Always a good experience at myrtle beach kia. Weather buying a car or there for service always made to feel like a person not a number $$$. Just purchased a fourth car from Aaron Clark difficult to leave there without car that I wanted cause they always make a deal worth taking. Matt and Dan are the best at what they do, and have put together a sales team that make you feel like family when you walk in the door. I have been to other dealerships since my first dealing with myrtle beach kia, and no one has come close to being as personable and professional as MBK. .

Recently I purchased a new Optima at Myrtle Beach Kia. I have to say that I never like buying a new car, the experience is usually like pulling teeth, but the staff there made it easy and painless! Jim Malone was very polite, professional and never once made my wife and I feel pressured. He took the time to explain every step in the process and answered every one of my questions with ease. The sales managers were great and did all they could to get me into the car I wanted. Mike Bazinet was wonderful! We were treated with respect and friendliness. He helped in every way to familiarize us with our new previously owned Kia Soul! When we noticed that the back seatbelt was torn, he notified the service department immediately so my husband could arrange an appointment to have it replaced. His manner was relaxed and caring and he was quite knowledgeable. Our test drive was FUN! I got a kick out of being photographed with the vehicle! I strolled into Myrtle Beach KIA and their he was The Man, The Myth, THE LEGEND Jim Malone greets me with the most upbeat positive and energetic character I have ever seen and at that moment I knew "yep i am going to be taken care of". I have family in car sales so I know what to look out for when it comes to salesman who try to pull you leg and lie, but Jim was upfront, blunt and legit from the beginning. To start with,this was the first car I've purchased in nearly 10 years. I was expecting a nightmare. After wandering around the lot for about 5 minutes I was approached by a salesperson, Jim Malone. After the obligatory greeting I immediately got the feeling maybe this might no turn out to be the usual horrible experience and turns out it wasn't. Of course there was the usual back and forth with price and vehicles. In the end, Jim and I came to an amicable meeting of the minds and I unexpectedly left the proud owner of a snazzy 2014 Kia Optima ES with the premium package. I thought I would never say that the experience was actually fun. To top it off Jim followed us home to help deliver the new vehicle so that we could get both cars there.Jim was very professional with a knowledge of the vehicle we chose with no pressure (maybe a little) in our decision. I would definitely recommend Jim Malone and Myrtle Beach Kia if you happen to be in the market for a new or used vehicle. Thanks Jim

We initially stopped by just to browse Kia's bigger SUVs in an effort to find a more suitable vehicle for our growing family. We honestly thought we had already found our future vehicle at another dealership, but clearly this was not the case. We were greeted by Mike, who was considerably kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. It so happens his two brothers, Matt and Tim, work with him as well. They were a great team who weren't too pushy and did everything in their power to make our car buying experience pleasant. I have a difficult time making decisions so they brought in the big guns, Dan, who made us an offer we couldn't turn down :) I never in a million years thought I would be the proud owner of a minivan, so they must be pretty good at their jobs!! The mini has made traveling extremely more comfortable, and my son loves watching Elmo on the DVD player they installed at no cost. They even threw in a clemson cooler, which we will use at the Clemson vs Carolina game that we are going to thanks to Kia and their raffle!!! Go tigers! The service department was efficient, even without power after the hurricane. I was given a loaner car while the DVD player was being installed. I feel like the staff at Kia is very personable and family oriented. And they are knowledgeable because they actually drive the cars they sell! They have been nothing but nice and helpful throughout this experience. We love Mike and consider him a friend. I'm sure we will be doing business with them again in the future.

Buying a vehicle is often a stressful and timely process . It is a considerable investment for most of us and you should not be rushed or cornered into a vehicle or deal you are not comfortable with. All to often we pull in to a dealer lot and are attacked by a mob of slithering salesman that appear like vultures circling a carcass . Or the one who gives you the feeling your not worth his/her time. Generally my opinion of salesman is low. Sealing the deal and numbers has become the the self serving interest. I have had salesman call me almost to the point of of seeking restraining order. The entire staff at Myrtle Beach KIA was professional and curtious. They showed great enthusiasm for serving me and what they do. My sales associate Arron was dressed as a vampire killer so I felt comfortable discussing the details of my new Kia Soul . He was patient and took his time to make sure I understood the process .There facilities speaks volumes for there commitment to customer satisfaction. I observed the customers in there service waiting area and even they seemed pleased to be waiting. Which is usually as much fun as picking up dog fesies. I I understand the importance of a solid sales and service team when it comes to providing the best customer experience.I will be recommending them and Arron in the future.Thanks ...

BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS KIA DEALER!! i know owe more money than what the car is worth!!! They couldn't even give me a value of the car!! They promised to get me a newer one and or refinance this one for a lower interest rate and they said they can't! I told them the sales ladie said come back in a year well it's been a year I never missed a payment but because I owe more than what the car is worth no one can refinace it!!!! All they care about is making money they do not care about you at all!!!!! THEY DONT! I was rushed I couldn't get a word in and before I knew it I signed for the car!!!!

When I went in to Kia I was originally there to have my car serviced. While waiting, my son and I were walking around looking at the used cars. He had been in the market for a car and has been saving his money up. But, he never intended to buy car from a dealership because he was planning on paying for an older used car outright with cash for his very first car. I was actually approached by a couple salesman but told them we were really just walking around while my was being serviced. And that was the honest truth. When Marc approached we were just talking about how much my son really liked my car. He gave me a lot of information about some of the deals that we're going on but I wasn't really thinking about getting my son a car there. He was patient and said let me run some numbers for you. He really worked with me and my budget and not only got my son into a new car but also got me into a new car. Was never pushy and let me think about my decision so I was comfortable with my purchase. I had bought a Certified pre-owned Kia 3 years ago and have to say that I have always loved the service that I received there. Anytime I had taken my car in for service it was always quick, efficient and the staff is so friendly. So I'm glad to know that my son will be receiving the same experience. Walked in to have my car serviced and walked out with 2 brand new cars!!

