We have dealt with many dealerships over the years. Our experience at Metro West Subaru was by far the best yet! Sales manager Chris S and our salesperson Caitlin M treated us like old friends. They were honest and straightforward. We will be customers of theirs again and highly recommend! Love our new Subaru Outback Wilderness!

Extremely disappointed with the purchase I made a few months ago and the service I received in regards to issues with the car. I don't trust them to do proper inventory maintenance or provide good service to their customers. I will never buy a vehicle here again and I don't recommend them to anybody. For what it's worth, my sales person was not the issue. It was the way management handled everything that bothers me the most. I will be buying AND servicing my cars elsewhere in the future.

I had the pleasure of working with Jessica Sudeall to purchase my first Subaru. She listened to my "wants list" in a vehicle and came back with only the vehicles that fit the criteria. I felt very comfortable with her and truely believe that she was transparent when it came to pricing. I traveled from Worcester to Natick, with many Subaru dealerships in between, and am so happy that I did.

I have owned many vehicles over my lifetime, but once I purchased a SUBARU I will never drive anything else. Love the Forrester! This is my third vehicle from MetroWest and I wouldn't buy from anyone else. I have looked at other dealerships but none of them even come close to MetroWest. Sam Mayer is a fantastic salesman who makes buying such a pleasant experience and the service department is exceptional. Go in and ask for Sam and sit back and enjoy your vehicle. When you see the commercial that says........and they lived believe it! My daughter, who was 5 months pregnant and my 3-1/2 year old grandson walked away from a horrible accident. The scene was littered with pieces of the vehicle and right in the midst was that beautiful framework, completely intact....and they lived (not even a scratch). Thanks SUBARU !

I bought a certified pre-owned Subaru CrossTek. Marc Soloway made making the purchase extremely easy. He is a very knowledgeable and friendly person, who is ready to go the extra mile. We bonded over some common interests over our test drive. One of the things which I appreciated the most about him is the fact that he is not a pushy salesman at all. He knows that he is dealing with professionals and understands that they have done their homework before they've come to test drive the car. It made me feel under less pressure to buy the car and I could take my time at to make decisions.

Metrowest Subaru car salesman Matthew Donadio is good at his job and possesses good interpersonal skills. Recently, I traveled twice to Metrowest Subaru to test drive and then pick up a new Subaru Impreza. I had the good fortune of receiving my Impreza as a gift from my mother. Through Matthew Donadio's hardwork, his ability to communicate effectively with customers, and his patience with me (it has been many years since I went through the process of buying a new car) my experience at Metrowest Subaru went more smoothly than anticipated. Thank you so much Matthew Donadio!

I needed a new vehicle because I would be moving out of my parent's house towards the Boston area as well as starting law school part time and working full time. My previous car had quite a few miles on it and I decided it was time to start looking for a new car. I had scheduled a test drive of a brand new 2016 Subaru Impreza. When I first arrived at the dealership with my step father I not greeted at the door even though there were several sales people sitting around the room. Finally a sales person comes up to us and guides us to the desk and starts inquiring about why we are there. Throughout the conversation I was not being asked the typical car buying questions that you get asked when buying a new car. The questions being asked made me feel like they were trying to talk me out of buying a new car. Such as," I don't understand why you are buying a new car if you already have one" " Why do you need a car if your not needing to buy a car right now?" In my opinion those questions were completely unnecessary. We took the car for the test drive. The sales person drove the car out of the parking lot and then headed down the road for about a quarter of a mile and stopped in a nearby parking lot had both of us get out and switch seats so I could actually drive the vehicle. My step father being in the back seat was inquiring about the warranties that come with the car. The sales person responses were so rude and not information whatsoever. The rest of the test drive was silent and not helpful at all. He then gave me his card and sent me on my way. I will never go back to this dealership ever again. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone unless they don't want to be taken seriously and actually buy a vehicle. I ended up buying a brand new 2016 Subaru Impreza from another dealership. The dealership that I actually bought the car from I was scheduled for a test drive of a used 2015 Subaru Impreza.

I went to this dealership to purchase a new Subaru. I was referred there by Costco. The sales person was so obnoxious. He was aggressive, condescending, and obnoxious. I left and went to Patrick Subaru in Shrewsbury. They were so much more professional there, and treated me fairly. It only took about 20 minutes to reach a deal. I would never recommend Metrowest Subaru to anyone.

I went to MetroWest Subaru looking for "the right" used Forester. While I have not yet found the car that is *just right* Nick was really patient and helpful as I put several cars through their paces. He was thorough in pointing out the differences between the cars, making sure I didn't miss the advantages of each in my familiarity with the base model itself. As for test drives - it's not easy to find rough terrain in Natick where I could get a feel for the car's off-road camping trip potential, but he understood and tried hard! Nick is continuing to watch for a car that will fit my criteria - picky customers are either great (you KNOW what to show them) or horrible (there's no such car!) and he's great at making me feel like the former.

Went there on Memorial Day. Great price (below Consumer Reports and the few nearby dealers). Zero pressure. No waiting (I had made an appointment online.) Bought an Outback. Only reason am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the salesman made up a few answers to a few minor technical questions he did not know the answer to, though he was very friendly and helpful.

I recently traded in my 2009 Impreza and upgraded to a 2012 Impreza from MetroWest Subaru with the help of Josh Geller. The people were all great there. I felt they were honest and genuine and they didn't pressure me to look at/buy anything I wasn't interested in. At the same time I felt they made me aware of all my options given the criteria I provided for what I was looking for. My mom also bought a car here from Josh a few years ago so I had that reassurance that this was a trustworthy dealership. I live near Worcester and I would encourage anyone interested in getting a Subaru to check this place out as opposed to other nearby Subaru dealerships because I feel the people at MetroWest are the most honest and have the customers' best interests in mind. Oh and I am very happy with my car! I would recommend anyone get a Subaru because they are dependable and the all wheel drive is great to have in New England.

Went in to discuss pricing on a new Forester. Was looking for a Premium w/All-weather Package and Eyesight in Dark Grey. I knew metrowest didn't have one in stock in that color, but I had found a dealer in NH that had one. Before driving up there, I went to Metrowest, since they are the closest subaru dealer to me, to see what price they could offer me, so I had something to compare it to when I went in to the dealer in NH. Waited for at least 20 minutes to talk to Sam, who i believe is their "product specialist". Sam flat out lied to me and told me that this other dealer in NH did not actually have the car i wanted in stock (he claimed he could see the stock of every subaru dealer in new england on his computer, which may or may not be true, but either way he lied and said this other dealer didn't actually have the car I wanted, when in fact they did.) he also talked down to me like i was an idiot and pretty much ignored everything I said. In the end he wouldn't even give me a real price quote. Waste of time. Went and bought the car I wanted at the other dealer 2 days later.

My wife needed a new car. We visited several dealerships of various makes in the area. Included in our search were two Subaru dealerships. We liked the sales approach at MetroWest and purchased another Forester (2016) to replace a (2005). We had a very pleasant experience dealing with Jeff Berman. Jeff was knowledgeable about the Subaru product line and very patient with many questions as we went through our deliberate purchasing process. Jeff was very helpful in explaining the many new bells and whistles on the newer cars. We have not had need to use the service department (not enough miles) at MetroWest, but assume they will be of the same high quality as their sales representatives. We would not hesitate to recommend MetroWest to anyone interested in purchasing a Subaru.

Buying or leasing a car, for most people, can be a stressful experience! It's a big investment and you want to be reasonably sure you're doing the right thing - right car, right price. I'm on my fourth car from MetroWest and Josh Geller (three leased, one purchased) because they make it so easy! Josh is so knowledgeable about cars (not just Subarus), he answers your questions and works with you to find the right fit for you. You don't get the feeling that you're being pressured or coerced. Josh's laid back manner, sense of humor and sincerity put you at ease. He guides you through the process thoroughly from start to finish and is always available for follow up. MetroWest management and service have always been friendly, professional, efficient. What peace of mind to know you're getting an excellent vehicle and a salesman who is responsive to your needs long after the deal is done! You won't be sorry if you bring your business to MetroWest Subaru and Josh!

My autobody mechanic suggested I pay a visit to Metrowest Suburu because he had heard a lot of good things about this dealership in particular. I went online and saw that Marc received many high marks so I asked for him. He was very good about answering my questions with a lot of patience and even now that the deal is done, he emailed to ask if I had any further questions he could help me with. Nice touch! That was and still is very appreciated because this is my first Suburu. He was very good about making sure we scheduled appointments with him and he stuck to the time frames. That's a much different experience than I've had with other dealers where you walk in and hope that someone comes to ask you if you need help. Marc is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to knowing the cars he sells which I find very helpful. This is my first car with such advanced computerized features so he basically gave me a 90 minute tutorial to get me up to speed before I drove out of the dealer's lot. So far so good with the car, but it's early days. The Impreza is a car that handles beautifully and the Sport Hatchback is sharp looking. I can't wait to see how it performs in the snow.

Dropped into the dealership when I was starting to research cars. I was interested in driving a Forester, which I'd had as a loaner in the past. The sales person I was directed to was Matt Donadio. He was friendly, low-pressure, and very informative. He went over the car's features and described some of the vehicles they had on the lot. We agreed I would return for a test drive the next day, since it was a Friday afternoon during rush hour. When I got there on Saturday, he was with other clients, so I said I'd return after lunch for a test drive. Matt really went above and beyond when we got stuck in the terrible Natick Mall traffic because I wanted to take the car on the highway. He even paid the toll on the turnpike!I did not end up purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, but it was not because of my experience with Matt or his manager.. Matt did a great job, and I'd recommend him highly.

I just bought a 2015 Subaru Legacy from this dealer ship! Marty Ross was my salesman and let me tell you, there isn't enough words to describe what a wonderful experience I had! Not only did he take the time to go over every feature with me, but he's reached out on several occasions to make sure that I'm happy with my car & to assure me that if there is anything I need to let him know. As far as buying a new car, I'd highly recommend this dealership & mainly Marty in general.

I purchased a 2016 Outback from Marty Ross and had a great experience. He thoroughly went over the trim options, features, and capabilities both on paper and during the test drive. I did not feel pressured at all, I had told him I was looking at some other cars as well so he told me to do my research and get back to him if I decided on the Outback. When I decided on the Outback, he was also very easy to work with for purchasing the vehicle. Overall I had a positive experience and would recommend Metrowest Subaru and Marty to others.

Thank you to Metrowest Subaru, and particularly to Marc Soloway, for helping me get my new beautiful and fun blue sparkly Impreza! I was not really looking to turn in my prior wonderful red impreza before my lease ran out in December, but I received an invitation from Metrowest Subaru to stop by the dealership on a particular Saturday in February to see what deals they had to offer, and Marc helped me to decide to swap cars early! He is a very knowledgable but low-key salesman, and he helped me "do the math" and realize that I would be making a good financial decision and get a new 2016 Impreza now. I appreciated all of the nice people at this dealership (in general, I find Subaru people to be nice people), and I am very pleased with my new car. Thank you Marc Soloway, and Metrowest Subaru. If you are in the market for a Subaru, look no further than MetroWest Subaru in Natick. On a recent Saturday in early February, we set out to find my wife a new Outback. After doing our pricing homework, driving around to couple of other dealerships, and getting some run around at a dealer you hear advertise quite a bit on the radio (not MetroWest!) we finally got the deal we wanted in Natickwe should have stopped at MetroWest first and saved ourselves 6 hours of our Saturday.Jeff Ricard assisted us with the sale and was very helpful and is an all-around good guy, plus is a Pearl Jam fan as an added bonus. We were pushing for an aggressive price, and Jeff got the deal done on our behalf and with a smile the whole time. The car we purchased was in transit from the factory, and Jeff kept us posted on its status from the time we put down our deposit until its arrival at the dealer a few weeks later. We picked up the car on a busy Friday afternoon at the dealer. Jeff took about an hour with us going through the various features the car offers so we knew how everything worked. I think that demonstrates that he is a stand-up guy and is committed to helping his customers after making the sale. Upon delivery, the new car was found to have a minor scratches on the windshield. Rather than try to hide it or explain away the problem, MetroWest proactively ordered new OEM glass, scheduled replacement a couple of days later, and set us up with a free loaner for the day. The problem was quickly fixed with zero drama. In my car buying experiences, post-sale service is the true test of how solid the dealer is, not how accommodating they are while parting you from your money. So, if you need a new car, go see Jeff Ricard at MetroWest. Once I save enough pennies I will be returning for an STI!

I'll start by saying that Metrowest got us in the door in the most painless way of all the dealers Iworked with - and I had looked at and visited 7 Subaru dealers in town. They immediately matchedand lowered the price I was asking for on the phone - that's all it took to get me in the door.Next up, Matt Donadio of Metrowest Subaru was the sales person we worked with. He was very professional, courteous and thorough. And most importantly, he came across as an honest guy (for example, when he said "All you can get for your trade-in is $100", I believed him enough to not push it). He made our experience very pleasant.I definitely recommend him and the dealership overall.

