I came in to have my emissions system fixed so that I could register my vehicle with the state. I came in on a Wednesday and was told my vehicle may not be finished until Friday. So I talked to the service representative and I asked him about a loaner for the time, he said "oh yeah, we go through Enterprise and they will bill us." So I went and paid the deposit for the rental and went on my way. The next day my truck was ready for pickup. So I went to go pay for the work and found the cost to be exhorbitant and on top of that the dealership billed me for the rental! Not only that, they billed me for two days even though I only had it for one day. To add insult they knew my windshield washer reservoir was empty and they did not fill it. Horrible service, horrible lying people. I will never go back, and I hope others will learn from my very costly lesson. Next time I'll go back to Classic. Even though its much further away.

I had excellent customer service from start to finish. Patie and the service department were amazing. The car had some minor flaws but was quickly addressed and repaired without fuss. By far the best car buying experience I have ever had.

Jim H. the General Manager doesn't care about his customers or his job. His apology was half xxx didn't own responsibility for his team. Here's my story...I wanted to provide some feedback on my experience with Moritz Chevy from last week. I came in with my 2015 Silverado for my tires being worn down unevenly July 28th and spoke with Chris L. He told me that you guys were backed up a couple days so it would be wise to make an appointment for the following week. He put my truck on the alignment machine up there in the front to confirm there was a problem and it failed. So we set the appointment for Wed. Aug 3rd 9am. I arrived wed. at 9 and dropped off my truck. Chris took the keys and didn't have me sign anything regarding what they were going to do to my truck or what the scenario would be if you didn't find anything wrong with it. I believe it was cause he anticipated that it was going to be warranty work. I didn't hear anything from Chris until Thur. towards the end of business because I had to call him. I asked what the status was and he said it hadn't even been looked at. I asked why did I have to set up an appointment if I was going to have to wait in line for a technician to free up? Its totally misleading to the customer if you have them set up and appointment but the priority stays the same as a walk in. Anyways, so I asked why I hadn't been offered a loaner if it was going to take 2+ days to even look at it? He said because there's a waiting list on loaners as well but he'd try and get my one with enterprise which he did. Friday comes along and I called him again at lunch to see what the status was and he said that the truck only needed an alignment, tire rotation and balance. I told him I couldn't afford it at the time so I'd bring it back (which at that point I wouldn't have used Moritz as it was and it gets worse) but that I'd be in shortly to pick it up. He said no problem its ready when I'm ready to get it. I arrive at Moritz at 4pm and Chris tells me to wait in lobby. I wait in lobby for about 20 minutes when he comes out to tell me that there's going to be a diagnostic fee. I told him I didn't sign anything to say I understood that it would cost me if it doesn't end up being a warranty repair. He tells me its discounted and that the mechanic spent an hour on diagnosing and if I didn't pay it the mechanic wouldn't get paid. Needless to say I paid it because I felt bad for the mechanic and it was only 25 bucks. So I get in this long line (even though I've been waiting) to pay and they tell me my truck will be pulled up to the front. I'm thinking this truck was supposed to be ready hours ago. So I wait in the lobby for 25 minutes more and then go to Chris' office. He tells me that he'll go get it himself. I wait in his office for another 15 minutes when his colleague who he shares an office with finally says what's going on with your truck? I was getting pissed at that point so he joins the search for Chris and my truck. After neither one of them come back for another 15 minutes I go to the cash counter and ask what the xxxx is going on? The cashier joins the search for Chris, his colleague and my truck. I see them going from vehicle to vehicle so I ask one of the workers in the lobby what they are doing and they tell me looking for my KEYS! I ended up using a spare I had in the truck to get home.

I had been to the dealership before and was helped by a man named James Huneycutt. He was very helpful in the fact that I knew which car I wanted but just not which color. I walked out of there with a brand new 2016 Dodge Challenger! Thanks again James!

