After looking at several dealerships, and online chatting with Corinna Conaway, we decided to ride and look at your inventory. The 4 runner we looked at online, was sitting out front waiting for us to "inspect". Narvin Bayer met with us and explained the 4 Runner and purchasing vs. leasing. Honestly, we had just casually discussed trading, but after speaking with Corinna and Narvin, we were convinced now was the perfect time, and this particular 4 Runner was perfect for our lifestyle. We have already told friends this was the best car buying experience we have ever encountered, and we will absolutely visit Modern Toyota again, even being 45 miles away, Modern was definitely worth the drive!

There was a mistake made on the Out of Door Price for the amount $540. We had agreed to price for the car was $26285 which they had agreed to and confirmed, when I signed the final sale papers I missed the final number which was $26825 , so the #2 and #8 was reversed, I did not notice the problem until I got home and noticed the problem, I went back next day to the dealership and they refused to deal with the problem, very unethical sales team including the sales manger. I will not recommend this dealer to anyone.

Researched multiple dealerships, Modern provided everything we wanted in a car purchase experience.Had the car we wanted on the lot, make, model, exterior color and interior color. Service people Allison, Chad (Buster) and Brad provided excellent service, made us feel part of the Toyota family. We felt the freedom to ask questions at anytime and always felt important. One of the greatest services provided by Chad was to drive our new car out to our house the next day after purchase and set up no hands phone, voice activation other apps that are on the car. That was a great relief. Great price according to Consumers Report Web site pricing. Also have the extended warranty which I wanted. It covers just about everything on the car for 6yrs/100,000 miles. Worry free driving from now on. VERY BIG THANKS TO MODERN TOYOTA.

I went shopping online and found the pre-owned Camry model I was looking for. It had fewer miles than others and was priced very competitively.An online inquiry brought a response within minutes setting up an appointment to inspect the car.I was met at the front door by the sales manager and directed to a polite and knowledgeable sales person that escorted me to the auto. During the test drive, my wife decided this was the car she wanted. The deal was completed very quickly and we drove the car home.

My overall experience was very good. However, I wish I would of have had a better overview of lease vs. purchase from the salesman. I have never leased a car. I didn't obviously understand the concept, as I inquired about paying it off a couple of days later, and the price was approximately $7,000.00 more of purchase price. Also, I am most likely am going to be in trouble with regard to going over the 12,000 yearly mileage limit. Yes, the lower monthly payment was attractive, but I would/could have been more educated from Mr. Perry, salesman, with regard to the cons of leasing. I guess when I tried to do the pay off within a week of agreement, I had a bad taste in my mouth as if I had been "had". Suffice it to say, I regret not purchasing. And I will never lease a car again!

This was my first service visit to Modern Toyota and I was impressed. Rene was my service advisor and was helpful in taking my service request. He even gave me a time frame as I didn't have a scheduled appointment. It was less time than expected as well. The service lounge was nice and had available refreshments including a Kuerig coffee system that was coffee shop worthy!

I just went to test drive a car with intentions of still looking. I had been looking at this particular vehicle for about a month and had wanted this type of car for about 2 years. I called and scheduled my test drive with Dee (who was awesome) and she introduced me to Eddie Merrell who helped me from that point on. He was great in all aspects of this process and worked with me to get me the deal I wanted and that I could afford. Everyone is welcoming and helpful and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Mr. Merrell to anyone looking for a vehicle and we will return to see him when it is time for my husband to purchase his new vehicle.

I received a notification in the mail that the airbags on my Tundra needed to be replaced. I called Modern Toyota to schedule an appointment and they were able to get me in the following day and already had the parts in stock. I pulled into the service center and was greeted by Rene. He was very friendly, took my information down quickly, gave me a rundown of what they were going to do and told me where I could wait. The waiting room for the service center was perfect -- they had cubicles available so I could work (free Wifi) while I waited. I enjoyed their complimentary drinks. Rene came to the waiting room to notify me when the service was finished, and I was on my way before I knew it. Very accommodating operation and employees.

I arrived on schedule for my service and was greeted right away by Big V . He explained what would be done and asked if there was any other issues. We discussed them and then I went in to the waiting room which is very clean and welcoming. Big V said that my car would be ready in 45-60 minutes and in about 40 minutes it was all set. We went over the service details and I was on my way. I highly recommend Modern Toyota on Peter's Creek Parkway in Winston Salem not only as an excellent dealer to purchase a car but also to get the car serviced after purchase.

I am very happy with Modern Toyota! ?? I had a good idea of what I wanted, and Wes Wheeler was the best sales consultant ,He listened to what I wanted and did not try to change my mind on anything! I even was pretty set on the color, both interior and exterior, and they didn't have that on the lot! They searched other dealerships and it took quite a while because I was so specific in what I wanted...when they finally found it Wes said " it was under a rock somewhere " ! The end result is a very happy customer!

We were actually greeted outside the dealership by a very nice gentleman by the name of Charlie who spoke with us, to find out what we were looking for, and then took us directly to the car we wanted to see. He did an outstanding job of showing and explaining the different models and features, especially the safety features of the Rav4. To say that we were impressed with Charlie's knowledge of the vehicle would be an understatement! The test drive was impressive! We had never owned a Toyota before and didn't know what to expect. We were surprised by the comfort of the seats and the ride! The turning radius was unbelievable, the technology in the vehicle was phenominal and right at your fingertips! We especially liked the navigation feature, since we are new to the area, it will make finding our way around much easier but, the duel air condition control was another feature that we loved! We have purchased many new vehicles and we can honestly say, that it has never been as easy as Charlie made the entire transaction, from beginning to end. AND, we got to take our new vehicle home the same day! Would we purchase another vehicle from Charlie at Modern Toyota? Absolutely!