I live 50 miles from the Kia dealership in Myrtle beach. I had heard good things about their professionalism and their no pressure sales force. I called and spoke to one of the managers named Dan. He was extremely informative so I thought it would be worth the trip. To say this was the most positive experience I have had with leasing would be an understatement. Dan welcomed me and had two of his salesforce show me the vehicle I was interested in. Tim and Mike were their names (last names below as well as Dan's and Terral's)and without any pressure they walked me though every detail of the Kia Sportage I was looking for. They were friendly and knew the vehicle through and through. If all sales persons were like theses young men I truly believe more people would enjoy the whole car dealing experience. Next stop the negotiations which I know we all hate. I came away very happy with my price and the whole experience. Final stage was Terral's the finace person. What a breeze that was. Summing up I don't think you could go wrong at this dealership if you are looking for a Kia.

I bought a used certified vehicle from this dealership back in April and called back days later to request my spare keys that should have come with the car, and I was told that someone would call me back, and I never got the call. Therefor I came into the dealership in person and spoke with the General Sales Manager and he assured me that the ZacK will contact the previous owner of the car and if not that a key will be cut in the place of my spare. Needless to say I never received a call from Zack, therefor I showed up again in person to inquire once again about the spare key. The General Sales Manager was out that day at a doctors' appt., and a nice young guy helped me out by taking me to his office and calling the previous owner whom admitted that he did not have the key in fact he insisted that he never received a a spare when the car was purchased new (if you can believe that). The nice young guy who helped me alerted Zack to my presence and Zack spoke to me to say that unfortunately a spare can not be given to me and that I should be able to go and have one made myself. Zack shooed me away by saying that he will call me and assure me that I can receive service for my car for the inconvenience . In fact Zack went as far as to stand in front of me and put my cell number into his phone as if he would send me a text as a reminder. Really Zack!!!

While walking the lot on a Tuesday morning just looking at the Kia Soul selection I encountered Eddie Gilbert, one of the top Reps at Myrtle Beach Kia (I didn't know this at the time). Eddie asked me a few questions and we were off and running! His laid back style and personality was so refreshing compared to the salesmen I had talked to all week on various lots. After discussing my "must haves" he took all my criteria to the command central area inside the showroom and came back with a quote we could start with.....none of this "I have to ask my manager" and disappearing into an office somewhere. After test driving the car overnight I went back to seal the deal. It was Eddie's day off but he came into work to finish up with me and stayed with me for hours while they prepped the car so I could just drive off the lot. He taught me all about the features and functions and got all paperwork done in a very professional manner. All staff was so helpful and knowledgeable, friendly and the dealership had a great "vibe". They sold 11 cars that day - they rock!

My husband and I was on vacation at N myrtle and saw a Kia online that we were interested in. We sent a message about it and was quickly called back by Eric. We went to see it and it was what we wanted and was showed the car facts and was told several times it had passed their recertification and everything is great with it even though it showed the motor had been replaced before it was originally sold, the interior wasn't the correct color, showed it had been on the lot since March but was told they didn't receive it until the end of May. Was told that it had been serviced regularly but the car facts only showed service at 15,000 and 35,000. So they pulled their service records and it showed a minor motor repair but nothing exact and still only showed the 2 services. They couldn't prove anything about regular service on it. They wasn't willing to give us any kind of discount for paying cash, we got a whopping $70 off the price of it. But because Eric was such a good sellsman and even when we left the dealership, he continued to try to get us a better deal and called us several times. We finally went back and purchased the Sorento. We drove it 600 miles and warning lights started coming on and we ran the car diagnostic and it said to call the local KIA dealership for them to figure out what is wrong. 4 days after we bought it, it has problems. We took it to our local KIA dealership and even after 3 hrs their computers can't diagnosis the problem so we took it back on Sunday afternoon to leave for a couple of days so they can begin going through it and figure out what is wrong with it. We called Eric and he said he would get back to us and we haven't heard anything from him.

I was looking into getting a bigger car so that my family and I had more space for road trips. We had a Kia Soul and we loved it, but it just didn't have the trunk space that we needed to feel comfortable on trips. We weren't sure what we wanted when we came in and we ended up falling in love with the Sorento.Aaron Clark helped us as we hemmed and hawed through what we wanted and helped us get exactly what we needed and more. This is my 4th KIA and my 3rd Optima purchased from MB KIA. I got my 2009 from Matt. (2) E-mails and a short visit and I drove off in a new car with $8,000 in my pocket. My 2013 & 2016 I purchased from Tim. Now this is a guy that makes car buying easy. A few E-mail conversations to hammer out a deal and it is show up for a few hours a drive home in your new car. Terral had all the paper work ready and the signing process took less than 20 min. while the shop was prepping my new Optima This is truly the future of car buying. When I get ready for my 2020 model I am going to shop the inventory on line, pick out my new car, send Tim an E-mail or (2) and go pick up my car. Just tell Tim what you have to trade, what you owe on it and what you want to pay for your new one. He will make it work.

I recently purchased a 2013 Nissan Sentra from Myrtle Beach Kia. My first contact was with Lou Gallitto. His handshake was firm and a big Italian smile. I was looking for. Pre owned car and a certain price range. He showed me the Nissan, talked about the features, took it for a test ride and went into the sales area and worked a good deal. The purchase was late on Saturday afternoon and it was agreed to pick it up on the following Monday. He had the car shining like brand new and he had a pin strip added that we talked about. Overall a great experience.After a few days of enjoying the car I had a problem. Not knowing about the keyless entry key fob, I left it in the car over night and it was determined that the car battery discharged and messed up the computer codes. Prior to knowing what was wrong I called service at Myrtle Beach Kia and spoke with Bradley Cooper. I told him the problem and did his best to find a solution over the phone. He even called the Nissan dealership and asked them to help. Nothing we tried worked. Without hesitation he had a tow truck come pick up the car to have the service department check it out. After resetting the codes and replacing the battery I was called to inform it was ready. They offered to have somebody pick me up and take me to get my car. They also re detailed the car. I met the service manager Jim DeHart and thanked him for providing top quality service. It appears I may have caused the problembut Myrtle Beach Kia took charge and made a happy customer even happier. I would highly recommend Myrtle Beach Kia for sales and service. Many thanks to Lou, Bradley and Jim.

