Whatever you do, ask for Courtney Bell! I went into the dealership not knowing much about buying cars or what the experience would be like. Once referred to Mr. Bell, he made my experience smooth, exciting and very informative. He was always accessible to answer any questions I had or to ease any concerns I had. Also he was very knowledgeable about all the cars, including the model I was looking to buy. It doesn’t hurt that Mr. Bell has a great personality! I left the dealership with the best birthday gift I could’ve asked for this year. I usually don’t take the time to write a review but never have my husband and I came across a sales associate that we were this impressed with , take into consideration we had actually purchased a new vehicle 3 times in the past couple of years ! Rah was simply amazing! Rah is not only honest and trust worthy but he is also empathetic , budget friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Excellent experience at this location! We don’t live near by, but it was worth the drive to come out here and work with this dealership. We purchased a used Honda insight and had a great experience. All of our questions were answered. We never felt pressured. Trade in of our old car was smooth. Many thanks to Jeff Parham (JP) and Jill Verbich for taking care of us!!! We came to River Oaks Honda on a Saturday afternoon after spending most of the morning at another Honda dealer trying to buy a new van and ended up walking out. JP was wonderful to work with from the time he greeted us in the parking lot and we were able to get a fair price for our trade and put a down payment on a new Honda Odyssey but since the color we wanted was not in stock we were promised a van as soon as they can locate one. I came to Napleton Honda in River Oaks on a whim because I found the car of my dreams online. When I arrived, I knew I loved the car, but I thought it was a pipe dream. The car was a 2014 Lexus IS 250 with only 34,000 miles on it, and I knew I was an unexperienced buyer looking at a champagne vehicle on a beer budget. But Moody and Tony made it happen.Tony buys vehicles at the lowest possible rate online to pass the best discount available to customers. I had researched the Lexus IS 250 extensively, and I knew that the one I wanted was under market price. Because of his approach to buying and selling cars, I knew that Tony did not gauge on the cost of the car. But even still, Moody and Tony worked with me extensively to make the car affordable for me. Moody and Tony knew that I was an inexperienced car buyer (and a nervous wreck when committing to anything), but they did not take advantage of the situation. They made sure I was comfortable will all aspects of car ownership, from maintenance to monthly payments, and they really made me feel like I was part of the Ed Napleton family. They were incredibly patient with my indecisive nerves, and I ultimately walked away with a great car at a great price. My past experience buying a car from a dealership is not what I would call positive. The salespeople I have encountered in the past would typically give the "hard sell" which created an uncomfortable experience. It was completely different at this Honda dealership. Our salesperson, "Moody" Sulman, was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to do business with. No hard sell, just a very knowledgeable salesman who answered all of our questions and helped guide us through the whole process. In addition, of the five Honda dealerships I received quotes from, Napleton Honda in Lansing gave me the best deal of all. I would wholeheartedly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a Honda vehicle and would further recommend that you ask for "Moody" if you want a superior buying experience.

Having serviced my Honda CRV with Janis Joseph (service advisor) for more than 14 years, this week we determined that it was time to (retire) my vehicle with 215,000 + miles. Janis led me to Jeffrey "JP" Parham, salesman, advising me that I was in "good hands." Indeed she was correct! I'd preselected the vehicle that I was interested in. JP" and I took it for a test drive! I was elated! "JP" showed me the operation of all of the "bells and whistles" of my new vehicle, leaving nothing to chance. I was then introduced to Sherri Pedersen Mgr., Jill Verbich-Customer Relations, made her way over to congratulate me, and Richard Smith, Finance Mgr. finalized things for me! Just wasted 5 days of my life wading through the deceptive practices of Sherri Pederson and Zana Belmer at Napleton Ricer Oaks Honda. First, they quote me a great price on a vehicle, then tell me they don't have it in stock. No problem, they said...they'll do a dealer trade for it. Nope - can't get it from another dealer. Don't worry, they can order one and have it in 10 weeks. After repeatedly asking to confirm THAT vehicle for THAT price, I don't get any definitive answer. Finally, after 5 days and my ultimatum email, Sherri drops the bomb(s): not only can I NOT order the vehicle (because "Honda won't guarantee that they'll even build it"), but even if I could, it would now have to include a $1590 protection package (winter mats, splash guards, cargo tray, wheel locks and ?!?pinstriping?!?) that she claims Honda is putting on all these models. Funny, the 10 or 11 other ones I've seen at other dealers don't all have those items. This was clearly a way of getting the price back up to a level they could actually live with. I've had at least 3-4 other dealers be up front about not being able to help me. At least they're honest and don't waste my time. I don't know if Sherri and Zana's shady tactics are representative of how this entire dealership operates, but I implore you to take your business to somewhere that doesn't outright lie to you. Sherri and Zana are the kind of car salespeople that give that profession a bad name.

Went to the dealership to buy a car I had seen online. According the them they had sold that vehicle that day. At this point I was disappointed and was going to chalk it up as a loss. However, like any dealership they led me to believe they could find the car from another dealership and have it brought over. That didn't work so they brought over the person who purchases their used cars (think it his name was Tony). He came over to guarantee he could work and get a car that was a year new but a sedan(i was looking for a coupe) into the price range I was looking for. So I then went and looked and the car and even though it wasn't what I came for I liked it enough that for the right price I would buy it. Needless to say another 40 minutes go by and then our salesman comes back with a quote that is over my monthly payments as well as being 8,000 dollars more than the car I originally came to buy. At this point they had wasted a little over 3 hours of my time with promises that never came to fruition. I demanded my keys and license back because during this time I had found the car I wanted from another dealership and verified it was there. Getting my keys and license back became another hassle as they tried to send 2 more people to question why I didn't want the car further wasting my time. Even to the point of treating me like I'm an idiot and saying he doesn't know which license is mine when he has a paper in his hand with my name on it and the other 2 licenses on the counter are women. All in all it was and extremely disappointing experience at a place that has such a high review. I will give them credit they used every sales trick known to man to try to convince me to buy the car, but I would never recommend someone to go there.But it all worked out in the end I was able to buy the exact car I wanted with 20k less miles and exactly in my price range at another dealership. Unfortunately I will never get back the 3+ hours I lost believing that River Oaks Honda could work our a deal.

