From the internet to the time I drove away in my new Mercedes. I can honestly say that the process was very smooth. I got the car I wanted with absolutely no haggling or any pressure. I had the pleasure of meeting David Snyder, who in my opinion, is an excellent Sales Consultant. He was never pushy, just pleasant throughout the whole process. It was truly a wonderful experience. I was so happy with his professionalism and ability to answer all my questions accurately. I would also like to acknowledge the woman who was successful in finding me an APR that was lower than the one I was pre-approved for before I walked into the dealership. WooHoo!This was the highlight of the whole deal, particularly because it was unexpected. I'm sorry i can't recall her name but she presented the final paper work to seal the deal. I just want her to know that I really appreciate what she did for me and my pockets.One last thing, all of the staff that I interacted with were great. On that note, I would definitely recommend Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates, ANYTIME.

I called same day to test drive a 2016 GLE 450 because I was looking to upgrade from my 2016 Macan. David Snyder was extremely courteous over the phone and got me in within the hour without any hassles. Austin greeted me at the door and kept me company before David took me on the test drive. He was very helpful and took the time out to ensure I was comfortable and got me all the information I needed to make the best decision.I walked out with the GLE same day without any regrets because it was exactly what I needed. My wife loves it and I couldn't have asked for any thing more. I had a great experience and highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase vehicle.

We had the best experience at MB - Hoffman Estates out of every single dealer experience we have ever had. Sylvia Dziuba exceeded our expectations and her customer service is second to none. She should be leading training workshops on how to provide customer service and professionalism to all the sales folks at Hoffman Estates. Probably all of MW locations! Possibly make a "Top Gun" from each location and create an elite sales advisory board in order to build best practices for your dealerships to shine and out-perform the competition. I have leverage wonderful talent like this in the past. Sylvia is that special in every way. She is not fakey at all and our family truly believed she had our best interest in mind! We are new to the area and she helped us believe we were in good hands at MW. We are telling everyone we know about Sylvia and MW. It's because of Sylvia that we purchased our car form you guys. She also introduced us to numerous other team mates and they all seemed awesome as well. I purchased a used Mercedes 2 weeks ago from Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates and love my car. I live in Houston and flew into Chicago to purchase a vehicle they had advertised online. From the first time I contacted their dealership, Dave Schneider was extremely helpful and if he couldn't answer my call right away he got straight back to me. I was shocked by the customer service of other dealerships I was trying to deal with, and a large reason for my decision to buy all the way in Chicago was great customer service and great prices. When I arrived in Chicago, I was greeted at the airport with a complimentary shuttle provided by Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates. It took the hassle of having to rent a car and find my way around away, which added to the great customer service experience.As with the nature of business deals, things sometimes don't go exactly as expected. I had really done my homework and there were some unexpected obstacles, but they handled everything very respectfully and in the end I am another happy customer! Thank You all :-)

Let me start off this review by saying that the star rating is based upon my experience with the finance manager, James Russo. I will discuss this momentarily, but I first have to give FIVE STARS TO MY SALESPERSON, David Snyder.David is just about the friendliest (genuinely) person I have ever met, let alone at a car dealership. He was professional, courteous, and informative. He showed his passion for cars and explained all of the features in detail. I ended up purchasing a 2016 CPO E350 4MATIC from David a few weeks ago. The price negotiation and the paperwork all went smoothly with David. Unfortunately, the Finance Manager would prove to be the complete opposite of David.We had a seat with James Russo and were getting ready to sign the final paperwork. He started explaining all of the extended warranty options. We listened patiently until he finished and politely said "No, thank you." I was purchasing a 2016 car that I am not planning on keeping for more than 3 years, and the warranty that I already had would be for a total of 4 years. Right when I said that, James said "Are you serious?" I felt shocked that he would say such a disrespectful and rude statement to a client. I was then asked by him to explain why I wouldn't want it, and then he started talking about claims on my last car, which was older when I got it and had more miles on it. This car didn't even have 3000 miles on it. Anyway, as a result of this treatment, I lost my confidence in my decision. James' aggressivity was a way to pressure me into purchasing the additional warranty. I ended up doing so because of this, and I was very upset afterwards. I ended up filling a cancellation form, but now this is causing all sorts of problems with my loan. I was told by Mercedes that my monthly payment would remain THE SAME AS IT WOULD BE IF I WERE PAYING FOR THE EXTENDED WARRANTY with a shorter term. I did not sign up for a shorter term with a payment higher than I budgeted for. I now have to try to refinance this loan after waiting for it to be corrected. I have had to call B of A and MB multiple times and wait forever on hold. This is why I rated the dealership 1 star. This interaction with James tarnished the whole experience of buying my car, and I now wish that I had not gone to this dealership. I expect to be treated with the utmost respect and like an adult, not a child. I have one more shoutout, and it's to the product specialist, James Collela, who was very pleasant to work with. I hope that the manager of this dealership will discuss this type of sales tactic with James, and I truly hope that the rest of the dealership does not encourage this type of behaviour.

I was in the market for a used 2015 Benz 400 E coupe with reasonably low miles for a price which was below Kelly blue book. I wanted to trade my 2010 350 E Benz Coupe and get the Kelly blue book price I was after. In addition I got a discount on the car I purchased. I got 1.9% financing for 4 years. I discovered a hole in the carpet the next day and the dealership repaired it to my satisfaction. Ronnie Brazier did a good job and was very accommodating.

