Wow, where to start. I made an appointment to go look at a car and in the ad it said things like "someone had really taken care of this car" and it was "immaculate" and well taken care of. That could not have been farther from the truth. I popped the trunk open and the previous owner had been hauling hay in the trunk. The salesman just looked at me and said well it hadn't been detailed yet. I guess that was actually lucky because I got to see how the previous owner cared for the car. The salesman wouldn't give me the time of day and just handed me a sheet on the car which was ridiculous the charges on the dealer sheet. $700 "document fee" on an $8000 car plus a "lien fee" plus title and registration fees- over $1300 over the asking price. Ridiculous. The salesman kept telling me how he really didn't have time because he was with three different people at the same time (I don't know where they were). I wish that car dealers were held to some kind of standard about truth and advertising because I wasted my whole evening driving 45 minutes each way to look at this car. If you're looking, keep looking elsewhere.

Eric was awesome. Great knowledge of Acura products and very polite. However, the dealer has a policy to charge an assessment fee @ $100 per inquiry. So on top of the $3k in repairs I agreed to, they also felt it neccessary to add the additional fees. When I advised that I did not agree with the fees, the manager offered to give me back $120 of it to avoid a bad review. I told him to keep the $120 because Neil Huffman apparently needs it more than I do or the fees would not be there to begin with. I hope this review serves as an opportunity for them to change this greedy policy. One suggestion would be to leverage the fees to convince the consumer to agree to work orders related to assessments. If they decline the work order, then they should be responsible for the fees.

I recently purchased a 2017 Acura MDX-AWD Advance Package from Neil Huffman Acura. This is my second purchase from them. They found a vehicle with my desired color combination and had it shipped in. They beat the price points of other Acura dealers by a good margin. Justin Yassman - the sales person who handled by account, was very professional and did a great job from start to the finish of the transaction, The entire Neil Huffman team did a good of making sure that everything was perfect. They spent a lot of time showing me the new features of the 2017 MDX and how to program and use them. I tried to do a deal with a salesman named Justin to lease a 2016 Acura MDX and he as less than ethical in his approach to the numbers. I found another Acura dealership who put together a lease for this new vehicle in a higher trim level for over $125 per month cheaper than what Justin provided me for a basic trim level. All Justin had to say to me in an email was "The numbers are the numbers." If that is so, Neil Huffman Oxmoor Acura is ripping people off as a lease should be relatively the same no matter what dealership one goes to. Needless to say, I was very disappointed into this dealership and I drove an hour longer to do a deal for a 2016 Acura MDX with the Tehnology Package at another Acura Dealership.

Michael Stack helped immensely on working with my wife and me on our recent lease. He turned around from his way home to meet with us late on a Saturday. We sat in several vehicles to find the right one that had the best access to transfer from a wheelchair. It was the RDX. It took us the rest of the weekend to decide which color. Had a good experience at Neil Huffman Acura at Oxmoor and working with Jerry Moore. We purchased a used car that had just come in and had a couple minor issues. They got it all worked out and delivered the car in excellent condition. It took a little while to do the paperwork but that is expected. The place was friendly and they didn't put the hard sell on us. Overall they were fair and reasonable to deal with. Likely go back to them in the future.