My husband and I found Napleton River Oaks Honda while browsing Trucar.com. We were contacted within hours of inquiring about the vehicle online. We live 3 hours from the dealership but decided to make the drive the following day to purchase a 2013 KIA Optima SXL. We arrived right before they opened and was finally able to finish up and head home at 3 pm. Eric was our finance manager. He sold us a warranty that was to include interior protection (tears, rips, etc in the leather) and coverage that if the car was to be wrecked and considered a total loss, the loan would be paid off. We trusted him and did not read the pages and pages of supposed coverage. My husband and I are both 3rd shifters and at this point, had been awake for 27+ hours, was sleep deprived and ready to go home so we trusted Eric's word that we were purchasing what he said was included in this warranty. 10 days after purchase, I had to take the car to the local KIA dealership due to a gurgling noise coming from inside the dash, oil leaking, the back up camera and stero unit malfunctioning and the passenger door handle breaking off. At this time is when I read the warranty information and discovered the warranty did not include all coverage promised. I have attempted contact with Eric over a dozen times and have yet to receive a call back. I even went as far as to leave a message for Frank (the GM) and also, no response. I decided to try contacting the general finance department and was FINALLY able to establish contact with Richard who is also a finance manager. He was very helpful and apologetic and assured me he would pull my paperwork and get to the bottom of this. He never called back and never answered or returned the many, MANY voicemails I have left attempting to get this resolved. Also, I drove around for THREE weeks with expired dealer tags because their title department could not produce the necessary paperwork on time for me to legally register the car. I asked for them to extend my dealer tags being this issue was beyond my control and they declined. I asked for them to type a note simply stating the circumstances of the situation incase I were to be pulled over (I was by the way) and again, they declined. The people at Napleton River Oaks Honda are unprofessional and lack proper etiquette and basic customer service skills. They were all "smiles" and genuinely helpful until the sale was complete. They do not care about their customers and GOD forbid, if you do indeed purchase your next vehicle from them? Pray that the vehicle is in immaculate condition with 0 chance of ever breaking because it will be a nightmare attempting to get even the simplest of problems solved. And, if you purchase a warranty, do NOT take their word for what it includes, READ the fine print!! For your own protection.

My salesman, Alvin, was a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable and courteous. I also dealt directly with Frank, the general manager, who I also liked. However, I specifically requested that the financing go through Capital One instead of Wells Fargo because I simply do not like Wells Fargo......long story. The finance person also stated it would go through Capital One. But, somehow it ended up with Wells Fargo anyway. I left a voice mail for Frank and have not got a call back. It is frustrating not to get a call back.

I wish I would have checked Yelp first. I walked into Napleton River Oaks Honda just for a test drive and proceeded to let them pressure me into a sale that lasted from 6:30pm to 11:30pm. I made the mistake of going alone and after a long day at work. I've only ever purchased one vehicle (used) so I didn't have much experience with the process of buying new. They hadn't secured a bank for my auto loan prior to allowing me to leave with the vehicle and, after going over the paperwork (that I shouldn't have signed, at least before negotiating), I see that I got taken advantage of. I have a 780 credit score, but I agreed to 84 months of financing at 4.25%I'm an idiot, but more importantly they ran me down and exhausted me. They made me feel like I was getting a deal and that they were on my side. WRONG!!! On TOP of that, I "purchased" a cargo cover accessory that didn't come with the vehicle. Three days later, I received a call saying that my order wasn't processed and wasn't built into my financing, so I could spend $150 separately to purchase it. Unbelievable. I will never do any (more) business or maintenance here after reading over everything I received and signed. I guess you live and you learn.I will say that they contacted me via phone call in regards to a comment I made while dropping off my down payment, but I did not call them back because I just never want to deal with them again. Also, it's been a week and they still have not processed or titled my car for me to plate it.

I found my dream car, 2014 Dodge Charger R/T, online at cars.com and just had to have it. After finding out that it was at Napleton Honda I rushed over to see it in person. Jill was excellent at making sure that I drove away in my dream car, which was priced higher in the dealership than it was online, but Jill made sure that I paid the online price and received an extended warranty! She even called me the next day to make sure that my drive home was everything I had imagined. Everyone at this dealer is amazing and it is a great atmosphere...I would recommend everyone to visit Napleton Honda for their car needs!

They quoted me one price, then refused to honor the quote and asked for thousands more. Customers should beware. I contacted Napleton River Oaks for a quote on a specific Honda Accord. We communicated mostly through text messages. The employee I communicated with was "Zana." She first tried to get me to come in instead of giving me a quote. I told her I just wanted a quote at this time. For the vehicle I inquired about, she said: "The MSRP...is $33,465 and you have an eprice of $25,750 which is a savings of $7,715...which in no means set in stone." (sic). I was surprised, so inquired further about the trim and options. After some back and forth, she confirmed that this offer was for the vehicle I wanted. I also had her send me a picture of the window sticker. I decided to move forward, and made an appointment to visit the dealership. I also submitted a credit application online to try to make my visit as short as possible. Once I had submitted my application and arranged to purchase the car, I received a text saying that the quoted price was wrong; they actually wanted $29,500--nearly $4,000 more!I complained. Zana insisted it was an "honest mistake," that they wanted my business, didn't want me to be disappointed, and would see what they could do. I was hesitant, since car dealers are notorious for this type of activity, we could not have been clearer about the car and the price, and the timing was highly suspicious (they waited until they had a committed and invested buyer before upping the price). I nevertheless decided to hear them out. When I finally got the manager, Glen, on the phone, he gave me a final offer of $29,400. That's right, a break of $100. I felt insulted, told him so, and hung up. I then purchased the Accord from a competitor for a lower price than River Oaks' final offer.

