We were browsing this dealership looking to buy a new or used VW Tiguan and after 20mins of walking around no one came to talk to us so we went inside and saw a lady at her desk and asked where are all the sale guys? She replied with "we're all here" with an attitude and from there I already knew this was not going to be a good choice coming here. So we asked her about the Tiguan that we interested in and she took us to go see the car and I asked her how much was this Tiguan and she replied with "shouldn't you know the price since you saw it online?" I actually didn't browse their website online and there was no price on the window. So we still kept positive and ignore her ignorance and still proceed to check the car out and my sister made a comment about the inside of the Tiguan that it was pretty compacted and she did not mean it in a bad way and then this lady replied with a rude remark saying" Do you have $55,000? Then you can buy something that's bigger. We actually still kept our cool and went inside to check the price out for the 2013 Tiguan Se we looked at and it was roughly close $24,000 with 12,xxx miles and that was way too much for an older model. We showed her a 2016 Tiguan Se with 3,000 miles from VW Gallery of Norwood,MA and it was $3000 cheaper. She replied back with "well it's a no brainer what do you me want to do? She apparently did not want to sell us a vehicle. I don't want to assume anything but I think it was because we looked really young and she probably thought that we was going to waste her time. Many would think that we are 21 or younger but we are actually in our late 20's.So after all this we went to VW Gallery in Norwood,MA the same day and had the best sales rep Tony sell us a 2016 VW Tiguan.If only she took 10 minute of her time to get to know us Minuteman VW would of had a good day.

I discovered that a seismic difference exists between MINUTEMAN VW & all other VW Dealerships in all of New England. I'm composing this review/rating PRIOR to actually taking delivery of my new GTI from MINUTEMAN VW. Why? Because a lot of favorable Dealer ratings/reviews are fantastically "gushing" due to the Reviewer being euphoric re: their new car opposed to what it cost or the Dealer from which it was purchased. The shiny new-car that is "all their's!" tends to result in "rose colored" glasses wherein all the buyer does is shower high-praise on the Dealership, when in reality they are truly happy about the car! That's called an "emotional" response, not a "logical" response (NOTE: One of the final "wants" a Dealer will request prior to turning over the keys is a glowing rating/review, which in turn makes these ratings/reviews totally skewed--thus you see a lot of "HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE" & "BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE"---the former being for the buyer who didn't get a price they wanted & walked away angry, & the latter being of the emotional/rose-colored glasses variety). As for MINUTEMAN VW, not enough high-praise & accolades exist for me to describe MINUTEMAN VW or having the BENEFIT of being a Customer of MINUTEMAN VW. VERY SIMPLY, EVERY OTHER VW DEALERSHIP SUCKS, DON'T HESITATE...BUY YOUR NEXT CAR FROM MINUTEMAN VW. Okay, now I need to provide the "proof" to substantiate my sentiments & the advice I'm sharing re: MINUTEMAN VW upon an open forum.1) I first visited Colonial VW in Medford. As you will find with many Dealerships, after an inquiry is made & a test drive is scheduled, upon walking through the door you're pounced upon by a heavily perfumed, smiling, "Sunday finest" wearing group of faces. The person I was dealing with & scheduled the test-drive with is Tito, a very pleasant person who rapidly shook my hand & even more quickly handed me off instantly to Quentin the "actual salesperson" who would be taking me on the test-drive. Post Test-drive, Quentin & I sit down in what, for a Saturday prior to a Holiday Weekend, was a spotless antiseptic showroom...great(!)...but your odds of rolling a bowling ball through the showroom & hitting a prospective customer opposed to a showroom car or sales person were probably 10,000 to 1. Quentin & I discussed my purchase of the car I test drove. I detailed that my "want" would be to pay the bulk in cash & $1,000 on a credit card & perhaps finance $6,000. Quentin went to his "Manager" to get the numbers prepared. Ten minutes later, Quentin returned with his Manager Josh, & handed me the print-out. Seeing the number, my brain instantly said "SOLD!!!!", my mouth didn't. After my introduction to Josh, he said "Wow, I didn't think we had any 2 door GTI's in stock, they're so rare" (A transparent & moronic "Sales Technique", due to Josh not knowing if the number I had been given was acceptable---he is a Manager, and he doesn't know his inventory, uhh-oohh). I then told both Quentin & Josh that I was buying, & I took my credit card out. Unfortunately, for the next 25 minutes we engaged in an absolute must have/total want of Colonial VW. The sale had to be made in August---it was the 27th. I explained that the "cash" part of the transaction would take at least 4-5 business days to secure into my checking account. Due to my euphoric mindset of the moment, I participated in a hoops-chutes-ladders negotiation for fulfilling Josh & Colonial's VW's August dictate. I was now financing the car, & then paying it off in full when I got the money transfer...OR...depleting my checking account & putting $3,000 on my credit card, & then financing & then paying it all off. It was a jumbled mess. However, due to my jubilation, I told them "Why don't we wait until Monday & I will make a call to see how liquid I am, & how fast that liquidity can be wired into my checking, or if something needsto be sold, which probably meant 4-5 business days". I was even willing to start the financing process...but then I paused...& said "let's see what happens on Monday". They let me leave the "store" with my credit card in hand & having had full agreement on the price!!! 2) I next visited Wellesley VW. Same antiseptic, ideal for an echo, showroom experience. I gave them the Colonial Medford VW number, & they matched it instantly. Great! Then they told me I had to buy in August, or risk "losing incentives". Huh??? No customer incentives existed on GTI's, & I was fairly confident that going into the SEPTEMBER Labor Day Weekend/Sales Event, VW USA wasn't going to suddenly cut DEALER incentives. So, I left after having been exposed to 4 different people who were "handling" my deal. Unbeknownst to me---Colonial VW in Medford is a MEGA Dealer with Wellesley VW of Wellesley & Colonial VW of Westborough as their "sister" stores. So obviously, AUGUST AUGUST AUGUST was going to be the absolute want...even though, as I later told both Dealers when September came & they told me I was "lucky" the car's I was interested in hadn't sold and VW hadn't done anything with incentives, I told them "I cared about your August numbers as much as I do a grain of sand on a beach in Sri Lanka". 3) Kelly VW? See above, but worse. I had a lower quote that they refused to match. However they keep hounding me. It finally stopped when I sent an email asking "What precisely is the value I get in exchange for paying hundreds more at Kelly. Please detail it, & I will perform my own cost v. benefit analysis". I've not heard back from them since.MINUTEMAN VW: Thursday September 1st arrived---I had decided not to call my "money guy" until September. However, I did call MINUTEMAN VW. I live in Lexington,& they're 5 miles from my home. I hadn't reached out to them because their website indicated no stock on the GTI I was interested in buying (Stupid on my part...one of the aforementioned VW Dealers was willing to source & possibly swap a car with another Dealer in a color I favored, just for me in this one specific instance! "We never swap". It was awkward when they took out a form with a $450 fee they were going to charge me, & then told me they were doing me a big favor this one-time, & they drew an "X" through the $450 they were going to charge me...hum???). I called MINUTEMAN VW & spoke to Timmy Pullo the Sales GM. It was a quick call, he told me "I doubt many of those GTI's exist in the Northeast. Let me call around. I will text you". Later that day, Wellesley emailed me a new offer that was lower than the Colonial Medford offer. I texted Timmy at MINUTEMAN VW back, thanked him for his time, & indicated I was going with Wellesley. Timmy texted me back "That's a nice price"...(pause)..."This is MINUTEMAN VW's price $XX,XXX.XX". It was substantially lower. I texted him back "SOLD!!!". The following day I showed up unannounced at MINUTEMAN VW. I greeted Timmy & sat at his desk. From the moment I walked in, I got the same sense as when you walk into a restaurant, bar, or country inn & say to yourself "This is perfect". The showroom didn't resemble an operating room at MGH. Fun music was playing. A laid back sensibility & atmosphere was in abundance. AND, it was 11AM on the Friday before Labor Day & every cubicle was full. Prospect and Buyer traffic in the SHOWROOM---excuse my excitement, but it was nice to see fellow smiling faces after the phony & lonely sales smiley faces at the other VW Dealers!!!! This review/rating is long enough. Suffice to say, I am, & I was, a total FOOL...yet I found my salvation in MINUTEMAN VW & Timmy Pullo. No they didn't have the car in-stock. Yes, Timmy sourced it, & swapped with another Dealer. No games, No hassles, just pleasant conversation, transparency, & truthfulness in a relaxed environment. MINUTEMAN VW is the New England Mona Lisa, Hope Diamond, Faberge Egg of VW Dealer's, & that's a huge UNDERSTATEMENT. MINUTEMAN VW isn't part of a conglomerate. MINUTEMAN VW is a local Dealer. Remember, I'm deliberately heaping DESERVED praise upon MINUTEMAN VW before I've even seen, or paid a cent for the car I shall be picking up from MINUTEMAN VW tomorrow. Remember, I've been through the washing machine of nearly every other MA VW Dealership. This is a LOGICAL review/rating...not EMOTIONAL. MINUTEMAN VW is the "real deal" & a testament to what a Dealership ought to be in terms of prospect engagement (that can only happen from the top down, so upper Management has espoused virtues that are the envy of any other car dealer or car brand)...VW as a Manufacturer could learn a lot from MINUTEMAN VW. You? Save yourself any agony...go to, & buy from MINUTEMAN VW. Thank you. -David Fuhrer

