I found my car online and was able to get all of my questions answered by phone. My husband had time to drive the car (it's not close to my house). We bought it later that day after reaching an agreement by phone. Nick stayed late to help us. I was very pleased that we did not have to have more trips to the dealer. Nick made it go as quickly as possible when we got there. I was a little bummed that it didn't have a couple features, but that was my fault for not reading closely and not asking questions. Both of those items are easily remedied. Love my Camry! Very happy with Nick, Mike and Newbold!

Wow,What a great experience. This was the easiest vehicle purchase we have ever had. Walked in,was greeted by Nick. Nick was very professional, asked us to take a ride with him to the Truck Lot and there she was, our big black beauty. We love our Tundra. I purchased a used vehicle from Newbold a month or so back and have nothing but problems since then. While the dealership and General Manager seemed concerned with my unhappiness with my car it was all a lie. I was told in writing that they would pay for the diagnostic and repair issue that my car has if I had a certified dealer work on it. I did my part, had a bill for $586.53 that they then called and said they already want above and beyond. I always thought that saying was a declaration of superior service and willingness to make something better. Is being lied to and sticking your customer with a bill you promised to pay above and beyond? Not in my book. Your service is disgraceful as is your tactic to save a buck in the name of lies. Good luck.

I bought a BMW about 2 years ago from Patrick Newbold and Blaine Finnegan (Service Manager). I had an X3 and knew Blaine from taking it in for service. They have the best service department I've ever seen. Had a great experience. Very easy, pleasant people to work with. No pressure, just outstanding service. I walked in a few days ago just looking around and ended up with a new BMW X1. I bought this one from Blake Turner and Patrick Newbold. Blake has been great. He has been there to help with any questions. This is an awesome dealership with exceptional people. I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a BMW.

Had a great and comfortable experience from beginning to end. I was researching online, pictures and words just dont match up to the in person experience, so I decided to visit Newbold BMW. Walking in the door I was met by Sarah Ashford; personable, professional and made me feel at home. I was really impressed with the relaxed NO pressure attitude. After determining what car I was interested in, Sarah and I walked over to the car and she pointed out the features. We sat in the car for around an hour exploring the onboard amenities, technical aspects and she answered my concerns. Usually I dont buy black cars, but this Black Sapphire 428i xDrive Grand Coupe was stunning! The interior was black too, the red pin stripping on the seats and red accent trim is gorgeous.The entire car buying process was extremely quick and efficient, from walking in the door to driving the car home took about 2 1/2 hours. I would highly recommend giving Newbold BMW a chance to earn your business.

This is the second time I have purchased a car through the Newbold dealerships. My first car was a BMW convertible, the second a Toyota Corolla. Both times, I have worked directly with Patrick Newbold. Patrick is friendly, professional, and will bend over backwards to ensure you not only get the best deal possible, but to make you feel comfortable with the process. Patrick goes out of the way to work with you and be patient regarding any questions you may have. I live in St. Charles and will literally drive 45 minutes to Illinois just to work with the Newbolds. Hands down, they are the best. I will not buy a car from anyone else.

This is with us and my sister, our 9th BMW purchase since 2008. That's a fair amount of BMW's, and we will not go anywhere else. The sales experience is simply excellent. We like a dealer that is large enough to take care of all the car needs, but small enough to be somewhat like a "good old fashioned small town dealer." It is not that, but feels like that. I came to Newbold BMW not really knowing which car I would buy. I initially thought I would purchase a pre-owned BMW SUV. I knew I wanted to test drive several models and that I wanted a vehicle that met my budget. I was driving by Newbold BMW from leaving another dealership and decided to stop by. I only waited a few minutes and Rich G. helped me find exactly the (used) car I wanted, at the price I was willing to pay. Communication via e-mail made correspondence very easy. It was a smooth process from the first day I found the car to the day I made the final purchase. The final paperwork took no more than 10 minutes. It was a great experience at Newbold and I love my "new" car.

