They checked everything with my car to ensure there were no issues. I went in for an oil change and they saw that my one tire was still losing air after I had it fixed elsewhere - they made sure to reseal it for me! they also topped off my windshield wiper fluid. It is these things that make me come back to Mike Barney Nissan.

I recently had my 2013 Nissan Juke serviced at Mike Barney Nissan. They completed a NYS inspection. During that time they also did there "complimentary multipoint inspection " which included checking the oil . They said everything looked great at that time . 300 car miles later I start hearing a noise in my engine so I immediately bring it back to Mike Barney . 3 days later they call and tell me the noise I'm hearing is the turbo in my engine malfunctioning and that the whole engine needs to be replaced and that it'll be 15 grand ! They also tell me that there is no oil registering on my dip stick and there are signs of sludge . My next question is how is that possible you guys just checked the oil a couple weeks ago . They tell me there not sure but the next step is that they have to take the whole engine apart and go in there with a camera while Nissan cooperate watches on to see if they will honor my warranty . I had to agree that if they don't honor my warranty I had to pay them 380 dollars for doing this . I bring them the oil change receipts I had and again question if you guys just checked the oil a couple weeks ago and it was good then there must be a major issue with my car . They then back track and say well maybe one of the guys in my service department didn't really do it . They then go on to say let's just move forward and do the camera inspection with Nissan to see if they'll approve the warranty . 2 days later they call me back and tell me that Nissan denied by warranty claim do to " owner neglect ". I immediately call Nissan cooperate. I asked them if Mike Barney told them that I had the vehicle inspected several weeks prior . They said no, I asked them if Mike Barney showed them the oil change receipts I had . They said no and said there evaluation is was final and there was nothing more that they could do . So now I'm stuck with a 4 yr old vehicle with 32,000 miles with a bad engine because Mike Barney failed to do there job. Do not take your car to Mike Barney . Don't buy from Mike Barney . Don't by a Nissan period . A week later I brought my car to west herr and the situation was rectified immediately . I tried complaining to the general manger of Mike Barney as well . He agreed to have a meeting with me . But then a few hours later emailed saying everything was my fault. I responded to him that I was at work and I thought they we were going to meet tomorrow. But he just kept sending harassing emails that it's my fault and that i needed to take my Facebook post down about the situation. So now I have the GM from Mike Barney stalking my face book . But people need to know how awful Mike Barney really is .

I'm just at a loss for words because my fiance bought his Nissan there within the past year. I wanted the same sales person because it would make the process easier. I'm just disappointed that he is no longer at this dealer because the person who I was high pressure trying to sell me the car that same day. I just wanted to test drive and do research but he was adamant. After that experience I went somewhere else where I could take my time and eventually purchased a new Altima.

we made an offer on a vehicle which we thought was very fair, and our salesman came back and stated "Mike Barney Nissan is not a charity case". He said that to us at least 4 times and we walked. We went to another dealer was treated as a paying customer, not a charity case and bought a vehicle. How dare a salesman talk to a cash customer like that. We are not a charity case with cash!

Joe provided excellent customer service throughout the whole process of leasing my new car and returning my old one. He explained everything very well, wasn't pushy at all and answered all my questions with a thorough knowledge of the product. The lease was nearing an end on my wife's Nissan and Nissan was offering their "Pull Ahead Program" through the end of the month. I knew we were interested in either an Altima or another Rogue, so I had done a lot of research and showed up at Frank's desk with the invoice numbers for two cars. I told him that it will depend on the final price which one we go with, but we wanted to drive the Altima. Frank ran both numbers and we were out the door with a new Rogue by lunch time. Little negotiating, no trying to upsale anything we didn't want, just what I wanted. Frank did a great job and I'll definitely send folks his way.Thanks,Bill

It is often a hassle to shop and buy vehicles - with the various "deals" many dealerships offer. My expereince with MB Nissan and Chris Kivi was great. Idid most of my shipping on tne internet. I requested info on a15 Rogue. Chris emailed me but I was not ready. By Sept I was ready and Chris and Stephanie were very helpful. My brother did the test drive.I was sold on all the changes made in 7 yrs. Chris did all the paper work. Cris was a great salesman to work with. Chris and Stephanie made my experience fantastic. I contacted them in July and they instructed me to wait a month and the lease deals will be better. A month later I received a call from Stephanie informing me of their lease buyback program. We worked out a deal over the phone and email saying me time and aggravation. I purchased a 2013 vehicle from salesperson. The customer experience buying the vehicle was great. Less than a month later I had issues with the car. I called and brought it in a couple times and they said they didn't see any issues. I ended up going to another dealership to get it checked out and they knew immediately I had to get my fuel pump replaced Bottom line, they will be nice to get you to buy the car but then customer service goes down hill.