Don't make a deal with these people ever!They will use petty sales techniques, cheap tricks, and false promises to get you where they want and get to your pocket.I had a really good deal with Mazda, so I sent a respectful email to Minuteman VW saying that I was not going to go with their offer and I was going with a competitor.They reacted with a new offer and convinced me to cancel the other deal I had, which I was not very comfortable with. As soon as I did that and sent them the documents, they had second thoughts on the price, and changed the model of the car we agreed upon, and made it sound like I did not understand them correctly, when I have clear emails for their offer!!!

This is by far the best experience I had with a dealership. Usually in my previous experiences in other places they want to set the deal without caring and taking the time to walk you through different options and if you show a sign that you are not sure if you are ready to set the deal ; they don't take the time any more to guide. In minuteman VW in Bedford, the experience was so different ; I wasn't initially sure of the car make I want to lease , so I went to different places. The sales man Tim Bishop was extremely friendly showing me all models , when I got to the test drive , he was eager to explain to me all the car options and Made sure I am comfortable before the ride. He didn't push to get the sale done. He instead did his best to understand what I need and like in my new car. Once I made up my mind finally about the car I like; Moe the finance manager was as friendly and professional as Tim. He showed me all my options and worked with me to get me the best deal and the best monthly rate that I needed. Everything went so easy and smooth and I went out of the dealership driving my new car. If you want to deal with friendly - yet professional group of people who actually care about giving you the best deal and experience. You should definitely get your next car there.

Everyone at Minuteman VW was extremely nice and courteous. I brought my Subaru Forester here after having horrible experiences at all the Subaru dealers in the area. I couldn't be more pleased and will definitely be coming back and recommending to others.. Their service department was the best I've ever dealt with. Everyone treated me as a friend rather than a regular old customer and did not try to sell me things I didn't need. I don't have one negative thing to say about the entire experience.I would like to make a special shout-out to Derek Liberty. If you ever have the pleasure to work with him you'll see he is the best!I highly recommend this Minuteman VW for all you vehicle services needs. They are fair, honest, and friendly.

JUST STAY AWAY!I seen this dealership with my dad who is a VW lifelong fan & customer & it was a local one so i decided to give it a try. I was met well by Toni (salesman), he introduced me to Jamie (sales manager) who was ok too. Now i test drive the vehicle i want & all seems fine. I discuss everything with the awesome Toni & all i have to do is come back with my wife so we can co-sign. We take a day OFF work to come meet Jamie & Toni all is set up & agreed up on all we gotta do i sign. Little did i know that we had to deal with a very unpleasant employee named Moe Khenifar. He came over with a gloomy look, basically ORDERED us and told u we were not getting the car because of ABCD and that was it. My wife at this time wanted to cause a scene because of the manner at which this gentleman was speaking to us like we owed him a favor or something. We said fine & waited for him to give us other options (we did research & knew we had options), he just got up and walked away with no care at all. Disgusted as we were, Toni finds us walking away and tries to salvage the situation, i say fine & give it one last shot. A few days later i receive a call from Moe basically telling me same stuff & not offering any options, so i ask to speak to someone else. For some reason we were sent to Timmy who instead was willing to help but we could not reach a consensus. NOW, Im a proud owner of a 2016 VW GTI SE from another dealership who gave us GREAT options and treated us like CUSTOMERS as we explained to them what we went through. MY advice is DO NOT deal with Moe as he will not try his best for you, which is also his JOB. I do a lot of reviews & this was one of the worst ever! You lost a lifelong customer & my dad decided not to purchase his new Toureg from you guys.You would think that with the on going emissions scandal they would be nice but my were we surprised. STAY AWAY go to a bigger dealership as they will get stuff done without any hassle & im happy.

I've always enjoyed VW products and was ready to return to them after a long time with Subaru products. Tim Bishop took the time to show me everything that has changed with the GTI lineup after 10 years away. The dealership had the exact configuration I was looking for in stock and seemed to have a huge inventory of GTIs in general. I appreciated a test drive route that included a mix of both surface and highway streets that really let me get a good sense for how the car ran. Again Tim was easy to work with through the buying process and Jamie stopped by to make sure I had no further questions throughout the process. 171 positive reviews compared to 17 negative gives a pretty strong indication this is a reputable dealership and my experience was indicative of that.

My wife and I tend to keep our cars for a number of years and we had to replace both around the same time recently. Minuteman Volkswagen and their entire staff could not have treated us better as we began our search. So much so, we gladly made the 55 mile trip each way and ultimately made two great purchases. Every question answered and every need met, we look forward to introducing our two sons, who are next in line to buy and with their own funds no less!!!

My experience with the dealership started when I called asking about a used 2013 VW Jetta and the boss man Jamie answered the phone. He talked with me for about 20 minutes and I set up a rough time to come in the following day. I test drove the car with Charles who was an awesome guy and was really personable. My original budget would have allowed me to get just the standard VW. After telling Jamie and Charles what my ideal car (Color, options) would be and what my budget was and they were able to give me a great deal on a car that had all the options I wanted for my exact budget! They also gave me a great price for my truck that I traded in with them. I Had been to a couple other dealerships and they weren't willing to come down to their price. The buying process was great, Charles explained everything and handled everything. I live about 45 minutes away and Charles really put in the work to make sure I could leave with the car that day, he got it registered and inspected right in time for me to leave with it before the registry closed. I am very happy and I love the car and will recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car. Thanks again Charles and Jamie!

I had an amazing experience with the people here at Minuteman Volkswagen. Specifically Jamie and Tim Bishop. Jamie worked very quickly with me to come to an agreement on the sale price of the car, making the trip down from Maine worthwhile. Tim went out of his way to ensure everything else went smoothly, even coming in on his day off to be present while selling the vehicle. Although I wanted to drive off the lot the first day, and we ran into some kinks, everyone worked together to make sure that I would be able to pick it up the next day. Tim shipped me a part that was missing the day I took the test drive in a very timely manner. Helped me out with everything I needed, got me approved for exactly how much I wanted and could afford. This is a really good dealership I didn't feel pressured at all by Charles, he worked with me and he is still helping me out with a minor cosmetic flaw with the car even after I singed all the papers and bought the car. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and he even picked up my phone calls when I called his personal cellphone on non work hours. I was definitely satisfied with my purchase and with the customer service I received.

