This was the best experience that I have had when buying a new car. My daughter and I both purchased cars from Andy and he was beyond helpful!!!!!! We had checked out another VW dealership and the man there was so pushy so we decided to stop at the Falmouth dealership before changing brands of cars..Andy was the BEST!!!! He is helpful honest and very knowledgeable. I highly highly recommend Andy and this dealership!!!!!

Horrible experience there today. Long story shorter...I told the salesmen that I was on my way to buy, put a plate on it and set it aside. I drove a similar one the day before.I wanted the one at Morong because of color and less miles. Got there shortly after and a different sales lady stole the car out from the salesmen knowing I was on the way.The salesmen said nobody was on the lot when I called and he would. I was there in less than 15 min.I got there and the lady was pulling the car out.The people there took out the car and wanted to see if they would give them what they wanted for their trade.Morong wanted me to wait to see if they took delivery. Definitely not!!They lost a definite sale and any future buisness! The manager said customers on the lot are priority,even after I explained the situation of me calling and saying I was on the way.Not a good way to be treated. Imagine what their service is like if this is how the sales side is!!

My wife brought in a Miata with only 44,000 miles that had a battery that would not hold a charge because it had a parasite in it. It only needed a battery replacement. The car is only used in the summer is always garaged when not used. Her bill was $547.24 because they replaced a 'worn' SERP belt which should have lasted 70- 100,000 miles and did almost an hour of 'diagnostics' on the electrical system that wasn't needed. The prices quoted on the internet for these services is $325.00 even if we did need them which we didn't. I spoke to the service manage and he would only give credit for a future oil change. Don't go there.

I'm a current VW TDI owner who is doing a buyback. I have had 2 VWs and loved their driveability, comfort, and ability to purchase them in a manual transmission still, as I love to row my own gears.I contacted Morong first via the internet expressing some interest in driving the 2017 Golf Sportwagen, and a Mazda CX-5 (though they didn't have one in a manual, I just wanted to see how they drive). Ashley was great, and we set up a time for me to swing in the following day.I arrived (amidst a solid rainstorm!) and met with Dan, my salesman. Both cars were ready for my visit. Dan and I took both for a spin, and we talked car shop talk. It was quite fun. After the drives, we sat down, and there was no pressure. I explained to Dan that I was still shopping, and actually had an appointment the following day at a different dealer. No worries, but I'll see what we can come up for you in terms of a price, I was told.That evening, after batting some things around with my wife, I found some extremely low prices for manual Golf sportwagens at a dealer in MA. Just for the heck of it, I emailed Dan that evening asking of they might be able to match it. The following morning, I was informed yes, and sent a total bill with taxes, etc included. Everything honest and upfront.We went in, met with Dan, closed the deal, and drove off in our new GSW. Dan has since followed up asking how everything has been and if we need anything.This was by far one of my most pleasurable buying experiences. Thanks to Dan and all at the Morong Falmouth Team for making buying a car easy and actually fun (and saving me a drive to MA!!)

My salesman , Ted Cianchette, was most helpful in my process to choose a new vehicle. Ted allowed my husband, son and myself to visit the dealership on more than one occasion and drive several cars on our own without salesman pressure, when I would come back he would answer all of my questions in an informative way with no pressure helping me to make my decision to purchase the Audi Q5. Once I made my decision he then took us through the process again giving many options and explaining the process in detail, this was also fast and efficient. Ted spent time with me prior to leaving with my new car to explain the cars functions etc. in detail without going overboard. I an in hopes that service will go just as well as sale. He is not just a good salesman he is a kind and considerate individual and an asset to Morong Falmouth. I am very pleased with my decision to purchase the Audi Q5 as it meets all of my needs in a car and most of all I fell safe and confident driving it. Thank you to all involved !

I am a loyal Morong and VW customer but my last experience was just the best. I have leased my last 2 cars from my hero, Ted Cianchette. Ted contacted me because my lease was coming due - my plan was to buy my car but turns out it is cheaper to lease a new car (of course it is...) so Ted had my new car already picked out when I came in to talk - I need a stick which is hard to come by in ME but he had it all ready for me and had researched what I wanted/needed before I even walked in the door!!! It was easy -peasy and he took the time to go through the whole process - I even met James Bond's younger look alike - but that's a different story. He also had to hook up my flip phone (!) and explain that whole process... I love Morong, I love VW and I love Ted!!!

