This was the first time I've been to the service department since the new facility opened. It is an amazing place and the staff is quite professional and knowledgeable. I've only been a customer at Nielsen for one year and I was very surprised to find that one of the staff members actually recognized me by name! It is a good feeling to be recognized and acknowledged!

One of the best experiences I have ever had with a car purchase. No nonsense. Showed me what I wanted to see. Alex was very respectful of our time crunch during our initial visit and did not try to keep us there beyond our short availability. This lead us back a few days later. Along with some help from Eli, we walked out with a great deal on a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Negotiation was pleasant. Communication was excellent as well.

Brought my car in for an oil change and a tire rotation/balance. What a beautiful new drive through and they gave me a free tread depth sheet on my tires and explained to me what it meant.The service was done onetime and without a hitch and the high speed balance they did was perfect and my Jeep rides beautiful. It's nice to know they invest in the dealership to give me a great customer experience.

Ended up shopping only. Was genuinely interested but went with a competing brand that offers CPO leases with truly unbeatable terms, due to the CPO element. However!.... Having head an exceptionally bad experience at another dealer (Route 4 in Paramus, NJ) I was jaded against the Chrysler brands sales channel altogether. In returning an expired lease (2014 Grand Cherokee Limited) Nielsen was a logical choice due to proximity. Duane, (and Bernadine) was truly pleasant to deal with. During negotiations as part of business, I never -not for a single second- felt or suspected that I needed to be watchful. The Nielsen team's character becomes evident after walking the showroom for a few minutes, as is the customer servicing attitude of the support personnel. Both suggest that the culture permeating through the ranks in this business is one of integrity and respect for its members, passed on not only to its paying customers but as my experience suggests, to its shoppers as well. Thanks again guys.

I just purchased a 2017 Jeep Cherokee with the help of Joe Alfano. Joe was able to get me out of my current obligation on a BMW and got me into the exact car that I wanted. Joe provided several options for me whether financing, leasing, etc...and was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy whatsoever. Based upon my experience, I'd recommend Nielsen and Joe Alfano, in particular. I also received a tour of the new service center which came out very nice. Very pleased with the overall experience.

Purchased my car here and took it in for 6k mile tile rotation and oil. Left it there for the day. Upon pick up, I noticed my tires were not rotated (I had a unique scuff mark on 1 tire from the day before and the tire was in the same place.) I questioned it to Jennifer and she said to come back when the service was open again because she only knows what they tell her. I came back and she said they'll get it in for a rotation. I asked if they can provide an explanation as to why it wasn't done the first visit and she seemed dumbfounded that I'd even ask. In the end, I got no explanation for having to make another trip out there but they rotated my tires quickly as I requested (Otherwise it would have been 1 star for Jennifer instead of 2). My observations: 1. If your car is brand new, they'll the cut corners on the routine/preventative maintenance. I'm now questioning if my oil was even changed. This is a management/supervisory issue. 2. I'm enrolled in the Jeep Wave program which gives me 5 free oil/tire rotations. After this last visit, I'll be going to another dealer to gladly pay for my service and have the confidence it's being completed. My family's safety isn't worth whatever corner-cutting is going on there.

Just picked up a new Jeep at Nielsen. My sales person was Joe Alfano. He made the process simple and easy. None of the usual sales tactics that other dealerships use. He was fair in the negotiation and kept every commitment he made regarding the sale. I dreaded going into the finance managers office but even that was painless. I was dead set against getting anything extra but after talking with the finance person, I selected a warranty program that made sense, I made the decision, and was not pushed into.. Nielsen Dodge has in my opinion, the worst service department ever! When you bring a vehicle there its like going into the Bermuda Triangle, it goes in and you never know if it is going to come out. Calling for information is just as bad, you leave a message for the service advisor and that message gets lost never to be seen again. So when you call back you dare not leave a message so you have to wait on hold for your service advisor since you know that they do return calls. When they finally pick up the phone, they still dont have any answers. The have to check with a mechanic but he is either out to lunch, paperwork is lock in his tool box or their dog ate work order. Excuses, excuses, excuses that all they are good for. Do yourself a favor and bring your vehicle to another Dodge dealership for service. I was so frustrated that I called the service manager and its been almost a whole day and no return phone call. Thanks Nielsen! I will do everything in my power to go somewhere else for service.I had to bring another truck to this shop. What a mistake!!! The truck has been in the shop 21 days again. When I spoke to the service advisor last week she said it should be done on Friday. Of course I did not hear back from her or anyone with an update and now its Tuesday. This is my second call back today and no one answers in the service department (service that's a joke, it should be the "no" service department), finally the call just drops.I am literally am banging my head against the wall. NO ONE ANSWERS THE DAM PHONE HERE!!!!!!!!!! AGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. LAST TIME. I just wish I could give negative stars.

Anthony Dangelo helped me finance my Honda Civic and he was great! I'm only 22 with not much credit history besides student loans and no cosigner. But he did everything he could to help me drive off the lot with my new car and I couldn't be more thankful. Without him, I wouldn't have a car! After I bought the car, there was a minor issue with the tire pressure sensor and it was a hassle and a lot of rescheduling with the body shop to get it fixed. Because of this, I couldn't pass my inspection so I was driving around with no inspection for almost a month! When I went to pick up my official plates, I asked Anthony if he could help me get my car fixed that same day since I live far from the dealership and didn't have an appointment for over another week! He managed to squeeze me in without an appointment, he guided me to people he knew would assist me, and I was in and out in under an hour! He really goes out of his way to give his customers the best service there. I'd give him a 10 out of 5 if I could!