My experience with Moritz Chevrolet was amazing! From the hospitality to being quick and easy to deal with, I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle! I flew in and was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome and a quick ride to the dealership to finalize my purchase. Which Jessica was super friendly and very helpful with the process! The finance department was great and friendly also. I'll definitely do business there again!! Thanks for the best truck buying experience!

I was very nervous about trading in my truck. I was not ready to give up my baby, but it was time. My husband came into the dealership 4 days earlier to pay for my repair and that was when Patie Schoonover waived down my husband to tell him she wanted my truck. When he told me this, i told him he was full of you know what. Well sure enough, he was right. We came in, it was her day off and she came in. She was very helpful, she explained tons of pros and cons. Let us know about all he different options. She spent 7 long hours with us, on her day off. I would recommend her to anyone. Truly happy with my experience.

Dealing with Patricia Schoonover was the best part of the whole experience. She works very hard for her clients and won't be beat on service. A slight error in guessing my monthly payment was the only unpleasant surprise, but overall I enjoyed working with Moritz Chevy to get into a 39 month lease for a 2016 Cruze 2LT for less than what I was paying to purchase my 2010 Scion TC.

We had a fantastic experience dealing with Lyon over at Moritz Chevy...we had found the truck we liked at another dealership but was 4k more then Moritz...I contacted Lyon as Moritz and he put together the ultimate deal we could not turn down...very professional and upfront honest! No hidden fees or agenda! Went out of his way to make us happy. Then John in financing was just as awesome! He shopped around until he secured us the best lender and rate ! And my New Chevy 2500HD LTZ is fantastic! Could not be happier! Even the other dealerships said they could not come close to the great deal we got with Lyon at Moritz Chevrolet! ! Go see Lyon and tell him the Brewster's sent you!

I had a great buying experience at this dealership and with the sales person Patie Schoonover in particular. She helped me find a car with a very specific set of options and the dealership had it transferred to their location. During transit the car was damaged (small rock chip in the hood) and the dealership took care of it and made it right with no questions asked, and provided a loaner car while the car was in the body shop. Patie was communicative during this entire process, and made sure I was aware of the progress as the repair took place. The car also came with the wrong floor mats and again Patie and this dealership (I cannot remember the managers name) took care of it with no questions asked. I felt like I got a decent price on a brand new model year vehicle, and the financing at this dealership actually beat my credit union which was a pleasant surprise. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent customer support, all the way from the loaner dept, finance dept, sales manager, and especially form my salesperson Patie. Hopefully my service experience at this location will be as painless and pleasant as my buying experience.

I had the pleasure of meeting with John Gasaway on today. Mr. Gasaway might not have noticed but I was very nervous at the thought of purchasing a new car as the last time I purchased a car was in 2005. He was calm, down to earth and knowledgeable and that made for an awesome experience! He wasn't just a salesman trying to sell me a product, but had my best interest in mind. I would most definitely recommend Moritz and the services of Mr. Gasaway to any anyone I know!

John Gasaway should be commended. Even though I made it clear from the beginning that I was only in the looking and test drive phase of my search, I was never rushed by John or made to feel like he had better things to do or that I was wasting his time. Also, and probably MOST IMPORTANT, he listened to me, the customer, and responded accordingly. So many sales reps try to tell you what they think you should know or hear. John is a different and refreshing breed of salesman. I would very much recommend him and this dealership for anyone that wants to cut out a lot of the stressful craziness that is buying a vehicle.

I stopped by Mortiz on Saturday, and I was instantly greeted by a sales representative. John Gasaway approached me, and said ''how can I help you sir,'' with a tone that was sincere. Recently, I purchased a 2016 Mustang GT, but I had to test drive the new 2016 Camaro SS, so that I could finally put my mind at ease. I told John that I was not ready to make a purchase or trade-in, Today. However, John continued to have an upbeat attitude, and wanted to me to enjoy my experience with testing a new SS. John was insightful, courteous, and did not attempt to influence my decision in any matter. Simply stated, John lets the product speak for itself, via actions. On a final note, The 2016 Camaro SS was one if not the best driving experience that I have ever had. If upon chance, I stumbled across a pot of gold, without a doubt I would own both the Mustang and Camaro (Mustang for everyday, Camaro for track). John, ''I think you made the car accelerate a bit slower'' (lovable big-bodied joke).