For awhile I had no complaints, but the following service leaves a really poor taste in my mouth. Here is the email I sent to the service departed about my concerns:I recently decided to bring my car in for some scheduled maintenance that just so happened to be the first time out of warranty. My reasons for doing this were I had an upcoming trip planned that would involve a good amount of driving and according to the cars service screen it was about time. I showed up to the dealership to drop my car off and mentioned the few additional concerns I had: needs a new inspection sticker, I have occasionally been getting sporadic status warnings such as "check front right side light" and "check rear right side light" even though all the lights appeared to be working, and lastly I needed to purchase an extra tire bolt as I had discovered one was mysteriously missing when I switched off to my winter tires.I get a call that afternoon saying they discovered my exhaust is basically about to fall off and would I like them to fix it today for X amount of money, to which I tell them go for it. Shortly thereafter I'm called again and told they need to order some parts to do the do the water pump and exhaust fixes that are under warranty/recall so they'd like to keep the car for the weekend. As is seemed like I didn't have much choice in the situation now I again say fine.I call Monday around noon to see if it is ready to be picked up and I'm told not yet, but if I show up before closing tonight I should be able to pick it up. So I go to pick up the car and they are just about closed, two people waiting for me before locking up as they decided to close early due to a snow storm, as soon as I come in I'm told my car is already running as they were getting ready to pull it into the garage for the night in case I didn't make it and he's gotta get going, but have a nice night.As soon as I get in I notice the warning light saying "check front right side light" is still on. I then look at my service receipt and notice they changed the front right headlight which obviously didn't fix the problem. They also never gave me a new inspection sticker, and says they replaced two missing bolts (even though I only needed one) which is $30.50 in parts/fees. to insert and tighten one said bolt, even though part of my service was a tire rotation.I call back two days later to setup a follow up appointment so that they can do the inspection, check out the light situation (I'm told I will be billed for an hour of "electrical diagnosis time" and hopefully they can figure out the problem), as well as mention that I'm getting some really bad cabin/tire noise now that sounds like its coming from the front driver's side wheel. Girl on the phone tells me the tire noise is due to the rotation and uneven wear on the tires, but it'll go away. I call back two days later because the noises are getting very loud and I'm concerned it might be a wheel bearing, but my appointment isn't until next week still. Again I'm told not to worry, it is definitely from rotating the tires and not a bad wheel bearing and it'll go away once the tires wear evenly.I show up to my scheduled appointment, and ask how long it'll take since I need to go to work that afternoon. I'm told one maybe two hours. Three hours later I go to check in as its now less than one hour from when I need to go to work. I'm told that they haven't started but I'm up next. I say "just give me my keys please, I need to get to work." Why did I schedule an appointment in the morning if they were just going to wait until the afternoon to start?The tire noise at this point was unbearably loud and vibrating the entire cabin. I decided winter was over, maybe if I switch off my winter wheels over I can at least rule out the tire rotation as the cause. I changed the other three wheels first and then as soon as I jacked up the front right side the whole wheel shifted. Turns out 3 out of 5 of the bolts were VERY lose and the noises were most likely coming from the tire shifting side to side as it rotated. Both the bolts and area around the bolt holes have been rubbed down to a very high polish now due to all of the constant friction.So now I'm annoyed that they possibly put me in serious danger, and basically did almost nothing I asked of them yet charged me hundreds of dollars. I also easy figured out the light issue myself, my right side marker is out. Seems like the kind of thing they should have checked before just replacing the headlight (about $50.02 for parts and labor).TL:DR They proved to be mostly incompetent, all the while charging me hundreds of dollars.I shared the above with their service manager, he admitted they were at fault, and asked what they could do to try and keep me as a customer. Told them I'd like to be refunded for all the unnecessary charges, which seemed fair since THEY COULD HAVE KILLED ME.Two weeks of silence. And here we are.

I stopped by Morong on a whim hoping they'd have a used Tiguan for me to test drive. As it turns out, not only did they have one, but they had THE one that had all the amenities I was looking for. After taking it for a test drive, sleeping on it a night and reading reviews, I went back the next day to buy it. Andy Rogers answered every question I had. Everyone at the dealership was polite, friendly, and the entire experience was very casual and no pressure. Each time I had any questions, Andy was very quick to reply by email, and very thorough with his answers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Morong to my friends and family.

I had a very quick, painless and smooth car buying experience at Morong. From the time it took me to decide to buy to the time I drove off the lot was just a few hours, and most of the time was me dealing with my bank back and forth through emails. Andy Rogers is very good at what he does, and my experience with Matt in the finance department was just as smooth. This is a great dealership that cares greatly about customer satisfaction, not just making a sale.

I love my car. I purchased a 2012 GLI in October of 2014 and have been very pleased with it. The buying experience was not bad at all, but I would expect anyone to be on their A-game to make a sale. The experience with the dealership/service center after the purchase is a different story. It seems to be impossible to get a call back, whether to schedule maintenance or to ask a question. I have called and been promised a callback at least five times since the purchase of the vehicle. I have received ZERO callbacks. You have to consistently call them and hope that the person or department that you need can take the call when you need them to. I fully understand that it is impossible to take every call right when it comes in, but I also know that it is completely unprofessional to promise a call back and never make that call. It's to the point where I don't even bother anymore. I had scheduled maintenance done during the summer of 2015 at the service center in Falmouth. The summer months can be hot, so I wore a tank top that day. Both of my arms are thoroughly tattooed (high quality work $$$ too, but that shouldn't make a difference anyways). I received many "looks" from front desk staff, including one of the owner's sons, during that visit; I can only guess that it is because of my tattoos. Even if someone was dirty and dressed in rags, if they spent the $20k (or any amount for that matter) on a car from the dealership like I did, I would expect them to be treated with the utmost respect that any paying customer deserves. The only reason I am giving this review two stars instead of one, is because I was sold a quality vehicle. The dealership gave me a fair price on my trade-in and helped me finance the new vehicle through Chase. To be treated so well when you buy the car, only to be treated so poorly after the purchase is extremely frustrating. I will be doing my scheduled maintenance at a different VW dealership from now on.

I noted another review that described this dealership as "old-time". This is very apt - the lack of implementation of online tools is emblematic of their overall attitude toward customers. My buying experience back in 2008 was unpleasant, but as long as my car was under warranty I used their service department. Now that I am paying for their ineptitude I am feeling more strongly about my overall experience. I've dealt with cars not ready when promised, cars not washed when picked up, bewildering explanations of service, and a general lack of professionalism (especially compared to the Volvo dealer where I take my other car). Today's experience, though, with a dogmatic service manager named Phil was beyond the pale. After he offering four or five implausible explanations for my rear brakes requiring service before my front brakes did, he admitted that he had no plausible explanation but said that he wasn't going to give away any work. No attempt to contact management, no moving the problem to VW, no attempt to empathize with the customer - just, basically, a shrug of the shoulders and the suggestion (after I lost my temper) that I should pay my bill, leave, and not come back.With a brand in as bad trouble as VW is, you'd think that everyone associated with it would be trying to keep customers rather than alienate them. Not Phil! Not Morong!It is clearly time for Phil to retire, and for me to trade my VW for a different brand. I know that many of you have had good experiences with Morong (I had some, too) realize that at some point in the future you will experience the intransigence and bad customer service (and, possibly, dishonesty) that I did - it is waiting for you down the line. Frankly, I was shocked.

