I started inquiries on an Armada at the beginning of the year. I told Brooks I was interested, but not ready to purchase. He kept in touch with me in the spring with some vehicles I might like. Gave him a call when I was ready, and he had a vehicle ready. Not knowing the one we purchased was just received at Newton the day before. My wife and I felt comfortable during the process, and even took care of some concerns after the sale. I would recommend Brooks if someone needs a car!

I made a request on line for inventory and price. Jared Stanley was very helpful, but I told him I would have to involve Michelle Nevels before I decided because she had sold me a 2015 Altima. As usual Michelle was very helpful,friendly, and kwowledgable. She helped me find a 2017 Altima. I want to thank other people who were friendly and helpful. I'm the type of person who doesn't like pushy sales people. They intimidate me. We went there looking at the Pathfinder and ended up with a Rouge, which I absolutely LOVE! Mike' s kind and gentle personality was just what I needed. He had more patience than I would have had if I had someone like me as a customer! I literally walked him up and down, back and forth. Read almost all the window stickers on both models. I sent him after MANY sets of keys. After all of that, I knew what I wanted. I wanted the Rouge. Only, your store didn't have what I wanted. Mike along with Dan worked dillagently over the next few days to find me that "perfect" car. After having it sent over from the Gallitan store, it was even better than I wanted! Tori and Joel were amazing! I went there almost at closing time and they didn't mind helping me even after they were closed , I felt very secure buying from them and I really love my car! I called the dealership one day with a few questions and talked with Chris Milliken. After shopping around in Murfreesboro, I decided to drive out to Newton Nissan in Shelbyville. I was very pleased with the selection of cars, and more impressed by Chris and the other staff's level of professionalism. There is plenty of open highway to test drive instead of just around the city, and the cars were clean and ready to go. Negotiation was very easy and low pressure. I'll definitely go back to Chris in the future when buying again.

Jim did an awesome job finding and making sure i had the car i wanted, i told him that i have been looking at the red Nissan Altima that was used he brought me the one with the tinted windows and once i asked about the back up camera he made sure we had that and he went and found me the other red car, test drove it came back to nissan and he explained everything about the car to me in detail so i knew just how much more safe this car was compared to my 2011 Sentra, he also made very well conversation while we waited for the car to get cleaned up! I will have to say hands down, this was one of the best auto purchase experiences I have ever had. The overall car purchase experience at Newton Nissan was great! Each and every person that was involved in my purchase was very kind and genuine. My husband and I worked closely with Matt, who is great at his job, along with being very personable. He never made me feel pressured to make a purchase and he had a good attitude keeping the purchase from every getting to intense. I feel he truly had the best intentions when selling me a vehicle, and that is very hard trait to find. Matt even called me a week later, after my husband and I got back to the states from our Wedding trip; just to check up on us and our first week with the vehicle. I had a very satisfying buying experience. I was pre-qualified, and had shopped the internet for cars. The pricing here was very good compared to even Nissan of Murfreesboro, as I was shopping around with different dealers. Jessica was amazing; she got me additional pictures, answers to additional questions, and everything I needed. What she didn't know, she found it, but I was very impressed that took the time just to "check in" with me if she waiting on an answer, etc. I had a issue with the back window tint, and Newton referred me to another shop to take care of, and Jessica even followed up to make sure everything with the tinting went smoothly. Catherine was very sweet and charming, and a pleasure to deal with as well as Joel. I don't have great credit, and I was never made to feel inferior to anyone else in the dealership. I hadn't bought a car through a dealer in years, I had been paying cash, but I would definitely recommend and give Newton Nissan my business again. I love my Maxima! Thank you, Newton Nissan!

Michelle Nevels and other staff were very helpful. She went out of her way to meet our needs, answer questions, provide speedy service and follow-through. We felt were were treated fairly and honestly and that staff had genuine concern for our needs and overall experience. The 2016 Nissan Versa which we purchased late July, was involved in an accident 2 days after purchase. Our 19-year-old daughter was shaken, but not injured. The car was deemed totaled after the front end was completely smashed and the air bag deployed. We feel fortunate that she was in the new car, because the safety features did the job that had been described by Michelle. We can replace the car, but our daughter is all that really mattered.

