They new I had just came from the animal hospital and didn't have a lot of time. He really focused on that and we were back on the road in our new car in no time. Not many people take your pets Into consideration but they did and I appreciate that. No problems at all

I show up for an oil change where the representative told me to go (first time customer) when I walk up to the building which had the narrative..." Shelors quick lane oil change" i walked in and an associate asked me why I was there,i told her I'm here for my appointment. She said what is it...i said oil change... she says...."we don't do that here"....i said..."it says the service is performed here,she said nope,go to the end of the road and you will see the building for that. I went down, pulled up and the associate there asked me why I was there i told him and he said we don't do oil change service here and sent me back to the other building.... not very professional at all!!!.... took off work for this, and I'm not even sure they did the service I was there for!!!!

We bought a '14 Town and Country and Jake at Kia was great. Our financing guy, Mark was great as well. All questions were answered. They were completely honest about everything and didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need. We had one issue after purchasing and they quickly resolved it for us. We will be buying from them again in the future.

I have been shopping for a new car and was taken back at how these dealerships are so pushy. Well needless to say when I found Paul McKeag and Charlie Taylor Jr. at the Motor Mile I found the BEST. I sure hope this dealership knows what they have in these 2 employees. I drove a couple hours just to do business with them because they were never pushy or rude. They made it a pleasurable experience. I will never do business anywhere else!!!! My husband and I had visited several other dealerships before going to Shelor and had terrible experiences. Being overtaken by several salesmen, unwillingness to even talk about the prices we were willing to pay, etc. When we arrived at Shelor we knew exactly what we wanted to look at and how much we were willing to spend. Our dealer, Pat, was above average, never treating us like we had unreal expectations, but making sure we had all the answers and details needed. She took us directly to the vehicles we were interested in and did not try to push anything else on us. Everyone involved in the process was super friendly, and very easy to get along with. We came in thinking that salesmen were all pretty sleazy, but left recommending family and friends to go and see Pat!

Tim was great! I knew going into the sale what I wanted and I had researched everything, but Tim still took his time to show me around. HE gave me every option possible, even when he knew I was only looking the first time I met with him. My uncle works at SHelor and I always go to him when purchasing a new vehicle, but he had moved into a new postion, so he teamed me up with Tim when I did decide what I wanted. Everyone from beginning to end were very nice and helpful. Melissa in finance did a wonderful job in explaining everything to us, even though it was a Friday night, after they were suppose to be closed. Everyone at Shelor made this car buying expierence simple and easy. THis is the 3rd vehicle I have bought from them and they will continue to keep my business not because of price, but because of customer service!

I was shopping for a car for over three months, really looking to buy one if the price was right. Even though I didn't buy one at Shelor first off, Megan the sales representative kept in close contact with me. E-mailing me about new rebates or just asking how my search was going. Dealing with other sales representatives at other dealerships, I noticed if I didn't buy a car that day with them they gave me the cold shoulder and was on to the next person. Megan with help of other sales representatives at Shelor knew what I wanted and worked hard contacting me for months. Glad to say Shelor gave me the best deal on the Kia Optima I wanted and couldn't be happier with the car/experience there.

I appreciated Mike Whittmeier as our dealer because of the time and patience he put into the purchase of our vehicle. He answered many questions, we test drove several vehicles, we took our time in making the right decision for us and he was present when needed and also gave us space when needed. I expected the salesman approach when I entered the lot meaning getting a salesman who needed to meet a quota but instead received assistance from a person who listened to our needs and concerns and directed us to vehicles that answered those needs. Mike offered suggestions and information and was never overbearing. I felt the purchase decision was totally ours and we are very happy with our choice.

Chris Susserman was the first salesperson we talked to and he went above and beyond to get us a great deal. When we returned to the dealership a second time to purchase he made sure we were taken care of even though he could not oversee the actual sale. Andy Millirons managed to get us a discount on a new vehicle, left us feeling we got a great deal. I was.their for 8 hours told them what I was wanting if not its ok I needed an all wheel drive and decent fuel mileage they showed me 2 imprezas but only let me drive one I asked for my.keys to my Toyota several times and they walked off each.time then come up with some answer that their still looking I asked to let me drive the other impreza and they said ok but wouldn't bring the keys kept wanting me to.take the other one then they brought me this KIA sportage ex I told them it would be ok but it was at the mileage where it needed timing belt looked at and more 64.200 they kept pushing this KIA I asked again for my keys I have all of it recorded and they just would not give me my keys they wouldn't have the KIA looked at neither they offered me a 100 dollar peace of crap paper so I could use it to help pay to get whatever I needed my Toyota was in great running order I ended up with this peace of crap KIA that only got 14 miles to the gallon on the way home this was may 17th it is now July 29th and it has 64.400 miles and has not been driven since 5 days after I left it has to have motor transmission,and more I will never deal with people like yall ever again and I not only told the BBB but everyone I see