Originally I was just shopping for a new car. After meeting with Joe Grimaldi and explaining what I was interested in the actually buying experience began. Joe is a no pressure kind of salesperson and made my visit to Mike Barney Nissan an enjoyable one. Questions were asked and answered, inventory was shown and features of the Rogue were demonstrated/explained. Joe made this whole experience and enjoyable one. I have been using Mike Barney Nissanfor my repairs to my Sentra. They have always been honest, fair, and explained things well to me. So when I wanted to lease again, I chose this same dealer. My service tech recommended Joe Grimaldi and I was not dissapointed! The test drive was good and I got my new Versa Note for the cost I wanted per month! Mark was recommended to me from a friend who has bought many cars from him. I am going through a huge life change.. Divorce .. Single parent and my very reliable subaru blew a head gasket . My lease was up, so I went to Mike Barney to lease my FOURTH car from them and the experience was TERRIBLE!!! They've been harassing me for weeks to come in and get a new vehicle. They even made me make an appointment and when I arrived they acted like they had no clue what I was talking about, like I was crazy to have an appt! They were SO EXTREMELY RUDE and tried to get me to pay more than I was currently paying for a vehicle that cost less than what I already had. Thankfully I left and went to different Nissan dealer that was able to get me an AMAZING deal! My payments are $70 less than what I was quoted at Mike Barney AND they put in a remote car starter!!! I was even able to drive home the same day in my new car!! To say I'm disappointed is a huge understatement! My family and I have been buying cars from Mike Barney for years and we will never go there again!!

I bought two cars within 9 mos period at this dealership not only that I got screwed on my trade in. My salesman was ok but i honestly think he just wanna sell me a car. I paid over $19000 for a little car (cube) that is a year old and when I traded it in after 9 mos bec I needed a car with awd for the winter. When i looked at the receipt i found out they only gave about 10k for it. I was certain that i was told by my salesman that they gonna give me at least 12k for it. so I end paying so much money for my next car not only that I purchased two cars within 9 mos from this dealership I also brought a friend there and she also end up buying the same car that I have. Another thing, most car dealership i been to they'll give you discounts or rebates this dealership doesn't. I would never buy a car from this unfaithful dealership again.

Well, I do not know where to began, I have leased numerous of Altimas from Mark Saba through the years, how many, I don't know because I lost track. Mark Saba is truly a professional when he deals with me, there is no such word as "Rush" with Mark. He does take his time in explaining the lease agreement, my budget concerns, everything to make a smooth transaction. He is very meticulous going over the features of the new vehicle. Any questions or concerns about the vehicle after delivery, whether it's a month or a year, he is just a phone call away.

Tony did a great job of understanding exactly what I was looking for - namely the best deal available. I am not a "car guy" and did not have a set list of makes/models that I wanted/needed. I was just searching the internet, not really sure if I wanted to buy a new car yet. Joe Grimaldi emailed me just to introduce himself and to let him know if I had any questions to feel free to contact him. I told him I would let him know in a few weeks as I was going on vacation. I have to admit I never thought I would own/lease a Nissan. Been a long history of another make in my family. But...I love my Sentry. From the time I walked on the lot and was greeted by Erik I was very impressed. There was no pressure just honest conversation. Eric really listened and really worked extremely hard to get me the best deal possible. Picking up my vehicle was a breeze. Everything was ready from the car to the finance papers. Erik was genuinely excited for me. I used to work for a car dealership in WNY and know how the bones of the operation work and I was still impressed. To start, they had free soda and coffee. :-) This is my second purchase from MB. The first time was so low pressure that I thought my second time would have to be a disappointment. It was not. I went to another dealership to get a price on my trade in and to look at a used X. I then went to MB and discussed the used X they had. They were better on the price and the trade. So...I decided to buy a new one!!! They had a 2014 in my color and my trim style and I was able to get it that day. I felt extremely comfortable at the dealership. The "other" dealership I went to made me feel exactly like I was afraid I would feel...pressured to decide on the spot and like I was being schmoozed. At MB, I felt like I was by myself just browsing and there was NO pressure at all. I was contacted by Eric Johanssen regarding a "pull ahead" on my current lease. On the phone, I was told that my payment would not go up and I would need no money down on a comparable 2014 Nissan Rogue. The person who I brought with me, purchased an identical vehicle at the same time as I did, so he was also eligible for the "pull ahead" offer. I told Eric that we would need 2 cars, but he didn't seem interested. To any seasoned sales person, that would mean $, but he was not phased. After an hour or so of test driving the new car and him going back and forth to the Finance person, I was offered a 2014 Rogue, in a color that I did not want, my payment would go up $50.00 per month and I would need $2,000.00 down. We told him thanks, but NO thanks and that was when his personality changed. His E-Cigarette was sitting on his desk, so I am not sure if he was having a nicotine withdrawal or temper tantrum, but he was outright RUDE. He slammed the paper on his desk and basically told us to leave. I would Never go back to Mike Barney. I contacted a competitor and I was told that they receive a lot of Mike Barney business as this is their reputation for treating people.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP !!! horrendous customer service when I asked them to fix what they promised to fix I had to file a complaint with the BBB and also isn't it ironic that they can pick and choose which "ratings" they post because of their interpretation of "why" the rating was given - typical marketing ploy to increase their rating average. I was in the market to buy/lease a vehicle. Not only was I pushed into a lease agreement, I went in inquiring about an SUV and ended up being "sold" on a small car. When I notified this facility that I was not going to follow through and choose another facility, I was badgered and felt belittled. I dislike writing negative reviews but I feel strongly that this needs to be communicated to other possible customers. It was a stressful experience getting my down payment back and the sales employee was just down right rude.