I had a very positive experience at Minuteman Volkswagen. I was so happy to learn that they had BOTH colors I wanted to see in the exact model I was looking for (a 2015 Golf Sportswagen TDI 6-speed) Tim was extremely helpful in explaining the features of the car to me, and the entire process went very smoothly. After visiting a VW dealership close to home and having an exceptionally negative experience, I had almost given up on getting a new car. I decided to go to Minuteman VW, even though it is more than an hour from my home. What a GREAT decision! I purchased a new VW Eos. The entire process was a stress free experience. There was no back and forth bargaining. Tim answered questions, showed multiple cars and helped us decide what car and payment options would work best. He is a wealth of knowledge and such a pleasure to work with. I have been, and will be, recommending Tim and Minuteman VW to anyone in the market for a VW. Thanks for the great experience!

We just bought our 2nd VW from the folks at Minuteman. We went looking for a low miles CPO sportswagen and Eric worked with us to get us into a (new) last years model sportswagen at a price very comparable to what you pay for a low miles CPO! He's a low pressure salesman who's easy and transparent to work with. They were more than fair with our trade in which had been serviced there and we'll continue to use their service and parts department for certain. I had a very pleasant (stress-free) car buying experience with Jamie Benti. I called on Sunday afternoon looking for a specific model/option package that there just aren't many of around. He located an exact match in less than an hour. I came in Monday afternoon for a test drive and to work the numbers (always the difficult part). Not with Jamie - the purchase price and the trade-in offer he gave were more than fair. I confirmed Tuesday morning and picked the car up Thursday afternoon. Piece of cake - can't thank him enough.....

I have been servicing my 2003 Jetta 1.8T since I purchased it at Minuteman VW in 2002. I have ALWAYS serviced it there as well. Derek has been my trusted service rep for years and today was no different. I was only there for an oil change but was treated as though I was a long lost friend from the minute I arrived at the dealership. He immediately checked to make sure my car was brought right in, and after a short time, came to get me to discuss the charges. We spent a few minutes chatting and then I was on my way in a warmed up, washed car. We decided to check this dealership out almost kind of last minute & were pleasantly surprised by how great they were. Everyone (except the finance manager) was great, super friendly & helpful. The finance manager was a little shady & when we were discussing financing he tried pulling a few "fast ones" that we caught. Other than that...would not hesitate to recommend them. Also as a side note the service department was extremely friendly & had no issue with us having the vehicle put on the lift for us to look at underneath.

I researched MANY Volkswagen dealers over the last several months (in two states) searching for a replacement for my 2007 Beetle convertible and just purchased a brand new Beetle convertible at Minuteman. They had the car I was searching for (standard transmission, which another dealer recently told me "just didn't exist - no such animal" and at an extremely fair price. The employees at Minuteman operate with an integrity and respect for the customer that is hard to come by, especially in a dealership setting. Dima was the very best! She's funny, knowledgeable and good-hearted. She worked with me to find the right car for me and helped me to get the best deal possible. She even gave me a refresher course on how to drive standard! Everyone that I talked to there was so helpful, and took care of everything. It was so simple. I walked in on Sunday and drove my new car out on Tuesday. The cars are very reasonably priced, and the sales reps are not allowed to negotiate, which I like. There are massage chairs and free coffee and tea too!

My husband and I just purchased a 2014 Sportwagen TDI from Shirley. After visiting another dealer, we asked them to match Minuteman's price they were advertising on their website. This dealer could not, and was about $2K higher. We then called Minuteman and questioned the price on the website. They told us there was no smoke and mirrors, the price being advertised was the price. When we got to the dealer, every thing went smoothly and got the deal wrapped up in no time. For the past few weeks, I've noticed an intermittent metal-on-metal whine whenever my 2002 Jetta is in motion. It was not obvious to me what was causing the problem. I called Derek to see if I could stop by the dealership and have a mechanic attempt a diagnosis. He put me in touch with Jon, who arranged for Gregorio to take a test drive of the car. Gregorio was quick to locate the problem in one or two brake calipers that were not releasing fully after use, thus maintaining contact with the brake surface and emitting the whine. The problem was promptly and efficiently fixed at minimal cost to me. I am grateful for the fast, attentive service I received at Minuteman from start to finish.

We had been searching for a 2014 VW Touareg TDI Sport, for several months, and found Minuteman VW on-line, after several VERY frustrating experiences working with New York City and New Jersey dealerships. From the first communication it was clear that, at Minuteman VW, we were dealing with individuals who knew the details of their product, had a passion for their product, and demonstrated exceptional listening skills that enabled their customer service to be very, very effective, and extremely timely. Purchasing from out of state, and registering in another state that would be our residence, completing the sale had the challenges of physical distance, and communication limited to telephone and email. Derek Pound and Eric Kaminski, who are very customer focused, and user-friendly, asked probing and focused questions. At no time did we ever feel like they were anything less than absolutely honest about what they could and could not accomplish, what they had to research, and when they would get back to us. They returned calls when they said they would, with emails to make sure we got the information we needed. They over-nighted the paperwork to review and sign, and answered questions with patience and good humor. They worked with the Vermont DMV to get the car registered, and the plates for the car ready in a matter of days, and picked my sweetheart up at the bus station to walk him through the final details of the purchase, so he could drive the car off the lot and get back to his projects the same day. All of this within a week and three days! And the day of the pick-up, they walked Richard through all the bells and whistles of his new car to make sure he'd know how to drive and maneuver safely. Eric Kaminski was extremely courteous. He didn't give me that line, "What do I have to do to convince you to buy a car today?" He let me walk away and then followed up with a phone call. Per the phone call, he sent me an e-mail documenting the reasons why I should further consider purchasing the Tiguan over the over car I was considering. With his initial presentation and then his follow-up, I felt like I was given the opportunity to make the decision on my own, without the exerted desperate pressure typical of most car sales personnel. He even allowed a 2nd test drive, to ensure the car was the right fit for me. I am happy with my decision. I truly feel that I was given all the latitude I needed to fully weigh my options before making my decision. I explained what I was looking for, amount I wanted to spend and also had a trade-in. They were very upfront on the trade-in process, how they determine values, gave me examples and tried to give me the best deal possible. The nice thing about the experience is that the sales associate and the finance manager both worked with me directly and quickly. There was no sales associate running back and forth with the finance manager going through rounds of negotiating. I expect to get a formal customer survey but in advance of that, wanted to share some feedback on my experience at your dealership. I have lived in Bedford for 9 years and have spent many hours walking the lot with my now 10 year old son who loves cars. My mother has had her cars serviced there and last year leased a Passat. I have occasionally looked at purchasing a vehicle yet for various reasons have not. This past week, I went in Tuesday evening to meet with Shirley. She showed me and my son 2 cars and the next morning my partner test drove them. By Friday we drove out with a new used Passat. Over the years I have met with several sales reps and Shirley by far is the most professional and skilled of all. Price is important but I will most definitely pay a bit more elsewhere if I don't feel comfortable with the staff at a dealership. That goes for sales and service. Please know that Shirley has done an amazing job with my family and our recent purchase. Treating your customers fairly, with respect and keeping true to one's word will serve you well in the Bedford community.

I needed to get my DSG fluid and filter changed on my 2011 GTI. After calling around to a few dealerships to ask for a quote, Minuteman gave me the best price and I know it was a fair price based on prior internet research. When I asked if the quoted price included any shop fees I was told yes and that it was an out-the-door price including tax. I brought the car in, had it serviced, everything went fine, and when I left was charged the exact amount I was quoted. You'd think this would be a given, but I've had bad experiences with other dealerships in the past where the quoted price doesn't include extra fees. I appreciate the straightforward approach that Jake took with me and will be coming back here for future work.

I bought my car at Minuteman Volkswagen and have my service agreement through them. However, if I didn't have the agreement through them, I would go to Minuteman for service anyway. Every employee who you interact with, from the coordinator to the service adviser to the service tech who greets you at the service door and whisks your car away, is courteous and friendly. One might think I bought a much more expensive car for the level of service and attention they afford me, and everyone who comes through the door. Schedule changes are not a problem -- a must for a wife and mom who works full-time. They have wifi in the lounge and ample seating so getting work done is a snap.I have recommended Minuteman for service, and sales, in the past and I will continue to do so!