After doing a lot of research on a Cadillac CTS I was looking for, I found a great deal online at Napleton Honda for the exact Cadillac CTS I was looking for. I left my information on their website and they got in contact with me right away. Tiffany was very friendly and very attentive to car needs; she then put me in contact with salesman Rafael who was able to make an appointment with me that went with my schedule as a busy working dad. The next day I went to Napleton Honda a little bit before they opened (9 a.m.) and Rafael was already there waiting for. He attended to all my needs and was very polite. We went on the test drive, which was amazing and in the process he informed me of all the car features. Afterwards we went in to try and make a deal; Rafael provided me with the Carfax and answered all the questions I had with any hesitation. I also had a budget and Rafael was able to work with me without any hassle and make it happen. He really did go the extra mile to get me into the beautiful 2009 pearl white Cadillac CTS that I wanted. Afterwards he detailed and washed the car; it pretty much looked like it came out the showroom. I'm truly happy I came to Napleton Honda and had a great person like Rafael to make this dream car come true. After getting looked over at a Cadillac dealership in Oak Lawn, I made my way out to Napleton River Oaks Honda. I jumped on cars.com and saw the Cadillac CTS Coupe that I was looking for and immediately called the dealership. I was told that the car was available and that they would have it ready for a test drive if I was willing to come in, which I was! So then I made my way out, test drove the car, and fell in love immediately! I was then greeted by Rafael Cartagena, Jr. Im a straight shooter, no dancing around, so I told him what I was looking for and the price range. We deliberated for a couple hours and both came to an agreement. Easy, very little hassle, no pressure, very little waiting, and very respectful. We shared stories and finished up the paper work. He was able to get me out with my new vehicle, had it washed and ready for me. He even called the next tday to ensure everything was ok with the car and myself. Never been treated so well at a dealership! I definitely felt like I took home "The Big Catch!" My next vehicle will definitely be at this dealership with Rafael Cartagena, Jr! He earned my business! Our sales person was Sundae Henderson. Great, very polite and knowledgeable. My wife and I got a quote for a vehicle off of truecar.com. We were assured that the dealership is very upfront with their pricing and there are no hidden fees. I had to leave and go to work and my wife was left to finish the financing paperwork. We where charged an extra $1000 for a transfer and shipping fee for the car which had already been at that dealership for over a month. We did not ask for it to be transfered or shipped. We where also charged any extra $700 and some odd dollars in other fees and dealer costs. Upfront and no hidden fees my xxx. The next day we noticed that there where a a few problems with the car, as it was used. The radio would not program time or stations and keep them programmed. We also noticed that the brakes felt a little off and the latch to the back seat was broken as well as the drivers side window would not go up properly. There were alsk a few other concerns we had. We were told to bring the car back to the dealership and they would remedy all the problems and concerns we had including the financial ones. At first we where impressed that they would take the time and without question fix all the problems. The dealership is an hour and a half away from where we live. When we arrived at the dealership Sundae was there to great us and immediately took the car into the service station. After about Fifteen minutes she returned to us with the car and explained that since it was a Nissan and that they are a Honda dealership that we would be better off bringing it a Nissan dealership. She called a Nissan dealership in the area and told them of our ordeal and that we would be on are way and that they are to remedy all problems. At this point it was late in the day and we had to get home, we asked Sundae if we could take it to a Nissan dealership closer to our house. She said that would be fine and to just have them call her to confirm the work that needed to be done. A week later I brought the vehicle to the Nissan dealership near our home, explained the problems and gave them Sundae's information as she had requested. Six hours later I received a phone call from the dealership, they explained to me that the entire headunit council needed to be replaced, as well as the motors for the sunroof, and the entire wiring system for all the aux power plugs. They went on to tell me that the vehicle needed a new transfer case, all new breaks, both front sway bars and new front rotors. The head mechanic that I spoke with could not believe that we had just purchased this vehicle from a reputable dealer such as Napelton Honda and they let us drive it off the lot, let alone test drive it. The vehicle only has 50 plus thousand miles on it and cost us around $22,000 out the door. With all the work and nessasary parts the car needs to be safe to even drive it is going to cost another five to six thousand dollars. At first we thought no big deal we purchased the extended warranty which was around three thousand dollars. Unfortunately the extended warranty is null and void because there is no way that we could have caused all these problems in the short time that we have owed the vehicle. All of these issues are prior damages and not covered under the warranty. So now we are stuck with a $22,000 car that we can't even drive or afford to have fixed and its sitting at a Nissan dealership. Napelton Honda says that they do a 200 plus inspection on all of their preowned vehicles that they sell and that they must pass in order for them to be Napelton sales worthy. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to this dealership. One good note, Sundae has kept in contact with us and is still working to try and resolve these issues with no cost to us, even though she no longer works for the dealership. I guess they don't want honest, hardworking reputable people working for them as they have no soul or business ethics what so ever.

My thing people don't realize dealers make money you can't have a trade in then say I want this much then complain if they low ball you well sell it on your own dealers have to invest some money cleaning or placing online or selling to a auction. My wife was ready to trade in her 2010 Accord and JP made the experience enjoyable. He was very helpful and patient with her. They have a sign outside that says, 0%down & credit program that will work with bad credit. Well i went in to ask, told them i had bad credit & will they work with it. They said yes & took all my info. I gave them my price range & told them i wanted a honda. Well the lady gets us a 2013 dodge caravan. We said we didnt want a dodge that we wanted a honda. She said if were willing to put down more then 1000 we can. I thought it said 0% down? She didnt even let us look at other cars. She kept insisting on the dodge & said its all we can get because of the bad credit. She went on to say she gets payed triple the amount of what we make & that her credit score is 700+. All unnecessary she could have just said we have bad credit & that theres no credit program & we would have left. Her names Donnetta & shes very rude.

Will NEVER give Napleton River Oaks Honda my business and will not recommend them to anyone. Spoke to Kenyatta at 7:30 pm Tuesday and went directly to dealer after work on Wednesday to look at the used Honda Civics that they supposedly had in stock and NEVER even looked at a vehicle they had on the lot (new or used)! As soon as I walked into the dealership I was immediately taken to a desk to be "put into the system" and then told they did not have any Honda Civics in the lot. Asked numerous times to be pointed in the direction of the used cars and was given every excuse in the book and a big run around by salesman and the used car manager. They kept trying to sell me a new car or a different model than I wanted. I finally had to ask for my sons license back and I left the dealership........NEVER looked at one car in the lot. I was VERY disappointed with the whole experience.

Wow, I thought I was prepared for the car buying experience. Took a truce quote in to the dealer. Of course they quoted me 2K above that before I showed them the Truecar print out. Traded a car in and wanted some back. Complete low ball offer, which I expected. Negotiated for over an hour. They some how got me off of the price of the trade in to how much I would walk away with. I am kicking myself for not walking away because I was pressed for time. Got hung up on amount of check and didn't realize that the final amount back to me was about $1000 short of the truecar quote and amount for trade in. I'll never live this one down. Sales guy Austin and Used Sales mgr Tony got me this time. Again, I take responsibility, because I didn't step away and think about things. Typical car buying experience. I just want people to be aware of their tactics.

Came in because of bad experience from another Honda dealer. Prior to going, I called and spoke with Malinda inquiring on a very specific model and color stating I would except nothing less. Malinda assured me she had exactly what I was asking for, so I immediately came in. In tow I also had in writing a previous quote from the other dealer. Salesperson JP immediately assisted me, very friendly and accommendating. He pulled the car so I could see it prior to any discussion on price. My quote was immediately honored, no haggling, deal completed. Afterwards, by other car persons, I was given a review of all the electronics and operations of the vehicle. Not that I remembered it, but I was exceptionally pleased. This dealership has a Hugh gong in the middle of the floor which is hit by the customer upon a car sale. For the couple of hours I was there, that bong went off approx 6 times, not including myself. That means there were a lot of happy and satisfied customers in such a short time, including me.

After initially speaking with Larry and then being turned over to Jared Drew (who never even introduced himself), I was told the car I wanted was available at another dealer.Four days of Jared telling numerous stories about the car's availability including being short-staffed with porters to pick up the car led me to his "manager" Ms. Thomas. She informed me that Saturday is their busiest day and they had no time to work with me or do the paperwork to get the car. That same day I went to the other dealer where the car supposedly was in the holding area & found the car didn't exist. I bought a car at the other dealer and would never buy from River Oaks Honda. As a 15 year service customer, I don't trust the sales people at all.

