Just bought my first car in ages from MINI of Manhattan. We were a little burned from previous interactions at other dealerships, but had a great experience here. We worked with David mostly, with additional interaction with Jordan, Catherine, and of course the accounting team in various parts of the process. Everyone was easy to work with, responsive via email for follow-up, and respectful of COVID precautions. They answered our many many questions fully and up-front. The whole thing from start to finish was efficient, straightforward, and fun. I was impressed and would recommend them highly.

Made an appointment to have my car oil changed. Came and I’m told that my appointment is during their lunch time and I have to wait until after their lunch is completed. Then why did you give me an appointment during your lunch time? Worst dealership experience ever. What this dealership fail to realize other people time is just as valuable. Had to leave my job and clients fo be here. Ended up leaving without oil change. Will go elsewhere.

Well there are some superstars at this Manhattan Mini such as Jordan and Mateo! The manager Catherine is very efficient and friendly as is the other salesperson Dave who helped with my custom convertible...and there could be some more that I haven't met. The inventory is very low everywhere right now due to covid-19,but it's a great showroom and they do everything in their power to please you and actually deliver the car to you when it finally arrives!

Mateo and all the employees at Mini of Manhattan were super knowledgeable and helpful. They communicated with me so efficiently and helped me choose the right Mini for me and my family. They helped get all the paperwork done before pick up, so all we had to do was sign while they changed the plates on the car. And of course they handled my trade -in easily. I love driving my new Mini and love that I can use electric or gas. Recommend 100%

Not sure how prestige has all these stars. I ended up at mini of Manhattan after prestige didn't return my calls severaltimes and even forgot the car I was looking for.My fiance and I had an amazing experience in leasing our first mini country man with Alexander Lezhen. We drove away within 24 on a Saturday. Alex was kind,honest, knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and spent hours going over all details and options. I've known Sasha for almost 10 years. We met when he worked for Acura of Manhattan. I was sitting in the waiting for my car to have an oil change. He happened to walk by, we chatted for a little bit and he gave me his business card. There was no push to upgrade the car. I told him when I was ready I would be back. Then in October 2011 I went in to see Sasha and walk out with the floor model fully loaded. The funny thing was someone else was interested in the same car but as she was test driving another car I was at the dealership making a deal for the car and had given Sasha $100 to hold the car and when the woman came back I had bought the car. It was as easy as that. Moving forward 2 years later Sasha had left Acura of Manhattan and came to Mini of Manhattan. At that time I still I had the car he had sold me and was very comfortable with it and did not want to change it. Still Sasha went off each of the cars and told me the best thing for me was to lease and I should consider it. I told him when I was ready to change the Acura I would be back. Another 3 years went and I wasn't thinking about changing the car yet until November 2015 I had a major accident and I call him. Of the course like the father that he is, he ask if I was alright, and if he could anything to let him know. Again, months went by until My 15 I text him and told him that I noticed some changes to the line of Mini. He readily said that there were some changes made and they were redesign. As we were texting I quickly looked on the mini;s official website and then I saw it, the mini convertible. It look like a dream and I had to have it. But at the time I started a doctoral degree program and was thinking of getting the car after I graduated but I wanted to take a look. I told him I looked at the convertible in caribbean blue and it was gorgeous only that It would have to wait until 3 years after I graduate. Again, he said ok but let me know when you ready. A week later he sent me pictures of the convertible in caribbean blue. My friend was with me and I told her that I wanted it. She told me to get it. I deserve it. So on her advise I text Sasha and made an appointment to come to the dealership and take test drive. When I arrived at the dealership I saw the JCW convertible in winter silver and right away I wanted it but Sasha thinking of my budget said that it was $45,000 car and I didn't need to have so much power. He said the mini cooper would just fine. We took a test drive and my amazement he was right. The mini cooper was the right fit for me. The base model started at $25,000 and when I finish customizing the car it was at a comfortable $33,000 so much better than $45,000+. There was no "I have to think about it." The same day I placed the order for car. What I like most about my Sasha is trustworthy, honest, caring, and very knowledgeable about what he sell. It was never I'll you know. He is very straightforward. There's is nothing deceptive in his character in order to get the sell. I am thankful that I met Sasha on the fateful day in the Acura dealership. I can't tell you how many times I text him about when is the car coming. He was always patient and that the car was on schedule and not to worry. Some other dealer wouldn't have gotten back to me until the car came but Sasha always return all my texts. Then on Wednesday, July 21 he text the car had arrived. It was very expected. I couldn't wait to get it. Then on Friday morning we drove back to the dealer and my mom and I pick up the car. Lots of pictures were taken and happily we drove out of the dealership with my new mini cooper convertible in winter white. I love my mini. If I could I would sleep in it. It drives like a dream and it is a powerful little car. Again thanks Sasha for being so patient and being a friend. Emily