Brought car for 40,000 mile check-up and to replace tire. They wanted to overcharge me $100 to replace the tire. How do I know this? I had bought the same tire in the past from Boston VW, so I knew the price. Jake lied to me so he could go ahead with the 40,000 mile check-up, which cost me $424 and is a total waste of money. Bob tried to explain and justify why Jake wanted to overcharge me. They didn't even do everything they were supposed to for the 40,000 mile check-up; one of the items is a tire rotation and they didn't even do that. Avoid this place if possible.

My wife bought her 2007 Jetta here. Our whole family is from just down the road in Chelmsford. The car was always serviced there and all was well. During this past summer we had the car brought in for a service and to have the front hood micro switch repaired or replaced because the wipers do not work when the car is in reverse or park without this switch. We picked the car up to find that the switch was still broken. We asked the tech if it was replaced and he said they just sprayed it out and it was working fine. He lifted the hood and got the light to go out. We were charged 40 dollars for that fix. Later that day the light went back on. We called minuteman only to be put on hold and then promised to get a return phone call. Two days later and no phone call. We called back and the same woman on the phone didn't know who we were or what we were talking about. We finally get on the voicemail with the Service manager and no return call. We called again to leave Mr. Berfield a message and no return. The bottom line is that they charged 40 dollars for something they didn't fix. I would have been happy to pay whatever the ridiculous high price they might have charged to replace the part as long as it worked. We bought the car and faithfully paid them to maintain it only to be blown off for 40 dollars. We already have told friends and family to avoid the dealership. In an industry that counts on positive referals I am suprised that our experience had to end this way. We have never written a bad review like this before, but we do not like being ripped off and then ignored by grown adults that are being paid to do a job. Do not go to this dealership!

Dereck was very friendly & efficient. We had brought our daughter's car for service . He pulled up the records from car registration, & told usThat there were 4 recalls on this car & Free maintainence too & none of them have been done so far.He booked an appointment for us to bring the car next day ,as it was going to take a while to do all the work. Following day , he was there with all the paper work ready for us. He called us twice to keep us posted on the Status of the car. Overall our experience was great . I would like to mention about your New Look ofYour Service Center,it looks great . I had a Passat & I used to bring my car there for Service . Now I have Subaru Legacy.

After visiting a few other dealerships, I went to Minuteman. My experience there was excellent. Ann and Sammy really listened when I told them what I was looking for and Sammy made every effort to accomodate my preferences. When I made my decision, Sammy and Juan, the manager worked with me to arrange a pre-sale check by my own mechanic and to have everything done in a timely fashion. I chose the car on a Sunday, and picked it up on Friday. I was a bit anxious, as it my first car buying experience. Sammy and his colleagues made it as low-stress as possible.

From the moment Bob Vigna greeted us in the new car area of the dealership, he proved to be the consummate professional.In responding to our many questions, it became obvious that Bob had in-depth knowledge of the various features of each of several cars we were considering, some new, some recent model used.That in-depth understanding was communicated in easy-to-understand language, while not at all talking down to us laymen!We were focused on purchasing a convertible, either a new Beetle or an EoS, most likely previously owned. We explained we'd both like to drive the cars and we'd want to experience them both top up and top down. Bob could not have been more accommodating, but hardly obsequious; he was simply ready to respond to any reasonable request we made as though every prospect always asked for the same things.When it became time to sit down to discuss bottom-line prices, we were still undecided which car we wanted, or what sort of financing to settle on. Once again, Bob took our indecisiveness in stride and helped us through the process. When, after coming to an "almost final" decision, and I telephoned my financial advisor, the advisor urged a third option, I'd not yet considered seriously. It was to purchase a brand new EoS, which was obviously the most expensive choice of all.This was not your typical green eye shade financial advice; it was based on understanding my history of not having purchased a brand newcar in over 20 years and having the financial wherewithal to comfortably handle the additional cost.Once again we were out in the new car area to select from among the new EoS models on the lot, two of which attracted us. And once again, bob helped to sort out the respective features of each and come to a final, final decisoin.Since I hadn't allowed enough time to actually accept delivery of the car that same day, we agreed to the following day and Bob was able to swing by my home to pick me up after a personal appointment.The overall experience was most satisfying. All sales folks could take lessons from Bob Vigna!

Service personnel were very friendly, and their schedule was very flexible. The drop off and pick up service was also very helpful. The only minor grievance I had was that I had to readjust my mirrors :) The dealership is also conveniently located near my place of work.

Derek was incredibly helpful in explaining what needed to be done, keeping me informed throughout the process, and in general just providing excellent friendly service. I did not interact with too many other employees direclty, but everyone was friendly and helpful and the car looks great. Came in to see a 2012 Jetta GLI I found on your wed site. Ann contacted me about setting me up to test drive the car. She set up a time that was good for me , she was extremely friendly on the phone and she followed up the day before the appointment and was always extremely courteous. When I arrived at the dealership they set me up with Sammy to show me the car. Sammie was extremely friendly and helpful, we test drove the GLI and another car I wanted to look at. I decided to go with the GLI and Sammy sat down with my wife and I to try to come to a deal. Sammie explained everything we wanted to know. Over all this was by far the best car buying experience I ever had. I would highly recommend to anyone who ask that when there shopping for a new car that they go to Minuteman VW.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Minuteman VW has been to work with. I would reccomend this dealership to any of my friends or family. Jennifer Long was completely upfront about the price of my new car and gave me a good price. Eric was kind, knowledgeable and honest throughout the process. He even followed up after purchasing the vehicle. Juan Banos the general manager was great and gave me a fair deal on my trade. Shirley filled in while Eric was out on the day I picked up the car and was so helpful with the paperwork. I am so lucky to have found this dealership. I went to TWO other VW's (Medford & Wellesley) and they over quoted me on a new car and underoffered on a trade. They also were incredibly rude and aggressive. Please go to this dealership. I LOVE my new Beetle Converitble so very much!!

Difference btwn average and excellent, is attention to detail. On my 1st service check-in No one was present at the service area check in, I did the wait and wander around, then some one yelled at the wayward desk attendant.That's poor all around don't yell at your employees in front of customer. Waiting area was pleasant and clean coffee was free and well stocked, excellent! Service was quick and I was out the door in under 45 min. Excellent ! a post service inspection of my car revealed the car had been washed and my foot mat cleaned, nice touch however when I popped the hood and looked in the filter service area oil had beed spilled on the motor and soaked into a covering on a cooling tube near the oil filter cover this will degrade that protective covering and accumulate dirt now, which on subsequent oil changes could fall into the filter housing additionally as the oil heats up it wills create a smell. This could have been avoided by placing a shop towel in this area . That's being lazy in my opinion. While the service was free if it can't be done right I don't want it, I expect better from Volkswagen AG.respectfully,G. M. Bell

Just bought a new VW at Minuteman. Its a long story but lets just say I made some mistakes and screwed up the transaction and it could have cost me an additional $1500 and Minuteman could have profited by my mistake. Instead of taking advantage Ray the general manager got involved personally and help straighten out the transaction. My wife and I are both very happy with the service we received at Minuteman. I owe then one in fact I owe them 5 I told Ray I would send him five customers so go to Minuteman see Ray his sales manager Juan and our sales person Shirley and buy a car from them. Did I mention I got a really good price on the car.

I live in NH , but made the 50 minute trip down to Minuteman because no other dealer could beat the price. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and the dealership networked with my local credit union, so it made everything easy with one stop shopping !I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Derek has helped service my car several times in the last year and I can't recommend him and Minuteman VW enough. My car is an older model and was not regarded with disdain. The price pretty much came in at the estimate. The repairs were diagnosed and accomplished quickly and without any secondary problems arising whatsoever. Just want to say GREAT MERCHANT in every way for Minuteman.

