Recently, I had a great service experience at Mike Bass Ford. Specifically, Chastity in the Service Department went above and beyond with my recalled transmission, oil change and tire rotation. She even connected me with verbal and written information about a new vehicle we talked about casually. She is not in sales but went out of her way to get an answer to my question and literature for future use. Additionally, the service technician fixed all the recalls on my vehicle, the oil change and tire rotation in less time than originally quoted. I have several nearby Ford dealership choices for service AND purchasing a new vehicle (in December 2019) but this experience helped me decide I will be going to Mike Bass Ford. Thanks to Chastity and the Service Team! Updated March 22, 2021: My family has bought 4 cars in the last year from Mike Bass Ford. Clearly, we appreciate the excellent selection and staff. My wife recently purchased a 2005 Ford Torus from this company. After driving in the rain a few times we noticed the engine running extremely rough. We took the vehicle to our local (trusted) mechanic. We were surprised to here there was over $1,000 worth of repairs needed to make the vehicle safe.I attempted to contact the Manager of Used Cars to negotiate some type of remediation. Apparently he wasn't available and I left a message. No reply to my message. I tried again the next day, left another message. No Reply. I tried later the same day. Again no reply. The 3rd day I quarried their on-line Chat Operator. After explaining my concerns, she assured me some one would get back to me. Day 4; the salesperson that sold my wife the care emailed a one line phrase... "This is the first that I have heard". Still no reply from the Manager.Finally, on day 5, I received a call from Ken. The Manager of used cars. I attempted to explain the situation (which was made difficult by his constant interruption and denial of responsibility.) Bottom line, in his estimation, "the car was marked as is" covers all my complaints. And by the way, he mentioned, if I had brought the vehicle in for the repairs, he "might" have been able to help me.Like I had some way of knowing that the roader cap had multiple fractures and the plugs and wires were the originals from 2005! That the tie rod was totally shot and the rear tires had the belts protruding. Or that I would notice the hole in the muffler or the hole in the flex pipe that connects to the engine manifold. In my humble opinion, all of these potential hazards should have been caught in a safety check. And how does a vehicle with fouled plugs and multiple holes in the exhaust system pass the e-check? Mike Bass Ford claims it did.So, buyer forewarned, buyer beware. Mike Bass Ford doesn't play fare.

BOUGHT USED TRUCK FORD F 150 06 HAD SERVICE IN PRICE NEGOTIATING. TRUCK STAYED AT SERVICE GARAGE FOR ONE WEEK. BEFORE IT WAS STARTED NO RETURN CALLS. WAS TO BE SERVICED SERPITINE. BELT. AND SPARK PLUGS. AND CHECK FLUIDS OIL WAS NOT ADDED WHICH WAS LOW ASKED FOR OLD PLUGS AND WSS TOLD ACCIDENTLY THREW THEM OUT. WERE THEY EVEN CHANGED?????????????? IF YOU WANT BAD SERVICE I WOULD. Kevin, your service writer, went through and checked all the service bulletins for my car while it was in being serviced for a TCM issue that was under warranty. Found that here was also a warning for the DCT and ran it through a battery of tests to verify that it was not performing properly. He informed me of the issue, ordered the parts (they were 10 week backordered) and called me as soon as the parts arrived. I never had to follow up or double check on anything. He did a fantastic job.

Nightmare!!!!! I went to the dealership to inform them my title paperwork was in my co-signers name, my temp tag was expired,and they assured me it was ok. I got a ticket tonight for what Mike Bass told me was a non issue! All you will get is excuses that the title clerk is out and that everything will be ok. I love having my car serviced there. I mentioned that my brake pads were making noise so while they did my 40,000 mile check, the checked my brakes. I appreciate how they came out and explain what they needed to do and why. I didn't feel pressured to get it done that day but I had them repaired there. At my previous visit for a recall I was told it passed but I was having trouble ever since it was checked for the recall. At the time I was told at that initial time if the part failed in the future that I would have to pay for the failed part. I was very relieved, when I had to take it back for the recall part, when the gentleman came out to tell me that it was all taken care of (I did not have to pay for this recall like I was previously told).