We were looking for a new Mini and have been to another dealer(Ray Catena MINI of Westchester) and had a horrible experience that after the deal was almost closed, we decided not to take the car not because we did not like the car, but because the saleswoman did not give us a good experience and was rushing us to buy the car, did not even explained nothing about the car, and had an attitude with us, even thought me and my wife explained to her we have never had a car in the USA before, they did not even offer us a test drive!. Anyways, we decided to try our luck with Mini Of Manhattan and were helped by Alexander, he explained everything to us, took his time to explained to us why we should get a mini, went through all the gadgets the car has, treated us very respectful, gave us a test drive, explained every single detail in the sale process. That's the way to make business I would give them an excellent rate 10/10, and will recommend them. Thanks Alexander and Mini of Manhattan for your great customer service and appreciate everything you did for us!! Keep it up the good work!!.

Having purchased my first car was one of the most liberating things that I have done in the prime of my life. My salesperson also made my experience most refreshing and wonderful. In all honesty, i did not anticipate walking out the Mini Manhattan dealership owning a car the same day, but Sasha made it happen! It was pleasurable to have a very receptive and attentive salesperson who moved mountains to put me in my dream car. He also continues to follow to see how I'm doing with my Mini as well as provide me with resources sites and tutorials about my Mini. Overall my experience with the Mini Manhattan dealership was Liberating and Refreshingly Wonderful!

I can't say enough great things. Everyone I met was very friendly. I had the pleasure of working with Sasha....and I can't emphasize enough that it was a true pleasure. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and straight forward. And he truly has your best interest at heart. He spent over an hour getting to know me and took the time to understand my needs. A week later, he spent 2 hours with me as I tested 2 cars on a busy Saturday morning. Today, I closed the deal and leased my first ever mini.... normally would not be doing this. ....But this experience deserves a review. Visited this dealership three times. First to see car and determine if I would purchase, Second to show to my wife and order and last to pick up the car. Every visit was a joy and pleasure , not my usual experience. and i have purchase many car from Range Rover, Mercedes, and BMW to name a few. Shasa Lezhan, my sales contact throughout the experience was thoughtful, knowledgeable and respectful. The dealership was also very competitively priced for the car I ordered.. Last but not least....the car is alot of fun to drive

I just leased my 3rd Mini. The reason I keep going back to Mini is that this is probably the only manufacturer that doesn't BS the customers. There's no strong-arm sales tactics. They don't lie to you or coerce you. They simply and clearly present the facts, go over pricing options, then let you decide what you want to do. The Mini experience is unlike any other car dealer, in the best way. Alexander 'Sasha" Lezhen was my salesman. We went in to take a look at new models, then got very busy and stopped thinking about getting a new car, when Sasha texted us to mention they had an incentive program for end of the month that would save us $2500. It prompted us into making another trip and locking in the deal. Sasha made it very easy and painless and we knew we weren't being hustled. I highly recommend Sasha and Mini of Manhattan.

I don't like the whole car buying experience, so when my partner suggested I go with him, I told him "No thanks!" Then I heard the charismatic voice of Alexander "Sasha" Lezhen on our answering machine reminding us of our appoint- and I was in.I'm telling you, the entire experience was lovely, concise, precise, and so worth it even if it was just to meet Sasha. We learned all about the mini cooper clubman and I swear, in less than an hour we were signing papers. Not once have we felt pressured, pushed nor "sold." If he didn't have other happy customers waiting for him, we would have spent the day with Sasha jajaja!7 days later, we picked up our mini cooper clubman on my partner's birthday. I went with my son( who is a car racer) to the Mini dealer. We were approached by Sacha a very gentle not pushy gentleman . He was extremely patient with us(we were here to look only) he gave us advice and time even though his phone was ringing. We dicided on a certain car (country man) we liked a certain color but we're not sure he could get it. He finally got us what we were dreaming of and beyond.... Arranged the financing etc etc. if any of the family needs a new car I will strongly recommend Sacha and Mini car dealer.