My sales person Peter Goettlich handled my sale and there were no surprises. They quoted me pricing and explained the close of the vehicle and everything went smoothly. Peter provided the education on the vehicle and covered all the bases so when I left I was in complete control. He made me feel I made the right decision. He offered further assistance if needed and I left with a strong feeling of confidence that I was in good hands. This was how I felt after the experience I had with Nielsen's on rt 10 East Hanover, NJ. This is my first brand new car and I love it. There was a slight problem with it so I brought it to the service dept. I understand the wait time for scheduling an appointment, but when the problem doesn't get fixed and the vehicle is returned to you with a scratch and dirtied, you should be able to rescheduled right away and have these issues remedied. I felt like I had brought my puppy to a really bad day care. The staff doesn't give you the confidence that they know what they are doing nor do they treat you like someone who is of value to their business.

Service Department does not return calls. Left two messages for Manny, service manager and he did not have courtesy to event return any of my calls. My car was at the dealership for several days for the repair and nobody calls back with the status. I made several attempt to contact and if I reach Roland he never had any answer about my car. They DON'T CARE!!

Today I leased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. The purchase of the vehicle took a tremendous amount of time and required my wife and I to spend hours in the dealership. After finally finishing up the paperwork, I took the car home only to find that the button to automatically close the trunk did not work. I immediately drove the vehicle back to the dealership. When I entered the dealership requesting to speak with the salesman that sold me the car (Anthony Dangelo), I was told that he was on break so they found me another sales representative to speak to. This new sales rep walked out to the car, looked at the problem, and told me to drive around back to the service department. I drove the car around to the service department and it took about a half hour to find someone to come and fix the problem. The service department was able to fool around with some of the wires and eventually fix the problem. There are several reasons why I am upset with the way this situation has been handled. As I am writing this review, the salesman who sold me the car (Anthony) has STILL not reached out to find out what the reason for my return to the dealership was. In my opinion, Anthony should have immediately followed up with me to make sure that everything was OK with my new purchase. I also feel that since the car was BRAND NEW, I should not have been told to drive the vehicle to the service department. One of the employees should have had that taken care of immediately. No one should drive home with a brand new car and have to return to the dealership ten minutes later because something is not working properly. What upsets me the most is the fact that once Jeep had made this sale, I was no longer treated as a priority. The mechanical issue with the car now became my problem, just minutes after purchasing it. This was very poor customer service and it was extremely disappointing to have an encounter like this occur.In addition to the problem with the trunk, I have just realized that my car is not fit for a license plate in the front. Because I live in NJ, I need both a license plate in the front AND the back. Again, I am going to have to make a trip back to the dealership so that they can resolve this problem.I am extremely disappointed with not only the mechanical issues with the car, but also the very poor customer service I have received after the car was purchased when attending Nielsen Jeep in East Hanover, NJ. I will surely not be returning, nor will I be recommending this dealership to others.

I found Nielsen after looking for a car in 2014. After a few negative experiences elsewhere I decided to drive to East Hanover and try NielsenVito Carenza was the salesmen I met first. Right away I felt comfortable. Not once did I feel he was just doing the "SALES" thing. Long story short I leased a Jeep from him. Since then I have been using their service dept and again not disappointed. Service is a huge plus, without that and without a positive experience there as well I would not return.Now 2016 Leased my SECOND Jeep from Yes Vito. I am thankful I found this dealership and ignored the pleas of others to never use the dealers service center. These guys are fantastic. My car always feel like it's a new model when they're done and they don't fleece you. Too often I've shown up with my non-issue and they pat me on the head and send me away advising me to return when there's a real problem. I know my brakes would have been serviced and "rotors cut" way more often than would have been necessary with another shop. Roland and Kathy do an excellent job in the front office. I gave facilities a n/a since they are under construction.

I made an appointment 1.5 to 2 weeks in advance. I bought my vehicle in on the 23rd before 9am. The service writer Erin, seem to have an attitude when I dropped it off (first flag and I should have went to the other service writer who received the great reviews). But, I gave her a chance. I was told that I would receive a call later on and she stated that they might not get to my vehicle that day which I didn't understand. But I was leaving town to go on vacation so I didn't think it would be a problem, but was I in for a shock. She called me before the end of business day and said she assigned it to a person and he would be getting on it first thing in the morning. So no call on the 24th. I called the morning of the 25th, and she told me they were waiting on my warranty company to send out a rep to inspect my vehicle. I found this very odd when I wasn't informed of anything nor gave an oral approval. So I called my warranty company and they said this wasn't true and they found it odd that I didn't get a call first. So I called to speak to the manager Manny, who told me he would look into it and give me a call back. No call at all from him. So I called Mrs Erin, back which I got her voice mail. So my fiance called and asked for Manny, which I spoke to him via 3way and asked him what was going on and why didn't I receive a call back. He said he forgot and he will hit me back in 15mins. I waited an hour and I called back and demanded my vehicle. Which this is now the 27th. I would never recommend this place to anyone and please STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!