I went to this dealership because they had a car I was interested in the salesman was persistant to stop by and see it. I drove 300 miles to check it all out and stood around for an hour without one salesman talking to me I realize I was the only white person that was in the dealership but I thought my money was as good as anyone's well much to my shagrin I was never approached or asked If I could be helped!!!!!! I returned home 300 more miles to find the salesman had asked me to stop by that DAY-by email. Well I explained to her that I was their at an hour around noon and that no one would even ask me if I needed help to which she never answered me and never did for over a week!!?? I spoke with the representative for internet sales several times on the Saturday before I went to test drive and purchase the vehicle I found online. I was assured that the vehicle was available and still would be when I arrived on Monday. I received another phone call from the representative the morning that I was scheduled to come in, just to confirm that I was indeed going to show up. I called the dealership again that afternoon letting them know that I was on my way and would be purchasing the vehicle. When I arrived, the vehicle was not only gone, but the sales representatives that were there told me that they did not know where the car was or why it was gone. They asked me to wait for a few moments until they could find out what was going on. After about seven minutes, I was told that one of the salesmen had taken the car out with a customer. I informed them that I had intentions of purchasing the vehicle and that if it was unavailable that I would look elsewhere. The salesperson immediately began to detain me saying that "well, it doesn't mean that they're going to buy it." Another three minutes and another salesperson comes over and says that the salesperson took the vehicle out to run errands. They again asked me to wait five minutes until they could figure out what was going on. I waited 15 minutes before I was told that the vehicle was still out and that they didn't know where it was or why the salesperson had taken it out. I decided to leave irritated that I had wasted my time and gas. 30 minutes after leaving, I received a phone call from the dealership informing me that the vehicle had been returned and that I could come and look at it. What nerve these people have! I would not ever recommend this dealership or visit them again.

The exceptional service I received at Napleton's River Oaks Honda by my salesman Rhyan Hatter warrants a few minutes of my time to author a review. I had been searching for some time for the right vehicle for my sixteen-year old son. As a single parent, I was looking for the right price on a reliable, quality automobile, coupled with a business transaction I could have confidence in. After months of on-line searching and a few unsuccessful visits to dealerships, I finally found exactly what I had been searching for, but it was at a dealership 88 miles away! I called and was connected with Tina, an on-line sales representative who was so friendly and helpful, she immediately set me at ease for the experience ahead. I was then put in touch with my salesman, Rhyan. I had many questions, pressed for a lot of details, and he handled every question I threw his way, went out of his way to provide not only all of the additional information I sought, but sent extra photos and pursued every option to win my business, which he ultimately did. Being that the dealership was a two hour drive away from my home, and I was not comfortable with having my newly-licensed driver son make such a trip, Rhyan generously agreed to drive the car to my home for me, on his day off, no less! I purchased a Nissan 370Z from Napleton River Oaks Honda from out of town. Naturally buying a car over the internet and phone I was a bit apprehensive. Rhyan Hatter and Tony Preston are excellent customer service reps who took care of answering all my questions; no high pressure sales tactics and no surprises. Upon my arrival in Chicago, Rhyan personally picked me up, we stopped to have a quick breakfast then it we were off to the dealership to take delivery of the vehicle. I couldn't be more pleased with the smooth purchasing process, excellent price, easy low interest financing and most of all, the car. It was as described, absolutely flawless. I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 hour drive back!

River Oaks Honda was the best dealership to work with. We had previously been to 5 dealerships looking for a new car. Other dealers were rude, unhelpful, unknowledgeable, and unwilling to go out of their way to find us what we were looking for. That was the complete opposite at River Oaks Honda. Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The buying process was quick and easy. The facility is nice and big with a comfy waiting area with couches, television, coffee, and vending machines. The car was given to us super clean and with a tank of gas. They even offered to have someone drive our old car home so we didn't have to come back later for the new car!! Awesome and friendly all around - from the salesmen to the finance person. The best part was the great price we got on the car we wanted. We did our research and shopped around. Thanks River Oaks Honda! We love our new car!!

Friday, Oct 11 we walked in at about 11:30 am. It took over 6 hours to complete the sale of the car, which is totally unacceptable. We did not get a second remote for the 2014 Honda Accord and were told that it would be ordered. Why didn't someone check to see if there was a key that could have been programmed while we were signing the finance paperwork? After 3 days without a phone call on the status of the order of the second remote, my husband contacted Suzette, who assured us we would be taken care of. On Thursday, Oct 17, we arrived at the dealership and asked for Suzette. Jermaine Shackelford told me he would page her. He walked right in the sales office, sat down and never paged her. As Mike Smith walked by, I asked him if Suzette was in, He looked at his watch and said "It's after five. She's gone". I informed him that someone was supposed to be paging her, He went into the office, picked up the phone for the intercom and simply said "Suzette". By this time I'm fuming! I walk over to the parts window and no one is there to assist me. We went to the service department and were informed by Janice that no key had been ordered after we were assured by Suzette that "we would be taken care of". Dante Bryant was able to produce a key and get the service guy to program it. At this point, we still haven't had a proper demo of the car. Nina Perrin was supposed to give us a demo, but I guess because it was approaching 7:00, when she was scheduled to leave, she passed us off to Jeff Parham. Mr. Parham seemed as if we were bothering him. When I couldn't get the Pandora app to play out of the speaker, we realized that I didn't have the volume on the smart phone turned up. The look of disgust he gave me was simply uncalled for. After that he fumbled through showing me the menu and setting up my phone book, we ended up having to tell him that we would just figure it out ourselves. He seemed very unfamiliar with the car. He could show us the basics, but that was about it. So, I ended up pairing my own phone because the original salesperson, Jason Lutz, couldn't figure it out. This is not how I expect to be treated when spending over $30,000 on a car. Once we gave over our money, all customer service went out the window. The only person that treated us with the best experience was Zak Abdelmassih (who was awesome) and a new service lady named Angie. I will never buy another car from the Napelton group and I will not recommend anyone I know do so either.

I brought 2014 Honda Accord for this dealership.River Oaks Honda got the fantastic Finance manager ZAK A , This guy is one stop solution for all the stuff starting from car purchase to finance and warranties related queries.Zak made my whole deal so smooth that I never realized.The only thing you should take care is the price as prices are HIGH as compare to other dealers.Warranty Coverage Review Nov 13-2013 After a month of CAR purchase..I saw that the WINDSHIELD GLASS is damaged from inside "Probably Due to heating and cooling stuff",I spoke with honda care and got information that it is covered under HONDACARE, Dealership so called marketing team has asked me to come to their repair facility "Which is around 50 Miles away from my location". So After taking Half day off from my work I went their with the hope that the staff will help me to resolve the issue but i have put my self in front of extreme Rude and Unprofessional people, For them if you are looking for the resolution under warranty or business ethics you are a idiot who trust them and dealership.I went through the series of irrelevant and rude discussion from the service staff,They clearly refused to look into the problem and told me put the money to fix. Finance specialist told me that i have only 2 options 1) bear the problem or 2) pay them again for the stuff which is covered under warranty as they will not entertain the warranty stuff (Or probably they will make extra $$$ with this) .Before I purchased the CAR whole staff was talking in different tone and after all things changed like Nightmare.Moral is once you pay them the money there is nothing you can expect from the so called DEALERSHIP Friendly Staff and CUSTOMER Support Representative.They want you to pay for the rude and unprofessional behavior of the STAFF. They listed a car I was looking for. The day I decided to go to see the car I called the dealership to confirm that car is available. Sales customer service confirmed that the car is there and they told me that car will be ready for a test drive and that they already assign the sales rep that I should look for. I was only half hour away when I hang up. When I got to the dealership and ask for a guy he was not there at all, which is ok there are other sales people but when I inquire about the car the car they told me to wait 15 minutes cause they are servicing the car but meanwhile they asked if I have interest in any other cars. I looked at the inventory pick 2 other cars just to kill the time and once I was done with the test drive and we went back to find out if the car is ready they had the main manager meet me with apologies that they don't have a car. Not that they just sold but to tell me that the car is broken and not available. What a waste of time!