I found a Nissan Juke that I wanted to see so I inquired on line to make sure that it was still available. I received a phone call within a couple of minutes from Brooks Lehman. They are so prompt and efficient. I went to see the vehicle and my dealer was Ron Golden. My credit isn't great but that didn't stop him from treating me like his number one priority. He was super laid back and made me feel so comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better sales person. My car has a couple of little Scratches and they are even giving me a rental car while they fix these scratches. I couldn't be more pleased with Brook in the customer service Dept. She has been wonderful in working with me and my busy schedule while setting up a paint time. I would highly recommend Ron and this dealership! I'm so happy with my purchase and my experience.

My wife Sandra and I went to Newton's Nissan for a recall. The service staff was very personable and cordial to us. We really felt at home. Finding out our warranty had expired and that we may need a new one on our 2015 Rogue, we were introduced to Joel in financing. Long story short, Joel and Catherine showed us we could drive a 2016 Rogue for what it would cost, total, to add a warranty to our old Rogue. We traded up and made new friends at Newton's. Recently just purchased another 2012 Nissan Sentra. Unfortunately I had car trouble, battery, brakes, and rotors. I've never in my life been treated so professional by Michelle Nevels and her manager, Mr. Green. When they were through, they made me feel like a king. We came here to trade in my 2007 Nissan Altima and wanted to get a Nissan Rogue. We scheduled an appointment and the service was amazing. We first worked with Michelle, but she was out of the office when we went in, so Jared took good care of us. When we went to Nissan just to look at some vehicles after our truck was totaled, Chris spotted us and immediately wanted to help. Originally, we were planning to wait a week until we received the money for our totaled truck, but he was able to work with us and find us something for a reasonable price. We also met Dan, because we were planning to go through USAA, but he gave us a better discount for going through Nissan instead. Joel did our paperwork, and he explained everything we had questions about. We ended up walking off the lot with a beautiful 2015 Nissan Altima. Thank you so much, Chris!

Think about it ? Have you ever gone to the same dealer twice ? Or how about the SAME SALESMAN ? I did and will do it again, if I ever want another vehicle ! Last year, I met a really nice salesman, Matthew Carman, who put me in a new 2015 Altima . He made sure I knew how to use the features on it and called to check to see how I liked it ,even days after I drove off the lot ! I'm still loving my Altima and it replaced a 19 year old vehicle ! So naturally, when my wife needed to replace her Rogue with a larger vehicle, I called Matthew and told him we were coming by. I was in need of a vehicle after my previous one was totaled in an accident. I applied and was pre-approved for a car loan with an on-line financial institution. I contacted Newton Nissan South after seeing a certified 2013 Nissan Rogue S on their website. I was able to complete my paperwork for the vehicle on line. Saturday May 28th I called Trent and told him what I had in mind of trading my paid for 2013 Nissan Sentra SL and also would have to trade my 2006 Harley Davidson V-Rod Motorcycle. Trent already knew that I, if I was going to get something new, it would be a Rogue. When I arrived at Newton Nissan Trent was with a customer and he said to me that he would get someone to help me, but I said no, because I thought it was only right that I give Trent my business simply because he had already spent time on the phone with me before. To me, Loyalty means a lot. I said that I was not in no great hurry, and so I went out on the lot and started looking at some Rogues with SV trim that had heated seats. I quickly found two that I liked, then there came Trent, we picked one and then a test drive ensued. As of 1 week today June 4th 2016, I am enjoying very much my 2016 Rogue SV with Midnight Jade exterior and Almond interior. The entire sales experience went to my liking and I am Happy to tell anyone please give Newton a try. Oh, by the way, this is my 3rd New car at this location. The service experience is pretty sweet as they are always very courteous to me and everyone else is very kind making Newton just a nice place to hang out.Ray Anderson

I originally gave this dealership 10's on a survey but I am taking it back..When trying to cancel my Gap/Warranty I've been getting nothing but the runaround. They have confused my paperwork with my sisters and I've had to constantly call to check on this..Its been a total nightmare.. On top of that my girlfriend who referred us was also given a runaround about her referral money that was promised to her by Josh and Jim. She ended up having to call the owner to get a little $200 referral money!! Stop lieing to people!! Where's the integrity..

