Purchasing our vehicles was pleasant. We didn't feel pressured. We were recognize from purchasing our other car. We were given a special rebate because my husband is a Veteran and there was some misunderstanding during the previous purchased and we were given another discount and received a new Fob that was lost for the first car. The Office Manager made himself available and we shared and he introduced us to the new Service Manager. The vehicle has so many bells and whistles and they have an employee whose job is to help set up them all up and show what all the gadgets were on the Menu. We spent a lot of time but it was so pleasant the whole time. I have recommended them to a friend.

I bought a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fa sport from Modern Hyundai of Concord. I am still driving it. I enjoy this car so much. I have it serviced at Modern and no one else has ever serviced it . I think that alone speaks volumes for Modern. Especially since I live in Salisbury and drive to Concord to get my car serviced. Seriously thinking of buying a new Santa Fa.

Gary Hairston, the salesman that day, really was patient with me during this visit. It was hard to know that I was going to be going into debt again for a new car, and I knew the things I wanted. He took his time to help me, and to show me my options. I was honestly surprised how kind, patient, and eager to assist us. Along with his knowledge base of the vehicles. This was my fourth Hyundai purchase over the years, and although, it had been 12 yrs since my last purchase. He made it an easy one. Not only Gary, but George in finance as well, really helped us in our decision. I apologize that I cannot remember the last name.

I have named my car "Cinca" (Spanish means 5). This is my 5th Hyundai-the 3rd from Modern Hyundai. They have always treated me well, whether in the sales department or the service department. I drive passengers in my new Sonata and everyone is so impressed with how roomy the interior is and how pretty the exterior is. I think I should get paid to hand out business cards to my passengers for the dealership! ;)

We were visiting our daughter and wanted to look at the Hyundai that my wife was interested in for a possible future purchase. We were greeted by Gary Hairston and he actually went through all the trouble of pulling out the vehicle that we spotted and then going through all of the amenities it had, all the while knowing that we were only looking. We thanked him afterward and went to the Nissan dealership next door to look at more. Afterwards we left and went back to our campsite we were staying at. We talked and discussed how pleasant Gary was and would like to take a test drive. But it was Sunday and we didn't know that the place was closed on Sunday. Disappointed we again went back to our campsite. On Monday we went to the dealership about a half hour before the place opened. As we were sitting there, the manager came out and asked if he could help. We stated what had happened on Saturday and he went in to get Gary to help. Gary was on a day off so he sent out Eddie Elrod to help. We explained that we would like to take a test drive of the vehicle we saw on Saturday. We took the drive and it was what my wife was looking for. We told Eddie that we had to be out of the campsite in 3 hours and to show us what he could do and could we make this happen. Eddie went to work. We were shown what could be done and given a choice of the financing possibilities. Bottom line is that we got what we were looking for and they met our needs. George in financing was also a very pleasant person to help us get through this process and all in under the committed timeline that we had laid out to them. This was the most pleasant time purchasing a new vehicle that we have ever had and at my age we have been through it numerous times. I would highly recommend this dealership and find that the four employees we personally dealt with are of the highest caliber of a positive experience anyone could get at a dealership. I just want to thank them all through this review and would highly recommend them anytime. If I need a vehicle of this type in the future, I would travel the 400+ miles to do this again.

Eddie Elrod was the salesperson who worked to find me a red Elantra with the features I wanted. Then I saw a shale gray one I had to have instead. I told Eddie and he just redid all the paperwork again, no questions asked. I appreciated that a lot. He took extra time with me to make sure I knew how to operate the complexities of this new car and I do enjoy driving it, especially being able to make and answer a phone call from the steering wheel.

This is an upgrade from my previous Sonata. Has the features I was looking for and the dealership was able to work with me for the best price and a lower interest rate. The only negative comment I have is my Blue Link service does not work the car will not receive the satellite signal and I am having trouble getting a time to bring the car in to have this rectified.

Me and my husband moved from another state and needed a new reliable car so we was not able to do a down payment so we decided to do a trade in man oh man was Ashley on it she called us and she even worked with us over the phone just to make sure that we wouldn't waste time traveling down there to get turned away...that wasn't the case approved right on the spot the next day we went In and got right to it .Ms. Alex took care of us and she was awesome as well made sure we had everything they worked with us...took our trade in and we left with a brand new car. I would recommend them to everybody and we was not in there all day.......Awesome place to get a car .