My wife, Linda and I were shopping around for a used vehicle. Our vehicle that we used for a trade-in, was a 1997 Honda Accord, that had 250,000 + miles on it. Mr. Mundy showed us a 2012 KIA Forte and said, "If I can get you into this car, would you be interested?" Linda and I looked at eachother in dis-belief and ofcourse we said yes but saying to ourselves, "No way would we be able to drive off the lot in a new vehicle." Mr. Mundy took down our information and asked us if we wanted to test drive the KIA and so we did. Love this car! When we returned back to the dealership, Mr. Mundy asked what we thought? And naturally, we said "we loved it!" He said Okay, lets see what we can do?" While we were waiting, Mr. Mundy was very attentive and polite. He was very positive and determined to make this happen. And he did. I remember our reaction when he said, "You're approved!" It was like winning the lotto, lolI cannot thank Mr. Mundy and the fiance team at Shelor Motor Mile enough for all that they did for us. We are still in shock and we are loving our KIA Forte. This was one of many experiences I've had with Shelor. Our trip was not planned due to our vehicle starting to have mechanical problems. So we went in not having any extra money to put towards a vehicle. Andy and the financial team worked for hours on the bank trying to come up with something for us. After everything was said and done, we were actually able to leave with a brand new vehicle. We had planned on leaving with a used one, so we were very pleased. This was the easiest and least contentious car buying experience I've ever had. Conrad Hughes was a consummate professional throughout the entire time we were in negotiations and especially after the sale when he painstakingly walked my wife through the intricacies of the car's audio components. This is the second time in 10 years I have dealt with Shelor & it took 10 years to even consider giving this dealership another chance since I was lied to just to sell me an extended warrenty it will be a long time before I come back if at all,& I surely wont recomend any friends to deal there. Mike was atomite that I have 2 keys with my trade but the vehicle I purchased came with one his response was it was a 5.00 walmart key so he was not concerned about it. When test driving the 2002 Tahoe I noticed the service engine soon light was on when I menchoned it again Mike was not concerned with having it checked out his comment was it was a oilchange light so again no big deal,when in fact it was a check engine light which was a bad 02 sencer which was going to cost aproximatley 261.00 which the gentleman in service helped me out with & hopefully this doesnt get him in trouble because he knows about customer service I want to say he was top notch. The third was I left the dealership with my used Tahoe on empty no gas in it this was pathetic in my opinion. This dealership has gotten so big it has forgotten about customerservice I know for a fact that you (the dealership) made a good amount of money off of me with this deal & I understand making money but being so greedy that you dont care about people is pathetic. to recap for about 300.00 which that would have been to fix the check engine issue,a spare key & 67.00 tank of gas (333.00) & dont forget my extra trip to get the vehicle fixed (my time) which is worth money also you (the dealership) could have had a very happy customer. I know this will be discarded & not even be looked at so again I have wasted time which is very important to me,but If you are happy with getting one over on your customers then keep on doing it this way you do enough people this way your business will go away just take a look down the road at the Harley shop they were the same way treating people bad I tried to deal with them once & they were the exact the same the difference is I walked away as did many other people & as a result they are gone. I had bought a Soul 3 months ago and found that it wasn't the correct size vehicle for us, even though we were down to just the two of us. I contacted Eric and he got us to come back in to drive the Sorento he thought we would be satisfied with; we drove it home that same afternoon. And because we were return customers it went alot faster this time! The Soul was a great little car, but trying to put us, our 2 Schnauzers and a friend in it left no room for luggage! Sue Wilburn was a pleasure to deal with. She worked hard to find just the car that I wanted (it was transferred from another dealership), and was very good at letting me know the status of my vehicle. I appreciate her attention to detail, as well as her pleasant and enthusiastic personality. I've given all "Great" marks because of Sue. I will say, however, that the folks who were responsible for making sure my car was cleaned up before I took ownership might want to pay a little more attention to detail. While test driving the vehicle I noticed that the back window was dirty. There were also greasy hand prints on the driver side door. Sue was very quick to take it back to the cleaning people and they did clean up those problems - but then we found a gum wrapper on the rear floor, some leftover bits of packing attached to the back seat. All small things, but when you're spending thousands of dollars on a car it should be delivered to you in pristine condition. Sue again stepped in to take care of things, and overall we're very pleased with our experience with her.

