Modern Toyota made the buying process smooth and painless. I shopped around various car dealerships in Southeastern North Carolina but Modern made the deal worth driving four hours for my Camry. It is absolutely perfect and the staff, especially Lori and Kimberly, were so helpful and friendly. Kimberly got me the deal I wanted and Lori made the paperwork process smooth. Lori also did a great job of explaining all of the features of my new car to me. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

I went to Johnson city toyota to by a 2016 camry, from the start I didn't feel like they were being honest. They gave their numbers on the car and I felt like it just wasn't a honest deal...i called Antone at Modern Toyota of Boone and from the start he earned my business. There were a couple of discrepancies in the price which he fixed right away without hesitation and he gave me 2500.00 more for my trade then Johnson City Toyota and sold me the Camry for 1000.00 less than Johnson City Toyota. It was worth the drive from Virginia to Boone for 3500.00. I strongly recommend anyone that goes to the Toyota dealerships in the tri city area to make sure they call Antone at Modern Toyota of Boone before they buy, I'm almost 100 percent sure he can give them a better deal. I guarentee all of my friends and family will become customers of modern toyota of boone on their next vehicle purchase....Thanks again Antone you definitely earned 5 stars....

I stopped in to see what used trucks they had but realized for a few dollars more I could drive away with a new truck. The 2015 Toyota Tundra XP SR5 was exactly what I was looking for. John Greene was a newer salesman but his courtesy and the assistance from other salesmen/ladies was outstanding. If you live within a 200 mile radius of Boone NC, looking for a new or used car/truck, it would be worth your while to contact Modern Toyota of Boone. I'm very pleased with my new Tundra! I am looking to buy a new Toyota ASAP. I have a 2011 Honda trade in, but I live 180 miles round trip from the dealership. I needed to know a ballpark estimate. The Sales guy said no figure will be given, not even a range. I told him I cannot drive 180 miles without some idea of the trade in value. The car I have has 49K miles and senior owned (creampuff) So off I go to my local dealer who sells cars at MSRP.(ouch) but told me the trade in is worth 10K if in excellent condition.

We have never purchased a vehicle so easily! We had already test drove a similar vehicle (2 years older & 6,000 more miles on the odometer), so when I found this almost new Certified Pre-Owned vehicle on their lot, I sent a message via their website inquiring on whether they would come down in price to closely match the older vehicle we had already test drove. After a few emails back and forth, we decided to drive the 1.5 hours to their lot to finalize the purchase. About an hour later, the Sales Manager called me and offered to have the vehicle drive to my house free of charge! Five minutes after we arrived home after work, 2 older gentlemen drove up and after a quick look through and signatures, the vehicle was ours!! What a fabulous experience I will never forget! More importantly, Modern Toyota of Boone gained a client for life! Kudos for going above and beyond!!

I am thoroughly enjoying my new Tundra! I just replaced my 2001 Tundra with a new 2014 Tundra, wow what a big difference! It's a fantastic truck. It maneuvers as good if not better than my Mini-Cooper which is hard to fathom considering the size difference. I am equally pleased with my buying experience at Modern Toyota of Boone. Their truck inventory & the competitive pricing made it an easy choice to drive to Boone versus shop at one of our local dealerships within the Charlotte NC region. The guys I dealt with were very hospitable. I appreciated the fact that it was a no-pressure buying experience. Jeff did a great job of helping me become acquainted with my new truck and all it's features. Wayne, Jeff & team are to be commended on the attention given to customer care and satisfaction and as a result I will not hesitate in recommending your dealership to anyone I come across in the market for a new vehicle.

The initial customer service when you walk into the door is very poor - receptionist is busy visiting w/other employees. Josh was excellent in getting the ball rolling by recognizing me & getting the repairs started on my car. The new facilities that are being built will definitely make it easier to access the dealership - looking forward to that opening.

Purchased a new Sequoia July 5, 2014 and got a great deal! Saw the vehicle on cars.com and drove from Knoxville, TN (3 hours) to purchase the vehicle. Paul and Jeff and the entire team were great! Very helpful while not overbearing or pushy. They made certain the vehicle was clean and ready to go, including a full tank of fuel. They trained us in very clear and concise terms how to use all the many features of the vehicle. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. My local dealership is good, but these guys were over the top, plus had a great price. If you can combine your purchase with spending some time in Boone and the surrounding area, it would be the perfect outing.