I recently bought a 2017 GLC300 and I have to say that it was all thanks to David for helping us through out the process and answering all of our questions. I was sold an absolute USED CAR LEMON! Buying the car on May 31st, the check engine light came on after a week. I've had to spend $1,000 on transmission repairs, $800 on emissions failures. The car lost all power at an intersection with my daughter and we were almost t-boned. Today, I just recently had to take it to the shop to get my AC checked out and turns out it is leaking freon. So it just blows hot air. To get that assembly fixed, it'll be $1,800. I understand used cars are sold "as is" but I'm confident this car was just washed and NOT LOOKED AT BY A MECHANIC. Potentially $3,600 in repairs before I have to get my first oil change. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR USED CAR INVENTORY. I wrote and left a voicemail for John Kyriakopoulos - and of course silence. STAY AWAY!!!

We recently were in an accident that totaled our 2008 ML350. The police officer said that our ML saved our lives so we decided our next vehicle would be another ML350. As soon as we walked into the dealership we were greeted by a smiling, friendly and very personable sales employee, Sylvia! She made us feel welcomed, no pressure, helped us find exactly what we wanted. We came back as we promised and wow, we felt welcomed and treated so well!! My wife and I went to see the new 2017 E 350. We had a 2014 E350 to turn in the lease. David Bennett greeted us. I told him what we wanted. To my surprise David said the E is a 300 and a 4 cylinder. Wow I was not happy. He said lets test drive it. We did and David explained everything before we took off. Great ride we loved it. Now the price. David, John Kyriakopolos and Tom Herwehe all worked to give us a price. We told them we were going to another dealer to check out. We did than came back to Hoffman Motor Werks. We bought and are extremely happy we did. I liked that everyone pitched in.

The worst costumer service ever! Dropped off my car, i was told it would be ready in a few days, it took them 3 weeks to fix it. I always had to call them to get the status of my car, on top of this, they lost my car key the day I had to pick up my car.

Best customer service on car repairs on the planet, period ! Lynn in service and Steve as my service tech took the time out of their busy day to video tape my major safety problem and text it to me so I did not have to take off work and make another trip over there ! Awesome. I did not understand since I am not a mechanic but they showed me the tape and I was blown away that they did this very nice thing for me and my safety. No one has ever taken the time to do this for me until now. I will always take my Mercedes here for this. What honesty these two have, great duo this company has with them. I will be forever back !!Thank you Lynn and Steve for helping me and looking out for my safety as well as the publics ! :) You did not have to do this, but you did. No one can put a price on that.

Scott Feinglass is our Service Consultant and he is excellent. I brought my car in to the Service Department because my sun roof had shattered while I was driving. He helped me through the process of an insurance claim, he offered a free loaner while my car was being repaired and he kept me up to date on the part order and installation. He spent a few hours with me and my husband - even while his lunch was getting cold. He also performed a Diagnostic Test on the car and we did go ahead and have this dealer complete all repairs and maintenance items for about $4000.00. He came out to greet me even when I was at the cashier to make sure all was going well. I can't say anything other than every time we have had issues with this car - warranty or otherwise - Scott has been there to help and make sure that we were satisfied with the absolute utmost satisfaction. Nothing is nicer than to pick up a repaired clean car - especially in this situation when the shattered sun roof glass was falling into the car as I drove.

Purchased a pre-owned vehicle from this dealer. Everything was perfect on the car. Had new tires, new brakes and I was very pleased with everything. Then the next year I came in to service and the experience was even better. I drove in and Jason Palmer took great care of me. As I was waiting he took me out to see everything they were doing and Gary the technician was very informative about the repairs and even showed me some features on my vehicle. I highly recommend this service department to everyone. I would not go to anyone else but those 2! I will always buy a Mercedes Benz because of them.

I did a cold walk-in to the dealership without an appointment and Raul greeted my wife and me promptly as we walked in the door and was able to answer all our questions on the spot. Within minutes we were on a test drive in a vehicle that was similar to what I was looking for, but just not quite the one I was willing to purchase. Since the vehicle I had wanted was not available and the next years model had not arrived, Raul kept me regularly informed via email as to the status of deliveries and again, answered many of my questions when I asked with prompt and professional courtesy.As it turned out, I had a change of events and ended up purchasing an Acura instead. When I informed the Internet concierge that I no longer was in the market for a vehicle, I received a congratulatory email from Raul later on that day even though the purchase was not through him or MotorWerks. I find that a very class act and will definitely refer anyone I know that is in the market for a MB to him and this dealership. When I am in the market again, I do plan to come back in and look him up.

Went to MB of Hoffman Estates looking into a 2012 CLS 550. From a previous visit I knew a sales person that I like - David Bennett. I test drove the car and I liked it . Listed for just shy of $46000 . I had 2010 Infinity Fx 35 for a trade in . My desire was to finance the CLS and have a payment of maximum $200 more then what I was paying for the infinity. They said they'll put the numbers down and call me with an answer. Next morning call came in and David told me that I need to put an extra $4000 down in order to get the monthly payment I wanted. I asked if they can reduce the price of the vehicle , since there were a few similar cars in the region listed for way less ( lower miles also) . The answer I was given by the manager was basically NO.Which is OK , but 20 days later the car is still on their lot and now they are asking $42000, which is exactly the price I needed in order to get the payments I wanted . It's funny that this dealership doesn't want my business. If we get into the word DEALERSHIPS we might find that it's about dealing and cutting a DEAL. In my situation I offered a mutually beneficial DEAL , the " dealership" turned it down . Poor deal making , Poor dealership