I live in Houston and flew to Tennessee to get my car from Newton Nissan. I was hit by the floods in Houston for the 2nd time this year and contacted Brooks just a few days after the flood and he got the ball rolling and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Warning!...this will most likely be a VERY lengthy review!! However, it's worth taking the time to read, if you're serious about purchasing a vehicle and considering Newton Nissan South! This review is a long time coming as I'm a busy mom of 5, but I'm 'finally' able to take the time to write about our WONDERFUL experience at Newton Nissan. I began looking for a vehicle, the beginning of 2016. suitable for my elderly parents. After checking out several different makes and models, we(my mother!)decided the rogue would best fit their needs. So, my search began! I checked out dealerships online, called dealerships, as well as went in person. I can assure you, I did my homework because this was for my precious parents who deserved the best, yet had a limited budget to work with. Newton Nissan was the last dealership I thought I'd "check out" to see what kind of deal they could offer, compared to the others I'd already been to, so I would finally have my "homework assignment" complete...therefore being able to make an intelligent decision based on my findings, comparing all the different dealerships. Well, I wondered if Newton South might be different(in a good way) than other Nissan dealerships I visited, just from their website alone, giving personal(relatable) information about their dealership and employees. I then called Jim Yeargin to get specific directions, as I don't have a gps and was told incorrect directions by well-meaning friends. He greeted me when I arrived and when talking to him and walking in, there was a "definite" difference I felt than any other dealership I'd dealt with(and remember, there were many!). I went to his office and told him my story..."I'm here on behalf of my parents, they've decided on a rogue, I've gone to many other dealerships(having papers from them and my notebook with my 'homework' in it)and this is my final dealership to come to before making my decision" etc.. Well, he was SO kind and patient, listening to my(my parents!) needs and then left to get the best price they could offer me, and to my amazement, they truly gave me a great price right out of the gate!!! I couldn't believe it as that was NOT my experience with the many other places I'd been, it took much more time, and back and forth haggling to get a price worth considering! Needless to say, I knew by the sincerity and genuineness of Jim, the welcoming atmosphere of the business upon entering, along with the fact that I was given a price without all the haggling that I'd grown accustomed to, that THIS was the place my parents were going to purchase their new rogue...which, by the way, is the first time they've EVER had a new car in their 79 and 81 year old lives!! I was SO thrilled for them...yes, I cried!!..all tears of joy! You must know that Jim took GREAT care of us and is a man of his word!!...(which is thought to be rare in the car business). When I had to call back about bringing my dad to do the purchase the next day and had to get a few details worked out, Jim wasn't available to come to the phone as he was with a customer, I ended up talking to Dan who was also WONDERFUL and very caring, as well as personable(we southerners appreciate that!!) He had to deal with a bit of a glitch and told me he'd get back with me. In less than 10 minutes, he called back just as he said he would, and had taken care of the issue, making it happen. I was already a happy customer but was made even happier!! Who does that?! Newton Nissan South does!...specifically(in my case), Jim, Dan and Joel(in finance, who made the whole signing of ALL the many places on the paperwork a fun experience!). There was NEVER any pressure by anyone, which is rare in car sales, and was such a welcomed surprise that just hugely added to my entire terrific experience. A place that's warm and inviting, that you're greeted by all upon entering, and is sincere in ever way...doing everything they say they're going to do from start to finish!!Newton Nissan was almost an hour drive for this busy 'mom of many'!..and for my elderly daddy too...however,(if you've read this far, bless you!!), THE DIFFERENCE IS WORTH THE DISTANCE!!!! I "guarantee" you'll feel the same way too!!