I bought my car from Tim in 2014. My Dad was looking for a new car so we stopped by to see Tim last week. We were looking for something lower than the small SUV that he had but not something really low. The Kia Soul was the perfect car. Tim was great with my Dad. He explained everything to him and made him feel really comfortable. That was quite a feat. Tim is very patient and just knows what the client needs or wants. The entire service area is clean including the work bays pretty impressive. The lounge well stocked with coffee water and snacks should you require. No vending machines here. Great experience.

Where do I begin. Our salesmen Tim Bazinet is amazing. As a senior , the new technology of the new cars today are confusing to me. We previously owned a 2007 Kia Sedona EX van. While getting it serviced, we visited the Kia parking lot and checked out the new Kia vans. My husband, who was dead set on keeping our "old faithful" Kia van, became interested after viewing the new vehicle. Originally, Mr. Aaron Clark spoke with my husband a while back so we asked for him in the showroom. He was at lunch, so Mr. Joel McGuire offered to help us until Aaron became available. He was very helpful and started the process. Mr. Matt Bazinet became involved in the discussion when we had further questions. We began to feel even more comfortable as Matt went into even more in-depth information about the van (especially since he himself drove one and showed us). After deliberation, of course, we felt that we would return to Kia and make a lease/purchase. We traded in "old faithful" and now drive a beautiful new van that we chauffeur our grandchildren in, make road trips with friends, and just enjoy the comfortableness of the space. Mr. Terral Altman was so professional and prompt in completing all necessary paperwork for the lease/purchase. Mr. Aaron Clark made sure all paperwork was done, had the van cleaned up, and filled the gas tank. All in all we have also been very happy with service at Myrtle Beach Kia, and now we have had first hand experience with the sales and management part of that establishment. It's a family-owned business, that makes you feel like they really want you to be happy with their people and your purchase. Bravo.

I'm almost an hour and a half from the dealership and I noticed exactly what I wanted on their website. Chris, along with Errick, made everything as easy as pie. They had everything ready when we got there and it took no time at all to be driving our new truck home. Terral in finance offered a deal that I thought needed no haggling with and we were shortly otw home......that's when we were forgotten about. I was told about a promotion for mother's day that they were sending, to your choice of female, mother's day flowers......after numerous phone calls to Chris, I ended up getting Dan, the manager involved and 2 weeks after mother's day, she finally got her flowers. Two days after our purchase I was stranded with a dead battery.....once again Chris gave me the runaround for over a month before getting the manager involved once again. Most of the people here are probably great people but I will never do business here again for the fear of having to deal with Chris......once you sign the papers he's done with you.

Absolutely positive experience purchasing my KIA Sorento at Myrtle Beach KIA on 501, and Tim Bazinet was key in my decision to purchase from them. I'd already done my research on this model before stepping onto the lot. All that was left was to test drive it, and the cost. Everyone was so down-to-earth and welcoming. Tim feels like an old friend from the "get-go". He does a great job in making you feel comfortable, no pressure, explains everything, and he is so patient. This is my THIRD KIA Sorento purchased from Tim Bazinet. To say the least his customer service gets better with each purchase! Tim is always very through in explaining and demonstrating all of the upgrades in the vehicle. He has never tried to sell me anything that I was looking for or out of my budget. To my surprise Tim even sent me a bumper sticker for my new Sorento to replace the one that I left on the old one that read "My son is in the US Navy". That was so thoughtful considering my son is deployed. I will be calling again on Tim when I am ready for my next KIA.

We still had 3 months left on our 2014 Kia Sorento that we had leased from Myrtle Beach Kia. We happened to be in the neighborhood, so we decided to stop in to Myrtle Beach Kia just to look at the latest model Sorento and find out the particulars about turning in our old lease vehicle. We were greeted in the parking lot by salesman Rich Rizzo. We told him we were just going to look at the new Sorentos before we turned in our leased vehicle. Rich immediately offered to personally show us all the changes in the new 2016 Sorento, and he also pointed out the differences between our 2014 model and the 2016 model. He then asked us to take a test drive so we could get a feel for the new Sorento. After the test drive we sat down with Rich and discussed price and leasing terms as well as the return of our vehicle. I really wasn't expecting to sign a new lease for another couple of months.... but like they say in the movies, "I got an offer I couldn't refuse". Rich was actually going to get the new Sorento prepped immediately so we could drive home in it! It was getting late in the day, so we decided we would pick up the new car the following day. Rich took back our old Sorento and handed us the keys to a brand new Sorento to drive home in! We returned the next day to pick up our shiny, brand new Sorento. Rich went over the vehicle with us again and even uploaded my wife's cell phone address book for her. Many thanks to Rich and Myrtle Beach Kia for making the whole process not only painless and simple, but actually an enjoyable experience. Great car, great people to deal with. We'll be back!

I was in the market for a different vehicle. I had driven a Saturn for eleven years, but now Saturn has gone out of business. I was seeing a lot of KIA s out there on the road, so I wanted to investigate, I searched the online inventory of the MB dealership and found one that was interesting to me. I went in and asked about it, but it was "already sold". The folks there were really easy to talk to, and accomodating in every way. Before I knew it, I was convinced and was driving home in a NEW KIA Soul. I NEVER buy a "new" car. I have absolutely NOT regretted my decision. I have had several fellow KIA owners approach me and start conversations based on the vehicle I was driving. I have heard NO ONE say a negative word about them. So, I think I will stick with KIA for awhile, and will praise the sales staff, especially Matt and Tim B and recommend them to anyone who asks about what kind of vehicle to buy.