It appears to me that this is Allan result of the activities and management of James Welborne. There was a period of time when he was absent from the dealership which resulted in a decline of service and professionalism. Once he returned, things got back to the previous standard of excellence.

I bought a 2013 Genesis from Modern Hyundai in December 2015. It has been great vehicle and we love it. There were some brown spots that recently developed on the bumpers. I could not remove them with cleaner/wax. At this point I called Chris Blalock, service manager for Modern. He examined the problem and with no questions said "I'll take care of the problem". I left the car with him and in a few days Matt Kenney called and told me it was fixed and I could pick it up at my convenience. When I arrived Kris Johnson was very helpful in making sure the work was done to my satisfaction, and it was. I appreciate not only the quality and promptness of the repair the the bumpers but even more their professionalism and kindness to my family and me. Thank you, Chis and your service team for turning a problem into a pleasant experience. I will recommend Modern to anyone.

I began researching vehicles and submitted a request through TrueCar, Modern contacted me immediately and requested that I come out and give them a shot. I leased my previous Hyundai from LKN Hyundai and was skeptical about visiting another dealership whereas I typically prefer to deal with the same dealership. After LKN Hyundai left a bad taste in my mouth upon my visit, I decided to purchase my new Hyundai from Modern. The staff were all excellent and were able to beat the prices I gathered from other dealers. I love my new vehicle (2016 Sonata Sport), and I look forward to visiting Modern Hyundai of Concord for service appointments.

"I went into the dealership that afternoon needing a car, but I hadn't been planning to buy a car so I didn't know what I wanted except that I wanted a car similar to my Nissan Altima. Avery saw me looking at few cars in the front lot and came over to me and asked me if I needed assistance. I responded, ""yes"", and he helped me from that point on. He asked me how much I wanted to spend and what I wanted my payments to be. I also told him I wanted the same type of car. I liked my Nissan Altima because it was roomy. I did tell him I did want a Sonata many years back. He told me to get some lunch at the blue tent and by the time I came back he had a few Hyundai Sonatas to look at in different colors. I picked the venetian red one. We test drove the car, and I fell in love with it. He helped me with the financing to get it where I needed it to be, and he helped me set my Bluetooth and radio stations. I was totally pleased with my shopping experience."

I received several calls for items that I had already supplied. To use the family discount I was told to bring my wife's registration to the dealer. We did. I then get a call for a copy of our marriage certificate. I faxed it. I get another call that it is missing and I need to fax it again. There was also a mix up with the registration and title for the car I used as a trade -in.

Was very happy with the purchasing department. Dudley was able to get me the car I wanted and I thought I would leave happy. Once I left, the car started shaking extremely bad. I was informed by Kris Johnson that I would need all new tires because they were defective. He also insisted that I could drive the car, even though I was in extremely bad car accident the week prior and was very nervous about doing so. I had to follow up when the tires came in. I also had to follow up when the tires were put on. Absolutely no one called me to let me know. I was treated like crap once I bought the car from you all. I was excited until I dealt with the service department. Actually because Kris was so rude and none responsive I really wanted to return the car because at that point I didn't want to give you any more business than I already had. I should not have to be following up, especially when they know good and well that I am a good hour away from the dealership itself. Not to mention, I saw Kris when I returned the rental and he never apologized or even acknowledged me. If that is how your going to treat customers, I will never return nor recommend you all, EVER!!!!!

I went to Modern Hyundai again for my vehicle needs. This is actually the 7th vehicle that has been purchased by my family with Modern. I have used David Ash as my salesperson since day 1 and he has always treated me professionally. he listens to what I am looking for and always asks which features are important to me. He then presents atlas 2 vehicles for me to consider and encourages me to drive them both to help me feel comfortable in making such a purchase. Shelina did a great job presenting additional coverage and services and never once made me feel pressured to purchase any of them but I did purchase some in the end. The whole experience was another great one and I think the Modern Hyundai is an industry leader in no pressure sales