Purchased vehicle On Saturday 4-23-2016, air bag light was on before purchased. Left dealership, then returned and dealership was closed because it was after 7:00 pm. Wife called salesman, he arranged to meet me at my office the next business day. Left me a new Pathfinder, took my vehicle and the repairs made, fill up tank ( only used a little under full) did another car clean up, and returned to me at my office. I did not have to use the the Pathfinder, but it was at my office if I needed it. Also after business hours we had Josh Hensel who was just locking up, sat with us in their parking lot checking on our NEW vehicle and talking with the salesman. Both very nice.

Easiest car buying experience we've ever had at a dealership. The only thing I did not like was that we received a flyer in the mail showing discounts, etc that we liked and that were similar to other dealerships, but this one was close to home. I read the small print, and it said nothing about "friends and family discounts" or being required to finance through Nissan. When we got there both were required for those discounts. I asked why they sent these fliers out to the general public and was told "well, a lot of folks out here have friends or family that work for Nissan, so..." They still got us the price point we were insistent on, the payment we were insistent on, and financing through Nissan was much easier than our past experiences with dealerships. Overall the flier became a small issue, but worth mentioning, and we will go back to this dealership in the future. Our first new car in 18 years, and they did an excellent job! The service was excellent, we were not pushed, and we were asked what we wanted. My husband is a no nonsense "this is what I want, don't try to come back with anything else" kind of person, and I think they sensed that because they didn't. Ron was awesome, and has been on it since we got there. He's called to check on us and stands behind what he sells.

Jared was prompt to answer my inquiry on the internet search for the Nissan Armada we had been looking for!!He had the car ready for us to test drive on our arrival to the dealership. Everyone was so nice and accommodating as we had driven in from Tuscaloosa AL. I would recommend you make sure it's not Mules Day weekend as we couldn't fine a room anywhere and ended up sleeping in our car.Several people at the dealership said if they had known we didn't have a room they would have "put us up for the night". My experience was not ideal, but I was well taken care of when a problem arose. I thank Michelle for that. They did not fix my AC and when I took it back tried to charge me again to fix it. The first time I turned on AC it made a hissing sound. I immediately turned it off. Unfortunately due to work it was a couple of days before I made it back there. Told them my AC still was not working. They said they would look it over and call us. They called and said hose now blown and it needs a new one and it would cost $200+ additional dollars. They said that the hose wasn't shown to be bad when they serviced a couple days ago. So they want me to pay $200+ dollars on top of what I already paid them to fix my AC. When they returned the car to me the AC did not work. I just picked it up because it seems like they are trying gouge me. Ac still does not work...so I am not happy whatsoever with their service and in addition I am out a couple hundred dollars.

These guys are on top of it. I shop on line and had mostly decided on the new Nissan Rogue. Sent in an inquiry on price and Brooks was on the phone within 15 minutes. The next day my husband and I arrived without appointment to find Brooks with a customer, but Dan quickly hooked us up with Chris who took excellent care of us. The entire process was a pleasant experience. We had not planned to do so but left with a new car. Chris took us for a demo ride and went over all the features in great detail (twice to make sure I got it!) as if he had all the time in the world. This was a great experience. Even though they didn't have the car that I wanted in stock, they sent 2 people to go and get it. I feel that they will do whatever they need to do to help their customers.

I was in a pretty bad car wreck that resulted in a totaled car. I had just purchased the aforementioned car 4 months prior and hated the idea of having to go to another dealership and play the "jump through loopholes" game. However, I can say that I experienced none of that at Newton Nissan and got the best possible deal for my 2013 Nissan Altima SL. I can't say enough good things about the experience and especially want to single out Brooks Lehmanfor being wonderful to work with. Brooks was able to get my family, we have two small girls under the age of 4, in and out of the dealership in no time. I know that if it was any other location it would have taken four times as long. Again, I want to thank the staff at Newton Nissan for their exceptional service.