This service department is by far the worst of the worst. We have had our 2015 Chevy 1500 Country truck sent in for oil changes with scheduled appointment and it still takes 8 hours to do it. Just purchased a 2015 Silverado LT 4X4 RockRidge with a price tag of $68,000. Now with only 8,000 miles the engine is shaking very badly until I put it in neutral and rev it up repeatedly, then it starts to smooth out but has the Check Engine light "on". Took it to Service this morning and Chris Lovelady told me they are very busy, would be later this evening before they could get to it. Asked me if I had an appointment? I said "I need an appointment for a brand new truck that I just bought from you and it wont hardly run and has the Check Engine light on"? I told him to just forget it, I'm leaving. He came out to my truck and asked if I wanted him to SEE if he could get me a loaner car.I'll never go back even though I bought it there.I'll find another dealershipRod Techmeyer

I am reporting on the service department. It i s absolutely horrible with the exception of - finally - a young man by the name of Chris. I made 4 call yesterday and 5 this morning and all I get is to be slammed through to a ringing phone that no one answers - even when I asked for the manager of Service - he too doesn't answer.. The lady who answers the phone when a customer calls in was in no mood to help just said "I am just the operator"I would be very hesitant to purchase a new car from Moritz if this is an example of your service after purchase. Al I am trying is to get a couple of recall notices taken care of and it has been a nightmare. I even made a trip down there only to be told I would have to have an appointment and since it is so difficult to get one - what is a customer to do!!Josephine

Next time I will purchase the part through another party and pay a muffler shop to swap out my Catalytic converter. I called a few shops once I finished the transaction and found they were much cheaper plus I was still allowed to keep my old converter after. But the dealership wanted me to pay THEM so I could keep MY old converter. The dealership is going to pretty much scrap my converter for the gold, and other precious metals in it, and make money off of it., or they may replace the bad components and sell it for brand new price again who knows but they are making money off of MY comverter. But I still have to pay full price for the new one and everything. What a big scam. The other muffler shops also offered to take off how much they charge if they could keep the old one. Talk about a deal!

I came to Moritz as the very first dealership I visited when I went to purchase my first vehicle this past week. TERRIBLE experience. Nobody came out onto the lot to greet us for about 10-15 minutes. First thing the guy does is take us into his office, which we did not want to do because we were interested in seeing what was on the lot and came with specific interests in mind. I told Justin that i was interested in the Equinox and the Cruze but he kept pushing the cruze over and over. Thankfully I had my future father-in-law with me to be a little more stern because this guy would have walked all over me. I ended up not liking the Cruze bc of how small it was but he kept referring me to it since it was on their spiff sheet. I test drove a 2015 Equinox and loved it, he told me the price was about $23K but that was from black friday, then said the price was $25K, couldnt keep his price straight. Then he asks if i qualify for supplier pricing, which i do because im a credit union member, but he didnt know what the supplier pricing would be and didnt want to bother to look. When he refused to look we told him thanks but we will take our business elsewhere and he jumped in the equinox and sped off, completely disrespectful. He was LAZY and totally uninterested in selling me what I actually wanted. Needless to say we did NOT purchase from Moritz will be sure to let everyone know to steer clear unless they want terrible service.

As American as Baseball, Apple Pie, and Chevrolet....Some of you will remember that advertising mantra of years gone by. Well, I love the Texas Rangers, can make a pretty good apple pie, and now I love my new Chevy Malibu. What an amazing experience - the best car purchasing experience I've ever had! A friend recommended the dealership and things could not have gone any smoother. Initially, I met with Jim Hardick, Monte Coon, and Brandon Barraza. At no time did I feel pressured or rushed. They took the time to understand what I wanted in a vehicle and what was in my price range. Ron Reed in Finance made that part of the transaction go smoothly. Brandon spent several hours making sure all the vehicle's features were demonstrated, including assisting me in setting up OnStar. Before I left I was introduced to Connie Duer in Service who also assured me not to hesitate to contact him if I had questions or needed anything. I had been driving a Toyota Camry and thought I would never own anything else. The Malibu's ride and drive, and the welcoming, friendly atmosphere at Moritz Chevrolet changed my mind.