I would recommend the sales process that this dealer uses. I would recommend the SALEMAN again. GREAT SALESMAN AND SALES EXPERIENCE. But note that the dealership is lacking many of the little things that you expect from a car dealer. I do not feel that my business is appreciated. The little things that you can do to make a customer service experience enjoyable are lacking here. I admit that I have higher than normal expectations, but to forget my name within 5 minutes is fairly simple. And to follow through on your commitments is another easy win. If a customer ask to speak to you, get up from your desk and go meet the customer, dont sit behind a desk and wait for them to be shuffled to you. (NOT SPEAKING OF A SALES EXPERIENCE) Like I said before buying the car was a positive experience. They do need help on their marketing and not call me the day after and ask if I wanted to buy a car, like I did that yesterday. I was not pressured to make a purchase I was given the necessary information I needed to make a decision and feel that they gave me a great price. Service is a joke in my opinion and far from where they need to be, my prior dealer had a fantastic service department and I almost regret not buying one of their cars because their service department was so fantastic. Not the case here. Professionalism is not present.

If I could give Modern Hyundai of Concord negative stars I would! The WORST dealership I have ever delt with. They treated me like a child from the first time I walked in. I called the salesman who showed me a car the MORNING before I was supposed to come in and sign papers to buy the car, when I get there they told me they sold the car I was coming to buy the NIGHT before!! THEY KNEW I WAS COMING TO BUY IT AND SOLD THAT CAR RIGHT OUT FROM UNDER ME!! Apparently they didn't take me seriously so I bought a car exactly like the one I looked at at Keffer Hyundai where I was treated properly the entire time! I would never ever recommend Modern Hyundai unless you just want to get screwed.

Don't you just hate getting the same old experience from dealers these days? Take Modern Hyundai for instance. I get the same old EXCELLENT service every time I go there. My salesman Alan Parker gives me the same old OUTSTANDING service every time I work with him. I get the same old AWESOME follow up from ALL OF THE STAFF at Modern Hyundai. Kinda makes you want to stick with the same old HYUNDAI'S I have purchased 5 times there. His knowledge of the vehicles and ability to offer competitive pricing are what have caused me to become a Hyundai repeat customer. I am happy with my vehicles and the service that is provided to me when I have to bring my cars in for any services needs like an oil change, tire issue or even recently a cracked windshield assessment. The staff are all very polite but I am mostly impressed that Alan Parker takes the time to do thorough research and is committment to conduct any neccessary follow through. I never feel like I'm a second thought or he is rushing through any process with me. Thankful for a dealership that treats me like I matter.

We bought our first sonata 2 years ago, loved Alan Parker our sales accociate, Dimitri, our finance guy, so much we went back to buy another one for my wife. These guys do a great job, we recommended our friends daughter buy her sonata from Modern and Alan also. The guys in the service dept are also super helpful, friendly, and courteous! We purchased a 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport and we love it. After years of driving SUV's and Van we wanted a car that was dependable, good on gas, and stylish. I had read the reviews but took them with a grain of salt. After arriving at Modern we meet Dave Ash our salesman, we told him we were just looking but did intend to buy at some point. We said we wanted to try several make and models just look at what out there no problem. We also wanted to look next store at the Nissan dealer as well No problem I can help you there too. Well he was right we test drove cars from both stores. Dave was great! He let us drive, ask question he explained all the new modern tec feature so we could understand them. we took home a car for the night thinking we might buy it, but then after driving a few hours it just didn't feel right. So we brought it back and started over. Not once did we ever feel like they did not have time for all our questions and they never tried to push us into something that just didn't feel right. The sport had the feel we wanted, the gas mileage we wanted, the look we wanted and the dependability we wanted and the ride was smooth. No pushy sales pitch, no numbers game just good information and a honest deal. Just what we wanted ! Hard to believe we went from a 8 cylinder to a 4 cylinder and we still have the power! Two weeks in and I just had to fill it up 400 miles and still a 1/4 tank of gas. Can't wait to try this out on a vacation trip! Thank You David Ash and the Modern Hyundai staff!

Chante is the best!!!!! She was very patient with me. She doesn't use the usual pushy car salesperson practices, which I appreciated. I can't say enough great things about her. Ther finance dept, however, leaves much to be desired and they are the reason I may not do repeat business when my lease is up. There are several differences in my quote and my contract. I was also told by one of your finance managers that the State minimum for insurance was fine, but that was not the case.

Modern Hyundai in Concord is great. The dealership isn't too big but they have all of the different varieties of vehicles you would need. The staff was great and the financing and paperwork process took about 30 minutes which was amazing. I don't plan to ever go anywhere else.