I had been shopping around on the internet for a used vehicle and came across a few on the Motor Werks website. I was fortunate enough to receive a phone call from Alberto Fourlios who was so pleasant to talk to. I had a unique situation where I only had limited time frames to be able to meet with him to look at and test drive cars. For almost 2 months, Alberto was so patient in understanding my circumstances and instead of calling day after day, he asked my permission to email cars that would fit my requests as to what type of car I was looking for. When I finally had a day to come and look at vehicles, Alberto had the cars I was interested in ready for me to look at, and I am now the proud owner of a beautiful (and beautifully priced) vehicle. I cannot say enough about how pleasant and patient Alberto was to work with. I highly recommend to anyone that may be in the market to purchase a vehicle to meet with Alberto. Everyone in the dealership, as well as Motor Werks Honda and BMW in Barrington (where we also test drove cars) were extremely pleasant. Worst dealer-mechanical experience EVER. When it comes to under warranty repairs they will go through xxxx not to do it. Back and forward with them for a month. Tried to be polite, tried to yell and scream, went to a manager- nothing worked. Apparent oil leak either from the oil filter housing or the power steering tank. After a week of "Checking" they came to a conclusion that there is no problem and the car is fine- yeah it's totally normal for a 2012 C300 with ~27k miles to have the whole front of the engine covered in oil. Went back- showed the engine to a supposed "manager" shoved his hand in there got it all oily and then he promised at least they will clean it because " i'ts probably something old that had been fixed"- yeah Casper came one night and magically fixed it. Another week goes by- the car is again diagnosed FINE and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. Engine is still covered with oil.Either extremely stupid and their mechanics are idiots or just plain lazy and cheap!The best or nothing... Not with these guys!

My wife and I came across a Chrysler 300 listed on line by this dealership and decided to call about it. From that first call I was put in contact with Nikhil Patel. He was very polite, helpful, and made me feel comfortable talking with him. I asked for more pictures and information about the car and he sent it to me within minutes of hanging up. We talked a number of times by phone and e-mail before deciding to go look at the 300. Being out of state and 1 1/2 hours away I really didn't to make the trip for nothing and I told him so. Nikhil told me if I come and see him he will make it worth it for us. I found 2 more cars to look at other dealerships on my way home if this deal didn't work out. When we got there and met Nikhil, we looked the car over, took it for a test ride, and knew we wanted it but the numbers had to work out. Nikhil told us he didn't want us to have to visit any other dealerships, and that he will make this work out for us, and he did ! We are so glad he did because not only do we like our new car, but we didn't have to stop and shop at any other dealerships on our way back home ! Not only will we use and recommend this dealership, but Nikhil Patel has 2 new customers that will call him first. Thanks again Nikhil, Dan and Joanne

I ended up going into this to take a look at an S550 that was advertised online. The evening prior, I had looked at a different vehicle at a different lot, and wanted to make sure that I covered my bases. The Mercedes experience was a great one, the staff was very informative, and from a financing perspective the team was quite flexible. Usually a car buying experience has negative connotations associated with it, however, in this situation everything was positive from my salesman (Nikhil Patel) to finance (James) and to my Product Concierge(Nina). The team was thorough, courteous, and very conscientious as to my needs and what I was hoping to accomplish. While there was a little pressure, it wasn't over the top and the experience was much different than your "typical sales experience." So to the team, thank you! and I love my new Automobile.

Bought a CPO E350 on Novemeber 10. Complained about erratic transmission 5 days after purchase. They reprogrammed. 15 days later rebuilt transmission. 3 weeks to get Mbrace working. Car was out of service for 37 days of the 60 I owned. John the sales manager was rude and disrespectful. After discussing a return they agreed and then two hours later John calls offers me 25% less than what I paid saying this is the going value and all he will give me. Hung up the phone on me when I questioned him on this. I put less than 1000 miles on this car. Mick Austin the GM took over 48 hours to respond to my first call. Then I returned his message within 2 hours and he never called me back until I complained 48 more hours later. Overall terrible experience. I lost big time and was treated very poorly. I will never purchase a Mercedes or from MotorWerks again.

I haven't personally worked with the sales department, but the service department is unlike any other. This dealership is staffed with very professional service technicians and service advisors, and everytime I leave this dealership, I know that the vehicle serviced correctly the first time. Matt McGinn always makes it happen, he takes his time and shows you everything cool about the vehicles. The car originally ordered came in with incorrect equipment. But they made it right. They got me a car is quickly as possible with the specifications I wanted and treated me very well. They honored their original deal and through a few things extra. Despite the mixup and the extra month wait I was very pleased with the process when it finally went forward. They gave excellent service my only problem was that the buying Took an extra several months because of the error. In the end it was a great experience. I was very impressed with their delivery procedures, the explanation of the equipment on the car, and the follow up.

I have been on the market for a vehicle for a while and most definitely done my homework on many vehicles and compared many aspects to make the decision as well as I have been in car sales myself before so the customer service part was a huge aspect in the decision making process and I am beyond happy with everything I got at Mercedes Hoffman Estates. When I entered the dealership I was properly greeted and not overwhelmed with sales harassment. The sales person not only listened to my needs but asked questions to truly fit me into a proper vehicle as well as figure out a better option as far as financing and leasing. During the test drive I was shown many features of the vehicles that I did not know from the info I read online and the sales rep Zack Amato was very knowledgeable in the product which most definatley swayed me from Jeep Cherokee to Mercedes GLA Crossover which was a very tough choice because I originally like the Jeep better for personal use reasons. What added to the experience to make it a great one....phenomenal customer service did not end at the sales person. I was amazed who knowledgeable, pleasant, experienced, helpful and welcoming every representative in the dealership was: sales car manager, financing department and even the person that was delivering the vehicle. Granted I expected great experience due to it being Mercedes but having prior experience of purchasing a car at Mercedes Chicago and definetly must say its a breath of fresh air. Of course I must add that the vehicle itself is amazing and definetley helps people have their needs met and be able to afford it. Thank you very much for a team effort to Hoffman Estates IL Mercedes for making it a great experience!

