My salesperson was Keith Powell. He was so helpful and made buying my Rogue a very smooth process. Everyone has been so nice, everyone speaks to you when you come in and are more than willing to help. I took my car in for the Diamond Ceramic coating; Jessica in the Service Department acknowledged me right away and was ready for me. I was given a loaner to use for the day. The cashier who assisted me with the loaner was very nice and helpful. She took me out, pulled the car out and made sure it was ready to go. I can’t say enough good about everyone and everything at Nissan of Elizabeth City, an awesome experience all around.

Jason spicer was truly fantastic, he’s very down to earth and truthful he doesn’t try to sell you anything you don’t want, he was fantastic at explaining everything my car does stuff I never even heard of!! Mary Hassell is the best auto sales person I have ever worked with purchasing my vehicles. I purchased my 2019 Frontier from Mary and decided to trade in for the 2021 model. Without any hesitation Mary got me the truck I wanted along with the price I needed to stay in my budget. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Never pushy or make you feel uncomfortable during your purchase. Getting my vehicle serviced was always quick and easy.. I was in & out quickly every time with no surprises at check out. Hands down Anthony Shanks was the best salesman that I have ran across when purchasing vehicles. He kept me informed and provide very knowledgeable information about my Rogue. Anthony took time to over the entire vehicle to make sure I knew how to work everything. Also has followed with me till this day to make sure I have enjoyed my purchase. I visited the Nissan of Elizabeth City websitei on Friday, October 21, 2016 and inquired about a used car. I was told that the car had been sold 10 minutes earlier. I filled out an online credt app and after calling again to talk with a representative was told that my appllication had been received and that a manager assured her that despite my poor credit score and owing money on my trade-in they could work with me and get me in the range of only payment I needed. I scheduled and 8:45 am appointment on Tuesday, October 25. I was punctual, the representative was not. The sales staff began arriving around 9:00 am and without any explanation to me they all huddled around the sales desk for a pep talk. I walked out and was stopped by a staff memeber, asking to to wait. They had my keys so I had no choice. I left with no new or used car. There seems to be a lack of communication between staff members. I would have never gone there if I hadn't been assured that they could help me.. A waste of my family's time.

I recently purchased a used 2013 Camaro LS from this dealership. I booked a test drive appointment using my cell phone. They were very quick to reply to my request for the test drive appointment with an actual person contacting me via text message to confirm a good time for the appointment. Upon arrival at the dealership I was greeted with very friendly staff. The dealership was very clean and everyone who I interacted with was very respectful and pleasant. My sales person, Hal Chappell, was ready for my test drive as soon as I showed up at the dealership. Krystle was very helpful also in answering my questions and setting up my test drive. Jimmy was very quick to get the paperwork together and got me the best interest rate possible on my loan. I was very pleased with the excellent service I received from Hal, Jimmy and Krystle. The entire process of trading in my car for the Camaro I wanted was very quick and hassle free. I was in and out of the dealership in under 3 hours with the car I wanted. Best car buying experience I've ever had! Thanks to all of you for your help.

Once again I am a delighted, happy customer! Took my new Rogue in for "first time" oil change and the service was wonderful. I have worked with Mike ( Horne) on several occasions and really appreciate his expertise. He knows our family Nissan cars and trucks and genuinely cares that we get the best info and options. My job as a Fleet Manager puts me in touch with maintenance shops on a daily basis. Nissan of Elizabeth City has one of the best service departments hands down. Liz, Amy and Mike in the service department are great to work with. I can drop off vehicles and they work me in very quickly. They have a great team of technicians and personnel. We deal with Hal Chappell as far as sales. Hal is a great guy who is very knowledgeable and just a pleasure to deal with. This is my first Nissan and I was very impressed with the service, communication and professional treatment my wife and I received from the service Department of this dealership! We were kept informed at every step of the repairs and were very comfortable in the waiting lounge. Not only was the service manager Mike Horne terrific but the cashier Rae also made us feel special. I only wish our dealership back home has the same level of service. We are now loyal Nissan followers and will probably drive down here from Virginia when we purchase our next car. Very well pleased!

This is my 2nd car purchased from this dealership. I am very happy to say I have been very pleased with the service I have received and continue to return to get my car serviced at this facility. On today's date I was helped by Mike Horne and he went through the list of services my car had received so far, and the recommended services. I do not like to think about what is needed when I come in to get my car serviced so I am very glad they keep up with these things because I definitely don't. My tires were rotated, oil changed, and a complimentary wash. What more could a girl ask for? Thank you Nissan of Elizabeth City for meeting and always exceeding my expectations!