When we arrived, we were introduced to Dudley Payne who patiently spent the next six hours with us as we inspected and drove three different vehicles. Both Dudley Payne and James Welborne were very professional, open and honest as they diligently worked with us throughout the negotiation process in order to provide us with the best deal on the vehicle of our choice. We are very pleased with our new Santa Fe Sport and feel that we could not have received a fairer price at any other dealership. This was by far the best new car buying experience I have ever encountered in my 50 years.From the professional sales staff (Alan Parker) to the sales floor manager (James Welborne) and the business manager (Anane Thabiti) I was treated with respect and got a great deal with no "haggling". I had been to two other dealers around NC the day prior and walked out of both due to them insulting my intelligence. The sad thing is one of those dealers I had purchased my last 2 Hyundais from and the sales person who I purchased those 2 vehicles from never returned my calls. I was basically told by the other dealers that I was crazy to think I could purchase my 2015 Santa Fe for what I felt was a fair price (as I had done extensive research on the web). From the moment I spoke with the Internet Sales Specialist, Staci Hopper at Modern Hyundai of Concord , and received my pricing from her, I knew I had found an honest reputable dealer that would stand behind their promotions and advertising. After visiting several local dealerships, I found this one to be the most relaxing experience. Everyone I talked with was very nice. Any dealership is going to want to sell you a car when you go there, but I never felt pressured to have to make a decision I didn't feel comfortable with. Negotiations were rather straightforward and in the end the price was good. I was very happy with my experience, and so far I am very happy with my new car. I cannot rate the service department yet. I purchased the vehicle last Friday and today is Monday, 12/8/1014. I did call service at about 8:30 am this morning to inquire why I had a red light on my dash. It is now 7:21 pm and no one ever returned that message that I left regarding what the lit icon meant. Beyond that issue, the purchase of the vehicle and the staff I dealt with were wonderful. The vehicle I purchased is far beyond my expectations. This is my first Hyundai, I have always driven premium vehicles and this one is great. I purchased the Sonata Limited and quite satisfied with it. I would highly recommend the dealership and their staff. The jury is still out on the service department after my experience of not receiving a call. The light is still lit on my dash and still waiting for a returned call as to why.

I did my research ahead of time and already was interested in the 2015 Sonata. The sales rep, Alan, was extremely pleasant and easy to work with - no high pressure or arm twisting. We looked over the large selection of Sonata's and Alan was able to explain the various options and styles and help us find that one special car. When it came to price, Modern was offering numerous incentives that brought the price and monthly payments down to our budget. We bought the car that very day. I recommend Modern Hyundai for anyone looking for a great car at a great price

The staff was friendly and listened to my wants and budget. They didn't try to persuade me to pay more or find a lesser car for the money I wanted to spend. The trade in process was painless (other than I'll miss the jeep) and fair. The service team was ready for my questions. The entire staff had extensive knowledge of the cars on the lot. They walk me through setting up the blue link, blue tooth and navigation. Gave me a short demo that included short cuts to the apps in the car. During financing they didn't attempt to sell me additional items or packages. I'm very pleased with the team at Modern.

Recently I was called and told about some specials and rebates on the new Sonatas, by Silas Parker the gentleman that sold me my other one. He was sincere and honest last time, so I thought, it can't hurt to see what they are offering. After a few hours of looking at different options and asking questions I decided on a beautiful black 2014 Sonata. Modern has the best prices around period! I traveled from Virginia so my daughter could purchase her first car. She would not have been able to afford her new 2014 Elantra Limited with the offers that dealerships in Virginia and other surrounding states were giving her. Modern was straight forward with their pricing and there were no surprises upon arrival. Everyone was extremely friendly, and knowledgeable from salesman, manager, to finance officer. David was really interested in what we were looking for, not just trying to sell the most expensive car on the lot with 100 options. David was informative, funny, not pushy at all. He also knew his stuff! Mom ended up with the exact car she wanted with financing that was perfect for her needs. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and relaxed. We looked at Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. Hyundai Sonata beats them hands down and we got a incredible price! My mom is 69 yo and she is saying this is the best car buying experience she's ever had! I agree! I went to Modern Hyundai of Concord to get the oil changed on my 2006 Hyundai. I was pleased with everything except the price I paid to have the cabin air filter replaced. I made the mistake of not asking up front what the charge would be. I had it replaced in Montgomery, AL four years ago and I thought the price then was a bit exorbitant ($20 for labor and $20 for the filter). The filter did need to be replaced, but not at a price of $70--$40 for labor and $29.95 for the filter. So I will not be paying anyone to replace the filter in the future. Either I will do it myself or it will just have to stay dirty.