I recently purchased a vehicle and there have been several issues. I've emailed the sales manager I dealt with, on numerous occasions asking questions to which he will reply "ok" (which obviously doesn't answer my questions). When purchasing the vehicle he never explained the features nor gave us a feature sheet or Carfax. As we test drove, we noticed a warning came on that the passenger side was ajar so we opened/closed multiple times to which we were told it was likely due to water on the sensor from the carwash it had just been through. I'd ask details about the car and the sales manager wouldn't know and didn't take the time to find out nor research these things for us. We decided to purchase thinking we could research the features ourselves. As we went to leave we noticed the dome lights didn't work (the light bulbs were missing) and they didn't have them in stock, so I had to go back which was fine since I had to go back for touch up paint. Directly after the sale he left us and went to tend to other customers, not professional whatsoever - It gave off the mentality of "got your money, on to the next."At the appointment for paint touch up a few days later, they still didnt have the bulbs and left me to make another trip out there. At that same appointment, the sales manager couldn't even remember my name after we'd communicated several times that day and I had set the appointment with him so, he knew I was coming.Then a few days after purchase, the door ajar warning started to come on again intermittently and still does it occasionally when someone gets in. I've learned to live with this.Lastly and the main issue- the car has a safety feature, called MyKey, that is likely used for teenagers. It will not allow you to go over 80 mph, you must buckle up before the radio plays, there is a set on the max the volume will go, etc. The car was sold with only one key (another issue I hoped they would address but of course not) which is programmed with this feature. The master key, which I assume the old owner still has, is the only one that can deactivate it besides a Ford dealership. The sales manager called over to Ford next door and they said they could deactivate this feature! However, this consisted of reprogramming the key for $115, to which Neil Huffman is refusing to pay even after speaking with the GM.I am so upset by my experience and would never recommend this dealership to anyone. I don't understand how two things as small as providing a duplicate key and deactivating the feature would prohibit this company from making a happy customer out of me especially after spending nearly $18,000. A few hundred dollars must be very precious to them. At the very least I figured they'd take care of removing the MyKey feature, but unfortunately no. Good luck if you choose to shop here.

Spent an hour inside and out, trying out the one in the show room, etc. Only problem is, no one would talk to me. Well, that is not totally true. There was one guy there waiting to get his car repaired. He was wondering around also as they had done nothing on his car and he had been there for some time. He just needed a simple 30 minute repair but they had just left the car sit in the shop and he was getting concerned. I learned my lesson on my first visit...Avoid this place! I have looked at other reviews and seen many people very critical of this dealer. Other sites only post five star reviews so I have to assume they either filter their reviews or the dealer posts made up reviews themselves. Go somewhere else where they value their customers and treat you like you matter.

Have had our brand new car there on four different occasions. The service advisors are not knowledgeable and the service manager Bryce Willhite hides behind his office door and tries to not see any one and has his advisors tell the customers he's busy. They would get zero stars across the board.

I have bought multiple cars from Acura and Oxmoor and this experience was no different than past experiences. Purchased a new 2016 ILX. I got a good price, let's face it they are selling cars that have a great reputation, look great, and are dependable. I got this car so that I could give my 2006 TL to my recently licensed daughter, I do miss that car and the V-6 engine, but wanted a little better gas mileage.Great price, great trade in value on old car. Sales people, I only dealt with Victor Horton on this purchase, were phenomenal and I was in and out in about 2 hours, it would have been even faster, but I added a protection package and remote starter they had to install. Victor did all of the work for me, and got me a better price, he even offered to come in on his day off, which I told him not to do, I can wait a day to write that check! MIke from finance was able to get a better finance rate than I could find after hours of research. They were straightforward and honest, no games or guessing if I was getting a good deal. I love the dependability of the Acura brand, nothing worse than your car being in the shop all of the time! Had that issue with my wife's Volvo. I will continue to purchase Acura, gave my 2006 TL, still looks and runs great, to my daughter, and when my wife is ready, she will probably be getting an Acura.

I recently purchased my 4 Acura in about 20 years from Neil Huffman Acura at Oxmooor. It couldn't have been easier or more simple. Victor Horton, my sales person, and Mike Starks from Finance, were very professional, knowledgeable, and worked very hard to make the process easy and straightforward. I did a lot of my research and arrangements by e-mail, and they were always quick to reply with my options. There was none of the old time back and forth. They made me a fair and reasonable offer right away, and did a great job finding me a great finance rate, much better than ones I could find by myself. Everyone at the dealer worked hard to get me the car and options I wanted, and were very upfront and honest with all of the details. I never felt that I was being mislead. I will definitely recommend this dealer, and continue to purchase and service my vehicles there. Also, the facilities are great, very nice customer lounge, and a spotless showroom

Went to view a used vehicle that I was told was immaculate. It was full of smoke and ashes and burn holes. Viewed a second vehicle and decided to make the purchase. After at least an hour of "5 more minutes" we were able to sign everything. Preparing to leave I was told the keys are in it. When I asked how many keys it was only 1. Then I was informed that I could purchase an extra from the dealership. Just checked and that would cost $290. What vehicle doesn't come with 2 keys? Especially a slightly used luxury model! We were really treated like they didn't care if we ever came back for another purchase.