This is about their New Sales Dept. Just dealt with these people. Took an hour to get there to waste 3 hours of our lives well never get back. 1st Red Flag: Salesman (Andy) walks up to us and immediately says, Um, I need to let you know that the price on the internet for the car was a mistake. This salesperson had been emailing with my husband back and forth all day and waits til we get all the way out there to tell us the price was a "MISTAKE." Says it has been corrected to about $2000 more than what it was being advertised at. Ummmmm, really? 2nd Red Flag: They would not, could not, refused, to give us the appraisal amounts on our 2 trade-ins until AFTER they knew the exact dollar and cent amount of our pay-offs. Really? Any other dealer weve dealt with didnt care how much we owed on our cars. What they were willing to give us for trade-in is what they were willing to give us, no matter what we owed on them. You give the person what their car is WORTH. 3rd Red Flag: I went in with print-outs of KBBs estimated trade-in values of both our trade-in vehicles. One showed $15,951 and one was $19,793; and I was being modest and used only the GOOD" condition option to get the value. not EXCELLENT and not VERY GOOD. Even though both vehicles ARE in excellent condition. AND I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE THIS FACT! They offered us $11,000 and $17,000. REALLY? The manager never once came out to speak to us and tell us why they were trying to rob us. I asked our salesman to go ask the manager if he would come up on the trade-in values and he did go ask (of course). He came back and said No, the manager wont budge. Again, no show of respect to us by coming out and speaking to us and let us know why he was being so GREEDY. I absolutely PROMISE you that they would have bought our vehicles from us at $11,000 and $17,000, and turned around and sold them on their used lot for at least $16,500 and $22,500. A $5,500 profit on EACH vehicle. Im sorry, Mr. Sales Manager, that you insisted on trying to hose us and make a killing on our cars. What happened to making a fair profit on each customer? Instead, you tried to make a KILLING on ONE customer. Or maybe you were just trying to make up for your $2,000 mistake on the price of your new car, plus some! We've purchased probably 25+ vehicles between me and my husband over the years, and this was the worst experience we've had. All other dealers have been very fair, have not used bait and switch tactics, nor have they based their valuation of our trade-in based on what we still owed on them. I want to use the word CROOKS!, but Im too nice. If you read this and STILL decide to buy from these people, then you have no one to blame but yourself. Youve been warned.

I purchased a 2009 traverse from Jerry's. Since that time it has been in the shop 17 times for 19 things. It is constantly being recalled. We finally met with Service manager. We were upset with the fact we had to replace the catalytic convertor at 85,000 miles. we have had several issues with engine misfires and more than likely caused it to go out prematurely. That repair cost $825. In May the oil pressure low indicator came on. They changed the oil???? Sent my husband on his way and the next day on my way to work it happened again. They kept the car over Memorial day weekend. Got it back, it was jerking at 45 and 65 mph. Got it in to shop June 12th. They replaced a coil. We started talking to Mr. Williams at that point. He told us we should think about trading it in. we explained our financial situation, it was not an option . we had one more year to pay it off and did not want to be upside down. He said he would talk to GM and see what he could do. We were optimistic about this after the meeting. Several days later he called and said GM would pay for our car payment or give us $1500 toward a trade in. We talked about it and wanted out of car. Mr.Williams actually paid our $100 copay on the repair of June 12th. We met again with Mr. Williams week of June 21. He felt that GMPP should pay for the catalytic convertor and would try to get it reimbursed. He called a few days later saying they would not cover it and would only do what we discussed previously. He walked us over to sales and had a salesman see if we could get financed and we are able to, but only a Malibu or another traverse. We filed with out attorney and have to wait until August 1st to see if we can buy a car. Then after neither Williams or GM would call us back I blasted them on Facebook for poor customer service. He called me and chewed me out for posting anything. Threw the fact that he paid $100 for my deductible back in my face, told me my husband was rude to him on the phone (he left a message) and we just wanted somebody to blame for our financial situation. I went off on him after he started yelling at me. Then he told me I was on my own. He would not help me anymore. I don't see he helped me at all except for the $100. Don't buy from them or take your car there for service. Rude managers.