If you are looking for a used car, you need to visit the sales staff at Mike Bass Ford. Regardless of your situation, they treat you with respect and work very hard to get you into a vehicle. I was on the verge of being without transportation. The car I had was 17 years old and something was going wrong nearly every month. I was having trouble saving for another car because I kept having to spend money on the old one to keep it running. I told them what I had to work with and they got me into a car that fit into my budget. I have had the car for a week now and am extremely happy with it.

My car couldn't have broken down at a worse time. Margie walked me through the process of applying for the Ford Service credit card, which was about FOUR MINUTES from the time she handed me the application! They found and fixed a new problem with my car, but of course, the problem that required the tow in did not act up in front of them...or since!! A couple of months later, I called in with another problem. That's when Terry taught me that the Quick Lane does WAY MORE than oil changes!! I never knew the extent of service that could be performed in the Quick Lane! As my car is over a decade old, this problem turned out to be more serious than I expected. Jordan got me in a loaner so I wouldn't miss another day of work, and lastly, THANK YOU, RON for fixing my car!! You saved my life...I'm sure of it!! I haven't felt so safe in my car in a very long time!!

Dave in used cars was my salesman. He was excellent to work with. To sum it up, everything I was promised was done and then some. I had lost faith in dealerships until I went to these guys. I couldn't believe my positive experience. Thank you Dave and all who had a part in getting my 2001 Ford Ranger. Your price you were willing to take was sensible and the experience was wonderful. All I can figure out is you know how to buy cars which then allows the customer to negotiate a great deal.. Plus you are no pressure. That is so nice. I have already recommended you to a friend. I was satisfied with mike bass service department I love my escape it's my 2 me one and in future I want another but I was upset because my heater was fixed under warranty and now broke again and to find out it could have been prevented if the first time all items that i had done this time it would not have broke again nor was I informed it could happen again when the first time I had it fixed but over all I'm satisfied with the service department this is my 3 rd care I bought at mike bass ford

I had new tires put on my 2002 Lexus ES 300. I'm glad Evan McFarland called back and asked why I am buying new tires because they have a lot of tread left. I said they all had flat spots from the previous owner letting it sit for a long time and were more than 7 years old. I love the ride now, just like a new car. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Tried tacking 500$ VIN etching onto car. Then failed to deliver on promise on oil changes. If you do make the poor decision of buying from this 1-star dealer get any promise in writing. They will not honor their word!!

Took my Ford Expedition in for a check engine light , engine is losing power and sputtering. A week later they say they got 4 codes but can't get it to repeat. They want you to pay for diagnostics just to have to bring it back . I will stay far away from this place, they don't return phone calls. If you buy a car from there take it somewhere else for service!

The experience we had with the lease of the 2013 Escape was good. When we took it in to be serviced, we chose to have the tires rotated every other oil change and the service dept. was always friendly, prompt and helpful. However, at the end of our lease the cost to purchase the Escape was too high and didn't feel as a good lease customer, the price was fair. And to lease a new Escape, a $60 dollar increase over the 2013 lease price, was out of our price range. Bill Wasem was our salesman and he was great to work with. We bought our Windstar van from him in 2000.

As a long time customer of Mike Bass Ford, my experiences with the service area have been good. However, your waiting area, where the coffee and vending machines are, needs a serious update!The coffee machine has been there for a long time, probably 20 years. Half the time it does not work, and when it does work...the coffee is terrible tasting! I've been to other dealerships (take my wife's car to Liberty Ford to get serviced), and they have free coffee there that really tastes like a good cup of coffee. When I get to Mike Bass, it's almost always an early appointment, and would really like to have a decent cup of coffee, and a more welcoming area to wait in. Not asking for free coffee....but something needs to be done to update the vending area. I've mentioned this in other surveys in the past, but nothing changes. I guess it's not important to you. Overall, really appreciate the service and sales departments at Mike Bass Ford, but this is one "perk" that you need to update. I've been to other dealerships, and yours is the worst (in the vending/coffee area) that I've run across.

I brought my Mazda 5 in because the check engine light was on. Also a headlight had burned out. The inspection found a problem with the suspension from a curb I had run over. The service was accomplished the day that I brought the car in. It was handled cheerfully and thoroughly. When I picked up the car later, I found that not only had the car been washed, but the interior (very full of crumbs from our grandchildren) had been cleaned as well. That is superior service.

