Dante Quinones is a model salesman. I enjoyed doing business with him, because he did not pressure me into a sale. I felt very comfortable with him. And I felt assured, he definitely had my best interest at heart. I brought my son with me to assist with negotiation, he does not trust car salesman. Within a few minutes he relaxed, and was comfortable with Dante. DANTE IS A BLUE RIBBON KINDA GUY!!! He represents personal integrity!

As always, the customer service is stellar! Emily is awesome and is super helpful, and seems to know everything that goes on there~ in the best way. She was kind and helpful to a new front desk employee ( a guy who was super friendly and great too) and checked on some parts I had inquired about concerning a minor recall. All service expenses are transparent and there's never a surprise charge or upsell. I love that the paperwork will list recommendations for my car. There's never pressure here to add something to the service. I love this place and would highly recommend!!!

My experience was THEE best experience I have ever received at a car lot!!!! I was able to talk to Dewey, Sale Manager and Dante, Sales Rep about what I wanted adn how much I wanted to spend. We didn't waste time looking at cars that were out of my price range. That I really appreciated!!!! Dante worked with me through the process of picking, the application and even after I got the car, his customer service making sure I was okay with the purchase is unmatched. I recommend Nissan of Portland but more importantly, Dante is THEE best salesman I ever met. I don't think calling him a Salesman is the right title for him.... Nissan of Portland gets 5 stars and Dante gets 10 stars from me!!!!

Recently took my 05 Quest in for routine service (tune up/brakes/alignment), check on a couple of lights that were on and to check the drive train after recent repair with another company after hitting a curb and breaking the tie rod. I could not have been more pleased with this service!! They did all of the diagnostics we asked for, called back with a price and had it completely repaired and running perfectly the next day. Additionally, they didn't charge us for diagnostics or the rental we used during the 2 days that they had our vehicle. No nickel and diming here. All of the staff here are very nice, professional and helpful. This place is what we all hope for when having our vehicles serviced. Honest, worry free and as budget friendly as possible. We will definitely be returning here for our future car care and maintenance needs. Thank you Bob B for making this an easy and painless experience!

I had the best experience ever for a car deal at Nissan of Portland. Jared Cunningham was excellent at follow up. We visited there in November and December to look at cars. At that time we were not able to purchase. Jared was very patient and called after that at regular intervals to see if he could help. When we went to purchase a vehicle Monday January 26 Jared was not available so I was referred to Nick. Nick did a tremendous job finding the exact type of vehicle we wanted. Jared came in that day (his day off) to say "Thank you." Also, Ashley in Sales was great and Tony in Finance really helped with getting us a great deal on a service package and finance rates for our vehicle. We have worked with Service Department at NOP since 2003 on our old Nissan Xterra. The Service Team of Thinh, Emily, Courtney and Nikki have always been pleasant, friendly, clear at communication and did their best to get us a discount on large scale service items. I originally inquired about the price of a vehicle NOP posted online. After deciding it was a little out of my price range, Chris assured me that they could work with me on a price that I was comfortable with. I came in to test drive the car. I was not bombarded by a group of salesman, but Kiwi walked up and politely introduced himself. He set me up with a test drive and was very friendly during the entire situation. One thing that I really loved about NOP was the fact that you're not huddled off to a room and told to wait inbetween negotiations. All the staff is in the same room as you so you can see the "behind the scenes" without the shady "be right back". I ended up walking away with a payment that I was very comfortable with and on top of it, I got a 3/36 warranty and oil changes paid for 3 years!

