain the differences between the various models and talked to me about various options and features that were available. Evan worked out a very fair trade in value for my existing vehicle and in the end we were able to take home the one from the show room floor a beautiful E350! Evan made sure it was cleaned and polished before we drove it home. Since we were in a bit of a hurry on the weekend, Evan came to my office the next business day to explain how to use the electronics in more detail. Overall, a great experience and a great product. I will an MB driver for life. When I am ready to trade in Evan will be the first person I call.

My experience was exceptional. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The sales process was consultative and low pressure. The overall atmosphere of the dealership was low key, comfortable, with nice amenities. However, my recent purchase at Mercedes of Ann Arbor was truly enjoyable. This dealership is the worst we have dealt with.They advertise cars on Ebay and other online sites. But act like it is a major inconvenience to give ball park trade in values. Someone that advertise online needs to understand that possible customer don't want to spend all day driving to their dealership without a ball park trade in price.We had been in the market for a Porsche Panamera 4 and they had a used one that meet everything we were looking for. We had 2 cars that we could have traded towards it. One was a summer only car and the other was my wife SUV. We were looking at Panamera for the replacement for either. They advertise "True Price" and we understand that but Issue with that is you still have to haggle with trade in value.

A certified pre-owned Mercedes should be perfect when it is sold. Mine was not. The car had problem since day 1, and repeated attempts to fix it resulted in a "oh, we can't find anything wrong with it. I had to go back and forth for 3 week to get my car fix. Also, I had to prove these people that there is something wrong with car by going to the another mercedes dealership and get a paper work stating what's wrong with the car. That is unacceptable. Finally after 3 weeks, they agreed there is a problem and they SWAPPED MY WHEELS AND TIRES FROM ANOTHER USED E CLASS. That is just a shame, I still don't understand how car actually passed all the certification process. It is clear what the dealer should have done. They should have taken my car back and made it right the first time without me having to deal with these issues over and over again. Any dealer should do this, especially Mercedes Benz. My problems still remains and emailed general manager Bryan, he responded me back other day saying" I have to understand that I bought a used car and he can not satisfy every customer".... By the way he also made my 1st payment and put gas in my car for my satisfaction ... Well that's not what I wanted, I wanted to get my car fixed right. That's all I wanted.I paid 41k for this Certified Pre-owned Mercedes and it's not fair to me and I should get what I paid for it. This was my dream car and I finally got it , but you messed up my dreams Mercedes Benz of Ann Arbor. Thanks a lot. I will never ever buy a car from you ever again and I will make sure I will share my experience with this dealership to everyone I know.