Great experience! Was looking for a new jeep wrangler unlimited and decided to stop by Nielsen. They had a huge selection and I got a good idea of what I wanted exactly. I delt with Anthony and he searched their inventory. I was very particular with what i wanted and unfortunately they did not have it. Anthony tried his best to locate what i wanted but still couldn't find it. he insisted on me just putting a special order in to get exactly what i wanted instead of settling with what was on the lot. so I put my order in and 5 short weeks later my jeep arrived! This is my first Grand Cherokee and our salesman Bill Daley is the best. He is a true professional in every sense of the word. He answered all of my questions regarding the car, explained to us everythingand I did not feel pressured at all. Purchased a "certified preowned" 2012 Charger recently on a friday. Prior to a test drive, I inspected the car. Within minutes, I find the hood release is dangling down by the ebrake pedal, coolant was barely visible in the coolant overflow, and the oil dip stick had been broken off in the tube leading to the motor, along with several scratches that werw half heartedly touched up. Decided to test drive the vehicle anyway. Had a "rubbing" sound at low mph to the left, and the wheel was off to the right but pulled left. We strike a deal anyway as I was promised everything would be taken care of. I inform the salesman that I want the coolant topped off prior to leaving. I leave the car there for about 2hrs to handle whatever issues they had to take care of, and finish paperwork. I received the car with nothing done, and find the fog light out. I take the car for the weekend as is. I arrived Monday with a list of issues, A/C not working, drivers headlight and fog light out, alignment issue, vibration at highway speeds, and the previous issues mentioned. I leave with a loaner for 3 days. When I returned, there's still no sign of coolant, and the rubbing issue continues, along with the headlight going out again. Back for service again for the headlight and alignment. All is done and as I'm handed keys I'm handed a pamphlet for body work. The tech accidentally scratched the front bumper while being serviced. It happens, but what else am I going to run into at this dealership? It's apparent the certified preowned work done on the car wasn't thorough, and had many issues sitting on the lot as if they hoped the waxed black paint and shiny chrome wheels would suffice and keep the new owner out of their hair. Well, out of 11 days of ownership, it's been in for service for 4. I received the car back, and now the heated/cooled cup holders don't work. Minimal, but they were working prior to the delivery for service that day. So now I'm left with body work and a few other things that need to be taken care of. This dealership prides themselves on NOT being a car wash and oil change type of dealership, but that's basically what I got for a price they wouldn't budge on. For a car that was "certified" it sure does have a lot of issues and the dealerships quality of work is questionable at best. I've called twice and asked for the dealerships general manager to return my call to no avail. What I did get was the body shop manager (I assume). That doesn't suffice. Yesterday I received a call that my registration and license plates that were transferred from my trade in are available. Today, the plates are no where to be found. Still waiting to hear back from them. So here I sit, waiting to schedule another appointment, questioning the dealerships competency. I'm hoping to have this car handled properly over the next few weeks and never have to go back for any serious work. My father planned to purchase a new durango here, but no longer will based on the reviews on here and with my personal experience. Hope anyone that reads this takes this as a lesson learned and it helps them make an educated decision when purchasing their car from this dealership.

This was the 1st dealership I've been to and didn't feel pressured. They're very straight forward, to the point ,and let's make a deal type negotiater. All the employees there made you feel like you've been there since the beginning. I wish they were closer to my home! Anyway, a little bit pricey, but that was the situation I incurred over time. My apologies I don't remember all of the employees I dealt with, but they were all very helpful. Thank you.

I have been a jeep owner for over ten years and currently my family owns 4 ('12 '14 and two '15s). All regular service and any repairs are handled by Nielsen. The service staff is knowledgeable and polite. Technicians appear to be well trained and competent as I have had no instances of misdiagnosed issues nor needed to return for incomplete repairs. I also have not experienced any "upselling" by the staff. They are good at giving a heads up that tires, brakes, or other wear items might be nearing a change which I find helpful for budgeting the cost of repairs. Facilities I rank only as Good because Service is currently housed in a trailer while a major renovation is being completed. Give it a month or two and Nielsen will be 5 star across the board.

Walked into Dealership and was warmly greeted and was asked how I could be helped. I asked if Lexi was available and was told she would be free soon and to help myself to coffee. A year ago I was interested in the new Jeep Renegade and Lexi had helped me with a test drive and discussed the particular packages and options for it but I wasn't really ready to buy at the time. After a few minutes Lexi came to help me and immediately recognized me and remembered all the details from a year ago. After another test drive she informed me of the new features of the 2016 Renegade Limited and sked me what options,packages and colors I was interested in and then was able to give knowledgeable and professional advice that helped me with my purchase. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I randomly stopped in a few months ago and met Peter Goettlich in the parking lot. I typically try to avoid salesmen when i visit dealers to just browse, but i quickly learned Peter was not your typical salesman. What a nice guy. There's nothing more off-putting than looking to buy a new vehicle and being constantly pressured into making a deal. Buying a car is rarely an easy decision and there are a lot of things to consider. At Nielsen, we never felt pressured to make a decision and honestly, it made our experience great! I traveled 90 min. to Nielsen Jeep just to rule out a vehicle (I had already set up two good deals at my local dealerships). Mr. David Goettlich offered me a deal on a new "leftover 2015 Grand Cherokee Summit" The vehicle was sitting there for 3 months. I test drove it and liked it. Then he gave me the keys and I test drove it myself to make sure everything was as it should be. My trade in was valued higher than the Jeep especially with the great deal they offered me and Mr. Goettlich had a check waiting for me. They were all very courteous, very knowledgeable and I would definitely return to purchase another vehicle when the time comes. I am very satisfied.