After some searching around for a particular Tacoma color and package, and finding one on another local dealers lot, I was unsure which way to go for the best deal on the truck I wanted. At Modern Toyota, the sales representatives are knowledgeable and helpful. Wes Wheeler possessed a superb knowledge on not only individual vehicles, but on each trim level for each vehicles. He was very helpful in our decision to buy a 2015 Toyota Sienna XLE, though we looked at the Highlander and 4Runner as well. He showed a "service with a smile" mentality, and never got frustrated despite our laundry list of questions and desire to drive and see multiple vehicles. Despite the tremendous amount of research that we did prior to viewing the vehicles, he knew answers to every question that we had!There internet specialist, Diyani, was also very helpful answering questions prior to our arrival and made our appointment with ease despite our busy schedule. On the finance side, Yates Moon did a wonderful job explaining all of our options for financing the vehicle. He provided a personal side to the different warranty options and the benefits and limitations of each. In addition to being thorough, he was also exceedingly efficient. The manager Steve Bryan also went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant experience and to make sure we were well taken care of. Overall, a very satisfying car purchasing experience!

The salesman was great. He wasn't pushy and spent a ton of time with us without ever making us feel rushed or like we were being sold to. The service was wonderful, the attendant Big V took time to explain everything to me as to what I needed and to work out a price that I could afford to replace 4 tires. He told me that the tires that were on the car were the wrong size tire and that was why the ride was so rough. I am a single female 61 years old and I need some guidance when it comes to my car. They did an alignment as well and no one has ever done that when I got tires.

Having exhausted all the possibilities in the Myrtle Beach area, Charlotte, NC area, and Rock Hill area with little or no response or follow up on pricing, we listened to a neighbor from the Thomasville, NC area. Chad Gordon was my salesperson. I was very frustrated because my sunroof was leaking heavily. I was dumping rain that had collected in my driver seat 2 times a day for 6 days. Friendly & co-operative to the way I wanted to pursue the discussion rather than their default manner.Next day while putting my "stuff" into the new downsized car I realized that just like in housing, when you downsize, storage takes the biggest hit. The Toyota Corolla is really cheap on spots for sunglasses, change, cell phone. litter bag, trunk storage of small sliding things, Elantra had more spaces, much, much, much better trunk. Mr. Toyoda needs to see them!!Drivers side front window frame (a cars blind spot) seems bigger than before or is more frontal than on the side. Remember the wrap around front windows in the 1960's?If I ever purchase another car, I will require more time in the vehicle (like an afternoon) to sit at home & take it all in. My short time in the vehicle was primarily addressing the controls.I missed seeing the car!So many products for sale that your best sellers don't even find showroom space. We initiated the process on line from Tucson, Az. When I got home I looked online for the particular car I wanted, talked to Michele Taylor by phone and gave her my preferences. Friday night after work I went to the dealership and met with Charles Will. The car I had been considering was right there and he gave me a thorough lesson in all the features. He asked if I was interested in seeing any other models but I was sold on the one I chose. He was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable but NO pressure, which is really appreciated. I took the car home overnight and came back Saturday and bought it.

I found the Highlander XLE I was looking for on line and stopped by the Modern Toyota. Within minutes Matt McDonald had prepared a sales sheet for the new car and had my trade-in appraised. The cost for the new car as well as the trade-in value offered was fair and within the range anticipated. We had a deal immediately. The new Highlander was delivered a week later. Final paperwork was handled by Brad McAdams as efficiently as the sale by Matt. Both were friendly, courteous throughout the entire process. Back in May this year me and my fiance purchased a 2015 RAV4 from yall through Kevin : / (worst experience of my life) everything was going terrible I was very sad and upset with how things went using Kevin until I met Yates moon he bent over backs for me and made me extremely happy with my purchase that day I begged him to get someone else to show me how to work my car instead of Kevin and Yates absolutely took care of that matter and I couldn't have been more happy 3 months later my fiance and I broke up and the brand new car was in both our names so I knew I had to get out of that situation and I knew exactly who to call.... Yates of course ! So I came down here one morning and told him how Jordan was a cheater and I needed to get out of this car loan so he told me he would take care of me and by all means I trusted him and he said who do you want to talk to in sales I told him to pick his favorite and he called drew (Andrew Robinson ) he told me drew would take good care of me and little did I know he went above and beyond for me! Drew told me I had two options to trade in and get a brand new Camry or have Jordan trade this in and I could have the 4 runner I had been wanting and I told him to please work his magic and get Jordan to trade this car in and drew and Yates got together and did exactly that I got a text from drew saying head this way he is trading it I was so happy after a day of total anxiety hey made me feel completely better about how this was going to go it was 6 pm on Friday the 14th and I knew there was no way for me to get in the 4 runner that was in Boone so drew and Yates told me not to worry that they would make sure I wasn't stranded and he put a tag on a used car so I could get to work the next morning I when to work and drove this loaner car back to him after work to pick up my 4 runner With the conclusion of this I would only recommend everyone I know to modern Toyota to Yates and drew they absolutley helped me in every way possible I didn't feel like a customer I felt like a friend and that's what made this experience so great !!!!!Yates moon and Andrew Robinson are one xxxx of a team!!!

my corolla lost power last saturday night. i called modern toyota's service dept. at 10am on monday and was put through to advisor "big v." who assured me that my vehicle would be taken care of that day.the car was towed to modern toyota, arriving at 1:30pm and "big v" took charge from there.my corolla was ready at 3:30pm and was repaired at no cost to me, as there were 2 recall notices that I was unaware of. the waiting room facility was clean, quiet, offered free coffee and had current magazines available and modern personnel on-site.THX BIG V AND MODERN TOYOTA.. Starting at the beginning I had the best salesman meet me at the door. Chad Gordon was the least pushy salesman I've ever experienced. I truly felt at ease with him representing what was right for me. I was interested in 2 trucks that was not on the lot that were supposed to be there per another sales department. But my disappointment quickly turned because I got a better truck for a lower price than I could have got anywhere else. Thanks for making a bad situation a good situation. The whole staff was excellent. After buying the truck I must have had 5 or 6 employees come by shake my hand and congratulate me on my purchase. Even after the purchase I feel the staff truly cared that I had the best car buying experience ever. Treatment like this will be why I will give 6 hours again to purchase my next vehicle.