Prior to coming to Modern Toyota of Boone, I had been researching potential new cars for 18 months. I was actually out of town when I checked their website and contacted their sales department. When I came home and visited the dealership, Zack and Jeff were personable, professional and made the entire process easy and enjoyable. I am thrilled with my new Camry and look forward to my future dealings with the dealership.

I bought my new Venza via email. I requested information and a price and got exactly that. There was no high pressure sales or haggling. We negotiated through 3 or 4 messages and agreed on accessories and price. When the vehicle was ready for pickup signing papers was quick and efficient. The saleswoman spent almost 3 hours with me going over all the features in the car since there were so many electrical/computer functions. I highly recommend Modern Toyota.

I have had a long running service and purchase history with this Toyota dearship. Recenly had four tires and an alignment on my Venza. Great service from Todd and a very high appreciation over the years for the consistent quality of work from their service and parts people. In my opinion and experence with dealerships , I must conclude that they are the best of best. Thanks guys !!

I have a 2006 Prius that has been a delight since I bought it from this dealership in 2006. Recently it acted strangely to me. I sat in the car for about 10 minutes listening to the radio after I turned off the engine. Once I stopped listening, turned off the accessory mode, and opened the door to get out, the car started beeping. I couldn't see anything that had been left on, so I closed the door to see if the beeping stopped and it did. I went away and left the car all day. That afternoon the car wouldn't start and did all kinds of weird things with lights on the dashboard. I waited about an hour and tried to start the car again and it started right up. The next morning I called Todd at Modern Toyota and told him about my car's odd behavior. He didn't seem shocked at all by what I described, and said it sounded like my 12-volt battery was getting weak. He didn't have any appointment times that day but said if I'd leave the car with him he would work it in. I drove over and the dealership provided a ride for me to get to work. That afternoon they picked me up again and brought me back to pick up my car. The entire experience was painless and comforting. I have my reliable Prius back again and couldn't be happier with Todd and the other members of the staff at Modern Toyota.

I just bought my 3rd Toyota from Modern Toyota Scion of Boone. I have loved each vehicle and have been totally satisfied with them. They have all been used vehicles but have all been in excellent condition and have never given any problems, just routine maintenance. I like the fact that Modern Toyota salesmen are all knowledgeable and friendly and do not use high sales pressure tactics. They know that Toyotas sell themselves and if I don't buy, the next person will.

This was the best new car buying experience I have had in over 40 years. Nash was extremely helpful with no pressuring. They asked a fair price and met the requests that I made. In the closing process they did not try to sell or add on any extras. I appreciated that tremendously. I definitely would recommend them and suggest you ask for Nash.

Things that are important to our family in a new car - reliability, safety, looks, high quality for a reasonable price. Things we don't like about the buying process - the run around, ridiculous prices, dealing with sales people, the pressure! We researched and visited MANY dealerships, and Modern Toyota of Boone was SO different from any of the places we visited. Wayne Downing was the first person we met on the lot. He didn't pressure us at all, patiently answered all of our questions, researched the perfect car for us, and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. We even invited dealers all over NC, SC and Virginia to beat Modern Toyota's price and they COULD NOT do it! The buying process was as smooth as we have ever seen - felt like you were working with close friends that you could trust - not like the huge dealerships with high overhead and too many employees.. Thank you Modern Toyota of Boone. We are so happy with our car and our service!

This dealership was pressure free and very accomodating to us. All of the staff was very friendly and by the time we left we felt like we were part of the family. We were honestly and truthfully dealt with and they allowed us to find this out on our own after speaking to other dealerships. I have purchased several cars in my life. My experience at Modern Nissan with fabian Escoto was the best such experience ever. He wen beyond being politeness and respect, he actually added value to the buying experience. He showed me how to save money in a way that did not adversely affect the dealership. He was very forthright and honest. I know because I did extensive research before speaking with him, and I visited other dealerships. I love my 2012 Juke CVT SL FWD. It accurately reflects the online research; both plus and minus. Thank God.