When I called for a 25,000 miles service on my Jeep, the person who answered the phone was very pleasant and willing to help. I called in at the end of the day but she made room for me for the next day. Time was important to me since I had to go to a medical procedure the next week. When I showed up the next day, It was no mistake, the level of customer care and satisfaction that this crew provided me it was unbelievable. I had purchase several Jeep models trough the years, but this people stand behind their products and regardless that they are going trough a mayor renovations the human part of the crew is out of this word. I'm very satisfied and I highly recommend them. The dealer and Service Crew both compliment into a class AAA.I have to give a 3 stars to the facilities because the are under repair, but the people there make a big difference.

My experience at Nielson was great! The entire staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and my saleswoman was wonderful! She (Lexy Elder) went above and beyond for me, to make sure I got to see the Jeeps I wanted, and Then worked hard on finishing a lease deal I could afford. My previous experience at RT. 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Little Falls will NEVER come close to this. In fact, that's why I didn't return my original lease to them and went to Nielson in the first place! I'd never go back to RT. 46 again! I would highly recommend Nielson to anyone looking to purchase or lease a vehicle. My only complaint, is that the dealership building itself is a little bit outdated looking. Otherwise, Nielson provided exceptional customer service, had a nice selection of vehicles, and did their best to make the experience as painless as possible. I highly recommend them to everyone!

I went to this dealership to possibly purchase a ProMaster as well as a 3500 Dump mason. We went to talk about availability as well as possibly a test drive. When I first walked in, I was finally spiked interest in the sales people when I mentioned possibly a 2 vehicle purchase. When a salesperson came to me by the name of Nick, I thought maybe this was gonna be a worth looking into. Then we spoke to him about our wants and needs. We were than told that we would need to speak to a commercial sales person, the original salesman "Nick" went to speak to his sales manager. Nick continued to go back and forth. He would disappear at times and then come back, but still without a commercial sales person. I asked him to let me speak to the sales manager. After saying that he finally comes with a commercial sales person. I asked the gentleman if he was the sales manager, he stated no that he would help us with the commercial sales purchase. It took me asking for the sales manager to get a commercial sales person?! I finally spoke to a sales manager out of the 5 or 7 that were supposedly there and all I got was... well sorry about that but I can help you out now. A whole 1 1/2 hour later. This dealership lost out on one hell of a sell. If you are a commercial company looking for vehicles, DO NOT GO HERE... I was told they really don't do much...AND they have no commercial vehicles in their lot to look at or even test drive. It really was a waste of my time as well as my friends that were there to purchase.

I had recalls on my 2015 Chrysler 200 and when it was put into service, my Service Adviser Roland Maecha had informed me that I needed a new TRANSMISSION. It was at first discouraging since my vehicle had less than 10,000 miles to need a new transmission. But Roland being the consummate professional addressed all my concerns and provided me with a loaner for the duration of time and was able to waive all accruing charges. He diligently kept me updated on the status of my vehicle. You hear mixed reviews with service, but my experience with Nielsen had be a pleasant one. Roland epitomizes what a professional should be. I cannot say enough great things about the service I had received and attention I was given by Roland Maecha. I for one can say Roland is the BEST! Keep up the great work! I will be recommending anyone I have contact with that needs service to their vehicles and will 100% referring Roland as their Service Adviser!

I recently had recalls on my 2015 Chrysler 200 which is common now in the automobile industry, but my vehicle was less than a year old and having less than 10,000 miles I was told while it was in service that I needed a new TRANSMISSION which was definitely not what I had anticipated. Roland Maecha was and always will be my Service Adviser as long as I am a customer of Nielsen because he exemplifies the consummate professional in every way. Not only does he carry himself in a very patient manner, he diffused any concerns I had and gave me piece of mind. He constantly kept me in the loop and followed up routinely to update me with the status of my car. He definitely didn't oversell and under deliver. I had the loaner for 17 days and even though the vehicle was under warranty, they covered the vehicle and Roland wiped clean all accruing charges that came along with having the loaner. I now look forward to coming into the Nielsen Service Department no matter what the issue is, big or small, look for Roland, they don't get any better than him. He is simply the best!