The most important factors for me to choose them over other dealers were my great interaction with their sales representative, Joe Grimaldi and the highly competitive pricing on the vehicle. Joe was friendly and pleasant all through and seemed like someone I could trust and rely on for good after-sales service as well. He also worked closely with his manager to get me a price that I was satisfied with. In general, it was always pleasant to visit the dealership because of the wonderful ambience they maintain and the complimentary services offered to customers. I purchased a 2007 Murano from Mike Barney a few years back. I came in recently to trade in for something newer. I wanted a lease, but there were hurdles that prevented that on my end. They worked with me to see that my interests and expectations were met. I walked out with a finance deal in hand and picked up a 2011 Murano the following week. In both situations, the staff were accommodating, sensitive to my needs and desires, and they were not pushy at all. We have been using Mike Barney for servicing our son's older Nissan. The service department has been very good to us. so we felt very comfortable going in to lease a new vehicle. This was the first time that we have leased a vehicle from Mike Barney. This is the first Nissan that my wife or I have owned. We both have Toyota's. I still have my Tundra, her Camry went to my son. The staff at Mike Barney were; polite, knowledgeable and friendly. We felt no pressure to commit to anything. We were very pleased with the different options within the Nissan auto line. We were able to take our time to find the perfect vehicle for our family. We have had our new vehicle for about a week and have no complaints. They really are the best!!! From the receptionist on up. Very friendly and personable, knowledgeable. The extra distance for their great service is well worth it. We travelled from Rochester to Buffalo and we have a Nissan dealership down the road. My daughter will be moving to Denver and she's already planning on coming back when its time for a new car. The dealership looks good but that's about it. From the second I stepped foot on the lot I felt pressured. I simply went with the intent of only looking at a suv for my daughter. After the test drive the sales person was very instant on getting me inside. He then said the only way he could help was to work a deal, he then pressured me to buy that day. I declined and was promptly introduced to the manager who was no help and just wanted a sale. I walked out and simply wanted information and a test drive for my daughter; not the car salesman pitch.

This weekend I visited Mike Barney Nissan for comparison shopping purposes. Before I was even able to look at and drive the vehicle, I was being asked about how much I wanted to pay per month and other questions only relevant had I actually decided to buy. I made it clear up front that I would not be making a decision nor signing any paperwork that day. Deciding he knew better, the salesman made attempt after attempt to persuade to buy on the spot. I don't know how other consumers respond to hard-sell tactics, but by the time I left that showroom I wanted nothing more to do with that salesperson and will be taking my business and money elsewhere.

I had a wonderful service experience at Mike Barney Nissan recently and wanted to share it and say THANK YOU! I needed an inspection (It was very close to the end of the month and I needed it VERY quickly!) and an oil change. Tony, one of the service advisors, was very accommodating with my schedule and understood the urgency. When I brought my Sentra in, Craig Junior was efficient with the paperwork. I was in and out of the service waiting area in no time. I hardly had time to finish my coffee (which was fresh, by the way). I did finish the cookie though. I purchased my vehicle here and could certainly take it elsewhere for basic service like this, especially since I live nearly 30 miles away, but I wouldnt even consider that. I always have a good experience at Mike Barney Nissan. I highly recommend this dealership not only for sales, but for service too.