My son had been shopping for a used car online and found exactly what he was looking for at Modern Hyundai in Concord, NC: a 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT. I contacted the dealer and in a mere two hours heard from their Internet Sales Rep. She was quite courteous and we set up a test drive date the next Saturday. We met Trae Quick that day and he couldn't have been more helpful. We test drove the Challenger, bought it, and during that process Trae asked my plans for MY car. No plans. It's paid for. I like it. Before long, he had me test drive a Honda Civic, which I was dead-set on...until he suggested I drive the Hyundai Sante Fe Sport. I fell in love with the "MacDaddy" of 'em all. There were so many features that Trae told me about that my head was spinning; however, the best was the overall safety rating. The next best was the overall value! Needless to say, I was sold: hook, line and sinker. There were two happy customers driving home to Greensboro from Concord that day. No sales remorse, whatsoever. It's always interesting when I go to a dealership specifically looking for manual transmission, but Modern had an Elantra GT in stock with manual, and gave me a fair price without any hassles. The finance manager, Anane Thabiti, walked us through all of the documentation required, explaining everything clearly and completely, and made the financing go very smoothly. My experience with Modern Hyundai is very interesting. I brought a car from them 2 years ago and decided to trade it for a newer model a couple months ago. Well the new car had a problem. There was a strange sound coming from the car and they didn't know where it was coming from. The service department worked with me for 2 months and still couldn't find the problem. David Ash was my sales person and I stayed in touch with him. He assured me everything would be ok. Well I went back to him after making a few trips and he was able to get me out of that car and into another one that's not making any sounds and she's running great. Best place to go to buy a car, they worked magic while I was there. I was upside down in my car (alot) I had a minimal down payment and they still got me into a brand new sonata for cheaper payments. We showed up at 6pm the banks closed at 6:30 they closed the deal in 30 MINUTES. I cant stress how hard Jim and his associates worked for me. They got me into a brand new car with little money down and saved me over $100 a month in payments with GAP insurance thats insane!!!! My husband and I were interested and looking for a used car. We found this dealership online and came from Greensboro to see it. We had originally come for a different car but ended up falling in love with a car that Mark showed us. We decided we wanted to keep looking just to make sure we were comfortable with it. We went to one other dealership and hated it. The other dealership was a big volume one and treated us like a number and didn't care if we actually got what we wanted. So we decided to go back to the friendly, reasonable people over at Modern Hyundai. We spoke with Mark again as well as the Manager and said we were on our way. They held the car for us so no one else would buy it. We arrived and test drove it once more. Mark was wonderful! We had so many questions and he was calm and understanding through it all. The manager was wonderful as well. He really worked with us so we felt good about our big purchase. Overall this was an amazing experience. I was worried about dealing with salesmen and having to deter them over and over again but they weren't like that. Mark and the other people at Modern Hyundai really cared about wether we got a car and were comfortable with the one we got. I would definitely recommend this dealership to everyone. My husband and I were interested and looking for a used car. We found this dealership online and came from Greensboro to see it. We had originally come for a different car but ended up falling in love with a car that Mark showed us. We decided we wanted to keep looking just to make sure we were comfortable with it. We went to one other dealership and hated it. The other dealership was a big volume one and treated us like a number and didn't care if we actually got what we wanted. So we decided to go back to the friendly, reasonable people over at Modern Hyundai. We spoke with Mark again as well as the Manager and said we were on our way. They held the car for us so no one else would buy it. We arrived and test drove it once more. Mark was wonderful! We had so many questions and he was calm and understanding through it all. The manager was wonderful as well. He really worked with us so we felt good about our big purchase. Overall this was an amazing experience. I was worried about dealing with salesmen and having to deter them over and over again but they weren't like that. Mark and the other people at Modern Hyundai really cared about wether we got a car and were comfortable with the one we got. I would definitely recommend this dealership to everyone. We had a wonderful experience!

