I got a great deal purchasing my Subaru here. Also, this is the better dealership in Louisville to have performing service and maintenance. The other Subaru dealership has much better aesthetic, but this dealership is function over form.

*UPDATE* We just purchased our 8th vehicle from Neil Huffman, and we won’t shop anywhere else! I’ve dealt with other dealerships in town, and Neil Huffman Subaru is a different kind of dealership. They really care about the long term relationship, not just trying to get the most money they can out of you on each individual transaction. I’m a tough negotiator, and I’ve ALWAYS walked away from Neil Huffman Subaru KNOWING I got a great deal with great service. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Neil Huffman! From the initial phone call to the close of the deal, Spencer Murphy the sales associate my husband and I worked with was phenomenal and couldn’t have been better! Don’t hesitate to buy a new or used car from him. Patient, knowledgeable (actually knew what he was talking about), upfront, and so down to earth. Picked up a 2021 Subaru Forester Limited for the wife. Leilani Hart (Sales Associate) and Jay Cross (Sales Manager) were great from start to finish. No rush or pressure to buy anything extra. They were timely, efficient, and provided 2 years free maintenance. I highly recommend Neil Huffman Subaru. Note: It is always good to call ahead for knowing the numbers before you go in. It saved me time and I knew what I was getting myself into in advance.

Called and originally spoke to Darren about a 2016 Outback. He spoke to sales manager named Issacs who said it wasn't ready. Darren assured me he would call me two days later to let me know status and take a payment of $500 to hold the vehicle. He did not call so I made a call to the dealership and spoke with Bethany who also spoke to Mr Issacs and stated he said it would not be ready for two weeks. Again she swore to call me as soon as it was able to be sold and promised it would not be sold without me having the opportunity to hold it. I once again called the dealership 4 days later to check the status of the car and was abruptly told it was sold. I asked to speak to Mr Issacs to inquire what happened to cause them not to fulfill their twice made promise and ask why he misled me and two sales reps. He arrogantly cut me off and said " It sold! what the xxxx you want me to do about it?" I called to speak to someone at Huffman Headquarters and finally got someone who stated they would seek answers and call me back the necxt day. No surprise, they didn't call. Rude Liars all the way around! PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!

Randy Sims helped us find exactly the specific model we wanted with the requested color and build. Brouight my 1995 Subaru Legacy in for a basic oil change and a alignment check. I was told 33.00 for oil change on phone and when I brought the car in. I also had a7.50 off coupon which was presented at service write up. Somehow when they finished my car the oil change cost 36.00. The advisor said he gave me the the 7.50 off but he didn't he charged me a oil change price for a newer vehicle that takes synthetic. They have lost my business! they seem to be clueless on what to charge on oil changes on older vehicles. Second time this has happened ridiculous! They act like they don't prefer to service older subarus.I guess I should buy a new one so they can know the correct price to charge!

My husband and I drove 2.5 hours to Neil Huffman Suburu even though there was another dealership 30 minutes away. We were not disappointed in that decision. Randy and Dave expertly explained the features and made car buying a pleasure. Both Randy and Dave understood that I would be the primary driver and while being courteous to me and my husband, directed most of their attention to me (a woman), unlike other dealerships that haven't grasped equality in the marketplace. I highly recommend this dealership.

I was looking for a new car and had researched many vehicles. I began my journey to dealerships at Neil Huffman Subaru. I was very happy with my visit and the courtesy of the staff. My husband and I were desperate for a new car. We had done a lot of research into what type of vehicle we wanted and came down to a Subaru Outback as our number 1 pick. We visited a lot of other dealerships before traveling to Neil Huffman's but are incredibly glad we ended there. Our sales rep, Leilani, was beyond amazing. She offered us the best car buying experience either of us had ever had. Once we told her what we were looking for she immediately got us test driving cars that suited our requirements.We ended up driving our new vehicle off the lot that night (Leilani as well as a few others stayed late to help make sure we could leave that day with a new car). Throughout the entire experience Leilani was professional, warm, courteous and fun. We cannot say enough how amazing she is and how great our new Outback is. 10 of 10 would DEFINITELY recommend and have already done so.

My last car buying experience didn't leave me very confident. With the staff a Neil Huffman I felt the complete opposite after signing on the dotted line. They answered all of my questions and made me feel 100% comfortable and confident in the investment of a new vehicle. Everyone I worked with was very plesent and welcoming from the minute I stepped in the door, until the moment I drove off the lot. I highly recommend working with the Huffman auto groups.

I bought my first Subaru (2016 XV Crosstrek) from Ron Mayer at Neil Huffman Subaru. A great gentlemen to work with. The out-of-the door price was ok only, not the cheapest. I also traded in my 2013 Scion xD with 27K miles on it and the buyback price was also lower than Carmax.Overall, I still recommend this dealer (especially Ron) to anyone. I definitely will buy car from them again.