Hopefully your experience at this facility will be much better than mine. First visit was pleasant, salesman Michael was knowledgeable and not at all pushy. Second visit, after seeing two cars on line that I didn't see prior was not so fun. Again I dealt with Michael, keeping in touch by phone to let him know when I was coming and what I was interested in. Test drove and let them know I was down to two choices and would they please write up their best price for each. Lets just say we weren't in the same ball park, and of course I was told this was just a starting faze. Good grief does this not get old? I wrote down my number and of course the deal came back half way between. I said no, this is what my number is, if you can not make it happen than I can't afford the car and sorry but I need to leave and look elsewhere. Then the Used sale Mgr "Tony" came out from behind his glass doors and marched up to me saying, "why are you beating up my salesman" "you're trying to Steal this car!" Seriously? I had merely crossed out there number and written in mine and handed it back across the desk. Where my salesman got up and took it across the room to this guys desk. HE was the only one raising his voice and acting nuts. My friends were surprised I didn't just walk out the door right then....but the car did have the leather seats I wanted and in a hard to find color. So I calmly stood up and said, "Tony this is what I can pay for this car, my financing is already set up and this is my budget" "You're going to walk out for $400!" was his comment. Good grief, you're going to yell at me and lose a sale for $400, is what I wanted to say, but I said nothing. Finally he sticks out his hand and says, "You won" "that's what you wanted, to walk in here and win, well you did!" Again, seriously?? I came to buy a car that I liked and could afford. Isn't that what we are all doing? The only one trying to "Win" at this car sales game was this sales manager. "I'm only making this deal for Michaels sake" he said. Wow, again my friends could not believe I was still standing in this place. Oh well, this is finalized now....but no, just as I was entering the finance office to sign papers out he storms again. "What is this!" "You cant add this repair stuff after the deal!" Excuse me, but I pointed out the broken tail light and scraped bumper before I even drove the car. And my salesman had me write it down in the quote to be fixed prior to sale. Did he not read the paperwork I filled out an hour before? This is when my friend stepped in and said I was told this would be taken care of first thing. He then turned to his salesman and said "You have no authority here! Your word means nothing! Remember that!" Whoa...again how rude. To speak to your staff that way, it was awful. Needless to say I decided to fix the bumper myself and refuse the car without a new tail light.....this is a certified Honda by the way....this stuff was on the "checklist" Luckily for them, Dante the finance guy was great. Very professional and pleasant and told me I would only deal with him when I came back to pick up my car. Okay, I'm ramblin' now, but I now know why my brother handled his whole new truck purchase on line. Again, good grief!

I can't say enough how wonderful this dealership is. Mr. Parham took all the time I needed to make sure I looked at all the vehicles I was interested in, and that the cost was acceptable for me. Mr. Parham was eager to help me and actually met me at the door when I arrived (I had previously made an appointment.) Larry was very helpful in going over all the details of my new vehicle and getting my bluetooth in sinc with my vehicle. He made sure that my ipass and city sticker were on my new car. During our visit we were negotiating price when the salesman told us he had worked out a deal and to come in. When we got there he actually had not worked out a deal and had us come all the way in to give us the same price. Then when we finally got to a price and I sat with the person handling the financing they had several bill of ladings so he had the wrong down payment and monthly payment. I stepped out so he could correct the issue with manager. When I left with the car on Thursday the financing company called me on Wednesday and said they needed acheck stub which was never requested at the dealership. I told Sheena (Allied)I would fax it to her so she gave me her fax number. Then I received literally 12 calls from several different people from the dealership saying they needed me to bring the check stub. When they called at 9AM I said I would be in later because I was sleep. They called me about 2 more times from 9-4 then 8 times from 4-5. I was ill and got out of the bed to take it in when Sheena said I could fax it myself. Then I requested to speak to a manager at about 6:45pm and at 7:05 I left because I got tired of waiting. In addition I was threatened from one of your employees that if I didnt bring in the checkstub immediately I needed to bring in the car. I dont appreciate being threatened and will never refer THIS dealership to anyone because I shouldnt have to be threatened due to something they neglected to collect!

on sat. 2/23 Janis, customer service rep., took very good care of me. She gave me a courtsey car so i could go to work. I had a flat tire on fri, nite. Me coming to Honda on Sat. was not in the plan. Janis allowed me to go to work then come back later. But what really made my Sat. was the personal care i received from Larry Chambers and Nick Mobley. They made my experience of the trade-in go smooth. This is my fourth car i have purchased from Honda and everytime i deal with Larry i walk away smiling. He's a blessing to me. We were very interested in a new 2012 Honda Civic LX. We negotiated a specific out-the-door price and financing rate with their online representative, Tina,via email. She assured us this price had been approved by her management and the car was ready to be picked up. I took the day off of work and we made the 1.5 hour drive to the dealership. We arrived at the dealership ready to complete the purchase at the previously agreed upon price and financing terms. However, none of the management would honor the agreed upon terms, even though we had the email thread to show them the price and financing rate had been agreed to. They insisted on adding on a $1,589 "Pro Pack" that we did not request, nor agree to. They said that every one of their cars had to have this "Pro Pack" added on. They had NEVER mentioned anthing about this additional fee during our negotiations. When we called them on this they said that the internet sales rep, Tina, did not have any negotiating power and should have mentioned the "Pro-Pack." So why then did Tina say the deal was negotiated and agreed to and that the car was ready fo pick-up? The Manager and General Manager were disrespectful and unprofessional. Finally, the GM said he would lower the price oft this "Pro-Pack" to $500 as that was their price for this add on. We left without purchasing the car. They did not honor our previous negotiations. BEWARE, by their own word they admitted that they make over $1,000 on this "Pro-Pack" on every car they sell. This so called "Pro-Pack" includes such things as mud flaps, all- weather mats, trunk mat, door guards, etc. Regardless of whether you want those options or not they add that $1,589 to the price of the car. They were SHAMELESS. I will never consider doing business with them again. I will be contacting Honda Corporate so they are aware of this dealer's unprofessional conduct. I will also be making a complaint to the city's Better Business Bureau. Finally, I will let as many people as possible know of this situation and to stay away from this dealership.