The was my first time buying a new car and I was absolutely terrified. As soon as I walked into Nielsen's I was quickly filled with excitement and ease when talking to the manager and then finally Jon. Jon spent 7 long hours with me doing everything in his power to get me my dream car and it worked!! Not at any point did I feel I was a burden to him or anyone there, or feel as though Jon did not want to help me. He was such a great guy being honest with me in every step of the way! I recently purchased a new truck from Nielsen Dodge and this was BY FAR - the BEST ALL AROUND dealings I have had with a car dealership.I dealt with a gentleman named Greg through Internet sales at first who went above and beyond to assist me in my search and satisfaction with my price matching.I did all the paperwork prior to walking into the dealership and upon entering I was in and out in less than an hour with my new truck.Their financing office is state of the art, they don't hand you 500 copies of everything - nope, you literally sign a "desk pad" and they hand you a zip drive with all your documents on it. So much better!Everyone was nice, friendly, attentive and focused on making the customer happy. (Which you don't see everyday)

I went into Nielsen Jeep to buy a 2016 Patriot, and trade in 2 cars one of which was a lease with 23 months remaining. Nick quickly helped me through the process and told me we were very close to the price I wanted, a difference of about $25 a month in payment. However Nick and the finance crew found a way to get the payments where I wanted in a timely fashion. I went back the next day with both vehicles and within 2 hours I was on the road in my new Jeep Patriot thanks to Nick having all the paperwork ready to go before I got there. My Nielsen Jeep experience was effortless. I never expected to get my jeep after my previous experiences with near by rt 46 Jeep. Rt 46 jeep told me that this was impossible deal and I did not understand how car financing worked. However Nick and Nielsen found a way no problem. RT 46 jeep is full of scam artists and punks, don't bother wasting your time just go to Nielsen and see Nick.

It has taken me 13 years to for this day to come into a "Trusted" dealership and I might add Best Deal Ever" Phil Miranda made this happen with the callback on the perfect car for me. From the minute I went to the Nielsen Dodge website to completing all the paperwork I had a Great experience! When I first went to the website a had a few questions and a window popped up with an associate named Steven Rudnick who helped answer everything. When I finally decided to go in to make a purchase I was lucky enough to have Chris Damon as the sales person who talked me through everything, once we were finished I went to speak to Terry Martone in the finance department who made every as quick and painless as possible. About a week ago my brakes just suddenly stopped functioning while driving. Thank god my daughter was not in the car! I brought it in to the closest repair shop I could find. After evaluating my brakes, everything was fine. They told me it was a recall on my car and only the dealer could fix it. I called Nielsen Dodge of East Hanover, NJ, telling them my story and how unsafe I felt. They did not seem to care of my well being and told me they could schedule me a month out. The sense of urgency baffled me. Clearly not the response I was looking for. Then I called the next closest Jeep dealership in Morristown. They scheduled me right away and come to find out, it was a recall that was previously "fixed" by Nielsen Dodge, but installed incorrectly!!!! Hence why my brakes failed on me. One of the many reasons that I will no longer get my car serviced there.

I walked into the showroom to browse, not ready to commit to buying a car. I drove away a short while later with a smile on my face cause I just bought a new car. Peter made me feel like an old friend and was concerned about what I wanted in the car. After a couple of rounds of back and forth, Peter, Mike, and I worked on an acceptable price for both parties. The car was prepped and ready for me the following morning without a hitch. One convenient thing was the lack of hard copy paperwork. All of the paperwork was done electronically and saved onto a thumb drive for you to take home. Just a very pleasant experience overall.

I am hoping, however, after the renovations that operations are smoother and more efficient. 2 hours for an oil change was a little bit too much for me to rationalize as acceptable even given the circumstances.

MY PT Cruiser was purchased new at Nielsen Dodge Chrysler in East Hanover NJ. Like clockwork it's in the shop every 7- 9 months or so for not starting and draining the battery. They have ripped me off with useless repairs that didn't need to be made. They can see the problem, but just can't FIND it! Last time it was in, the service manager SWORE it was fixed, even though I was not convinced. The problem they said they fixed didn't seem like anything that I noticed was wrong with it. Now it's dead in the drive again. The last time it was in, the warranty expired while it was in the shop, not that it was ever covered, since they couldn't find the problem, they said it couldn't be submitted to the warranty company to cover. I've been stranded at the airport and at the cruise terminal which is always fun coming home from vacation toting luggage. I've spent thousands in USELESS repairs , tows, new batteries, and rent a cars for weeks at a time. Now 10 days after it died I'm still waiting for a call back from the service department. I called the corporate headquarters and got a claim number, but NO ONE calls back. I left a message for a manager today, did he call back... that would be a BIG FAT NO! Now talking to a lemon lawyer and plan to call Help Me Howard. Buying magnetic signs tomorrow to put on the LEMON to tell the world where NOT to go to buy a car! I also called a Banner Plane company to see how much it will cost to circle the dealership with a banner for an hour. Not as much as you think and I would get SO MUCH satisfaction! This dealership needs a lot of work on service. I don't even blame them for selling me a lemon, it's 4 years of NOT FIXING IT and not calling me back! Looking for more sites to write a complaint! Maybe I can get their attention this way. Rating is MINUS 10

Purchased my "cerfified pre-owned" 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from here about a month and a half ago. Within the first 2 weeks the power steering fluid was leaking all over the place. Went back to the dealership concerned & they couldn't take my car in for 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I brought the car in, have a voicemail from the service dept. saying they were replacing my power steering rack & cooler. My husband is a mechanic and took pictures of everything. We got the car home and saw a huge puddle of power steering fluid in my driveway, proceeded to check the work they did & found they did NOTHING. My car was there for 3 days, not one bolt was removed, the power steering rack WAS NOT REPLACED like they said. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!! I could not even get a copy of the service report when I picked up my car they said they'd mail it to me and now I know why...because they didn't do a xxxx thing. Now that I am trying to contact someone about this serious problem I can not get a phone call back from a single person. I will be going there to attempt to speak with someone in person since apparently they do not want to take responsibility for the work they didn't do. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY! I am very disappointed.