Hasn't even been a year since me and my wife purchased a 2014 MXD that was a service vehicle that had low miles on it. We have had it in the shop twice now for a low voltage charging problem which on the second time they figured out it could be do to updating the software. We also had some warranty work done on it that had to do with black trim piece on the driver side passenger door that was coming loose. We took it in the first time and had them replace it told them what part it was what side what door. They fixed the wrong side three times before they actually got it right on the fourth time. On this last time that they fixed the black trim piece which was the right side right door this time they told us our SUV was done. When we went to go pick it up the SUV the next day it was completely trashed inside. They did not clean out any of their trash or make sure that our SUV was given back to us the way we gave it to them. They left all of their trash in our SUV. They left their empty boxes from parts or lubrication in the back part of our SUV and some kind of rubber or glue shredded residue was all over the inside of our SUV. It just seems like that every time we take our SUV in there for some kind of work done or oil change we do not ever get our car back in a timely manner. They have had my car for almost a week now and this past Saturday 1/24/2015 when we went to pick it up that's when we saw the condition of the car and was told it would be detailed and given back to us on Monday 1/26/2015 and yet again I was told sorry but we have to keep your car because the detailer is off today. So again somebody did not take the time to make sure that the detailer would not be there on Monday and told me the wrong information again. Don't give me wrong the service people that I have dealt with have been nice and courteous but somewhere in the mix The employees there do not do what they're supposed to do. For a company or dealership like Acura as much money as you pay for the cars you should get top-notch service and to this day we have yet to get that. As a customer I have about gotten fed up with the phrase "I'm sorry this is happened" being said to me over and over and over again. If I could I would return the vehicle that I bought or get rid of it but I can't. So until I pay this car off I have to keep on dealing with the ignorance of people not wanting to take the time and effort to make sure that everything is correct before the customer gets there to pick the car up.

I am someone who considers car buying a bittersweet experience. I love to have a new vehicle but hate the process. This was not the case at all when I recently purchased a 2015 MDX at Acura at Oxmoor. My experience there was a pleasure. My salesperson, Victor Horton, made it that way. He was extremely knowledgeable of the entire vehicle both in terms of the mechanics as well as the awesome technology. He was always accessible and responded quickly and thoroughly by text, email or phone. There was no pressure just pleasure throughout the entire process. Even after i purchased the car he was still very available and would continue to be available in anyway needed in the future in terms of questions, arranging maintenance, etc. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND VICTOR HORTON to anyone in the market for a luxury vehicle as I would the Acura MDX and Acura at Oxmoor.

I have purchased and leased 3 vehicles from this dealer. Happy with the vehicles but this is worst dealership that I have ever worked with. Example today, scheduled a 8am service appointment for a simple oil change. Arrived, the computers were down so no service work could be performed. Mechanics sitting around the shop drinking coffee with nothing to do. 2-hrs later they called and said the "computers were up" so I travel back over to the dealership. The young lady at the counter then told that my appointment was a 8am and why was I late?? I couldn't believe it! This is not the first time this has happened with this dealer, everything with them is a challenage to include the actual maintenance, scheduling appointments, keeping appointments, having parts, etc. I have had it. This is the only Acura dealer in town, I like the vehicles but I can't handle this dealer anymore. This is my last Acura.

Called to make appt for oil change. Young man on phone said at my mileage I needed cabin air filter changed and engine air filter also transmission fluid. I agreed to do that then stated. I needed to be out by a certain time to get my grandchildren from school. When I arrived for appt Priscilla Embry checked me in and told me at my cars age needed differential fluid changed and also brake fluid changed. I was not happy the were up selling me again. Asked if there were any coupons she took awhile online but gave me 10%. My oil change now up to 490. When the time I needed to leave by arrived car was not ready. Had to forgo my FREE wash to get out and even then late. Also when she figured the bill was up to 570. I questioned that and after at least 10 minutes, she decides the parts were double charged! Will not be going back. Turns out when I went over my past service bills a recall in 2011 included the transmission fluid being changed. This is a 2010 Acura MDX which we bought in 2011. It has 33,000 miles on it.