I came in to look at a certifed Honda and found the car to be very clean and in good shape. I went to a couple other Honda dealers and the cars they had deemed as cerifed were in my oppion not up to the standards that Honda had posted on thier website but this one I saw was up to standards. The staff was helpful and the manager Tony who I worked with was helpful to make the deal happen as the first offer on my trade was a little low but after Tony and I talked we agreed on a fair vaule closer to what I was expecting. Over all I it was a good expeience and I would return for service and refer a friend or anyone reading this to give them a look. S

BUYER BEWARE! The bank that financed told me they were on the Watch List. They sold the vehicle to another party, while under contract and after taking my deposit. I called the GM Will Mulcahey &he asked me "what are you going to call your attorney?" I turned them in to the IL consumer fraud div.

I found a used 2010 accord listed on cars.com for 12991. The car was at River Oaks Honda and was a certified car. I called the store to see of they had the car and how the condition was they got my info called me back to let me know they had the car and the sales man Jeremy email me a full video of the car. I have called other stores to inquire about cars and this one was the first to send me a actual real time video and they pointed out some nicks and scratches that the car had nothing major but it was nice to know before I drove in. I drove to the store test drove the car and purchased the vehicle. I was not 100% happy I did not get a discount on the price but after they showed me the comparatives in the market I understood they were the best priced by far. Over all good experience and good car. I have recommended this dealer to friends and family. John

I made an appointment and was on time. I had to go looking for my salesperson. It took 15 minutes to find her. She didnt even know who I was. I had been talking for a week to her about coming up. She handed me over to someone else and they couldnt find the keys for over an hour. Another salesman had taken them home. They wouldnt even make a valet key so I could look at the car. Waited.. and waited.. Email sent to me next day: "Our used sales car mananger tried calling you today and wanted to know are you still interested in purchasing the vehicle? If so what can we do to earn your business?"My offer was $11,577 the previous night. I walked. Car was listed $11,777. I was surprised at how bold they were even to contact me again. I guess when your service is that poor, you have to be desperate. My email response:"You can accept an offer of $11,250 plus tax, title and plates (NO OTHER ADDED COSTS!!). The lower offer is because of the time you have wasted and my gas money for 2 round trips.I was VERY disappointed in the way I was treated last night. You wasted my time and your dealership's time. If I come back up there, I expect you to be ready for me. You know, it is an hour trip one way for me to come up there. I don't think it's unreasonable for you to be waiting for me with everything you need to sell a vehicle. Waiting an hour for keys for the car was completely unacceptable, so you can understand that I will only deal with you in the future due to low price. I can get treated poorly by any dealership. There are lots of cars out there and I don't need this car." Dealership:"I really do apologize for all of your troubles like i stated all of our prices are negotiable and we price our vehicles very aggressively to sell and to move we do want to earn your business but we cannot knock off almost $1500.00 off the vehicle."Me:"See that's where I have issues. That is not $1500 off. It is $527 off. Your advertised price was $11,777. After my experience, I'm surprised I didn't get a better offer.I'm appalled that you tried to tack on some kind of "dealer prep" fee and didn't let me know about it before I drove up there. Thanks for teaching me something about buying cars. I didn't ask enough questions. I trusted you.This is the second shot at selling me a vehicle that Napleton has blown. I asked both of your Chicago area Honda dealerships twice (2 different people from each dealership) for an email quote last year for a 2012 Odyssey Touring Elite. I bought that car from Bill Walsh because of the 10 dealerships I asked for a quote, only the 2 Napleton Dealerships failed to even respond to my request. At that point, all of their email addresses and Napleton.com went into my junk folder. Geez, they cant even be honest about the price! She also turned me off with her unprofessional emails. Misspellings, bad punctuation, grammar and the like don't seem like the purview of someone who makes their money communicating with customers.

I wish I had read the dealer reviews before embarking on my buying experience with this dealer. I would have saved myself an hour's drive and a really bad blood pressure raising experience. I responded to an internet ad for a used Accord. I called prior to going to the dealer to ensure the car was available. Some woman named Rhoda assured me it was available. When I arrived an hour later I was told the car was sold. The sales person Demetrius tried to get me to buy another car which was similar but it had a different engine and less features. What a joke! What do you know - the next day the car reappears on the internet at the same dealer at a $2000 higher price. What gives. Honda Corporate should investigate this dealership

received internet quotes that were compariable to other honda dealers. called and asked for out the door price on two separate days was quoted the same amount each time and assured it included taxes, plates and all fees. went to the dealer sales manager offer was $2500 over quote. no explanation, apology, asked if I wanted to purchase a cheaper car. stay away, will lie to get you in the door.

I drove 180 miles to check a used 2009 Honda Accord. I spoke to one of the sales person just 1 hour before i started, but after going there i came to know that the vehicle i was looking for was sold. How come a sales person is not aware of what cars were sold????I spoke to a manager and he told me that one of their staff purchased the vehicle and it was still in the slot, that's why the sales person assumed that it is available. WOW!!! what a great story. Anyway after some time ...they showed me a different vehicle, $2000 more than what i inquired about (as expected) and as favor the offered me great deal...$500 less... What a cheap selling techniques.