I found Marc wonderful to work with. He is forthcoming with information, even with gentle suggestions, but he is not pushy and helps keep a stressful process smooth and relaxed. I regret having consulted True Car for, in my experience, they do nothing but pass on your interest in a car to local dealers, charging them for that information. So I felt bad I had wasted Metro West Subaru's money while gaining nothing. So far our service experience has also been excellent and I must say, for someone who really just wants a car to work, I DO actually love my Subaru.I recommend the car, dealership, and Marc Soloway, in a heartbeat.

I just purchased my first brand new car in my life. And I'm a first time Subaru owner too. I did my research on cars and dealerships ahead of time. I chose MetroWest for location and because of good ratings. It did not disappoint me! I worked with Nick Berthiaume and he was very helpful from the beginning. As mentioned by other customers, it was important for me to not feel pressured. And he Nick was great, he knowledgeable, gave me options, ideas and was in constant touch during the whole process. He answered questions and looked for solutions to situations that we encountered while trying to find the specific car/model I wanted. I'm very pleased with all the purchasing experience and highly recommend Nick and MetroWest.

We worked with Nick Berthiaume at MetroWest and bought a new Subaru Forester. We were delighted with the entire experience. Nick is very knowledgeable and and his style is "no pressure" which is a welcome change from prior car buying experiences. Nick spent nearly an hour going over all the features of our new Forester which was very helpful. We're delighted with our new car, with Nick and his team at MetroWest.

After more than 149,000 miles, my commuter car of eight years gently said goodnight. It was completely paid off and initially when I purchased it, I had my husband do all of the legwork for finding, negotiating, and organizing the purchase. Truth is, just the IDEA of car shopping brought on such stress and anxiety for me, that I did anything and everything I could to avoid it.But, as fate would have it, I found myself at MetroWest just a few days after parting ways with my old car. From the moment I walked into the dealership and met General Manager VJ Donnelly and Sales Associate, Jeff Ricard - I truly had a corrective experience.Thoughtful, intelligent, and kind - these professionals NEVER allowed a hint of anxiety to creep into the experience. In what felt like no time at all they worked with me to find exactly what I wanted in the exact budget I walked in with. Now in my new 2016 Impreza I am not only confident that my family and I are safe and secure in our new ride, but I'm confident in knowing EXACTLY where I can go to be treated like a truly valued partner.

We were driving down rt9 in Natick and had a tire go flat on us. It was a Saturday mid morning, and was able to get to their, very busy dealership. When I went in I worked with Adam and he was very understanding of our situation and he let us know they were full but would get it done as quick at he could. the est wait time was 2hrs. He showed us to the waiting room where we got coffee, (and the massage chairs are Wonderful FYI!!) and no lie, Adam called us down in 45mins that he was able to get the car done!! WOW Great Customer Service!!!! Keep it up!! And I will be back!!!

I really enjoyed the entire experience with Jeff from start to finish. He was knowledgeable about the different models, gave me honest feedback with everything aspect of the car, and helped me negotiate the best price on my trade-in and the 2015 Impreza sport I was buying. It's now over 6 months later after the purchase and Metro-west and are still helpful (even after the sale) and I couldn't be happier. As long as I'm living in New England, I'll be buying Subaru's here.-Kevin

Horrible experience, nobody ever returns your calls... The salesman was cold and unenthusiastic to sell us the car.., not to mention they offer pennies to the dollar on your trade compared to other dealerships. Also don't expect to get in and out quick, they clearly are understaffed and the staff they have don't care about u unless u want to pay sticker price. I was very favorably impressed by the efficient, thorough, glitch-free process when I traded in my Jeep Grand Cherokee for a 2016 Forester Limited. I dealt with Josh Geller, who answered all of my questions on the spot, managed the process from start to finish, and kept me informed at each stage of the process. This has been the best car leasing experience I have had in my 60 years of driving! And, when the paperwork was finished, Josh got me up to speed on the software applications, and got my cell phone wired into Bluetooth for hands-free phone connectivity while on the road. In sum: efficient process, fair, upfront negotiation with flexibility, and very friendly team.

I am very pleased with the service I received from Ed Cooperstein. The purchase was pretty straightforward, but there was no pressure or push back if I wanted to test drive a different vechicle. Additionally, there was a problem with the brakes pulsating after I had the car for a few days. Ed was very helpful in having the service department call me and get me in for an appointment. The service went smoothly and folks were up front about the issue and fixed it right away. Basically within the timeframe it was promised.

The finance dept was high pressure to buy the extended warranty. I was told the only way I could get a lower interest rate was to spend $2,500 for the extended warranty I got so frustrated I walked out. The next day I found out he ran my credit app 15 times which lowered my score 29 points.

I was treated poorly. I was up front about what I could afford, and mocked. It ended with the salesman walking away, no goodbye. I was left standing in the showroom, thinking he might be coming back. I was wrong. Strangely enough, I did lease a Subaru at Patrick Subaru in Shrewsbury offering the same payment and $ down as I did at Metrowest. I purchased a 2015 Subaru Forester dealing with Jeffrey Ricard. The buying experience was the best I have had in the 6 cars I have bought over the years. I would describe the experience as low key, no pressure. Before and after a test drive, Jeffrey took the time to introduce me to the vehicle's equipment and how it works. I left telling him I would get back to him after I decided which of the compact suvs I wanted, after considering the competition. I was not bothered by phone calls or emails because he had not asked for them. I made an appointment a week later and made an offer to buy. Jeff came back with a counter offer which I accepted because it was a very very good price. When my wife and I picked up the vehicle Jeffrey introduced us to all the equipment and how it worked. He also took the time to sync our phones via bluetooth to the vehicle. I left feeling that they would be there for me any time I had questions.

After a bad experience with Cityside Subaru, I went to MetroWest to purchase a 2015 Forester. Jeff Berman was a low pressure salesman and stuck to his word with pricing of the vehicle. When I dealt with finance, they were quick with the paperwork and there were no high pressure tactics for buying any additional products or extended warranties. When I complained about the timing for delivery from the dock, the staff expedited matters and my new car arrived promptly. Registration went smoothly. Marty was great showing me all the features of the car after it arrived. A very good sales team.

I just purchased a new 2015 Subaru WRX from my sales guy Josh Geller. This was a great car shopping experience at a very family business oriented type environment. Still organized and professional.Just to give you a perspective and background, between now and 2009, I have purchased and leased a total of 7 cars including my new Subaru, 3 Hondas, 2 VW and 1 Nissan vehicle.I walk in to MetroWest Subaru and I meet Josh. I tell him I really like the WRX and I am interested in leasing the vehicle. Josh right from the get go is friendly, laid back and no pressure type of guy. He showed me what cars he has on the lot and we realized the car I want was not at the dealership yet but was in transit. He gave me numbers on the car before I left the dealership that day on the car which was in transit to the dealer. He did not pressure to collect a deposit from me on a car that wasn't even there yet. Although given the supply and demand on the WRX type of vehicle with the trim and color of my choice and the fact that only one was coming in, it would have made sense to put a deposit on the car and guarantee it. I at the time did not know if I was going to or be able to purchase this car. There were variables in place such as purchase price, my current lease which had 4 payments on it and not knowing if leasing or purchasing was the right option for me.I did my homework and realized that Josh has provided me with a very competitive and aggressive (within the market) for the car I wanted.Josh and I kept in touch to see when the car would arrive and from the beginning he set timeline expectation pretty accurate. Once we new the car was in the country and he still was going to have only 1 car that was unique to my liking, we decided it was time to put a deposit on the car. From there on end, it was very easy to negotiate my financing decision and what I needed to with my trade. When you go in, feel free ask Josh.. It really all worked out perfect for my situation.Sales manager Jonathan Boske was too friendly and no pressure. Very matter of fact, here is my options lets figure out the best options that fit "me the consumer's needs" He truly only interacted to prove that we were heading in the right directions and the give guidance. Finally when I dealt with the finance manager Brian Hebert to sign off all the paperwork, he did not push any product on me either. He went over what was covered under manufacturers warranty. Because I was financing for an extended amount of time, he showed me two to three comprehensive (bumper to bumper) coverage options. The price was fair and given all the electronics and gadgets in the car, I wanted the piece of mind. (back up camera, all the fancy digital screen, sunroof, awd system, turbo, etc) After everything was complete, Josh introduced me to my new car and all the gadgets and unique things about the car that I was not familiar with. He walked me through the service department and introduced me to them and explained their process of oil changes, service and after hours drop off procedures.Thank you very much to you guys and I hope that this review shows your strengths to future car shoppers and at least allows them to come meet you. I am certain they also will be pleased.Kayhan

My purchasing experience at Metrowest Subaru was quite the experience (in a good way!)! I began working with Nick about a month before the sale, checking out the Forester and its features. After viewing it twice, I set up for an overnight test run. Nick was going on vacation and set me up with Jeff. Jeff had everything ready for us when we arrived to pick up the car, and was able to answer our questions easily. We went back a few days later to do the actual buying. Jeff's appointment had run longer than anticipated, and we did our actual negotiating with VJ. After we both made our opening offers, VJ offered us a price that was well within the range I wanted, and offered me a very fair price on my trade in. Working directly with management on this part of the process accelerated negotiations, and kept stress levels at a minimum (I can't say the same for other dealerships of other brands). While VJ was entering the sale data, Josh stepped right in to prepare our paperwork. He had the paperwork completed quickly, and we returned two days later (it was a Saturday) to begin the financial work. We sat with Michael, who put us right at ease and got us through the paperwork process quickly. We had no difficulty financing with Subaru, and he met our price expectations on extended warranty and service planning. Finally, it was time to pick up the car. Josh was assisting us with the registration, and went over the features and controls in the vehicle. I left feeling confident both about the buying process, as well as bringing my new Forester there for service. I never felt pressured or unfairly treated, and would happily recommend Metrowest Subaru to anybody who would like to experience car buying from a customer-first dealership!

Matt Donadio puts himself in the shoes of the prospective buyer, knowing that a car purchase is not an easy transaction. He employes a "light touch", discreetly contacting you by a short email to ascertain your current thinking about the vehicle(s) you had test driven with him. After your test drive(s) you were not, in any way, subjected to high pressure sales tactics. Like Matt said, " the car will sell itself". He is fortunate in this regard, since Subaru has a pretty good reputation in this part of the U.S. As far as the puchase itself, there was no haggling. Matt readily followed the "true car" pricing policy which the dealership is committed to. He will also make himself available after the sale for any follow-up you may need.

I contacted Metrowest Suburu online and spoke with Diana Guertin, who then set me up with Tony Chalawan when I came to the showroom. Tony was just great to work with, knowledgeable about cars in general and Suburus in particular, warm and personable, and straightforward in telling me what he could and could not do. Met Matt when looking at a used car on the lot. The car was impeccably clean and fully serviced. It was not a Subaru, but he answered all of my questions, provided a service history, a thorough test drive, and his follow up has been welcomed and unobtrusive. I needed more time to make my decision, and he offered points to ponder as well as information on a vehicle I was considering, even though it was not on his lot. He truly wanted me to find the best car for me. Very much appreciated this approach and will return and send friends and family his way.

Came in for recall servicing, but of course they found other problems. I could fix the others myself, but one problem was a torn cv boot, which is a messy, annoying job, so I had them fix it. They charged for 2 hours labor even though the total time in the dealer, including "free" car wash, was less than 2 hours. So, it took $240 to get an $80 part installed (and I could have gotten an OEM boot online for $30). They also left a ton of grease on the underside of the engine from the torn boot even though they said my car would catch on fire from the grease if I didn't get the boot fixed. So, I had to climb under the car myself when I got home and wipe it all down from underneath. The kid that tried to explain the problem and took my money knew nothing. If you need any information, figure out how to talk to someone higher up.

