Generally good to excellent service some weaknesses with the sales department

My experience at this location was extremely poor. I find it hard to believe that a car dealership featuring the Mercedes Benz would be so sub-par. They are so unprofessional from the car prep to follow up after the sale. I purchased the car 5 months ago and they still haven't straightened out a car fax problem. I would avoid this dealership if at all possible. It might be worth a trip to the Buffalo location to get what you want. The only saving grace of this facility is the service department.

Val is dedicated and professional couldn't ask for more he worked with me on the price. I didn't have to go thru 6 people. Nice car buying experience for once.

This dealer has defined First Class in the service and sales experience. I purchased 2 vehicles there and have taken them in for regular service over the past 6 years. All I can say is the quality of the experience at MBR is consistent with the quality of the cars they sell, " The Best or Nothing".

I purchased a used Infiniti FX35 from Mercedes Benz of Rochester. This is the second used vehicle I have purchased from the West Herr group in the last 3 years and both times the experience has been first rate. I live in Syracuse but am a native of Webster and have bought every car since moving to Syracuse from Rochester because of dealers like this and the fact that I always get a better price and service from the Rochester area dealers. As a serious car "nut", who averages a new vehicle about every 1.5-2 years, I have seen just about every type of dealership and sales tactic ever imagined. West Herr really gets it. There was never any high pressure and I always felt like they just wanted to make sure that above all, I left happy. I feel secure that if there is any issues they will take care of it. They certainly did before the sale and with the first car I bought they did after the sale too. I had some specific requirements in the way I wanted the newest car conditioned and certain repairs done before I picked up the car and they not only followed my wishes, but went above and beyond with repairs and prep so I would have a perfect vehicle. Thank you West Herr! A customer for years to come

I spent several weeks looking around for a newer low mileage (less than 10,000 mile) Cadillac CTS-V coupe in black with a manual transmission. After reviewing all the normal sites such as autotrader.com and cars.com. I found that Mercedes-Benz of Rochester, NY had the exact car that I was looking for. After talking with Bob several times over the phone, he made me feel at ease and it would be a smooth transition. So I preceded to drive the well over 600 miles from Ft. Bragg(yes I am a U.S. Army Soldier) to Rochester, NY. I was greeted at the door by Bob, who unfortunately had a family emergency, and was redirected to Rene. I could not speak higher of this dealership and the sales team that helped me (Bob Corset and Rene Isidore) as well as the sales manger, Matthew Koplin. The vehicle that I was purchasing had a minor issue. (a sensor went bad upon delivery), and I truly believe that this dealership could not have handled this more professionally, and definitely put my mind at ease about the several hundred mile drive. Anyone that is considering purchasing a new Mercedes or used car regardless of where you are in the U.S., should look no farther than this dealership. It is beyond the shadow of a doubt, worth the drive.

Bought two cars from these gents in a week. After my wife saw mine she couldn't wait to get her own. We both upgraded from nice cars (Toyota and Nissan) and I can't say there's a single regret. Cars are both great. More than the cars, the sales staff was a gas. We both dealt with Jeremy Wabick and only regret that we won't need cars for a long time now. He was a pleasure to deal with and put our interests in front of all else when helping us. Ray is the sales manager here and don't let his cell phone that rivals the size of a billboard fool you, his leadership has profound impact on his sales crew, he was every bit of an equal to Jeremy in presentation and service and that's a high standard. Dealing with these guys on a whole was a terrific experience. Couldn't recommend anyone more.

I found the exact vehicle that I was looking for on Cars.com, unfortunately it was an hour away from home. I had a little time on a Saturday morning, so I drove over to Mercedes Benz of Rochester. I met LeeAnn St. John and she made the buying experience awesome. Her sense of urgency was great as she took me for the quick test drive that I had time for. Following that her communication was excellent and I closed the deal the next business morning. She then delivered the car to me! Oh an she had some upholstery work done for me that morning as well The process couldn't have been easier.