I began talking to Michelle around 5/30/12 and she was very helpful. I also had sometime to talk to Stanley and I let him know I had found an advertisement on cargurus.com for a Orange 2011 Dodge Charger for $ 19,500. He said the price was listed on your site at $20,995 and he didn't know how the other site got it's number but that they would honor it because it was advertised at that price. Friday night I began talking to Jeremy Veasy and he took a deposit to hold the car until I was able to come up there on Monday morning as I would have to fly in from Wichita.I purchased my plane ticket and was picked up by a porter named Gary at the Chicago Midway airport right after I landed. The 35 minute drive from the airport to the dealership was the best experience I had with the dealership. I arrived at the dealership and was greeted by Jeremy and shown the car. As I walked around the car I noticed that the hood looked like it was not centered which was of particular concern as I knew the car had been wrecked. I was very displeased looking over the vehicle and seeing dozens of paint chips and several dents on a 2011 vehicle. I realize that it is a used car but would have thought that as such a large dealership the proper touch ups would have been done to take care of the paint chips. I also found out that the car didn't have the leather seats and a sunroof which it was mentioned in the advertisement on their site. Also when I was talking with Jeremy and the sales manager I believe his name was Tony both told me by looking at the pictures they could tell it wasn't leather to which I simply replied I'm color blind and it looked like it could have been a light colored leather to me.Then came the test drive. The car seemed to ride pretty smooth and I had very little problem adjusting the car to my needs. Jeremy and I got on the highway and started on what I intended to be a long test drive as I was taking this decision very seriously. It ended up being pretty short because once I tried the AC which didn't work I had pretty much had it. Jeremy assured me that it would be fixed by the service techs and that it probably just needed freon. I granted that but let him know that it concerned me that a 2011 vehicle already needed freon.We arrived back to River Oaks Honda and I sat down in an office while Jeremy asked me what I thought. I told him I wasn't sure but I'd take a look at the numbers he could give me and then found out that the asking price was still $ 21,000 and not the $ 19,500 that I was told would be honored. On top of the price I found there would also be a $ 710 destination charge added to a used car. I was not pleased but continued thinking maybe at some point soon a deal could be struck and the necessary fixes could be made. Jeremy ran some numbers for me and came back and told me that my $20,000 car would cost me about $ 400 a month which was way higher than I anticipated for the 6 year note we were discussing. He explained that for every $ 10,000 financed it will be a $ 200 dollar payment monthly. I had told Jeremy when I got there that I was a tax accountant and that I know numbers. I also had a pocket calculator that helped me determine loan amounts but I had already gone through and figured out how much an additional $ 1,000 or an additional % of interest would cost me per month. His numbers were WAY off. With the proposed interest rate they were offering me of 4.54 % over 72 months my payments at most should have been around $ 340 and he is telling me it would be around $ 400. At this point is when the sales manager became involved, asking me how he could get my business. I flat out told him the numbers were wrong and I knew they were wrong. I also told him about the listing and that I had been told the advertisement would be honored and of the problems I had seen with the description and what the car actually had. Both Tony and Jeremy came in and out of the office at least 4 times over the next 45 minutes with different numbers each time trying to reach a deal. Throughout this whole conversation with Jeremy he kept telling me he wanted to help me but that I had to help him because I wasn't budging off my offer and the numbers I was looking for. Last time I checked I am the customer and he is there to get the sale not ask me to do something I am unwilling to do.After being at the dealership for over 2 hours and probably closer to 3 and after telling them for the previous 30 minutes I just wanted my deposit back they finally offered the original $ 19,500 without the destination charge. I was then told that I would have to pay them the sales tax even though I was a Kansas resident (I found out later they were wrong on that to). Jeremy came in with one last effort asking me what I wanted and I said I just want my deposit back and that I don't want the car. Tony was brought in a couple minutes later and asked me the same thing and I told him I just want my money back and to leave. He said I don't understand I've got you your numbers and you just don't want the car now, and I told him that is correct. I told him I'd been there over 3 hours waiting patiently trying to come to an agreement and had test driven a car that didn't even fully function. They had known since Friday I would be there and the A/C still didn't work.10 minutes or so later I had my deposit back and after hearing something from Jeremy about he can't help me if I wasn't willing to work with him I left the dealership having to walk across the street and get a cab because I had no way to get anywhere.This was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I bought a plane ticket to come and buy the car and felt like I was treated just like another person and not a customer whose business should be valued. If this is the way that Napleton dealerships operate I don't have a clue how the dealership has been successful. I am out the flight there, a hotel stay, and the transportation back for a waste of a trip. Also I have to mention that even though the car was falsely advertised no discount was offered for the items that were not there; I was just told well you should have asked and we would have told you or you can see in the pictures it isn't leather or have a sunroof. Oh and I was told they aren't the ones that write the internet ads for your cars which to me is another slap in the face as they showed 0 accountability.

I worked with Bob Wolf New car Sales Manager via The Internet. Not only did he respond the fastest but he had by far the best product knowledge and phone deameanor of anyone we spoke with. It was neat he responeded from home on his day off from his smart phone. The price was fair, we actually paid a little more for his selection and service. Bob Wolf had the paperwork ready when we gt there. I would reccomend Bob Wolf for anyone looking for a head turnining experience.

We drove three hours to look at a vehicle & had been communicating with a saleman by the name of Earnest Norman. He had spoken with us the night before & knew that we were coming in the next day. The vehicle we were looking at was on a lift in the service dept. We were told that a few days prior, the wheels/rims/tires were stolen off the vehicle. We were told that the new rims & tires would not be in for another 3-4 days. The saleman NEVER once told us any of this info nor that we couldn't test drive it. On top of that they did not have an appraiser to come look at our vehicle that we were trading in. Needless to say we were very upset!! No apologies or compensation was offered. We drove home with great disappointment when we received a call for Earnest stating that the rims/wheels came in and if we wanted to drive back the next day they'd give us a free oil change. Really??? We live three hours away, a tank of gas cost us $75. Why wouldn't you compensate us for the inconvienced & while your at it train your salesmen to be honest, responsible in telling prospective buyers the truth.

Drove almost 40miles to check a car, but the worst experience ever. There was no negotiation and made us wait for over an hour while they were dealing with other customers. New Sales Manager Robert Wolf treated me and my friends with no respect, treated as if we are begging them for a car. Price online was good, but added ridiculous additional charges and fees. I wouldn't suggest this dealer to anyone and hope that they change the way of doing business.

Went there to get a used vehicle with great price, was pushed to come right away as soon as i called to just check on it.they added 3500 right away on advertised price over phone for no apparent reason. aftre a lot of haggling I was told to come right away if i wanted that agred upon price (at night 5 pm from Indiana - 3 hrs drive). I waited till morning to go there again only for the price we agreed upon.upon reaching there after 3 hrs drive, took vehicle for test ride and heard some sounds upon applying breaks - salesman agreed.came back - service guy says he hears no sound!- mind you its a honda certified vehicle.its almost mid day now and we want to show the vehicle to a third party mechanic for our satisfaction. haggling again - finally took the vehicle for inspection.got some suggestions to replace few things immediately - around$1000 worth. including almost bald tires! went back to dealership told them i want price decrease or vehicle up to code...haggling again even with the manager. finally agreed to stick to the previous price and change tires from another used vehicle...seemed ok. its 5 o clock in the evening - no deal yet. finally everything ok - we still think we are over paying- start signing paperwork- salesman is moving in n out to his manager- salesman comes back - "sorry the deal is off- owner doesnt want to sell at that price". Are you kidding me??? Mind you this is the same price which he confirmed to me over phone for me to drive to their location. and now i have onw wasted work day , a third party inspection bill and a lot of worse customer experience at any dealership!! Dont waste your time, the price is cheap online,they add stupid over costs and then bring it down to what they really want.and even then you are not sure if you will get your vehicle. pls-note this is just a brief summary of what all happened in the 8 hours i spent there for no car at all! they do certify vehicles but by maintaining bare minimum standards. pls have your vehicle checked by another mechanic. better yet - find a dealer who cares about quality.

I went there to purchase a new or used car. They go me approved for a used 2010 Sebring. I have now had the car for a week and a half and I get a call saying that the bank did not approve the loan and that I need to bring the car back. The owner of the dealership told me I needed to come in today or he was going to start to charge me $500a day for the car or put it out for REPO. The people that work at this dealership are nasty and rude especially the crossed General Manager they treated me like crap and I will never go back here or recommend anyone to ever go here.