I bought a 2015 Nissan Altima and I could not have asked for a better experience. Jim Yeargin was so personable and made the buying process easy. This was my very first car purchase and I couldn't believe how easy it was. After buying the car Jim checked in with me several times to make sure everything was still going good and always asked if I had any questions. We also worked with Joel Marks and he was awesome! He throughly explained everything he went through and was easy to talk to. I loved the staff from the minute we walked in the door! I highly recommend this dealership!!!

Took our 2014 Murano in for first oil change at 5,000 miles. They changed the oil, topped off fluids, did a multi point check, rotated the tires and washed the car. Was very happy with the service and experience. Will definitely go back. Thanks!

I recently purchased a new Sentra and I greatly appreciated the great customer service I received from everyone I encounterd. Josh Hensel and Bill Travers took good care of me. I did not feel pressured and all questions were answered. On July 16 my seven year old grandson and I went on the tour of the Nissan plant in Smyrna. That was a most enjoyable trip. He still talks about it. If he gets to go again he wants to sit at the back of the tram so he will have more time to see everything. Upon our return to the dealership I spoke with someone about a vibration I was noticing when I got up to 70 mph. The staff checked the car and kept me informed about what they were checking and doing to my car.I do not remember the names of everyone I spoke with during my multiple visits to the dealership but they were all very professional. This is a combined sales and service review.

This is the third Murano that I've bought from this dealership, even though it has changed hands. They have always made me feel welcome, as an older widow, whether I was by my self or had my sons with me. We started the process back in December 2014 and placed the purchase on hold due to other commitments. When I contacted the Dealership in July 2015 via internet and told them I was finally ready we set-up an appointment for that following Saturday. When my husband and I pulled up the Dealership had the Altima in 2 colors (Storm Blue and Dark Red) waiting on us "cooling down". We took it for a about a 20 minute test drive. I was in LOVE!!! Once I made a decision on the color the rest of the process took about another hour. I drove home that day in MY very first brand NEW Nissan. I am an affiliate of Nissan North America and have had the chance to drive new vehicles but this was MY own Nissan that I did not have to give back!! Thank you to everyone at Newton Nissan South for never pressuring me and always asking if I had any other questions or concerns!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!

Because after going to Robert Nissan of Manchester the customer service was no good and was not out to help. Here at Newton customer service was outstanding and work with me as a Veteran to get me in the car that fit my budget and also not having the best credit they also help me with that issue. Had a good experience. Had not bought a new vehicle since the early 90s and did not like the idea of having to banter back and forth with salesmen. Wish that all cars just had a price marked, and that would be it. The people at Newton Nissan South respected the price I had gotten from TrueCar and the price was the price. Took all of 3 minutes to agree on a price and start the process. Financing was a breeze.

I picked out my color and looked at some options over the internet, so I knew sort of what I wanted. I went to the door of the showroom and was greeted by a very nice salesman. They had a car I wanted on the lot and I went for a drive. No pressure at all ! I had been to another dealer weeks earlier,that took too long getting me an " out the door" price and I even left,with the salesman calling to give it to me hours later. Not here !! I got a terrific price, beating the other dealer and with their almost paperless giant computer board in the finance room,, I was out of there soooooo fast !!! If you don't want to feel like your at a closing on a new home, I highly recommend Newton Nissan South !!!

There was absolutely no pressure or sales tactics used here! They had a great product at a great price, and they let it speak for itself. I test drove my truck three times before buying, and they never once pushed me to buy! They let me drive the truck and leave twice without buying or pressure to buy. Dan Goguen helped me choose the perfect car & Johnny Moss worked on the financing. They both worked on the financing actually because it was hard to get me financed but they worked nonstop to get it approved!! Excellent communication. Talked to Dan Goguen by phone on AM 1/5 on advertised 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. Price and vehicle was what I was looking for. All vehicle conditions and options were explained by Dan. Ron has forgotten more about cars than most salesmen ever know. He knew everything about the cars and found exactly what we wanted. We would recommend him to anyone wanting to buy a car and needs to work with an honest salesman. He will not attempt to sell you something that you do not want or would not be exactly what you need. Rarely does one find such ethical sincerity in a sales person. Call Ron and get the best car deal of your life.