We have many of the same customers and shared some stories.Ron was very diligent and very helpful ( even though a Packer fan)The gentleman in finance wasn't all about hard sell, but informative and had some great boating tips. I visited to test drive a Cayenne. Ended up not liking the vehicle as much as I thought I would. But the follow-through in arranging my test drive was excellent and professional. The test drive experience was very good - salesperson - Kathy Gorecki - was very knowledgeable about the car which was helpful as the interior was confusing in layout. The Pre-owed Manager, John Kyriakopoulos was very helpful when I said I needed to go test drive a BMW at another dealer, he put no pressure on me once he realized he didn't have the model I wanted to test drive and offered an excellent trade-in price for my Boxster. Went to buy brand new Sprinter truck,spent half a day finding the right one,made a deal,filed up all the papers,and at the end all i got was Mercedes Finance Bank closes at 2:00 PM,you gotta come back Monday.Way to go guys...Do not recommend at all whatsoever

Excellent inaugural buying experience with MB of Hoffman Estates. Zach Amato was alert, attentive and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Negotiations over price on our new ML350 were painless in large measure because the dealership was willing to adjust their initial trade-in offer for our Lexus RX400 to the appraisal number we came in with from CarMax. Zach was able to quickly locate the exact model we wanted and everything involved in picking up the vehicle five days later was first class. We are very pleased.

One of the more pleasent car buying experinces we have had. We were disappointed in the quality of the 2011 RDX was considering going back to a Q5, researched the GLK 350 and stopped on Saturday to test drive. Was met by Tom Herwehe who provided us an overview and test drive even though I was clear with Tom we were not going to buy that day. Over the course of the next week Tom provided me information that I had requested and we did settle on a CPO 2013 GLK 350. Very satisfied with the car and the service ove rthe last year has been excellent. Will definitely be back when we replace the 2006 A4 convertible.

Mercedes Benz is a class into itself. Top of the line treatment is what you get when dealing with this exceptional brand.They do not settle for anything lower. The whole experience from beginning to the end goes exceptionally great.Trying to find the smallest blemish is hard and the staff is extremely professional and courteous. We wish that everybodyout there shopping for a car could have a similar experience. Car buying for us before this experience was dreadful at best,maybe comparable to a root canal. Definitely Recommend!I walked in to the Barrington show room on Wednesday, January 15 knowing next to nothing about Mercedes-Benz. I had been looking for a couple of weeks at Jeep, Ford, Toyota and BMWs. I was getting quite frustrated looking for a high end model within a mid-size SUV that did not include leather seats. (I am an animal rights advocate and avoid all animal products whenever possible.)By shear luck, I was greeted by Ken Betts as I entered. He promptly sat me in ML350 and walked me through all the controls, even lettin me start it up inside the showroom! He lifted the hood! Something no other dealer had done. He walked me through the safety features, reinforced engine compartment with crumple protection, triple-latched hood, engine recess zone...all of it. The dirt/sound perimter sealing was a nice plus and I was nearly sold.We went on a short test ride and he demonstrated the superior road handling, including start and stopping power in the ice and snow. Very impressive!When we returned, he had be drive through the back lot, and then through the service center explaining what the service experience would be like. Again, something no other dealership offered. We talked about building a new car to my specifications and I was disheartened to learn it would take up to 3 months.I thanked him for his time and went home to talk it over with my wife and she was okay with the decision, but 3 months was just too long. I had my heart set on a new car and never considered used. But it was looking more and more as if I was either going to have to compromise my principles and get a new Ford Explorer with leather, or settle for a lower model Jeep Grand Cherokee without leather (and without a lot of the extras that I wanted.)However, I was impressed with the great follow up by Leah Ruscitti who helped me identify a good used (practcally new) 350. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it was very close. On Friday, January 17, I arranged to meet Ken at the Hoffman Estates location where it was located. Ken arranged his schedule to meet me there as I was visiting customers in the area.We took the car for test drive and it was even better the second time. The rest of the process went smooth as we settled on price and financing was a breeze. Elizabeth helped me come up with the right downpayment amount and payments to meet my needs.Before I left, Ken introduced me to the service manager, the accessories manager, Ashley(?) and then walked me through some final operation details.The follow up in the four days since then has been amazing! Leah and Ken have both asked how everything is going. Ken provided a cheat sheet on garage door synching and Leah will be setting me up with a service tag for car washes and other services.I would definitely recommend both Barrington and Hoffman Estates Motor Werks!

I purchased an ML350 in late August, by December there was a transmission problem which was a problem from day one that was not indicated to me. Two months later I'm smacked with a $2,000 repair bill that was a dealer only fix. I probably wouldn't be as upset about the issue but when I called back to talk to STU NELSON, I was told that their was nothing he could do and that the part would have gone bad anyway. If the car was inspected by a Mercedes Benz dealership why is it that im having problems with my transmission so early? The service here was terrible, not only did they overlook a problem with my car from the very beginning they also took it upon themselves to charge me for irrelevant services that only "they could fix". I am beyond livid and most definitely regret buying a car from Infiniti Motor Werks at Hoffman Mistakes.. I mean Estates. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from here, it's terrible. Unlike me, do your research on any dealership you choose to buy from because some will sell you anything if you have the right amount in your pockets.