My experience with the Sales Man was great. The finance guy was cool too. However the sales manager did not give a fair assessment of my trade and because of this i ended up in a lower class vehicle than i intended to purchase. I feel like i was fatcked in the end. I traded in a vehicle i paid 18500 for with a payoff of 20100. I was given only 16k on the vehicle, so that balance was added to my loan. You guys list the vehicle for sale for 19500 and certified it too. I feel like your management pulled a fast one on me. I like the hyundai vehicle, but at this time i can't recommend your dealership because of this experience. Not only was the above a problem, you guys have not even payed off the original loan and it is now day 10. In my attempt to become a loyal hyundai customer, your sales manager has soured the experience.

I needed to get my car's wheels aligned before a long trip, but was originally told the first available appointment was the day I had to leave, so I didn't make the appointment. Within a few minutes I received a call back saying they would accommodate my schedule, and the service department worked my car in to their schedule that afternoon. I am very impressed with this type of "second mile" service, and it gives me one more reason (I have many) to brag on the Concord Modern Hyundai Team! God bless you!

I bought a used Hyundai last month from Modern and the buying experience was exceptional from start to finish! And this week I wanted to get my new tires aligned before leaving on a long trip, but there were no appointments available till the day I need to leave, so I didn't schedule one. However within minutes I received a call from Modern saying that they would fit my car in. And they did, that very afternoon. I bought a White 2013 Elentra on saturday. Allen was great person, he did not try to force me in buying anything. The attention was great so great that on Monday I when back to trade my 2012 civic with another Elantra. Allen was no there been that it was hes day off, so Jim assited me. Once again a great sales person he work with me and help me to get the best offer on a new Red 2013 Elantra. I was so satisfied with both sales person and everyone in the dealer. Overall this was a very positive car buying experience. All of the team members we worked with were very friendly, and not in the typical "used car salesman" way. We were able to work out many of the details of our purchase in advance of even showing up at the dealership. The web site and sales team supporting it are fantastic! I wish the process (test drive and paperwork) didn't take quite so long, but in every way imaginable this was the best experience we have had at a car dealership. I had been going to Modern Hyundai for service for quite a while and was very happy with the service department, so when I was looking to buy a new car, it was natural to take a look at their dealership. The sales guy I worked with was Jim Morreli and he was very laid back and listened to what I wanted with absolutely no pressure. He let me make my decision in my own time (about 3 weeks) and did not call me every day as I expected. He called me exactly when he said he would. I finally decided what car I wanted to purchase and when I went to pick up the car and sign the paper work Jim was out of the office, but he called ahead of time to let me know and that he would be back before I left the dealership, which he was. Dimitri in finance was great and explained everything completely. Overall, I had a great car buying experience at Modern Hyundai and would recommend them to anyone who is planning on purchasing a new or used vehicle. You will not be disappointed!

I originally went to Lake Norman Hyundai, in response to a great deal I recieved in the mail. When they could not honor the deal they treated ME like a lower class citizen. They didn't even attempt to sell me a car! Their loss! I went to Modern Hyundai of Concord on my lunch hour and was met by "Joe!" What a nice guy! He conducted the transaction in the order I needed, got all my paperwork together while I was at work, and had my new car detailed, full of gas, and ready when I was able to return to the dealers! They spent considerable time with me explaining the features of my new vehicle! Lake Norman Hyundai's loss! I financed a lot more than I was prepared to at their lot, and walked away with not only a great deal, but a great new loaded vehicle and a great experience!OH, and the loan officer? By the time I got back to sign the paperwork, Amina had gotten me the best interest rates offered and was a pleasure to work with! Lake Norman Hyundai? These guys could give YOU lessons!

Mr. Silas Parker ,our salesman, was wonderful throughout the five day process it took to locate a Tucson the color we wanted.We were impressed with the courteous and polite service Silas and everyone else at the dealership gave us.Trading a car for a new one is truly the beginning of a customer relationship. However, service is what brings them back. My wife and I bought a new Honda in 2003. For 10 years, we got all the service work done where we bought the car( thousands of dollars). We went to trade and the honda dealership was busy and they did not treat like the 10 year valued customer we were. So, because our son-in-law bought a Sonata from you and also, our neighbor bought a Sonata from you, we decided to come and look. From the time Silas met us, he did not pressure us. Instead. he was very helpful and was nice to us. You know, today in our rush about world, it sometimes pay to slow down and be genuine to people,which is what Silas did. Modern Hyundai did a very nice job with this transaction. They were not pushy and we didn't do the traditional back and forth between sales person and sales manager... I hate that because I do large IT deals ebvery day and we don't do that foolishness... we negotiate on real terms.This was a positive experience even though I think the cost of the product is higher than the actual value of the vehicle but I am not sure which entity sets the pricing.In any event, this was a positive experience and I would recommend this dealship to others.