I bought a 2012 Nissan Frontier from this dealership a year ago and have been happy with them and the truck since day one. I have owned American and import cars over the years so I know how stressful it can be to buy a car. I shopped around for a truck a long time and I continue to love my 4x4, crew cab, v6, Frontier. It performs flawlessly and the price was as reasonable as a new automobile can be these days. Everyone at Rustom Nissan of Portland have been terrific. The young man I bought the truck from was new to sales, but was courteous, enthusiastic and competent. The sales manager did try to add some products to my sale, but I don't object to a dealership trying to make some money wherever they can. The nice thing is that I told the sales manager and finance officer that I wasn't interested and they left it at that--without attitude. But seriously, you can't blame a business for trying to increase every sales dollar they can. They are trying to make money after all. Barnaby, the finance manager was professional, upfront and honest. He didn't argue about the trade-in for my Subaru Outback (since I did my homework through Kelly Bluebook) and agreed to my trade-in price without fuss, but did verify my car did have that value. During negotiations, I asked the dealer to include: rubber mats, tow package, fog lamps, tonneau cover in the purchase price. Without a grumble all of that was included and installed at their cost. Did I get my truck cheap? Nope, but I did my research and I believe I paid average market price. Another dealership across town tried to stick it to me for a Frontier with far less options at a higher price. They also had attitude about my list of added options I wanted in the truck they wanted me to take. Of course, Rustom Portland of Nissan did have a challenge installing the tonneau cover (they had never scene the one I had them order), but they were upfront about not understanding the installation process and resolved it by contacted the lousy dealership for advice. Within an hour it was done and we all had a good chuckle. Nobody's ego got in the way of doing what was right for the customer and the sale. For my trouble, Thinn (the customer service manager) insisted that I accept some VIP service and amenities whenever I bring my truck in for service with them. A year later, the entire staff treats me like a member of the family. Why? Because they have repeated to me a number of times that they want to be the top dealership in the area; that's their mission. They seem to do that whenever I get the oil change or new car checkup for warranty protection. So, when my wife returned with me to finalize the paperwork, Barnaby and his staff didn't stress us out and make us feel like yuck as the papers were signed and my credit union wired the balance due. I'm sure they wanted me to finance with Nissan (or their bank), but my credit union terms are just too hard to beat. Again, Barnaby had zero attitude about it. My wife didn't walk out with me feeling like a lowlife because we didn't just do whatever the sales and finance department said. My wife was as happy as I was, and she hates to buy a car or any big ticket item. I have been back to the dealership 3 times now for service and checkups and have had zero problems with the truck or the dealership. I am always greeted with a friendly smile. I really believe that the service technicians, sales people and managers enjoy their work (and each other) there. I never get a vibe that the staff are on edge, angry, disgruntled in their jobs. I'm sure it is still stressful, but there seems to be a genuine approach to making things as best as possible. They are there to sell cars and make money. It's just refreshing given how much money is involved with cars and transactions to buy one. So, given what I know about Rustom Nissan of Portland, I have no problem giving them this review they requested by letter to my house. They earned it.

I am from the coast and had not received notice of a serious recall (not this dealership's fault!) and brought my car in. They treated me with humor and kindness and we all realized that they would need to keep my car overnight. But due to my job, I could not return for three days. They loaned me a brand new Juke (my same car but newer) and never said a word about my keeping it longer than the requested 48 hours. They fixed the problem and treated me with respect and not like a "dumb woman" that we women sometimes get... Thrilled with the repairs and service and kindness. Want to buy another Nissan from them just to get the good service! Ha! But would not go anywhere else for sales or repairs!

Yes, this is a car dealership and they want you to purchase a vehicle. However, I never felt pressure to buy a vehicle and Kiwi and Nick made sure that I was comfortable with the vehicle and the payment plan I chose. They worked with me to make sure that I was happy with the entire decision making process and I have to give them a lot of thanks for their patience with me. I highly recommend going to Nissan of Portland to purchase a car. I worked with John Pazz and Kiwi to find the car I wanted at a price I could afford. Between the two guys my experience here was awesome! I have purchased a new car in the past and it seemed like as soon as I signed papers the sales guy didnt want anything to do with me....Not at Nissan of Portland. After I signed the papers, Kiwi took me around to introduce me to the maintenance shop and even helped me unload my old car and put things in my new car. I felt like a rockstar with the amount of attention and customer service I got here. I highly recommend going to see John or Kiwi! You will not be disappointed!!!!

We want to travel a little further abroad in our pop-up camper these days... with a little more power & comfort. So it was time to upgrade, and we decided we wanted to buy "new". (We're still driving our first "new" vehicle; a 1996 Nissan XE 4x4 King Cab). We took out time reviewing all the pros & cons of different styles & makes of trucks on the Internet, and decided to stick with Nissan. We shopped online looking for the model, color, and price that we wanted, and checked dealership reviews to get a sense of integrity (hopefully)... we appear to have found both at Rustom Nissan of Portland. The staff seems friendly, informed, low-key and supportive of each other too... a refreshing sense of teamwork. And our salesperson, Allwyn, exceptionally so! We drove away with a new Nissan Frontier. The rebates, add-ins, and price cut made purchasing a new truck attainable.