Andy and Mickey were awesome!!! Brian in finance was rude, and not professional, wanting me to sign contracts in the lobby! There was a problem with the vehicle the first day. Andy and Mickey bent over backwards and I received another vehicle! had these men not been sooo excellent I would have cancelled the deal. Had I met Brian in finance the first day there probably would have been no deal. Brian needs a lesson in the right to confidentiality, and customer service! The first day in finance I had Morris and he was professional,helpful and an excellent finishing touch to completing a sale. We did not have a good experience buying an auto from Shelor Motor Mile. Things were fine until a problem was discovered after the sale. Once the dealership had the money, we had no support and they were very unsympathetic and insensitive to the aggravation that we should not have experienced after purchasing a new vehicle. The general manager was indifferent to our situation, and we found him to be very unprofessional and immature in his actions.

My husband and I went to Shelor because we had heard of their great reputation and after checking out their website. We thought our past credit issues were going to deter us from purchasing a new vehicle. I explained this to Carson Poole via email and he had told me that they would work with us. Boy, did they! When we arrived Carson met us in the parking lot with Tim Caylor. Tim was so patient with us as we test drove several vehicles. He definitely knew his stuff and was always so positive when I'm sure he could tell I was feeling so negative thinking they wouldn't be able to help us because of the credit history. We will never be able to put in words how great Tim was/is. They were extremely busy but yet we always felt like we were the only ones there! Carson even came back a couple times to make sure we were doing ok. We drove off with a brand new 2012 Kia Sorento and couldn't be happier. We have talked to Tim every day since because I had to follow-up with some copies of paperwork they needed and he still continues to treat us just as great as he did when we were sitting in his office! (Even on his day off!!) We have asked Tim for his business cards to distribute to friends/family!

My husband and I (and 8 year old daughter) had a very pleasant experience with Shelor (as a dealership) and with the people that directly worked with us. We approached your dealership first thru your website, where we were able to browse your current vehicles (love that!) Then we submitted an inquiry to the dealership, Rick from Internet sales promptly responded to our inquiries as well as followed up with us several days later. We called Rick to let him know we would be coming up on Saturday 7/2 and when we arrived we were welcomed by many folks willing to assist us in our buying process. Rick then took us over to the KIA dealership to test drive a vehicle we picked out of back lot that just rolled off the truck. He had the car brought over to the KIA dealership where I was welcomed by Conray (in training) and Robert Descenzo, who were both VERY knowledgeable about the product we were interested in. We test drove our car, feel in love with it and sat down with Conray to fill out application (paperwork, etc.) not much nego. took place since we understood before we got on the lot that the KIA Optimas were flying off the lots-so knew that nego might be a little tough (after a test drive we could see why) We asked for some tint on the windows and some body molding instead of nego price down and were able to get the tint, but as told by the sales persons KIA didn't make the body molding for that vehicle. We were a little disappointed but were satisfied with the tint and knew the dealership would be there for us if we had any problems with the vehicle. The process was lenghtly (but we expected that) We were given a tour of the Shelor campus and taken over to accounting to finish the paperwork and go over warranty and other options. Morris wrapped the paperwork up for us was also very friendly and very knowledgable. Not at all pushy, but informative. One set of keys were missing from the vehicle and Robert indicated that once located they would get them to us. A day or two later Robert drove all the way to Roanoke to hand deliver the keys to me while I was at work! That was the icing on the cake! Throughly impressed with the overall buying process and the follow up. Will definately buy from Shelor again!! (and P.S. Conrad doesn't need to be training, he should be working SOLO-that guy knows his stuff! 10x better than all of the other sales people we met on other car lots, he knows CARS- he knew exactly what he was doing and asked all the right questions of Robert when going over the paperwork. Robert did an excellent job supervising him - very tactful, professional and never looked down his nose to him. They worked together to get the sale complete!)