A certified pre-owned Mercedes should be perfect when it is sold. Mine was not. The car would not start only a few days after I purchased it, and repeated attempts to fix it resulted in a "oh, we can't find anything wrong with it." That is either incompetence or indifference. Leaving a buyer of a dealer-certified, premium luxury car in constant worry over whether he will be left stranded with a dead car -- from day one no less --- is unacceptable. This goes without saying. It is clear what the dealer should have done. They should have taken my car back and made it right the first time without me having to deal with these issues over and over again. Any dealer should do this. Mercedes-Benz must do this -- exemplary customer service is supposed to be one of their hallmarks. And as of this post, this issue with my car remains unresolved.On a personal level, I think the people I dealt with were professional and courteous, so it is a bit strange that as an organization this place exhibits the stonewalling behavior I received. It almost seemed like sales finished their job when I signed on the dotted line, and service just did their thing like I was a random guy bringing a car bought from another dealer. But I am not a customer of "sales" one day and "service" another. I paid this place a lot of money for a car, and the after sales experience should reflect that. Simply put, it is the job of the whole dealership to ensure that I get the outstanding luxury car for which Mercedes-Benz is known.The epilogue to this episode is as follows. After receiving the initial email above, MB AA went into reactive mode and tried to take care of the problem. One guy said "this is the first I've heard of the problem," but this misses the point entirely. As I indicated above, I have no issues at all with the people on a personal level, but rather it is the organizational culture that seems to be in place. The dealer needs to make sure that the sale doesn't stop with the guy walking out the door. When he/she comes back within a week, red flags should go off everywhere to make sure the person's issues are addressed.The next dealer I took the car to fixed the problem right the first time. When I called to explain the issue, they said something to the effect of "we may need to do a lot of detective work, so we may need to keep the car a couple days." I like that. As it turns out, the problem was simply the battery. Unbelievable. The service advisor (whose numerous awards on his desk seem well-deserved) saw the battery was over three years old and rightly gauged this as the low hanging fruit. He then mentioned (prior to servicing the car) that testing the battery is not a black and white thing. In particular, it is unreliable to test the battery just after charging (which the AA service tech said was done with my car), but it has to sit quite a while for the battery to go back to its "steady state" mode. As a former engineer, this made perfect sense to me. Sure enough, with what I assume was a more thorough approach to testing, the battery failed the test. As an aside to MB corporate, they should revisit this hard stance on warranty replacement of battery only when their tester indicates failure. As any engineer or mechanic knows, tests are rarely if ever foolproof, so mechanics should be given discretion when their experience and "rules of thumb" indicate something is wrong. As an aside to MB AA, a lot of headache on every side could have been prevented had they simply replaced my battery. And I don't care what their tester said. It was the problem, and they did not find it. Penny wise, pound foolish.

Evan was very friendly and helpful and spent a good deal of time with us, helping us to narrow down what we wanted and showing us the car we bought, an ml550 SUV, which had just arrived and hadn't even been detailed yet. We came back twice to drive all the cars, and he even arranged for us to take the car home so we could see if it would fit in our garage. He was gracious even when we brought it back covered with mud, because we live on a dirt road. Gary was very helpful in getting us a good trade-in value for our Infiniti and we had no problems with the paperwork. This person should have been told to wait until after my appointment. The salespersons had my cell phone and knew I was driving an hour or so to get there. They could have called to cancel. This was one of my best car purchase/lease experiences (and I have been buying cars for40+ years). Lyndsay was charming, knowledgeable and convincing. The price was excellent (much better than those of competing dealers) and the sales manager's willingness to make it happen efficiently was superb. Leonard (financing) was available and quite a pleasure with whom to work. The car was delivered to my garage and the paperwork completed in my home which saved me an 80 mile roundtrip drive! There was a distinct feeling of honesty throughout the process. I might also add that this dealership seems attuned to the times with a Costco agreement and a true dialoguing presence on the internet that others do not have.

Very good experience from start to finish purchasing a used Acura. I had totaled my car, and needed to work quickly. I had to navigate working between the insurance company and the dealership, and Kurt made it easy to purchase the car fast to get back on the road. The car was nicely detailed and they represented its condition well. My only complaint, and it is minor, is that the car had about a quarter of tank of gas in it when I drove off. Had such a complete "Mercedes service" experience up to that point, that it seemed odd to not have the car filled up before driving off. Overall, this is a a very good team - everyone I met was friendly, honest and very pleasant to deal with.

First off the dealership itself was wonderfully clean and well kept with a very nice showroom. The girl in the front was very helpful and handed us off to our sales associate, Evan Gerhardt. Me and my wife are both in our late 20's and have been to many dealerships and oftentimes it's obvious that they don't take us seriously due to our age. Evan didn't hesitate to show us what we wanted to see and he didn't even ask if we had the means to purchase. We test drove one used and one new and ended up buying the new vehicle. I brought my GL450 in for service and received a fairly new Mercedes GLK as loaner. When I returned it 2 days later, Larry pointed out that the rear Mercedes logo was vandalized (the circle was missing leaving the star intact). I was shocked to see that and yet speechless as I am responsible for the loaner car when I signed the loaner agreement. My wife always park at the same UM garage and we parked the SUV in our garage overnight. We never have any vandalism to our own Mercedes before. I admitted I did not pay attention to the rear logo when I drove off with the loaner 2 days ago. But Larry just took a good look at the logo and me and said there is no problem and he will take care of it. I am happy that Larry believe me. My own Mercedes was repaired, cleaned, light bulb changed (free) and ready for me. I am a very happy customer. Thanks Larry and Mark.