I was contacted to turn in my lease early. I had my car inspected to see what had to be fixed. When is howed the report to them, they could believe all the items that needed to be done and did not agree with the report. Joe Caldarelli (owner) cotacted Nissan and had the car reinspected. The result was they were able to work out a very good deal for me and I now have a new Sentra lease.

I leased my 2012 Sentra last year, but did not think to write a review at the time; however, I recently went in for service and another overwhelmingly positive experience prompted me to post this. The atmosphere of the dealership is both friendly and welcoming, and all of the sales and service staff that I dealt with were knowledgeable and professional. I dealt with both Adam and Mr. Caldarelli and they both treated me like family. I don't recall ever having such a positive experience at any dealership, and I will most certainly be leasing and servicing my vehicles at Mike Barney in the future.

We could not let this opportunity pass without our sincere, heartfelt THANKS!We purchased my 2007 Murano from another dealership. Since that time, every service experience has been an extremely frustrating exercise! You see, we have been a family of Fords for 40 years and have CONSISTENTLY experienced EXCELLENT service! It was never any other way from start to finish! The first time I had a need for service with my Murano, I never thought that customer service would be anything but excellent. Unfortunately, I found this was not the case. Each time was a similar frustrating experience. When I would call the service dept. on the phone and ask a question about a specific Murano problem I was experiencing, I was told We really couldnt say, you will have to just bring it in and drop it off. I was encouraged to choose a day that was acceptable for the dealership. Waiting for my vehicle to be diagnosed while experiencing the problem was not a realistic option. I began to wonder what the purpose of making an service appointment was. It didnt appear to be to accurately reproduce and properly diagnose the problem, 1st attempt and not 2nd and 3rd attempts. I have since tried 3 different Nissan dealerships hoping for that Familiar Fantastic Ford kind of service but to no avail. My extended warranty is about to expire and I knew I had to go back to a dealer and endure this miserable process. I called a few times to dialog and explain some of the things that where going on that needed attention and each time hung up feeling frustrated. I dreaded going back expecting little or no resolution of the problems, with a hefty fee to boot. The following week I was greeted by Dave Anderson at my local post office. Dave recognized me from when he was employed at another dealership that I had visited. After a brief talk he encouraged me to call Mike Barney, his place of work, saying he knew I wouldnt be disappointed. Last week I called Mike Barney and spoke with Tony. He actually talked to me intelligently about some possible solutions for my Murano and set a time for me to come in. He asked if I was going to wait or drop it off and told me what to expect....what a great refreshing surprise! That morning I had a conflict which made it necessary for me to delay my appointment time by 1 hour. It was so easy and efficient. The first gal who answered the phone was able to assist me. No transfer of calls, just simple, friendly and a no problem attitude! Friday morning, I arrived at your service dept. Tony personally walked through my car issues with me talking about different possible solutions. Again, it was clear he had a good working knowledge of Muranos and their history and was willing to spend the time needed in the problem solving process. One and a half hours later, in a very comfortable waiting area, Tony called me in to see my car. With him was the mechanic, Keith, who had worked on it. Tony went through each item on my work order, while Keith was there to answer any further questions I may have had. I was in awe! And to top it all off, while working on my car, Keith found a ball joint issue that needed to be taken care of that I was not even aware of. This gave me great comfort knowing that Keith not only did what was asked but went a step beyond. Thats the kind of work ethic I have been raised with and have grown to look for. Wow! This was beginning to have a familiar tone to it. Could this be my Familiar Fantastic Ford kind of service? Tony ordered my part and will call me to set up an appointment to come in for my warranty work to be completed. I already know it will take an hour and a half, which gives me the ability to plan my work day accordingly. I know this was a long letter, but it was important you know our history to fully appreciate our thanks. This was a huge deal to my husband and me. We both just want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU! This experience has redeemed our belief in a knowledge based, efficient, kind, professional, work ethic that seems to take a personal interest in their customers from start to finish. Well done team. Thank you!