This is a terrible place to go, to have your car serviced. I have a 2006 clk 500. The Person i dealt with was Scott. Initially it was a normal visit. My car had a knocking noise coming from the front. After the diagnostic Scott told me the a/c unit was tearing apart. Which was causing the noise. And burnt oil smell in side the car. When i came to pick up my car, the service they provided was poor. They did a car wash and scratched my car. Yet alone the oil smell is still there. The car is now wabbling.And the noise is still there. Which Scott said was comming from a different part of the car. Some thing he forgot to mention i guess when initially diagnosed. Now after spending 3 K, the car is running much worse. The noise is still there, the burnt oil smell is still there, When braking the car is shaking. The only 2 issues prior to this that my car had was knocking noice that started to come from the front of the engine and secondly the burnt oil smell. So i called them back and been told 10 different times that i will be getting a call back from the service manager. But i guess either he forgets or doesnt have time for his customer. If you want your car to be ruined. And experience terrible customer service and techs. Please visit this dealership. Otherwise i suggest go some place else.

I certainly thought Johnathan was a sharp young man but as I am 60 years old, the game car dealers have to play still baffles me. When a salesman has to go off and consult with his manager it no longer endears trust. It's a bad business practice at all car dealerships, not just Mercedes of Hoffman Estates. Otherwise I found the expediancy better here than at other dealerships I have purchased a vehicle from in the last 10 years. Probabaly 6-7 vehicles so it's with some experience i say that.

This is my third vehicle purchase (E320, C300, E350) from this dealership and I am completely happy. My preference is not to haggle over a price and the negotiation process took about ten minutes which included the walk from the sales person's desk to the sales manager. Salesperson Chris Mcanany was humble, down to earth and always willing to help. He actually came in on his day off to work with my schedule. Dan, the finance guy was also patient and explained all options available to me. My financing was approved beforehand and Dan took the time to point out that I could get better financing through MB with fewer payments for a lower amount. Scott, my service person helped me keep my E320 in great shape. As such, I was able to get top dollar for my trade in. Thanks to Scott I have had a great relationship with MB Hoffman Estates and look forward to a continued mutually beneficial relationship knowing my car will always be taken care of. Top to bottom, MB Hoffman is a great place to purchase and service your mercedes. This will always be my dealership of choice.

I have 1 issue, the right side mirror does not adjust. The saleman and I failed to check it so I need to get it fixed. I am too far away from Hoffman Estates to bring it back however dealerships here in Chicago will suffice.Bottom line though is it's a good car, I believe, for my wife and grandkids.

Travelled about an hour to get here, but well worth it! My salesman Kevin was the best. This was my first Mercedes, and what a great experience. Great service, clean car and facilities. My financing was quick and painless, they answered all my questions, and told me all about the functions of my CLS. Overall terrible experience with this dealer and Mercedes. Basically they would not fix my sunroof switch under warranty because I did not service the car there. There is no disclosure in warranty booklet with any manufacture the service is required by the dealer. They said I broke the switch where other Dealership exchanged it with no questions, and it was not broken just faulty. Wanted to charge me $1000 where part costs $267. Bought 2 cars there and will never buy another in fact after this experience with them and Mercedes Headquarters who by the way did nothing to resolve the issue I bought BMW. Will never buy another car form their group of dealers and I change cars every 2 years.

I bought a 1984 380SE Mercedes from my cousin in 2007 and I bought a 1994 300TE in 2009. After experiencing the quality of the ride of these previous Mercedes Benz vehicles I knew that I wanted another Mercedes in 2012. I also knew that I wanted a Mercedes C320 0r C240 Wagon for my t-shirt business. There is just something about pulling up to a potential customers place of business and getting out of a Benz that makes a statement about you. After 4 months of internet searching I found a 2003 C240 Mercedes at Range Rover at Hoffman Estates. From the beginning each person I spoke to was courteous and professional. Once I was connected to Mary I knew that I was going to buy from them. She immediately established a rapport with me. I told her how much I wanted to spend and in 35 minutes we met each other half way and reached an agreement on price. I had the car shipped to me via a carrier and I was kept informed during the entire process. Even when the car was delivered the delivery guy had nothing but praise for Mary and the people at Range Rover at Hoffman Estates. Plus the car was so clean in and out that all of my neighbors commented on it. Furthermore when there was a problem with some wording on the bill of sale while I was at the DMV to get my tags; David faxed the proper paperwork and I received my tags without leaving the DMV. Now thats service!!!!!! I would recommend this dealership to everyone and Mary; I will be back in 3 years to purchase a Range Rover. Thanks for the great experience.