Two years ago my wife and I thought about buying a Subaru. Metrowest Subaru was great to deal with, but we ultimately didn't buy any car at that time because of our own financial situation. I had a feeling I would return there.Last year, I brought my post-college nephew to the dealership to the Subaru so he could test drive a WRX. He just couldn't afford it yet, but we both noted how they treated him with respect, unlike some other [not-Subaru] dealerships.Last night we picked up our just-delivered (after two month+ wait) Impreza 2.0i Premium. It was worth the wait. My wife got all the things she needed, in the color she wanted. The process, even though there was a long wait, was quite easy. Our salesman Marc Soloway was great: friendly and professional. I was impressed when I gave him a list of optional things I wanted (but didn't need on the car), and instead of just accepting it, he asked me "Why?!" After he crossed a few things off, he smiled and said "See, I just saved you thousand dollars."I've never encountered a dealership before that didn't use ANY pressure to get you to buy today. This dealership's attitude really is: The cars sell themselves. If you want it you'll come back. We won't twist your arm. We don't have to.In case you don't know dear reader, there is a shortage of Subarus. I think that makes it easier for Metrowest. But you can't hold that against them---they're not raising the prices or selling above MSRP or pushing people to get extras. Our meeting with the Finance Manager---usually a time for purchasers at any dealership to be skittish---was also friendly. Everything was explained clearly, slowly, and in detail. There was NO pressure to buy extras. Mr. Cerone told us "We offer extended warranty packages. Here's the pricing. Think about it. Let me know what you decide to do." When it came time to do the financing, I was a bit skeptical of going through them, but they used my bank (through the CUDL program). Same interest rate; same auto-deduction from checking; same everything! I kept looking for some loop-hole or gimmick. There wasn't any. When it came time to leave, we didn't just drive away. Marc spent a lot of time---a half-hour or more--- explaining how to use features. He even connected my phone to the bluetooth. Are all auto dealers this way? LOL. You know the answer. Are all Subaru dealers this way? I don't know. My wife and I visited just three others and generally had good experiences. Metrowest Subaru, for us tops the list.So I heartily recommend Subaru and with enthusiasm recommend Metrowest Subaru.

Congratulations to MetroWest Subaru for having a SUPERB sales people: Such as Tony Chahwan. A man of business principals and honesty.Buying a car is one these life experiences that most normal people truly dread. I have bought few cars in the past, and the truth is I did not enjoy the process. However, when we were shopping for a car we got lucky enough to meet an incredibly genuine, honest and intelligent sales man, that man is Tony Chahwan. As my husband and I pulled into the parking lot of Subaru dealership, Tony Chahwan met us and greeted us with a friendly and welcoming smile. He introduced himself to us and guided us through all cars options. What impressed us the most about Tony Chahwan is his no-hard-selling techniques, honesty that radiates from his words, and an overall genuine personality. He explained to us in details about the car we wanted to purchase and helped us navigate through the process of trading in our old car and purchasing a new one.Tony Chahwan is very professional and intelligent. He used "smart" words in conveying his thoughts and explaining to us the details about the car.I must admit: I was a little taking by full command of understanding of the mechanical aspect of the car engine. We later learned that Tony Chahwan is an EE- Electrical Engineer. Having learned this academic piece of information about him put us at further ease and comfort, that is, we are dealing with an engineer in purchasing our car.Tony Chahwan honesty is second to none. We trusted him at once. He is very sincere and honest. He is truly the personification of integrity and intelligence- We spent out time with him at the dealership and decided to think over our options at home. Tony Chahwan emailed us later and thanked us for stopping by MetroWest Subaru, and offered his services and was willingness to answer any further questions. His email is very professional and sincere with hard sell terminology in it. We truly appreciated Tony's professional email. We returned a couple of days after we further researched all our options and decided we would buy our car from no one except Tony Chahwan. Tony's words resonate honesty and integrity. He delivered exactly what he promised us. There was no misunderstanding nor any negative vibes when d dealing with him. Tony worked with us in a very step by step in trading our old car, and financing the new one. We could have not asked for a better experience. He was true to all his promises and in delivering such promises.Of course we trusted him, but we also verified everything. We we extremely impressed with his honesty and genuine personality. He is honest to the bone! No issues nor any concerns about this, that's for sure!!! We feel very lucky and privileged to have had the business opportunity to have met Tony Chahwan, a man of true business principals, honesty, intercity, and SUPERB service. Furthermore, the fact he is an Electrical engineer was major driving force behind our conviction, besides his honesty and integrity, too feel comfortable enough to buy a car and be happy in such a investment. Overall, we had a SUPERB experience with Tony Chahwan when we purchased our car from him. It is very evident that we feel very lucky and happy to have met Tony and did our car bussiness sale with him. Again, CONGRATULATIONS, to MetroWest Subaru on having such honest and intelligent sales man on their team. Tony Chahwan is the concrete personification of honesty, integrity, and intelligence. In summation- if you are seriously looking for a car, simply go to MetroWest in Natick and then go directly to Tony Chahwan. He will save you time and you get the best deal on a car that money can buy. Thank you Tony for helping us with the purchase of our new car. It is a pleasure to do business wit you. We unequivocally recommend you to any potential people looking to buy a car, and we wish you nothing but the best on all you endeavors. Thank you again, you are the best, Tony!

I am writing to express my deep gratitude to Tony Chahwan, whom I HIGHLY recommend if you decide to purchase a car. From the very first moment I met Tony Chahwan at the dealership I truly felt at ease. He comes across as very sincere man, extremely knowledgeable of his product, and not pushy whatsoever. I was very impressed with soft and inviting mannerism and approach to sales. He is very honest when communicating his sales pitch, and not overbearing- like my past experiences with sales person at a different dealership,. He was very methodical, pragmatic, and persuasive. What I really appreciated about Tony Chahwan is his integrity, honesty and moral code when explaining to me all the details about the car I had in mind. Every word he uttered to me about my car options were true, from the price, finance, engine, and condition of the car. As an indication of his altruism, after our first meeting and talking about my options, he suggested I take my time and think over what he offered me, and he even encouraged me to compare other prices at other dealerships- and then make my final decision with the physical presence and pressure of a sales person. Tony Chahwan was true to his word. I researched all my options, looked into other possibilities, but returned to Tony Chahwan where we able to work out a deal. A deal that is very fair and honest. I am so glad - and truly feel very lucky- that I came across this very nice, kind, and honest man. Because working with on the purchase on my car was not stressful. It was in fact a pleasure to conduct business with Tony. Obviously, I had an awesome experience with him, he was able to alleviate the pressure and anxiety of buying a car. I sincerely HIGHLY recommend Tony Chahwan if you decide to buy a car at his dealership.

Not only do these guys make you feel at home but as miserable of an experience it can be in my past "dealing with dealerships", this was a pleasure. Ask for Tony Chahwan. He is hands down the best! We have a 14 year old now and we are already planning on checking out their used cars too for this one...Tony and the crew made this a perfect experience. Call ahead and make an appointment because these guys get busy! Thanks, Tony!

My salesperson, Tony Chahwan, was excellent. He helped us find the right car at a great price that fit our budget. We were very happy with the experience and he even delivered the car to Vermont for us. We would recommended him to our friends and encourage them to make the trip to Natick to buy their next car. Thanks again, Tony, we will be return customers. The general sales manager, VJ Donnelly and the finance manager Mike Cerone were great as well and helped make the process easy. All in all a great team.

I cant say that I wouldnt recommend you go to MetroWest Subaru, but I can definitely say that I do NOT recommend you go to Tony Chahwan. When I went in to look at three models to narrow down my research, I met Tony (his desk is right at the front door). He was personable and friendly, showed me the three models I wanted to see and there was no hard sell. I told him Id come back on Sunday to test drive. I emailed him on Friday to let him know what models I would like to test drive, and told him what time I would be there on Sunday. His email response contained texting language/abbreviations and was, IMHO, unprofessional. However, he was ready for me when I arrived on Sunday, and took me for a test drive on the Crosstrek and then on the Forester, in the model and color that I had indicated I was interested in. I definitely preferred the Forester, so we sat down to make the deal. Again, he was personable and friendly. There was no hard sell, I had my Edmunds Price Promise and he used AutoTrader to calculate the trade-in value of my car, which was within a couple hundred dollars of the trade-in figures Id calculated using KBB and Edmunds. When I went back to sign everything and take possession, I first met with Tony to go over the car. There was a small surface scratch on the front passenger side which I saw immediately and he said he should have checked it before I got there (YES, he should have). Then I met with the Mike, the Finance Manager, and I found out that Tony had given me false information about financing Tony had told me that I should check with AAA and DCU to get the best financing rate before coming back in, and then the dealership would match the best rate. Utterly false information. Mike spent considerable time going over the options with me and doing his best to make up for Tonys error, and he seemed sincere and professional. Once I received my registration, I sent Tony another email and copied Mike, the Finance Manager, regarding the false information Tony gave me regarding financing and offering them a chance to make things right before I leave any negative reviews. Tony basically blew me off, said he gave me the cargo cover at a reduced rate (which had been part of the initial price negotiation)and i do what ever i can to help you. (sic) Later in the day I heard from Mike and from VJ, the General Sales Manager, and they offered to cover the cost of the cargo cover ($129). At this point, thats a very small part of my frustration, so it seems like an incredibly small gesture for them to make.Tonys communication, both in person and via email, is poor; his emails are unprofessional. I do not trust what he says to be accurate, as there were instances of him giving me completely false information. I would never do business with Tony Chahwan again.Mike, the Finance Manager, was great to work with and seemed sincere, professional and knowledgeable. VJ, the General Sales Manager, was professional in his communication with me. So far my only experience with the Service department was in scheduling a time to have the remote starter antenna re-affixed, as it keeps coming loose. So in the end, I cant say that I wouldnt recommend you go to MetroWest Subaru, but I can definitely say that I do NOT recommend you go to Tony Chahwan.

Metrowest is the best car dealership we've ever dealt with. From beginning to end, Nick Berthiaume was patient, non-pushy, knowledgable, and helpful. All his interactions with us seemed honest and aboveboard. After experiences that ranged from awful to mediocre with other Subaru dealers, we made our decision and bought our car here.

From the moment Nick came to help us, we felt at ease. He was never pushy or rushed us. He was helpful, patient and honest. He was incredibly patient with me while I looked at a number of cars. We test drove three and ended up purchasing the last one. We quickly worked together to get to a fair price. He answered all of my questions, and what he didn't know the immediate answer to, found it quickly. I'd highly recommend if you're looking for a Subaru to follow up with Nick. Thanks to everyone there for such a nice experience.

I will never bring my car to MetroWest for service again. The second-to-last time I brought it there, I mentioned that I had heard about a recall on Outbacks having to do with the brake lines, and they told me my car was not covered by the recall, so they would not do the recall work. A week later, I got a recall notice in the mail, so I had to bring the car back in again. When I did bring it back for the recall service, I also asked them to look into a problem I was having with the pseudo-manual shift mode on my automatic transmission. After keeping me waiting ALL DAY with no information on what was taking so long, they finally informed me that I needed to replace my transmission. They gave me quotes for a new tranny as well as for a rebuilt, and advised me that I probably had a couple of thousand miles before the tranny failed completely, but I shouldn't wait too long. Even the rebuilt tranny was going to cost several thousand dollars, way more than I wanted to sink into an 8-year-old car with more than 100K miles on it. I called my trusted local mechanics, who told me they could replace my tranny for way less than the dealer had quoted, so I brought it in for them to have a look. They discovered that the problem was a dirty sensor caused by a coffee or soda spill and were able to fix it for just a couple of hundred dollars. More than a year and 25,000 miles later, my transmission is still working just fine. Needless to say, I no longer have any faith in the service department at MetroWest. I'm not sure if they were just incompetent or being outright dishonest, but either way, they will never work on my car again, nor would I consider buying another car there.

I recently purchased a 2014 Subaru Outback at MetroWest Subaru and I would highly recommend them because of my experience with my rep, Sam. From the test drive to the walk-thru of the new vehicle he was very patient, informative and overall a laid back friendly guy. I was never pressured to go faster with the buying process - and I was looking the last week of the month. I felt very comfortable throughout the deal and the whole buying experience was stress-free for me. That made all the difference. The MetroWest Subaru dealership will be my dealership of choice for all my maintenance and future buying needs. I highly recommend them.

My wife and I recently bought a new Impreza for me and a new Forester for her. Both sales were handled by Marty Ross. He was knowledgeable, didn't do any of the high pressure stuff, was straightforward in answering questions. Marty was a pleasure to work with. The finance guy Mike also was good. He offered us the usual packages for extended warranty and so on. We researched those and decided they weren't right for us. That was it. No hassle from Mike, no attempt to get us to change our minds. He offered the product and explained it. After we made our decision, he respected it. The whole buying experience was a pleasure. Subsequently, we took our cars the MetroWest for their first routine maintenance. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently. The waiting room is one of the best we have seen. It actually is two rooms, one in front with a TV and one behind that with computer desks for using your laptop and easy chairs for reading. A wireless network is available.

Tony was my salesman and when I came to purchase I had already been to a different dealer. I came with a price in my hand for both the new car and my trade and he said yes no questions asked... I had my 10 month old with me and was in and out in 30 minutes. Car arrived in 3 weeks due to demand and they had me processed in an hour keys in hand. (Was there for another 2 only because of insurance company). My company requires I buy a car every 5 years to stay "in compliance"... Metro West now has earned a customer for life! Thx

I purchased a 2015 Subaru Forester from Metro West Subaru in April of 2014. The Customer Service I received was excellent. David explained everything about the SUV I was interesting in purchasing; very knowledgeable and patient. David offered to explain some additional questions I had about the Subaru a week after I purchased it. I drove back to the dealer and David was very patient explaining and showing me how to use features I had further questions on. Therefore, even after making the purchase and driving off with my new Subaru, Metro West was available to give me their time in assisting me. The buying process was very fair and respectful. The facilities were very high quality. When I walked in, the staff always offered me a cup of coffee or a bottle of water. I had a very positive experience in every way with Metro West and would highly recommend doing business with them.