Let me start off by saying my sales rep Marcy Drysdale was excellent. She really went to bat for me and was did a great job with overwhelming process of purchasing a vehicle. My problem comes with the sales manager on duty. The car that was sold to me didn't have any floor mats , not one. Marcy told me she would see what she could do as far as getting some or taking something off the price. Sales manager's response was that he was comfortable with what price already was he refused to lower the price, despite no floor mats. Now I realize I didn't have to buy the car. But in the feedback request email, Modern Toyota expresses a "dedication to excellent customer service". There is nothing excellent about completely dismissing the absence of something everyone is accustom to having in a car, knowing that they are missing, and doing absolutely nothing about it.

I had a very positive experience working with Stephen Butcher of the sales staff. Although new to the dealership, he had thorough knowledge of the vehicle I was considering buying. He took the time to explain and demonstrate the features of this vehicle and I felt that he had genuine interest in me as a customer. He is an asset to Modern Toyota, in my opinion.The only negative was the fact that I could not use the 60-month no interest offer from Toyota on the advertised price of this vehicle. It seems to me that it is irrelevant how I plan to pay for the vehicle (cash purchase, home equity, Toyota payment plan) and an upcharge should not have been applied to the purchase price for the Toyota no-interest offer. But this is a management/corporate decision. In the end, this fine print (the website posting for the car said nothing about a cash-only price) did not prevent my purchase, although I came close to walking away.

I started with a visit on TrueCar, which immediately generated multiple leads to the vehicle we were shopping for and within minutes a representative called to set up our actual visit at the closest dealership. The entire process was smooth with no pressure. The first vehicle we looked at, which the dealer choose based on our input was the one we bought at a great price and got a fair trade-in for a vehicle that was out of town. The dealership even arranged to deliver our vehicle and pick up the trade from our daughter living almost 100 miles away; that convenience is a special touch that we appreciated very much. We have purchased from Modern Toyota multiple times and will continue to do so.

I went to the dealership with very specific guidelines on what I was looking for and not very much room for deviation. I knew my price requirements and milage was not going to be impossible, but it would require a lot of leg work. These guys exceeded my expectations and delivered. I feel I received prompt, courteous and fair service from Chad and Yates during my visit to trade in a 2005 Volvo and lease a new Camry on 3/16/15. Today I spent 15 minutes on the phone trying to get a quote on replacing my rear drum brakes. I was routed from showroom sales to parts to service back to showroom and then back to service. When I told service I would NOT allow them to re-route my call again, the woman responded $250 (without asking me year, make, model of car). When I asked if that price included turning the drums - she said "Oh, you have drums - not rotors?" I then told her that I had a 2006 Scio XB - but she was not familiar with it. I was put on hold for a 6th time, when she finally came back and said that she spoke to Tommy (the manager) and he was not sure either but thought it should be about $250. When I then asked what the price was if they had to replace the rotor, she had no idea and said she would have to call parts (7th transfer). I asked for her name as I wanted to complain about the poor customer service - but she refused. Note - when I spoke with the showroom (twice) they blamed the mix up on high volume of calls, short staffing, and lack of training as to which department di what. As we were speaking a live chat popped up on my computer...so I related this story and was told a manager would call me back within 15 minutes. Not surprisingly, I have not heard a work. To be honest, it doesn't make a difference as Modern Toyota is so inefficient and unfriendly that it is obvious that customer service is the lowest priority. Who would want to take their car there for repairs? And, I certainly would not buy one from them either...I've had four Toyotas (all bought while I lived in Raleigh for 20 years) and never had a problem. Modern Toyota is a horror story. Now I know why everyone at WFU talks negatively about them.

This is my third Rav and the second one I bought from Modern. I am a Toyota girl. The Rav I just traded in was a 2003 with 163,000 miles. It was a great car, I never had any major problems.My sales person, GoPal was a joy to work with. He worked with me on pricing and was able to get the deal I wanted with all the additional features I wanted. He also help me set up my blue tooth and explained several other features of the car that were new to me.I worked with Yates Moon on my financing, another great experience. I explain all the options and additional protection plans to me. Took as much time as I needed to understand it all. I feel that he was looking out for my best interest and not just pushing want would make the most money for the dealership. Both were great guys. Would recommend Modern.

My initial email inquiry was handled quickly and efficiently by Corinna in the internet sales department. The same can't be said for other dealers I contacted. This, and the positive reviews from actual customers (friends of mine) lead me to Modern. I set up an appointment for 10 am on Saturday and was greeted promptly by Gopal Chandarana. I was upfront with Gopal about what I wanted and what I expected. He was very down to earth, easy to talk to. I had financing secured prior to shopping and asked Gopal to see if Modern's team could beat my rate. I had a low rate to begin with and they beat it anyway! We came to within $300 of the purchase price I had budgeted. No hassles whatsoever. There was no pressure at any point. No games. I was in and out in about 3 hours on a busy Saturday. Judy, in the finance office, was patient and kind as well. I never felt trapped, had my keys and drivers license the entire time, and was able to stay relaxed the entire time. After the sale, Gopal set up my Bluetooth connection and explained the features of the car. I can't say enough about how important it is for dealerships to make you feel welcome and not feel like a number. Thanks to Gopal and the staff at Modern Toyota!

One of the big reason I conducted business with Modern Toyota was the excellent treatment I received from the sales rep. I was not sure which car I wanted and I was planning of looking at different models. The sales rep was very open and did not push me to make a decision. He was not pushy at all which made me want to come back to the dealership and look some more and test drive again. It is because of the sales rep's willingness to help and the level of respect I received from the sales rep I had a compelling desire to do the business with Modern Toyota. Very honestly speaking, Eddie's behavior made Modern Toyota my top choice for buying a car and I am sure my next car would also be from Modern Toyota. Eddie's Boss Mike also impressed me by his keen business sense and cordial behavior. Eddie and Mike are big asset for Modern Toyota. Thank you very much guys.Before coming to Toyota I went to other dealerships. I dealt with two different sales reps at one of the dealerships and both of them questioned my choice and wished that I had made up my mind before I visited the dealership. One of their sales reps told me that I was wasting the time by driving a car that I was not sure I would buy. He told me that usually people know which vehicle they want before they go to the dealership and I should narrow down my choice before deciding to test drive. At this dealership I test drove two vehicles and liked both but did not feel like going back.