I would recommend this dealership based on our interaction with Mike Perez. He was friendly, informative and extremely helpful. He went out of his way to accomodate us by coming in on his day off, and showing us multiple options until we found a car we loved. Would highly recommend this dealership. I went to a few before stopping at Motorwerks. The others were slow, extremely salesy, and abrasive. Motorwerks was calm and seemed to actually care what kind of car I wanted instead of what they wanted to sell me. It's clear that it's family-owned because it just has great vibes. I'm a mom looking for a used car that would be dependable and in a good price range. When I found this vehicle this Honda Pilot on line and saw where it was located, I must admit tha,t I was a little intimidated by walking into a Mercedes Benz dealer. But a good deal is a good deal so I went in on a Monday night. I met Larry, whom I had talked to on the phone earlier in the day, and he was a tremendous help in getting me financing and helping me navigate the car buying experience. For the first time ever I didn't hate buying a car. He even made sure I drove my car home that night because it just started to snow and the tires on my mini-van were AWFUL!I am extrememly happy with my experience, the vehicle and the price of my "new" Honda Pilot. I have told everyone I know about your dealership, the amenities of services (comfortable surroundings, free car washes) and Larry. From the moment I drove up in my beater mini-van and then walked through the doors I was treated exceptionally well. I highly suggest NOT going to this dealership. I have a 2011 C63 AMG and I needed a key made. Seems like a simple request. Apparently not. A friendly associate greeted me at the front and walked me back to the service desk. So far so good. Then for some reason they said I had to pull my car around the other side of the building. So I did. After pulling into the area as requested the service person on that side said I had to pull around to yet another side of the building. Heres where it got bad. That forced me to back out of the in garage. Of course there was someone pulling in so that left me little room to maneuver. I ended up popping over the curb slightly with both driver side tires. And anyone that knows how easy it is to bend the alloy rims on a C63 AMG knows that this will cost me $250 dollars per rim. OK. Believe it or not at this point I was a bit annoyed but still pretty fine. I pulled around to the other side where a guy greeted me. I asked if he could help me make a key and he looked at me confused. So then I asked to see a manager. After waiting 5 minutes for the manager to come out instead the same clueless employee came back out saying he can take me to the manager. When I walked with him to see the manager (Ill let you guess) Thats right! The manager wasnt there. At this point the clueless employee looks even more confused. At that point I decided to leave.All this said I now have intimate knowledge of the thee sides you can enter and exit the Hoffman Estates Mercedes dealership, (suspected) two bent rims, no key and one Mercedes Dealership that I wont be buying my next Mercedes from.

Bought Sprinter passenger van on Saturday, promised delivery no later than Wednesday. Called several times to confirm, completed all paperwork and payment prior to delivery. At each call, received different stories....clear now that original delivery date was never doable. I had previously made appointments, and commitments for out of town long weekend, and purchased the vehicle based on delivery commitment. Have now had to cancel those, including deposits made based on your promise. I was told someone was physically going to Iowa to pick up the vehicle. District manager said my check would be available at closing...it was not. On Thursday morning, George committed to Thursday by 2pm. Not only did I not get the vehicle, no one ever called me all day with status, or to say the Thursday date could not be met. It is now Friday, I was just notified it is in....too late for the plans I made ...and with no acknowledgement of previous conversations. I had found a used vehicle, available immediately,before I checked with you. I upgraded to a new vehicle and gave you the business because of your promises.

When I started looking for MB E350s, this dealership offered the greatest selection and lowest prices. I purchased a 2008 pre-owned Mercedes E350 4Matic and MB of Hoffman Estates was clearly the best deal in town. The purchase experience was wonderful. I have brought the car in several times for maintenance and they were very attentive and the service work was done in expert fashion. I actually had four new tires put on the car, too. After shopping the tire prices with four different name brand companies, MB of Hoffman Estates turned out to be the best deal in town. I highly recommend this dealership.

I purchased a 2012 C300 series, I explained my needs and was clear on the price. The sales person charged me more and the manager sees it as a "misunderstanding" therfore there is nothing they can do. I trusted the amount of the sale but they played with words and numbers.... WOW what happened to the customer satisfaction were did it go? I am just another sale, they claim I am the only one who complanied about a offer that I was not satisfied and I was not clear. Nice going... You lost a long term customer

I purchased ML350 last year and as a condition of the purchase rear bumper that as bent and not fitted properly should be fixed. But they did not fix it when I took the delivery. They asked me to bring it back later. I took it back after month or so on Dec 2011. Then again they did not fix it. I reported back again saying it was not fixed. They claimed that they replaced with a different bumper. But the problem remain. When I reported they asked me to bring it again. Since I am 30 miles away did not get time to drive many times, the sales person who sold us said bring it in next time when I need servicing. This year I took ti for oil change and reported the problem again. They said they will look at it but did not do anything. I reported again and they said they will take the car again and address it. But after taking the car now they say the bumper needs to be fixed that will cost me $875/- The whole experience is pretty bad and I had to drive my car 4 times for this issue that is like 4 * 60 = 240 miles just to the dealership. With my use of this car, it will be like 3 months worth of driving. At the end they are now refusing to fix it.Bottom line is: be careful with this dealership and get everything in writing and get it checked before you take the vehicle or avoid this dealership if you can.

I never expected that buying a car could be a pleasant experience until I started buying my cars from Mercedes Benz of Hoffman Estates. From the front desk staff to the owner, everyone is very helpful and they treat their clients like family. Since I started buying my cars from them, I can never see myself buying a car anywhere else. I have purchased many cars from them, and I have referred everyone I know to go there. Unlike most dealers, their great customer service starts when you buy the car. Their service department's customer service is absolutely second to none. They are truly the Nordstrom of the car industry.

At the time of sale I was promised an (expensive) accessory.When I called to pick it up, the original salesman was gone and the manager refused to honor the salesman's agreement with us.We were offered the part at cost which was not a good deal at all.DO NOT do business with these people. They are sketchy. I will never go back.

My wife and I just had one of the Best car buying experiences that we have had in a long time. Our sales person, Kevin Schroeder really made our experience enjoyable, hassle free, and relaxing. Relaxing is just not what you would come to expect from buying a car. One of the most important reasons we have had such a great experience is that Kevin, continues to take care of us well after our purchase. He has made sure items that needed repair were done and extra parts that were needed were ordered and installed as promised. Overall communication during the sale and especially after the sale (even months later) are excellent. I highly recommend Kevin Schroeder in your vehicle purchasing needs and we will be going back to him in the future.