I now have my third Subaru from MetroWest Subaru, the first two were leased and I recently bought my new Forester. I loved each of the cars and have never had anything but an outstanding experience at MetroWest. The sales team is wonderful - knowledgeable, respectful and low pressure. They answer all questions, give you the information you need without pushy sales tactics, which for me takes a lot of stress out of buying a car. The managers are helpful and approachable and they found me an auto loan at an excellent rate - very important! I always have my car serviced at the dealership - again, always a good experience. They make an extra effort to be attentive, courteous and provide expert service. The waiting area is spacious, comfortable and has another quiet room if you need to work while you're waiting, free WiFi and coffee, bathrooms are always clean! The whole MetroWest experience has always given me the peace of mind that my car and I will be well taken care of! I think that if you walk into a car buying situation with an attitude, you'll probably leave with your attitude but no car (or at least not a good car buying experience), no matter where you go. If you truly want the best car for your money, want to be treated honestly, fairly and with respect, you will not be disappointed with MetroWest Subaru. As a homecare nurse, my car is my office. I drive all day and must have a reliable, comfortable car and the Forester is all that. My patients often complement my car, ask how I like it and where I purchased it. I always tell them how much I love Subarus and highly recommend that they go to MetroWest and ask for Josh, you won't be disappointed!

Went to Metrowest Subaru to look for a new car and was greeted by a great staff right away. The manager met me at the door and introduced me to one of the salesmen, Josh Geller. After a quick talk about what I was interested in driving (not your typical salesman speak of 'how much do you want to spend?'), Josh showed me around the lot and showed me lots of options. He was patient as I went back and forth over what I wanted and let me try out all sorts of cars. Finally I found something that felt right. We were able to agree on a fair price and he helped me understand all of my options for financing. Just 2 days later, I was able to pick up my car which was freshly detailed and had a full tank of gas and I was on my way. I felt so good about my experience that six months later, I brought my wife in and bought another one! I go there for scheduled service whenever I can. The staff is just much friendlier than any other dealership. They have a great waiting area where I can relax or get work done and they are close to plenty of other places to go while I wait. Overall, great dealership!

I've leased an Outback and a Crosstrek from Metrowest Subaru in the last 4 years, and there aren't enough compliments in my vocabulary to do them justice. Everyone, from my salesman Josh Geller to the rest of the sales staff and service department, has always been exceptionally courteous and professional. The leasing (and buying) process is always stressful, no matter which dealer you go to, but the noticeable lack of sales pressure that I've always experienced here is truly a special quality. Being treated like person, instead of a potential customer with money to spend, will always get my return business. Having a fantastic product helps too.

Only car dealership so far that did not greet me at all. Staff were busy but they all walked by without saying a word, not even a "are you being helped?" Or "someone will be with you ASAP." Gave the impression they did not care about your potential business. After 10 minutes I found somebody who just said once someone's available they will help you. Apparently "thank you for your patience" is not part of the repertoire of their customer service either.

Online sales service gave a vibe that they do not care if a Customer buy or not from the dealership. Would not acceptable price negotiation and maintain the price they listed was "priced to sell". I asked what is the bottom line price they are will to sell, they maintained same answer. C'on Metrowest, not even five bucks? I let the internet sales guy know I will take my business elsewhere and he did not even attempt to keep me interesed in Metrowest. Although he did say thank you for visiting their site. Our experience at Metro West Subaru was possibly the best car buying experience we have ever had. Jeff Ricard was friendly, helpful, and straightforward. At no point did I feel pressured to buy. I shopped around to a few dealerships without my husband before finding the car that I wanted. I definitely felt the most respected at Metro West. At no point did I feel like Jeff was "talking to me like a woman", something that I certainly experienced with other salesmen at other dealers. My husband and I were so impressed with the Sales and the Finance departments. We felt like Mike Cerone, in finance, worked hard to get us the best rate possible. He took the time to show us all of our payment options. We left feeling very pleased.Because of the welcoming, no pressure, down to Earth attitudes of the employees at Metro West, we will be recommending them to our friends and family. And we will be back to see Jeff when it's time for my husband to buy a new car.

I once had a Subaru that saved me and my daughter when we were in an accident thirty years ago. Living here in Massachusetts, I knew I wanted the safest automobile built to stand up to our winter weather. I went to Metro West Subaru and Jeff Ricard had me at "hello." I have never worked with a "car salesman" who is so honest, patient, kind, knowledgeable and layback. I never felt pressure and honestly believe that Jeff's main goal was to make sure I was happy no matter what decision I made. Jeff has gone out of his way to stay in touch, even offering to come to my home to help better acquaint me with my Forester. He is just so personable and I hope to continue to work with him in the future. I admit that I have become a Jeff Ricard groupie! And for the record, I love, love, love how my 2014 Subaru has taken on this winter's polar vortex, laughing as it leaves everyone else behind in the snow!!!

We recently replaced our daughter's 10-year old car with a Subaru Legacy. We wanted the safety features and this car had them, great crash test results, top reliability and in the right price range. Our daughter lives in the Boston area but it was easier to do our shopping local to us in NJ. Our local dealer was pleasant, but in the end, pricing did not seem to match what we learned online. When I widened our search to the Boston area, I found a match with all the features she wanted at MetroWest Subaru. I gave them a call and connected with Marc Soloway. The price he quoted was really good and even beat my expectations making it worthwhile to buy in MA instead of NJ. But then we had to coordinate - I needed to be sure of mileage on the car, features, dealer adds, etc. Also, we had to coordinate our trip from NJ to Boston - it was during the holidays - because we were cosigning. We talked a couple of times but exchanged many emails. Marc was always available, day and night it seemed. That really helped to make everything go smoothly. In fact, it could not have gone better! The pickup, the financing and my daughter's return trip to MetroWest for inspection - all was great. Should we buy another Subaru, even if for us in NJ, it will be from Marc at MetroWest in MA.

Marc Soloway was very friendly, courteous, and had great follow through. He always set clear expectations about his schedule which made it easy throughout the entire purchase process. One thing that separates this dealership from others is that Marc and his colleagues are not "in your face" forcing you to buy every single car you see. They gave us plenty of space and time to weigh our options until we were comfortable to make an offer. It's clear that their laid back approach to selling cars works well, because all the salespeople were busy during each of our visits there. We had to make an appointment to ensure there was going to be someone to help us. At other dealerships, we felt pressured to buy a car, but at MetroWest Subaru, no one pressured us; instead, Marc was patient and gave us room to breathe. Price negotiations also went smoothly, because there wasn't too much back and forth, and we felt we got a good deal with our trade-in and purchase combined. Finally, the person who helped us with the financial paperwork (sorry for not remembering his name) was also friendly and clearly laid out all our options without pushing us to buy any unnecessary service add-ons. One growth area for this dealership is that when they installed the auto-starter, they didn't reset the trip computer, so when we went for the inspection on our own, it failed. It would've been helpful if they gave us a heads up about that before we went in for the inspection, just to set our expectations, like they did in all other aspects of their interaction with us. It is worth noting, too, that Marc ensured that we got fully reimbursed (promptly) for all expenses incurred during the vehicle inspection that we opted to do ourselves. They mailed us a check shortly after we emailed Marc our receipts. All in all, my wife and I are very happy with our experience at MetroWest Subaru and will highly recommend it. They actually made the car buying process a pleasant experience for us. P.S: when you're there, ask for Marc Soloway and bring a couple of inspirational quotes to share -- he loves these and has got a lot of them! :-)

Jeff Ricard is a fantastic Sales Consultant. He really is a Consultant more than a Sales guy. We had been to several other dealerships before we met Jeff. We told him we didn't want the high pressure sales pitch and he honored that. He also respected that we did wanted to do our research and take our time. He knows a lot about the car we bought, could answer all of our questions and really cared about us making the decision that was right for us at a time that would work for us. He also is a very nice, likeable, genuine and honest person. We trust him. It is for all these reasons we gave him our business. Once we made our decision, we didn't want to buy the car from anyone else.

I finally had to search further from home to find my car. I happened upon a listing for Metrowest Subaru where they advertised what I was looking for. Everyone I talked to was so friendly! They carved out plenty of time to answer all my questions. And they gave me a very fair offer on my trade in! Everything they said was honest and up front. MetroWest's service department can get very busy sometimes, but once you get an appointment, they treat you like family. I was able to get an appointment within a few days. I dropped my Legacy off in the morning and was given a brand new, very clean, top-of-the-line Forester (i.e., navigation, panoramic moonroof, HD radio, etc.) to drive as a free loaner for the day. By late morning, I received a call informing me that they had diagnosed the problem (bad A/C compressor) and would order the part for delivery that day. They expected to receive the part by 3PM and would be able to finish the work by 5PM. Like clockwork, I was told that the car was ready at 5PM. Since I work late, they told me that I could pick up my keys from anyone in the sale department until 7:45PM, which was very convenient. When picking up the car, I was in and out in 5 minutes and the A/C worked perfectly. Altogether, it was one of the easiest interactions that I've had for service over many years of car ownership. I am very happy that I bought a Subaru, and even happier that I can go to MetroWest Subaru for service.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. There was no pressure or the typical sleazy car salesmanship you would encounter at many dealers. They gave me a very fair trade in price on my used vehicle and worked very quickly to get me the car I wanted the day I test drove it. To sweeten the deal even more, they gave me an amazing rate on financing for my purchase, even better than what my bank was offering. If you're looking for a new or used Subaru definitely give these guys a shot.

After some negotiation, my offer price was accepted. Marc pointed out some minor cosmetic damage that I hadn't even noticed on my own, and asked them to repair it at my expensive prior to taking delivery of the vehicle. To my surprise, Tom, the used car operations manager, had repairs made (involved replacing the passenger side side-view mirror) at there expense...this was after the deal had been signed and I already thought that I had a fair price on the vehicle. No matter how good of a deal you make on a large purchase, you usually always leave wondering/feeling that you could have done even better; however, in this case, I drove away feeling great! I can honestly say that I would recommend them to others, and in fact, I will likely be giving them business again on a new Subaru when my trusty Toyota Tundra (270,000 miles) finally needs replacing.Respectfully,-Jeff

Because of the logistics of our move from New York City to the Boston area, my wife and I needed to ask Metrowest Subaru to do some creative problem solving about the process for purchasing and picking up our new 2014 Subaru Forester. Our salesman, Josh Geller, and the others at Metrowest were uniformly positive, responsive, and proactive in all of their dealings with us. We were able to complete all the steps we needed to in order to purchase our new car, and we were thrilled with the results and the process.

I was originally looking to upgrade from a 2002 Impreza Sport Outback Wagon to a 2014 Forester and used Consumer Reports TrueCar.com service. MetroWest had a good price and called me back right away. When I went in, I decided I preferred the styling of the Impreza and or Crosstrek over the Forester. The sales consultant, Matt Donadio introduced himself in a friendly manner and treated me and my partner with respect, friendliness and like we had a brain.Matt was outstanding. He took us for a test drive, politely offering the passenger seat to my partner during the test drive. He was patient with my questions and never showed any annoyance when I called him and I changed my mind from an Impreza Sport Wagon to a Crosstrek at the 11th hour after the dealership had closed. Matts follow-up to my verbal phone purchase was sending me a message with a photo of what was to be my new car a really nice touch that I very much appreciated!I liked the way Matt approached every step of the process from the trade-in to ensuring the final paperwork with the Finance Manager was as painless as possible. I appreciated the way Matt spent extra time showing us what we could and couldnt do with our iPhones and the electronic system. When we left the lot we were all set up with our devices! Yay!Matt is down to earth and cares. He told me to call him, if I ever needed anything or I ran out of gas and was nearby. This is my 4th new Subaru buying experience and Matt made sure it was my best car buying experience ever!

The Metrowest experience was phenomenal from start to finish. From checking out used vehicles on their website all the way to driving off the lot with our new Subaru was a pain free experience. They did a great job of not pressuring us into a sale and they were very helpful when we needed to register the vehicle in another state. Top notch business and I would highly recommend.

I visited several Subaru dealers in the process of purchasing a new Subaru. My initial online inquiry at Metrowest Subaru was answered very quickly, and all my subsequent contacts were handled with great courtesy and effectiveness. My salesperson Jake was outstanding: patient with my questions as I purchased my first new car in 14 years, helpful as I test drove two models trying to make a decision, responsive as we refined the purchase, and thorough in the concluding details. He connected me right away with his sales manager in case I needed him in the future or during the process of my purchase for any reason, and he anticipated my future schedule with the service department, reinforcing the feeling of a full-service dealership. Jake's friendly and informative manner made the process, which I was not looking forward to, especially as I had a short deadline for obtaining a new vehicle, very pleasant and efficient. I. Was also assured I can call or visit anytime if I have further questions as I get familiar with my car. Bottom line: excellent experience with dealership and I love my new car!