I recently visited the service department after leasing my 2015 Dodge Durango in August for its first oil change. I would have to say although they are in temporary quarters, the service was made in an efficient manner as well as an extra check into a small issue we had with the radio a few nights before. My car was returned to me clean and everything running smoothly. I will happily return for future services.

I went into see if I could trade in my car that I still had 3 years left to pay on my finance. It was getting up there in miles and I wanted to see if I could get into a newer model before having to pay out for an upcoming big service. Not only did Marc Pedevillano take the time to work with me, he gave me every option available to me and got my payments where I needed them to be. He was extremely personable and there were no gimmicks or "bs" from him. He was straightforward and truly wanted to help me out. I hope he is still there in 4 years when my lease is up! The Service Department at Nielsen Dodge Jeep rates a top shelf experience. They only got one less star because they're currently under renovation. But they always bring a good professional attitude and pleasant surprises. You know all those stories you hear about dealer service departments? Horror Stories? Nielsen is just the opposite. They're fair, they give you a heads up and build trust, something you rarely find in a dealer based service department. I usually work with Roland who I followed from another dealer, and he's as good as they get. I'm happy to find a trustworthy repair center for my jeep. BIG THUMBS UP.

Horrible experience!!!! I wanted to purchase a 2015 fully loaded all black Dodge Durango r/t blacktop edition through a dealership within my area who honored True Car prices. After personally searching dodge's inventory within a 200 mile radius I realized that there were 3 exact matches, which were all out of state. Jarretsville Maryland, 164 miles away and two in Massachusetts 184 miles away. I was contacted by an Internet salesman "Bob" who was very professional. He referred me to sales representative Nicole Mauro because I was inquiring about possibly having the vehicle shipped from Maryland to Nielson Dodge immediately and didn't want to build and order. That process would take 6 to 8 weeks. Nicole contacted me and told me that was possible but I meaning me the customer would have to pay a fee because two people from Nielson would have to make the trip to pick up the vehicle and drive it back. She also told me that the fee was at an overtime rate and I laughed and obviously declined this option. She said that she really wanted my business and then suggested a build, price agreement and then order option. She told me that she would build my exact vehicle choice and would call me back to discuss the price. This was the week of Thanksgiving and I haven't heard from her since. For customers who aren't aware of how long it takes to build your own car it takes 5 minutes. This is the third time a sales representative from Dodge neglected to follow through with this purchase. The two additional sales representatives were Ryan from Paramus Dodge and Joe from Decozen Dodge in Verona. I am moving on to GMC / Chevrolet to purchase either a Yukon or Tahoe. I am sure it will be a much better experience.

What can I say? It's NJ - they made me an offer I couldn't refuse!In all seriousness, they delivered on every one of their promises. Vito Carenza was a complete pro, but he didn't just 'push the metal'. Questions were answered, quotes given, negotiations were always pleasant with no undue pressure or the old "We got a lot of other interest in this car, so...". It was a pleasure to work with a team of professionals. I'll definitely return to Nielsen in the future, and Vito better be there!

Professionalism seems to be a thing of the past in so many businesses, but apparently is not lost at Nielsen. My Sales Rep, Vito Carenza, was true to his word, extremely professional, more than willing to work with the customer (me) to make car-buying (which is usually about as pleasant as a root canal) into a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely do business with Nielsen again, especially if Vito is still on the lot.

This dealership has shown to be nothing else but incompetent with the service department. Not only did I wait over two hours after having a scheduled appointment for an oil change. The car still wasn't in the shop for its oil change. I took my car and left. This is completely unacceptable to your customers.

I financed my 2014 Dodge Avenger SE w/ Blacktop Package back on Christmas Eve of 2013 at Hudson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram; however, as I recently started working in the East Hanover-area, I decided to have my vehicle serviced by the team at Nielsen Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. I found the Service Advisor Jennifer Scoscia, as well as the Service Technician, Mike Treschel, extremely attentive, informative, and knowledgable concerning the repair work that had to be done. They took the time to bring me into the service bay, and literally show me what needed to be done to properly correct the issue that had been causing the "check engine" light to illuminate upon vehicle start-up, including explaining the concepts behind what needed to be done. I HIGHLY recommend, with five-stars plus, the Service Team at NDCJR:)