Car shopping and buying is about as much fun as cleaning the toilet, so when I decided to trade in my car for another used vehicle, I "sighed". I scoured the Internet for a week prior to my escapade and had a list of 4 cars that I wanted in order of my favorite. I ventured out on a Saturday and my first stop was Nissan of Portland. I parked and found the car I wanted. I opened the door and the inside smelled good. Then a very nice man - Miguel - introduced himself and he smelled good, too. Always a plus when the Used Car and the salesman do not smell like cigarette smoke. I was happy. We got into the car and started the test drive. I started asking Miguel my list of questions and he was REFRESHINGLY HONEST and said, "I don't know as much about Toyotas, I will answer all the questions I can and then will get some help with the rest of the questions at the dealership." That honesty will bring me back to this dealership again and again. The negotiations are usually the most painful part of the car buying process. Miguel's manager came out - Pete. I had a certain price that I wanted for trading my car and they had a certain price that they wanted to give for my car and sell their car. It is always the ping-pong match. But this time it was different. I said, "Pete, I am a rock-star in the credit department...you give a little and I'll give a little and let's get this done." Pete was great and didn't even blink - and said, "You got it." I was thrilled and I'm going back. Best dealership I've worked with in 10 years and they're getting our business again. Thank you!

I have a 1996 Nissan pick-up with 133,000 miles. I have worked with their service department for many years in regards to major services and repairs. For several years now I have them do the routine 3,500 mile service, because I find them to be honest about what repairs and maintenance services I really need. We go over the service inspection results and we talk about what needs to be worked on now and at a later date. I like them giving me a heads up about things that will need to be done at a later date which is really important, because I have a fairly high mileage vehicle. Sometimes I have them do the work and sometimes I go elsewhere, because of cost or my established relationship with another service provider specializing in things like brake/tire replacement. The accuracy of their repair estimates is good. If they find a new problem they will contact me or wait to tell me after the original repair work is done so we can talk about where I go from here. Timely maintenance and repair saves me money in the long run and I want this vehicle to last many more years to come; the service department and I are working as a team to help make this happen.

I have been a customer of NOP and their service shop for a few years now and there are many reasons for that! I bring in all of my Nissans including an '01 xterra, '94 pathfinder, and an '04 pathfinder to NOP. They do incredible work and are HONEST. My cars are running so great after each of the services NOP performed on them. I have had everything from oil changes, to brake flushes, power steering flushes, 4wd services, and even major mile services done at NOP and I have zero complaints. You are treated and welcomed like you are family, or at least the way family should treat you and welcome you ;). Thinh and Nikki do an awesome job and make me laugh!... Which is super nice because getting your car serviced isn't always that fun but they make it that way. There is no pressure on you and they make you feel at ease. I also have a Volvo so I know how frustrating service people can be, pushing unnecessary services on you, making you feel like you have to do what they say or else your car is doomed. I had spoke with Thinh about this concern, as well as Nikki and they took car of me. I could not believe how Nikki went to the extra step for me when I wasn't even getting a Nissan serviced. Nikki went ahead with getting the specific parts I needed for my Volvo and my car was ready in no time. She is such a sweetheart and saved me $200! I definitely recommend NOP if you want quality work and amazing customer service.