Visited Manhattan Mini Dealership as a part of "pre-lease-end" (my current lease with other brand expires in few weeks) shopping preview strategy. Did my homework and got familiar with options, but wanted more personalized advise. My son (quite picky in his preferences), who visited Mini year ago, insisted that I ask for Alexander Sasha Lezhen to assist me. I was skeptical first, but as soon as I was introduced to, I fell in love with him.Professional, funny, genuine, not at all that kind of pushy, as you can expect from salesperson - it was both entertaining and educational to deal with Sasha.Will come back as soon as I make up my mind.Have to mention that first sales associate who took care of me in my first appearance, was Michael Cosgrove, who also was very nice to me.

My wife and I just bought a new Mini Cooper S Hardtop. The entire process took less than an hour and was incredibly fun, (my intentional grammatical error). The stereotype of a car salesperson that had been living in my head since the dawn of time was completely and permanently destroyed forever all due to the interaction we had incredibly talented Sasha. Had a good experience as first. But after paying $2.5k to have my Mini overhauled In June, I brought it back in October for a minor issue and they said there was severe rust in multiple areas that would cost $10k or more to repair, and that I should really just sell it for parts at this point. (And they were going to charge me $360 for diagnosing this). They were unwilling to even acknowledge that it was a bit unusual for them to charge me $2.5k for an overhaul and then, 4 months later, tell me the car was totaled due to rust.

I was looking for a specific Mini Countryman AWD loaded in green. Sasha found me the car in a few hours and had it delivered to the dealership the next day. The purchase procedure was a breeze and my test drive and delivery was a fun experience due to Sasha. He is truly a Mini enthusiast and not just selling a car. He is passionate about a great product and his enthusiasm is contagious. I did oil change this week. It's the simplest possible operation. But when I got back home I saw pieces of broken plastic on a coolant tank.. They broke plastic mount when changed an oil filter As they required, I described this situation in a feedback. But they never got back to me with apologies or anything. I will never come back to this service and do not recommend it to anyone.

Just bought a certified used 2012 MINI Countryman S, and loving it. The experience was great, and as others have already said Sasha is an amazing Guy! I needed a car and was not looking forward to the ordeal of shopping around, selecting something I liked, and going ahead with the purchase. I went to a few dealers and was not happy with the experience. However, when I arrived at Mini of Manhattan, Sasha completely changed my perception of a car dealership. He greeted me warmly and showed me the cars which were available. He was extremely friendly and helpful. I could tell that he really believed in the Mini brand. He explained all my options, and worked out some sample lease deals. A week later, he took me on a test drive and showed me how much fun it is to drive a Mini. Last night, I took possession of my new Mini. I am extremely happy with my car, and extremely grateful to Sasha for making this such a wonderful experience. Mini of Manhattan is very lucky to have such an outstanding salesman.

I hate buying or leasing a new car. But Alex handled my wife and me with charm and efficiency, saving us lots of effort and making the experience a pleasurable event. We unexpectedly encountered an issue with unreceived license plates on a prior lease extension that could have created major problems, but he and the dealership identified the issue early and took care of it with no impact on us. Whew! We drove away happy and he followed up to put the finishing touches on his excellent tutorials. Bravo!

We were very impressed by our sales representative, Sasha (Alexander) Lezhen. He is very knowledgeable, of course, but more than just trying to sell us a car, he cared about our experience. He was very patient, did above and beyond his duty to find us the car that we wanted, and made arrangements so that we can get the car very quickly. He even accommodated our request to store the car at the dealership for an extra few days while we get our garage. Through out the engagement, it was always very apparent that he loved Mini Cooper and he loves his job. Every dealership should look to having a few salesperson like Sasha. No wonder he sold three cars in the day that we purchased ours. He gave customers a great experience. I would definitely consider coming back for my second car. From a scale of 1 to 10, Sasha is an 11! Good Job Sasha!