Marc was introduced to me and my wife a few months ago, THANKS Amanda (another awesome person at Nielsen). Marc truly has the capabilities to listen to the needs of the buyer and works towards achieving customer satisfaction. We bought a new 2015 Cherokee for the wife this past summer and Marc exceeded our expectations! This time around I was in the market for a pickup truck and spent many hours traveling to various dealerships. I didnt want a full size truck like the Ram 1500 but after speaking to Marc on several occasions I decided to go visit him again - its always such a truly and genuine pleasant experience. We test drove the vehicle and talked for a while w/o ever feeling pressured or rushed to arrive at a decision. I almost left several times but Marc was able to assist in closing the deal to make sure my customer satisfaction was at a 10 ! If your ever around, Marc will always take the time to speak and educate his customers on the vehicles available on a truly honest approach. Bill and Nielsen made the process of buying my new 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited extremely painless. He came off as a very friendly, honest, and caring guy. I felt that he really wanted me to leave the dealership with the best possible price he could give me. He trusted me go take the test drive by myself which is a huge sign of respect for me and advised me to stay away from overpriced and unnecessary deals and promotions as opposed to shoving everything down my throat. We were inside the Nielsen building for a few minutes and had been about to leave when Jon noticed us from across the room and came over to ask if we had been helped. I drove away thinking that both sides were happy which is a nice feeling when trying to make a big purchase. I have seen bad reviews of this dealership and it's service center but don't understand why people are giving it these kind of reviews. The only thing I see is it is a very busy dealership and you have to be prepared to plan your service sometimes a week or two in advance. When you arrive at the dealerships service center they are polite and friendly. Inside they are the same polite friendly people you expect. They are professional which some people take as rudeness. I don't find this the case I see the professionalism but if you chat to them like a human being they are very friendly. The time it took to do the recall and the service was less then their stated two hours so nothing to complain about and my Durango came back to me the same as I gave it to them, clean. Thank you Nielsen Dodge and keep up the excellent service! Hope your building upgrades get done soon! lol

My biggest mistake today was not coming to Nielsen for my first stop for my purchase. I wasted time at route 46 and Decozen jeep. The salesman who helped me was Nick. He helped me in a first class manner. Nick was honest and did everything he could possibly do to get me into my new jeep and make me feel comfortable. I have been trying to get out of my lease for 18 months now but to no avail. My car is a lemon and continues to back and jolt and tries to find the right gear to get into. Karen and the others at the service center were very helpful, and treated me and my vehicle with the utmost care and respect! My service was done quickly and efficiently, and all of the service members greeted me and were very friendly. When I needed my windshield repaired, they called in an expert to make sure it was done well, and gave me an awesome loaner car to use while my car was in the shop. I originally bought my 2004 Dodge Durango here when its was Warnock Dodge and the help back then was good, Now it's 10x better dealing with Nielsen Dodge. My 2014 Jeep Cherokee was recalled for a software update and the service was done as promised and on time. The staff was courteous and kept me informed as to the progress of my service. The service department is undergoing renovation and the temporary facility although not what one would want was clean and offered wifi, coffee and tv.

I went in to trade my 2009 Jeep Liberty for a newer car. Ended up with a lease for a 2015 Jeep Renegade Latitude. It took awhile, but they seemed to be short staffed and there was a lot going on. My name is Frank Certoma and I recently purchased a Dodge Ram 1500. My close friend suggested that I visit Nielson Dodge and see Marc Pedevillano in sales. I was hesitant because I live 2 hours away in Long Island, NY. I decided to take the trip because this would be my first car purchase and I wanted to have the most stress free experience possible. I spoke with Joe on the phone and described what I was looking for. When I arrived at the dealership he had a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited pulled up front and waiting for me to test drive that was exactly what I described. No added expensive features I didn't need or pricey upgrades. He listened to what I wanted and delivered, right down to the color. It was a pleasure working with Joe. It was a nice experience. Sometimes it is difficult to get attention on the phone but once there they are good. We were lucky to buy our used on labor day and enjoy lunch at Nielsen and also to get a beautiful coleman kit with our purchase.

This is my second vehicle bought at Nielson. Both Trucks purchased I worked with Lexy Elder going thru the details and she both times brought me to the decision to make the purchase. She made it comfortable as well as showing me all the options of a purchase. She made sure it went quickly thru the process and did it very professional . I was very impressed with how proactive Bill Daley was. I stopped into the showroom when I was having my 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited serviced and started to chat with him. I mentioned that I was considering trading in my 09 for a new Rubicon Hard Rock. At that time they didn't have what I was looking for on the lot. About a month later, Bill gave me a call to let me know that they had one coming in (in the exact color I was looking for). Two days later I drove off the lot with my new Jeep. I was impressed that Bill remembered our brief conversation and gave me the opportunity to purchase the new vehicle before they put it on the lot for sale.

Great Dealership and Sales staff. Dwayne is great to deal with, and Vito was extremely supportive.Recommend highly. Just wish they would give you their bottom line sales price, including the % off invoice, rebates and incentives and look backs so that you do not have to spend time negotiating a final deal. Mark worked a great deal, I traded in two vehicles and they gave me a very fair trade in value. He even handled the insurance transaction for me. I bought a used vehicle and when I picked it up it was in show room condition. One of my neighbors stopped over to see it and he could not believe it was not brand new. They even gave me our first oil change for free. Mark never once pressured me to buy the vehicle. Thank you for a great experience!!!

Came in with intentions to just "look around" but then I was greeted with a warm welcome by a sales rep NICK! He was VERY knowledgable about the product which was a Jeep Wrangler sport and most importantly he made our buying process stress and hassle free !!! I was browsing the inventory when I was solicited with an online chat request to speak with Nicole Mauro. Nicole just tries to get you into the dealership and on the phone. The whole "internet thing" seems to be a bother. She asked me almost immediately for a phone number in case we lose connection. It's 2015 and the chat services re-establish connection without much trouble. Either she isn't aware of todays technology or she feels people aren't as savvy. Either way she shouldn't be working the online department. So after giving her my number there is dead silence for 10 minutes. I ask if she is still with me? 5 minutes later she responds with "Yes, I'm here. sorry" then my cell phone starts ringing from an unknown number. I am probably right in assuming it was her or someone from the dealership. I didn't give permission to call and we didn't "lose connection" So I didn't answer and then I responded with "ok" Her followup was "So when are you planning to come in to the dealership to pick out your cherokee?" I responded with "I thought I was doing that right now?" Anyways, If you think you can work out a deal with this dealership online (Like I have done so with other dealerships, DCH, Flemington GMC, ect, etc) don't bother. They are pushy online I can't imagine how they are once you get into their dealership.I will look elsewhere.