Despite it being 2013, buying a car can still feel much like we are in the 1950's . . . where the sales rep disappears into some mysterious "back room" to speak to "god knows who" to try and get you the "best deal possible" . . . only to return with a disappointed look on their face and say, "man, we just couldn't do it, it would have been at a financial loss to the dealership of at least $5000. BUT good news, we ARE willing to take a $2000 loss (because we like you so much, and you happen to come in today on the general managers anniversary) so here you go. All-in-all only slightly less slimy feeling than going to a strip club (not that I would know about such things, but anyway). However, THAT WAS NOT my experience at Metrowest Subaru. The sales person I worked with was remarkably "normal", easy going and informed. I understand that he and the dealership have to make some money on the transaction, and he assisted me in finding a terrific car at a fair price. The finance manager rolled out the typical bag of "supplemental coverage options" but was informative, clear, thoughtful and not pushy at all.Overall, it was a fair and honest interaction . . . and I left feeling pleased with the car and the price that I ended up with. I only wish that more dealerships would follow this lead, and we could move away from the model of sitting at a cubicle on the showroom floor in a painful waiting game, craning our necks to look at the "turned monitor" so they can show us the "carfax".I would certainly recommend metrowest (Josh and their finance manager) in particular.

My Forester was totally dead; it was Memorial Day and service shops were closed. I went to the Metrowest dealership. Marc Soloway, a salesperson, asked if he could be of help. I told him what my problem was and he thought he knew what was wrong. He got into his car and followed me to my home, approximately 6 miles away. His analysis (dead battery) was correct and he successfully started the car, much to my relief. I had not bought the Forester at that dealership, so that level of service stunned and thrilled me and Metrowest Subaru has made a friend for life.

Tony Chahwan was the best car sales person I have dealt with. He was not pushy what-so-ever and he was very patient. Tony is very up-front and candid, he does not try to "sell" you a car. His approach is that of a professional who is going to assist you with your car selection and help you throughout the process. Tony was very knowledgeable regarding all aspects Subaru vehicles - especially the mechanical aspects and how the cars are manufactured. He is an excellent representative of this automobile. Tony was very reassuring during the sales process and my entire experience working with him was excellent. He delivered on exactly what he said he would do at the time he promised. It was a great car buying experience working with him. I would not recommend anyone else at Metrowest other than Tony. He is #1.

I would like to recommend Jake McEvoy, Sales Consultant, at Metrowest Subaru, for his professional, no-pressure sales approach. It had been 13 years since I bought a new car, and I will not wait as long to buy another given the positive experience I had working with Jake and the rest of the staff at Metrowest. Prior to going to any dealerships, I did extensive research using Consumer Guide Reports and Edmunds.com to choose a car. My priorities were safety and reliability and the Subaru Impreza satisfied my requirements. I chose the dealership using the AAA Car Buying Program, the No Haggle, No Hassle, online car buying tool. You input the make, model, trim line, transmission, and any options you want, and the tool outputs three certificates from competing dealers. Metrowest had the lowest price. When I met Jake, I explained I would buy the car if I liked the test drive and Metrowest honored the buying certificate from AAA. I liked the car and Metrowest offered me a price lower than the certificate. Easy decision. Throughout the entire buying experience Jake was knowledgeable and very respectful, never pressuring me to make any decisions before I was ready. The easy-going approach didn't end after making the deal. Jake took his time and patiently taught me how to use all the new technology on the car. It was a very satisfying new car buying experience for me.

This is the 3rd car we have purchased from Jeff at MetroWest. We went there originally because of the CostCo auto program and keep going back because of the amazing service and best deal anywhere. In this day and age to work with people so straightforward and intent on quality customer service is rare. This time out we had intended to buy the Limited because I wanted the Navigation package and we had to go up to that. Jeff could have sold us this more expensive car, but had the Premium fully loaded in the color I wanted right there. He knew I didn't care about a moonroof and other things like that from working with us before. Terrific price, which we recognized from having rpiced various 2013 Imprezzas online plus he threw in all weather mats. It's the little things. We have recommended MeroWest to many people and please note this is not the nearest dealership to us. Years ago for our first Subaru we went there and it was all we could do to get anyone's attention, let alone sell us a car. In our dealings at MetroWest I have watched the other salespeople with customers and they are uniformly excellent. You are not going to get a hard sell here. What you will get is the feeling that you are with people who sincerely want to do the best they can for you. I love my new car!P.S. I heard about you because I asked the dealership if there was something I could fill out about how great the experience has always been.

After reading many reviews of buyers' experiences at Subaru dealers in the greater Boston area, I decided to visit MetrowestSubaru first. I was immediately impressed by the friendly, low-key and knowledgeable attention my wife and I received fromMarc Soloway. Although I had decided exactly which model (an Outback 2.5 limited) and options I wanted to purchase beforeI entered the dealership, we had a pleasant meeting as Marc took the time to get to know us, brought up points we hadn'tconsidered, and left no stone unturned in our Subaru education. The purchase experience was prompt, competent, and freeof unpleasant surprises. The business manager deserves special note for an unusually clear presentation of financing and warrantyoptions. Marc took the time to explain everything. In that this was my first new car purchase in 10 years, there were a lot of newthings, mostly electronic , to explain. Everyone Marc introduced us to at the dealership couldn't have been friendlier in a genuine, eager to help way. Overall, Marc provided me with my most positive new car buying experience in over 40 years.

I just purchased my first Subaru (Outback) from Metrowest, and could not be happier. My decision to purchase a Subaru was made long before deciding on a dealer to work with. With that being the first step, I was then left with the decision of where to buy the car. This was a very involved process, as there are several options in the area. My approach was to visit a dealer, get a sense of what they were looking for, and see if if matched what I was looking for (which by the way was a good deal and a long-term relationship). What I got from almost all of the not to be named dealers was an attempt to size me up to see how deep my wallet was, a pre-judgement of how I could help them meet their quota for the month, and focus only on a quick, one time sale. No thank you! What I got with Metrowest, and more specifically Jeff Ricard, was the following. Jeff allowed me to spend time getting to know him, and what he and Metrowest stood for. At no time did he ask how much I had to spend, or try to push me into an immediate sale. At the end of our conversation, we shook hands, and left it at that. I got the information that I needed, and didn't feel pressured. Sign me up! From there, the negotiation was handled very fairly and was also very transparent. The end result was that I am in a great car, and have linked up with a dealership that I will work with for a very long time. If you want a dealer that will treat you with respect, and look to provide a win/win outcome, Jeff and Metrowest will deliver that.

Emailed the salesman from whom we bought the 2011 car about a recall notice repair and fixing a side mirror. No response. Called the service department, and Mike suggested bringing the car in (40 minute drive) to look at the mirror, first emailing him pictures of the mirror so that he could see if they could repair it with parts in stock. I send him the pictures, then brought the car in at the agreed on time and day. No sign of Mike. The service desk knew nothing of pictures. Bob Montpelier sold ($120) me an oil change and tire rotation (at, it turned out when I looked it up at home, more than twice the price usually charged for a synthetic oil change), said they'd check on the mirror, and promised a wait of 1.5-2 hours, short enough so that I wouldn't need a loaner. The wait turned out to be 3 hours. The mirror, fully functional except for a crack in the housing, would need to be completely replaced said Bob, at a cost of $360 ($210 is the MSRP, $160 is the standard online price) and a wait of another 3-5 business days, plus another round trip to see them. On departing, I found that in replacing the center seat belt, they had removed the child's seat in back -- which they didn't mention -- without reattaching it. Time, money, honesty, responsiveness -- you name it, they didn't have it.

I am a fussy shopper and basically don't trust stock brokers or car dealerships. I am not sure which are worse. But I needed a new car, and after owning two Subarus that was all that I wanted to look at. I went online and had lots of good and reasonable offers for the car I wanted from the various Subaru dealers in the area. I gave only a slight preference to MetroWest Subaru because of closeness to my home. I was quite prepared to go to another dealer if price or any aspect of the relationship did not go right. The salesman we worked with was Marc Soloway. I guess the best thing a customer can say is that I would buy from him again. There was no bull***t in the dealing. Marc was honest and very helpful. The negotiation was straight forward with Marc the 'middleman' between his management and me. We arrived at what I felt was a very fair deal. When the car was ready Marc did not just hand me the keys with wishes of happy driving. Instead, he patiently took all the time necessary for my spouse and I to understand and operate all the features of the car. Not a small feat given all the Bluetooth and other electronic features. All in all, I am a happy customer thanks to Mark. I plan to write another review after I have had sufficient time to judge the service department.

I had a very bad buying experience with thie Metrowest Sudaru dealership. I came to buy a new car and their sales team of 3 agressively pushed me to buy their used 2012 car for the price of a new one. They also offered to trade in my other car for a very low price (20% under the fare market price.) After 1.5 hours of negotiation and mostly waiting for them to look up data on their computer and just before signing, I decided to get out of the deal and leave but then the sales person said: " We did not spend the 2 hours overtime for nothing" They have already pulled out the plate from my car and they gave no sign that they are going to put it back soon. Instead they asked for a few more minutes to talk to their management on a price reduction. The more senior sales person came back after another 1/2 an hour with a resonable price for my trade in car and a price that was about 10% above the fare market price for the Subaru. I ended up buying the car. I enjoy the car... but I will never buy a car from this dealership. I will never again spend hours in waiting for the sales person to talk to his manager and for the manager to talk to his manager just to find out that I paid more than the fair market price.I felt exhosted after this buying experience. Post sale customer service was good.

We were looking for a used Forester and found the exact car we wanted on the lot, gave it a drive and began to negotiate. Jeff was pleasant to deal with and in response to the overall price of the car, responded with "It's what you want to pay for it." Now really. The dealership may have budged $50 on their original price after a good hour of negotiating. In addition, I didn't feel heard when I asked to begin with overall price v. monthly payment options. I had to ask 3 times before he began speaking on my terms. We walked away from a great car that we would have bought because the dealer was not willing to negotiate at a level we felt was appropriate, and while we were negotiating, I was checking KBB for appropriate pricing. We walked away from a beautiful, quality, used car, went down the road and purchased a brand new Forester for $3k more at Patrick Subaru where they were willing to give us a beyond fair price for a car. I picked up my new car last night, which had just been delivered from the port, with only 6 miles on it, v. a car with 30K on it! #happiness!

I just purchased a new Subaru from Metrowest. I started this process months back, and selected the dealer I wished to work with based on the customer service they provided to me over time (ie, respecting my contact preferences, accuracy of info, friendliness of interactions). Metrowest won hands down. Their business development manager, Diana, was really fabulous about giving me any info I requested yet not pressuring me or contacting me outside the bounds of necessary communication. (Unlike every single other dealer, whose emails I eventually had to mark as "spam" because they would not, even on direct request, stop coming.)Anyhow. It also worked out because I'm a Costco member, and this is the Mass. dealership with which they work for their Auto Program. Ultimately I'm very glad this coincided with my free choice in the matter, because I got an excellent price and the process was completely painless. For service on-site, I worked with Jeff. He was friendly, down to earth, and very knowledgeable. There aren't many 2013 Imprezas floating around at the moment, and I appreciated that they found another dealer--in Maine--with whom to trade so I could get the car I wanted, faster. I know they're out to make money and the faster they sell a car the faster they make it, but that's fine. They have to earn a living, too.Jeff spent a ton of time with me and my husband on our test-drive visit (a much more satisfactory and informative test drive than I had at Clay, in Norwood). He also (a) was willing to come in on his off days if that was the time that would work best for me to pick up the car, and then (b) agreed--he was sort of volunteered by another staff member--to just drive the car out to me at my office when the paperwork was done on it, to save me the trip. So, yeah. That's pretty cool. He also took charge of getting our old POS donated to charity, which saved us some hassle. The other staff member I just mentioned was Mary, the finance manager. So awesome. She did a bit of successful up-selling in terms of warranty and extras, but without pressure--just laying out her opinion and my options. She gave me an absolutely phenomenal rate, gave me some good and pertinent credit advice, and in general made me feel well taken care of. She made things quite clear and was patient with me when I wanted things explained a few times.I hope that they turn out to be a good service provider, long-term, but the customer service I have so far experienced has been stellar and I would recommend them to anyone.