Visiting Mike Barney Nissan was a great overall decision. I am very happy with my Maxima and the terms of my lease. This was my first experience leasing a vehicle without having my dad with me, and as a young female, I was initially very nervous about being taken advantage of. Unfortunately, this is what happened at another "HUGE" dealership. The salesman at the other dealership tried getting me to sign papers the same day on a terrible lease, (where I would be paying over $100 more per month on a Camry), even after I told him that I had no intention of signing that day. The only negative point to my Mike Barney Nissan experience was the number of sales people I dealt with through the process. I dealt with one sales person while walking through the lot and discussing models and features, then I was passed off to another sales person for the test drive and the next day when I called to discuss details of leasing, the second salesman was out sick so I dealt with the salesman whose desk he shared. All the sales people that I dealt with were all friendly and knowledgeable but I would have liked working with one person the whole way through. The third salesman was very helpful throughout the negotiation process and ultimately everyone was happy at the end.

I really appreciated the professional way I was treated at Mike Barney Nissan. When I started looking for a smaller SUV, I was greated by pushy obnoxious salesman. I walked out of dealerships because I didn't like the stress they put on me. Then a friend referred me to Joe Caldarelli Nissan. He was so nice and friendly and he made me feel comfortable. I came unexpectedly just to take a peek at the Murano's. Joe had a commitment so he had to leave and he referred me to Brian Smith. Joe apologized that he had to leave but he told me Brian and his staff will take good care of me. He was right. We test drove cars and he gave me their final number. No going back and forth nonsense with the numbers. I didn't feel any pressure to buy. They wanted me to take the car home that night and I did. I loved it, but I got cold feet! This was very scary for me being a divorced woman, buying a car for the very first time on my own. The next day I told him I didn't want it and I want to keep my Lincoln Navigator. Brian Smith was very nice and again no pressure. He told me to bring the car in and "let's talk". We test drove another Nissan Murano with all the bells and whistles which we're similar to my Navigator, that I loved. Well now I love my new Murano! I got a great car for a great price. No regrets! Thanks to Brian! He put me at ease and he never pressured me. I will definitely refer Mike Barney Nissan, Brian and staff to future buyers. Sincerely, Bev Galasso

After i saw the car i wanted he was quick to give me good pricing and willing to make any sale. My daughter totaled her Hyundai Tucson and decided on a Nissan Rogue. We went to Mike Barney to look around...she found a used 2009 Rogue she liked. James Hartz was our sales guy and was very helpful and accommodating. We quickly agreed on a price and arranged financing with Tracy. My husband commented that this was the best buying experience he has ever had in purchasing a vehicle. This is the 7th vehicle we have purchased in the last 5 years. My daughter picked up the vehicle and drove it home...she went out to the vehicle about 30 min after arriving home and the vehicle would not start. It was approx 9:30PM when this occurred, she called Mike Barney immediately, they send JR out to try to start the vehicle...he couldn't get it going. He took the keys, offered to take her back to the dealership for a loaner to use and told her someone would be out in the morning to try to start the vehicle. They were there bright & early, got the Rogue started, drove it to Mike Barney and discovered a blown fuse...repaired it and had it back at her house in no time.This is the true meaning of customer service...they did everything they could to make this inconvenience as painless as possible. Steve worked hard to get me the car and the options I wanted. The finance team did a very good job for me as well getting me the rate I wanted. I also have purchased two accessories for my car which went very smoothly. About two weeks after I purchased the car I noticed I was losing pressure in my rear back right tire. I took it to them thinking it was a defect in the stem, but in fact I had a nail in my tire. They fixed it for free for me. This is the fourth vehicle I have purchased from Mike Barney.

After visiting a number of dealers and getting kind of discouraged about the car-buying process, my visit to Mike Barney changed everything. Everyone says they want to earn your business, but these guys actually did it. They came up with a very reasonable price for my 2012 Frontier in a short amount of time. Even though I'm a recent college grad with minimal credit history, they worked hard to get me approved at a great rate. Al Taylor was great to work with, and I would absolutely recommend him, and Mike Barney, to anyone.

Frank was very polite and professional. He answered all of our questions and assisted us in determining the best financing to get the biggest rebates. The only thing I will say is when we picked up our car that we had an appointment and it took 1 1/2 hrs before we actually got to the paperwork. I know Frank got busy but others were standing around not busy and could of step up a little sooner to assist us. Otherwise Frank was able to go over all the features of the car and again he did a great job. I love my car. Thank you

I strolled into Mike Barney one evening on a whim after another dealer sold a vehicle I was due to purchase right out from under me (literally).I walked in the door and stood there for a moment obviously not knowing my way around and was intercepted by Frank Damon. Two days later I rolled out of there with a great vehicle with an equally great price. I haven't purchased a new car in many years and the experience I had at the previously unnamed dealership created a very distrustful, unhappy, and cynical buyer. At least that's who met Frank that evening. The guy who left was not him. One thing is certain; any company IS the person who you deal with first and Frank set the stage. This group of people created the most pleasurable buying experience I've ever had in my life with regard to ANY product. Where I work we refer to this as a "WOW" moment and in this day and age there aren't many. I will continue to do business with this group of individuals for many years to come and will not stop offering them up as the ONLY place to buy a vehicle!