Man oh man, where to begin. Wanted to get my E55 AMG aligned after I had just bought a set of new tires from Discount Tire. Called the dealer to set up an appointment. They said they had time that day to do it. I specifically asked if they had a loaner because I had a lunch date. They said they did. Told them I'd be there in 15 minutes and to have it ready for me. Arrive there to drop my car off, they didn't have any loaner vehicles available for me. Luckily I was able to get a ride so no big deal. I asked Lance approximately how long it would take to get my car done and he said two hours. Went and had lunch, took my sweet time too, got back there three hours later car still wasn't finished. Then I had to wait around another hour before it was done. Needless to say, not the greatest first impression. They had told me that it was pretty far out of whack before and they had to make some adjustments. Went on my merry way. Not two miles from there, I go through an intersection that I've gone through thousands of times and all of the sudden my stability control kicks on and one of my front tires brakes a little bit right in the middle of the corner. Took it on the freeway and now the car wants to jump from lane to lane. I call them back and say that my alignment wasn't right because even with the alignment being so far out of whack before, the car never did that. I set up another appointment and asked them to make sure that they had a loaner for me. Drop it off for the second appointment, they had a loaner which was great. They kept the car all day to make a minor adjustment. When I got back they said that some bolts were in backwards and that was why the car was driving strangely because the caster angle was off. It was off. but only 0.02 degrees which wouldn't make the car jump from lane to lane. I told Lance that I knew this angle doesn't cause what he's describing, but just to humor them, I agreed to have it done. Make a third appointment and leave. As I'm leaving, I noticed that my car now has a clunk from the front suspension it didn't have before. It was very slight so I didn't pay much mind to it. Show up for the third appointment, got a loaner; all went smoothly (dealing with Larry now). They put the bolts in and now the alignment is all in spec. Leave the dealer, car still drives strangely. It drives in a perfectly straight line, but it just wants to jump over a lane with very minor steering input. Needless to say that's not how cars, in general, are supposed to drive. I also noticed that my average MPG from almost a full tank which was at 23 MPG for 320ish miles was now down to 17.8 and they only drove 5 miles. Great, now they're out ragging on my car. It's a fast car so the urge is there to floor it, but if it's not yours DON'T BEAT ON IT! Call them back again and tell them that it really didn't change anything as they promised it would. Bring the car back for a fourth time. Supposedly they checked it all out and everything is fine. Car still doesn't drive right. Bring it back a fifth time, this time I know that they didn't do anything to it other than wash it. Eventually I had a phone conference with the general manager and the service manager. During this phone conference Larry, the service manager, tells me that my car had other worn out parts that were causing the issue. Why the xxxx wasn't I told this before?! Also, if I'm coming back for the same problem over and over again, why didn't they have the technician that was working on my car go for a ride with me so I can, in detail, show him what my car is doing? Instead of doing things the right way, they just made excuses. And instead of trying to right the problem, they just gave me my money back for the alignment; not for the bolt kit that was supposedly going to fix my car. I took my car to the dealer because they're supposed to be the best at working on that line of cars. I couldn't have been more wrong. It sucks that they're the only dealer within 30 minutes of here. I need to have some dealer specific work done (installing a new NAV unit) and now I'm going to have to drive out of my way to get it done. This service department seems to only view its customers as numbers. It seemed to me as though the service advisors acted put out because I only wanted to get an alignment done. Every customer should be treated equally. Just because I wasn't spending big money then doesn't mean I wouldn't in the future. And because of my poor treatment there, I went out of my way to write this review. If you've made it this far, stay away from this dealer for service work unless you ABSOLUTELY have no other choice. There's lots of smaller shops in the Ann Arbor area that work on Mercedes and will do a WAY better job and treat you right.