We recently purchased both a new Audi and a used vehicle for our teenage daughter. Greg Copenhagen was great to work with; making our purchases very easy. There was no pressure to buy, he listened, paid attention to the needs of our large family and was very patient with us when we tried and retried several vehicles before making a final decision. After purchasing our Audi we went back and discussed purchasing a used vehicle for our daughter. Again, no pressure to buy. He knew what we were looking for and kept us updated when a vehicle came in that he knew we'd be interested in. Eliminating the hassle of having to check/research on a daily/weekly basis. I was in a car accident and needed a new car and found one on Morong Falmouth's site and I wanted it. It was a pretty easy sale for them. Big mistake. Andy was the opitomy of a fast talking salesman and didn't come through with what he promised. This was back on August 22nd and I was promised a second key, websites, and some ideas to fix the rip in the seat. I don't want anything but my second key. Who sells a car with one key? They apparently do. It is now October 13th, I have been checking in every few weeks and I was apparently forgotten about since I have to keep calling for it. I have gotten attitude when all I want is a second key. It's been 2 months and I am not being up to date with what's going on. This is absurd. It shouldnt take this long for a key. I have never been treated like this. I have bought a lot of cars and this is the worst dealership yet. I will never buy from here again or recommend it. Worst experience ever.

I had been looking or a first car for over a year and finally settled on a 2015 VW Beetle Classic. After hours of research I found the best deal I had ever seen on their website. I quickly called with my mother and we spent the next few days talking about prices, and they were so nice! We live in northern Maine so we decided to pick it up in two weeks. In our final phone call I mentioned that I had prom that weekend so I would pick in up in early June, they were so amazing that he said he would drive it up to my small town the next day. I had my car for prom and couldn't be happier with my experience.

After months of searching for used cars and exploring different lease options where advertised deals never seemed to materialize in reality, my husband and I were feeling a great deal of fatigue and more than a little frustration in our search to replace our old Subaru. We had just missed what seemed like several great deals on used cars listed at Morong (we learned quickly that car might only last a few hours because people like us who were searching were really keeping up with new listings and knew a great deal when they saw one) but were lucky enough to catch a new listing on a Volvo XC-90 early. I began with a quick internet chat to confirm that the vehicle was still available and got a very prompt follow-up call from Andy Rodgers. He was bright, professional, personable and direct - what a breath of fresh air! Andy arranged and almost immediate test-drive and took a considerable amount of time to answer all of our questions both patiently and very competently. We made a deposit on the spot. The rest of our transaction was smooth and efficient and just as importantly, straightforward. When Andy said he would do something, he followed through quickly, thoroughly and cheerfully. We very much enjoyed all of our interactions with him and appreciated his level of knowledge, professionalism and genuine friendliness.

I don't know where to begin but this truly was the best experience I have ever had! Andy Rogers was outstanding in patience (from when I met him on my first visit to Morong until the time I actually purchased a vehicle was three months) We considered different vehicles as well as lease vs. purchase He was extremely knowledgeable about each vehicle and took time to explain all the financing options. He is a genuine individual who did not put pressure on, but worked very hard to do everything right. He did all these things while clearly juggling many priorities at work - but he always made us feel as though we were still the only focus he had. Because of his naturally sincere manner, I decided that I would buy my next vehicle from him and three months later, it all came together. He went above and beyond in every aspect of the process from beginning to end.. I can't say enough good about Andy - he is a natural and works harder than anyone we've encountered in 35 plus years of buying cars. Two other outstanding employees we dealt with were Parker and David for the financing part. They too did not make us feel pressured or rushed in any way, These individuals make you want to do business with Morong. They made certain we were happy with our choice - they didn't just try to make the sale. I also have to say the detailing of the 2012 Toureg was perfect - it looked like a brand new vehicle the night we picked it up - it was beautiful and I'm very particular so that was important to me! We are extremely happy with the Toureg - it is everything Andy said it would be - it is solid, fun to drive, great in the snow, and very much a luxury vehicle. I can't thank Andy enough, and I have sung his praises to many friends and will continue to do so if anyone I know is in the market for a vehicle. Morong is very fortunate to have him represent them.

I don't want to bore anyone with the backstory - but let's just say we did our homework this time around when considering a vehicle purchase. We visited many dealerships- we held a firm budget - and we wanted to come out of this process with a new vehicle and feeling like we got a great deal. That is exactly what I got from the Morong Falmouth team. We leased a 2015 Tiguan, and from the first meeting with Andy through driving off with our new vehicle all I can say is that I enjoyed every aspect of it. I whole heartedly did not think "enjoyable experience" and "car buying" could EVER go together. That was before I met the Morong team. Andy is the most genuine car salesman I have had the pleasure of dealing with. He is as professional and straight forward and polite as one can be. He made sure the vehicle was the right fit first and foremost, and then made sure the pricing was going to work. He had no interest in selling us any car except the one that we would be most happy with. Once we knew the Tiguan was that car, he worked with Anne Cote to make sure we were in our budget. From a buyers perspective I think we went in pretty firm with our expectations. They did not judge us for being aggressive as most dealership do. They just worked with us. They took the approach that "if we can make this work, we will." And they did. I can not speak highly enough on the work Andy did to help us out. And also, Anne Cote was fantastic to deal with. I have not met a sales manager that I felt actually cared about the customer. But she does and it's transparent in her interactions. There is nothing fake about her. Again, I was very skeptical as we started to explore a new vehicle. I used to laugh at commercials where customers say they had "fun" buying a car. However I can consider myself lucky to have dealt with Morong this time around. I truly enjoyed the experience. It was stress free and I got a very good deal - and I met two fantastic folks along the way. I only hope more folks will go to Morong to enjoy the same experience.

I reached out to Parker Sowles at this dealership on Thursday morning about a Volkswagen Golf and scheduled a test drive for that afternoon on my way home from work. I had previously done my research so I knew what I wanted and as long as the trade-in price on my current car was in the ballpark I had every intention of purchasing.I showed up in the evening, test drove the car, and agreed to purchase it shortly thereafter. Due to it being late in the day I suggested we sign whatever needs to be signed to bind the purchase and then finish the paperwork the following day. I told Andy what kind of financing I could get through my credit union and gave them the chance to beat it, which Matt Sowles was able to do. I came back the next day, finished up the paperwork in a few minutes, and after a thorough explanation of the car by Andy Rogers I was happily on my way. I was never pressured by anyone and felt generally appreciated by the entire staff. There wasn't any of that fake salesmanship to get my money, they wanted my business and wanted me to be sure that I wanted to give it to them. A great experience all around and I have no doubt where I'll go first the the next time I'm in the market for a Volkswagen.