I purchased my car in 2011 and just recently started having problems. For the past couple of months my car was hesitant and I knew that something was not right. I had someone at the dealership ride with me and they kept my car twice to figure out the issue. Each time they found nothing wrong. I was on my way to work when my car suddenly wouldn't move. I had it towed to dealership and they let me know it was my transmission. They expected me to pay 2500 since my car was no longer under warranty and I will not because it is their fault they couldn't find any problems with my vehicle. I tried to tell them something was wrong with my car and they kept reassuring me that it wasn't . I will never deal with Alliance Nissan again or recommend anyone to them.

I really had great experience at the dealer the ladies was very helpfully & the manger Tim was wonderful he was very helpful to deal with Toyota dealer in Elizabeth city was awful always wanting to give you the run around. Also every time I call Alliance Nissan (Angela Ferebee) always goes out of her way to help me ...I brought a Toyota Tundra from Alliance Nissan & from now on I will only go there..They stand behind you for everything.. UPDATE: This took place about a month after my initial complaint:One of the owners of Alliance Nissan contacted me about a week ago. Right from the start, he told me that this matter just came to his desk and he sincerely apologized about no one contacting me sooner. After several conversations over the week, the owner and I were able to talk the problem out and completely evaluate both sides of the situation. We were eventually able to come to a resolution to the problem which I am very thankful for. The professionalism of an owner/manager to call a customer, apologize, and right a situation goes a long way.Original Complaint:My wife had purchased a Nissan Ultima from a used car dealership where we live. When she received a service recall, we had to take the car to this dealership. While there, we decided we would look into upgrading her vehicle, so talked to a sales rep on different pricing. Of course, they went through the usual nonsense that dealers go through trying to up-sell the entire time.My wife wanted to have a few more upgrades in the vehicle, but keep her loan amount the same, where we would pay a cash different for the various extras. After five hours of going through this dealership's nonsense, they finally gave us an offer for a used vehicle which had a number of nice extras to the car. The monthly payment would be $5 more and we had to put $3,000 down. We then had to wait another hour while their loan officer got the paperwork ready.When we sat down with the loan officer, he handed us paper after paper to sign, where AGAIN, I reiterated that I just want to make sure the loan is the same, and I was assured it was.So now a month has gone by and I received my first car payment and see that the balance due is almost 18k as opposed to the 13k that my wife's original balance was. I THEN LOOKED INTO THE PAPERWORK TO SEE THAT THE DEALERSHIP CHANGED MY LOAN FROM A 60 MONTH TO A 75 MONTH TERM LOAN WITHOUT TELLING ME THIS!There were a number of other minor issues we encountered with the customer service, but this is, by far, my biggest issue.

Bought a pre-Owned Vehicle - Nissan Xterra (AS IS) with issues not disclosed ; , Vehicle had bad ac unit (not cooling, bad sensor) bad "U joint" , CD player not working. on top of that car was dirty when i bought it (inside, outsite look good) . Of course all these I found out same week I bought vehicle.Same week i bought vehicle I had to move to florida due to military orders , once I got to pensacola FL, took my xterra to a local nissan dealer which i have papers that shows diagnostic on vehicle done by Sandy Nissan in pensacola. and a cost of $1600 (parts and labor) to fix it all.Spoke with the service manager on alliance nissan and he was willing to take care of issue , but the Sales manager Junni Harris was not authorizing the service because they had to pay $1600 to another NISSAN DEALER in pensacola.the Sales manager was not willing to work with me in any form at all , I tried to work with him , I even asked just for the parts and I would have pay labor Only . But instead he was rude over the phone and he keep stating that I bought a vehicle " AS IS" that only had a 1,000 miles warranty . and that he was NOT resposable for fixing vehicle , I bough this car from him straight , I paid FULL price on sticker to the penny ($13,500) I paid what they are asking for , and this is why im writing this review, On top of that I had to bring vehicle back the very next day for an issue related with the gas pump . which they fixed. who wants to buy a car straight from NISSAN dealer with issues ?? this is the 1st time I ever had any bad experience on NISSAN DEALERS , this manager really have no clue what customer service is , even worst he never apologize for the issue. its a SHAME, he has a really good friendly staff working for him. I endend up paying all $1600 out of my pocket. So Really save your self hassle and dont buy from this dealer , At least not while this manager works there.