We were pleasantly surprised with our experience at Metrowest Subaru. We went in, considering the purchase of a Forester, and we were expecting a very aggressive sales call, which had been our experience with other dealerships. Not the case with Metrowest Subaru. The salesman, Marty Ross, was very professional, very knowledgeable, and very attentive. He was totally focused on us and making our experience as good as it could be. We found Metrowest to be very straightforward in their pricing, and the employees acted more like sales consultants who were there to help you with what YOUR needs are. We left, buying a Subaru Outback, because we happened to prefer that. Marty, his manager, and the billing associate made each step very smooth, and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

The entire experience at MetroWest Subaru was excellent. My Sales Rep. was Josh Geller. Josh knows his product better than any salesperson I've ever encountered. He's a laid-back guy who won't waste your time or play games or pressure you in any way. His consultative sales style comes naturally, and doesn't fit any negative stereotype that exists in the auto/sales industry. The Sales Manager (or maybe he is General Manager) was named V.J., and he is as much a gentleman and professional as Josh is. And the Finance Manager, Mary, is great also. And the service department's Sean Fitzpatrick is another asset to the dealership.Big thanks and much appreciation to this fine Subaru dealer.

Sam was great to work with -- no pressure, straightforward, and I think I got a fair deal. I walked in, told him what I was interested in, and he immediately showed me what was available on the lot (I was looking to buy very soon, as my old car was dying). Not pushy in the least, I felt very comfortable dealing with him.

Marc Soloway, our sales person, was wonderful to work with. We had issues with the delivery of our car, first a delay in actually getting it (our initial purchase was stuck at the port, but Marc found us a dealer trade) and then some minor damage to the car occurred just prior to final delivery. Marc stayed with the issues and followed up with us on a regular basis, and demonstrated how much he cared. It's one thing when everything goes smoothly, when everyone on both sides is "happy". But when things go awry, that's when service counts, and at the end of the day we know that we had the right guy in Marc working with us. We will recommend him to anyone considering a new or used car purchase.

Fantastic experience. It is so rare to find a sales person that enjoys the job as much as Jeff. He is very personable and enthusiastic. I had my first Subaru from MetroWest 11 years ago, and came back again. Everything was done promptly, with great care.

The salesman was not friendly and was more pushy than the other dealers I worked with, but he offered me the best price for the car I wanted. I put a deposit on the car. He accepted it and withdrew the money from my account. The next day he contacted me to say even though he filed the paperwork and took my money, his dealership sold the car to someone else. He offered me a different car, one I didn't want, for the same price he had quoted previously. I complained to him that it was not right to promise me a car he couldn't deliver, and it even worse to fill a contract, take my money, and then try and sell me a different car. He was unapologetic so I spoke to his manager, who quickly turned hostile. The manager shouted at me, told me to take my deposit back, and get out of his dealership.I spoke to every Subaru dealership in the Greater Boston area, and I don't recommend MetroWest Subaru to anyone. I am completely unsatisfied with their customer care, their service, and their work. They did give me the best quote on the car I wanted, but they failed to deliver the car. There are many Subaru dealerships in the area, and I recommend them all over MetroWest Subaru.

As an unexperienced new car buyer, Tony Chahwan had lots of patience with me. He showed me all the possible options that were available and had me test drive whatever I wanted. He was extremely helpful and professional. In my search for a new car, I went to several dealerships and by far Tony clinched the deal for me to purchase a Subaru from Metrowest. Also VJ, the Sales Manager took the time to explain all the options and I feel that I received a good deal. If you are in the market for a new car, I would highly recommend this dealership and more important Tony - A+ salesman!!We went in to buy one car and it ended up that my boyfriend also bought a Legacy because he was so impressed with the car, the dealership and the staff. They were wonderful to work with and made it rather fun - go there if you are in the market for a vehicle - new or used - you won't be disappointed.

We wanted to drop a quick note to say how extremely impressed we were with the entire sales experience at MetroWest Subaru. We just picked up our new 2012 Subaru Forrester and we could not be more delighted. We were not in a rush for the vehicle and had been shopping for several months at area dealerships. Your sales representative, Jacob Mcevoy was persistent in his approach dropping us an e-mail every couple of weeks to see if he could answer any questions or be of assistance. When we were ready, he was extremely prompt in returning calls and answering questions. He clearly demonstrated that he was interested in helping but not being pushy. When we made the deal, we were escorted over to meet Marc Soloway who was extremely professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of the car and the process. He was efficient, took me through all of the options, the details of the price and then made an appointment for me with financing. I came back in on Sunday and met the Finance Manager who was also very professional and customer focused. While I cannot recall his name, he had most of my information already pre-filled in his computer before I walked in. He too took me through the entire process, explaining each aspect of the financing deal and the pros and cons of each options without pushing. It allowed me to evaluate each option and make informed decisions that would work best for my situation. The entire process took less than 1/2 hour, however, there was no rushing through. Finally, we went back to pick up the car this afternoon. Marc Soloway had e-mailed me earlier in the day to confirm our appointment and to keep me posted on the progress to get the registration and plates completed. Upon arrival, Marc was very professional and customer friendly to my wife and two boys. He took us on a tour of the dealership and made introductions to the service team. Taking us out to the vehicle, he took the time to explain every option and all of the technology. He was very detailed and took great care to review each feature and make sure that we understood and above all felt comfortable. At the end, Marc made sure to give us his card with his cell number and suggested that we feel free to call him with any questions and offered to have us come back to review any of the features if we felt the need. All and all the service experience from top to bottom was a 10. Very professional and very customer focused. We will definitely be recommending MetroWest to our friends and colleagues! Thanks again. Steve and Lonni Campbell

I was told by our sales associate that we could pick up our car and everything would be ready including the remote starter we had paid for. He called day of pick up and said the part was not in yet and that we could wait another day or schedule a service appointment. Due to my busy work schedule and my girlfriends' we needed to have the car sooner rather than later and we could not do a weekday appointment. I schedule one for that weekend. Mid-week I received a call to say the technician would be out that weekend. I had to push back the appointment one more weekend. I wrote and email to the manager explaining the lack of service from not giving us the proper time frame and being less than sympathetic. We were a young couple they gave no time to and it showed. I explained that I would take my service business elsewhere and not recommend the dealership based on my experience. To my surprise the manager was not interested in talking to me. He came on strong defending his employees and not recognizing the error of his own employees and their lack of going the extra mile. Rather than have me as an unhappy customer he decided to refund the remote starter to go and have it installed somewhere else. No attempt was made to turn an unhappy customer into a happy customer. Just cut the losses and move on. Needless to say I am very happy with the dealship I am going to and I called the national customer service line to speak with them about my metrowest experience and they provided the excellent service I expected from Subaru.

I visited this dealership 4 years ago and was deciding between a Mazda CX7 and the Outback. At that time I went in the other direction, but it was a tough choice. While the CX7 was a fun car, it lacked several things I've grown to love about my new Outback: seat comfort, 6-speed manual transmission, great cargo space.Marc remembered me from my first visit when I returned 3 years later. He's extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and just a fun person to hang out with, never mind the sale!It was actually 5 minutes before closing time when my wife and I decided to test drive one more car, which turned out to be the vehicle for us. Your sales and service department are TOP NOTCH! I do not go to any other service department because you do such a great job. The staff reviews what they will do, perform the job, come to you and review what was performed on your car (if anything unexpected was found, etc.), and then "ask for your autograph" (i.e. sign and date at the bottom).Sales department is courteous, friendly, and experienced. I started by speaking to Jake McEvoy on the phone. Sam Mayer was the salesperson I worked with. He was very nice and respectful. My lease on my 2009 Outback was about to expire, and I decided I wanted to lease a 2012 Outback. I spoke with other dealerships and got other price quotes, but the other dealerships didn't know my preferences well. Sam and I worked together to find the right car I wanted with the right features I needed. His Sales Manager, VJ Donnelly, was also a pleasure to work with. The dealership owner, Frank Hanenberger, is one of the nicest people I have met. He is a genuine and loyal Subaru guy, through and through. (Apparently he drives one himself!) Jonathan Boske (another loyal Subaru fan), in the Finance Department, was great. He was straightforward and explained all the terms very clearly.MetroWest Subaru is truly a Family-friendly dealership. The customer waiting area on the second floor is comfortable and spacious. Big, black leather couches and chairs provide a great place to sit and relax (or take a nap!). There is a nice refreshment area for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, and snacks, complete with all the fixings (cups, sugar, cream, stirrers). If you don't have any of your own reading material, there is plenty to choose from in the magazine racks provided. There is also a TV with cable. When customers bring their kids, there are some toys for them to play with and keep them occupied. Adjacent to the lounge area is a conference room with a big table, where you can get work done or make phone calls if necessary. The location is convenient and easy for me to get to, your staff is friendly and treats everyone with respect, and your service department is great. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm so glad I have my THIRD Subaru with you guys.

Was recommended by a friend, but waited 2 months for a pre-2009 Subaru. Nothing. When they finally had one it was priced way higher than consumer guides said it was worth. THey had me come in hinting the price was negotiable. When I got there apparently it wasn't. The salesmen were nice enough (although they WAY lowballed the trade-in worth -according to Kelly Blue Book), but just don't seem interested in selling a car unless you are willing to pay original asking price. Which is too high. Momma didn't raise a fool. Very disappointed in this place.

I live in NY and my wife and I searched all over the east coast for a mini van. We recently had twins and wanted to make sure we had the right vehicle for our family. I had a friend that recommended I call Metrowest in Natick, MA because they have access and can find all types of vehicles. Everyone I spoke to and dealt with at Metrowest was amazing. They followed up immediately and made everything clear throughout the process. They even took the time to fill out all the confusing and necessary paper work out required for the DMV. When we arrived to the dealership to pick up the new vehicle, all of the employees were kind, professional and willing to help. I highly recommend Metrowest and we will certainly purchase our next vehicle from them.

We tried to purchase a subaru at this dealership--wouldn't negotiate much on the sticker price and offered us significantly less for our trade than 2 other dealerships. Have heard from 2 other friends they wouldn't go back here either. We got a call the next day they were willing to negotiate, but we had already made our decision for another car. Like the cars, but won't deal with this attitude. Sales rep was polite, it was the "management approval" and other personnel layers that were a turn off. My friends did buy a subaru, but from another dealer with a much better experience. Advice is to shop around before signing here.

My wife, daughter, and I have purchased vehicles from MetroWest Subaru. The dealership was one of five that I researched for my family prior to purchasing vehicles from MetroWest. I purchased two Impreza 4-door sedans (2009 and 2010). My wife purchased a 5-door 2009 Impreza. My daughter recently purchased a 2011 Forester. The main reason for choosing MetroWest for our purchases was Michael Beckman (Sales Consultant). His patience, knowledge, and courteous manner were keys to establishing a postive dialogue that provided us with an environment that made us feel that we were more than just another customer. Mike did not pressure us to make a deal. He allowed us the time to think. Throughout the time we dealt with Mike, we were impressed with his honesty and his ability to communicate with us in customer-friendly terms. Without question, based on our experience, Mike has the ability to communicate with his customers in such a way that they enter a comfort zone (uncommon when it comes to buying a vehicle). Based on my experience with MetroWest, I highly recommend this dealership for consideration.

While we knew we wanted the Outback, there were many trims and options to choose from. Matt was VERY patient and did a great job explaining the differences between them. I had a great experience purchasing my 2011 Impreza sedan from MetroWest Subaru. They did a straight up deal with me from start to finish. I had requested prices online from four local dealerships. I visited MetroWest first because they had given me the lowest price. Though I was skeptical when I walked in, I met Sam, the Sales Consultant, who said he would sell me the car for the price they had quoted. I was surprised but was not ready to commit at the moment because I wanted to check around. Sam introduced me to V.J., the Sales Manager, who assured me that the deal was what it appeared to be, and then they let me walk out the door with no pressure. I greatly appreciated that. I visited another dealership in my own back yard and was basically dismissed because I was not ready to do the deal then and there. I did some further checking via e-mail, based on the price that MetroWest had committed to, and determined that I was going back the following day. They knew I was not looking for any options, so they did not push any. We discussed a figure for my trade, which was a 12 year old car with 160,000 miles on it. They gave me what I felt was a fair price. I already had my own financing, so they weren't getting any benefit from that. We signed the deal. They found me what I wanted and I picked up my new car a week and a half later. They were all gracious and respectful throughout the process, a real pleasure to do business with.

Within a day I had a great quote and started shopping the other dealerships in the region; the price on my 2011 Outback was fantastic. My saleman Jeff, took care of everything and kept the dialog open. I even made a last minute request by changing the color. They went out and found the exact car and honored the original price. My husband and I had a fantastic experience purchasing our new 2011 Subaru Forester Touring edition through Metrowest! It was honestly the most hassle free car purchasing I had ever experienced! We shopped around for prices, and when we found that Metrowest had the particular model and color car that we were interested in, we brought the lowest price that we had been quoted to them, hoping that they would match it or beat it. They not only matched the price without ANY haggling, they gave us special touches that I really wanted added to the car, such as a rear spoiler, for invoice cost. Also, my car was being shipped in from where it was being manufactured. Though I was told early on that the dealership would have no idea of when the car would actually arrive to port, Marty made it a point to send me emails just keeping me updated on news on arrival of the car. He was so helpful! Everyone at Metrowest was a dream to work with, and Marty Ross, the sales person we worked with was very down to earth, personable, and just overall GREAT! Of all 3 dealerships that we went to (Clay in Norwood and Quirk in Braintree), Metrowest was the first one that actually had salesmen who werent pushy and irritating, just really down to earth and honest. My husband and I could not believe how easy setting up the deal was, and we were both so comfortable with the entire team at Metrowest, that we will definitely be return customers in the future!

