Have bought several cars from Chris Todd at our local dealership and have been very satisfied with all facets of our buying experience. Chris is very no-nonsense and straight-forward, which is rare in salesmen these days. I was in the market for a smaller AWD SUV and a friend of mine told me to ask for Chris Todd. I went in and was pointed in his direction and was almost instantly sitting in the one I had seen on their website. Chris walked me through all the key features of the vehicle while test driving it. No sooner than I said I'd take it he sent it to get detailed even though it was practically spotless the way it was. You will not beat the prices on the vehicles, and the service could not have been better!I would also like to give a shout out to Amy in the financing department who made that super fast and painless as well!Thanks to the whole O'brien team!

Last year I bought a brand new 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage from Paul Hepp at O'Brien Mitsubishi Normal. Shortly after I found out I was expecting twins! Having just bought a very small economic car I assumed I was going to have to take a loss and trade up when they arrived but, I was mistaken! Not only can I fit both full size car seats inside but it also holds my double stroller! A huge round of applause for Mitsubishi for not only making such an economical car (it usually cost are $15 for a tank of gas) but also such a roomie car! I am very impressed!!

I came in in May to buy my daughter a used Mitsubishi Mirage, and seeing how much money she saved in gas I contacted my salesman Zach and decided to buy myself one to drive back and forth to work in Lincoln instead of putting the miles on my 350z. In the two months I have had it I have saved an incredible amount of money on gas. I used to fill my Z twice a week with premium gas, and now I only fill up once every week and half sometime once every two weeks. I have also been to their service department and they are the easiest and cleanest service area I have ever been too.

We bought our i-Miev all electric vehicle nearly two years ago from Chris Todd at O'Brien Mitsubishi and had the best experience we've ever had buying a car. Not only was Chris very knowledgeable about the product and its details, but he has been extremely helpful with questions that have come up from time to time since our purchase. He always responds to my texts or calls with the answer. The i-Miev itself is my very favorite car I've ever driven. The dealership is extremely clean and comfortable and welcoming. Even when there is a need to wait a bit, there is popcorn and beverages aplenty to pass the time. We have also had excellent experiences getting our rare servicing needs attended to.

Coming to O'Brien's was so different from shopping at other dealerships. I needed a newer vehicle and enjoy driving a manual transmission. When I went to other dealers, I discovered my choices were very limited. Additionally, I'm a tall guy, so what was available didn't fit me. My requirements were NO issue at O'Brien's. My salesman understood my needs and helped me find the perfect vehicle, and the supporting staff has been excellent! I just recently bought my 2016 Outlander Sport from O'Brien. It was by far the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. While trying to figure out all of my options for my previous vehicle online, I had come across their website and tried to find out my trade-in value. I then decided to go about my business. A couple days later I received a text from Paul and spoke with him about my options. He was very helpful and easy to work with. I ended up meeting with him the next day, expecting not to have many options due to being upside down on my previous car. However, he made it work for me and I left with a new Oulander Sport with the same payment I had on my much older car. Each person I had interaction with there was very friendly and helpful. Colleen was also super helpful with any questions I had regarding the financing and warranty options. After more than 30 years of owning several different makes and models of Toyota cars and SUV's we recently decided it was time to replace our 2006 Corolla. That decision lead us to test drive several new Toyota vehicles and for the first time in years, we decided to check out other makes as well. Our list included the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. We did a lot of online searching and read reviews before our trip to O'Brien Mitsubishi in Normal, IL. Upon arrival we were greeted by our friendly Sales Agent, Chris Todd, who offered an overview of the different features and trim packages available on the Outlander Sport. We decided to test drive both the 2.0 and the 2.4 models. They both felt very comfortable and the perfect size vehicle for our lifestyle. The fold down rear seats allows us to haul larger items, yet comfortably and safely transport our precious grandchildren. We decided to look closer at the 2.4 engine as it had plenty of get-up-and-go for the many miles we spend highway driving. The safety features, back-up camera and stereo system were also important factors as well. Everything else with comparable equipment was at least several thousand more with other car manufacturers. So, we decide to sit down with Chris Todd and talk about purchasing the new 2016 Outlander Sport.I generally hate buying cars. It's a long process and the negotiating is painful. We had mentioned early on that we had our own financing and no trade-in. Chris was quick to respond with the appropriate questions and he did a great job of streamlining the process. None of the high-pressure sales gimmicks and minimum back-and-forth haggling. We decided on a fair price and said we would return within a few days to sign paperwork. The next morning, Chris's day off, I decided to switch colors and sent a text to him to please note the color change. He responded quickly and made the change, then followed up with a photo of our new vehicle. We returned a few days later to finish the sale. Chris Todd and the Business Manger, Amy Kiper were both efficient in getting the paperwork together in a fast and efficient manner, in a short period of time we were getting a tour of all the features our new vehicle offered and directions on how to use them. We've been enjoying our new vehicle and are happy to share our experiences with Chris and Amy at O'Brien Mitsubishi. We will certainly recommend them to our friends. The next time we are in the market for another vehicle, we will start at O'Brien Mitsubishi!

