I purchased a used 2013 Chevy Malibu from this dealership in April of 2016 and by September of 2016 the car was overheating and fans were blowing loudly even when the car was shut off. The Service Dept. wanted to charge me more than $300 for the repair even though I had purchased the best warranty available to me. I asked the Used Sales Manager, Zach Counts, if there was any way he would cover the cost of the repair so long as I was willing to pay the deductible on the warranty. Since we had only had the car for about 6 months I knew that this wasn't a problem we had created, and had to have been forming before we purchased the car. Even though Zach wasn't the Used Sales Manager at the time we purchased the vehicle, he understood our situation and was willing to help us! We paid our $100 deductible, and Zach took care of the rest! It's so important to have a willingness to work with your customers in situations like these and we are very grateful for the excellent customer service that was provided to us by Zach Counts, the Used Sales Manager at Midland Ford Lincoln.

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review. I give the benefit of the doubt that the person(s) were having a bad day, etc. However this situation is completely unacceptable. I waited a couple weeks to calm down and write this review based solely on facts and not let the immediate emotions into the situation.FACTS: 1) Set up a reserved test drive of Navigator with Janelle Joslin for June 27; 2) Inquired about having our 2013 Regal looked at for a trade value; 3) Arrived at dealership at time agreed upon; 4) Janelle said she was finishing up with another customer (just a few minutes) and to wait in lounge area; 5) After sitting for 20 minutes with NO updates from anyone, we went outside to find another salesperson; 6) No salesman would help since we made initial contact with Janelle; 7) After waiting an additional 10 minutes, Janelle finally came out with the keys to the Navigator; 8) Another couple drove in to dealership and started looking at the Navigator (arrived AFTER we were there for our RESERVED test drive); 9) Janelle and the other salesman went aside, and she gave the keys to the other couple; 10) While waiting, we test drove an Explorer (too small); 11) Upon return, we learned the Regal wasnt looked at yet and the Navigator was still out; 12) We were told to wait in the lounge area; 13) After about 10 minutes, the Navigator came back; 14) We were then told that the people might be interested and therefore we couldnt drive; 15) Since we were there we decided to wait for the trade value; 16) After another 40 min and the car not being touched, we went to get our keys and head home. I lost money by leaving work early to take a scheduled test drive in a vehicle that Janelle had the keys for, only to watch her hand the keys to someone else who arrived AFTER us (but while we were waiting on Janelle). Shouldnt the policy be that they tell the other couple that we get to take it out first since we inquired and had set up a test drive and arrived at the promised time? How is it our fault that Janelle was occupied with others? The lack of updates while we sat in the lounge is completely unacceptable. We have now decided to purchase a new vehicle, which will be over $60,000. We havent purchased yet, but will be doing so in the very near future. I know $60,000 isnt much to the dealership, but this will be an easy sale for someone. Earlier this week, I also received an email that was scripted to make it look like it came from Jim Wilson (owner). It had lines such as I would like to personally thank you but there was no personal about it. When they sent it to me, they forgot to remove the salesman email signature, so after the Jim Wilson signature, you scroll down a few lines and you see Janelles signature. Just lack of paying attention to detail. Never an apology for wasting our time-just a comment when we finally went to get our keys they were light manned (even though they assured me that they would look at the Regal).). Jim Wilson and the entire Midland Ford Team should be embarrassed about this experience. With the positive reviews that Midland Ford has received, I hope this is an isolated event. Maybe it is more of a reflection on the salesperson than the dealership (I have seen other negative reviews specifically referencing Janelle). Note: the other couple bought the Navigator that was supposed to be held for us. Since Midland Ford made the sale, I am sure they dont care about the tactics involved. . Janelle KNEW we were specifically looking at the Navigator and wanted a trade evaluation. She KNEW the exact time we set up and KNEW we arrived as stated. She KNEW the Explorer was not what we wanted and were only taking it out while they were supposed to review the Regal and while we waited for the Navigator to get back. These are the FACTS. Before we return to Midland Ford, I need assurances from MANAGEMENT that this will NEVER happen again.