I found the vehicle I purchased on the Modern web site and briefly spoke to Myrna in Internet Sales and then Andrew Robinson got on the phone and asked questions such as what I wanted on a vehicle and after some discussion I decided upon the XLE. Both Andrew and Myrna were very very professional and supportive of what I was trying to accomplish. When I arrived at the dealership last Thursday Andrew already had the items I had requested be installed actually installed. As he went over ALL the features of this vehicle, I could tell he was well versed in all the attributes of this vehicle. I found the same experience when I went to financing. Overall, I found my experience at Modern to be Exceptional!

Yet, thanks to Dan Santarelli, this experience was completely different in a good way. This is the 3rd vehicle I bought from Modern Toyota. They go above and beyond to try to accommodate the buyer. My first car bought from them was a brand new 2006 Scion Xb. I had done my research on the internet and walked into the dealership knowing which exact vehicle I wanted. They made it happen quickly and painlessly. When I traded in my Xb (still miss it) last year, I got a used 2011 Tacoma. Again, I found it on the internet and they made it happen. And again a very easy transaction. So, this year I decided that I wanted a bigger, new truck. So I did my online research and found a beautiful blue Toyota Tundra. I thought it was out of my price range but they worked with the numbers (cut the price on the new truck, gave me a lot for my trade) and made me very happy. I believe I will keep this one for quite a while. I can't say enough good things about them and my new truck!! Just loving it.

We are very pleased with this dealership. This is our second purchase here, and it is where we have our car serviced. Both sales and service personnel are fantastic! In purchasing our Avalon, Jesse from the internet department "got the ball rolling," and Niven "closed the sale." Niven spent a lot of time helping us, and he wasn't going to be happy unless we were happy. The "door is open" for us to come back to him with any questions or concerns; and even though the sale and commission is completed, I know he would give us the same attention we would receive if we were in to purchase a new car.

I originally came in looking at the Toyota camery, after meeting with Niven Bayer and telling him the amount of miles I will be driving to and from work (I am a account manager for Coca-Cola so I'm always on the road) he suggested the prius hybrid, I wasn't originally interested in the prius but after he let me take it for a test drive, explained the savings in gas per mile and showed me the features, I was impressed, I then went home and two days later I came back to your dealership just because of the amazing service I got from Niven, and today I love my prius and he helped me pick the right level prius. overall i am very satisfied with the service I got, intact my brother is looking to get a new toyota after he graduates and he will be coming here and seeing Niven.

I just purchased a 2013 Venza from Modern.It was a easy, relaxed and even enjoyable at times. It was nothing like the stereotypical car buying experience. I had an amazing team of knowledgeable, respective, and friendly employees.It started in internet sales with Ashley, who gathered the information and what i was looking for. She kept my constantly updated, and prepared me for when i went into the dealership. When i arrived Marcy showed me the Venza and allowed me to take it to where my wife was working for her to see. We saw an ad on TV for Toyota Camry for a really good price. We went in, and they actually had a number of cars for the advertised price in stock. They met the advertised price, and didn't push for us to get a more expensive car. Kenny, the sales associate was very knowledgeable. The finance officer was able to get us a good interest rate and monthly payment. Everyone was very friendly. It was great to walk onto a lot, pick a color, and sign the papers.

I enjoyed working with Kevin at Modern Totyota. He and Daniel responded to my web request on the vehicle before 10am the next morning. I test drove it an hour later, but didn't decide to buy it until the next week. The vehicle was covered under a new warranty program that includes lifetime NC inspections. Dangerous! Now annually I'm on their lot getting an inspection in May with lot's of new Tundra Trucks. I suspect that's part of their plan. No matter. Gotta work on my will power.

I went to Modern with the concept that I would be leaving with my same vehicle I drove in with or they would try to put me in something I didn't like/want due to my credit issues, the year of my car, and with no money to put down, but with the grace of God & Mason I was able to get a Mazda CX-7. Mason worked his butt off to get me in my new vehicle. I was not there all day and everyone was so nice. The service there was excellent and I'm recommending to ALL of my friends!

Thanks to Daniel Perry we found and purchased exactly what we wanted. Daniel was very patience and answer all of our questions. He showed us all the options in three or four models of Camry's we had query's regarding. There was no pressure to buy or finance there. When we declined financing we were respected with our decision to use our own bank. We were also not pushed into any "other" additional options when we declined. Our No meant no and was respected. That means a great deal. But let's get back to Daniel. He is great. Your lucky to have him on your sales team. He is very easy going and knowledgeable even for being so new to the dealership. My husband and I were impressed. The entire experience was very comfortable and fun.I am thrilled that I found a car that was one I had only dreamed of in the past. The discount offered made this car very affordable and our family could not be happier. I want to point out that the back seat is just as comfortable as the front. My 14 year old daughter appreciates that. That has been a source of contention in other vehicles we have recently test drove. Also she is thrilled she can hook up her lap top for game playing on longer trips. We have had the car two days and my husband is now trying to find excuses to drive places. I don't mind because we now have a hybrid (another bonus I didn't think I could afford).Thanks so much for the experience. We could not be happier from start to finish.

I appreciated Ricky taking the time to explain and educate me on the concept of a Prius. To be frank, I did not expect that I would be buying a hybrid given I had no understanding of the concept. We had spoken with an individual on the phone regarding a used 2014 Prius seen on line. This lady happened to be the previous owner of the vehicle we were interested in.When we arrived at Modern Toyota we were greeted by Greg Stewart and asked for the lady associated with the car. He stated that she was not on site at that time and he would be helping us. We had our dog Lilly with us and she was welcomed and received attention from everyone, including her own water bowl. All staff that we encountered were dog friendly and very cordial. We individually test drove the car while the other watched our dog. Since this was our first experience driving a hybrid vehicle, Greg was very helpful in explaining operational procedures. Test driving ruled out any concerns we had regarding size, comfort, features, and handling.Greg worked very hard to get us the best deal he could and we were able to reach an agreeable trade on our existing vehicle. We were quite impressed with Greg's professionalism and cordial demeanor. I will highly recommend Modern Toyota and Greg Stewart to others seeking to make a vehicle purchase.