This is the second time that we purchased a Nissan Altima from Mike Barney Nissan. We went back because we loved our first Altima and also remembered a great buying experience five years earlier. My sales rep was very friendly, courteous and respectful of what I was interested in as well as my time. As it happened, she had called the day before I had a service appointment for my 2010 Rogue to let me know about an early lease opt-out promotion from Nissan. So, I stopped in to see her while my car was being serviced and, since I was in a rush, probably spent not much more than 20 minutes discussing my needs and even checking out a new Rogue on the lot that she thought I might like. The one she showed me had all my requirements plus a few extras. She got back to me the next day with some figures and several options. I ended up leasing my third Rogue from Mike Barney. Did I get a great Deal? I'm one of those people who hates the process of buying a new car because I don't feel very savy, but I was pleased and think it was a fair deal. Oh, Mike Barney did a really classy thing, too. They picked up the tab for the servicing that day, even though I had not yet committed to buying a new car.

I saw a car on the lot that got my interest. Looked at it on a few Sunday evenings, then decided it was worth visiting the dealer (my first time at this dealership). Found the atmosphere somewhat peaceful - not 10 guys running in all directions or 8 people wishing they had a customer to pounce on. At first I couldn't do the deal, but we worked and came up with a win-win number I could afford, at my pace. Bought the car. Service allowed me to look at some of the shop manuals; parts people were always helpful with my questions. After 10,000 mi & a few autocross races, no problems!

This is the 7th car I purchased from Mike Barney Nissan. Over the years, I have come to expect great customer service, quality of work, friendliness, experience and price. But this is not why I keep buying from Mike Barney. The reason I keep buying is because on Car #4 there was an issue with oil dripping from the engine. Mike Barney was quick to fix it but the sales rep sensed that I was a little worried that my brand new car had a problem like this. I am certain that Mike Barney Nissan took a loss when they exchanged the original car in for another brand new Murano. For this reason, I will never ever buy a car from anyone other than Mike Barney Nissan.

I have leased at least 7 cars from Mike Barney. Have NEVER had a problem. The #1 thing people want from a car and dealer...dependability. Mike Barney Nissan delivers on all counts. Their sales people are low pressure, regular people, and the pricing process is very transparent. Since leasing from Mike Barney the first time, I have always kept up with other dealers pricing, and even looked at other makes of cars, but I ALWAYS come back to Mike Barney. My current Rogue is very possibly the most enjoyable car I have ever driven, and I've owned them all from Sentra to Maxima to Pathfinder. The dealership is in a perfect location, and the service department is always on top of things. They know their stuff because Nissan is ALL THEY DO...they don't have to worry about servicing 10 different brands of car like some dealerships.The new waiting room is beautiful. If my wife kicks me out, I am moving in there.

This is the third new vehicle I have purchased and was by far the easiest and best experience of them all. I went to the sales room to look around and test drive a couple vehicles and ended up selecting a Frontier. Unfortunately they did not have the color/package options that I wanted on their lot. Ray assured me that the next day they would find the truck that I wanted (my initial visit extended beyond their closing time). By the next afternoon Ray called me back to say that they had found the truck I wanted and it was being delivered to the dealership. I recieved outstanding value for my trade in and was extremely pleased with the purchase process. The finance departemnt answered all of my questions and even walked me back to set up my 6 month service appointment. An A+++ experience overall.

We have purchased two used vehicles, and three new vehicles from Mike Barney. We've been satified with the sales staff and customer service all along, but this last transaction to purchase our Sentra was the best experience we have had. Ray went out of his way to take care of us and make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. He arranged for the installation of my remote starter and provided us a loaner car at no cost for as long as I needed it. He also sent us a handwritten thank you note, which I felt was a lovely gesture. All other employees with whom we have been in contact have been very accommodating and friendly.