My wife and I were returning customers to Midland Ford. I was looking for a 4x4 pick up. Unscheduled an appointment with Janelle to look at a diesel with a 2007 gasser as a back up. She told me, after the test drive, that the finance company bwanted five thousand more to make the deal. I said no and then asked to look at the 2007. Janelle came out and said that it was sold but still on the web site. She steered me to a 2004, bright yellow F150.It was awful but it had only 64,000 miles on it. I test drove it and agreed to the purchase. Janelle told me tongo home and wait for the approval. I waited most of the next day and for the call. She told me there was food Ness and bad news. The good news was that I got approved, but the bad news was they were holding the truck for some one coming from out of town. I told them that I was backing out of the deal. Janelle could not understand why. I went to Feeny Dodge who wrote me for 2012 beautiful truck. I went back to Midland Ford to get the title to my trade in. Zack tries to have me leave without it. He said to have Feeny apply for a lost title. I was furious and refused. About an hour later, the sales manager gave me back my title and apologized for handling this so badly. Up to this point ever one else lied, but not him. I told them about the Dodge that I was buying and left. The next day Janelle called me and said that they had got me approved on the 2007 that was supposed to be sold.suddenly it was back. I passed on the deal and took my Dodge deal. Glad I did. I will never go back to Midland Ford again.

We had been long-time customers and purchased 4 vehicles through this dealership. Bought a used F-150 pickup from them along with several new/used Lincolns and a new Ford Explorer. With the purchase of the F-150 (low mileage) we purchased their 'premium' extended warranty. Don't waste your money. Our transmission went out at less than 65000 miles and they tried to charge us more than 3X what any other repair service in town charged. Told them we thought it was still under warranty, but told no, so when we told them we were taking it to another repair shop, they told us we owed them just under $100. We will not buy another vehicle there EVER!

Bought a used F-150 with their 'premium' extended warranty. Not worth it! Our salesman, Phillip Stauffer was amazing. We had called ahead about looking at a Flex. He had the car all ready for us to take on a test drive. He listened to what I was looking for. He went to great lengths to get all the information I needed to make my choice. A lot of salesman will just tell you what you want to hear and I did not feel that about Phillip. He was honest and if he didn't know an answer he went and got the correct answer for me. He made my experience very simple and just fantastic. Your finance person, Ron Mahler did a great job getting my loan set up and explaining everything. Soon after I asked about that they contacted me to see if there were any more vehicles on their lot I might be interested in. Janelle helped me find other vehicles on the lot that met my criteria. I took my 2006 Explorer to the Midland Ford Dealership at its new location on July 3 for routine maintenance (oil change, etc.), which is now done through Quick Lane (no appointments taken). There was a fairly long wait, so I went back later in the day when there was zero wait -- not unexpected for the day before a holiday. The new facility is very nice, except the entrance/exit doors are heavy and a challenge for us older people to manage. I had hoped this would change with the new facility. The parking lot is a huge improvement over the previous location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The waiting room at Quick Lane has no TV -- thank you, thank you -- so I can read without having to listen to annoying TV programs.

Love the 2013 certified Ford Explorer and working with both John O'Keefe & Ron Mahlar was a pleasure. They both have great attitudes and seem like they had our best interest in mind. Only issue was when we took the vehicle home we noticed a hole in the rear bumper, but did not go back to report it because we weren't sure if anything could be done. Took vehicle in to be serviced as the result of receiving a recall letter regarding the 12-volt battery. That was updated within a reasonable amount of time. However, the dashboard information above the steering wheel (2013 C-Max) was changed and I wish someone had advised me about that. I apparently had no choice in the matter and the changes took me a while to figure out. I do NOT always buy into the technology upgrades that are available. If the upgrades are going to happen at least advise the customer as to what she/he might expect.

We were extremely pleased with our salesman, Phil Stauffer. He was brand new to his job, we were his first sale! Anything he didn't know, he was more than eager to find an answer for us! He had the support of Mark, who showed us all th features of our new vehicle. They spent over 2 hours going over everything and even followed us home to program our new car to the garage opener! The young man who worked itch us for all the paper work was spectacular! We had a Mercury Grand Marquis 1999 so after 16 years, a lot has changed in cars and what they offer! quick and easy inspection of steering shaft. Cant recommend ford to anyone until I find out just how dependable my f150 is. So far owning it 2 months and bringing it in already isn't a good start. My 2010 gmc sierra started off with many recalls and repairs. So many I was offered another year bumper to bumper warranty. Give it a couple years after owning the f150 and I can give better feedback.

We wanted an Explorer with a moon roof, FWD, and EcoBoost. There were none to be found in Michigan. Our sales person was awesome and found one in New Jersey. Loaner was available and reasonably clean -- windshield was very dirty. One use of windshiled washers and I got an "almost out of washer fluid" warning. I drove the car just under 15 miles as I recall and it took well-over a gallon of gas to refuel; suspect tank was not full on pick up. Wheel mars continue to be an issue, as several new mars were noted at pickup. I received this evaluation well-ahead of when I was notified by dealer that car was ready.