I had a great easy experience from beginning to end. You can only do so much research online. Eventually you need to go see the vehicle in person and take that first test drive. I intially contacted Newbold thru their website. Mike Stone was the one who responded and I'm glad he did. Before taking up my time and yes his as well, I wanted to make sure the vehicle terms where not only affordable to me but also the particular model was right for our vehicle needs. On my first visit I met Mike in person. I went in knowing this visit was basically for informational purposes and getting to actually drive the X1. I was impressed with both Mike's professional demeanor and with the features offered in the X1. Basically just two guys sitting across a desk discussing and thinking aloud my options on making this purchase a reality. I was really impressed with the relaxed NO pressure attitude at Newbold BMW. They didn't require me to fill out any forms, write down my name with follow up info and most importantly didn't take the keys from current vehicle to hide in a drawer so I couldn't leave. I left with more knowledge of the model and had acquired the information I needed. After thinking it over a few more days, I contacted Mike on email. We exchanged ideas on a few scenarios. Other than what's always required with a new purchase, I didn't want to take a lot of cash into the deal to make it work. Of course, like most I had limits on what I wanted to have as a monthly payment. Mike's attitude throughout was basically "you have to do what's right for your monthly budget and works out best for your families needs". Well I'm happy to say it all worked out. When (I) was ready to start "plugging" in the numbers, I was actually able to get into an upgraded X1 model. It had more features and options than the unit I initially drove. Because of Mike's time talking me through it and Pat Newbold working out the deal, I was able to get into the best vehicle for me. I was also able to stay at the price point I felt I needed to be.

My last three new vehicles have come from Newbold BMW. I am such a fan that I brought my son in for his first new BMW. I trust the staff at Newbold BMW. Jim Andrews has been great to work with for my last two leases and he also worked with my son on his. Buying or leasing at Newbold is a great experience. You can do in a reasonable amount of time - it doesn't take a day to get a new car. I was in an out in under 45 minutes. I enjoy the security of a leased BMW - the maintanence coverage is excellent. The service department at Newbold is great as well. Scheduling is easy, there is a very pleasant waiting area and I can even take a loaner if time is tight. I give Jim Andrews and the entire staff of Newbold BMW - 5 Stars!

My experience with Mr. Rich was pleasant from the very beginning. He talked to me about the vehicles I enquired about. Talked me through the differences and didn't try to push me into anything. I told him I would contact him the next day with my decision and he respected that. There was no hassle which was a big relief. He was very courtesous at all times and made the purchase as smooth as possible. When I went into the dealer ship I was there for about an hour if that. Once I gave him the call he requested my information on the phone and when I came in to get the car everything was ready for my signature. This is how you do business.The experience overall was excellent. I appreciated his assistance and I enjoyed conversating with him over a course of a few days while I was in the decision making process and at the dealership. I purchased a 2013 Toyota Rav, not BMW, at Newbold Toyota. I went there to "look" at Ravs because I wasn't satisfied with anotherToyota dealership, one I had purchased cars from for the past 10-12 years. I was shown different vehicles. My questions and concernswere all addressed. I was not pressured into any decisions and was given options to choose from. Each Toyota employee I was introducedto and spoke with, were friendly and knowledgeable. I went on a Saturday and the following Monday had a brand new Rav 4 to drive away with. I went from a lease' to buying a car' largely because of the service I was given. I would highly recommend the Newbold Toyota dealership to anyone!

It was really great experience. They have completed paperwork really fast and given every information. One thing is that Finance team could not justify me about why I am not eligible for getting 1.99% APR. I got it 2.5%, I am okay with it but I would have been more happy to know that as that was the reason to buy a certified CAR. Well I assume there would be some reason of not getting that APR even though my credit score is above 750. However my overall experience is very good. Car is good and price is also good as compared to other dealers. I would recommend this place to my friends and Family. I forgot to get a $25 Goft card and sent them email but hasnt received any communication. I wish NewBolt all the best and I am sure it will go long as Price is compitative and Sales Manager take quick decision on price and I really liked that.