MetroWest Subaru was a great dealership to work with in buying my new car. They are the closest to where I live so I went there first, but I also checked out a couple other Subaru dealers for comparison. I ended up sealing the deal at MetroWest because they were the best! Everyone I dealt with at MetroWest Subaru made my car buying experience pleasant and thoughtful instead of painful, or even scary! I was prepared and had done all my research, and when I stepped into MetroWest Subaru I was promptly greeted by Tony C who was very friendly and knowledgable. We went on a test drive and he was very patient and pointed things out that I might have missed. He genuinely made sure that I was happy with all aspects of the car buying experience. Really I couldn't have asked for anything more. We went over all the options available and negotiated a fair price. He was easily accessible by phone if needed and explained everything very clearly. I have visited many of the different car dealerships in this area and by far Tony was the best sales person I have met, and I am really happy with the car I purchased. I chose MetroWest Subaru primarily because of proximity to my home. My first impression visiting the dealership was extremely positive and subsequent visits, phone calls, etc. continued that first experience. I have nothing but good things to say with respect to the purchasing process. I always felt that I was being helped to purchase a car rather than the old traditional being sold a car approach I had experienced at other dealerships. Congrats! This actually makes buying a car enjoyable.I worked with a representative named Tony. Tony was cordial, knowledgeable, and patient - always quick to get back to me with answers to my numerous questions. All of the others that I interacted with, either on the phone, or in person, were equally pleasant. My wife and I were initially undecided on which model we wanted multiple test drives helped us finalize this decision. Special thanks to Marc who coordinated the second set of test drives, and also Matthew, VJ, and Jonathon. I had done a lot of online research on features and prices. I was expecting a long negotiation, but was pleasantly surprised when they beat my best offer by quite a lot. I was also impressed with the discussion with the financial specialist. Very organized, efficient, knowledgeable, and totally non-pushy.All in all, I was impressed with MetroWest dealership, the purchase process, and especially the people.

I just bought my third Subaru. The first, a 98 Legacy, I traded when I bought number 2, an 2004 Subaru Forester XT. I bought a 2011 WRX this week.I began servicing my first Subaru at Metro West when I moved to the area in 1993 (it was Natick Subaru then.) I have always been pleased with the service there. Mike Sheehey, the service manager, is never too busy to answer a question for me. Sean and the other mIke in service are also very helpful. Also they are very generous with a loaner car if I need to leave the car all day. When it was time to think about a new car, there was no reason not to try Metro West first. Since then, it is the only place I would shop. I bought my 04 and the 2011 from Sam Mayer becuase he is very easy to deal with. When I buy a car, I do not like to be rushed. In fact I may visit Sam multiple times before I feel ready. Sam never rushes me, always treats me with respect, and I feel want to meet my needs. I always make a point of chatting with him about cars in generla when I go in for service. I highly recommend Metro West Subaru.

I usually hate buying a car. I dread the idea of talking to some money-hungry salesman who is trying to sell me and go. Fortunately, salesman Matthew Donadio was phenomenal. I am usually resistant to even talk with salesmen, but Matthew immediately made my wife and I feel comfortable and respected. He had an easygoing charm during our interactions, and his knowledge about cars was impressive. Not only did he know EVERYTHING there is to know about the Subaru Impreza WRX that I eventually bought, but he knew everything about the car that I was trading in as well. I appreciate his fine attention to detail, as he walked me through the pros and cons of the 2009 WRX. He explained the subtle differences between the newer models at full price and the older used models. He explained the differences between the WRX and the standard Impreza, so that I felt comfortable in my understanding of the product I was getting. The car I bought had very low miles, and the price fit my budget, so I bought it. Every friend of mine who is a car fanatic has told me that I got a great deal on a great car, that Matthew steered me well in this purchase (pardon the pun). Matthew was clearly not just interested in a sale. When I arrived several days later to pick up the car, Matthew was there waiting for me. He was extremely helpful in teaching me how to link my cellphone to the bluetooth hands free system in the car, and he walked me through the functions of the GPS system (I had never used one before). Before leaving, he had me navigate the GPS system to make sure I knew how to do it. I made some mistakes and got confused a few times, but he patiently guided me until I got it all right. As you've probably noticed, I can't say enough about Matthew's level of knowledge and professionalism. If you go to MetroWest Subaru, I hope Matthew is your salesman. You will not be disappointed.

My new Outback is the second car I purchased from Metrowest Subaru! I saw my 2011 Outback advertised on MetroWest Subaru's website and took the opportunity to upgrade the older Outback that I had been driving. I specifically worked with Michael Petrick (GM) and Marc Soloway (sales) to trade my current car, finance the new car, transfer my XM subscriptions and add the options that I wanted - all resulting in me feeling like a very valued customer. Michael and Marc were so helpful and knowledgeable; they truly went out of their way to make sure I drove off the lot safe and happy - and I did. The dealership was clean and welcoming. The waiting room was very comfortable and I was able to get some work done using their wireless. MetroWest is not the closest dealer to me, by far, but they're my #1 Subaru dealership and the extra miles I travel are definitely worth it.

Very friendly and honest. No pressure, as in other dealerships. Both the sales person and the sales manager were very solicitous, and they bent over backwards to ensure that we would get the deal we wanted.Easy to talk to, comfortable negotiation. We walked out with a car, feeling good about the transaction.

I have leased two cars from this dealership. The staff is friendly, patient, and attentive. All my questions were answered without judgement. I would not hesitate to continue to business with MetroWest, and have recommended it to my friends, family, and associates. Love the Subarus too!

I have been going to this dealership for many years, and I have purchased two new vehicles from them. Their sales people AND their service people have always been delightful to work with. They have a nice waiting room and are willing to provide a loaner vehicle, for any non-trivial service. They have always been able to fit me in when I have an emergency which requires immediate attention.

We purchased a Forester from this dealership after test driving one at a different dealership. We really liked the car but did not like the dealership. We talked to VJ Donnelly and told him what we were looking for. He had exactly the car we wanted and we were able to negotiate a lease price that was within our budget. VJ was extremely knowledgeable and very professional during all of our proceedings. The car has proven to be a Godsend during this snowy winter. We have had absolutely no problems with the car. We cannot comment on the service dept because we have not used Metro West for service. All in all, dealing with Metro West and VJ Donnelly has been a very positive experience.

Metrowest was very easy to work with, I live out of state and they went above and beyond to make my purchase of a new car very easy. They took care of all cross state tax and registering for me. They offered to pick me up in Boston when i arrived and made it a very easy process. VJ Donnelly was the sales manager that I worked with, between him and his team I had very little to do but show up and buy the car. I would highly recomend them to anyone looking to buy a car.

That was the best car buying experience in my life. I used Costco program. The price was great. Jeff Ricard helped me thru the whole process. He explain me the difference b/w Subaru models, pointed on advantages/disadvantages of car colors, answered all my technical questions, set up wireless connection in my new car. He was very professional and friendly. No pushing or idle talk. Thank you!

We have purchased or leased four Subaru Outbacks from MetroWest over the last eight years. The reception by the sales person was pleasant, timely and courteous. The entire transaction was handled very professionally without the usually purchasing frustrations. When I would bring the vehicle in for service, the service tech was friendly, service was done timely and accurately. If the vehicle was going to be tied up for several hours, a loaner was provided at no charge. The dealership is well run offering competitive pricing as in all of my transactions, I obtained prices from at least one other dealer. In fact, on the last purchase this past August, 2010, I needed to make alterations to delivery time and another item and emailed Mark after 10:30 PM. To my surprise, he responded within fifteen minutes with the answers. I have waited up to three days for email responses from other dealers.M. Alessandri

Michael Petrick was demeaning and reprehensible. He is incapable of listening in an empathetic manner. He will berate you and argue with you without listening or trying to understand. This dealership is going to suffer as long as he is there. He should not be in the car business, or should he? The sales person that I dealt with even tried to do everything possible to help me but to no avail. Michael treated me as if I was dirt, referring to me as "you people" and telling me to "take a nap". I was not sruprised to find out that he has quite a reputation in the industry in the Boston suburbs. And all of this for a $300 mirror that he promised me with my new car purchase... Some people just don't get it... the customer matters...

ZERO stars!! Go here under no circumstances.I am extremely UNSATISFIED with the service provided by Metrowest Subaru.I love my Subaru, and have had great experiences with past Subaru dealerships in the past- this dealership disgraces the good name of Subi's everywhere.I am long winded so for the summary:- Reason for visit: Service related.- They are liars and rip you off- Did not test drive my car before giving it back to me- Returned my "fixed" car in unsafe conditions- Even after I returned it to them to "re-fix" it they returned it to me sounding terrible and it completely broke down due to their negligence 1 month later. - Overall I paid them $4,000, and now my once very nicely running car, is un-driveableI broke down after class and had my 96' Subaru Outbacker at the end of August due to a severe transmission leak, as it was the closest dealership, and I have had good experience at other Subaru Dealerships in the past.It took them several days to even look at my car. Diagnosis: punctured transmission.I was told it would cost $3,500 to replace my transmission, or I could use the car for a trade in. I shopped around for other cars, but was disappointed by the selection. So, I decided to replace the transmission. I was told the car should be fixed by the end of September, or worst case scenario, the first week of October.Since I am under 25 years old, I was not able to get a rental car, very inconvenient. They called me in early October and told me the car was ready, and I could come pick it up.As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot, the car was shaking, and making some very bad noises. Also, the speedometer was acting erratically. I took the first U-turn back to the Subaru Dealer and informed them something was wrong.I was told NO ONE had test driven it before they returned it to me, which seems absolutely ridiculous. Also, since they had not test driven it when I first brought it in, they said they had no idea what the car's baseline had been. Again, I had to be picked up from the dealership as I could not rent a car. They then took about another week to get back to me, and informed me that there were many things wrong with my car, including the driveshaft and back differential. Mike told me I was in a bad situation and should have never fixed my car. Great time to tell me. He said my only option was to spend another $3000 to get the additional damage fixed. He kept insuring me there was no way they could have possibly known these items were damaged without test driving the car. After talking to some mechanics- It turns out that the drive shaft and rear differential are all connected to the transmission- thus, when they replaced the transmission they clearly should have seen the damage. I finally picked up my car ~ 2 weeks later. It still sounded and drove terribly, including with steering problems.I sent an email saying basically all of this to the store manager and received a reply email from Michael Sheehy (service manager) and he asked how often I had the steering issues, I replied back almost all of the time, especially when accelerating or when its wet out. I Never got a response back - apparently allowing a rogue car is not a concern of his. They insisted it wad drive-able - despite my comments of feeling unsafe. 1 month later, my car made some HORRIBLE bumping / grinding noises as if something important was falling off of the bottom and dragging along the road. Of course, this had to happen on the highway. I pulled over and called AAA.I was towed to another service station, who quickly diagnosed my cars issues and stated that it appeared Metrowest did a "Half Job", and "completely ripped [me] off"I hope to NEVER go back to Metrowest Subraru, unless if is finally for some repayment for my time/ money/ frustration.