Worst dearlership ever. I had an appointment to buy an Jeep SRT 8. I got their and the owner had the vehicle. I waited fifteen minutes and it finally arrived with all the owners clothes and golf bag. The manager told the owner didn't really want to sell the vehicle. This is a dealership. The vehicle had fifteen thousands miles on it. They gave an offer for a brand new vehicle. I left and would never go back.

Very poor customer service. After purchasing vehicle, I received 2 emails reminding me to fill out their customer satisfaction survey "completely satisfied", and exactly which questions were the most important to the salesman. I replied to the salesman that I wasn't completely satisfied because I found that our new Malibu wasn't equipped with a spare tire. That is now an option. Tim told me I should have said something before I bought it. I had no idea that I needed to look and see if a new car had a spare tire.He then blamed me because we had looked at several cars and I hadn't noticed the difference. We were offered a extended warranty when we bought the car. I assumed it was a GM warranty. Most all the signing done was on an electronic pad. When I got home and looked over the contract, I saw it was a third party warranty. After 2 weeks we returned to the dealership to cancel the warranty. (there was a 30 day cancellation period) After 2 months without getting a credit on our loan for the cancelled warranty, We called the warranty company and they had no record of the cancellation. We called the dealership' and they had no record of that either. After three months we got a recall notice over a module having to do with the eco system. It stated that we needed to contact our dealer, schedule an appointment for the repair which should take two hours for them to replace the part. We did that two weeks prior to the appointment. We live 85 miles from the dealership, so we took a day off to have the repair made. We left it that morning and they said they would call us. After 5 hours and no call, my wife called them. they said according to their tests our car did need the repair done stated in the recall letter, and they would have to order the part. I asked them why they didn't order the part when we informed them of our recall notice and scheduled the appointment. The service guy said GM wouldn't let them order the part unless they confirmed the car needed it. When I told them I would have it done somewhere else, they told me that they had already ordered the part for our VIN number, no other dealership could order one for us. Really bad place to do business!!!

Going to dealerships is never fun and easy, I had a horrible experience at #moritzchevy in Fort Worth. The price wasn't clear and the sales man and sales manager were extremely rude and wouldn't go down on price, not even 50 dollars!!!!! Even with tier one credit. I wouldn't recommend Moritz Chevy to anyone.