I have had my 2012 Kia Sorrento serviced at Myrtle Beach Kia since moving to the beach. I have moved to Florence 1 year ago and still drive down to this dealership. I just traded-in my 2012 for a 2016 Kia Sorrento. Eddie did a great job as my salesperson and answered my questions. He told me about the many new options on the car as I took it for a test drive. Upon receiving numerous letters from Myrtle Beach Kia to buy back my 2012 Optima, I decided to talk to them. My salesperson was Cameron Pickens,to my delight in meeting her, I found that she wasn't only a pleasant person to deal with but genuine. Cameron listened to my so called "demands" because I was perfectly happy with my existing vehicle and had no real intension of trading. But since I was going through a divorce and my Optima was co-signed with my soon to be ex I wanted to be independent in my dealings with a new vehicle and had nothing for a down payment. When all was said and done, I drove off the lot in a 2014 Blue Kia Forte Koupe. I am still in awe at how much Cameron cared that my wishes were met and that I had the best experience with car buying on my on. All I can say is "Cameron ..You Rock!" I'm prior a KIA customer so I know what I wanted. While doing extensive research to replace a still-excellent car (in my opinion) and did not have any need to replace it at this time, My wife and I stopped by the local KIA dealership out of curiosity to see what their cars were like. Having read much about the various makes in the class segment we were interested in, most were duplicates of the others so we did not expect to much difference with the car we went to look at. We were met at the dealership door by a very nice sales representative, Rich Rizzo, who seemed overly joyed to please us. He also had the answer to most of our questions and when he didn't, he found the answer before we left the dealership. However, after a few questions, Mr. Rizzo also knew exactly what we were interested in and found one on their lot. Besides being bowled over by Mr. Rizzo's eagerness to please, we were also bowled over by the KIA he showed us. It had more content than the competition, and the price, while good wasn't what we had limited ourselves to paying. After some discussion, we were convinced to take the car home overnight to see if it was what we really liked. After sleeping on it and exploring the car's features, we were convinced about buying it but we needed to get it to a price point that we could accept. Our still-cherished current car was appraised and folded into the discussion about cost and were again bowled over by the offer they made. Let me put it into familiar terms: It was an offer we couldn't refuse. As a matter of fact it was so good we would have been foolish not to take advantage of it. All-in-all, the acquisition of our KIA was a pleasant surprise; the sales representative was excellent, the deal was excellent, the dealership was excellent. Kudos to Rich Rizzo, and the Myrtle Beach KIA Team.

On 2/18/16 I visited Myrtle Beach Kia. I previously had a kia soul, with high mileage and a few more years left with payments. My initial thought was to go into Kia, get an idea of if it were possible to get a new car. I wanted newer car, low miles, and same payments or slightly more than my current payment. (I am a 22 year old female, and this is my first time buying a car on my own.) Going into Kia, I met Marc. Let me just say, that Marc was very nice. He was a pleasure to work with, and this rating is in no way directed towards him. If I could pick my perfect car salesman, it would be Marc. With that being said, this rating would be directed towards Marc's "higher up's". When figuring out the paper work I mentioned to Marc, "Marc, do not send my credit to more than one bank. If the one bank you send it to does not accept my terms. Then it is not meant to be." As I said before, I'm young and one thing that I'm working hard at is trying to get and keep good credit. After everything was said and done, I left with a 2014 kia soul. Less miles, more years, and $60 more a month. But, that's the least of my worries. What has made me infuriated is the fact that more than 4 banks have reached out to me letting me know they declined my terms. I am not a credit guru. But, I know that 4 no's cannot be the key to a good credit score. When I tell you ONE bank, I mean ONE bank. I don't mean 4-5. So I'll end with, Myrtle Beach Kia needs to learn how to be honest. And don't just do what will 'make the sale' do what's best for the customer. Because of my experience, I will not be recommending anyone to Myrtle Beach Kia.

When you go to Myrtle Beach Kia make sure to ask for Rich Rizzo because this is a sales person that will go the extra mile and a few more. The dealership is kind of small but they have a good size stock and the service people make you wonder how all the other dealers get away with the crap they pull. From the time you get there wether it be to purchase or to get servicing for your vehicle you are treated like a valued customer. By the way I purchased my second car from them in 15 months. In Nov of 15 I got a Soul special edition (Carribean Blue Model) for my second car (for the wifey to use) and I just got a 16 Sorento Limited Edition (SXL) that I simply love. Total time for both purchases 9 hours. Anyone who has purchased a car knows that is extra speedy and this is their standard way of doing business. The Kia product has been steadily weedleing its way into the top brands club and this dealership is also. Good competent people + good product means it is really hard to lose.

Received excellent care from Lou and a young salesman ( c and recall his name) on purchase of used 2014 kia soul ...noticed cut in sidewall of 1 tire and Lou had new tire ordered and installed. After driving car a few days it started missing. Took it into service dept. And talked to Matt .. He supplied me with a rental free of charge while they tracked down the problem ( this problem has happened twice now ) and each time they have made repairs (intermittent problems are hard to find sometimes).... So far so good... car is running great and this is best dealership i have ever delt with thanks Lou and Matt. ......service was good enough that I'm thinking about buying another kia soul later this year from lou

We spent time trying to deal with a Lincoln dealer with no success. Mainly, we were determined to replace the safety features that we had in our Lincoln and we wanted a bigger SUV. Most vehicles did not offer these features, so we looked to Kia for them. We were pleased with the vehicle they had on the lot and made a deal that day. I had been looking for a bigger SUV for months. I had visited many dealerships with no luck because the sales people just did not seem to care. I saw a used KIA Sportage that I thought would fit the pricing that I needed and I struck up a conversation via the internet. Chris answered my text promptly, I was impressed, so I called and boom, he answered the phone. I told him exactly what my needs were and we chatted and I instantly felt comfortable. I left work that day and drove straight to the dealership, and Chris was waiting for me...I had some credit struggles and he worked for hours to get it right and to give me all my options. He promised to help me through this and that he and KIA would be there to help me refinance when I could. HE is a CHAMPION in my eyes. The next day he promised me a detail and held true to his word. He told me I was part of the FAMILY now and that is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Chris, I will be back to see you.