Paul Polish took care of me. I wanted something bigger than my Toyota Camry so I looked on the lot and narrowed it down to a Tucson or a Santa Fe. I fell in love with the Canyon Copper Santa Fe in the showroom. After about a week of looking, talking, etc. I bit the bullet and purchased it. I love the space, the look, and the price was great compared to other SUV's on the market.

My car had been totalled in a wreck, so I HAD to buy a car. I truly dreaded shopping and negotiating for something I knew so little about, so I started by researching cars on the internet. I found a car that sounded perfect for me, so I drove 100 plus miles after work to test drive it. The salesman was truly nice, and the others at the dealership were just as easy to work with. They stayed late to complete the paperwork, and the salesman came in on his day off when I returned to pick up the car. No pressure, no surprises, just great personal service and an honest good deal. The car is as described, and I'm delighted. I recommend them highly.

Great folks to work with! After shopping many dealers, Modern came up with the best price on exactly the car we were looking for. The Internet contact and nour salesman, Eddie Elrod, bent over backwards to accomodate us. When a minor problem arose, the two managers jumped in and made sure we were treated fairly, and compensated us for the error, to the point of filling the tank on our car (we didn't trade in) in addition to the full tank on our new car. Overall it was a very pleasant experience for Myself and my wife.

After shopping many dealers in town, Modern came up with a great price on exactly the vehicle I was looking for. They even filled my other car (I didn't trade in) with gas because I had driven so far to get to this dealership. Tiffany, the Internet sales person was helpful and pleasant, and Eddie Elrod, our salesman bent over backwards to see we were taken care of. Well I'm really going to be honest here because I would want someone to be honest with me. My visit here has been very confusing. Things are not very communicated well also there were too many secret behind scenes. I first initially had an appointment on a saturday morning to see a 2011 Hyundai sonata, long story short I could not get the vehicle. So we tried for something else. The banks said I was approved for one amount still couldn't get the vehicle. I left. Monday comes the dealer calls and says he im sorry you were really approved for this amount, lets see what we could do now. He says I know you can get a car now. He ask me to go on their website and look around. I did i found a vehicle that was way less than what i was looking for. Dealer says ok yea that will work you can get that. Great im happy everyone happy, the dealer wasn't working the next day so i asked him to hold it for he says OK. Two days later I get a call from the same dealer saying sorry that vehicle is not going to work either. So just too many games and tagging along not a happy customer here ust be sure to get a salesman with experience.

He was very knowledgable and there was NO PRESSURE at all. Also, there was no running back and forth, negotiating, wasting time. Paul was completely honest up front. I appreciate honesty and respect. I felt that with this team of sales people! Jerrold Barker was very helpful in explaining the leasing process. He was able to educate me on the ins and outs of the leasing world and it makes complete sense to me now! Nice, friendly, helpful staff. Our experience dealing with our salesman Paul Polish, General manager Donnell Wilson and Finance person Anane Thabiti (who by the way was his 1st week of doing finance and he did a great job) was an easy and pleasant experience. At 50 years old, I just purchased my FIRST NEW CAR, a 2012 Elantra Limited...and I am still grinning! The entire crew at Modern provided excellent care and customer service from the minute I arrived, (in a rental car after my old car suddenly died) until Larry closed my car door and I drove off the lot. There was never any pressure or feeling of being rushed. Donnell and Larry made me feel as though they had all the time in the world, being incredibly patient with me while I was wandering around the lot, and test driving. Donnell and Dimietri were great with financing, and helping me to make sure I was making a choice I could afford, AND with the best interest rate. It was truely a JOY to meet this fine team of individuals at Modern, and I not only have a new "car guy," but a whole team of car guys, who I can't thank enough for showing me the respect and extreme kindness that is sorely lacking at other dealerships. I was introduced to Jason in the service dept. who will being doing my first 1000 mile check, first free oil change,(...so long Jiffy Lube!)and all of my car maintenance needs. Thanks to Larry for coming in on his day off, for meeting me at the rental car place in MY new car, (...so long Enterprise!)and for showing me every single button, switch and knob and how it all worked. They even paired up my iphone to the bluetooth and taught me the navigation and XM radio system. (I AM a blonde afterall...well kind of!)I couldn't be more impressed with Donnell's professionalism, warm smile, and for making me the special "sold" sign and picture. I now look forward to seeing these wonderful people again when I return for maintenance, which I used to dread! There aren't enough words, and there isn't enough space to express my gratitude to these fine folks at Modern Hyundai, for helping me feel safe and secure in my new Elantra,.... and knowing I no longer need to fear getting stranded in an old car again....priceless!