Overall I think the body shop did a very good job. I was a tiny bit disappointed when I asked Angie when she called if all of the lights were working etc. When I got there to pick up my car, I went outside, tried all of the lights, the turn signal etc. One of the left front fender amber lights was not working. Brian took it in and had them fix/change it, so it didn't take long. It was raining the day I picked up the car, and basically the weather has not been great since then, but from what I can tell the paint matched up well and they did a good job. Love my Mustang and felt bad when we hit the deer. But now she looks real good again.

I went in for the Works plus windshield wiper blades. After checking my car it was discovered that the front brakes needed replacing and I needed a new battery. I had been made aware of the brakes needing replacement during a previous visit, but had forgotten about it. The manager at Quicklane discussed the needed repairs plus the cost and gave me some options. I decided to go ahead with the repairs at that time. On previous visits they discussed what was needed for the 100,000 mile check and suggested it be done in several visits rather than all at once. The last part of the 100,000 mile check was also done during this latest visit.I appreciate how they come out to discuss their findings along with the cost. This way I can make an informed decision. I am always treated with courtesy and respect.

You need to remove any word such as "fast" or "speedy" or "quick" from the word "lane". Other than that I was happy with the service and the prices you charged. You could upscale the waiting room a bit given how much time you wanted me to spend in there. Still, as long as your work holds up and your prices remain "honest" I'm a customer.

The time before this one a tech by the name of Evan, explained all that was done. This time the tech(didn't get hids name) hardly had time to explain anything. I guess he assumed that I understood everything. I like it when they explain! I can remember what I asked them to do so if they explain what was done and they miss an item or add an item, I can catch it. One more thing. The last time, with my wife's car, Evan reminded me of the special on wiper blades so I added that item. This time the with MY car, the tech did not remind me of the special and I actually needed wiper blades. When I got home and looked at my emails, there was a note from you saying that there was a special on...you guessed it, wiper Blades but they had to be purchased with the oil change. I have since gone to Walmart and bought my wiper blades. Sorry!

I was able to get the oil change within a half hour - excellent timing. My only concern with the Fast Lube is the employee turnover rate; seems like every time I come in for the 5K service there are new people there. Can't help but wonder if the skill sets are adequate with that much turnover.I don't like how the technician comes out to the waiting area to tell you about your car, especially when there is a problem; all the other customers can hear the discuss and it puts some pressure on the individual to make the "intelligent" decision.

The service we get at Mike Bass is very good. Our Family takes all four of our vehicles there for service. No complaints typically everything is well done. Only issue we have had is on a few occasions we are not sure if the tire pressure is correctly adjusted for the car or truck and I think it sometimes that can get overlooked. Very pleased overall.

I specifically asked to be contacted on my cell phone and the technician ignored that request and called my home and left a message. 3 hours later he called my cell but I really don't understand why he thought it would be more convenient to call my home number when I was very specific with my instructions. I was helped by a man in the service department who guided me through the problem I had with the uneven wear on my truck tires. He went the extra length and communicated the matter to the tire maker which in turn led to the purchase of new tires with the company that made the tires provided a prorated amount to defer the total cost.

My grandmother recently bought me a 2015 ford escape from Niel, who is awesome. My problem lies with the service dept.. I brought my car in to get the windshield fixed since it cracked at no fault of my own. At 17, I APPARENTLY was never to be given a rental- but I was. My car was NOT fixed the day it was scheduled-this appt had been made 2 months in advance. I was told my car would be done Oct. 5th, it was not. I left personal items in the car thinking it would be done that day when it was not I obviously needed them and went to pick my car up, upon calling to make sure I had a rental I was told A. There was no rentals available for me and B. I was not allowed to be given a rental! Absolute insanity, my name was never on the title to begin with since I am only 17 and my grandmother purchased the car for me. This little messup has interfered PROFUSELY with my personal life, I am a full time college student and a full time employee. I was not offered any form of apology or compensation for the horrible service. Needless to say I will NEVER reccomend mike bass to possible customers nor will I be a returning customer. How unprofessional. I work in customer service and know that if you cannot deal with customers, if there is a mistake on your part a formal apology needs to be made and some form of compensation should be offered. Ryan R in service is the only person I dealt with that was apologetic and made an effort to find out what was going on.