He told he how he was going to school to get his degree in business so one day he can become a GM. I thought that was excellent! Although I got my car from a dealership in another state before moving to SC, my experience at Myrtle Beach Kia has been great. The dealership was easy to find and the facility is state of the art. I used to drive a Santa Fe, but at 6'4", I found the Sorento gave me more head and leg room MB Kia is by far the friendliest dealership with whom I've ever dealt. Go check them out.

This is my second new Kia. I bought the first one 5 years ago and had little problems with the KIA over 5 years. Truly, everything is warranted bumper to bumper 5 years or 60,000 miles. Mr Eric Trotter saw to my recall on my Sorento. He also took care of another recall that I wasn't aware of. He checked on those of us waiting in the lounge & was friendly & pleasant. Hats off to all the traffic from the sales floor to the service department. The first time I ever went to Kia on 501 was a year and one month ago. I needed a second car because I gave my oldest son my old one. Rick was my salesman who helped me get what I was looking for. My credit is not so good. I didn't have a down payment but I needed a low monthly payment. So I drove out of there with a very nice 2011 Ford Focus. I was very happy. Well, after I just had my first year anniversary of my Ford Focus my oldest son a month later totaled it! He's fine praise The Lord! So I came back to Rick at Kia, told him what happened. My status was still the same: I needed low payments with no money down. This time I walked out with a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. This one has more features than my Ford Focus. So I'm still once again even more happier than my last great experience. Thank you Rick & Don :)

I was told that I was pre approved via email once I arrive at the dealership first of all nobody knowledge or spoke to me. Then when somebody asked who I was there to see nobody asked me to have a seat they just said ok and walked to the back then the person that was supposed to speak with me never discussed or had any ideas for what rate I was actually approved for or what type of vehicle when I specifically asked for the necessity of a van. Then due to being self employed I was not offered financing so I will supposedly pre-approved.

I purchased my 2014 Sorento via the Internet from Tim Bazinet and he couldn't have made the experience any easier. The Business manager added in $800 gap insurance and $2200 warranty without disclosing the cost. Conveniently I put down $3000 on the car. I didn't find out the cost of those products until I received the loan information. My vehicle broke down while I was out of town, and I believe they tried to take advantage of the situation.

My husband and I have never bought a car we had a 1998 For F150 drove it for 288 thousand miles and decided it was time for a new vehicle. We decided on a KIA as we were told that KIA are great cars. We were in town to celebrate a 50th birthday and stopped to eat before checking in to our hotel. When we started to leave our vehicle wouldn't start- had to call Kia roadside assistance for a tow to dealership. Upon arrival service department people were not willing to help us with loaner vehicle - said they don't do that... It was after flooding from Joaquin and rentals were booked. Just seemed they really didn't care we were having issues with our vehicle and asked us if we wanted to buy a new one. We were feeling down since we didn't know what was wrong with our vehicle. In walks Bobby Gale and everything turned around after he talked to us and found out our situation. We found out then from service that we needed a replacement part and it wouldn't be in for a few days. Mr. Gale then introduced us to Steve Blair and Errick Hayes who both helped us get a loaner vehicle until our car was fixed. Although it was out of the norm to loan us a vehicle they made sure our trip wasn't going to turn out bad. Errick was very quick in getting all the paper work together so we could get our trip started. A few days later and our car was fixed. I would have given 5 stars but the way things started with the service department kept me from doing so..

I had the pleasure of working with Rich Rizzo on my custom-ordered car this past weekend. I came in from out of town, because he worked with my boyfriend on all the details of exactly what I wanted in options, and the interior/exterior colors. Rich got me EXACTLY what I wanted, and explained all the different options to me in layman's terms once I was ready to take it home. He and his team at MB Kia were very gracious since I had a last minute situation, and had to bring my 13 year old son to the beach and dealership with me. My son was happy that he was able to drink coffee and eat Chick-Fil-A tenders for lunch that was provided by staff, while I was doing business. I am ecstatic that I finally got the car of my dreams at a great price, and I would definitely do business again with Rich when that time comes. I highly recommend Rich and Myrtle Beach Kia!

I am considered, by most standards, and for lack of a better terms, a difficult person. I am a very shrewd shopper, especially when it comes to my car. As is often the case when I enter a dealership, I refuse the typical deluge of feeble minded sales attempts, and demand to be left alone. However, on this occasion, I have to give this young man credit. I could see he was apprehensive about his required sales pitch, and even more nervous about wasting his time. I believe his name was Tim, and he was quite friendly, and even more gracious to my wishes of being left alone. He provided me with the features and benefits of the vehicle I have been researching, and offered intelligent, yet honest opinions.(probably to the detriment of his General Manager) His professionalism, courtesy, and product knowledge was refreshing and unobtrusive. I have an issue with my car. It is undrivable. I was on vacation and this dealership did not even assist me on finding a rental or loaner car. My past car was with another company and they always provided a loaner car for any service that was more than a day. I called sales today and after being told they would call back but it may take an hour...I never got a phone call. 7 hours waiting and no phone call back.