You'd better stay away from them, waited like 20 minutes before anyone noticed us and it seems that you're begging them in order to pay them. When it comes to price negotiation I relized that they're fond of the so-called "low-ball technique", they wanted to charge "destination fee" for a used Accord and explained that it was actually a fee to detail the car. Why not also include their rent and interest payable to the bank in there as well? Maybe let customer pay for their operation costs as well and just pocket the HUGE price difference between trade-in and selling price? Or better yet, just put it as $20000 on cars.com and charge $40000 OTD? Stay away and don't waste your time on them.

After going back & forth on price negotiations, I decided to buy the car, even though they hardly moved on the price (including over $800 in dealer fees). Meantime they tell me there's some new scratches on a fender and a deep gouge on a wheel. They say they'll fix those though. So I ask for a Sales Agreement FIRST before I send THEIR requested $1000 deposit. So I get the Sales Agreement and they note on it "Deposit Holds Price Not Car". So until I could travel from out of state in 5 days THEY Reserve the right to sell the car on me. WHO Does Business Like That ?? Needless to say I tore up that Sales Agreement.

Overall I had a great experience at River Oaks Honda. I was very nervous about my situation and how I had such a small window to work with in buying a used car, however, after many conversations and thought out scenarios we (as a team) figured out what was best for me. In the end, I left a hundred times happier than I thought I would, and, the customer service was amazing. I felt comfortable and well taken care of. This experience rated above and beyond any previous car dealership exerperiences. I love my "new" car and could not be happier about my decision. YEAH!!

I went into the River Oaks Honda dealership looking for a basic used car that's cheap but reliable because I'm going away to college in the fall. With all of my tuition expenses, my funds are very low so I needed something of good quality but cheap! Thank goodness my salesperson, Jannah Muse, was young and could relate to my financial situation and just happen to be around the same age as me. Therefore, she was able to find me something that I look cool in and that I could afford. I was very pleased with my salesperson and the whole staff overall. I would definately purchase another vehicle from River Oaks Honda.

I was in desperate need of a car and as I walked into the dealership I was given such a warm and friendly welcome By Latoya. I explained my situation and she assured me that she would do whatever she could to get me the vehicle and financing I needed. She is very professional, well spoken and took a personal interest in me, unlike other dealerships who are just looking to make a sale. I was very satisfied with her service and her product knowledge and I will be referring all my friends and family to her in the future for their car buying needs. Good on price horrible on car pickup. The finance guy is horrible. I signed the same forms twice. Once with the sales guy and once with the finance guy. Also paid cash for this truck and the salesman had me write the check off the invoice. When the finance guy saw the check he said 'you will need to write a new check as you owe 8 cents more' I paid $39,000 for this truck including accessories, fees, and taxes and this guy is going to ask me for 8 more cents. You have got to be kidding. Then he said we will need to run a credit check on you before we can accept your check. I had asked the salesman several times if he wanted to verify funds with my bank or if he needed a cashiers check and he said 'no your check will be fine'. I told the finance guy I refused to let him run a credit check on me. I didn't want credit I was paying cash. I was 2 seconds away from walking out the door and telling them to keep the truck. They finally decided my check would be OK. This was the most horrible buying experience I have every had. I will tell this story to everyone I know. They have got to be kidding me. Honda will not like the ratings I give when they call. UPDATE - I spent 1800 on an installed hard tonneau cover and while they installed it they got the entire bed dirty. I was assured by the Salesman Gary Grant that it would be washed and clean before I left the dealership. In my desire to get away from this dealership as fast as I could I did not open the back to make sure they washed it out. This morning I open the back to find all the dirty foot prints exactly where they were. They sold me a top of the line truck and did not have it clean when I pulled it out of the lot. My fault for not checking. I wonder if Honda knows what a bad dealership this is? They will just as soon as they call me for my ratings I can assure you.

I flew in from out of town after speaking with Jeremy for almost 2weeks. I should have known by his pushy nature that he wasnt knowledgeable about the car I was purchasing (Mercedes S600). I flew in and he didnt even come into the airport to get me?! How was I supposed to know where I was going? We get into his car and he has a BREATHALIZER MONITOR, attached in his car that he is actively blowing in to keep the car on. POOR FIRST IMPRESSION!!! The car was BEAUTIFUL but the keys didnt work. The key wasnt coded for the damn car? Couldnt lock it or pop the trunk. What they didnt know is that I already made an appt with a local Benz dealer to give the car a good once over before I signed anything. The car has 3 MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. A BAD BELT, A BENT RIM, AND A BAD TIRE! So the manager( I assume Tony Preston) tried to explain to me that all of these items are considered WEAR AND TEAR Items!! So I asked the rep from the Benz dealer if this car is safe to drive home and his exact words were "Ooh hell no!" So we get back to the dealer and the master tech named Jerry explained to me that he changed and checked all the belts on the engine, what he didnt know is that I baited him and told him it is more than one belt on the car. So the deal went south and then they wouldnt even take me to a hotel!! Thank God one was behind the dealer!! The next day they call me on speaker trying to apologize and make a deal. I kindly let them know that they are not getting one dime from me until those repairs are done by someone NOT THEM!!! THEY ARE ALL LIARS AND CHEATS! BUYER BEWARE PLEASE!!!!! THEY ARE SNEAKY AND WILL TELL U WHATEVER YOU WANNA HEAR TO GET YOUR $$. A total waste of $ and my time!!! I wanna fly back to Lansing just to spit on them!!!!

I was introduced to too many finance guys who were trying to get me to just purchase anything. Everytime I rejected their offer someone new would come out and introduce themselves to me then try to persuade me in one way or another. One bald gentleman got upset because I was consulting with a friend by phone. He had the nerve to say something about me being on my phone consulting. I did not give in until I got what I came for.

This dealership is full of con artists. I spent almost 2 days in this dealership. I felt that my time was not valued. I was trying to buy a used car at first but after bringing a friend along the next day he showed me that the vehicle had been in an accident. Even though the carfax was clean on the vehicle. I was lied to several times, and dealt with in a unprofessional manner. Please stay away and spend your money elsewhere.

Maybe it was just me, but if you are going to buy a used car here, be prepared to pay $2000-3000 in addition to the listed price. They will make it seem like the negotiated price is final, and will add some bogus prices to jack it up. They claimed they are selling the car at a loss, but at the same time they also admitted they are jacking up the price because they know they will get a profit that way. This is probably the same with other dealerships, but be prepared to be pissed off after visiting this one. If you do decide to go, ask them before you visit them to quote you a price that includes tax, documentation fee, destination fee(this one is a killer), and all other bogus fees dealerships like to add.

Went to buy a used trailblazer that i seen from the internet. Had a price of 2991.00.When i went to dealer, they couldn't find the key's. said another sales men had them.Would be back soon from road trip. Said in the mean time they would print out carfaxreport. Waited an hour, still no keys or carfax report. Than sales manager came overand said Trailblazer was missed price on internet. He can't sell it to me for that price, but could sell it to me for 8,995. or another car for less money.This add wason the internet for 1 week. They never tried to to change the price!