I just purchased my fifth new vehicle from the Morong dealership in Falmouth, Maine. Once again I had an absolutely terrific experience. My new car ( an Opera Red 2104 Passat SE, TSI w/5 speed manual ) is actually the 27th new vehicle I've purchased in my 45 years of driving. As a "car guy", who drives 3-4 times the average annual mileage of most drivers, I've clearly had plenty of experience with automobile dealerships over the years. I can state categorically that my experience at the Morong Falmouth dealership has been consistently excellent. The facility is spotless and up to date. The sales and service staff are unfailingly knowledgable, personable, prompt, fair and efficient. I've enthusiastically recommended this dealership many times in the past and will continue to do so in the future. In my opinion Morong's in Falmouth is exactly what a car dealership should be!

After coming from another dealership where I had a horrible experience, I found Morong very welcoming. The building was very clean with an excellent place for my kids to play. I was able to take the car for a long test drive, to really feel it out. Once I decided it was what I wanted, I was worried because our credit wasn't the best. Andy was awesome, he was very knowledgeable and honest when answering my questions. The chat with Andy online is what lead me to visit the dealership in person. My most recent interaction with Morong VW Falmouth was to buy a certified VW Golf TDI. I worked with Andy Rogers in the internet department, and highly recommend anyone considering a car work through him or the rest of the internet team (Steve Giftos, Parker Sowles; it's too bad they're tucked away in a back corner of the building!). Andy provided truly excellent customer service, including picking me up at my office twice in the same day due to my schedule of meetings, and Matt Sowles (finance) ensured the time I was able to be at the dealership was used wisely. All the details fell easily together for a seamless process and timely same-day transaction. Andy made sure I was comfortable with the entire process, from transparency of financing details and paperwork, through to the car's actual functionality, buttons, and phone/Bluetooth connectivity. Overall, the customer service from Andy and Matt was a welcome change from historical interactions experienced at other Maine dealerships (VW or otherwise).

Was looking for a used Mazda Miata on line and found an unbelievably low mileage model. Called and agreed to come up (from out of state ) for a test drive with an agreed upon price. Came up with a cashiers check and found every thing they had said was true, car was better than I expected. I have a past history with Morong-Falmouth! I purchased my first Jetta from Morong-Falmouth in the 1980's-it was a 4 door sedan and a lovely shade of blue. I loved that car, but eventually passed it on to my step daughter, when I purchased another Jetta. A lovely color called Sequoia Green! Approx. one month ago, I dropped into Morong-Falmouth where I spoke with Parker Sowles; who then suggested I drive a Jetta and a Passat. I fell in love with the Passat, but decided to discuss the purchase of the car with my husband. I was hesitant because of the cost. We returned to Morong-Falmouth where we discussed a Jetta and a Passat with Steve Giftosl He, as well as Parker, treated us with courtesy and patience (we are in our 70s) as well as everyone we met at Morongs. I couldn't find my drivers license and was embarrassed, but Steve was very diplomatic and patient about my problem, which was eventually solved. So, the entire time Parker, Steve and Matt Sowles were very encouraging during the process of my purchasing the car. Steve and Andy went over and above the call of duty. We purchased a 2005 Toyota Corolla which had the studded snow tires still on them. They contacted the former owner and was able to get the summer tires back. It was very easy and enjoyable process overall. I would highly recommend the internet team at Morong.

I am from German and very picky about quality and service. My experience with Phil was great. He was not pushing nor trying to force me into a contract like many other dealers try to do like: if you sign today, this is the deal. He was a gentleman, answering my questions, giving me solutions and providing all information I was interested in. Negotiation belongs to the business but in the end I had the price I wanted. This is the way to have a wonderful buying experience. Plus, I drive an VW again. What else fits a German?!

My buying experience started with a chat through the Morong website that resulted in an immediate phone call from Andy with information. He answered a few of my questions and we set an appointment set for 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning. When I showed up, Andy was completely prepared for our meeting and had the car ready for a test drive. My offer under the average price (I did my own research through Consumer Reports and checked with several other dealers) was accepted after only one go round of negotiations and the vehicle was delivered by Noon. My total time commitment for test drive, paperwork and delivery was under 4 hours! What a time saver!!

Morong VW in Falmouth ripped me off multiple times. They lied about my brakes and tried to get me to replace them. A second opinion proved they were lying. 9 month later I got two brake pads replaced, not the full brakes & struts Morong said I needed to replace "right away".I then brought my VW in for a warranty recall. Two weekend after they did it my car died in the middle of nowhere, have to be towed 100 miles and they found that parts were mysteriously missing from the car.Avoid this shop at all costs!

Incredibly friendly, low pressure attitude here. They really took care of us, and we have zero complaints. We were treated very well by everyone, and I'd highly recommend Phil Chouinard as your salesman and Dave Hellin as your finance manager. Even after our paperwork was signed, Phil took time with us to show us all the gadgetry of the new vehicle so we could enjoy it. They cleaned the car very well and it runs great! No worries at all.

I shopped online and found the perfect car at morong.com...I sent an email to the Internet Team on Sunday night and first thing on Monday, I received a call from Steve. His friendly and professional demeanor set my mind at ease. I set up a test drive for the end of the day and drove away with my new, used BMW! The car I have always wanted, but never thought would be in reach...The Morong Team made it happen with low interest rate and comfortable payments. The thought of buying a car was intimidating, but everyone was so helpful, and answered all my questions, no matter how silly! This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Morong and definitely will return when I need another vehicle! Great family business with excellent customer service! Morong-Falmouth is wonderful. My previous experiences with automotive dealerships had harden my view of them as adversarial, gatekeepers to a particular car I might want to purchase at a reasonable price. Not to diminish real cases of PTSD, however, I seem to be triggered from my times at other dealerships in both Maine and the D.C. area. Having been held hostage on high pressure sales floors where every option and item has be be run by, and signed off on by a manger at a elevated platform overlooking the staff. Seriously? My experience at Morong-Falmouth was nothing like that! I worked with Jake, who really impressed me he worked to locate a reliable used van for my family. Jake, while being extremely considerate of my time, couldn't save himself from sharing his enthusiasm for the VWs and Audis that headline at the dealership. What surprised me was his care to learning the features and intricacies of the used vehicles he lined up for our test drives. Jake loves cars. We would talk about the price and value of each option. I would have a concern and he would see what kind of deal would work with his manager. One time into the other office was all it took. I could tell Jake had come back to me with the absolute best offer possible. We had a deal on a one vehicle lined up when my stepson noticed one of their seemingly frequent price drops on another. Jake was only too happy to change gears, even if it meant at times following me and my three year old around the dealerships play area. I would honestly say that Jake and Morong-Falmouth were my friends in the car buy process by the time we signed the papers on a newer model preowed Sienna for an awesome price.