Completely dissatisfied with Mini of Manhattans Service Department. I brought my car in due to the check engine light being on and it was determined that there was an issue with the timing chain and tensioner. As this is a common problem, they were nice enough to fix it for free. I also paid an additional $480 for an oil change, brake fluid flush and cabin air filter change. I dropped my car off on Saturday 7/5/14 and was told on Monday 7/7/14 that the car was ready for pick up. It wasnt until I got there on Friday 7/11/14 that I saw the check engine light was still on and there was a discernable knocking sound coming from the undercarriage. When I brought this to the attention of one of the service advisors there, I was told that these issues were NOT present after they changed the timing chain & tensioner and test drove the vehicle (meaning they were new issues that occurred between the day they test drove it and the day I picked it up). Thus, I left the car there so they can further inspect it. My service advisor (Maileen Cancel) contacted me on Monday, 7/14 to inform me that they will only look at the problem if I pay them a $160 diagnostic fee. I was confused as to why I shouldve been responsible for the expense, since I was told the car was in good working condition before I was scheduled to pick it up (meaning the faults were new and occurred while the car was in Mini of Manhattans possession). I went back and forth with my service advisor, then the service manager, Robert (who was adamant that the knocking sound was already there when I brought the car in, even though he wasnt there himself. He was probably so adamant because if he admitted it was a new problem, then there would be no justification for me to pay for it). I escalated this to the General Manager. Later the Service Manager called me informing me that they will do the diagnostic check for free.The Service Manager called me today saying the car needs a new engine and turbo.I brought the car in due to the above issues and I didnt find out about these new issues until i went in that day to pick up the car. Now I'm being told the car needs a new engine and turbo? The service manager said he could get the engine for free but I have to pay $1,900 for the turbo. I reluctantly accepted the repairs, but I honestly feel like I'm being ripped off. If the problem was so severe to the point where the car needs a new engine and turbo, how could they be ready to release the car to me the day I was told to pick it up? Again, I definitely feel ripped off, but what choice do i have? My confidence in Mini has been completely lost.

This week I made not just one friend but two. The first was Sasha, the excellent staffperson who helped me make the right decision on a vehicle and then worked with me to settle on a contract I could live with. The second was the gorgeous and speedy Certified Pre-Owned MINI I just drove home in. Very pleased with both and expect to have them in my life for years to come. after purchasing my over priced car that depreciated by $10,000 already in less then 6 months, Im unhappy I was never told to expect a title in the mail for the car thinking it was finance and they hold on to the title till you pay off the car. me not knowing, my title gets lost, mailed to wrong address, after I move to florida I realize all this and cant register my car. If I knew to expect a title in the mail I would follow up every month till I got it. I called up the dealer for help since I have no clue what to do, got transferred 4 times someone was to call me back, nobody did, then called back again the girl on phone was very rude and blamed everything on me. bottom line they are very nice to you to make the sale but once you buy it they don't care. don't shop here find another dealer. btw im still without a title and I have to do detective work to ask for a duplicate. thanks for nothing.

I have been a Mini owner since I bought my first one (Mini Hardtop) in 2006. I had the car until this year, and after realizing that I do more traveling than I used to and need the extra room, decided to upgrade to a Countryman S. My father was helping me purchase the car and was leaving the country in less than 48 hours, so we needed to get the deal done quickly. Sasha was our dealer, and literally sat with us from open to close in one day, and patiently went through the entire process with us. From the first minute I walked into MINI of Manhattan to the moment I motored out in my brand new British Racing Green MINI Cooper S, the experience was just perfect! I was a walk-in and was greeted immediately by a receptionist who offered me something to drink and made me feel totally comfortable. Within minutes of browsing, Sasha came to greet me. He was the opposite of any negative stereotypes I had of car salesmen. There was no "hard sell" or pressure-- he was just super friendly, had answers for all of my questions and, best of all, had a clear passion for what he does and the brand he sells! I fell in love with MINI almost immediately and Sasha was incredibly helpful in making sure I understood the benefits of each model/option, etc. He quickly found me the exact car I was looking for and then took care of me every step of the way as I completed the purchase. I did nothing besides pay-- he took care of every step of dealing with transferring my plates, going to the DMV, figuring out my trade-in, helping me deal with my insurance carrier. It was just so easy! Then he gave my sister a toy MINI car of her own, took photos of me with my new MINI before I drove away and immediately texted that night to check in on how motoring home had gone. Sasha was the greatest and I wholeheartedly recommend MINI of Manhattan to anyone in the market!