I've been looking for a mother's day present for my wife and i went to Mercedes Benz of Hoffman Estates to see what they have. I was greeted by a super nice guy named Michael Perez. He showed me around the dealership, offered me a drink and also told me all about the different models that i was looking at. I finally bought my wife a C300 4Matic at an incredible price and interest rate. I took delivery of the vehicle on the same day and while waiting for all the paperworks, I was approached by the GM Mick Austin and offered us a freshly baked smores. My experience in this dealership is awesome. Now, I'm thinking of purchasing a ML350 hopefully by the end of this year.Good luck to you Michael and keep up the good work.

I'm waiting for my clk 350 to be delivered, but I've been working with Kevin Schroeder and he has been fantastic. I live outside of DC and had my heart set on a white clk 350 with tan interior. I found Hoffman Estates online and they had my car with only 16,000 miles. I found the same car in Pennsylvania and Virginia Beach with a bit more miles, but Kevin's service was too good to be true that the shipment didn't matter. Kevin sent me a personalized video showing me the car and anything that would be a concern. It was beautiful. There wasn't a thing amiss. Further, any questions I had about service and warranty were promptly answered. It will be shipped Wednesday and I will report back. Kevin is very knowledgable and I would recommend him to anyone!

Mark was wonderful to work with. I live in Wisconsin and I had to communicate through e mails and he was happy to do it. He answered all my questions since I could not see the Mercedes myself. We drove down to Illinois paid cash for the car and left the dealership in about 1 hour. It was great! He knew that we didn't have a lot of time so he made sure that the car would be ready and detailed. The dealership is huge. When I first pulled up it seemed small until I went to the back of the building and it was the biggest Mercedes Lot that I have ever seen. Amazing selection, beautiful big showroom, great auto service area, waiting room was nice and clean with refreshments, and Mark did a wonderful job. He is patient, friendly, trustworthy and an all around nice family guy. I highly recommend this dealership and Mark!

After taking my 2004 ML350 to a different dealer that couldn't fix it, a private repair shop that couldn't fix it and a major repair chain that couldn't fix it, I called this dealership and they were able to fix my car once and for all! It was worth taking my car an extra 35 miles away because this service team actually knew what to do. The service manager Mark was very helpful and my actual service employee contact Steve was great. Steve explained everything that was wrong with my car in a way I could understand it and most importantly, it finally got fixed! A few days after, there was a small issue that continued, but I brought it right back and they fixed it again quickly and it was fine. A couple months later, we were leaking transmission fluid so I called them again. Steve informed me my car could be towed to them through the MB road service and after I did that, my car was fixed in less than 24 hours. Even though there are MB dealers closer to me, this will be my go to since they are actually able to fix my car and Steve is great to work with.

I was in search of a Pre-Owned Dodge Nitro. I saw one listed on cars.com on Sunday 2/27. Although the dearlership was closed I contacted them to express my interest in the vehicle. To my surprise early Monday morning about 8:45am, I received a call from one of the sales associates in regards to my inquiry. Shortly after my first phone call I recieved a call from Kevin Schroeder and discussed with him my interest in the Dodge Nitro. After providing Kevin with the information needed to present for the loan, Kevin provided me with frequent updates about the process all over the phone. This is great customer service since the car buying experience can be very lenghty. As the end of business day was closing, Kevin suggested I come in and take a look at the car and go over some final details on the sale. Once we arrived at Hoffman Estates Mercedes, we were greated by Kevin and other staff members with a smile, hand shake and a friendly "Is there something I can get for you". I was very impressed with the manor in how the associates at Hoffman Estates Mercedes Benz treated their customers. After we were approved for the car Kevin made sure that all of our questions were answered and he has even followed up with me just about everyday since I've purchased my car. Over all I am very pleased with the level of professionalism that was displayed with everyone at Hoffman Estates Mercedes-Benz and would recommend them to my family and friends.

Buying a car sight unseen from a dealer several states away can be a daunting experience. I found myself in this situatio when my Mercedes Benz was totalled after an auto accident and had to replace it with another car. I found the Mercedes I liked through the internet and called Mark at MB Hoffman Estates to discuss. From the very beginning he was extremely friendly and helpful. He put my anxiety at ease by explaining the finer point of purchasing a CPO Mercedes and by giving me information on the particular car that interested me. He went as far as sending me a video of the car in adddition to the many pictures that were posted on their website. When it came to purchase, Mark was very prompt with the paperwork and secured shipping and transportation for my car to be sent to my home. My husband and I went to several dealerships to look at cars before we purchased our E class. We inevitably found most of them to be focused on pushing their own agenda- as one expects- but we were pleasantly surprised when we came to Mercedes Hoffman Estates. Mark Malatsik was down to earth, friendly, and very respectful towards us, therby putting us both at ease. He never tried to force any opinion or sale on us and understood that two intelligent and educated people are able to think for themselves. Mark was very attentive to our questions and extremely knowledgeable about Mercedes. He made the buying experience a real pleasure because we never felt pressured and always felt that he was treating us fairly and with honesty. After we purchased the car, Mark took the time to give us a thorough tutorial so we would be well versed in the car's equipment. Melody (who manages extra services) also took the time in a low pressure manner to offer a wide variety of services and additional options like tinted windows. She was easy to work with and delightful as well. Exceptional service was provided. My husband and I went in to look at leasing a new car. From the beginning our sales person listened to everything we wanted in the car and assisted us in finding exactly what we wanted. Every question about the car or similar cars in the class, he could answer. No one at the dealership pressured us to make an immediate decision. My husband and I continued to look around at other similar dealerships and returned back to this one as it stood out by far. The car offered the most features for the cost. Overall the cost was very competitive. My husband and I were very pleased with the experience from beginning to end and will continue to do business here.