As a woman looking to purchase a used vehicle, I was very concerned about working with a dealership. Hal Chappell was the sales associate that helped me. He really listened to what I wanted, (which was not originally a Nissan), worked on what I could do with my budget, and there was absolutely no pressure to make a decision until I was ready. I actually needed to rent a car in the meantime, and the young lady on the phone was friendly and nice, and the process of renting the car was a breeze. During this time a Nissan Rogue came in with my budget and mileage specifications in IMMACULATE condition. Still, no pressure. The finance department made the application process simple and fast, Mr. Chappell was so helpful in many ways and did i say NO PRESSURE? Courtesy, consideration and friendly faces seem to be staff requirements as I worked with several staff members in finance, test drives with other sales associates, the rental department and the staff in service. I have been employed for many years in hospitality and customer service industries, and the management and staff at Alliance could write a book on providing excellence and consistency in every area of their business. Two thumbs up!

Ms. White was an excellent sales person. She was soft spoken, kind and knowledgeable of what she had on the lot and she let us take our time without any pressure ( like one gets at many other dealers ). Once we made the deal, she got the paperwork done as quick as the others would let her get it done. She is a very good sales person. Beverly Pritchett is one of the kindest person I know. Always explains what/why services to get done and is a great asset to your company. I have been very happy with her over the three years so far. Thats why I keep coming back cause of her. I speak very highly of her and AJ . AJ took time to come explain to me what was going on with my car. You don't find people like them two!!! Please know they are hard working and great employees!!!!!

I have given this rating because I visit this dealership alot because of the people being so friendly. I even stop in when I dont have service for my car. These people make me feel like a queen when I go in. They acknowledge me and my presence each time I'm in there. I love going in there talking with each and everyone. There are big heads or little heads that I cant talk to. Everyone is willing to help with whatever problem that needs to be addressed. I recommend others to this dealership all the time!! I love them all.

Why did we purchase from Alliance, Paul understood what my wife and I were looking for and at what price. We drove two hours to purchase our Ford Flex from him. Paul took care of everything. Would recommend him to family & friends without a doubt. Would like to stress Paul understood and proformed at a top level on making sure we were happy with our purchase.

i have a 2012 nissan froniter,i started truck thursday and exhaust was very loud.called dealership and they sent tow truck right away to pick truck up.i rode with tow truck drver from outer banks to elizabeth city.when i arrived, the dealership had loaner truck ready and gased up for me to use.i needed truck to work.they replaced exhaust monifold and also noticed the truck battery had cap missing from it.dealership took care of all issues.when truck was repaired they had someone deliver truck to the outer banks to me ,which saved me 2 hours drive time.also my truck was washed and vaccumed when i got truck back.they made a bad day very nice for me.i can not think of anything they could have done any better than what they did. five star service *****

I cannot express how impressed and satisfied I am with both my purchase and experience at Alliance Nissan. If you go anywhere else before going here, you are wrong and will miss out on a great deal. The best and smoothes transaction I have ever had buying a vehicle and anything for that matter. I showed up interested in a Titan. During my quick test drive they looked over my trade-in. By the time I returned my test drive they gave me an estimate on the price of the Titan with all factors considered. I informed of the price I was looking for and within ten minutes they had the numbers where I wanted them. All this will no hassle, drama, or bs. The sales, sales manager, and finance manager knew the answer to all my questions and where not just professional but friendly. The detail crew in the back did an outstanding job cleaning the vehicle. I now have a brand new Titan that is exactly the truck I wanted for an amazing price. When I am ready to buy another vehicle, it will probably be a Nissan and will absolutely without a doubt be at Alliance Nissan. I highly recommend anyone wanting a new vehicle stop in, I promise you that you will thank me.

Needed to have the service engine soon light checked. It had come on once before about 4 months ago, service center that worked on car could not exactly solve issue, they checked with other Nissan dealerships in Denver, Colorado, but no one could give us a definitive reason why light came on or exactly what it meant. Center cleared code and light went out. Returned to North Carolina when light once move came on. Took to dealership, they ran a diagnostic test. They also consulted with Nissan as again there were two possibilities, one replace the censors - very expensive, or reboot computer. Based on recommendations it was determined the best thing was to reboot and there was nothing indicating in the Nissan system that censors should be replaced. Rebooted, light went away and everything seems to be fine. They took the time to explain the options to me and recommended the lesser expensive option based on what they had learned from Nissan. Everyone was very helpful and took the time to explain each and every step and detail that was necessary to bring this to a close. Great bunch of tech's and Kayla was terrific in the way see put me at each and filled in the blanks for me. Would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who owns a Nissan.

I came into the dealership very hesitant due to really dont like salesman cause it's there job to sell yes but dont like pushy ones. My sister helped me out and introduced me to Sales Manager William Turner, I was harsh cause didnt want to be duped into a bad car. Mr Turner and Mr. Whidbee were great, helpful, and SUPER NICE. I have been smiling ever since I drove off with my 2012 Nissan Altima. Everyone raves on the car and I have always recommend anyone to Alliance. They are great people at this dealership and I am very appreciative of them. My self, mom & sister all got our cars from Alliance, 2- Altima's and 1-Versa. See William or Terrance.