Derek Liberty at Minuteman VW offered me efficient and comprehensive service. When I called he suggested the best to arrive so as to complete the service in as little time as possible. I enjoyed a cup of unusually good coffee as I waited. He gave me an update so I knew when the car was nearing completion. I have no complaints, except that the brackets holding the front license plate seemed to me very overpriced. This was not within the control of the dealership. I will return to Minuteman VW.

I was very pleased with Minuteman and in particular with our salesperson Raul. We loved the Jetta Sportwagen and they did not have the color in stock that we wanted, and he guaranteed they would get it by the end of the week -- and delivered (which is often not the case). You can tell he loves cars and sales, and he was so helpful once the car came in, personally going to the gas station so I knew how to fill up with diesel fuel. In all, it was a personalized and really good experience without some of the silliness (multiple waits and conversations with the manager) we have had in the past.

I went to the dealership expecting honest sales service as indicated by all the nice reviews. The negotiating process was pretty painless (Bob Vigna the salesperson was wonderful to deal with). Everybody was going to walk away happy at the end, however Bob was not too eager to point out the current 0% financing special they boldly advertised on the dealer website on pre-owned vehicles. I had to literally have him access their own website and point it out. Only then he "believed" me, then he had to go back to check with management and returned saying that it's only good for creditors in good standing and only for 36 months. I said, not a problem. I go in the next day to pick the car and finalize the transaction, he comes back saying that well the 0% is only good on 15K or less. I was shocked. They never disclosed that on the website, not in fine print or anything. I have no problem with fine print as long as it's there. At that point I felt quite disgusted by the whole process. I didn't expect this from a well established dealership. This is not a mom-and-pop second/third/fourth hand type of used car dealership. I had no problem paying the whole thing outright in cash, it wasn't about the money, it was about the false, dishonest advertising they practiced. The manager on duty, Richard McNeil, never bothered to stop by the sales desk even though he was on the room next door. Typically, managers do that, just to say Hi or something. I had to go and talk to him tell him how upset I was about their dishonest practices. Instead of apologizing he blamed the "3rd party" (i.e. Internet company doing their website) saying that they signed a disclaimer and you can't touch them w/ a ten foot pole. Instead of apologizing or at least trying to work out a solution, he and Juan Banos just simply started barking at me that you got a great deal on the car, take it or have a nice day (i.e. go f___ yourself!). So I did, having a great day f___ing myself. On my way home decided to call them back and offer them cash for the deal. I've already invested about a full business day in this, decided to cut my losses short and called Bob back that I'll return to do the paperwork. He said fine, come back and we'll do it. I get to the dealership, Bob meets me outside saying that in the meantime (about 5 min) his manager decided not to sell me the car anymore without saying why or anything. Again I had to walk into the managers office who didn't even bother to look up to me out of simple courtesy if not anything else. There were no other customers buying that vehicle. So basically lessons learned, don't believe the hype! I wouldn't be surprised if they sell their mother for $200. Small or big dealership, they're only there to screw you, treat you like dirt as if I was getting a Maserati for VW Golf money. Why should I trust them with my honesty when they can't offer that in return? I might overlook the whole false advertising thing if it wasn't for the circus of me returning thinking that we'll do a sale only to be turned away for no reason.

I have been using this dealership to service my Jetta for years now. They do a great job, and have always taken care of me. They even took the time to look at my car when I stopped in without an appointment. I usually wait for my service, but if you need a rental car just ask them and they will have one ready. I would recommend this dealership for all your VW service needs!

I needed to by a car in March of 2012 as mine had died. I went in and told them I was buying a car today and whoever wanted my business the most was going to get it. The 1st place I went to in RI, jerked me around for a couple of hours doing the whole cheezy car sale thing because they knew I was vulnerable and in need. When I came to Minuteman Volkswagen in Bedord, MA and met with Bob Vigna and later Juan and told them I was buying a car today because I've been in a rental for the last week, they at first did the good cop, bad cop routine, probably out of habit, but when I started walking out, they knew I was serious and the real negotiations began. They showed me the love and I felt like they wanted my business and they were prepared to do whatever it took to win it. My wife was flabbergasted by the experience and to be honest, so was I. I've since been in for 2 routine services and 1 light bulb change and have had an outstanding experience. There has never been a cheezy service experience. They're extremely professional. I love their uniforms and their communication system. The call & email to confirm an appointment. When you drop off your car a valet greets you, does an inspection of your cars body in case they cause damage, the consumer will have a record of what it looked like upon arrival. They give you 3 options while you wait: loaner car, drop off or comfortable waiting room with free hot beverages & cold filtered water, popcorn, free wifi, tv., the newspaper & magazines. There is comfortable seating & little cocktail tables for eating a meal if you're during one of those times. Their very good about repeating back what you're looking to have done for service, making sure you both understand each other. They tell you the price up front before work is started so you can feel good about it and agree to it before starting. They check in with you during the course of the work to keep you up to date. They explain everything in detail that happened to your car while it was serviced while reviewing the invoice with you. They also wash and vacuum your car before you leave which is pretty sweet. Again, they're super friendly, professional, it's comfortable, there's no cheezy sales pushes, the service prices are fair and my car runs great.Plus, they call & email the next day to make sure your experience was 1st class and provide you with a survey if you'd like to be a bit more private.I had never owned a German car or a VW before, but my Jetta TDI runs awesome. I have never had a relationship with a dealership before, but I am enjoying my experience with both the car and Minuteman Volkswagen and I would highly recommend both a VW Jetta Diesel and MM VW and I will strongly consider shopping with them 1st next time I purchase a car b/c of these experiences. I like them.

I am completely dismayed at the deceptive and unethical practice we were subjected to at minuteman. We were contacted to come in because you wanted to buy back the lease on our VW eos LUX. We had no intention of leaving the lease early and like everything about the car except the payments are high and we could be enticed to leave early , which is what we thought you were doing. Tim Bishop very patiently and politely showed us available options for new lease or buy but none was the right car with right options. Since the caller we spoke to ( ? safal)indicated you were still interested in a buy out of the lease because the car is in such demand, the next day my daughter went for comparison to a few other dealers and found a car that suits her for a much better price . We called back to ask if you still wanted the car and , let me remind you that minuteman VW asked us to come in , we did not in any way want a new car ..., led us to believe you wanted to sell the 2010 eos LuX we have on lease and led us to believe you wanted to buy the lease without penalty to us because you WANTED the car. We would never have come back to you had we realized that to basically give you the car we had to pay a $2600+ penalty. On the phone my daughter, who is pretty shrewd, was completely misled in this by your representative.I am a longterm VW owner. had every intention of replacing my current passat with a new one in the next year but the disrepect for our time and deception we experienced have completely soured me on your organization. I don't feel we can ever trust you to supply an honest deal. I feel this was a ruse to try to get us in to purchase or lease a new car early so you could doubly benefit, You have made us feel like fools, and wasted out time . This complaint is directed to management and should not reflect on Tim Bishop who was patient and was clearly equally a pawn in the scheme of yours. Had VW had a car that met our requirements we would have been fglad to buy from him. Trust and ethics of your good name should have been worth more than $2600. You are the losers. It is this sort of behavior that gives auto dealers such a bid reputation.