I have purchased 2 consecutive vehicles from them, and both times the buying experience was very "customer friendly". There was no pressure, and all talks about what I wanted and needed to do were sincere and up front. In short- there was no "game playing" as can be the case when buying a car. Chris was excellent in working with me to achieve my purchase goals. In fact- we had most of the details worked out over the phone before I even visited him in person each time to complete my purchases. I'm a little late on writing this review but I purchased a 2010 GTR from Chris back in March of 2011. I'm not going to talk about the car since I can fill up pages and pages on how awesome it is. The dealership experience was top notch. The deal was straight forward, done completely over the internet. I brought my 2 kids with me and Chris even shared some of his home made cookies with them! They were missing a key so they said they would send it to me in a few weeks. In my head I was thinking I would never hear from them again but low and behold a few weeks later a fedex package was waiting for me with my new key. I have purchased many cars and this is by far the best experience I ever had. Highly recommended.

If you want to import a car into Canada, Chris Kivi is your man. He knows exactly what has to be done and has a checklist all laid out. He makes the process as easy and straightforward as it can be. When you pick up the vehicle, he goes carefully through the checklist with you and makes sure you have all the necessary documents. As well as being knowledgeable, Chris is very easy and pleasant to deal with. The cost savings from buying in the US make the process very worthwhile.

I always buy new cars, so the price of the car itself is not usually very negotiable. I walked into the dealership looking for a car that is in very high demand and difficult to get, and that I thought I wouldn't be able to afford. My salesman, Chris, quickly proved me wrong on both counts. This dealership was a very refreshing change compared to all other experiences. I made a reasonable offer based on what I could afford, and they accepted. No haggling, no beating me up on my trade in, no selling me something I didn't want or need. The car took a couple of weeks longer than expected to arrive, but that wasn't the fault of the dealer. My salesman kept me updated and always reassured me the deal would not be affected. If this Juke lives up to the dealership that sold it, I'll be back to Mike Barney Nissan, no question.

I slammed my seatbelt in my door at work and it jammed so the door wouldn't close. AAA sent someone that couldn't fix it, and then they radioed for a tow. I called Service during the two hours I wasted with AAA and they were helpful and assured me that they would fix it right away. Right away was more like in minutes! Once I got the car to the dealer, there was no line in service and Gary was very helpful and fixed my car on the spot. No paperwork, No bill just amazing very professional customer service! Working in sales, I cannot work without my car and thanks to Mike Barney Nissan and Gary I was back to work right away! I was a walking commercial for the dealer the rest of the day as I was amazed at how fast my door was fixed. I had two hours waiting for AAA to stress about how much the repair would cost and how long I would be without my car...and I was so plesantly surprised! OUr next car will be a Mike Barney Nissan!

My wife and I visited this dealership recently to look at a 2011 Murano. I had looked at the Murano at other dealerships previously and wanted to compare to see if this dealership was willing to offer a better deal. Upon entering one of the first questions was what we wanted for our monthly payment. I said we wanted to discuss the total value of the car and negotiate that value rather than the payment. After mentioning I'd been to other dealerships he asked what they were selling for. I told him the amount I'd negotiated with them for and he said to go back and buy it from their dealership. I felt like they weren't even willing to negotiate on the price to get the sale, and frankly weren't interested in my business. If you want the best deal for your money you'll have better luck negotiating with other dealerships rather than this one.

They were quick to call me first thing in the morning. I told the mand the vehicle I was interested in and I wanted to test drive it. He said he would get me some more information and get back to me. It has now been 3 full days and I have not gotten any response on my cell phone or my home phone. It is not like the vehicle is anything special so I will look around. Very sad that I could not even get a call though. And they came highly recommended.

I had been trying to get the car I eventually purchased from Rochester dealers as I live there. I couldn't get the exact car or a reasonable price. I by chance contacted Mike Barney Nissan in Amherst, NY. I dealt with Chris Kivi. He found the car I wanted, gave me a good price. I will be picking up the car next week. It was a great sales experience--not the usual bull that you have to put up with from salespeople. So far, I would deal with them again and definitely with Chris Kivi. Everything I have asked him for, he is providing and promptly.

2008 Nissan Rogue we bought has had several problems and now they are costing us....The salesman was rude and answered personal calls while we were meeting with him. When I bought the used Rogue it had no fuel in it and I traded a car in with a full tank. They said they don't give gas way on used cars... What kind of policy is that....

I'm happy I leased a 2010 Nissan Sentra from Chris at the dealers internet department. I was very impressed with the process, knowledge, selection; and the monthly payment was much lower than I ever expected. Been there now for oil changes a few times and all is really good. My Sentra is Black and although it's hard to keep clean, probably the best color for a car, don't regret it.