.We purchased a new Kia Borrego in Akron Ohio 5 years ago and on our first trip to Myrtle Beach in it, I could smell anti freeze when the car was stopped. Called The Service Dept at Myrtle Beach Kia and talked to Kathy Davis and said bring it in if it was not over heating. We arrived the folks in the service area analyzed the issue found a defective thermostat housing and repaired it zero charge under warranty, Bobby Gales father in law happened to be the dedicated driver that week shuttling us back and forth to North Myrtle Beach. We come back every year and get the car serviced and wheel alignments specifically because of the trust. We actually purchased a second Kia selecting an Optima. I just stopped in as I was heading back from Columbia and hit a gigantic pothole. I went into the dealership and spoke to TIm and told him what happened. He then took me over to the service area and I was willing to wait to have my car looked at. It turns out that I needed an alignment and both the service writer and the mechanic explained what happened and even though they asked me to wait, it was not that long and I was back on the road.

The Kia Dealership personnel we encountered as we waited for our vehicle to be serviced greeted us in a friendly manner. Also, the young lady who arranged the service call took care of all our requests and verified that we were satisfied with the work that was done prior to our leaving. Great job! I compare car shopping with going to the dentist. However, Tim Bazinet made it a very painless experience. I started my search with cars.com and met with Tim to test drive some vehicles. As he approached us, he was very pleasant and confident. He asked if it would be alright for "May" to shadow him as she was being trained. We did some test drives and through talking TIm realized that we are not those people who do not fall in love with cars. That our basic need was to get a sedan that has good gas mileage with some bells and whistles in it. He gave us three different cars to choose from. We stated we would like the 2014 leftover and I said "Dazzle me with your best price" as I was so done with car shopping. I didn't want to be going back and forth. Tim dazzled me and between the entrance in the dealership and driving the car off the lot it was exactly four hours. I test drove more than one car, I decided on a car, handled the financing, had TIm review everything in the car so I would not be lost trying to handle all the bells and whistles. He was very thorough. I purchased a 2014 Kia Optima and I'm loving it. Tim even called me a couple of days later to ask how I was doing with the car. I would recommend him or May (as I think she has been trained to this point). This was a very positive experience

I usually equate buying a car and dealing with the salesman as I do visiting the dentist. This experience was not painful at all. Tim Bazinet was great!!!!! He had a girl named May shadowing him and he was not only great with us, but also with her. He did not push us, when he got to know us, he knew we were looking for a car that had some features we wanted and we wanted to pay the best price for it or we were walking out the door. He kept showing us different cars and when we chose the one we liked, he gave us his very best offer right away which was lower than cars.com said we should target the price. In four hours, we went through multiple cars, selected one to purchase, did the financing, Tim then went over all the features in the car and linked up my smart phone to it before I drove the car off the lot. He reviewed all the buttons with me so that I would know how to use every one. He was amazing and full of knowledge about the cars. I am going to recommend him to all my friends and neighbors.

I usually think of going to a car dealership to purchase a car worst than going to the dentist. I dread the experience. I did some research on cars.com and was put in touch with multiple dealers. Tim Bazinet from Myrtle Beach Kia gave me upfront pricing to start with. When we went to the dealership, he listened to our needs and kept finding cars to suit that. We ended up with a 2014 Kia Optima with all the features that I wanted. He was very impressive and not pushy at all. When I said..."I'm not going to go back and forth with you on price..so just wow me to start with"...he came in at a lower price than I thought he would. We were in the dealership for 4 hours, but we had test drive, compared 3 different cars, put our financing together and drove off the lot with the car. Tim even sat in the car with me to help me sync up my "smart phone" to the car and how to use every last button. I felt really confident driving off.

We walked in to Kia to talk to Tim Basinet who I talked with on the phone. He was terrific , he made us feel very comfortable. Didn't attack us as soon as we walked in about how much do you want to spend or what car. He did some friendly talking to relax us offered water coffee and donuts. Terrific salesmen, very good at his job, made us feel like family. Showed us around the dealership, which is beautiful and clean everyone smiled and said hello, after awhile with him showing us a few cars in relationship to what we wanted, we all agreed on a price and Tim made the sale. Had some trouble with our Sedona while on vacation and gave this dealership a call and left a message. My call was returned the very next morning. They told me to come in anytime that day and they would take a look at it. While they had the vehicle they addressed two recall items and even vacuumed my car. Which by the way was a sandy mess! This was my second purchase from Myrtle Beach Kia. Joe Ruggieri has put together a total team that is highly customer oriented and he runs that ship tightly with a continual focus on that goal. Joey Fuentas is a whiz on the technical aspects and will promptly answer all user questions without the need to refer to a book. He knows the Kia product. And, it coudln't be possible to find a more Customer Oriented Service Manager than Jeff Morgan. Jeff's team services the whole customer versus just the vehicle. I always feel better after I've talked to Jeff. Overall, this makes for a really good dealership with which to do business. Give them a shot at your business. If your experience is similar to mine (and I'm betting it will be), you'll be really glad that you did.