Have had our TSX in a few different times for minor repair/warranty type issues and minor maintenenace and have had issues with pricing and quality of work on every occasion. This particular visit was the worse. They did their normal upsale on maintenance and called me to tell me that a noise we had been hearing was a "drive belt pulley" and wanted 340.00 to replace it. They charged us 90.00 diagnostic fee (without our permission to diagnose anything) and I decided since that was a fairly easy repair I would do it myself. Replaced the pulley and the noise continued. It was obviously misdiagnosed. Also qouted 140.00 to replace the cabin air filter which is simply opening the glove box and removing a tray to change. I replaced myself for 30.00 with a filter from the local auto parts store.

I have had nothing but terrible service since buying my New Acura TSX in 2011.The first time I went to search for an Acura, the sales guy had nothing to do with me & did not want to give any effort to sell a vehicle because I am a young female ( but they didnt know I have a very high paying job with excellent credit) . Went back a second time and quickly picked out a color and the TSX that i wanted.... and bought it within 1 hour. At my first oil change appointment, my sales person asked me out on a date ( VERY UNPROFESSIONAL). Then, when paying for my oil change, & other service the guy at the front desk would try and hit on me and make jokes when jokes are not appropriate. Then my information light continues to come on... never fixes this problem & always makes an excuse for why its on.... even though its been on since 3 months after my purchase. DO NOT BUY OR USE SERVICE AT THIS DEALERSHIP..... it sounds dumb---- but I'm taking my ACURA to BOB MONTGOMERY HONDA dealership!!!!!!

I have been going to this dealership to purchase and have cars serviced since 2005. Very easy to make appointments and people at the dealership are friendly and helpful. Quality of work has been great. Never need to return because something was not done right (note that the only servicing I have required is regularly scheduled maintenance as I have never had a problem with my Acura). One time I had them check my air conditioning system and it was done at no charge (everything was normal). Sales person was very helpful and informative. His timing on follow up calls was very good. My experience with sales personnel at Acura over the years has been very positive. They are not just "selling cars" but providing a useful experience helping me to make an informed decision.

My daughter being on vacation, lets Dad do her grunt work. Her baby is an Acura 2008 TL. She loves it except for the mileage and probably will sell because of it as she drives from DC to Louisville often. I dealt with Tina Bowman yesterday and you could not have ask for a more professional and trusting individual. The waiting room and all its amenities you know you are going to be paying more, but that is what an Acura owner expects.I took her TL in for a leaking Power steering pump. Turns out, this was under recall and was addressed at my daughters last service visit. Seems the hoses deteriorate and fail. They replaced the hoses then. However, they created another problem of an improper O-ring somewhere in the reassembly which failed.Got the 45 point inspection and they recommend a timing belt change and rear brakes.$1,000 for timing belt, and $250 for rear brakes. Give me a break!!! I suggested BreakAway for $100.00 and Tina said "if you want them to squeak." Thinks quick on her feet.But really, Brakes are brakes and a company that only does Brakes is going to build their reputation by doing a quality job.While waiting for the car I wondered into the show room, and talked with nice kid named Bobby. Showed me the 3 different models and with the higher gas mileages, my daughter will probably go for one.I would definitely recommend this dealers ship to define the problem and check for recalls. I wont name names, however I quit using the service department as soon as my service plan expired. They are exceptionally rude in the service department- looking to squeeze every dollar from you possible and barely stands by their product once you've made the purchase. It is uncomfortable even being in that service department because of the poor customer service and unprofessionalism. I would never give them a dime without a second opinion(I've caught them in fibs) - even with a confirmed issue they will overcharge you like crazy. My 09 TSX is a great car but the service department has kind of destroyed the Acura experience as a whole.

I recently decided to trade in my favorite vehicle of all time a 2003 BMW X5 in near new condition. She was fun to drive and solid as a tank! It was a hard call but she was getting costly to maintain as older BMWs can be. I called my trusted "Car Guy" Matt DiCapua to help us with this very important and quite frankly stressful decision of ours. Matt as always handled every part of our day with great patience, expert knowledge of the Acura TL we were interested in, remained flexible during the negotiations phase, and his follow thru that day as well as the days that followed were something I have never seen before. My belly could have done without the gourmet cookies he sent as a thank you gift for our business but man they were as good as Matt is at what he does! The staff at Acura especially Tina Bowman in the service department also have been very nice. As you can imagine when I brought my new TL in to have a few upgrades done a few days later I was nervous. Tina treated me like family and her sense of humor helped me get over this somewhat stressful event. I also learned after the fact but I didn't even need to replace the gas in the loaner car I drove! After years of service experience at another local large dealership I can say that Acura At Oxmoor is off to a great start with me and my family because of the staff they have! Thank you Matt and Tina! CYA at my next oil change!!!