I began having a problem with my vehicle missing under certain conditions on the way down South, a 3000 mile round trip. I called Mike in the service department and he tried to help me on the phone by giving me suggestions on what it could be. While I was down South, it ran pretty well but the problem reoccurred on the way back to Midland. After getting home on a Saturday afternoon, Mike got me in first thing on Monday morning, had a mechanic ride with me, and had the problem identified, parts ordered, and repairs done by Tuesday afternoon. I was very please, as I have always been, with the responsiveness, attitude, attention, and capabilities of the service department. My vehicles are never serviced anywhere else.

Everything went well. I have one thing I am concerned about. I bought my vehicle last June. It was a certified used car. When they were installing the new tires yesterday they found that when the last tires were installed, one of the tire pressure monitors was incorrect. I am under the impression that with a certified used vehicle, I am covered bumper to bumper for 12 months or 12,000 miles. I paid $63.04 for a new sensor kit. Is this not covered? Item 152 in the 172 point checklist is for tire pressure monitoring system. I know the tires would have to be removed to discover this problem so you probably not check this on a routine basis. The service man told me that a wire was substituted for a tire pressure monitor on one of the wheels. Just wondering since it wasn't done since I have owned the vehicle. Thanks.

My husband fell and broke his leg recently so we are down to one car. My dealership told me during a recent oil change and 50 point checkup that I needed new brake pads on the rear tires. I was trying to determine how I was going to fit all this in my schedule and still get the husband to rehab. My dealership suggested I come in late afternoon as they worked until 7:00 pm that evening. I could leave the car overnight and it would be ready in the morning. They drove me home and offered to pick me up in the morning. They called me at 8:00 am the next morning. My neighbor dropped me off and I was ready for the day! This is what I consider great customer service. During the brake job, they discovered I had a loose tie rod so they replaced that also. Also they washed the car which was really needed. I drive a Lincoln mkx and I love it. I have all my work done at midland ford and can't wait to see the new building that is under construction.

I purchased to 2014 F-150. The salesman Zach and manager Wes both did an awesome job. Once I decided what car I wanted, I had them locate it. They tried for a couple days to locate the truck. The entire time, they kept me in the look through email. Once they found it, the signing process was really easy. The finance guy Charlie was very knowledgeable of what he was doing. He was able to get me in and on my way without wasting my time. Once the papers were signed, Zach took me into the truck and gave me a quick tutorial on using sync and playing Pandora through my phone on the radio. He really didn't need to do that after the sale but he did and that really makes a difference to me. The entire process was top notch and I would defiantly suggest Midland Ford to others. The F-150 that I purchased was not my first lease but it was my first new car lease through Ford. The truck has exceeded my expectations.

My vehicle stalled while driving, I called the dealership, they dispatched a tow tuck which arrived within 20 minutes. vehicle towed into dealer service dept. they looked it over right away, gave me a ride home (approx. 3:30 PM) they called me by 4:45 and advised me of the problem, gave me an estimate of cost as well as completion time. Vehicle was ready the following day by 10:00 am, cost was below estimate. Excellent experience.

We bought a 2014 Ford Edge with a 3.5 L, V6 engine. It is a beautiful Black Tuxedo Metallic. They had 1 Edge available with a sport package. It was black metallic also, but I didn't care for the black grill, wheels and I really didn't like the seats. We had a mis-communication with our salesperson, Mark, and we told him to "hang on to this one." He had it prepped and ready when we came in the next day, but I could not commit to it. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, so the sales manager, Wes, found one on-line that was downstate. It fit the bill and it appeared on the Midland lot by the next day. Mark was so patient with me, especially when I thought it had cloth seats and I wanted leather! He assured me it had leather and we proceeded to buy it. From start to finish, everyone at Midland Ford did everything possible to make sure I was happy with my decision. I love my new Edge and would recommend this dealership to all my friends!

Customer service is NOT a priority with this dealership. Their service department is horrible. I brought my car in at least 6 times for the same problem and they charged myself and my warranty company each time, when the problem was never fixed in the first place. I was upset because they would not listen to me when I would tell them what is wrong with my car. They would have my car for days and days and still my vehicle would not be fixed. As far as I am concerned they didn't repair the problem intentionally so they could keep charging my warranty company as well as charge me for the deductible. I complained to many people including management and I never received a phone call from the upper management to at least say sorry for the inconvenience, let alone let me give you your deductible back because we couldn't fix the problem the first 6 times. I would never recommend Midland Ford to anyone, very rude, took my deductible when it wasn't my fault they couldn't fix the problem the first time. You are definitely treated like a dime a dozen to them.