We had a good experience and got a good price. The only hindrance we had was the back-and-forth game with the sales manager. Wouldn't it be easier to have him speak to us directly after we rejected the first offer? Anyway, we LOVE the car and appreciate that no one made us feel bad when our 2yr old pulled the fire alarm! I had only been to the dealership once before about several years ago. When my wife and I arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff member. I wanted to trade my car for a new Toyota FJ Cruiser. We were treated kindly and with respect. The salesman wanted to know what we were looking for in the trade. I told him what my requirements were and he worked over a period of several hours to meet our requirements. He was professional and friendly. We finally agreed on a price and I really like the car. I believe I got a fair deal from Newbold. I look forward to a long relationship with Newbold Toyota. Also, my wife and I worked with Matt in finance. Really nice guy who was very helpful and took time to explain the details of the deal with us. Really excellent experience all around.

When I test drove the car that purchased the car was not detailed and the low gas light was on. After I sign the deal on the car I was told that when I come back and take delivery of the vehicle witch by the way was two days later that the car would be detailed and that they would put gas in the vehicle. But when I showed up nothing was done and when I told then that nothing was done I just got the attitude of o'well we got are money we don't care. Also I was told the car was service and it was not, I have purchased many of cars in the last 30 years and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had I will never ever recommend anyone to your dealership.One very unhappy customer !!!!!!

As a woman of a certain age, I am seldom approached by a car salesman when shopping alone. I appreciate the respect and attentiveness I got from Tim. I was treated as a serious buyer. I had done the research and narrowed my selection to a Cadillac or a BMW. The 2 were comparable at a total (options, price, and operating costs.) The sales staff made the difference for me. Tim took the time to provide a total costs, while the Cadillac sales staff would only speak in generalities and ballpark numbers. I am thrilled with my purchase and my husband his thrilled he gets to continue his "bromance" with the service department.

I am very disappointed by the conceited Finance Manager that assumed he knew what was best for our purchase. Although we indicated that we had credit union financing, he took it upon himself to search 3 additional sources. This was not requested from him.We are in the midst of purchasing a home and are attempting to reduce the number of credit inquiries on our account. He added 3 additional which impact the FICO score. Numerous inquiries decrease score and increase financing costs. I already had my daughter set up for long-term financing at Scott Credit Union.I am not satisfied with his actions. If anything, he did not listen to my wife or daughter nor did he indicate that he was going to run our information.The salesman was exceptional. The Finance Manager was below par.Emmett Hamilton

I was looking for a used car by browsing the internet. I would use cars.com and check out individual dealer web sites to look at their used cars. When I would find a car that interested me, I would initiate a 'chat' with the dealer. Newbold followed up my initial contact with a phone call the next morning and gave me the name of the person I would deal with at the dealership. My agent, George Page, was knowledgeable and friendly. He did not condescend to me because I am a woman which I GREATLY appreciate. (That has happened to me way too many times in my lifetime.) Our negotiations were clear and concise and no-pressure. I am now a happy certified Corolla owner with 4 FREE oil changes in my future--a great marketing strategy. Thank you, George and Newbold!