Internet sales (Jesse) helped me get focused on my needs: lease a Camry Hybrid or Prius. I then was persuaded to come to Winston from Greensboro based on 2 conversations with Jesse & Dan regarding an additional $1000 incentive which would be applied to the lease. As such, I went to Modern and leased a vehicle from your dealership rather than one in Greensboro.When I arrived, Dan QUICKLY got me to test drive both cars. Once I decided on the Camry, financing was fast, including agreeing the value of the trade. Dan & Dave got all paperwork completed Friday night so that I could pick the car up Saturday morning. In closing, Toyota has a great product and I really like the free maintenance for 2 years/25,000 miles. We stopped by Modern Toyota just to look at the Prius, because it gets good gas mileage. We were actually looking for a small SUV. Dan Santarelli helped us immediately. He was very knowledgeable about the Prius, explaining the different options and styles to us. We were impressed with how easy it was to get into and out of the car. My wife and I were both concerned about that. We decided to give it a test drive and were impressed with the comfort and handling of the car. Dan found us just the car we wanted, a blizzard pearl model 3. They gave us a reasonable price for our trade in and a good deal on the Prius. Daniel Derrick, the F&I Manager took care of all the paper work in a very professional and timely manner. Both Dan and Daniel were very helpful, professional, and friendly. I received a phone call from Modern asking if I wanted to trade my Camry. I told them yes, and they setup an appointment for me later that day. When my husband and I arrived they already had a car selected for me. My salesman, Mr. Waters was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Mr Waters worked with us patiently in that, he had written up the information for the new Camry, but then I changed my mind and decided to purchase the Vinza instead. Dwane Brown is so awesome. He is the best sales person ever. He helped me from choosing the best car for me to getting car insurance. We had been considering buying a new 4Runner for a few months and put it off because it is usually a long, stressful ordeal. We decided to try Modern Toyota because the commercials always say "Experience the Modern Difference". Both my husband and I were very impressed with our buying experience there. That was by far, the easiest, quickest, no stress car deal we have ever made! We were both very skeptical, but we can honestly say that we will not go to any other dealership. Modern had the best price on exactly the vehicle we wanted and an excellent staff to work with. Very satisfied all around!

Dan Santarelli is an excellent salesperson. He worked very hard for the sale, answering all of my questions and getting me what I wanted in my new car and what I wanted for my trade in vehicle. It is very easy to do business with Modern Toyota. Their pricing is more upfront and also lower than competing area dealerships. Dan spends extra time with his customers after the sale to make sure they know how everything works in the new vehicle. I highly recommend both Modern Toyota and Dan Santarelli. Great experience. Great sales person! Would definitely refer to family and friends. Love our new Tacoma. My TRD decal is crooked, no floor mats. Windows are not tinted as we were charged but still great to deal with. Im sure these issues will be resolved no problem.

I called Toyota for service on my Tacoma and told them what I would like done and they gave me fair estimates and even helped me save money. Jeff let me know that I did not need to pay for a certain service because it was already going to be done as part of another service that was scheduled to be done. And when a part exceeded the estimated price, discounts were applied to keep the estimate on target. They were fast and price was less than I expected. I paid alot more for the same job a few years ago from a local neighborhood mechanic and the guy was lousy and did not even use Toyota parts. I will never do that again! I highly recommend Modern Toyota service. Thanks!

I've had my 2002 Toyota Camry for about six years now (since I was a teenager), and I've always gone to places like JiffyLube to get the oil change, inspection, basic services, etc. done. My last few experiences at JiffyLube, however, were incredibly expensive and I often felt like the salespeople/mechanics were taking advantage of my relative ignorance in an effort to get more money out of me. Quite wary, I decided to look elsewhere and try Modern Toyota's service department. I couldn't have made a better choice! I dropped my car off one evening using the very convenient key drop system, and was easily able to communicate all the work that I wanted done on the envelope. The next morning I got a call from the very friendly staff saying that, as I had requested, my oil had been changed, my inspection done, and the splash cover replaced--and that was IT! No one tried to sell me additional services or attempted to convince me to upgrade x to y or anything like that, which was so refreshing and, quite honestly, a major relief. They simply told me the price (a very reasonable $70--far cheaper than my last few visits to JiffyLube!) and let me know that I could come pick it up at my convenience. When I did go to pick it up, they had also cleaned my windows inside and outside, and happily pulled the car right up to the curb for me.It was an excellent experience, and I could kick myself for not having tried Modern's service department before. I won't trust my Camry with anyone else again!

I thought that Andrew was great. This is the 2nd car that my wife and I have bought from him. He made us feel like he really cared about us and our car buying experience. Received six-month service on 2013 Camry (leased). Tire pressure light came on about 1 month ago and called service dept. Woman on the line told me that it was natural since air in tire expanded with warm weather and contracted in cold. (The light stayed on). When car was brought in for service, I was told the tires were probably low and the light should not be on. The tires were checked, the problem fixed and the warning light is now off. I have no complaints about service - done in a speedy and helpful manner. However, I did not appreciate the information I received when I first called about the problem.

I was sent home from work ill. My Camry steering had been making noise, getting worse and worse, I stopped in, Christy was at the station I pulled up to, I pulled on my steering, she knew right away what it was, said they had time to check it out; also, my windshield fluid well leaked. also, it was time for an oil change, so that needed to be done.I asked if I could get a courtesy ride home,since I was not feeling well, she said yes.The courtesy drivers both way were so nice..........Cristy explained in detail what was wrong with the steering rack; she had someone come and get me as soon as my car was ready, since I was not feeling well..................I have been using Modern since I moved here from CT and trust them. Christy is a model of what customer service should be...........her extension is 5479 (I don't have her card in front of me so cannot put her last name in, sorry Christy)............I hope she gets some kind of customer service award from Toyotal. :)

Was in market for a new Toyota 4Runner. Worked with Nancy Smith who went out of her way to assist us. Was impressed with her knowledge of the 4Runner, and gave us a full overview of its features prior to our test drive. At no time did we feel pressured or hurried in anyway. When we returned for a 2nd look, Nancy was not in, but after a phone call she came in on her day off with a Smile on her face. Decided that day to purchase and she made sure that everything went smooth and that the 4Runner was ready for delivery upon our arrival that afternoon. Overall one of the best car buying experiences we have had in past years. We HIGHLY recommend Nancy Smith ! No pressure, excellent people skills, knowledgeable, and willing to go out of her way for the customer.