From finding the truck I was looking for on the Internet to pulling off the lot in my new Truck, Midland Ford was by far my best car buying experience ever. They were all very professional, treated me with respect, and I actually felt like they cared about me and not just my money. The Sales Manager (Jeremy) followed up to make sure the Internet department was answering all my questions and thanked me for my business after we signed all the paperwork. You can defiantly feel that it is a Family run business.. Would recommend anyone to give them a try..

I started shopping for a newer Ford Edge recently. I was VERY specific on what I wanted (ex: 2011 or 12, leather, nav, vista roof, less than 30K miles...). I also had a very specific price range I was willing to be in (it was reasonable given all the research I did, but not at the top end). I went to all the dealerships in the region, but no one had exactly what I wanted on the lot. Many people gave me cards and many people called me to convince me to buy something that didn't fit all my wants. I also had many who wanted me to buy above my price range, but only Frankie at Midland Ford actually got it done. Many of the dealers in the area told me to give them a deposit and they would go to auction and find me what I wanted, but that's not what I wanted. I want to see the vehicle, smell the vehicle (hate smokers cars), drive the vehicle before they saw ANY of my hard earned money. Frank didn't play this game, I told him what I wanted, and he told me he would find it...PERIOD! I told him I was patient, could buy today or in 3 months, so just find me what I want. He stayed in contact with me so I knew he was looking, in less than 2 weeks later, I got a call. He told me he found and purchased the perfect vehicle for me. It was a 2012 fully loaded Edge with less than 10K miles. This was a single owner, private lease return with no issues on Carfax. This was a vehicle that should have ben above my price range, but he told me he would honor my price range. He could have sold this car for thousands more than I paid, but he didn't, he contacted me. When I saw it, there were a few MINOR cosmetic issues. I told him they had to be fixed, and he fixed them quickly and didn't increase my price. I have never worked with a dealership/seller that wanted to please the customer so much. Even after the deal was done, I still heard from Frankie a few more times. He connected me with a good accessory guy, he ordered a part for me...he went above and beyond. Frankie has earned a comeback customer, and I will tell anyone know in the market to give him a chance.

From initial on-line information shopping, to on-the-phone contacts actually checking on-hand inventory, to in-person meeting at the dealership to inspect and, finally, to buy the car of my dreams--every professional I dealt with at Midland was wonderful--kind, honest, considerate, honest, trustworthy, decent, honest and sincere. Never once did I feel i was treated like "some dumb car buyer." Do you think that I over-mentioned, honest? Throughout the entire process every one at Midland looked me straight in the eyes. Today, that is WAY beyond the norm for a car-buying experience... at least based upon my visiting four other dealers. What a pleasure dealing with this group of professionals was--in fact, several staff members stayed past closing time to insure everything went smoothly! What a shame that I had to drive all that way from Columbus OH to find service like that! However, with the air conditioning running and the front seat air conditioned too, my MKZ hybrid averaged 38 miles per gallon on the return trip. I couldn't be happier! Last of all, the follow up by The Lincoln Motor Car Company has been exceptional as well--first class all the way. What a classy group of Americans & what a great way to insure my repeat business, in spite of the drive!

I have purchased many cars from Midland Ford over the years. They have always been great to deal with. They dont false advertise with things like $2000 push, pull, or drag gimicks. They seem to always "Do whats right" even if it benifits me and not them. I would like to personaly thank Jim Wilson. It is always a pleasure to visit. Very Family feeling place to do business.

First off we were shopping on the internet for a F-150. Called Midland Ford and was helped right away, told them we found a cheaper one at Lasco Ford 70 miles closer. They assured us that the reason for the higher price was the quality of the vehicle. Salesman told us they had a very good used car buyer that only baught real clean vehicle for thier lot. We we sceptical about that statment so we went to Lasco anyways. WOW how do they sell cars, it was dirty, and pretty scratched up, salesman at Lasco told us it has not been touched up yet. The test drive was not good either it road horrible and made all kinds of noise. We asked for a history report and they told us they didn't do them anymore. OK we went to Midland Ford, what a difference, they were all very professinal, and the truck was like brand new, it was like a breath of fresh air. This is how all dealers should opperate. when we asked for a history report Scott said no problem, he also ran one on the truck at Lasco (which had frame damage) Midland fords truck had no issues. We baught the truck and were in and out of the Finance office. got home and noticed there was no owners manual so we called Scott. He apoligized and said he would handle it. 5 days later we recieved a brand new one in the mail. Thank you Midland Ford. I will be back as well as send everyone I know to you. They should put together a crew to go around and teach other dealers how to treat customers.
