We had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this business. Their practices are dishonest, misleading and truly not in the buyer’s best interest. We purchased a SUV from MotorKings shorty after moving to Nashville and beginning new work. We were assured and promised that all their vehicles are in great condition, inspected by a third party mechanic and never bought crashed or greatly damaged. Their salesperson- Kyle- was charming & friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout our shopping experience. Within a few weeks of purchasing our $7,100 vehicle, it was undrivable. The car squeaked with every turn and began violently shaking within minutes of ignition. We had it checked out by a mechanic who told us it needed $6,000 worth of repairs. $6,000. This “excellent condition” vehicle. Further, we had photographic evidence that the issues, leaks, and damages to the car were present AT the time of purchase and would have 100% been noticed by any mechanic. So, MotorKings either lied to us that they had the car checked out at all. Or they did have the car checked out and completely lied about the condition of the car. To make matters worse, we called the shop wanting to converse about the situation and see if we could find a fair solution. Kyle arrogantly and dismissively said that it was our fault for buying the car and he offered us a different one while we were browsing around but we chose to purchase our SUV. We emailed the owner Tim also and got no response. In essence, stay away from MotorKings. They appear friendly and trustworthy from the outside, but I assure you they are not. They’ve proven themselves to be dishonest, deceptive, and completely apathetic to their poor business practices. Best of luck to all you buyers! Learn from our mistake.

If you’re going to buy a vehicle here, I recommend having it looked over by a mechanic before you actually hand over the money! We paid almost $9,000 in cash for a vehicle and after you leave the parking lot, they don’t give a care about you. We stopped in Nashville to get gas on our two hour road trip home right after the purchase, and the low tire light was on. My husband went to fill the tire and realized it was gushing air and completely dry rotted. We called the company to see if they would make it right, because they said “the car was in almost perfect condition” but they told us no and once we left the lot, anything that happened was on us. So another $1000 later, we had to replace all 4 tires because they were all dry rotted, and we’ve had several other problems since. We will never do business with this company again.

Staff was wonderful. I took a test drive and had a mechanic look at the vehicle. It had a few issues as you might expect on a 15 year old truck but nothing major so I put down a deposit and went back the next day to finish the purchase and take it home. Super clean and well-run business or so it looks from the customer's perspective. Thanks Tim and team.