The overall experience at Toyota was great. The part I appreciate the most is how comfortable I was made to feel throughout the whole process. Matt did an awesome job allowing me to speak my feelings, concerns, and most of all he was not pushy. I didn't feel rushed at any point. My kids were there and he welcomed them. They felt comfortable talking with him and he was relaxed enough to take a few jokes thrown at him. My husband was not there the first day and Matt understood the need for his opinion. Matt worked it so that I could take the car home so that my husband could have a chance to analyze the situation. Matt's personality is perfect for the job that he does. He is open minded, understanding, and patient. I would go back to him or refer someone to him without a doubt.

I drive a Ford Focus and one would think that I would return it to that dealership for service but I find their service to be lacking. While I could get an oil change cheaper else where one gets what they pay for. I always leave Modern knowing that I can trust them. When I purchase a new automobile it will be from Modern Toyota.

This is the way you buy a car in the 21st century. You look online , find a great price. Call the dealer and talk to a salesman who gives you the actual cost, financing options, and tells you he will get you what you want. A week later, you get a phone call, the car is ready and you can come sign and drive. NO DRAMA! I did my research and this was the best deal for hundreds of miles. This is our second new car with Brad and Modern. Thank you!

This was my third auto purchase with Modern Toyota and it was a great experience. The approach from Ricky Lewis on the sales floor to email communication and phone conversations was beyond compare; Ricky was very exceptional, non-judgmental, and easy to talk with. He listened to what I wanted and it appeared he did his due diligence in obtaining and getting what I wanted without showing any stress in dealing with a customer who wanted the world. The day of signing was quick and easy and Yates Moon explained the financing process along the way with a smile and good humor, as well as maintained good eye contact. Overall, I would recommend Modern Toyota as the place to go for a new Toyota product. Because, the staff I dealt with were very professional, non-judgemental, as well as made you feel like you were someone.

My son visited Modern Toyota last week and received great service from James. So much that he bought a brand new Toyota Corolla and drove off the lot the same night. I have been looking for a new car so I decided to go to Modern Toyota to see what they had to offer, I have never driven a Toyota and I have to say I was impressed with the smooth ride and great handling of the steering. Wes Wheeler is the salesman who assisted me and we drove two different types of Camry's and I decided on one of them and Wes Wheeler did a fantastic job in negotiating my price I wanted and I drove off the lot with the car I wanted and am very satisfied with my experience at Modern Toyota and I will recommend them to everyone!

Dywane was very friendly and "non threatening" Car sales men can be scary as is the rest of the experience. The atmosphere was calm and very professional w/o the cloud of greedy hungry slimy salesmen all over the place.I told the sales mean what I wanted, and he listened to my needs and found the perfect car for me- with my requests. He did not try to "UP-sell" me. In addition I feel luck to have had a salesman w a personality. My mom came in to look for a new car since she had wrecked hers earlier in the summer. She is still using a cane and had only been under the wheel of a car once earlier in the week. Duane was very patient with her in showing her about the features of the car and since she was not going to be comfortable driving in too much traffic, he took us to a small housing development and let her drive the car there. He did not rush her and let her drive as long as she wanted. When filling out the remaining paperwork, Yates made her very comfortable and did not rush her in any way. She could not have asked for people to make her feel any more comfortable and at ease as they did. And I was also very impressed with the treatment that was received. Since she does not use email, I am filling out this information and setting up the account. I know she was very happy with the service received.

Andrew Robinson at Modern Toyota was very helpful, hospitable, and personable. He did not push me or make me feel rushed. This is why I went back to him after just looking at cars. He explained and showed me differences in my 2007 Prius and the new 2013 Prius I bought. He made sure I felt confident with my car and my deal. I put 150,000 miles on my old Prius and it was a wonderful car so I wanted another one. He gave me all the attention and help I needed. I previously have had my service work done at Modern and have always been happy with it.

When you go into a dealer you are never sure what is going to go wrong. Something always does. If its not the price, it's the trade, the high pressure tactics or the financing. Apparently however, there are exceptions when you work with an exceptional dealership. Our purchase of a 2013 Toyota Prius Persona was amazingly easy. We were given a great deal, great trade value and it was a quick and easy process. We will be back! (I did love the Scion tc from the showroom floor)

WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! customer service ever, I wasn't treated right. I felt just like if I was buying a burger from Mcdonald's in matter of fact Mcdonalds employees are wayyyyy friendly than these car selling people. Shaddy way of doing sales procedures and very sneaky when questions were asked. During the sale to make things shorter, they basically kick me out of the dealership after I gave them my money Do not do business with these people.

Modern is one of the best dealerships I have ever worked with in my history of vehicle ownership. Facilities are amazing, as well as the selection of vehicles available. The service department is outstanding and very willing to work with you and your schedule. It was a pleasure to meet Nancy and deal with her. She was very knowledgeable about the product (car). She was very helpful in getting our Bluetooth set up. She was willing to stay as late(almost midnight) as it took to get our new car delivered, serviced and cleaned up before we took possession. Think everyone kind of dreads walking into a car dealership to buy a new car, the hassle of it, the worries of making a big purchase, wanting to make sure you get that great deal on a car. First time I have ever been to Modern and I will admit my experience from start to finish was Great. My salesman was Wes Wheeler was straight forward and honest he didnt try and push anything, I let him know what I wanted and he helped me get exactly what I was looking for. The Finance Dept was Awesome as well explained everything, answered all my questions, didnt try and rush me while I was reviewing everything. Being a Single mom walking into any dealership is a scary experience but I will Visit Modern again when I decide it is time for another car.