I just picked up my 2011 E63 from MB of Hoffman Estates which I had special ordered after a 3 month wait. I worked with Mark Malartsik on the purchase. Overall, I had a great buying experience. Mark was very easy to work with - I did not feel pressured at all. At the same time, he was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions about the car I was ordering and he understood the market dynamics well to help us arrive at a fair deal. He was also very good at keeping me updated throughout the long 3 month wait to get the car. My good experience extends to my dealings with the Sales Manager, John, and the Finance Manager, Peter, as neither I nor my wife ever felt pressured to buy anything we didn't want or need or ever felt uncomfortable through the whole process.When I am ready to buy again, I will definitely look to Mark . . .

Searching for very specific features in a gently-used, MB Certified 2007 E350 4Matic led me to the Internet and Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates. Being in Salt Lake City, I was uncertain about making a long distance purchase. After an initial inquiry, Matt McGinn called to learn about my interests and requirements. He soon recommended a vehicle that was in stock. I viewed pictures and received a virtual tour explaining the condition of the vehicle. We drove from Wisconsin to this dealership to purchase a hard-to-find 2007 E350 4matic wagon. Kevin Schroeder was extremely accomodating, patient and knowledgeable. A week ago marks my 2nd car from Motor Werks; a 2010 E 350. I was set to keep my 2007 BMW until I test drove the 350 which fit my budget & I liked it's new look & the softer ride. My 3 years of Motor Werks service department visits have been exceptional, including one visit on a Saturday with no appointment to repair damage I did to the underbody shroud; which was done while I waited. Mark kept in touch for the last 3 years & I didn't shop other dealers at all. No pressure, just freindly service from sales, dealer management, & also the car wash attendents, who I visit every few days. Mark was sensitive to what I wanted to spend & got me there. I've only driven 700 miles & haven't figured out how to use all the features, but I enjoy the car & working with Mark and his team has been a pleasure.

This is the third Mercedes that we have purchased from Mercedes Benz of Hoffman Estates in the last three years. We have a S500, CLK convertable and now a ML 350 4matic. Mark Malartsik worked with us on the two recent purchases. He is very professional and knowledgeable of the Mercedes line. Mark is also quite patient and very responsive...he listens and then makes suggestions. Great person to buy a car from. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership and Mark Malartsik.The service person that we work with at this dealership is Jason Erhart. Jason is great! he is knowledgeable and easy to work with. He strives to make sure any service issues are handled correctly and timely the first time.dp

I bought a used 2007 S65 from this dealer in August 2009. It was one of the best buying experiences of my life. The whole process was handled in a very professional and friendly manner. John Karoumi (sales manager) was very personable and professional. Mark Malartsik (sales person) was very knowledgeable about the entire vehicle and especially the "command system".The service person I use is Jason Ehert. He is always helpful, friendly and above all, responsive.Definitely a great place to consider for your next purchase.

I own a 1999 CLK 320 with 35k miles on it. The car would not start (crank but not start) also the blower motor would not stop, even with the car off, I had to pull the fuse. I had it towed to this dealer mainly because it was close and I bought two cars from the parent location in Barrington. I called ahead and told them the car was on the way around 7 am. They called when the car arrived and it only took them 2 seconds (not literally) to figure out the problem. Mass air flow sensor and a resistor in the air-conditioner circuit, for a grand total of around $1400. I asked how much of that was labor he said $800 was parts. I feel like I got taken for about maybe $300. But in retrospect the service kind of made up for it. If the total had been $1100 dollars or less I would have definitely planned on taking my car there on a regular basis for routine maintenance. So if money is no object and you want fast reliable service this is the place for you. Dont do like I did and research the parts prices because you will definitely feel violated. I'm not sure about the resistor but anyone could replace a Mass Air Flow Sensor in about 5 minutes with one tool and the after market ones cost only $178. So the labor cost do kind of make me wonder.

I have a history of disappointments with car dealers. So I decided to do a search on the internet for information about good dealers. I have a Mercedes SLK 320 and the check engine light came on. I did not want to go go Autohaus on Edens because my last time there was not good. This site Dealerrater.com had only one dealer with high scores MB of Hoffman Estates. Every MB dealer is terribly expensive so the least I should hope for is good service for the big bucks.I called them up and told them the Check Engine light was on. They said bring it in. I did not have to wait. I got there checked it in. They check it out and in about 20 minutes they told me what was wrong. I autorized the repair which took about an hour. Car was runing fine after the fix. It just seems they are very professional and seem to know what they are doing. I wish I could say the same for other MB dealers. Based on this one repair I will be going to this dealership in the future even though it is much further away from my home than 3 other MB Dealerships.

I was blown away by the sales experience. Chuck Johnson answered every question. He didn't pressure me in anyway. He really understood what model and options I really wanted and did his best to find it. There were no suprises.That was 2 years ago. Chuck has moved to Motorwerks Barrington store. I've had my E-Class in for 2 or 3 service issues. Wow. They fix everything right away and with skill. This dealer knows his product.I will be coming back again.

Although I didn't buy a car from Chuck Johnson I would have if this dealer was closer to my home. I stopped in to kill some time and look around while my wife was shopping and ended up spending about a hour with Chuck including a test drive in a new SLK 350. He was very knowlegeable and friendly even though he understood my intentions from the start. I did eventually order a car from a dealer closer to my home but when it comes to service I will keep an open mind about this dealer. They appear to be a cut above the other Mercedes dealers that I have visited.