I really appreciate all the time and effort given cheerfully by my Bass Ford salesman, George Banaska. He set me up with multiple cars and trucks to experience, allowed me all the hassle-free time I needed to waffle about which one I really wanted, what color, what package... I put him through the mill! The cars and trucks are beautiful and well-kept! I think it might have been nice to have a basic comparison chart of the models and available packages. I was somewhat confused because I am not a car buff. A chart explaining the difference between an SE and Platinum, ect. pricing and how the models (Taurus, Focus, Fusion...F150) compare to each other all in one place would have simplified things. I LOVE my 2015 Taurus SE in Deep Impact Blue and so does everyone who sees it! Thanks George!

This place is a joke. First of all it is dirty and needs to be updated which I could easily forgive if they weren't so dishonest. They advertised a car on Autotrader for a price of $29,700. Over the phone I was told that my trade in would be worth $15,000 as long as the information given by me was correct. After driving the car, and starting a deal, not only did I find out that the actual price was well over 33,000, but my trade was only going to be worth 12000. When asking about the price I saw on Autotrader and the conversation we had had the day before I was told quote just because its on Autotrader doesn't make it true. Tony D is the worst car salesman on planet Earth. I ended up getting a great deal elsewhere without the lies and false advertising. Avoid like the plague!

So, I was on dealer number 5 for the week, on my hunt for a VW Jetta, as a second car to alleviate mileage on my lease vehicle. I called ahead and made sure it was still available. Paul, one of the salesman, stayed it was and he'd see me when I arrived.I pulled up and found the car warmed up, and washed off. I spoke with Paul for a minute, and he explained an easy test route for me to take, as I was outside my home turf. I got back, and was satisfied with the vehicle, but noticed some stone chips in the front bumper. We sat down, and I explained to Paul that I was on car shopping burn out. I told him I had all my own financing in line, and had my print outs for pricing guides. We talked price briefly, and I made my offer along with the need to have the bumper repainted. Paul ran the deal past the manager, and we were done. I returned the next week to get the bumper repainted and was given a loaner while the work was performed. The whole process was smooth, low stress, and friendly. After fighting and haggling with all the other dealers, I briefly had that "this was too easy, did I get ripped off?", feeling for a second, but all my edmunds pricing guides showed I got more than a fair price. I'll definetly return to look at new when my lease vehicle is up, and would recommend to family and friends to make the hour drive from my home in Akron.

This was my 2nd brand new car buying experience. Throughout the entire process I worked with Andrew who proved to be an invaluable asset to Mike Bass Ford. He demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to his position and me by walking through every step of the car buying procedure. I was originally sent over from the used car dealer lot and referred to another member of the Mike Bass staff. When I arrived that member was busy and Andrew immediately positively interacted with me. Andrew asked me, what he could do for me, and subsequently answered every question about 4x4 trucks in stock. My knowledge base on Ford trucks was minimal walking into the dealership and I felt like an expert by the time I left. Throughout the process Andrew demonstrated superior professionalism while being able to relate to my situation and me as a person. He never seemed pushy to sell me a vehicle, but made it clear through his demeanor and actions that he was invested in making me happy. This was displayed throughout the entire day by question and answer sessions, him allowing me to drive the truck to lunch, making a sell without the title of my previous vehicle in-hand, offering water and coffee throughout the day, staying until after closing to complete the sell, and allowing my dog into the building while it was cold and snowy. This was the best car buying experience, new and used, Ive ever been a part of and we have Andrew to thank for every bit of it. Thank you Andrew and a job well done!

I came here to purchase a new Focus, since they were having the 2014 clearance sale.Dealing with them has been a horrible experience, it has been over 20 days and they have yet to pay off the car I traded fully. I feel bad for whomever bought that car, which they did within a week of me trading it. I had to contact them about it, they didn't want to take care of their mistake and have yet to contact me again about it. I am so tried of this mess, I should have took others advice and went to Liberty Ford. My advice to anyone reading this, is to run away from this dealership as fast as you can. Purchasing from this dealer is something I will regret for the rest of my life.