Mr. Brown introduced himself after I arrived at the dealership and asked if he could be of assistance. I responded that I had seen a few vehicles on line I wanted to look at , he said to let him know if I needed anything. A bit later I asked Mr. Brown to look at two Camry models. Mr. Brown offered me a seat and beverage while he located the vehicles I was interested in on the computer. We discussed the differences in the two vehicles and then went out side for "hands on" review. We test drove the one vehicle (same car different model) on different types of roadways.My vehicle was evaluated and two proposals (at my request) were made. I was introduced to (I believe) the Sales Manager. I asked how long the proposals were valid and said I would be in touch.I went back to the Dealership in the afternoon with my wife, for another test drive. We were greeted by Mr. Brown, who again offered us a seat and beverage. Mr. Brown took the time to do another "hands on" review of the car for my wife. We test drove the car. We agreed upon a model and price and proceeded to the paperwork.Accessories needed to be installed so it was decided we would pick up the car the next day.We inspected the car upon arrival and noticed some spots on the hood of the car. Not sure if they were water marks or not, Mr. Brown contacted the Service Department, to check it out. The gentleman from the Service Department cleaned off the marks and returned the car.Mr. Brown reviewed the owners manual and numerous other items. Mr. Brown did a complete walk around and review of the car and asked if he could program the Blue tooth or be of any other help. Mr. Brown then introduced us to the Service Department and gave us a tour of the Lounge and Parts Department. Mr. Brown also explained the procedure for early / late drop off.We were thanked for our purchase and were told if there was anything Mr. Brown could do for us, to please contact him.Mr. Brown (Dwane) was very personable and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. It was refreshing to deal with someone with a sense of humor and personality! I would highly recommend Mr. Brown and will definitely contact him for future purchases .

The staff at Modern Toyota were very friendly. I appreciated the fact that there was a play area for my two little ones to enjoy while Gopal worked with me regarding the sale. I appreciated the lounge area that was stocked with drinks and television. I expected to spend less time at the dealership than I did, as I sent my information to them the day before in anticipation of my visit. Even with this pre-application information, I felt that the process took as long as it would have had I not sent the information in prior, which was a bit disappointing. I completed an auto-trader instant trade in prior to my visit, but still had to haggle in order for the appraisal team to stand by the offer that I received from them online. My sales person was very friendly and helpful, giving me time to discuss options with my husband, assisting us with getting our belongings out of our trade in and staying to ensure we were taken care of even though it was after closing time. I would recommend this dealership to someone else as the prices for their vehicles are very reasonable and the sales staff are very helpful.

On the two sections I gave a 4-good it was because there was an issue with the car I purchased and I had to bring it back to be worked on. however, as soon as I notice the problem I call the dealership and it was handle quickly and with a good customer service attitude. Also wanted to say that Dan S. was very helpful and wonderful to work with. He even followed up after the sale. I also loved the picture he took of my family and myself with the car and then mailed it too us. As for the price... it was the best around but let's face it, we always think we can do better.

Mondern Toyota sent a letter asking to buy my 2003 Toyota Camry. They honored the letter with out a hitch or gimmick. They did a walk around and drove it for about 15 minutes and told me what they were offering. I was given a GREAT value for my trade and even better price on my BMW (dream car sine 14 yrs old)The service package was awesome and was VERY easy to use...... and they were ever so helpful!!! I took my 7 year old with me, and it made him feel like he was buying the car with me. (Sodas, chips, cartoons, play area etc)I would recommend this dealership to all my friends that are looking to buy a car. We looked at the used cars at Modern Toyota on Sunday when they were closed and we found our dream van. The van was clean and looked great. We called Monday and were referred to our Salesman, Roque -- pronounced ROW KEY. He and the Sales-manager were awesome. We had odd circumstances and they had us in and out, test drive, paperwork and all in 1 and half hours. Which is rare, since my wife and I have bought several cars and this was by far our best experience. They were fair with the trade in value of our cars and gave us a full tank of gas as well as an upgrade on our van. It could not have gone any easier. We had shopped at many other dealerships, Flow Used cars on Straford, CUABS off of university, Northpoint Chrysler, and a few others and found Modern to be the nicest and easiest to work with. It has been several weeks later and we love our van. KEYPOINTS:1. Fair price for the vehicle (gave us internet price)2. Fair value for trade-ins3. No high pressure4. Full tank of gas5. Great follow up service after we left the dealershipWe are real customers and we received nothing for this review,as a matter of fact I called just 5 minutes ago and asked them how we could post a good review because of their excellent service. The reason being is our last few visits with the previously mentioned dealers were either cut rate offers for our trades in which we told every person we knew about their poor service which is what you should do, high pressure sales or no follow up after a smile and promise. Winston Salem is probably an hour and a half away and after looking and looking for the right car I almost turned around. We had called when we decided to head that way to look at a Dodge Nitro. It was pouring down raining and when we arrived Rebecca welcomed us to an umbrella, money for the vending machine, complimentary drinks and a smile. Casey and her was wonderful to work with. They didn't hesitate with any of my questions and was very generous. I would recommend their service and working with Rebecca and Casey any day. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALER! I expressed interest in a 2006 Corolla and arranged a time to drive to the dealer to test drive the car. Since I was driving more than 75 miles each way from Chapel Hill, I called again the morning I was heading to the dealer and confirmed that it was still available and would be ready for me to drive. Yes, they were expecting me and the car would be ready to drive I was told. Upon reaching the dealer, I was informed by another sales person that the car in question had sold two days prior. Then they wanted to show me more expensive cars. Really poor business practices. I would never do business with such an unprofessional, unethical dealer. Be warned.