I had the opportunity to work with Cris Kivi on multiple car purchases. I have bought numerous cars and have dealt with many salespeople but dealing with Chris was a great experience. Chris definitely creates a value added experience when purchasing a vehicle. There is 0 pressure with Chris and he goes above and beyond anyone I have ever worked with. I would recommmend working with Chris and recommend anyone I can to him because I trust him to take care of my network. He creates a very attractive deal everytime with 0 back in forth dealing. Mike Barney Nissan would be my first choice if you are in the market for their vehicle. They are upfront everytime and take the hassel out of purchasing vehicles...I was in and out with my first purchase within 2 hours total...My future purchases were even shorter because you tell them what you want and they make it happen ---Great buying experience from top to bottom

Mike Barney not only lousy jingle and also,lousy employees, WORST DEALER in WNY. I have never wanted to take my car to Mike Barneys at the first place because of my experience two years ago.I wanted to buy a 370z and the sales person, stopped me at the door and told me that he would bring me a brochure. He did not let me into the dealer.I guess he did not think I was serious because I have shorts and flip flops on. I ended up buying my car from Dorschell, in Rochester. The second bad experience was I had to drop my car at Mike Barneys because I had no other option.I dropped my car off, and the technician told me that he would call me. He never did, I ended up calling him. Left him messages, but technician never called me back, my car sat there for a week, I had to stop by in order to see what was going on. On top of it, they scratched my car and told me that is how they got it.I know for sure that there was no scratch on my car. I strongly recommend not to do any business with Mike Barneys. But like me if you don't have an option, and you have to drop your car off for service at Mike Barneys, make sure that you take pics before.I don't want anyone to go through the same thing.

My husband and I purchased a 2003 Ford Mustang from Mike Barney Nissan via Ebay. This was our first Ebay purchase of any kind so we were a little nervous. Chris Kivi is the gentleman who handles the Ebay sales at the dealership. He was pleasant and informative on all aspects of the purchase. The vehicle was extremely well represented in the add. We were very pleased when we actually saw the car. We live in Oregon, and this car was in Amherst, New York. Needless to say Chris Kivi, and Mike Barney Nissan has earned our trust!

I have now bought two cars from this dealership both Nissans. The second one I bought was the Rogue which I truly LOVE! When I bought my second car I went to Mike Barney last to see who would give me the best deal. I went to West Herr Nissan and Autoplace. West Herr wanted to get my business bad because it was much closer to where I live. Autoplace was a bunch of bull with very ignorant sales people because my car I was trading in said Mike Barney on the plate. No place could touch his price. They called me about 4 times a day after they knew I had an appointment at Mike Barney. I did not even tell Mike Barney what the other ones were offering me. This was going to be used only if needed and it was not. Not only did he give me the best price but he threw in the roadside assitance package for $72 and West Herr said that they couldn't do that because they don't have that relationship with Nissan yet. The service was terrific. I get fantastic gas mileage with my sentra I had first and my Rogue. When I hear anyone say that are buying a new car I send them his way all the time. I could not have asked for better service. By the way autoplace when they found out I was going with Mike Barney hung up on me.(great service skills). This is the Nissan dealer to go to!

Our family has bought many cars over the years, but never before have we gotten such a good deal with no stress working with the internet person there. We were told to come here by another family member who has purchased 5 Nissan's from Mike Barney Nissan, but did some research before then. We're glad we actually went in, and we can see why they keep going back. We love our Altima, it's such a very nice car!

This guy smiles, laughs, promises you everything and as soon as you turn your back, the knife comes at you. He says one thing to get your business and then does not follow through. On delivery, my car had scratch marks and this guy tells me I must have done it when pulling out and would not fix the scratches. Stay away from Mike Barney Nissan and Jeff Chism.DO NOT trust this guy.

I just can't believe I read reviews like I did. This is the best place to buy a car and get it serviced at. They guarantee the lowest price, they can get any car you want, and when it's time for service or parts, it's done right the first time... Nobody's perfect, but Mike Barney Nissan is the real deal, and the most honest and well established dealership in WNY. You deal with real people here, and if you want pomp and a corporate atmosphere, this probably isn't the place for you.

I Have received top notch treatment from this dealership in all dealingswith them.(Three cars purchased and service). Other Nissan dealers could not come close to matching on price. They go out of their way to help mewith service also. Do not bother going to any other Nissan dealer. Thisis the ONE.