My overall experience with Acura at Oxmoor was anything but the best. The sales staff seemed to work together unselfishly in providing me with the best service possible. I wasn't at all very serious about purchasing a new vehicle until the staff provided knowledgable information of the product line, the value of my trade as well as the incentives that were available. Mr. DeCapua was extremely easy to work with. He went out of his way several times to ensure that my experience was positive. I never once thought I was being played, or taken advantage of. The entire process was actually quite enjoyable. I felt as though my business was valued. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Matt DiCapua was a great salesman to deal with at Acura at Oxmoor. He was very friendly and not pushy at all. After I left the dealership on June 18, 2012, I thought I would have to wait about 4 weeks to get the new Acura ILX in the color I wanted. Within 2 days, he called and said he would have one on the lot the very next day. He was very thorough in his explanation of the car and answered all questions that we had. This is one of the pathetic service center. They always says we will call you in a hour, but they never call you. worst service center. These guys recommended to do the transmission flush to my 03 acura and i asked them if i change the transmission flush, is that get effect my transmissions, they said it won't happened , i did the transmission flush at this service center, then after month i am having the issue and after 2 months my transmission gone, when i ask them they said i have to pay around 4000+ for new transmission and it's not their problem. they service center Representatives are awful, I don't recommend to go this service center unless you have lot of money Don't believe these guys whatever they says check with other dealers.

The service department at this dealership is horrendous! I took my car in because it had a shimmy at speeds in excess of 70 mph and I was pretty sure it was a bent rim. After having my car at the dearlership for 3 days, they did not fix the problem. When I called to complain that it was still doing it, I was then told that "the speed limit is 70." ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?? I spent $30K for what is touted to be a type of finely-crafted machine less than a year-and-a-half ago that they can't get to drive properly at a minimal over the limit speed!!! So I took my car to another Acura dealer where they diagnosed the problem as a bent rim within 5 minutes. Lo & behold, the car runs like the day I bought it again. I will never, never do business with Acura at Oxmoor again. I'm a big fan of the Acura brand and am on my 2nd Acura now but my trust was nearly lost after this incident. If Oxmoor treats all of their valued customers so special then Acura should have ripped their brand name off this dealership a long time ago. Unbelievable!Also be wary of the services they try to sell you at your regular service intervals. They tried to tell me I had to spend about $600 at my 15K service for the service that were needed. So I did my own homework and found out that they were trying to sell me services I didn't need to the tune of about $400.

Purchased 2008 Acura TL from Acura of Oxmoor on 01/15/10 after seeing another one of their vehicles listed on cars.com. I called to see if there were other 2008 low mileage TL's available. Yes said the sales rep, ND, "we have a beautiful 23000 mile carbon bronze pearl that just came in, but it has not been through cleanup and I don't have pictures yet. However, I will get you pictures ASAP." Pictures were posted that afternoon and very detailed appearance questions were completely answered and disclosed. The vehicle was exactly what I wanted and it was priced appropriately. I booked a flight to Louisville, KY for the next day and my TL was waiting for me at the airport. The driver greeted me and said, "We thought you would like to drive your TL to our location; the paperwork is ready to sign. After a late Saturday lunch at the dealership, a few signatures, a fresh tank of gas and wash for the TL; I told the Acura navigation system to guide the TL 419 miles home. This honest, ethical,friendly and professional method of doing business by Acura of Oxmoor made this sales transaction successful for both parties. Thanks again,JT

Was told they couldn't order the car I wanted from the factory and that I would have to pay to have one trailered in. Acura in Lexington swapped a factor order online with another dealer and had my car off the trailer from the factory two weeks later. I drove over 200 miles to buy from Acura in Lexington rather than Acura at Oxmoor. Will never do business with Acura at Oxmoor again.