I visited Neil Huffman with the intention of obtaining information, and returning to my home dealership to pursue a purchase. I had the good fortune to meet and work with Randy Sims who should be the role model for what an car buying experience should be. He was courteous, attentive, and supportive without being pushy. He answered all questions knowledgeably, and turned my exploration into a car buying experience. I cannot imagine anyone who would extend more service that he did. Not only did he go out of his way to find my "perfect" car which was quite some distance away, he delivered it to my door the next day - which was also quite some distance from the dealership. Price could not be matched, service was outstanding, and I am now a loyal Subaru owner.

It's rare to "enjoy" going to a car dealer but I can say I was fortunate to have such an experience at the Neil Huffman Subaru Dealership in Lpuisville. From the time I walked in to signing the paperwork, the salesperson, the supervisor of their sales team, and their business manager were professional and friendly. Any and all requests or questions I had were answered quickly and friendly. I.e.-did the vehicle being purchased have a recall for the Takata airbags having defects,? they checked into it to assure me it was not equipped with them. Post sales I was contacted to inquire how the auto was in my opinion and that if anything in information or assistance was needed, to call them. I had totally vetted the desired auto on line via Consumer Reort and other dealer sites, and auto reviews including Kelly Bluebook for trade in values. All cincerns, accurately were supported at the deal ship. I will suggest friends to check out Neil Huffman Subaru if they are looking for a Honest and enjoyable car dealer

Bought my new Outback from Neil Huffman Subaru this week thanks to my wonderful salesman, Randy Sims. This is my 4th Subaru and Randy is the most knowledgeable person I have dealt with concerning the entire Subaru line. Randy helped to make the entire process enjoyable. I made an Internet Inquiry via truecar.com and received a quick response. Katrina Bishop is the Internet Sales contact and she was very professional & knowledgeable. She introduced us to Ron Mayer upon arrival and he took great care of us. He was patient, answered our questions, and showed us several models. While we thought we wanted an Outback, we wanted to make sure. Ron exhibited kindness, friendliness, and he listened. Our needs were his focus as he wanted to ensure we were satisfied. He beat an offer that I received from another local Subaru dealer that I had visited the day before, and Neil Huffman had the vehicle in stock! All I can say is that this was the best new car buying experience we've ever had!

Like a lot of folks I got on truecar.com to check relative prices in area. I was contacted by the dealership through Katrina Bishop who claimed to be the Internet Sales Manager. When I called the dealership to check they said she was not the sales manager but just a salesman. I emailed her back and stated "Hey Katrina, I'm not trying to be rude but are you the primary Internet Sales Manager? If not is there someone above you? Thanks". Then I gave them an offer from another dealership to see if they could beat it. She never contacted me back. Almost like I had hurt her feelings. Anyway, I felt like I was dealing with children... Then another manager (who also looks about 20 yrs. old) contacts me and says they are sorry for the error and that Katrina is "transitioning" into sales manager. I mean if I have to research if someone is telling the truth about their position how the heck am I going to trust them to sell me a car. Pitiful

It all starts when you call into the dealer and get transferred to Heaven who schedules you to meet with a sales person based on what your looking for. I explained in detail what I was looking for and the time constraints surrounding it and she said it would not be a problem. Well that was a bold faced lie! When I arrived to the dealer the sales woman Robin instantly started telling me what was going to happen and how things worked around there(I guess she forgot that there are other dealers in Louisville that treat customers with respect), I told her what I had already told Heaven and she replied that they do not allow the cars to be test driven and that even then its only 2 miles because if it has more than 50 miles it depreciates $5000.00!!!(Wow thats WRX depreciates more than vehicles that are considered Luxury) Then as I explained that I am only home for a short time on leave from my deployment and needed to test drive with my wife and we had already scheduled this time to test there she became even ruder and said" surely you and your wife have more freetime and can come in later in the week", who the xxxx does this woman think she is? Regardless I am buying from somewhere else and hope this saves someone else some headache in dealing with them!

We have just recently purchased the 4th car in our immediate family (all within 1.5 years of each other and all working with TJ) and couldn't be more pleased. The most recent transaction was the purchase of a Mazda CX 7 for my mother. We looked plenty of places before finally ending up where I knew we would all along. They gave us more for her 2 trade in's than anywhere else we had gotten estimates on them. TJ was also great to work with and made the car buying process very easy! This is my second car that I have bought from Neilhuffman. I love the positive up beat atmosphere of the dealership and the numerous car options. My sales person, Aric, has worked with me to find the best car for me in my budget. He makes sure that I fully understand all the features on my car and I'm comfortable driving it. Chuck, the Subaru Manager, also worked extermly hard to get me the best rate possible on my car and to make sure that I was okay with my payments. I did not feel rushed or prushered to buy a car that day like you do at most dealerships. I can honestly say that they where looking out for my best interest with my puraches. Aric still continues to call me to make sure that I'm doing okay and I'm happy with my car. I highly recommend this dealership and the employees that work at this location.

The worst customer service I have ever received from a dealership. Never returned any of my calls. Came to the point where I drove from ft. Knox to huffmans just to tell them to call my insurance company. Lied multiple times about the progress of my car. Car was there for 2 months, getting a new frontend and grill installed. Was told car would be done on a Friday, then on Monday, then again on Tuesday. car was finally done on Wednesday. Will never return for anything. Would rather drive to Ohio, Indy, or Tennessee other than go to huffmans again.