Worst service I have ever had. They do not pick up the phone. They do not return your calls. I dropped off my car on a Thursday, it still wasn't diagnosed by Monday. One person was honest enough to say that they were short on 'service agents' and swamped with cars and that's why my car hadn't even been looked at. The manager was passive aggressive, didn't apologize and told me I was getting my car Tuesday. Tuesday became Wednesday. I am not confident that they know what they are doing. Horrible, horrible communication and service is lacking. Very concerning.

I was moving form NYC to Upstate NY and wanted a Mini Cooper ever since I was 13.I saw the movie Italian Job and was hooked, (the dealership has a signed poster with the cast in the hall) Sasha welcomed me and was so much fun to take a test drive with. We drove up the West side Highway and it was so much fun to handle on the road. Driving it every day is like driving a Go-Kart.When it came to buying I wanted to take the weekend to think about it and also shop around. I went to a dealership in Queens and had the complete opposite experience! Lets just say in the Dealership in Queens the car hadn't been cleaned properly and My partner found a few pairs of dirty panties in the back seat pocket!!!!!I went straight back to Mini of Manhattan and bought the car there...Sasha helped me over the weekend on a Sunday!! we emailed back and fourth and he helped me get all the paperwork with my insurance company and my bank statements together so that Monday morning I could drive away with my new car!Sasha got me the plates the registration and the inspection all taken care of. My partner and I left to have breakfast and he took care of the rest!I can't not tell you ENOUGH it was worth every penny I spent on my Mini. it was the best car buying experience I could have had. Sasha your the best!P.S.Its been a month and I love my car even more now then when I bought it. Lastly and more importantly, I would personally like to inform the BMW/Mini corporation of the outstanding & hard employees they have working for them at this flagship. Alexander, "Sasha" was a wonderful support, a guardian angel in what was a very confusing and frustrating process before I accidentally walked into the MINI dealership and met Sasha. I had been hassled, tricked and misled by Ford and Toyota. Never having leased a car before I was baffled and ready to give up. One sunny Fall day after having been disappointed by an experience at a neighboring dealer of another brand, I thought the MINI dealership looked inviting and decided to walk in. Sasha greeted me with a smile, took care of all of my needs (within budget) honestly, efficiently, and completely hassle free. Just a few days later I was driving my new MINI. Sasha Lezhen was so great to work with , and I have dealt with several dealerships that intimidated or annoyed me. AS a first time car buyer, a single woman and to be honest, someone not very informed about cars or the process of leasing, Sasha was beyond patient with my 1000 questions. He was able to communicate at length via email which really helped me as I work a lot and don't have time to come in to the showroom or call salespeople, as other dealers insisted I do. When I first went in, I was not ready to move forward and Sasha was totally understanding. He remembered all the things I wanted in a car and was able to find the perfect car for me so I did not have to wait and "build" it. I never felt pressured. Well my fiance and I walked in the first day wanting to ask about the MINI if it was right for us.. very next day PURCHASED! Peter and Sasha helped us so much. They took the time and effort to find the perfect deal for me and even gave our BMW to them. A refreshing car buying experience on 11th Avenue! Straightforward, positive and helpful. Minis do sell for a premium compared to other compacts, but the dealership has great incentives for leasing (and leasing through BMW/MINI is better than others I've dealt with), and MINI resale value is very strong.