I never expected to leave Myrtle Beach KIA with a car. I had been turned down by all the other dealers in the area, which had forced me to go to North Carolina 4 years ago. Recently I had been debating to trade in my Honda Accord on something new, and trying to deal with dealerships here in Myrtle Beach. I made my appointment a week ago for this past Saturday the 22nd, and when i walked in I really was expecting to get turned down, and being forced to go out of state again. Well Myrtle Beach KIA went beyond what i had expected out of a dealership. This staff of fellas really went to bat, and got me out of the high interest rate i was paying with my Honda. It feels good knowing finally a dealership took their time and got me in a great car. I love the way it handles, and manuevers while driving. I had my heart set on the Soul but after being in the FORTE i was hooked. Its small compact, and very comfortable. I know when i buy again, i will return to Myrtle Beach KIA. SORRY TO THE OTHER DEALERS, BUT MB KIA GOT MY BUSINESS!!! I will highly recommend this staff to others that i come across. We were introduced to Michael as we entered the dealership, very friendly guy and very knowledgeable as well. My wife and I were not looking to buy this day, just checking out different cars and options. Michael listened to what we were interested in and pointed us towards the Certified Pre-Owned Sonatas. We looked over a few of them and really liked the looks of the Dark Cherry 2011 they had on the lot. I am in a power wheel chair and need the room to store it in the back, Michael assured us it would, and even called over another person, picked up my chair with them and put it in the car! IT FIT! :) We ended up with such a great deal on the car, trade in on our vehicles, and 10 year, 100K mile warranty was all but given to us.... we could not say no! We now have a KIA Sonata, the piece of mind of a 10 year bumper to bumper warranty, and a great dealership and salesman to recommend! They applied no pressure, just a great deal, fast turn around time and an entire staff that you could tell truly cared about our business. On entering the dealership I was on guard , armed with all my facts and trade in values on our Smart car. After two days of WORKING WITH the people at the dealership, we bought our first of many to come (we hope) Kia Soul. Without being pressured into any sale the staff that met us at the Myrtle Beach store don't have to worry about selling a product that can essentially sell its self. Sandy and I would like to thank Tim, Ben, Matt, Steve and of course Mr. Bobby Gale ( thank you for water) you guys are professional and courteous and no "BS" or drama.As for me ,I'm sold on the product being 6'8" I was surprised how spacious and comfortable these cars are , and as far as a solid drivetrain 4 cylinders have come a long way the "GDI" fuel delivery system is very impressive for response. the warranty is by far the best we have read or inquired about for any dealership. 10 year or 100,000 mile drive/power train and then we bought extra on the Bumper to Bumper " The Wrap Package" 10 year or 100,000 this car is covered till January 2022.This is the best 24 hr decision we have made in sometime and I tell ya dealing with a local dealer that REALLY LOOKED OUT FOR A LOCAL means the world to us ...... 2 years ago I wanted to trade My jeep cherokee in for a smaller more gas saving car and fell in love with the Kia Soul. Did my research and went to the dealer ship to test drive trade in and buy a better car. I given a phone call from the salesman (Ben) that I had been approved and that I should come in Immediatly I left work early and went in when I got there I was asked what car I was looking at it was a used Kia Soul 2006 Mind you it was 2010 when I attempted this purchase. I was told I was approved took it for a test drive and was told to come back the next day since they were getting ready to close. Took off work the next day to sign paper work and get the car and was told that it was sold and I was left to choose among cars that I did not want. I was shown a 2006 Kia Spectra Hatch back I was not interested at all but the the sales man was sooooo pushy. Well he told me it was an amazing deal that I would be crazy if i didnt jump on it plus I was told that keep it for a year or two bring it back and trade it in on something that you wanted. me being the naive person took his advise against my better judgement.the actual process took almost 4 hours. 2 years passed and I return to the dealer to purchase a 2010 Soul I saw online in their inventory and low and behold I was called by the same salesman (Ben) after inquiring online. Well I filled out the credit app on line and tried to speed up the process. well I got a call the next day and i was told that I was approved and that I needed to come in and birng my paystub. I asked again do you think you can really do this cause i have to take off work to come in he told me yes we can get you in the soul. I take off work drive all the way to the dealeership and sat there for 2 hours stewing as he ran back and foorth just like last time just to be told that I cane get it becasue mof my trade in is worth less than i owe Still made me sit there for 45 more grueling minutes just to tell me he cant do it. SUCH A DISSPAOINTMENT! after taking off work and doing all this again! I never should have been told that I was approved if he knew I wasnt.... and taking my keys and making me sit there for 2.45 houtrs after leaving my job wasnt cool either. needless to say Next time I will NOT be purchasing a Kia and its mighty funny I went to the Chevy place and got approved right on the spot for a car that i really liked and costed a lil more than what the Kia would have so the moral of my story is The sit and stew technique may have worked in the old days but people now adays dont have the time to waste at a dealer just to be turned away! Ben you sold me something that I did not like told meThat I could come back and trade it in when I came back to trade it in you tell me I owe more than the car is worth???? and I bought the car from you! My car had broke down over the weekend and was in need of a reliable car. I decided to look to see if Kia could put me in a car. On that particular day it was raining (Oct 7,2013). Before I could get out of my car good, here comes Joseph with an umbrella. He wowed me with customer service right off the bat. I was very nervous because I had not purchased a new car since 2007. He made my car buying experience less stressful and put me at ease. I haven't come across excellent customer service like that ever. I highly recommend him as and awesome car salesman. The Finance manager was also great to me..made me feel good with my experience with KIA..Thank you

Got a real great deal on a Chevy here. They even checked out the AC a month later when I had an issue with it for free. Had lunch later with the sales Rep that sold me the car real nice place. I'd definitely buy another car from them if I needed to.

My car broke down and I was told by a friend to go see Tim Bazinet at Kia. She said he really helped her out in purchasing her new car. I was greeted by Mr. Bazinet who was standing outside the front doors. He was very friendly and made me feel at ease about purchasing my very first new car. He didn't jump straight into running my credit and asking what I was looking for. We talked for the first ten minutes about my family and his. I always viewed car salesman as pushy people just wanting a commission. The fact that he first wanted to get to know me and not just how much I could spend was a huge relief. When we started getting into the financing part he always informed me of what was going on. He introduced me to his brother Matt and to Steve Parker. I absolutely love them both! The whole process did not take long at all. I didn't expect to be driving away with a brand new KIA RIO! I absolutely love my new car. After it was all done Tim walked me around and introduced me to everyone that worked there. I left there feeling like I had a new family. I've been to many places where I felt like a regular customer, but not here. The customer service was by far the best I've seen!