I regret now that I bought my GTI in 2006 from them even though did not have any issues with sales department. There was few recalls that I had to do so I took my car on a Saturday morning and I was driven back by them to my house since I only leave few miles and was told the car will be done in a few hours the service advisor was nice his name was Brendan. So I went there few hours later and the car was not finished but I told him I needed to take the car back, he said fine and told me to bring it another day and also included a complimentary oil change. Few weeks later I called to make the appointment with Christian Lahiff and told him would like to bring the car on a Saturday for the recall and needed a ride back....he was very rude to me and with an attitude he was telling me we don't have that service on Saturday's I said fine and thank you since I knew they have giving me ride back before.Couple weeks later I get a call from them and this time it was the secretary asking me to make an appointment I told her what has happened and I wasn't happy at all. She was very apologetic and told me we will get you a rental car and a complimentary oil change for the recall. So I went this morning and guess who was helping me Mr Christian Lahiff, I guess now the shoe is on the other foot. He started with the paper work and told me the oil change will be $74 I said you are wrong it should be complimentary (it wasn't about the $74 just the principal) and picked up the phone to call the rental agency, I stopped him and said give my key back and don't want to give you guys any business anymore and feel sorry that I bought the car from minuteman VW. I remember this kid years ago he used to be an apprentice there moving cars around and now moved up a step in his career and thinking he is capable of doing whatever he wants.

For several years I have had my VW's serviced at Minuteman due to their great service. I finally got smart and leased my next vehicle, the 2012 Passat SEL V6, from Minuteman and was very pleased with the process. I worked with Tim Bishop after having met him several months earlier during a service call for my previous 2009 Passat. The experience with Tim was great and he was very professional, responsive, and knowledgeable about the vehicle. I traded in a 2009 Passat and Touareg for my new Passat and have loved it ever since. It's the best VW I have owned in terms of overall driving dynamics and technology - they got it right with this car. Tim was great in delivering the car on time (actually a couple days ahead of schedule before a holiday)which was very much appreciated. I'd highly recommend Tim and Minuteman to anyone looking to experience the VW line up.

We were looking for a preowned car, Jetta or Passat,and could not be happier with the service we received at Minuteman. From the minute we walked onto the lot, Timothy Bishop greeted us and showed us many cars. We did several test drives and found the condition of the cars we drove to be impeccable. Timothy knows his cars and was able to answer all of our questions, even the quirky ones. When we decided on the Passat, it was then time to work with Harley on the extras. He was thorough and professional, answering all questions we had and helping us work toward a good, solid final sale. When we went to pick up the car, Timothy gave a wonderful review of it inside and out, again showing his in-depth knowledge and consideration for the customer. Harley even came by to say hello, too. I saw an ad for a used 2009 VW Passat on the minuteman website. After contacting the dealership, I was given a time to come down. I was already familiar with the service department at Minuteman, but had no experience with the sales department. I was introduced to Tim. Tim made sure that all of my concerns were taken care of and that I was completely satisfied when I left the dealer. There were quite a few features on the car that I'm sure I would have overlooked, but Tim made sure to sit down with me for quite a while to go over each and every part of that car. Much Appreciated!! After I decided to purchase, things worked out quite quickly, and I was a new owner within a day. Great experience purchasing my new VW '11 GTI at Minuteman. Bob Vigna was an extremely knowledgeable and professional sales consultant. I basically already knew the model I was interested in, but still he took the time to explain all the features, take me on a test drive, and explain all the options. At no time did I ever feel any pressure to buy. I had done extensive research at various dealerships, and Minutmen was able to be very competitive on pricing as well as give me a fair price on my trade in. Harley Easton in their business/financing office secured me an unbelieveable interest rate and explained everything regarding the financing options thoroughly. Being my first new car purchase he took the time to explain all the paperwork as well as optional coverages in a very honest manner without trying to push anything I wasn't interested in.It's great getting such an amazing vehicle and feeling good about the deal you made. I just caution anyone considering leasing a GTI...you won't want to have a mileage limitation, this car is so much fun to drive.

Unless you are a glutton for punishment, steer far far away from this dealership....there are other VW options in the area.My experience was a disaster on many levels. Communication between staff members and to the customer is truly sub-par.Expectations are set with a smile, but unfortuantely, you are just being set up for disappointment.The delivery of my new car was delayed (I was informed the day of and then had to re-configure my schedule), it was delivered with a scuff on the back (that I had to point out since there was no staff inspection to ensure it was in perfect condition upon delivery), but my FAVORITE part of the deal was the fact that I was told that my refundable $500 deposit would be put back into my checking account "upon pick-up of the vehicle." Simple concept. Well, it was not until I called 3 days later to let them know that I was still out $500 that something was done. However, instead of a refund, an ADDITIONAL $500 was deducted from my account, overdrafting my account (and it was the holiday shopping season). The process of rectifying this matter literally gave me a day-long headache and was a back-and-forth between my bank and the dealership...something that should have been taken care of immediately.All I got was a "sorry." I'm sorry, too, for having to affiliate myself with this dealership. Anything with the name Minuteman Volkswagen has been removed from my car.The staff are nice people, don't get me wrong...but miscommunication, negligance, and failed expectations are bad for business!!!! Sorry.

Our family's experience at Minuteman could not have gone smoother, or been better handled. In fact, the ease of dealing with them caught me so off-guard from the start that I had to step back for a moment just as we were agreeing to a deal to make sure the details were as good as I had thought (they were). My wife and I purchased a 2001 VW Passat from the now defunct South Shore Volkswagen 10 years ago, and the experience was not seamless. They improperly registered the title, so that there was frequent confusion every time my wife took the car to be serviced. When we were doing the paperwork at Minuteman, sales manager Harley knew exactly what had happened in that situation, explained that the problem was not so unusual, and showed us what he was doing with our paperwork to ensure that that annoying issue did not recur with our new purchase, a 2012 Volkswagen Eos. Our salesman Robert Vigna was responsive to our needs, always answered voice mails within a reasonable amount of time when he wasn't able to pick up the phone himself, and even stayed late one evening on a day when he wasn't scheduled to work to accommodate our family's schedule. Both he and Harley were very candid in our interactions, sharing information and answering questions without spinning it to Volkswagen's advantage or avoiding the subject if the topic was challenging. Bob even stayed late one evening on a day when he wasn't scheduled to work to accommodate our family's schedule. Or trade in and price on the new car were both aggressively figured, and I would not hesitate to buy another car form Minuteman or send a friend/family member/colleague there if the opportunity arose. Minuteman VW treats customers as well as any dealership I have ever experienced in my 18 years of buying cars. Good for them.

Worst dealership experience I ever had in last 20 years! No sales person came to me for 2 hours for an appointment that was made in the previous day!!I am a VW lover being currently owning a VW car. I setup an appointment with dealership at 1PM on Saturday, 11/5/11 thru Yan by talking to him on Friday. This appointment was specific for buying new 2012 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT SE W/SUNROOF TDI (VIN #: 1VWBN7A38CC009282) as advertised on their web site. After reaching the dealership at 1PM, I contacted Yan. I was asked to sit in the waiting room. After half-hour, Yan informed that he was still finding sales person for me, but he would arrange for a test drive. At about 2 PM, I was given a car for test drive. Still no specific person was attached to talk to me on my requirement and/or trade-in. After 10 minutes, I gave back the keys and again my waiting continued. After more than 2 hours, at about 3:15PM, I went to the manager and complained. The manager informed me that he was helpless because he took too many appointments but he had only few sales people. Within few minutes he sent a non-sales person from the office, who doesn't know the trade and was not keen to cut a deal. I left by leaving my cell number and my deal price for the vehicle. What a bad experience!!! I will think twice before visiting them again!!!!

I contacted several dealership before Minuteman. Most of them didn't impress me positively because of their aggressive attitude or for their lack of transparency.I contacted Minuteman at first through an internet site. I already knew the car I wanted and two Emails and one telefone call later we basically already had a deal.At the dealership I worked with Bob Vigna. He is very knowledgeable and has a very pleasant style. He and Sherman explained to me all the details and answerd my question. Steve Smith was very pleasant, accommodating and low key during the two visits to Minuteman where I test drove a Tiguan. Most important, he really knows the cars, inside and out and can demonstrate features, explain things and answer questions knowledgeably. On the day we bought the car, I decided kind of at the last minute to go ahead and purchase crossbars for the roof rack rails, figuring it would involve more time and another, separate trip to Bedford again if I did not purchase them that day. While we were waiting for my insurance company to fax their paperwork, Steve installed the crossbars for me himself, which turned out not to be an easy job, and wound up taking the better part of 45 minutes. Getting the rubber guard strips into the tracks proved extremely difficult, but Steve persisted and prevailed. He went way above and beyond what any other sales person would have done and in doing so, saved me money and hassle. He has a nice way about him, friendly, informative but not in-your-face like so many other people who sell cars. We look forward to buying a car from him again.