If you are in the market for a car I highly recommend Paul Lawson at Mike Bass Ford. I can not say enough about how awesome my experience of buying a car off of Paul has been. I purchased my car about a year and a half ago from Paul L. And had a great experience! I just recently had a problem with my car and I took it to Mike Bass Ford on a Sunday afternoon... Which is the one day the service center is closed. There were two salesman there who helped me temporarily fix the problem so that I could bring it back in the morning to speak with Paul. Everyone knows how stressful car problems can be and Paul was very understanding and helped me as soon as I came in. He went above and beyond for me and I am really appreciative of how easy it was to get the problem resolved. I will be sure to tell everyone about my positive experience!

Visited this dealership on two occasions. Last Saturday (Aug 16, 2014) and last night (Aug 20, 2014). Walked around the lot, looked at trucks. Never saw a salesman. Was there last night as I was pretty convinced which truck I was interested in. Went into the showroom, and not one of the Mike Bass Ford people even acknowledged I was there. Yes, the two salesmen were with customers. But somehow simple hello, or I'll be with you as soon as I finish this up, or have a cup of coffee while you wait. I finally left after 30 minutes of being invisible. And to think I drove the 20-30 minutes from downtown Cleveland for this. Ironically enough, other dealerships I've visited....well, their sales people have almost professional stalking skills.

I called a few months ago about a used Fusion Hybrid that they had sitting on their lot. It had already been sitting there for at least a month. The first time I called, I asked the salesperson "Why is the car priced so high?" and mentioned that it was above Blue Book value ($1000+ over Blue Book value!) and there was nothing special about it (no additions, modifications, just the regular hybrid). The salesman said "Yep, that's the price." Never answered any questions, never asked me any questions, just overall seemed uninterested in even speaking to me. I decided to keep looking elsewhere but a month later, they still had the car so I emailed to see if they would be dropping the price. The person who responded to my email seemed very willing to help and said that he would do whatever he could to help - wrong! He lowered the price a few hundred dollars (so it was still well above Blue Book value) and said that was all they could do. I even had a lease that I was going to trade in but they didn't even want to take it in. Moral of the story, I went to PA and got a better car for a much lower price, and the hybrid that I was going to buy from Mike Bass.....it's still sitting there.

Wet to look at Michelin Tires for my CRV. After telling the young man at the Service Counter what tires I wanted, he stared at the Computer for two minutes and said he didn't have the tires and the sale was over that day. I went into Mike Bass looking to purchase my first car (just graduated college about a year ago). From the get go I was treated with nothing but respect. My age and lack of experience had no bearing on their effort or interest in helping me find the best car for me. I worked with Paul and I am glad I got paired up with him. I am from a family of used car buyers. I don't know if I've ever even been inside of a first owner vehicle. But due to the need for a car under warranty, I decided on buying new. I was pretty hesitant stepping onto a new car lot (having a loan in your name is a huge commitment when you usually put two thousand dollars of cash on the table and drive off free and clear). Luckily, though, I ended up at Mike Bass Ford. I did find myself perusing the used car lot nostalgically when I met Steve Cataldo. I explained to him my current vehicular needs and felt instantly a lot more at ease with this whole process. Steve made several suggestions, and I didn't feel that pressure that typically comes with being around a salesman. Eventually, I landed on a 2013 Ford Escape and have no regrets. I am a case manager and I rely on my car for my job. I drive very much to meet with clients and help them to places. I always wanted a larger car, but did not think this affordable gas wise. Turns out you can have your cake and eat it too! Great gas mileage... and really just an overall great experience. Steve truly did everything he could to make my new car (and the accompanying loan) completely affordable. I am converted! I will be buying all my cars henceforth from Steve.

Purchased a certified 2013 Edge from Brian Toth. Transaction was the easiest purchase of a car I have ever made. We started with emailing each other then texting to seal the deal. Being open to alternative method of buying this car got him the deal. We did have a service issue with the check engine light and Brian made every accommodation so as to not inconvenience me. It was finally fixed and I am a happy Edge owner coming from 2 RX330's that's saying a lot. I travel over 3000 miles per month and a reliable vehicle is very important to me. Having a salesperson stand behind his sale is all too uncommon in today's market. Brian subscribes to the same customer service standards as do I and I appreciate it. My next purchase will be with him!