We purchased a 2012 Nissan Altima on November 8, 2014. Yesterday (11/24/14) the check tire pressure warning came on. I had to put air in the back passenger tire twice. Late yesterday afternoon, I called and spoke with Dale in the service department. He told me to bring it out there in the morning (11/25/14). When I woke up this morning, the tire was completely flat. I called Dale and he came to my house, changed my tire using my spare and then I followed him back to the dealership. They checked the tire but couldn't find anything that would make it keeping going flat...but fixed it, put my spare and everything back in place and had me going in about 45 minutes! I truly appreciate Dale going above and beyond by coming to my house and changing it to my spare! He was truly awesome and I really appreciate his help. I will definitely tell everyone I know about my experience!

My experience at Newton Nissan was an outstanding one. Service on my Nissan was done professionally and in a timely manner. There was a lot to be accomplished on my car and because of employees like Mitchell Roberts my 2007 Nissan was brought up to operating standards and my car runs great. Every organization needs employees like Mitchell because he knows how to make people have a pleasent experience even when your car is not running great. I'm sure Newton Nissan has a lot of outstanding employees but I'm going to ask for Mitchell Roberts when I come back next time because of his knowledge, professionalism and because he is a people person. Buying my new Rogue at Newton Nissan South was great! Lou Frobish was very friendly and informative. The negotiating was fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend Lou and Newton Nissan South. I bought my last Nissan there in 2010 and have always had all of my service done at Newton Nissan South. The service dept is excellent also. You won't find a better dealership anywhere.

I had a wonderful experience. working with Dan Goguen. . I never felt pressured and he was very kind, knowledgeable, and patient , He did a great job and thanks. He even called to assure that if I ever need service on the car to give him a call and he would assist in getting this scheduled. One thing that really stuck with me is he assured me that the service did not end when I walked off the grounds with the car. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had! The sales man was very professional and went out of his way to me with everything I needed. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. The quality of the vehicle I purchased is more than I could have asked for. The Sales man was able to find me a vehicle that had more bells and whistles than I thought I could afford. Not to mention, it is also my favorite color. Bill Travers went above and beyond to help me in the sale of my new Nissan Pathfinder. He was friendly and personable, he made the whole experience great! He took time to show us how all the amenities the vehicle had and how to operate them, gave me his number and told me to call him if I had any questions. He also called me about 2 days later to see how I liked the vehicle and if I had any questions. That made me feel comfortable about the purchase of my car. At a later time I came in to get my car serviced with Dale McCall he also took great care of me and made sure I didn't have to wait long. This dealership is fantastic. We have bought around ten cars from Newton in Gallatin, and they have always gone above and beyond. Josh Hensel and Johnny Moss are the best! They were the reason we returned to this dealership on 1/18/14. And just like last time, the purchase process was professional and enjoyable. We went in considering a used 2013 vehicle and left with a new 2014. There was no pushy salesman tatics, just honest answers to our questions. And we had a lot of questions. WIth Josh's help, patience, and product knowledge we were able to come to the decision the 2014 model was a better choice for us. I left this dealership feeling like I had made three new friends..Dan my salesman, the general manager and the finance manager were absolutely the best. Very friendly, down to earth and eager to help. I have bought many cars in my lifetime and I have to say this was the best experience ever. I went to Shelbyville because my daughter bought a car from the Murfreesboro Nissan dealer and was treated extremely poorly. She is gettting ready to buy another and will only go to Shelbyville. She, as well, was impressed with the quality of customer service.