I bought a 2007 GL450 from Mercedes Benz of Ann Arbor in 2010 and wanted to purchase a newer pre-owned GL.After solicitation from MB, I made an appt. at the dealer and was left in the lobby waiting for over 20 minutes and then was pawned off to another associate who embarrassingly told me (still in the lobby) that there was no way I could afford a new vehicle. I knew that before I arrived as I was looking for another pre-owned vehicle. After an e-mail to the General Manager who then told me that he would personally help me with the best buying experience I ever had, I thought things would be different...Nope. No alternatives found even though there was a national year end pre-owned event ongoing.1 month later, we took our vehicle in for yet another $3K repair bill (and yes, not even a car wash after the diagnostic), the Pre-Owned manager proceeded to give us an embarrassing amount for a trade-in value ...5 minutes later we were at another dealer across the street who gave us a respectable value for the trade and we're now driving something other than a Mercedes. All this after we've consistently serviced the vehicle in Ann Arbor and "the edge advantage" was supposed to provide a minimum of $1000 more than any other trade in value. What a joke!

Awful Experience. Irresponsible sales staff. I wish I had never walked into this dealership. They don't know how to treat high end customers. I purchased my vehicle in June and yet to receive my registration plates. They keep sending my temp tags which expire in two weeks and my car stays in the garage. I am unable to drive the vehicle and they are not willing to take responsibility. I will not advise anyone to ever go through this experience at MB Ann Arbor.

I purchased a certified S550 from Marcus whom advised me that because the vehicle was certified it had a completely new brakes. I had the vehicle for approx. two weeks and the brakes started squeaking. I've taken the vehicle back four times and after claiming front brake pads was replace the rear brakes continue to squeak.I've talk with management and I continue to get the run around, I'm very disappointed in the lack of customer service that I've received.

This was my first visit to Mercedes-Benz. I had planned to look at other dealerships and other types of vehicles but while having a casual look around the lot after hours I was surprised by some of the deals on offer on some amazing cars. A few days later, after test driving other cars, I decided to have another look at Mercedes. Russ greeted us and I have to say that I was not looking forward to the "hard sell" which I often felt was typical at dealerships. I shouldn't have been concerned. Russ was not at all pushy and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He spent a long time with us and we took a couple of cars out for a test drive. Never did he try to push us towards anything; rather he provided a lot of information and answered our questions in a low-stress environment. We were in the dealership a long time and even when there were some hiccups with my paperwork, nothing was too much trouble for Russ. The atmosphere among all the employees and their customers was very relaxed and friendly; everyone we interacted with - even for a few moments (such as Frank and Robert) - was very friendly. The whole process was a breeze. I did not expect to be taking a car home that day but I am so glad that I did! I cannot be happier with my 2009 E350. And to see my car sitting there on the red carpet with a big red bow was a lovely finishing touch! Russ has encouraged us to call him with any questions down the line. I cannot recommend this dealership highly enough; never did I think that buying a car would actually be so stress-free. If you need a car, this is the place to go. You won't find better customer service anywhere else. Mercedes now have a new loyal customer.