I have been looking for months for a great deal on a used Diesel pickup stout enough to pull a large camper and after checking Modern's website I found the truck I was looking for. It was Sunday night when I saw the ad so I drove a few miles up the road to see if the truck was on the lot and was happy to see that it was still there.I went the next day only to see another couple preparing to take the truck for a test drive. I thought I blew it and missed the truck I was after. I pulled up in the lot and took a look at another truck but it wasn't what I was looking for. Wes Wheeler approached me and I told him that I was really wanting the other truck and gave him my number and told him to call me if the other couple didn't buy the truck.Wes called about 7:00 and said they had passed so, I grabbed my wife and we drove back to Modern and Wes was waiting on me with the keys in hand to take it for a spin. When we returned I got the price and low interest rate I was looking for and drove off the lot less than an hour later.Good Service is hard to find so when you find it you want to keep coming back. we bought another car back in 2002 from Modern Toyota and it is still going strong with nearly 200K miles on it and I have no doubts this purchase will be just as good. Modern has been very good standing behind their vehicles and they create a comfortable atmosphere to do business with.I would recommend Modern to my family and friends with no problem!

In the last two months, we have purchased two Toyotas. I have a brand new FJ Cruiser. A very new experience for me. I love this vehicle. Some say it has a rough ride , but I have been amazed at how well it rides on regular street surfaces and the comfort level it high.Mr. Wes Wheeler, my sales associate, he was very courteous and helpful in showing me all the things my FJ could do. In all the excitement of the purchase I have to admit that I only absorbed about half if the info., but that's what the Owners Manual is for.I also wish to commend Mrs. Shannon Wilson your Financial representative. She was wonderful. Really knew her stuff and made it ALL clear to me. She made me feel comfortable while signing my life away, again! Last but not least, I want to mention your Sales Mgr. It was painless and easy no hidden fees no gimics.The salesman that helped me was Michael Williams he was very helpful and knowledgable. They have a great customer relations manager, Bryan Johnson that made sure I was being taken care of and as the car I was purchasing that day was a gift, I asked him if they had big bows for cars, he said no but they should and left next thing I know he returned with a BIG bow in hand, now that is customer service! I truly felt cared for and that goes a long way with me. I will be back and have had my RAV4 serviced there and the service department is excellent too ,quick, friendly and knowledgable staff.

I went and looked at a new Toyota and must have gotten a bad salesman. It was late on a Saturday and he had already left the showroom in is own mind. I mean he was friendly enough, but he was on engaged in really selling a car I cannot even remember his name that tells you anything. We ended up waiting until Monday and called a Toyota dealer in Greensboro. They had the same car just about and worked a deal that saved us $1000.00 over Modern. I have gone to Modern a few times to look at a car before buying elsewhere. I have not really had a great experience with them.

I have taken my car to have service done at Modern Toyota on several occasions and have found the experience to be very positive. I purchased my car through this dealership and all of my initial maintenance was included in the purchase (first several oil changes, 5,000 mile check-up, and 10,000 mile check-up). The drive-through service check-in process is extremely efficient and well organized. Every time I have taken my car for a service appointment, I have chosen to stay at Modern Toyota to wait for my car to be ready. The waiting room is comfortable and pleasant. It is well stocked with complimentary soda, coffee, and reading materials. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable and service is completed quickly. I will not hesitate to take my Scion to them for future maintenance needs.

Each time I have brought my Camry in to the service dept to have it serviced I could not be more satisfied with the friendliness of the service dept & the speed in which they have completed the oil changes. I like the printout you receive showing all they have done to the vehicle and what may need servicing within the next time I need an oil change. I have not allowed my car to be serviced by anyone but Modern Toyota. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do as good a job as they do. I have told strangers that have come up asking me about the Toyota Camry to come see Modern Toyota for the best deal and the friendliest people to help him make his decision as to which model to get. I can't say enough good things about my experience from the time I purchased my car in Dec, 2009 until now. I have had not one bad experience.

I had a problem with the power window on drivers side and took my Sienna in before 8:00 am. The problem was diagnosed as a bad power window motor and I was given an estimate before noon. The repair was made and I picked up the van at the end of the day. The service adviser was great to work with. I have worked with most all of the folks in the service department as our van is a 1999, which I bought there new. Service staff has always been great to work with. I would recommend highly.

My wife and I bought a 2009 Camry Hybrid as advertised in the local paper. The entire sale was easy and efficient.However, we asked if an electronic anti glare inside mirror can be installed. The sales man and the parts counter person stated that they had to call Toyota to see if this was possible. I was told that they could not get a clear answer from Toyota on my request. They stated that a new design inside mirror was going to be available soon. As of yet, I have not heard from the sales person, or the parts counter person. By the way, the inside anti glare mirror is offered as part of an up-option package on the Camry Hybrid. The mirror is also featured in my owner's manual as an optionWhy can't dealership personnel tell the truth???

The service I received at Modern Toyota was excellent. The person who helped me was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained what the damage was to my car and how much it would cost to get it fixed. My car was actually fixed sooner that I expected and that is a real tesimony to their dedication and service. The atmosphere was very nice and I will definitely recomment Modern Toyota to all of my friends!

These folks go far beyond anything one could expect from a service department. They helped me set up my Blue tooth cell phone connection at no charge, and didn't make me feel foolish for not being able to do it myself.They are unfailingly courteous every time I go there, whether for service or purchasing a new car.I recommend Modern Toyota to all of my friends.

I took both vehicles the same day for service. The service was prompt, I was given a ride home to get the second vehicle, and I was kept informed about what was going on and when I could get the vehicles. There is always a complete determination of what is to be done and taking care of the payment is done expediently.

As always, the service was quick and inexpensive...............just the way I like it!!!!! I'm never disappointed. The lobby atmosphere is always pleasant as are the service personnel. They're friendly, neat in appearance and very knowlegeable about why I'm there. For example, I was there for an oil change but also needed a headlight bulb replaced. They knew immediately approximately how much the cost would be and in only a few short minutes they were finished with my vehicle and and the bill was even less than expected. Short wait, low cost...........just doesn't get any better than that!

I called early and got an appointment for a oil change for the same morning. After the oil change, they told me that I needed a wheel alignment and at least 2 tires. I got the alignment and four new tires quickly. The people were nice and gave good options. The car handles much better. Sincerely,Ross