I was instructed to the service desk where I found Derek Liberty who processed the paper work for my Tiguan's annual maintenance visit. He was friendly,quick and efficient. He then led me into the waiting area. He told me it would probably be an hour and a half wait. I was pleasantly surprised when he came to get me in one hour with the work completed. From viewing the check list it appears that my vehicle had a thorough check up.

We recently bought a new Jetta TDI Sportwagen for my wife. Our experience at Minuteman was a good one. It is always a somewhat painful experience to go through the research, shopping, and spending involved in a new car purchase. Tim Bishop at Minuteman made the process as painless as possible. He was patient with us as we took our time coming to a decision. He answered all of our questions and, in general, took good care of us. There was the usual haggling over price, but we never felt pressured or rushed. During the delivery Tim worked hard to make sure all of our requests were met, and the car was delivered as promised. While we were waiting to take the car home we had a chance to talk with another customer who was waiting while his Golf was being serviced. He had nothing but praise for the service department at Minuteman. I was happy to hear that and look forward to excellent service for my wife's Jetta. I'm also looking forward to driving the Jetta TDI whenever my wife isn't using it. It's a great car and so much fun to drive.

I walked in today to pick up my Jetta after a simple oil change and one might have thought I had just I was picking up a brand new car! We worked with Nick Lamonakis in looking at new 2011 Tiguans and he listened to our 'must have' items, 'like to have items' and our pricing considerations. He was great to work with and I would definitely visit him again for my next car. Some of the key items I liked in dealing with Minuteman were: * Listened to what we wanted* No pressure, just thorough explanations. * Was willing to work with us on price to find a package that included the options we wanted without exceeding our desired price* Explained the various options available to us, but again in a no-nonsense mannerWe also worked with Harley Easton a Sales Manager and Lucas (the Nebraskan) in concluding our deal. Both were a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable. When it came time to pick up our car, Elena Novak stepped in to help with the delivery as Nick had gotten sick. She was very personable and did an excellent job reviewing the features of the car and getting me set up to drive away in my new car. I bought a laser blue 2010 Jetta TDI Cup Edition from Minuteman Volkswagen and so far the car has been awesome. It was a pleasure working with Steve Smith during the sales process. We went on several test drives in various VWs over a couple of month sales period including drives with my wife and son. During these test drives, he was easygoing, patient, and answered all of our questions in a friendly manner. He also gave us a decent break on the list price. The TDI was special ordered with a three month waiting period and actually came in a couple of weeks early which was a welcome surprise. The car was nicely prepped and Steve carefully went over the interior controls and satellite radio setup before I drove home in the car. Steve Smith really cares and rates 5 stars.Since the 2010 Jetta TDI hasn't had it's 5000 mile oil change yet, I can't comment yet on the service for the TDI. I have however over the years owned a number of other VW cars including a 1967 Bug, 1972 Bug, and a 1977 Scirocco. The last two of these cars I still have and I've spent some time over at the Minuteman parts department getting replacement parts for these cars. The parts guys were always super helpful and friendly in my dealings with some hard to get parts for these old VW classics. I also give them 5 stars for their patience over many years.

He could not have been nicer and truly listened to why I was at Minuteman and what I was hoping for.We discussed volkswagen's current leasing deals and we also looked at inventoryon the lot that would find me in a similar financial range for used cars.There were several really beautiful used cars and I with Nicks feedback on whatthe potential monthly rate would be and the upgrades that the cars had that Iwould be making a sound financial decision to go with one of the used cars.Nick's approach was very much attraction, not promotion and I truly felt thatNick was looking out for my best interest and in creating a relationship with Volkswagen. The car I selected (and bought) is a 2008 Jetta 2.5 and is a certified volkswagen. I could not be happier with the purchase. I love this car!Regarding financing the dealership went out of its way to make things work for me.There were a few financing hurdles and Nick handled that very professionally andtruly tried to make things work for both the dealership and my goals for my paymentamount that we had discussed. In the end I was able to drive away with the car Ilove, not just a "car for now" and a great feeling about volkswagen. I have a paymentI can afford and I am sure that I will refer people to both Nick and Minuteman.

Minuteman VW is terrific! I've leased several cars from this dealership and have always found the atmosphere to be friendly and welcoming. Bob was a great help in finding the right VW to fit my needs. He was patient and took quite a bit of time to thoroughly explain my options. Christian, in service, is always friendly and thorough. During service visits, he takes the time to make sure that I know what is being covered during each "check-up." I like that he makes sure that I don't have any concerns that aren't being addressed. While waiting, Christian will pop in to let me know the status of the service, keeping me informed so that I don't feel as though anyone has forgotten about me! I met Lucas, the sales manager, on this last visit. Even though I picked up my car at the very end of the day on a Friday (after an incredibly bad snowstorm!), he took his time explaining all of the coverage and service options. Lucas thoroughly discussed all the charges and paperwork. He was informative and explained things in a way that was understandable but not condescending. (And his Nebraskan accent is charming!)Overall, wonderful experience. I can't imagine going anywhere else!

Brendon in service has been helpful with some stereo and iPod glitches in the car. I'd recommend Minuteman VW for sales or service.

The three men very helpful and informative in the purchase of my new volkswagen. Steve took the time to answer my questions on the options and changes of the new 2011 volkswagen compared to my 2005. He went on to explain why some of the features were not on the new SE Model as opposed to the 2005 that were on the SE with Convience. Being that it's a choice it in no way took away from the attention to detail,safety,and performance of the vehicle. Harley assured me that whatever style, model and color I chose they would get it. Finally during the signing process Lucas took the time explain each paper and did not try to rush the process along while we mixed in light conversation. All in all it was a good experience.

I started taking my car to Minuteman VW for the service department despite it not being the closest VW dealer to me. Brendon has always been responsive and helpful in making sure that my car is up to date with all maintenance work needed, including advising if the maintenance work is critical or not-critical to allow time to plan for expenditures. I appreciate their hard work and timely responses.

I have been using Minuteman for services on my Passat for the past couple of years. Their customer response and service has been really fantastic. Their prices are reasonable and they do good work. Brendon Siefert is the rep. I call/email when I need work done my car; he is always professional, courteous, helpful and trustworthy. I would also like to commend the dealership's shuttle service and the personnel who run it - those guys do a good job and are professional and friendly throughout the drive. The one thing the dealership can do to improve on an already wonderful customer service is to provide loaners, if possible. Despite the shuttle service, this added service will be helpful for customers in managing their schedules better.

I met Elena at VW Minuteman shop and she's been doing the procedure very well.Not only as a sales person, but she also understood and read customer's mind.She made me comfortable in order to decide the car model and also arranged for the insurance company which I have to choose before I took my new Jetta.From one to ten, she explained me all about the car in details.Once again, I thank her, Mark and Lucas who were relaed with my purchaing.I definately recommend this dealer to my friends who may be interested in VW.

I've been buying cars since 1969. This was the smoothest, easiest transaction that I've ever made. Their initial price was reasonable including the 2001 Audi trade-in. Didn't have the usual back and forth haggling. Look forward to doing more business with Elena Novak, and the team.

I leased a Jetta TDI from Minuteman VW in late 2010. The sales person, Elena, was very friendly and patient as I asked a ton of questions. I got to test drive several different models before settling on the automatic black interior / black exterior. The paperwork went very smoothly and I got a good deal on the leasing. The thing I liked best, aside from the car itself, is that the people there didn't seem pushy or too "sales-ish".The car is incredible. I drove to upstate New Hampshire and decided to do an experiment. I drove 55 mph (in the right lane) with the cruise control on, and I watched the mpg average climb steadily, past 40 mpg, past 50 mpg, and it finally settled in around 53 mpg after driving for an hour at that steady speed.If you can get your hands on one of these cars, I highly recommend it, and if you can get it at Minuteman VW, you'll enjoy your buying experience.

