Matt and the rest of the team at Morong Brunswick made my first time buyer experience simple and enjoyable. I was thrilled with how easily the process unfolded- from the sales contracts to the finances to driving the car off the lot. Matt also checked in several times after I purchased my vehicle, just to make sure that I was happy and satisfied with the car. As far as I'm concerned, the most effective sales people are those that work with you collaboratively to fulfill your needs, and those that refrain from any of the more stereotypical or manipulative sales techniques. Doing business with Matt was like having a chat with a friend- easy and fun! I will always recommend Morong Brunswick to prospective buyers.

My wife needed a new car so I called around and ended up at Morong Brunswick. Larry Davis & Matt Brown were so easy to work with and helped us get the best deal ever on a new VW Passat. I would recommend Morong Brunswick to anyone looking for a new or used car.

Having purchased numerous cars in my car-driving life, I have had good buying experiences and not so good buying experiences. My recent car buying experience with Matt Brown at Morong Brunswick was one of the easiest and most pleasant experiences of them all. My initial contact with Matt was via email and my first impression was of someone who answered my questions directly and responded promptly to my inquiries. Upon meeting Matt in person, my impressions were confirmed. He is a "regular guy," in every positive sense of the word, and conveyed trust and directness from the beginning. We've purchased many cars from many different dealers over the years, but this was a very different atmosphere. The Sales Manger Matt Brown seems to be the most laid back but effective Salesman we have encountered. Provided us with several cars to test drive, some even repetitively. Greeted us after each driving event and provided a new vehicle running and ready to go. Pricing was more then competitive and felt the entire transaction was a fair and honest deal. Delivery and paperwork was a breeze. Recommend to anyone looking for a VW Product to see Matt Brown at Morong Volkswagen. Thanks Matt, it was a pleasure.

Have been a Brunswick Morong VW customer for many years. Left briefly to try a hybrid with another dealership before they started making a Jetta hybrid and came back to Morong just as soon an those were available. The staff--sales and service--are terrific here. The Jetta hybrid is wonderful--a hybrid for fuel economy and carbon footprint, but a lot more pick-up, fun to drive and a lot sturdier! Highly recommend this dealership; don't think I'll ever venture away again. Love VW and get great service here. Great to get good service and pick up a clean car, also to have a loaner when a longer service in needed (from my past experience). Currently haven't needed service for my Jetta hybrid but follow up on the vehicle--with getting rubber mats 8 requested, checking on how I'm doing-- has been great.

This was the fourth dealer we visited (on the way home from another further away). We bought our previous VW here but had problems with the Service Dept. Matt Brown was a grown up, not interested in pushing us or in doing fancy deals to get the sale. Instead it was calm, organized and comfortable. I believe we go the correct price after checking with several online sites. Follow up has been good and the Service Dept under new management looks promising.

I needed a car and within maybe a day or two Mr. Brown had called me back saying he had something. Not only was it the car I needed but it's what I wanted AND for a great price. I have had it a year now and had no problems with it al all. I would highly recommend going to this dealership.I fully trust Mr. Brown and can't thank him enough.

Morong has consistently been flexible about scheduling service appointments -- and providing no-cost loaners. The staff is friendly; the work always gets done well -- and they keep my Jetta running like it should. When trouble crops up, they're great at explaining it, and offering options. My next car will be a VW and it will come from Morong, and they will service it.

Extremely high pressure sales. I was upfront that I was looking and was not buying a car on the day I went to the dealership. I drove a couple cars and they were okay but I wasn't super excited about them. Then the pressure began. They started with the usual about how the car won't be there when I return because it is such great deal etc. I told them if that is true then they don't need to worry about me and they will still get the car sold. Again, I said I had to bring my wife in to see what she thought about the cars and I wanted to research the cars to see what they are worth and what kind of reviews they have. The cars were both Mazdas and I don't know anyone who has a Mazda so I needed to research. They "assured" me that they were great cars so "what is the problem", they asked. I told them that as I said, I was just starting my search and not buying today. They bring out the finance person anyway and I told him the same thing. He started yelling at me, yes.....yelling, that it would be stupid for me to walk away from this deal because it will be gone soon. I told him I am not interested in being treated the way they were treating me and if he thought that kind of "service" would sell me a car then he was mistaken. I got up and left and will never consider buying from Morong again.