Over the phone we purchased the vehicle and the next day came in to close the deal. He met us at the door and within a short time I was driving away in my new car. I finally have had a unique opportunity to be treated like a person and not a number when buying a car. The folks at this dealership provide a very pleasent car buying experience. There was no secret conversation between the salesmen and his boss. Things were quite the opposite with all details revealed in the open. No hidden fees, no suprise add on's. Overall the best car buying experince I can recall. I would highly recommend Newbold BMW to any and all intereseted parties looking for a new or used vehicle. We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Newbold BMW. The selection of CPOs- what we were in the market for - was superb, the asking prices reasonable, and the assistance just the right mix of helpful and hands off. We ended up with a 2011 BMW 328i with 6700 miles, lots of amenities and options, and in fantastic condition, with a 6 year, 100,000 mile warranty.When it came time to buy, Rich treated both my wife and I with deference and respect, and was very friendly to boot. He answered all our questions honestly, offered needed information when and where appropriate, and most important to me, did not really 'sell' this car at all. The dealership gave me a trade-in quote over email on our 2005 Jetta, and stuck to it when we brought the car in. This quote was well above blue-book and fair for the mostly immaculate condition the car was in. When we got down to price, the deal took all of 5 minutes to put together. They shot me a price $500 lower than the asking, I shot back with 3% less, or around $3000 off asking (based on market research on the same car sold all over our area). When he came back from the sales manager's office, they'd done $100 better than that. Sold.No pressure on financing (we used our bank), no problem with final arrangements (after hours, but we took the car home and brought the check next day), no hassle on the paperwork (in fact, they'd quoted the costs wrong on our finalization sheet, so cut us a check for another $150 - thanks, James Newbold!), no high pressure upsale (but a quick and honest rundown of the extended factory warranty options available to us.This was the first car I bought from Newbold. It won't be the last. They were awesome. I've told all my friends and family how great it was, and they know me as the guy who'd rather shove a fork in his eye than buy a car.

Tim Severine provided me with a very transparent, easy transaction on my purchase. I was specifically looking to purchase a new or CPO BMW 5 series to replace my 2004 545i, which was working prefectly, but out of warranty at 131K. I had purchased two cars from Jim Andrews previously, and he lived up to and exceeded my expectations. There were no CPOs that met my wants, so I settled on a new 535i that was almost what I would have ordered. Through a combination of incentives, I saved about $4K off the price. I agreed to purchase on Saturday and picked up the car on Monday evening. It was excently prepared and ready on time. The financial part only took a few minutes and was well done.Jim gave a thorough overview of the car's features, and we were off. I spent about 45 minutes at home activating the sattelite radio and adjusting the settings to my preferences.The 535i doesn't have the immediate power and torque of the 545i, but it is more than adequate. I am already enjoying some of the features of the newer car (sat. radio, remote keyless entry, and much better gas mileage.)I am a happy camper so far.

The car when I purchased it had a defective front passenger wheel.When I noticed the defect. I called Newbold and brought it to dealer for replacement. It was patched but dealer refused replacement. Still negotiating with BMW USA.

Dave and Blaine in the Service Department are very personable and always provide a clear understanding of the work performed, what is needed, what is recommended, and what can wait. I worked with Bob from 400 miles away on a CPO. Bob was knowledgeable and upfront about the car. He stated on several occasions that the car was nearly flawless. I was skeptical since I wouldn't see it until the day of purchase. He was right. It is incredible. Seven hundred miles so far without a problem. Pat Newbold was also great to work with. He called us back to the dealership because he had given us he wrong interest rate. It was a point too high. He had a signed sales agreement and he brought us back to save us almost $1000. I would definitely recommend.

I would not recommend Newbold to anyone. They are the most unprofessional group of salesmen I have ever dealt with. I have made numerous attempts to get specific questions answered, with the response..."I will call you right back." I finally have to call days later. I talked to two different salesmen at that dealership who gave me $3,000 difference in value of my own BMW within days of each other. I was told that the reason why is because I have "major transmission trouble". I then had THEIR service department inspect it to find out that there was nothing wrong with my car. I have had 3 different people call there in reference to a particular vehicle on their lot. Even gave the salesmen the stock number. All three times they were given inaccurate information about the car. When I talked to the manager about that particular situation, he said that we "talked to the wrong people." That is the response to all of my questions and concerns about my different experiences....."You are talking to the wrong people." What kind of answer is that? I finally talked to the owner. I now understand why the salesmen and manager are the way they are.....It all starts at the top!!