I am a life-long VW/Audi owner and I had been looking for a replacement of my A4 for several months. I had a hard time deciding and finding what I wanted (a manual S4 or V6 Q5) and really wondering if I was ready to give up my A4. I was a little reluctant of buying a Porsche because of the distance I am from Morong service (90 miles), but I decided to give it try and ended up test driving a few used Cayennes at Morong. The test driving and deciding spanned several months in which Parker and Steve were fabulous to work with and the email communication was great. Their patience was much appreciated as I finally decided a Porsche Cayenne was for me. They were easy to work with making the buying experience very good. I had an overall great experience at Morong and can see myself buying there in the future.

We came to Morong because I had a great experience w/ a purchase about 4 yrs. ago. We have been to MANY other dealerships in the area, and it's pretty common for us to pass up a car because of the way the sales reps tend to handle things. Our sales rep at Morong, Jake, was great- went out of his way to answer our questions and make sure we were getting what we wanted, AND what we wanted to pay. We ended up buying 2 vehicles in one sale, and would definitely come back to Morong in the future.

I love my new Mazda3 Hatchback! Jake Couch is a great representative for Morong as he is very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable about the car. After owning a Boxter since 2003, we felt the time had come for a change. We returned to Morong for what turned out to be our final Porsche service ( great service dept.) and met Jake Couch across Rte. 1 in the sales area. Jake made the car buying experience more than pleasant. We tried several VW models until Jake pointed out an EOS. His knowledge of all the cars we tried was exceptional. The give and take of the trade process never became testy. We ageed on a price and painlessly set up the remaining financing details. By the time all this was done we were at home 200 miles away. Jake delivered the car to our home on his day off and spent over an hour helping us become familiar with the many amazing, but unfamiliar to us,features of the EOS. He took our trade-in back to Falmouth and has continued to educate us remotely and answer any concerns we have had. Our experience at Morongs was outstanding and I am certain Jake couch was the main reason for it.

We purchased a Jetta Sportwagen at the end of August 2013. Jake at Morong was able to offer us a price thousands of dollars under what our local dealer could, and Morong gave us a much better price for our trade. It was a busy weekend at the dealership, and it took several hours to complete the purchase, but everyone was very polite, and they even had decent food for customers who were there through dinner. They were able to get exactly the car we wanted, answer all of our questions, and offered pricing that was both competitive and transparent.

I gave these guys a when I spotted a car they had on sale online with a marked down price on a Saturday. I called the next Monday and a pleasant voice identified himself as Phil Chouinard. He explained into detail all I needed about the car that I was interested. it was a good bargain and we agreed on a commitment. He was quick in supplying the required information that the bank needed and was in touch with me confirming and reconfirming with me all the necessary information with me. The next day, Tuesday, I drove over from Massachusetts to Falmouth Maine to take possession of my vehicle, an Audi. It was the smoothest transaction ever. My friend was happy at the cordial treatment and the bargain I got and was allover their lot inspecting cars and making notes for future buys. I definitely will recommend Morong Falmouth to new and used car buyers. And Maine is such a clean and attractive state to drive in so go check them out.

I bought my 2013 VW Jetta sportwagen at Morong from Parker Sowles, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Since I was buying new, I had the opportunity to compare the exact same car at different dealerships around southern Maine and New Hampshire. The reason I bought at Morong was because of Parker. His friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed sales style really made the buying process enjoyable. He developed a great personal relationship with me, and was always available to answer any of my questions. He made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase, and I was especially impressed with his attention to detail. When I went to pick up my new VW, he noticed some "lot damage" on the rear bumper. He insisted I bring the car back and have the minor damage fixed, which I did. It was fantastic service, and I plan on returning to Parker for my next purchase.

I highly recommend Morong Falmouth for any and all people looking to buy and new, used or lease. I have bought four cars from them because they continue to be knowledgeable, friendly, and consistant. Did I mention the prices are ALWAYS better than other dealerships I compared rates to? I went into other local dealerships in Greater Portland area to see if I could find the best price and what I ended up finding out, was that Morong actually offered the most affordable prices. I like how this is a smaller family business because when I go there I feel like I am family, and not just another number (the way I felt when shopping around at other dealerships).

When I purchased my Mazda from Morong it was a pleasant process. I shopped several dealers before deciding to wait for the new model year to arrive. During that wait (a couple of months) some of the other dealers bombarded me with annoying automatic emails, but when the guys at Morong sent emails they were obviously not canned, but instead written specifically to my needs, updating me about the new model's ETA. When the new cars finally arrived they got me the exact model and color I asked for. And, they even followed up a few days later just to see if I had any questions or problems. Totally professional, no games, no pressure.

We found a vehicle that we really wanted on their lot so I emailed them to tell me more about it. They were prompt emailing me back and when I went in to further investigate the vehicle I was taken back to the Internet Team of Steve and Parker who immediately got all my information and made the deal happen. I used USAA as a pricing service, and then negotiated from there. When we picked up the car we got a thorough overview and the delare answered all our questions. Everyone I came in contact with at Morong was very professional, friendly, and helpful. From my initial email to my telephone negotiations, to formalizing an offer and picking up the car and filling out the paperwork I felt like I was treated respectfully. Although I was nervous about buying a car sight unseen from more than 300 miles away, I found the process was without a problem and likely went better than had a purchased someplace nearby. The other Mazda dealerships I contacted were less helpful generally and the closest one to me was actually rude the one time I stopped by looking for a model I was interested in. Morong is worth the trip for those searching from a distance on the web, and for those who already live nearby- I am jealous! I won't be able to see them for my scheduled servicing!