My experience at Modern Hyundai was excellent. We arrived late to the dealership and they stayed until we worked out a deal that was to our liking. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and polite and never pressured us for a sale at any point. Everything was explained to us and we felt confident that we were getting a fair deal.

I just bought a 2012 Sonata Limited 2.0T from Modern Hyundai of Concord, this is my second purchase from them. Both experiences were the same. Sales people who are interested in helping you find the right car and the right deal, no pressure, no games. Franchesca was great, she know about the cars, was obviously excited about the brand, and treated my family and I like close friends. The deal I was given was about as good as I can ask, and the paperwork was quick and well explained. They have earned my business twice now and I am sure they will again.Thanks!

I would highly recommend this dealership and especially working with Donnel and Danny. They were fantastic in working with me and even helped entertain my kids while I decided on my purchase. Donnell even had Chick-Fil-A brough in so my kids could eat dinner. They were amazing! They whole staff was very friendly and I've never had such a wonderful car buying experience. I'm a single mom of two children and highly recommend this dealership.

I walked in and was greeted at the door by Pat, I spoke, he listened and within a couple of hours I walked out with a brand new loaner. The following afternoon Pat called me to let me know my new 2011 Santa Fe had arrived. I went back and was greeted again at the door by Pat and Donnell, the Sales Manager. Buying a car is stressful but I actually had some fun this time. Everyone at the dealership was very nice even though I was Pats customer.

The leasing of our new Hyundai Sonata was probably the best experience my husband and I have ever had when acquiring an automobile. Our salesman, Paul Polish, was friendly, polite, and very professional. Paul was very patient with us as we finally decided which car we wanted and whether we would buy or lease. The manager, Donnell, worked hard to find the color car we wanted at another dealership. When we filled out all our paper work everything was explained thoroughly and taken care of in a timely manner. Paul has continued to keep in touch to make sure we are still happy with our Sonata. I have no doubt that if any problem should arise it would be taken care of without any hassle. I am the other half/recipient of a new Sonata purchased 5/10/2011 by Weymouth Jones.Upon parking at the dealership, we were greated by Paul. Paul patiently and attentively listened to my husband explain what happened and did not happen at a different dealership. My name is Weymouth Jones and i would like to commend the staff and management of modern Hyundai. Modern Hyundai was not my first choice for the purchase of a 2011 Sonata SE for my wife. I had a firm offer with Lake Norman Hyundai and was commited to making the purchase with them, but on the day of the purchase they backed out on the deal stating since gas prices have gone up, they were not going to make the deal. My wife sugggested we go to Modern Hyundai, upon arriving at Modern, we were greeted by quite an interesting salesman by the name of Paul Polish. I explained the situation with Paul about how Lake Norman Hyundai backed out of the deal, and informed him how disappointed we were that they would turn away someone who was paying cash and, I only wanted the deal they promised earlier. After discussing it with Paul, he said he would see what they could do. after speaking with Paul, and speaking with Brad Logan we left the dealership with a firm commitment of making the purchase. Needless to say we drove our new Sonata Home Tuesday Night. All of the staff treated us like a customer would expect to be treated when making a large purchase. All we wanted was the deal we were promised and Modern Hyundai worked crunched the numbers to make the deal and have gained a customer. I have not only told my friends about the deal made by Modern Hyundai, I also tell them about the way i was treated by lake Norman Hyundai! Thanks again guys next on the list, the Hyundai Genisis!

Modern Hyundai of Concord is the total package, from salesman,to managers, to the service department.They go above and beyond the call of duty, I just left my new 2011 sonata with them for service and was given a loaner.They(Modern)pulled my baby's carseat out of my car and put it in the loaner,I pulled up at 7:30 and was driving out of their lot by 8:00. They are courteous and helpful,from buying the vehicle to servicing the vehicle.This is why I would recommend Modern Hyundai of Concord to anyone and everyone!! Keep up the GREAT work.