We went to MetroWest Subaru about three weeks ago to look at two pre-owned Outback wagons they had listed online. The cars were not priced on their website and though I almost always make it a habit not to go to a dealership that doesn't price it's cars upfront, we were in the area so we decided to stop by anyway. BIG MISTAKE. They had some huge "promotion" going on and there were about 50 really desparate-looking people in line. the people all had scratch tickets the dealership had mailed out and the people in line were convinced they were going to win $25,000 or a new car. After waiting about 15 minutes some guy YELLS out "Is anyone actually here to buy a car?!" and I said yes and we went and sat down at one of about 15 folding tables that were setup in the showroom. I noticed the guy who helped me had a southern accent and after asking him about it he said he was from South Carolina - ok that's fine with me. The first thing he asks me is my social security number, income and employer name and like an idiot I gave it to him. (Only later, as we continued our car search elswhere, did I realize that no reputable dealer works this way.) We actually test drove the vehicles and that went fine and the guy was pleasant enough. While we were out on the lot, I noticed another salesman also had a southern accent and I joked "are all of you guys southern here?" and to my surprise he said yes, they were all here for the week "helping out the dealership with a promotion." When I asked more questions, turns out that apparently there are companies that some dealerships hire to come in to run "special promotions" and this guy and his co-workers travel up and down the east coast and are at a different dealership each week - more on this later. After the test drives, we went back in the showroom, sat down and we told him which car we liked better but still asked him to give us their best price on each of the cars. Of course he wanted to know if we were trading in our car and what we wanted for it and what dollar difference could we afford between the trade-in value and the purchase price etc. Consumer Reports warns against this tactic - 'backing-in" to the price - and again I asked him to just give us a price on the cars and then we'd go from there. He said ok, he'd go talk to the sales manager and also asked us for the keys to our Camry so they could appraise it in the meantime, so we gave him the keys. Then we sat ther for 20 minutes. I could see our sales guy go out and look at the Camry but he did not get in it or test drive it. After 20 minutes he came back with a totally confusing piece of paper with numbers and arrows all over it that essentially showed a totally inflated value for our trade in and a number over the trade value that we'd have to pay to purchase the car but no actual price for the car. Oh, and of course it was on the car we were less interested in, which happened to be the newer model of the two we test drove. We reminded him that we had requested a price on both cars but I had him add up the numbers anyway and, surprise, surprise, the price of the car was so high it was laughable. At this point, my patience had run out, there were too many red flags and I said we weren't interested in doing business this way, could we please have our keys so we could leave. Then he said he didn't have our keys, the used car manager had them. I said, ok, where's the used car manager and he said he didn't know. Ok, now I'm really tired of their tactics - they are trying to keep us there by not giving us our keys. He supposedly went to find the sales manager and, unbelievably, we sat there another 15 minutes waiting. Finally, I got up, went into the office where everyone seemed to be hanging out and said, "we want our keys - where are our keys, we want them now." Our guy said he couldn't find the sales manager and I walked back to the showroom to start looking myself. I was ready to call 911 and report our car as stolen. Then, after another five minutes, magically our guy comes back out of the office and has our keys. He kept trying to get us to stay and I just kept saying "We don't do business this way." Then, unbelievably, the sales manager appears out of nowhere and HE tried to get us to stay. When I told HIM "we don't do business this way" he said "Well how do you do business? Tell us, and we'll do business that way." Needless to say we got out of there as fast as we could... I might expect this type of atmosphere at a shady-looking used car lot but not at a dealership. As our car search continued elsewhere, I learned more about these promotions from the salespeople I spoke with. Apparently, the outside companies are hired to bring in high-pressure salespeople, run sleazy scrtach-ticket type adds and proms, remove prices from all the cars, offer crazy trade-in values and then totally jack-up the sales price of the cars they're selling. Why any reputable dealer would ever do this is beyond me because in doing so, they are totally putting their reputation at risk. But then, the answer is right there: No REPUTABLE dealer would ever do this - only a dealership with NO repuation to lose would do this. I will never, ever step foot in this dealership again.

He said that all WRX are sold out and pretty much asked us to get out...

As a repeat Subaru customer, I replaced my 2003 Outback with a 2011 Outback. Our salesman Jeff was friendly, helpful, not pushy, and knew his product.Jonathan the Business manager was friendly, efficient, and also not too pushy.Overall the experience was very good, and the price was competitive. And oh, by the way, the car is pretty great too.I know that this dealer has a so-so average, but that was not my experience.A few years ago however, I was getting my car serviced and over heard a "spirited" sales "pep talk" taking place in their upstairs conference room, next to the customer waiting area. It sounded like an excerpt of Glengary Glen Ross. I believe this may have been under old management, but it wasn't cool.

I would absolutely, positively NOT recommend this dealership. We went in with our research done and a fair price on the table which we were willing to negotiate a bit on. We were made to feel like we were not even close, and it became apparent they felt took us for rubes after we consistently presented the evidence that they should be offering us something better. The salesperson, while outwardly nice, became increasingly smarmy by promising positive updates but having none when we'd call him back. We would have been happy to give him the business had he been even close to a fair price and a fair amount given for our trade-in, but they wanted to charge more than we knew the car had been selling in the area in the past couple months. As we neared the end of the month, he would call with promises of better deals only to throw the bait&switch when we spoke in person. Thank goodness a co-worker referred us to an salesperson at Cityside Subaru in Belmont, where we had a much better experience. Subaru HQ should be made aware of the MetroWest dealership in Natick, as they are an insult even to car dealerships!

Specifically brought my 2008 Subaru Forester in for service because the check engine light came on with flashing cruise light. Also cruise control was not working on October 27th. Had to leave my car there. Was told that it was the oxygen sensor which needed to be replaced as well as two belts and one marker light. I also opted to have them replace my rear wiper. Service rep Chris said it would cost me around $500. The final bill came to $532.17. No sooner than I left the dealership then the both lights came back on again! I called and was told that I had to bring the car back on Today (October 29th)Left car today and was told later by Sean that the problem was fixed. No charge. When I asked what was wrong I was told by Sean that there was a recall on the car. When I got there I asked Sean about the charge for the replacement oxygen sensor. He became nervous shifting his feet and not making eye contact. I then asked why they didnt check for any recalls or other bulletins which may have accounted for the error. Again no real response. He left and another man (unidentified) who was sitting in a small office began speaking to me. He was more interested telling me that my address change was not reported and that was why I didnt get the recall notice. Even so this does not explain why the Service Dept did not check for any recall notices which may have been connected with the problem. I left there feeling ripped off and contacted Subaru America and was told by the Rep that they should have checked for the recall notice. I also checked for other complaints and found a number of them. Had I known before I would not have gone to this Dealership.

I had decided to buy a Subaru and this dealer is the closest to my home so it was our first stop. They had a slam dunk opportunity to sell me a car but they just couldn't get beyond classic car sales crap like pulling out bullshit invoices and telling me what a great deal I was getting and that they were only making $200...you know, stereotypical bullshit! Final straw was that they couldn't even deliver car on day I wanted because manager doesn't work on Thursdays! Only bright spot was manager VJ who seemed nice and tried to save sale....no dice. I went to Patrick Subaru in Shrewsbury which is 20 miles away and had an awesome experience. Ask for Bob LaCrossee, awesome guy!Good luck,Wayne

My contact with the dealership started through email with Jake, and from there until I first walked in and was assisted by Marc, things were fine. I came in to test drive an Impreza but had a limited amount of time and had to leave right after the test drive. I explained to Marc that even though I was leaving, I was still very interested and wanted to come back and drive a Legacy because the Impreza might be too small for me. From there, the atmosphere changed. Marc went from friendly to seemingly somewhat upset. I made sure to email as soon as I was able to show my interest, set up a test drive for the Legacy and ask about inventory of the specific Impreza model that I would consider and the pricing for it. I got an email back from Marc with a vague answer saying inventory is subject to change. Pricing is subject to change. I thought that was odd. A series of similarly odd events followed and for the sake of being brief I won't go into them but I ended up emailing the dealership saying that, due to what has transpired, I was not going to need their services and will be going to another dealership. With that Jake emailed me 3 times, saying that they did everything they could to get my business but the mistake was on my end with having email issues! I asked him to PLEASE stop emailing but here I have a fresh email with his obnoxious response sitting in my inbox.

I stopped by Metrowest Subaru to check out a few cars. I found they had a very small inventory, which was surprising. The salesperson I worked with was fast and efficient, but not that friendly. I felt like he had made up his mind that I wasn't going to buy and was trying to get me out of there. On the other hand, I did feel like he was professional and he did show me a lot of the features. Finally, I found their pricing to be on the high side. I definitely found better pricing elsewhere.

I'm shocked at reviews I'm reading below about this dealership I had a great time buying a car there. I live in Medford Ma. and had been looking for a Pre-Owned WRX Wagon for my fiance and our dogs. A friend suggested MetroWest because they had the most extensive Pre-Owned Certified Inventory in all of Mass if not NE. So I wondered over and slide into the lot trying to be descret within a few minutes a guy came over and said hello and asked what brought me by that day. I explained my goals he said no problem let's make this real easy for you. We went inside and he completely reviewed the Certification Program and why it's a great way to buy a pre-owned vehicle. Even another Salesman that had nothing to do with us offered to get me a coffee and snack (that was pretty cool)Within minutes my Sales man Andy said I have three cars to show you that match your criteria (one I was already a fan of based on seeing it on there website metrowestsubaru.com)So I primarily showed interest in that car, test drove and fell in love with my soon to be WRX. Their price was already Market low based on research and adding in the Certification and they did a few extra things I requested I was completing paperwork within an hour and driving my vehicle home with a sticker registered in a total of maybe three hours (not to shabby for a car dealer). The General Manager Mike Petrick even got my dog some water and biscuit's and they had no problem having her sit by the desk. I guess I just understand in the world things aren't always perfect, but if the people trying to help me are doing just that, I couldn't be happier. I'm referring everyone I know to them in the future (they will provide a financial benefit to me for doing so)but I would do it first to know my friends and family have a good experience. Kudo's to MetroWest Subaru!!!

I purchased a 2010 Forester XT on 16 April 2010. I was told it had lumbar support, which was the deciding factor for the XT vs the Limited XT. I negotiated a Subaru single bike roof rack after being assured it would fit while using a Thule Luggage Carrier - it does not.I was promised the round aero-cross rails and was given the cheaper flat set. I asked for a comp inspection sticker as part ofthe price negotiations- they tried to sneak in the $29.00 at closing... and last - the salesmen told me I could run regular gas rather than High-Test with the Turbo, and that the computer would compensate for it ( I can, IF I want to destroy the engine.) Be very careful with these guys, they are very friendly until they have your check. It is really kind of sad, If they had told me it didn't have the lumbar support, I would of purchased the more expensive model.By the way I love the Forester, and the way it handles, however I have no use for this dealer- and do not appreciate having the sales-manager call me a liar.We also have a 2009 Outback 2.5 Limited- A Wonderful wagon!Philip.Anastasiaatgmail.comFeel free to email me if you have any questions.

I stopped by to take a look at some subarus for my girlfriend. We were in a toss up between the outback and the outback sport. Our test drive was good. Our salesperson showed us a lot about the car and was very patient. I would highly encourage anyone going there to ask for him. His name is andy. After our drive we decided to go with the outback sport. We went in to talk price after and it broke down from there. They refused to give me ANY ballpark payment numbers without running our credit. Even 70 off would have been ok, but they gave us nothing. Despite the usual repeated trips to the manager. I got fed the usual token of faith bs, and told him we would walk if he couldn't help. The sales manager refused to actually speak with us and had the audacity to make a bet with the salesman that we wouldn't be back. Damn right we wont when you try that while im in earshot.Ended up buying the car from cityside and having a great experience. Metrowest's reviews speak for themselves. AVOID!!!!!

I tried to buy a Forester under the "cash for clunkers" program. They had never heard of it but I explained it to them. I made several visits to the showroom and finally agreed on a price and put down a $500 deposit. Over the next several weeks, I made many phone calls and visits to see when the car would show up on the lot. Answers were evasive. Finally, after I got pissed, they cancelled my order. Very un-professional. They didn't even apologize.Another time, I needed a trailer hitch installed on my Legacy wagon. I called the service department and was told the price. When I arrived to have the work done, I was told the price was for the parts only and not the labor! I asked if that was how they adveritzed an oil change as I stormed out.

I had good luck with MetroWest Subaru. The first time, back in 2005 we closed a deal on a new Outback, only to be told a week later they couldn't get it. Metrowest transferred the deal to Cityside Subaru without issue, where the car was available. Cityside accepted the negotiated price from Metrowest and delivered the car. This was set up by Metrowest. I appreciated the fact they couldn't get me the car I wanted, but were willing (at no benefit to them) to transfer the deal to their competitor. Last week I went back to Metrowest and bought a 2010 Outback. This time they were able to get me the model I wanted VIA a trade with another dealer.I considered them fair and friendly. I've had service done over the past 4 years at MetroWest and have no complaints. btw Great car.

I was not sure I could afford a new car, so the first thing I said was, "I am looking in the $200-$250 range for a monthly payment." The salesman said, "Great, sounds like you want a Forrester." I was excited, I test drove the car, and the salesman continued to tell me how this would be a great price. After 45 minutes, he brought over quotes on the vehicle that ranged from $378-$425! Complete waste of my time. It is not cool to lead someone on like that, and then drop the money hammer. We immediately shook hands and ran for the exit.

After visiting a few Subaru dealers in search of a 2008 Forester, I settled (foolishly) upon MetroWest Subaru of Natick. Up until I actually had to get the car, things went relatively smoothly. However, after signing a deal on Tuesday, I didn't hear back from them about the car's readiness until the following week, and this was only after I initiated a series of calls. After a WEEK AND A HALF and countless phone calls during which I was told that it "wasn't (their) fault - the car's still in Rhode Island, I called once again (they never called me when they said they would) and Michael the manager told me that if I couldn't be patient I could just forget it and he'd sell the car to someone else. No apologies, no gracious concessions, no nothing. I feel like such a boob for being beholden to these incompetent and condescending "salespeople." As another blogger wrote, "If MetroWest's goal is to not sell cars, they're doing a really good job!" They should rename their dealership MetroWest Boobaru.