I found the exact car I was looking for on cars.com and it was in Maine. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of buying a car over long distance but there were very few of these models around so I reached out to the sales team at Morong. Everyone there was incredibly helpful and friendly. No hard sales. No pushiness. Just easy-going guys who know their business and want to help get you the car you want. So I drove more than 600 miles in one day to pick up my car! It was worth it!

Asked the Morong internet sales team to find a used Porsche Cayenne. Said they were working on it by calling Porsche Financial. Two weeks go by and nothing from them. Contacted a local dealer who finds exotic cars and within 3 hours found 140 used Cayennes, which included cars from Porsche financial. Needless to say I still gave Morong the first chance at a sale, but stipulated I needed to have some sort of information by the end of the day. Three days later I am still waiting for that information to arrive (insert sarcastic laugh here). You would think in today's social media world they wouldn't be so stupid to have poor customer service, but..........

I was in the middle of negotiating for the sale of a vehicle. I had made offers and they had countered to the point where we were $1000.00 apart. I made my most recent offer and was waiting for a reply, which I was told would be forthcoming shortly.. When I didn't get one, I called and was informed that someone had come in and was taking a test drive. I asked what their counter was and they told me and I accepted, but then they stated that if the local buyer worked a deal, they would sell the car to them. According to the salesperson, they were still out on the test drive. I called back about 20 minutes later and left a message that informed them that there had been offer and acceptance and that they had sold the car to me. They called back about 40 minutes later and informed me that the local people had bought the car and that they were doing the paperwork. If I had been sitting in the salesperson's office, $1000.00 apart, no dealership would have allowed someone else to test drive the car. Legally, we had a contract. They should have informed the local, when they returned that the car was sold. Instead, they sold it out from under me.

I was provided exceptional service at morong! Teddy and Anne both went above and beyond to find my vehicle. It's the little details in customer satisfaction that matter. I even asked for hot chocolate that they didn't have one hand and within ten minutes Teddy went across the street to get a hot chocolate! I have been hunting for a new car for some time now. I had been to several dealerships and couldnt find exactly what I was looking for. This is when I turned my search towards Morong Falmouth for the answer. I can't begin to tell you the exception level of customer service I recieved. Everyone there was friendly, kind and responsive. It didn't feel like a car sales experience, it was more a community of employees that love their job. Ted Cianchette was the sales associate that sealed the deal. This employee goes out of his way to make sure that every detail in buying a car is one of a kind. The whole selling experience felt like an honest open two way conversation. I have to give a shout out to Al for the financing experience, again, every detail was explained and done with passion as well as a huge level of enthusiasm and fun. Please keep these guys in mind if you are in the market for a new or used car, this dealership knows how to build a relationship with customers. I bought a new Volkswagen Jetta at Morong Falmouth in 2004. I had a great experience at the time, unfortunately that service diminished over time. This is a long post, but worth the read, especially if you are considering having their Service department do any work on your car.A few months ago, random electrical issues started popping up literally overnight. I got in my car one morning to go to work and my window switches worked intermittently, cruise control shut itself off randomly, car wouldn't lock anymore, or if it did, it would unlock itself shortly thereafter. I couldn't arm the alarm at all. There were other strange issues as well, but you get the idea. Since it was electrical, I figured this would be a dealership job so I brought it to Morong at 8:00AM. I explained the issues to my service advisor and he told me he would call me when they had a diagnosis and to let me know what the cost would be before they did any work. I hadn't heard anything by 12:00PM, so I thought I would give a call to see if they had any ideas. My service advisor, Bryan told me that multiple parts/modules had gone bad and needed to be replaced:It looks like the door switches, steering wheel control module, some electrical component for the locks had all gone bad. Total bill will be around $700 - $800, Bryan said. (paraphrasing)Shocked, I replied, Umm, my car hadn't been struck by lightning and I didn't drive it into Casco Bay...why would all that happen at once?These things happen from time to time - can I start the work now?Just do the door switches, I don't care enough about cruise control to pay that kind of money.Very good, I'll give you a call when your car is ready.4:30PM rolls around and I hear nothing from Bryan. I got out of work and just went to the dealership. I found Bryan and asked if my car was ready. Oh, hello...Im sorry, but we actually don't have the door switches in stock and we couldn't do the work. says BrianReally? No phone call? I replied.I've been really busy with other customers, sir, sorry for the inconvenience....Ugh...whatever, at this point I am a bit disgruntled as I haven't gotten any love from Morong at this point...but this isn't the worst part. He then tells me, Well, I have to charge you for the tech's diagnostic time - 4 hours I was beside myself. You're going to charge me 4 hours of diagnostics and you didn't even do anything?Well, we need to get something for the tech's time. You didn't do anything. There is no way I am giving you $380 for nothing.Tell you what, I'll take 2.5 hours off since we didn't have the switch.I was fuming and getting ready to explode, but paid the bill anyway of $161.08 as I had to pick up my son. When I got home, I started doing some research on the internet to see what would cause all of these systems to go bad. To shorten this a bit, after doing some research, I found a common culprit that could be causing all of these issues the CAN-bus. If you arent familiar with what a CANBus is, it is basically a messaging system that relays messages between modules in a car. As an example, when you lift up on the power window switch, a message is broadcast to some module that is listening. It interprets the message and controls the window motor to roll the window up. So, with some diagnostic hardware and software I have at home (VAG-COM from RossTech), I connected to my car and very quickly was able to determine that there was garbage being broadcast on the CANBus. This made me think of an adapter I bought to retain use of my cars steering wheel controls with my aftermarket radio which makes use of the CANBus...definitely worth a try. After about 5 minutes, I determined this adapter was the source of the problemswhen I removed it, EVERYTHING started working properly again. Windows, locks, alarm, remote, cruiseall of it right back the way it was. Morong was going to sell me $700+ worth of parts + hours of labor (who knows what else). What exactly did these technicians do for 4 hours of labor other than misdiagnose the problem and charge me for it? Had they actually done some real diagnostics and determined this was the problem, I would have gladly paid for that hour's worth of diagnostics as it was a problem with something I added to the car. But instead, they definitively told me that 3+ other systems had gone bad. I want my $161.08 back. I called Bryan the next day, told him what I found out and that I think I am due a refund. Naturally he hemmed and hawed at first, but then agreed that the tech should have tested this and it shouldn't have taken 4 hours to come up with a completely wrong diagnosis. He told me he needed to talk to his service manager to push the refund through and as soon as he did he would send me a check. I sort of laughed at this, as it seems so cliché to send a check in the mail, but whatever, I was happy that they were going to correct the issue and retain me as a customer. Well, unfortunately that never happened. 2 months later, and over a dozen phone calls and trips to the dealership I have been blown off over and over again. Every time I call there, Bryan tells me, Oh, yeah I need to get my managers permission; I just missed him last time you called. Ill talk to him today and get that check mailed out. Ive heard that at least 3 times now. Whenever I call there and end up on voicemail, whether the Service manager or Bryan, I NEVER receive a call back. I dont understand what the issue issupposedly this was approved by the advisor, why havent I received a refund yet? Has he actually spoken with a manager? Whats it going to take, sitting on the sales floor in front of that new Porsche to get a response? Completely unprofessional for a dealership I guess that five star rating isnt all that important to them after all. I will continue to bother them until I get the money. I know it isnt much, but at this point, its more about the principle of the issue. The dealerships push us around and overcharge because they can and personally I am sick of it. I hope they finally do the right thing and send my refund back to me I will consider revising this review if so. Regardless, I will NEVER bring a car back to Morong Falmouth again. Everyone at the dealership was friendly, seemed genuinely eager to help, and applied very little pressure as we made our decision about which car to buy. Prior to buying our car, we contacted and visited a couple of other dealerships. We decided to return to Morong and eventually buy through Morong because we were so impressed with the people we dealt with and the apparent premium they put on customer service and satisfaction. Tom Seymour offered great options and very professional data for us to make an informed decision. The deal was terrific, and he went out of his way to accommodate our needs. He and Ann Cote made every effort to find the vehicle we had ordered, and they offered us several choices until we were satisfied with the right vehicle for our needs, desires and budget. Mike was very knowledgeable about SUV's in general and especially the Tiguan. I learned a lot about cars during that test drive. He never mad me feel like he was trying to sell me something, just wanted to make sure I made a good choice. Everyone else that I encountered at the dealership was friendly and attentive. I called and talked to Mike and he explained why they were selling it wholesale. I'm particular about my cars, and equally so about the people I buy them from. I guess I'm just one of those people who needs that warm and fuzzy feeling before stroking a big check. From the moment I walked into Morong, I got the sense I was in capable, honest hands. Unlike other dealers, they offer this service that compares the cost of used cars against other similar used cars in the market...V-Auto pricing I think it's called. Apparently it scans all published listings on car websites etc and allows you to get a snapshot of what the market is offering for cars that match your search criteria. It's easy to compare apples to apples in new cars, but it's a bit trickier with used. That's where this service came in handy, and Anne showed me a side-by-side comparison of the Audi A4 2.0T they were offering and other very comparable A4's on the market. I could see the Morong price was below most other nearly identical cars (make/model/year/options), and that was reassuring. Plus, Anne was good humored and didn't come across as over-eager. That was enough to seal the deal for me, and I'd certainly recommend Morong to anyone.