We went to this dealership today with every intention of buying a new Mini Cooper to replace my current one. In response to an email I received about a sales event, we made an appointment for 4:45pm. I got a call a couple of days ago to confirm the appointment.We arrived at that time, and we weren't greeted by anyone, which I thought was a bit weird, but I figured that they were busy and someone would get to us once free. We spent the next 15 minutes looking at the model we were interested in. No one came by.At 5pm, the lights flipped on and off. It seemed there was some little electrical surge. Nope, they continued to flip on and off and I realized that it was a signal that the dealership was closing. Flipping your lights on and off might be an OK way to close a dive bar at 3am, but, if you're operating an establishment where the cheapest thing on the menu is $20,000, maybe consider using some type of communication that gives the impression that you at least maybe think of your customers as human beings.At this point, we walked up to a table where a woman was sitting, looking at papers. Behind her were two other employees, also staring blankly at papers. And we stood there. And they stared at papers. And one by one, they would slyly glance up to see what we were doing, but while deftly avoiding any eye contact which would, of course, cause us all to spontaneously combust.And I said, loudly: "Well this is strange."The woman at the table looked up, and asked how she could help us. "We had an appointment for 4:45pm," I said."We're closed now, the sale ended at 5" she said."Well we've been waiting around for someone to talk to us for 15 minutes," I said."Look, I can give you a free gift bag," she said."I don't want a free gift bag," I said, "I want to buy a car."Exasperated by my incessant attempts to give them tens of thousands of dollars, she asked for my name. I gave her my name. She asked me to spell it. I then had to spell my first and last name, one letter at a time, while she wrote it on the back of one of the important papers at which she had previously been staring blankly. She then walked off.And we stood and waited.And she returned and sat down at the table. And I said, "You know what--never mind, we'll buy a car elsewhere," and walked out.As we were walking out, I heard one of the automatons behind the counter say to the woman: "Don't worry about it." Plus one star for being a car dealer where you can look at new vehicles without being bothered by high-pressure salespeople. Minus all the other stars for being a car dealer where you can't actually buy a car.

After a visiting another mini dealer in New Jersey I decided to try the Manhattan Mini dealer after seeing a special offer on the mini website. The dealer in jersey did not offer us the same deal but Sasha (Alexander Lezhen) totally came through with what we wanted, a lease on a standard hardtop mIni. All we wanted was a straightforward lease agreement and a stock hardtop mini and Alexander totally respected that and did not try to steer us into a sale or push us towards fancy extras. This had not been our experience prior to meeting Sasha so we were very relieved and felt very at home and taken care of. At one point I was trying to secure an insurance carrier and getting very frustrated with the company I had gotten an estimate on line only to find a very different deal on the phone. Sasha immediately saw there was a problem and hooked me up with a much better deal totally saving the day! My fiance and I are very new to the car dealer ship game and Sasha was an enormous help, never felt pressured or rushed always welcome which is very rare from our experience. I hope to keep in touch with Sasha and the folks at mini and would not hesitate to do business with them again.

Simon was great to work with! He found us on the service floor and immediately tried to really understand what we wanted out of our MINI. He has a MINI himself and offered advice about what additions he really felt were necessary and what was superfluous, which we appreciated. He always got back to me right away when I had a question about leasing or the car or whatever. I just got my new MINI last week and I love it!!

Just walked in one day to look at a Mini. Sasha (Alexander Lezhen) greeted me and my fiance very pleasantly and professionally.He explained everything in great detail and was very patience. Being that it was getting close to closing, Sasha suggested that we schedule a time to do a test drive before we made a decision. I totally respect and appreciate him for that. Most dealerships are more concerned with closing the deal than making sure the customer is going to be satisfied with their purchase. The day of our test drive was awesome! We talked about everything else more than we talked about the car. After the test drive Sasha gave me a good number on a model we liked and the deal was done. On a casual Friday afternoon, on our way home from work, my husband and I decided to stop by MINI of Manhattan just to "look around". I had been interested in buying a MINI cooper for myself. We already have a MINI and I find them to be very cute. Since I am not a licensed driver I was no where near ready to buy a car. As I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff. I was then introduced to our motorist advisor, Sasha. He was very friendly from the start. He followed every question with in-depth information and added his own expert opinion. We informed him about my current situation (not being a driver) and he was very supportive. He showed us to the car we ended up buying and walked us through the entire process. His genuine interest and enthusiasm made, what could've been a very stressful situation, became a little adventure. While I am not a licensed driver, Sasha put me into the car of my dreams. It has given me the incentive to take my goal of obtaining my drivers license to a new level. I can't wait to be behind the wheel of my MINI. I might add that my husband is the happiest I've seen him in years, driving my little "Beast" (My MINI Cooper JCW). I am profoundly grateful to Sasha and the staff at MINI who have made this possible. Our experience at MINI of Manhattan was not just a business transaction, it was more a life altering event. Me and my fiance were on the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle that was good on performance as well as gas mileage. After visiting several other dealerships and manufacturers like Chevy, Mitshubishi, Mazda, Volkswagen, toyota and Dodge we came to the agreement that the Mini cooper s convertible was for us. Sales service was friendly and the employees were very polite and respectful. This played a major part in our purchase decision since we were not greeted at Dodge or Mazda, we looked passed the cars and left. I told my fiance: "hey, they snooze, they lose". So, in that, we bypassed every brand that had poor salesmanship. When we went to Mini Cooper USA, they were so good that we walked away with a purchase. I recommend this dealership, the brand and it's staff. It was an excellent experience. Ask for Sasha and Jay, they made our experience worthwhile. Thank you