My sales experience with Skyleur Versele in the purchase of a new Kia Optima was by far the best car sales transaction I have ever had. Skyleur was extremely knowledgeable about the car and all of its features and took the time required to explain all of the features and make sure I knew how to use them. He also went the extra mile to find the car I wanted, as it was not available on the lot. He was responsive, courteous, and did not pressure me into buying a car that I did not want, but instead found the exact car that I was searching for. In one word my 7 hour car shopping experience and purchase was AWESOME!!! Being a long time resident of this area I have certainly over the years heard some negative remarks about Shelor Motor Mile and will have to admit I was a little apprehensive about even driving onto the property but from the very moment Mike Mundy and his trainee Conrad greeted me all of my fears vanished. Both gentlemen were extremely pleasant and did not come across as pushy or demanding! They worked with me in finding several cars to test drive and took the time to explain the differences of each vehicle to me. That process, although lengthy in time was important to me because I wanted to make the best decision for my travel needs and of course my pocketbook. I left driving a Kia Forte straight off of the show room floor and couldn't be happier if the Kia company itself had delivered it to my front door at home! I learned many things that day because of Mike and Conrad, first being that Shelor Motor Mile really does care about their customers, second, that not all car salesman are pushy and rude and third car shopping does not have to be an experience that one should fear or dread as long as they shop at Shelor Motor Mile and have Mike Mundy as their salesman! I greatly appreciate all of the staff that I dealt with that day and certainly will recommend Shelor's to anyone who is looking to purchase a new or used vehicle!

I didn't actually expect to get my new Kia at Shelor. I was working with Berglund and was pretty far down the path to closing that deal. However, Mike called me after receiving an e-mail I had sent the previous week. After telling him what I was looking for and about the situation with Berglund, he started working to see if Shelor could meet my needs. I was pleasantly surprised when they did!!! The entire experience was great. Mike was very helpful, friendly, and attentive. The finance associated I worked with (Brian) was also great. I would definitely recommend Shelor to others! Thanks!

I bought a car from Shelor 13 years ago and finally decided it was time to get a new car and bought a car from them again 13 years later. They have such a nice variety of vehicles to chose from, it's nice to be able to do one-stop shopping. Neal was a very helpful, knowledgable salesman. All the questions that we would ask about the vehicles that we were looking at he was able to advise and inform us about them. He never was pushy or obnoxious like some salesmen are. Instead he was there when we needed him, but gave the space we needed to make our decision. He also followed up a few days later to see if there was anything we needed, if we were still happy with our new car or if we had any questions that he could help us with. Overall I liked the service as it was faster and transparent. It was my first car so comparison is not as easy but still I am pretty happy with the car I got. I will suggest that at least once one should check it out while shopping for a car. It was nice experience

I visited Shelor to look at a used car I saw online. The used car wasn't a good fit for us, so we bought a new Kia Forte, which we love. The experience was new, as I had never purchased a brand new car, but our salesman (Robert), explained everything from the warranty to the final paperwork. Highly recommended.

We really needed a gas saver but didn't know what we could afford! Mickey started back words with us! The kia was the 2nd car i drove and i fell in love! Everything was great! Especially not knowing what we wanted! This car is great!!! I have been in an suv for 13 years and didnt know how i would like a car , but its great!!! I started working with Neal Francis last Nov. of 2010 and because of my credit we had some problems getting a loan with no down payment. This April Neal called me and said he thought since my credit rating had gone up, he was sure he could help me, I said great and made appt. with him. He was there waiting for me and we started the process, we worked most of the day to get me a good interest rate and a wonderful new Kia Forte that would also be great on gas with a 100,000 mile warranty. These were the two most important things for me. Now I am driving my Kia and brag to everyone how great Shelor is and how wonderful Neal Francis is, and that he will bend over backwards to help get you into a car that would be suitable for your budget. I have referred him to a friend already and he is trying to help my friend get into a new car. I was surprised that Neal would remember after all that time and call me. That is very impressive these days. My Kia is doing great and I love it.

I would like to say that Neal was very helpful during this process. He even came in on his day off to assist me in getting the car I wanted which was very very appreciated. He took as much time as needed to make sure we got everything right including taking me over to the parts center to help order an accessory I was looking for (again on his day off!).