We are totally happy with this car. I have bought three used cars from salesman Steve Cataldo. This time I wanted to buy a new car. Steve knows our lifestyle and suggested the Ford Escape. It was the best choice for us. The fuel economy has been great. We also like to take short trips and comfort was important to us and this fits the bill. We also have two granddaughters and needed room for things we didn't need before like car seats and a stroller. I like how easy it is to get them in and out of the car and the stroller just slides in the tailgate section with no problem. The pick up this car has is fantastic when you need it. I was out shopping for a car and stopped at Mike Bass Ford on a whim. I am in sales, so I was not looking forward to the "game" that is played when trying to purchase a vehicle. I recently purchased a high-quality used 2013 Ford focus from Paul at Mike Bass and cannot be any happier with the proccess and the final outcome! I went in thinking I wanted a specific car. They not only had the car I was looking for, they also had many other similar options that hey ould show me as well. The entire staff was knowledgeable of all the specs on the cars and they were honest about what I would be getting for my money with each of the cars I looked at. They were able to get the proccess going very smoothly when I decided on which car I wanted to purchase. They went through all of my options as the buyer and explained any of the paperwork details I didn't understand. Last December I had an accident and it ruined my car. You won't believe this but my dad just had a wreck 3 days before and ruined his truck too. We weren't hurt but we had no cars. Just wanted to share my great experience of buying a car at Mike Bass Ford. I knew I wanted a truck and when i went to the dealership I was greeted right away buy Brian Toth. He showed me a F150 FX4 Crew cab that they had recently got in. I like everything about the truck and knew it was the right fit. He set me right up with their in house finance guy who processed my loan and got the keys to the truck that day. Brian was very helpful and very knowledgable in the car buying process. At the end of September my husband and I went in to Mike Bass Ford and spoke with John Lawson about purchasing a car. John was very personable and worked through getting us financed. We have some credit issues, but that didn't stop John from doing what he had to do to get us financed. Once that was all done we then went out to the lot to pick out a car. We chose a 2012 Ford Mustang that I have to say that we absolutely love. The whole process that day was painless, yes it took some time, but it was all worth it. Shopping for a new car at Mike Bass Ford was a great experience. I have been purchasing cars for over 45 years and have never owned a ford until now. I was very impressed with the new ford lineup. Especially the overall technology built in and the gas mileage. After test driving a few models I decided on the 2013 Escape Titanium which met all of the requirements I established for the new car I was shopping for. The salesman, Tony DeBoltzo, was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly explain all the up-to-date technology and the process I was going through to purchase the car. He made me feel comfortable throughout the process, even answering my many "dumb" questions. He was very patient as I test drove several cars and even retested a few. I also feel I got a great deal (I know because I did my homework before going shopping). I will certainly return here when my wife's car needs to be replaced and for future purchases for myself. The dealership is great as far as buying a car but the SERVICE DEPARTMENT STINKS. They will tell you one thing and do another. Car sits for days without being looked at even though they tell you they will check it out. Bad experience both times I used this service department. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

Make sure you have gas money so you can check the performance of the vehicle on the highway. they keep all their used vehicles just about on completely empty, perhaps so you can only test drive around the parking lot. also bring your own coffee. make sure you check every single thing on a vehicle, the parking brake, the sunroof, the doors and windows, everything, because it seems they don't do any inspections at all either used vehicles before selling it to you. once you buy it, forget about the repair shop unless you want to leave your vehicle for one to four weeks just to get looked at, especially if its not a ford.

The Financing section/representative worked with the cash and checks we had available to provide us with the best use of our money and explained the details to make sure we knew exactly the things we needed to do next. It is not a daily purchase to buy a car and we found Paul Lawson and the staff at Mike Bass Ford to be attentive, direct in answering our questions and they made the car buying experience fair and I feel that they are very trustworthy and a Dealer with integrity.

This company didn't look for the model car I wanted. The salesman said it wasn't available. It was a horrible experience. I work in sales myself and if I acted like Justin did I would have been fired. I emailed the company and managers and never received a response. They do not care about their customers. Go to Liberty Ford, they treat you right.