I just purchased a 2011 Touareg hybrid from Minuteman VW. After three days I am even more impressed with the quality of this SUV and hope my one year review is as good. I had a 2004 Touareg V8 which I really liked and held up well over time. I felt that the service department at Minuteman treated me well over the years so that I was willing, when the time came to buy another car, to purchase a Touareg, from this dealership. (Of course, the good reviews of the new hybrid coming out of Europe and now the US (e.g. Motor Trend. US NEWS and World Report) certainly helped.)I thought the sales process itself went well. I appreciate the way Elena Novak, my sales consultant, dealt with sales process and the requests I made during this process. I told her I was considering other SUVs, such as the Cayenne and Audi, and I needed to have a chance to review how these vehicles compared on quality and price. When I was done looking at other vehicles, in about ten days, I was convinced that the Touareg was the right choice for me. Elena was supportive to me and clear about the sales process and helped resolve any issues I had. I found it comforting that VW had trained key people in the dealership in the hybrid and could answer my questions. I know the the quality of my experience with this SUV will critically depend on the service I will get in the future and I wanted a dealership that could handle this new hybrid technology. (Not all dealerships are created equal.)I feel that I was treated well by everyone I dealt with at the dealership. I felt that everyone I dealt with in the dealership was impressed with the quality of this new Touareg. They liked the car, like good car people should, and went out of their way to express their approval of the car and my buying it. What's not to like!I read hundreds of pages of the owners manual over the weekend. With such a hi-tech vehicle how about putting this manual as well as a a video of critical functions on a jump drive or similar device that has a search function? It also would help for the Touareg to have many more on-board computerized help functions to assist the new owner through the setup functions.

Even though Minuteman isn't the closest VW dealership to me, I heard great things and decided to take my jetta to be serviced there. The advisor who helped me was Stefano, he was very friendly, great at describing what my car needed, and straight forward. I don't know to much about cars but he was very knowledgeable and able to explain the work to me in terms i understood. The service was faster than i expected.I will definitely trust my jetta in their hands again, and would recommend minuteman Volkswagen to anyone in the area. The long drive i made to get there was definitely worth the service i got.

This service department is the most professional team I have ever encountered. The service rep, Christian made the entire process a breeze. He knew I was on a tight time schedule and he ensured that I was in and out in the least amount of time possible. To be honest, it was record breaking time on an oil change! He even managed to squeeze in a courtesy car wash! Very friendly, professional, honest, speedy and hassle-free service! I wouldn't take my VW anywhere else!!!

I purchased my 2008 Passat from Manchester VW and when they went out of business I needed to find a new dealership to service it. Working with them has been a night and day experience to what I was familiar with at Manchester VW. This dealership provides excellent service, very friendly, affordable and most importantly - TRUSTWORTHY. I drive from Manchester NH to have my car serviced there even though there are other dealerships much closer to me. I only wish I had purchased my vehicle from them, I probably would have got a better deal! I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. A++++

I've been going to Minuteman for 7 years now. I travel 20-25 miles each way passing over 3 dealers due to the excellent service they provide to my car. The pass 3 months I've had the same mechanic/technician Sao Koeun & my car is running excellent. I love the attention they give to me and my car and their pricing is great. My car and I love them!

I brought my car in for a window that didn't go up. They fixed that after 1 week of not knowing what was wrong. When I went to pick it up, they had broken my speakers and my windshield. Now they refuse to fix them. I've been hung up on and they refuse to give managers names. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Go somewhere else to have your VW serviced.

This dealer had a low mileage 2002 Jetta Wagon I found on the internet. When I came by, the salesman met me with friendliness and no pressure. The dealer was accomodating to a 3rd-party mechanical review of the car, even dropping it off and picking it up at my mechanic. They fixed the few minor items my mechanic noticed with no questions. Upon closing, the salesman actually came to my work to have me sign paperwork so the pick-up time would be even shorter. Afte taking possession of the car, 1 week later I noticed the front bumper was separating from chassis, so I sent the dealer pictures. They arranged the service, gave me a free courtesy car for the day, and fixed it with no problem or cost. This dealer is a bit far from my home town, but I would recommend them to people I know and when in the market for another car myself would make sure to include them in my search.

This was the best automobile sales experience of my life. I arrived prepared with what I thought was a fair value on my trade-in and what the price should be on the new GTI. Well taken care of by Steve Smith, got the deal I wanted from Tom Myers, and Esther Parks in the business office I now consider family. It all felt fair, comfortable, and hassle-free (and I'm thrilled with the car).

They have had a change of management. The long time knowable tech are all gone. The havw a bunch of kids working there. The service manager has a bad attitude. It's to bad that all the long time service people are gone and service has gone down hill. Seems like they have a bunch of inexpensive help there now.

Maybe they were particularly busy when I came in but the brake job took longer than expected. More significantly though, they missed the fact that a CV boot had torn and sprayed grease. Luckily for us we soon tried a local mechanic for an oil change to save time and he noticed and replaced the CV boot before the joint was damaged.

I recently purchased a 2008 Volkswagen GTI MkV from Chris at Minuteman Volkswagen. This was one of the best experiences I've had purchasing a car.First, the dealership is a smaller family-owned business. This translates into a very friendly low-pressure atmosphere where individual attention is paid to each customer. For me location was an important factor. The dealership is location near where I work and is easily accessible. Another important factor was prior experience. My father purchased a Passat from Minuteman in 2004 and also had an excellent experience both sales and service-wise.I called and setup and appointment for a test drive with Chris for later the same day, after work. He had a GTI equipped the way we had discussed ready and waiting for me to test drive. I test drove a manual transmission GTI first and then the DSG (S-tronic) version of the same car. It was clear during both test drives that Chris was completely familiar with and enthusiastic about the Volkswagen brand and the specifics of the GTI. It's always important to feel that your salesperson is knowledgeable about the product and he definitely exceeded that criteria.After that initial test drive I had a few other cars on my list to try as well. I did so and then returned to Minuteman with my father so that he could see the GTI I was looking at. Chris wasn't available, but another salesperson who recognized me from before greeted us and offered his help. I asked about taking another test drive and, although this salesperson had a customer arriving within minutes, we worked out an unaccompanied test drive. I was able to experience the car again along with my father and went on a 15-20 minute test-drive on roads that I drive every day. This ended up being a key factor in my purchase.I returned to the dealership days later when I knew Chris would be in again. I had a trade-in and though there is always some angst involved in decided where to draw the line between getting the deal you want vs. getting the car you want, Chris and his management worked with me and came up with a deal that I felt was reasonable. I ended up buying the manual transmission GTI I had now test driven a few times.I was able to schedule delivery for after work and the car was prepped and ready for me when I arrived. It was clean, shiny, etc. Delivery was indoors in a special area they have to do so, which was a nice change of pace. Chris explained everything to me and made sure I was all set to take my new car home. He also checked in with me later to make sure things were going as expected. I had to return to the dealership for a new registration and inspection sticker a few days later due to some delays with my insurance company. I was recognized and greeted well by the sales, management, and service staff.I would highly recommend this dealership. I would also highly recommend Volkswagen and the GTI in particular.

My wife and I picked up our car after a routine service (oil Change and loose wire). When we went to leave ther was a loud grinding noise coming from the front end. Two different people from service insisted there was no noise that they could hear, even though my wife and I could hear it from across the parking lot. Ralph said he couldn't hear anything out of the ordinary and went back inside. I will not bring my car to Minuteman VW for service in the future and I will not buy a car from them again. I have bought 4 new Volkswagens in the past and I am no longer a diehard VW owner basically because of the consistent poor treatment from VW Service departments.