We visited Myrtle Beach Kia a year ago and were impressed with how helpful Tim Bazinet was. We weren't ready to buy at the time but just bought our new Kia Sorento from Tim last week. He was so helpful, honest and a pleasure to work with. Steve Parker helped us with the financial details and final paperwork and we enjoyed our experience with him also. Any old farts like me will remember the days of torment when buying a new car was similar to having a colonoscopy without anesthesia. Welcome to the 21st century and the internet... do a little research then send Tim Bazinet an email. He will walk you through an honest, detailed, and confident purchase.. No back and forth haggling... They really do want you to get a good deal ... Tim is the internet man but everyone there made you feel welcome without the sense that the hounds were ready to pounce. The facility at KIA Myrtle Beach is professional yet comfortable and welcoming... I bought the car I saw online( 2014 Sorento) and received a very good price on my 10 yr. old trade in.. No high pressure, no bait and switch, no flim flam.. just good hard working people trying their best to provide a good product at a fair price with tremendous support.They also deal in late model used cars that seem to be a good buy if you're in that market.All in all.. KIA of Myrtle Beach will give you peace of mind and no anxiety or buyers remorse. They truly care.

Internet Sales Representative Tim Bazinet proved to be very knowledgeable, personable, and efficient...he had the car we were interested in on the back lot ready for review. After agreeing to the selling price, he quickly moved to have the car checked and prepped so that we did not have to spend more than three hours in the dealership before driving out the door. There was no sales pressure owing in part, I susupect, to the fact that the Kia Sorento is a popular model. Indeed, while in the showroom two other couples inquired about the car's availability. Overall we were very satisfied with the way Tim handled the transaction and would recommend him to others.

By far, the most positive experience I've ever had in the car buying process! Being injured, after a recent auto accident, I truly felt that these people cared, especially my salesman, Chris Mitchell! I consider him a friend! When returning for oil changes, I actually looked forward to seeing him again. Even the people in the service dept. could not have been more accommodating, washing my car, upon request, and sharing birthday cupcakes! I look forward to returning in the future & would buy another car from this dealership tomorrow, because of the people!

I recently stopped by Myrtle Beach KIA to look at the 2013 Alien Green KIA Soul that I had seen on TV. It was love at first sight. What an experience. I have not encountered a more enjoyable experience than I received at Myrtle Beach KIA. After a brief description, discussion, and financing options, I was offered a deal I could not refuse, by Chris Mitchell. Within a couple hours my new KIA Soul was cleaned, filled with gas (a big plus) my plate switched (no Dealer Tags) and Chris even helped us move all of our things from my trade-in to my new car. We actually drove the car home the same day! The next day we were invited back so that the service people could better explain all the wonderful features of my new KIA Soul. Besides a 10-year, 100,000 mile warranty, I also will receive my oil changes and tire rotations at the same KIA Dealership, at a minimum cost to me. What a convenience and peace of mind knowing my new Kia Soul will be well taken care of. This KIA Soul even has a special feature, if you are stalled in traffic or at a traffic light the motor cuts off. Once you move your foot off of the brake it takes off again, conserving gas. As a Retiree it just doesn't get any better than this. I highly recommend Myrtle Beach KIA and hope if you can stop by, you will say hi to Chris, Ben, Don, and Scott, I cannot thank them enough for making this deal possible. Because of my Kia's beautiful Alien Green color, I have dubbed it "ET". My son has taken it on a short road trip before I take my planned trips. When he left I told him; "ET phone home". Our Family experience was exceptional as we bought a Kia Sorento for my wife and a Kia Soul for myself. Chris understood our needs and walked us through the process and we received a fair value for our trade toward the cars. As we became Kia lovers our daughter decided she wanted a Kia Soul and then again Chris provided a comfort level for her as this was her first car purchase on her own. The credit department got her a fantastic rate of 1.25% and the payments were well within her range. We continue to get coupons for service which is basically oil changes and tire rotation's and again what a nice experience with the service staff.We just can't tell you how nice these cars are. My experience began via the internet when I made an inquiry to the dealership about a particular make and model. This is how I came to work with Tim Bazinet. He responded to every question I had in a timely manner and followed through by contacting us by phone prior to our coming to the dealership. We live 90 minutes from the dealership but were willing to make the trip in part due to Tim's level of confidence that he could place us in the right vehicle.Upon arriving to the dealership we were greated by other sales reps very kindly and all seemed to know of our pending arrival. Tim worked with us closely and was extremely knowledgable and able to answer all of our questions. Although we went to the dealership expecting to purchase a car we ultimately ended up leasing. This was something that had never been introduced to us at our local dealership, Stevenson Kia.Overall the dealership, the manager whose name escapes me (Tim's brother), the finance manager and our salesman Tim made this a pleasant experience and we would have no problem recommending it to our friends and family. Tim was extremely warm, professional and made us feel very comfortable, not pressured at all.

sat thur all the offer and buy session and I did not like the offer to sell me as is with the engine lite on and a large damage down the passenger side rear door. So I made a counter offer, with them fixing the problems and uping the price of my trade a little. Next day the guy calls me to say they are still working on the deal and when he got some complete number he would call me back. Two weeks now and still I have not hear from the guy.

My wife and I went up to Myrtle Beach Kia two weeks ago primarily to look at used Optimas for her. We did not see anything we liked in a used late model and did have some limited discussion regarding new 2013's that were a little beyond of our budget. We then expanded our search to Charlotte NC thinking a larger market might provide more cars and greater competition. After a a few days visiting with family and looking at cars she called and said she had found a used car she liked. I had previously rented this car while out of town and did not think it had either the appearance or features of the Optima. I called Steve,the Sales Mgr. at Myrtle Beach Kia, and after explaining our situation he came up with a number that seemed very fair. We went in the next day to buy expecting something somehow to change what we had been told and nothing did. Everything went just as we had been led to believe. Our compliments to Steve and Tim Bazinet,the salesman who put together the paperwork and spent a good amount of time showing us how to operate our new Optima!! I had not been through the new car buying process since 1992 - thanks for making it a good one.

Our experience with BILLY BURR at MYRTLE BEACH KIA was exceptional. His knowledge and friendly personality was instrumental in our decision to buy a KIA.