I received excellent, professional and friendly service from the moment I pulled my car into the service bay for the turn in of my previous lease vehicle. I was immediately greeted by the service manager who introduced himself and went to notify my sales person I had arrived. My sales person was fully prepared for my arrival and had his material ready and then took me to the F&I manager who was also fully prepared for me. The entire process was very professional, frienly and efficient. From the moment I set foot on the lot, the salesperson (Jill) greeted me with a friendly smile and was prepared to answer any and all questions I had about Mercedes Benz vehicles. On my second visit to the dealership, Jill was away at training and the pre-owned manager, Bob, greeted me and he literally spent hours with me going over features on the vehicles I was looking at. We walked into the dealership just to browse their used car selections and drove out with a wonderfully cared-for used 1999 Mercedes-Benz E-class 320. It was a trade in from previous customers many years ago, which speaks to the high quality of product and business. Our sales person, Evan, was sensitive to the fact that we are a young family with a young child, and put us in a roomy and safe vehicle. They even negotiated the price. We have done business with other luxury car dealerships in the metro Detroit area and felt totally discarded once the check cleared but this could be further from the case with Mercedes Benz of Ann Arbor. Most telling of their thoughfulness, professionalism and superior service is their handling of problems. We had an inadvertent oil spill in the engine of the car which we detected when we drove off the lot. We returned the car immediately and they fixed it promptly and thoroughly. They checked and double check the service. They also offered us an nice loaner, our next maintenance on house, delivered our vehicle to our home and most importantly reassured us that they were available if we needed any further assistance. I hope to work with them for many years to come and keep my family in Mercedes-Benz through business with the Ann Arbor dealership. These gentlemen are A1.

He has always been able to identify the trouble quickly; and when he has more than one option that could be taken in the repair, he calls me at home. The work is always done on time. I knew the exact vehicle I wanted and I had researched pricing. I selected Jill from the list of salespeople based on nothing more than she looked competent and trustworthy. I contacted her by e-mail which included an introduction and a detailed description of what I wanted. She presented me with a great deal. No haggling or back and forth negotiation or pressure to buy more than I wanted. Following a couple of e-mails and phone calls and I bought the vehicle sight unseen. When I arrived to sign the paperwork, the vehicle was fully prepped and ready for me. jason has been our service guy a couple of times now and really goes out of his way to make a good experience...the last time i met him he stuck his hand into my car headlight to change it and seemed like he would break his hand , but it did not matter as he wanted to make sure it got done....this time around he changed a new piece for my ipod adapter and MADE SURE IT WAS THE CORRECT ONE!!..hats off to jason collins...NOW, ON THE OTHER HAND!!! i was really disappointed by the cashier/phone answerer gal, whose name i have no idea..but when i asked if my car might be done she said:"I HAVE NO IDEA" she said i just work up here and its really busy..then quickly asked for my name so jason could call back...i think she could use better phone etiquette or maybe make the effort to find out!!...lousy quality service!...as well, the parts guy brought out the piece for my ipod adapter and simply gave it to me..after i asked how to use it, he said he didnt know but there were instructions..then he laughed as it was in german...then he walked away without even thinking of helping....jason , then took it and said it was the wrong part!!..walked back to get the right part and made sure it worked...THE POINT IS THE PARTS GUY DIDN'T CARE AT ALL WHAT I HAD.....my wife even commented that she felt the cashier and parts guy were really poor service.....

After driving my car for about two weeks, I heard a slight noise. I contacted my sales person and he worked with the service department to get my car in ASAP for a check.Jason Collins of the service department was wonderful to work with. He is very friendly, he made sure my car received priority, he explained everything to me that was done to adjust and test the vehicle, and when he called to say that the car was ready, he had my paperwork in his hand and my car was ready to go the moment I drove up. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated with courtesy and respect for my time, which is presently at a premium. Jill Woods and several other members of the sales team stayed well past closing time to allow me to test drive and inspect a used vehicle, insisting that it was "no big deal" that I was keeping them late. The car I found was precisely what I wanted, and while it has a few minor imperfections, I have yet to encounter anything that wasn't immediately and candidly disclosed by the dealership right up front. I also feel that I got a very fair price after a quick and no-nonsense negotiation...absolutely none of the used car sales tactics that one might encounter at a lesser dealership. I will definitely do business with this dealership again, and when I do, I plan to ask for Jill Woods.