I was looking for a new car, and was considering a Mini Cooper. So I called up Mini of Manhattan, and was lucky enough to be connected on the phone with Alexander Sasha Lezhen. He told me that the car I had seen advertised online, a cute blue 10th Anniversary Edition, was still available. So I hopped a cab, arriving there at 4 p.m., and Sasha has me test drive that car--my first experience driving a Mini. It was surprisingly comfortable, and I loved how the car handled, zipping up the West Side Highway. So right then and there, an hour later, I decided to buy it. Sasha sold it to me at a great price; I came by the next day to pick it up after Sasha made sure that it was fully detailed and sparklingly shiny. Sasha spent about an hour and a half showing me every feature and control of the car, from front to back--and even took the time to get me signed on to my Sirius satellite radio subscription and to enter my favorite stations on the pre-sets. I drove the car home, and Sasha called me that evening to make sure that I was happy.Sasha is a great guy--friendly, not pushy, truly helpful. Buying the car was not the agonizing experience I had expected, but a truly fun and memorable one. I'll be sure to return there and to ask for Sasha, whenever I may be ready to purchase another car!

This was by far the most pleasant buying experience I have had at any dealership in New York City. Just make sure to schedule an appointment for test drives, as they get very busy, but once you have an appointment, you can be assured they will take all the time possible to help you out. I also liked how I was helped by two different sales representatives and they were both happy to help due to a "we help each other out" philosophy. I have a feeling I'll be dealing with this dealer again after my lease expires, but that won't be for 3 years. :)

I am European and I have been a long-time MINI aficionado. I bought my first MINI in 2002 when the newly designed model emerged on the US market. A few days ago, my old MINI had sadly reached its final hours. Denise Lopes was very courteous and clearly explained the repair challenges. I decided it was time to trade it in. Poor customer service for repairs, poor communication, inability to provide any documentation regarding warranty on replaced parts, do not answer phone calls, tried to blame non-working new engine of 3 days on "over driving" the car with no care instructions on new engine, make you pay for work before repairs are begun by certified check or cash only, condescending when communicating, picked up car with claim of $500 balance, after questioning it Pamela says "oh ok no balance", allowed me to take car without signing for car release. Enterprise used for loaners and hold is still on account b/c Mini of Manhattan failed to pay Enterprise, Enterprise employees state "They hear nothing but bad things about Mini of Manhattan", I could write a book about how poor and "shady" this dealership is.

I brought a car in to have a fuse fixed and not only did they try to upsell me by $4.5k but when I refused and came by to pick up the car, it wouldn't start anymore. (The fuse for for the sunrook and rear wiper blade). They tried to tell me that it was because I had after-market upgrades on the car (all of which had been working fine when I brought the car in). Then they said they would diagnoze it if I left it for another day. At the end of the day, they told me they had reset the computer and the car was fixed now. When I came to pick it up, it wouldn't start AGAIN! They take no responsibility for their screw ups, attempt to shift the blame, and refused to even compensate me for the costs of alternate transportation for those two days. This is not my first horrible experience with them, but it is my last. I will be suing them and advise all others to NOT deal with this place. Their sales department is a big scam too. MUCH better prices and customer service at the Long Island dealerships. Better repairs too. Had to tow my car there (at my own expense). Don't shop here, and DON'T let them 'repair' your car if you want it to ever run again!!!