After going to Nissan of Portland several times recently; for a variety of repairs, it would be irresponsible of me not to let everyone know how absolutely wonderful, and consistent, along w/ a great deal of honesty and competency the service department has! Initially, the service department provided timely oil changes and scheduled maintenance on our Nissan Xterra. When warranty work was needed, Nikki provided timely and accurate information on what was needed, how to proceed and made the whole process simple and straight forward- Nikki was EXCELLENT! From there, we've had the timing belt changed, radiator replaced, and more scheduled services done. Nikki continued to communicate well, explain what was recommended and confirmed what was done w/ no surprises at the end. Nikki was EXCELLENT! The value that the service department offers was re-enforced recently when another vehicle was in need of service. Having gone through an independent repair service, then to two dealerships in the area- it was decide to go to Nissan of Portland Service Department. Based off their abilities w/ the Xterra and the trust established by proven past performance of the service department. Once again Nissan of Portland Service Department handled the situation professionally and fixed the Volvo successfully- even w/ the master mechanic going over the process before the work was even done. Also, I might add. When a part came in for the Volvo that appeared to be damaged, the mechanic/ service department did not hesitate in sending the part back. (shows to me they insist on doing a quality repair) Again, throughout the whole process, Nikki was EXCELLENT! Nissan of Portland Service Department is a group of people who are straight-forward, competent, professional, and nice people, very willing to service your Nissan vehicle, AND, even on occassion a Volvo! Thank you Nissan of Portland Service Department! Thank you Nikki! YOU are EXCELLENT! P.S. Your handwritten "Thank you" notes after each repair are appreciated)

I recently leased a car at NoP, and had a fantastic experience. I was shopping with my two young sons, who unfortunately were not perfectly behaved, but the manager, the sales rep and the finance person were all very accommodating and understanding. More importantly, everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly and helpful. I test drove several cars and asked lots and lots of questions, all of which were answered clearly and thoroughly. This is especially great because my transaction was somewhat complicated--I had a trade in on a lease and was thinking of buying or leasing two cars-- and all along the manager helped me figure out options and was creative and helpful in working through possible scenarios. And, I love my Altima! In short, NoP is a great place to buy/lease a car.

After 5 hours and dozens of dealership visits, I happened to pull into NoP because a car in the lot caught my eye. I was shown a car in my price range, but it wasn't ideal. The hardest part was that my dream car was sitting right there! The price was JUST out of my reach, but after a little bit of 'car-salesman tease', Kiwi, the very polite and no bs salesman, took the time to work with my credit union and was able to meet my very low number. The entire process only took a couple hours and I was so happy to be leaving in my ideal car, which, ironically enough, was a Hyundai.

We recently purchased a vehicle through Rustom NOP. My husband and I had such a fantastic experience! We knew exactly which cars we wanted to look at but we when we walked in, understandably, we were prepared and dreading the high pressure sales tactics. To our surprise and relief there WAS NO HIGH PRESSURE SALES TACTICS! Our salesperson, Jimi Hays, was courteous, professional, and pleasant to work with. He showed us the cars that we asked to look at, and after test driving, we made our decision from there. Seriously it couldn't have gotten any easier than our transaction. Barnaby, the Sales Manager, worked with us to get the purchase price down to where we needed it to be. Absolutely one of the best car experiences we could ever wish for!

Ive owned my Elantra for 8 years, and it's served me well - but it was in need of major repairs. Instead of wasting my money on it, I decided to upgrade, and I found a 2011 Altima that had everything I was looking for in my next car. It was an easy buying experience, I got a great deal, and I couldn't be happier. This morning I needed a couple of easy service fixes, and they had everything done super fast. I went to test drive the 2012 Altima 3.5SR just to make my future father-in-law happy, and had no intention of liking nor buying a Nissan. Kiwi (Steve) was so great & low key. He showed us the car, and instead of trying to hard sell me on it, he just let me look around and play with the tech package, then drive it. He's obviously very knowledgeable, but really let me guide the appt, which was a very fresh change from the annoying salesman we had at the prior dealership. I respect someone that respects me enough to let me decide on my own. By the end of the appointment I was 100% sold, and my fiance was talking me down! We still had to check with friend who knows another dealer...but I was so excited when they got back to us & said no way can we beat that price and I should stick w NoP. So, I went full circle from humoring someone else to driving away my perfect car, all with the help of Kiwi and the rest of the folks at Nissan of Portland.

My salesman Evan was a pleasure to work with. He took time to explain everything about the car and has followed up with any questions I might have.. Evan's specialty is the Altima, the car I was interested in, which was a nice bonus for me. The whole staff was great and I didn't feel pressured. It was like being in the hands of a well-tuned group of people working to help me buy my new car with as much ease as possible. And I LUV my new car!

My wife and I had a very very refreshing car buying experience with Rustom Nissan of Portland on 122nd Ave. Larry, the fleet director, and David the sales manager, were both great guys and we didn't have to go through headaches of haggling, and other b.s. I recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a great car. Ask for Larry or David, for sure. I know, right?