Went to go look at a used A6 they had posted on line (even though 3 family members have had terrible luck with their cars breaking down and the maintenence dept. there). I checked the website before I went down and when I arrived, they already sold the car. Decided to test drive a MB instead. I did not like having to bring along the salesperson, makes it hard to scrutinize and make decisions on your own. After the drive, dealt with waiting for a trade-in value for my car a long time just for them to offer about 3,500 less than KBB had it priced at FAIR trade-in. So after telling him I wanted a better bottom line, he went away to talk to the business manager, they dropped the price of the MB 300 (just to get it to look like they dropped it from 23k to 22k) Then I said that was still not low enough for my budget. He went away again and brought my trade up 1,000... still unfair. When I had to walk, the salesperson was a grump and rude. I told him to call me if they changed their mind he quickly responded "NO you call us if you change your mind". Surely enough, 9AM in the morning, I get a call asking if I chaged my mind but they still weren't going to budge on price (just annoying). My whole point is, I had to deal with a korny salesperson and waiting in a lobby for 2 hours for them to give me an unfair trade on an overpriced car.Went to another dealer who gave me much more on my trade in, the MB was 3 grand less and 10k miles less. Do yourself a favor, go out of state or at least not to Morong.

I found Ted Cianchette to be an honest, helpful dealer who did NOT have that typical hard-sale dealer approach. He gave me the facts that I could check out online and cinched the deal by giving me a good price and everything I wanted. It was a great experience. I know from experience that the Sales and Service departments at Morong are top-rate and I would encourage anyone to visit them when looking for a new or pre-owned car.

I originally bought an Audi from a Hyundai dealer and later had issues with a warranty deal that didn't actually exist. While I was dealing with turning that Allroad back to the Hyundai dealer, Jeff at Morong took care of my needs for lining up and reserving my next Allroad. I spent less than 30 minutes at Morong to take in this new car, while I spent half a day at the Hyundai dealer when purchasing that first Audi and negotiating the deal.

I had a fantastic experience at the dealership. The relaxed atmosphere far and away surpassed the competition. My salesmen Ted was great and a pleasure to deal with. A little less like the sales staff you expect and more about helping me find what would work best for me - what a relief! It's a great team they have and I hope to do more business with Morong in the future. I have been been frustrated with car searches and this experience was enough to change my mind. Knowledgeable, friendly and personable, Phil went out of his way to provide an extremely high-quality transaction.I needed to visit the service department shortly thereafter for a few relatively minor details and worked with Eli. That also went great. Morong's has an entirely separate, state-of-the-art service complex. Very efficient. Very impressive.Last, but certainly not least, is Ann. She is the manager who rides herd on this very impressive operation and crew. Smart and detail oriented, Ann is a guiding force. It's an extremely important role, and she does it with professionalism and ease.

Words cannot properly describe the absolutely horrendous experience from this dealership - from sales (where my wife and I were, on a number of occasions, lied to; when looking to buy a new Audi, which would have been our second) to service (where I returned time and time again to fix what should have been fixed properly the first, or even second, time) I would avoid this dealership like the plague. I have ZERO personal ax to grind here. merely numerous FAR-LESS-THAN-SATISFYING RESULTS.