I called last minute because I had the morning off and needed my car serviced, Beverly was wonderful, she told me to come on and she would work me in, on top of that when the car was finished I remembered that I had forgotten to tell her I needed it inspected; no problem she took care of it. Beverly is always upbeat and friendly and ready to take care of things and get me back on my way as soon as possible. The guy that worked on my car was very good as well, his name was George.Thanks Nissan for hiring the kind of folks that seem to care, rather than just doing a job.

I drove an hour to this dealership due to an online ad for a vehicle priced at just under 4K. This was after emailing the dealership for more information, one question being, "Why is the price so low?" The emails I received left price out and invited me down to test drive the vehicle and trade mine in. I even received an email that I thought was directly from a salesman.Upon arrival, I was informed that the actual price was not as listed on the dealer's website or Autotrader.com, but actually 12K more. Even after informing Herb that I wasnt about to enter that price range, he afforded me the chance to change my mind with a test drive with negotiations afterward, if I liked the drive. Sure, why not, right? Before the test drive, I noticed some chips in the paint. Another disparity between what I saw and what was advertised. The posting explained, "The paint on this Titan LE is flawless; no scratches, no blemishes, no need to spend extra money on touch ups." With chips so deep in the paint that I could see the undercoat, not the glossy red, as well as a thumb print size touch up spot on the hood, I would not say there were no blemishes. Test drive went very well, with Herb directing me to the type of roads I wanted to drive on, and allowing for a long enough drive that I could actually get a feel for the truck. He was very courteous in allowing me to listen to the truck motor and road noise while driving. Even though I saw him holding on a couple times, he never complained. So we get back and I check the underbody. Decently clean, with some dry mud caked up and a little rust. Nothing compared to what I would expect from a 2004 truck that had been played with on occasion. Herb and I sit down to talk about numbers and my trade-in. Very generous for the trade, I will admit. It was previously appraised about $250 more than what Alliance would give me, but I was expecting that as well. My primary accolade for Herb was his eagerness and willingness to work with me to come to an agreement on a figure to get me out the door in the Titan. However, that brings me to my biggest complaint, second to the $12K disparity in price. After Herb and I come to an agreement, he talks to his manager, William Turner. Mr. Turner comes to the desk to talk to me about the offer. He flat refuses it, telling me that he cant go more than a hundred or two below the $15K price tag, and even going that much lower would be done begrudgingly. Next he tries to get me to finance. When I inform him I did not want to get into the $15K price range for a 9 year old truck, he tells me he is sorry for my time and offers to get me the keys to my car, telling me to call him if I change my mind. Now, I am not the best negotiator when it comes to auto buying, but I do know that to get to an agreement, you do have to flex a little. When the sales manager simply refuses to go more than $200 off the asking price of a 9 year old vehicle, negotiations are going to be hard to even enter into. I would love to have gone home with the Titan, but I am sorry to say, the biggest obstacle was your stonewall of a sales manager. I found it hard to believe he would so easily disregard all the time and effort his salesman had put into the sale, allowing the two hour round trip for me, to be a complete waste of time.

Since we moved to Elizabeth City in 2007, we have purchased 2 cars from Alliance. We also have a third Nissan which we purchased before moving to Elizabeth City. We have used Alliance service since we we moved here. Over the pass two years we have been service by service person Beverly Pritchett. Beverly is the consumate professiona. Not only is she extremely customer friendly but she is adept at listening and solving our problem. I have never had an encounter with Beverly that left me less than 100% satisfied with the outcome. Because of her, I would highly recommend you service department to any of my friends and associates. She is truly what a customer oriented service person should be. A great car-buying experience. John was helpful without being pushy, informative without being long-winded. We weren't sure when we started that we really needed a new car (our old car was beginning to have mechanical problems). He showed us the advantages of buying a new car and, in particular, the specific model that we were looking at. He patiently answered all our questions and worked hard with us to come up with a deal we could afford. We would definitely buy another car from him.

Currently called Alliance Nissan. We purchased an 05 Altima and they have been nothing but nice. Our only complaint is with the speed at which her trade was paid off (which was rectified when discovered) and the speed at which additional parts were ordered (due to an error, they did not know the correct color part to order, but this was rectified as well). I would recommend this dealership to anyone. Be prepared to haggle a bit on price and possibly "find" a salesman if they are busy but other than that, you can rest assured they will help in any way possible.