The team at Neilsen Jeep were very accommodating to my every request and question. They were able to answer many of my questions over the phone and text and that made my time spent at the dealership efficient and productive. This was my first visit with my new truck - the overall service itself was good. I chose to wait during the work (oil change, tire rotation, recall work on the entertainment system). I'm please with the work they did but there were a couple issues. First the courtesy shuttle really needs to slow down in the parking lot, the guy nearly took my door off as he sped through the drop off area. Second the free wifi in the customer waiting area is dreadfully slow - my cell service was faster and we're talking AT&T here.

I actually bought my Jeep Overland elsewhere. However, I brought my Jeep to Nielsen because I was dissatisfied with the service at another dealership. Roland became my Service rep and he is excellent!! He answers all of my questions, is responsive to my time schedules, and is extremely helpful in explaining what is needed. He is the reason I will stay with Nielsen.

Everyone was so friendly from the minute I walked in - staff not even related to my purchase made me feel comfortable and welcome. But the best was dealing with Amanda Chevannes. Her level of proficiency and personal care was one I had never experienced at a car dealership before. Not just the show of being "another sale", but sincere attention and interest. It took just two test drives and she already had a good feel for my needs and likes. Amanda then proceeded to conduct the rest of my search for a vehicle with great care and attention to everything that was important to me. Once I decided on a car, her professionalism and proficiency made everything go smoothly. Before I knew it I was behind the wheel of my gorgeous new car and on my way. I highly recommend Nielsen to anyone who wants to be treated the right way!

I had never shopped at Nielsen Dodge before; however, I had attended an event there back in the Spring. I had a good feeling once I met some of the salespeople. Since the lease was almost up on my car, I decided to go and visit with Alexandra Elder to see what Jeep had to offer. I told her I wasn't really ready to "buy" yet, but wanted to just do some research on the Jeep Compass. She assured me that was fine and would have a Compass ready for me to test drive when I came in. I'm one of those people that needs to do a lot of research before I make a purchase and therefore felt I knew a good bit about the Jeep Compass. During the test drive, I had a number of questions which Alexandra answered completely and concisely. No matter what I asked, she knew the answer and was also very educated about competitive cars and how the Jeep compares with them. When we got back to the dealership, we talked "numbers". I told her I was trying to reduce my monthly payment and realized I'd have to get a "stripped down" model, but the cost saving was the most important thing. She came and sat next to me, grabbed my hand and said "don't worry, we'll figure something out that will make you happy". Well, that was the understatement of the day! She found a wonderful Jeep Compass for me that is far from stripped down and yet has a monthly payment less than my previous car. "Lexy" was professional, understanding and knowledgeable. She handled everything for me and made the process seamless and pleasant. The experience from the greeting at the front desk when I arrived, to the handing over of keys was wonderful! I will definitely be recommending not only NIelsen, but Alexandra as well. Thank you so much!!!

Most of this transaction took place over the phone and I hadn't come into the dealership or met Bill until the day I picked up the car.I ordered over the phone an SRT Challenger on 7 15 15 with 2k down. Was given a VON on 7 16 15 and a VIN on 7 20 15.The car was delivered to the dealership on 8 12 15 and I picked it up on 8 14 15. Maybe the stars were in alignment or what have you but a I had my new car in under 4 weeks.I want to say the phone was answered when I called, and if I had to leave a message my call was returned and all emails were returned promptly.It really was as good as it believe it could be from dealing with financing and signing all the paper work to interacting over the phone and finally at the time of pickup with Bill.I would certainly recommend Bill and Nielson Dodge to anyone in the market for a new car.Regards,Patrick

I've heard many things about the pressures that auto sales people put on possible customers. On top of that, the details surrounding the actual purchase aren't explained properly. Never in my mind did I expect both to be totally incorrect when I sat down with Amanda Chevannes. She totally respected my auto needs, asked about family, friends, faith, and did everything possible to ink the purchase. This was my first auto purchase at Nielsen and I walked in not knowing what to expect. But, if/when I ever purchase another vehicle from Nielsen again, I totally Amanda to be my sales person.Thank you, Amanda!!!

Just a routine 15,0000 service. was quoted X, after they actually checked the car and looked at parts they told me I was good to wait till next service on certain parts. Saved me about 200.00. Feels good to know that a mileage number doesn't assume you get slammed for everything, if they take the time to actually check things over.

we stopped using "Warnock " service years ago because of a number of unfavorable service experiences. The latest visit ,for two recalls, was required due to the need to return to the agency from which I purchased my truck. It was a very satisfactory experience . I have not used the service dept. for routine maintenance so it is difficult to draw conclusions except to say this visit was handled well.