The reason I ended up at Moritz, which is approximately 30 miles away from my home, is because they had a car on the lot that matched the particular options I was looking for. I initially planned to let the "close to home" Chevy dealership arrange a dealer swap and purchase it from them however their "bottom line out the door price" was $ 900 higher than the "internet special" price listed on the Moritz website. Once I verified that the two quotes were for the exact same car (VIN), I called Moritz to confirm that the car was still available and that there would not be any "surprise" additional costs above the advertised price. The internet manager, Phil, assured me that the car was on the lot and that the advertised price was accurate. He also told me that the dealership was committed to a 100% customer satisfaction rating and they were well known for their "quick & easy" sales transactions.I told Phil I'd be out to look at the car that afternoon. He was there to greet me with a friendly hand shake and smile. He introduced me to DJ Garner who had the vehicle ready & waiting for me to test drive. I explained to both of them that I was going to purchase a car that day but I wanted to be up front and let them know that the Chevy was my second choice and although I'd more than likely be back later in the day to purchase it, my plan was to spend the afternoon trying to negotiate a "steal of a deaI" on my first choice, a Ford C-Max. While the C-Max was out of my price range, I figured that today (3/30) would be my best shot because not only was it the "end of the month" but it was also the "end of first quarter" and Ford would be reporting it's sales numbers on 4/2. Although Phil and DJ tried to convince me that I'd be wasting my time, they were respectful of my decision. Before I left, DJ offered to take my car over and get their trade in value for it. That way I'd have a complete picture to compare to any deal I would get at the Ford dealership. After hours of working out "almost deals" for the C-Max, I returned to Moritz just before closing time. Although it meant he would have to stay late, DJ welcomed me back with a smile. As we sat down to complete the paperwork, I discovered I did not have a copy of my current proof of insurance. While I was upset with myself for not being prepared, DJ told me not to worry and he took charge of the situation by contacting State Farm's customer service center and had them FAX over a copy of my insurance card. Once the paperwork was complete, DJ walked me over to an adjacent building dedicated to the finance department. Within five minutes, I was greeted by Ron Reed who invited me back to his office to go over the financing. Although I had been pre-approved for the car loan at my credit union, I did not have all of the required documentation. I apologized and figured I'd have to come back on Monday to finalize the deal. Ron asked if I'd be interested in obtaining a competitive loan that would permit me to close the deal tonight. I was skeptical about getting a competitive offer (my credit rating is good but not great) but told him to give it a shot. He told me to sit tight and returned in less than 5 minutes with a smile on his face. At 8:30 PM on Saturday evening, he had found me a loan at a better rate than I had received at the credit union. After scrutinizing all the fine print, I signed off on the loan which was "better than competitive" to the credit union. Before driving off in my new car, I made arrangements with DJ to come back on Monday in order to transfer my belongings from the old car and to get the full scale orientation on the new car.The entire experience was wonderful. I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a Chevy.

I had a very pleasant experience with this dealership. My credit is troublesome at best and they were able to work with us and get me into the car I wanted.I walked away with a 2009 vehicle with only 11k miles on it.James Bush my sales associate was very helpful and friendly without being pushy and the financing staff handled everything quickly and proffesionaly.I wouldnt hesitate to buy another car from them in the future.

I would give them ZERO if it was possible. I DID NOT EVEN BUY A CAR FROM THEM and BOTH myself and my wife ARE HAVING CREDIT PULLED BY THIS DEALER EVERY WEEK.despite the fact that I cancelled everything BEFORE IT WAS A DEAL! I have called several people WHO HAVE BEEN UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO STOP THE FINANCE DEPT. PULLING MY CREDIT. This should be AGAINST THE LAW!! These people are acting CRIMINALLY! I am UNABLE TO QUALIFY for credit with SO MANY OF THEIR MALICIOUS INQUIRIES!! We were going to have a dealuntil I inspected their car!! It had a bent rim, messed up undercarriage and had many items broken or in disrepair on the inside of the vehicle. We filled out an app and took a test drive. I told them to forget itso WHY WOULD THEY EVEN PULL THE CREDIT? I have spoken to several people who say they will, "ensure this does not happen again." BALONEY!! They next day I get more turn downs coming from THEIR LENDERS!! This has happened 4 times nowit is NOT an accident. DO NOT BECOME THEIR NEXT VICTIM!! I should have READ THEIR REVIEWS!! So many people find them disgusting, how are they still in business? Their cars may not be the ONLY ACCIDENTS on the lot IF you do NOT HEED THESE WARNINGS!! This dealer is Very Bad and that is NOT BY ACCIDENT! Don't BE A VICTIM...go to another dealer! Otherwise, whether you buy or not - you may have issues as a result!

The service manager is the worst I have ever dealt with regarding a domestic auto. He basically told me because I didn't buy my vehicle at that dealership he wasn't willing to work with me on an issue regarding my vehicle. The warranty had barely expired, but because I didn't get my oil changed at the dealership or buy my tires from the dealership, etc., he would not "good faith" the warranty even though it was a known problem with my vehicle. For someone that wants repeat business this was not the way to go about it! I took it to a GMC dealer down the street and they took care of it, no problem!! I will never take my car back to Moritz and will not recommend this dealership to anyone.