We had an appt but when we brought the car in, they realized that they hadn't ordered the parts for my GL 450. They rescheduled and picked up the SUV, dropping off a loaner, letting me have it for 2 days while they not only did the repairs but detailed my car to make amends . It was spotless when they dropped it off at my house (using razor blades to clean the windows apparently to get the residue off) . I rec'd a gift of a MB key chain on top of it. Everytime I bring it in for service or to have a CPO item taken care of, they let me know if they see anything else that needs attention, even if it is another CPO item. This earns my trust and loyalty. We have never experienced this sort of attention to detail at any dealership before (Honda, Toyota, Ford or BMW)

We called roadside assistance for flat tire from our house. Service came to our home and placed the spare tire on the vehicle and ordered us a new tire. When the tire came in, we took the car into the dealership where they quickly replaced the tire and had us on our way in a snap. Quick and easy. We had only had the car a few months. Our sales experience with Mike Breuger was superb! Mike is a true gentleman. His demeanor is professional without being pretentious or overbearing. I consider him a friend. I really enjoy working with him and his knowledge of cars, not just MB, is amazing and always interesting. He is a true motor-head as am I and we both appreciate quality and excellence in motor cars. I had been in and out of the dealership for over a year looking at various models and contemplating a buy, and Mike was always attentive, friendly and never, ever pushed a sale on us at all. Very unusual over that period of time. That's a big deal with me. Any form of sales pressure and it's out the door ! Totally unacceptable, but we never got any pressure with Mike, even after taking over a year to decide to buy. It was this true friend attitude and zero sales pressure that convinced us to purchase from Mike and MB of Ann Arbor. We have been in for various reasons several times since, and sometimes just to say hello and we are greeted with the same friendly manner every time. I would recommend to anyone to speak with Mike, "Mr. Benz" at MB of Ann Arbor and I know he will give them the same excellent experience he gave us. And the service and parts guys are the best! I was heading out of town when my 2007 Mercedes S430 engine belt broke leaving me stranded on the side of the e-way. It was 7pm and I knew the dealer was closed at this time. Keith informed me to contact him if I ever had any problems with my car. So...I called Keith Solomon and even though they were closed he contacted a tow truck for me. I would recommend the Novi dealership which has a far nicer physical facility and much better customer service, even if it is a drive. I was extremely surprised with the poor service I received at MB Ann Arbor since Mercedes is known for its excellent customer service. My less than 1 year old Mercedes C class was towed in since it wouldn't start. No one called me about my car that day and the dealership was closed when I tried to call them. The after hours phone service was not working - it would ask you to dial the extension or press "4" for a directory then hang up on you. I tried every number found (at least 6) in the yellow pages, internet and dealer's own site - got routed to the same faulty disconnect or directly to a survey asking how the call went???? when I called them the following day the service consultant was busy and operator said he would call back. He didn't call back for 3 hours...I called him and waited on hold. Eventually I talked to the service consultant - he didn't know what the status of my vehicle was. Eventually he called back and asked me to bring in the other key (10 miles away and I have no car) - I got a ride there and did that. Still no calls from MB - called again the next day (day 3) - same experience with consultant not available/will call back. Eventually I was told that the car needed a new DIS module but they couldn't get that in for a few days (this car is a C class less than 1 year old - fully under warranty). No loaner car was offered - I expressed my irritation and need for a car and they said that they could get me an Enterprise loaner (I would have to pay insurance) and that Enterprise would call me. I have not heard from them yet and can't believe the lack of attention to the customer. Maybe I will get my car back someday.

Stood around in the showroom for fifteen minutes while four salespeople (including the sales manager) sailed on by without so much as eye contact. Two other salespeople were chained to their desk and couldn't be bothered. There were only two customers in the showroom at the time. However, people who walked in after me were waited on promptly. Not cool and very rude. Brought my concerns to the General Manager who did nothing about - not even so much as an apology.