Gotta give it up for Ammar, Pete, and Romano for putting up with me during my parents car buying experience. I know for a fact that if you are a car salesman I can probably be your kryptonite. These guys were completely patient with me throughout this process. My parents are both retired so I had to look out for my parents best interest at heart. Gave them what my parents wanted in a car and what my parents bottom line was. I told Ammar to go ahead and give me a call whenever they were able to meet my parents needs and within a few hours I received a call from him telling me this was something feasible. I'm always reluctant about a phone call as it could always be a ploy to just get me in so the next morning I decide to look at the competition and see what they were able to do. Was totally put off by the sales person at this other dealership as he was already demanding that prices are as is. Told him I worked in the car business as just small talk and he quickly starts backtracking what he was saying. Went and had lunch with my folks and during lunch got a call back from car salesman at the other dealership telling me he was willing to work with me. I gave him the price that Nissan of Portland quoted before we had left earlier and he told me over the phone that the bottom line he could do was "X" amount of dollars which was fairly feasible in my book. I didn't want to dismiss Ammar quite yet so I made my trek back to Nissan of Portland to see if their claims were true. Arrived here and was not quickly greeted by an entourage of sales consultant only having to walk in the showroom and find Ammar look at me with a smile waiting to assist us. He showed me a variety of models in the price range stated and we began the paperwork process. Told them my parents were willing to just pay cash for the car and they gave us a different alternative to give us the best savings to keep us in the stated price range. Got us in and paperworked signed off at the finance dept. in about an hour and a half. The best part of the whole thing was that they gave us a complimentary tank of gas and had the car detailed. I found a couple minor issues on the detail and they were able to resolve these issues in a timely manner without a change in their composure or the feeling of trying to just rush me out of here. Overall A+ customer service from these guys. I will definitely recommend any of my friends to come here and purchase a car from them. Thank you Nissan of Portland and Ammar, Pete, and Romano for making my parents buying experience a pleasant and easy journey.

I looked all over the portland area for the maxima I wanted, every other dealer kept trying to sell me one they wanted. The salesman at N.O.P showed me their inventory when they didn't have the one I wanted they offered to find me one. I left that day with no pressure to buy anything, instead they called me the next day and told me they found one and will go and get for me and still beat everyones price in town...they were super laid back I will by my next car from Justin,barnaby and Lonnie...they were easy to deal with and treated me like a friend... Thanks N.O.P. You got a customer for life.

Started with Nikki from Internet Sales, her service was great, was introduced to Barnaby to make the Sale. Barnaby truly listened and heard our unique situation. The process seemed easy, shortly after it was a done deal. Purchase agreement signed, 2 personal checks were taken. We were told to return with a Cashiers Check the next day to replace one check, then they would hold the other for 28 days. No financing needed.Not a problem, it should have been. BUT, as I returned with the Cashiers Check, I was told I need 2. The deal was not done, and I need to pay for the difference. Due to our unique situation, we did not qualify for the hold check. I asked to speak to a sales person and was told no one was available. I need to supply the check or return the paperwork. I was even followed to my car, telling me not to leave without giving the paperwork back. I felt like a criminal. All for the difference of $1628.00. Why didn't anyone bother to call to let us know, prior to our second visit? I was totally blindsided! You be the judge!

Checked out their online inventory and did some homework before popping by. "Kiwi" is great, very patient, not condescending. A sales guy just doing his job. Went back and forth a bit on prices but walked away with a great deal. Worth checking out if you know what you're looking for!

I had been shopping for a specific vehicle and saw one online advertised by Nissan of Portland. I exchanged emails with the internet sales staff and made an appointment to see the vehicle. When I arrived, the car was right up front and ready to go. After the test drive, it took 15 minutes to arrive at a price that I felt was fair. In and out in less than 90 minutes! Awesome staff,no pressure, straight dealing. All in all, a good experience.

Chris did a great job of keeping in contact with me; letting me know when they received trucks that meant my values. It was easy to go in and drive the trucks with no pressure to purchase. Once our decision was made the paperwork was fast and easy. Everyone that helped us was friendly and had plenty of knowledge. I would buy again from this group!