I had an issue with my audi and it was fixed at Morong later that year I moved to Florida and something happened in regards to the issue that was fixed at Morong. I spoke with the owner and he was open and willing to hear what had happened with my car. The part that needed to be replaced was very expensive so I assumed it was going to be a fight, however to my surprise it was a very easy conversation. He did want to see if his insurance would cover it first which is understandable. Furthermore, he did get back to me when he said he would and kept me in the loop with each step of the process. I found out that the insurance would not pay for the issue from the agent that called me, so I assumed it was going to be a long process with the owner. Again, to my delight the owner said he is going to call Florida Audi and let them know to fix it. I was in shock! This dealership is HONEST, HARDWORKING, OPEN, and one of the BEST dealerships I have ever worked with. I recommend EVERYONE go there!

My salesman Dan even took me out and spent some time teaching me how to drive a standard! And he was a great teacher :-) In fact, their entire staff really went out of their way to get me in a car that worked for me. I would highly recommend them!

I had been watching a car on their lot for sometime and told my salesman to contact me when and if the price came to where I wanted it to be and he did. I stopped by on a Friday and test drove the car and asked if I could keep it overnight to really give it a spin and they agreed. I returned to the dealership on Saturday and informed Greg that I loved the car and would like to buy it if we could agree on price. After discussing with the owner a few price options (which of course you would do) we came to a price that suited me with a few extras that were thrown in and a promise that the car would be cleaned and ready for my at the beginning of the following week. At this point I met with the Finance Goddess and we did a credit app. and I was approved in less then 10 minutes. All of the people at this dealership were engaging, and very welcoming with my salesman being at the top of the list. The final thing that my salesperson did that sealed the deal was he brought out the service tech. that would be detailing the car to review how he did it and what he would do and to give me the opportunity to ask for a few extras on the detailing end. I am hopeful that since my experience was so grand with the purchase that I will be as lucky when I need service...we shall see but I am betting on a yes!

My experience with all the employees at Morong have been nothing less than superior. They are friendly, knowledgeable and treat you like family. They are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, and at no time do you feel like you are dealing with sales people. You get the best deal without asking and their follow-up is to be commended. After looking at V.W.'s at three other dealerships, I stopped by Morong's on a busy Sat. I was promply greeted and allowed to look around. I was not pressured. Everyone spoke to me including the owner.All my questions were answered. The entire staff was professional. Dave Holt responded to my e-mails promptly as we considered our purchase. I was offered more than Blue Book for my trade. After buying our new Passat, Dave rode in the car with me to make sure I understood all features and controls. We had previously driven it alone. And finally we were given a tour of their modern and clean service center and introduced the the V.W. service manager. Dave followed up a few days later to make sure that we were 100% happy. We are!! I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. They are low key, honest and fair. Most importantly they treat you like you are more than just a customer.

I could not disagree with the above posters more. I live out of state and vacation in Maine in the summer. David (I believe the head of Audi sales) gave me a fantastic deal on a 2008 Audi Q7. The sales team is courteous and not pushy. They actually encouraged me to seek out other prices. I priced it with my local dealer in Doylestown, PA and he could not come close within 5K. They arranged to have the car delivered and gave me an excellent deal on my used A6 Avant.I regularly recommend Morong Falmouth to anyone interested in purchasing an Audi!Consider me and my family a loyal customer.

I have an 04 passat wagon. The over head cam ceased on it. There is a Know problem with sludge build up in 99-04's with slugde build up. So VW extended the power train an extra two years. I thought that my warrenty had expired but my mechanic brought this info to my attention. So I had it brought to Morongs. But this did me no good since I did not keep any records of having the oil changed. I met with Mac the service manager he told me that they looked at the motor, and it was clean, they could tell that it had been kept up with, there was plenty of oil and the oil filter was new. But they wouldn't cover it. He couldn't tell me why a car with 52,000 miles with a clean motor would cease up. When I first started my process with Morongs at the customer service counter I was treated like i was being an inconvience because I wanted them to look at my car. My car had been in pieces from my mechanic. After Morongs was done with my car the failed to put several pieces of it back...just the oil pan and all the nuts an bolts that held it together. Not to mention all the grease and crap their mechanics left on the interior of the car.I knew that when my car was going to Morongs I would not get the out come I thought would or should happen. I spoke with over a dozen people that have VW's or that have delt with morongs and they don't drive VW's any more or they don't go to Morongs. I have one friend that has a 08 Audi from them and it burns a quart of oil a month and they told him that was normal...and they haven't fixed the problem.From start to finish it has been a terrible experience dealing with Morongs. I loved my passat for the first four years that I have had it. I was looking to get another wagon and another GTI for my girlfriend. After dealing with Morongs and the service that I recieved and just the smug way they talked and delt with me there is no way I will ever own a VW again.

I cannot say enough here to relay the the experience I have had with this dealership. The worst possible experience one can imagine in all respects. Their service ethic seems more suited to avoid liability than provide customers with good service. I have been there 8 times in 9 months and still they can't seem to fix a wobble in the front end. I could not list the entire series of errors which range from basic incompetence to actually putting my safety at risk on defective tires, which they discovered on the 4th visit for the same problem, after rotating the defective tire to the back where I couldn't feel the vibration. Only after I had the tires rotated and the vibration returned did I realize they never fixed the problem. STAY AWAY!!!

Tried to buy an Audi in Maine to keeep the $$ in the state. Looked at used A6s, settled on a new A4 Avant. Told the sales person (Greg) that we wouldn't hesitate to go to Boston for a better price if they weren't competitive.<br>Decided on the car with about a $33k sticker and asked for best deal they could offer. First the Sales Mgr tried to move us to a lease "as a marketing tool to keep us coming back". I couldn't understand wht he would make the sale MORE complicated when were ready to buy. Offered $500 off sticker and we said goodby. Greg asked for a couple more days to get us a better deal, another $300.<br>We went to Pass & Weisz in Burlington, MA. Found a similar car with about $1500 less options and they gave us $2500 off that, a much better deal.<br>Friends have had similar experiences at Morong. Not recommended.