I was sent an offer for a gift card. I thought the whole thing was a hoax. I decided to call and double check. I was asked questions about my desires/wants for a vehicle. I was then scheduled an interview with Kurt Silcott the next day. He was given all of my information (looking for a car/SUV, something newer or slightly used, that I had previously owned an Altima, etc), and we sat and discussed things. Not numbers, but personal things. Why I enjoyed my Altima, driving history, credit history, etc. At one point I told him that I didn't think I would ever get approved for a vehicle. He then broke things down very clearly. I had two options. I chose what I felt was intelligent, and he guided me along the way. I had two options for a car after configuring my preferences and state of finances. Both wonderful cars. We test drove both and I ended up choosing one that had many amenities. Not only did Mr. Silcott assist me in choosing a wonderful car, he made my decision painless and I can honestly say I felt like I made a friend as well. Most places that are commission based make me feel like I should take anything just to boost sales. He told me many times I should love what I have. We discussed the three things people should splurge on. Home, phone, and car. You can definitely have bells and whistles with those. I ended up purchasing a 2011 Mitsubishi Gallant with less than 29000 miles and more treats than I could ask for. It was just a hair more than I would have liked to have paid, but it certainly wasn't a deal breaker, as I signed before I left. After he came back from running the financial plan and told me, "congratulations, you just bought a car", I sat that with a feeling of euphoria that could only be described as a child on Christmas when getting the one gift they have wanted all year. I wish I could say that was everything, but there was also a super pleasant Bookkeeper/Secretary (not sure of her actual title) who was not only extremely professional, but funny and honest in sharing some of her own personal stories as I shared mine about purchasing a car. Colleen was EXACTLY what I needed to keep the mood light as I had just made one of the biggest decisions in my life. So the staff was wonderful. The kind of people I would want to sit down and share a beer and a story with, but people with a heart to help others and even offered me advice in other areas of my life, like a plan to pursue my education. The conversation flowed with such ease about family, travel, sports, and previous jobs that I felt like I knew Kurt for years as opposed to hours. I could go on and on about my FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE with these great people. To top everything off, I did get a sweet gift card to use on top of a sweet new car. I would recommend Mr. Kurt Silcott to anybody on earth. A wonderfully sincere man with a gift.. If he is any representation of the dealership and the other sales representatives that work there, you are in for a treat. Do yourself a favor and go check these people out. Absolutely 10/10! Keep up the PHENOMENAL WORK!

I walked into the O'brien Mitsubishi dealership not quite sure if I wanted a new or used car. I just knew I needed to get out of the car I was in. In 2013 I bought a 2010 Nissan Sentra from O'Brien's Mitsubishi. I was so happy with the service and the way I was treated that in 2016 I met with Chris Todd and got the perfect car, a brand new 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer. I even had the service department install a spoiler that really makes the car stand out. It's not an Evo like Fast & Furious, but it looks great. In November 2015, Chris Todd sold my wife and I a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and we were so happy with Chris that I seen him about my Lancer. Go for 3 as our daughter went and seen Chris Todd and bought a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage just a few days after I got my Lancer. Thanks again Chris for the great service.

My wife and I have been very pleased with O'Brien from every aspect. We have purchased two Mitsubishis from them now. The first was nearly 4 years ago and the most recent was just a couple weeks ago. The first vehicle, an Endeavor, has been one of my most favorite vehicles to own. I love this SUV. Purchasing it was a breeze. Our sales rep, Paul Hepp, is very approachable, not pushy, and really listens to what we want and what we say we can afford. Negotiations were not difficult and only took about 15 minutes. I felt very happy with our deal. Since purchasing that vehicle we've had it serviced at O'Brien and that has also been a great experience. The service managers make things very easy, they explain what is needed, and the information they provide about the condition of the vehicle is very nice for planning future maintenance needs. I love being able to drop off the vehicle in the morning, grab free coffee from the lounge, then get a ride to work in their service shuttle. It's so convenient. This experience led us to purchase our next vehicle from O'Brien, a 2015 Outlander Sport. Again, we worked with Paul and the purchase process was very easy and we feel we got a fair price for the car. The one thing that I really love about O'Brien and Paul is that they stick with you after the sale. All too often once the sales person has made the sale, that's the last they return your call. This is not the case with Paul and I imagine that's just the O'Brien way. O'Brien Mitsubishi has earned our business and kept it with great service. Keep up the great work and we'll be customers for life.

finally a good experience. I want thank O'Brien Mitsubishi, and especially Paul and the Finance Manager for the top tier service I received. I actually came in a month before buying the Outlander I walked out of. From the first day I walked in, Paul was awesome! He greeted me and let me know what my options were with a realistic view. And when I said I wasn't ready at that moment there was no pressure! That really impressed me. Then came the time that I really need a car! I went straight to Paul. And I told him what was going on. I actually had an increase in pay from my job and a great opportunity to really move forward. And I walked out with an outlander. And even when there was a small glitch with the bank Paul, the finance manager and O'Briens made it completely possible for me to walk out the door with a decent and reasonable deal. Sometimes you hear about buyers remorse. And I've bought a vehicle before in the past and had experienced that. This time, I had no doubts and zero remorse! My wife and I bought a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport from Bill Danosky and the finance manager, Steven, at O'Brien Mitsubishi and had a very good transaction from start to finish. Nine months later, we were so happy with our vehicle, Bill, the service department and O'Brien in general, that we went back and bought a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. We have bought many cars from many dealers over the years in three different states. O'Brien, by far, has been the best we have dealt with! As for Mitsubishi cars, they are given bad reviews by the critics but get excellent reviews by their owners. Who knows the cars better? Those who drive them for a couple days or a week, or those who have owned them for years? We have owned three Mitsubishi vehicles now and have been very happy with all three.

He took the time to listen to what we wanted and needed in a car and then walked us through all of our available options, thoroughly explaining the difference between models and what available options they had. Paul also made sure we got a fair value on our trade in, and we felt he was in our corner to get us the "out the door" price we were looking to get. We had a great car buying experience at O'Brien Mitsubishi! Our salesman Chris Todd is highly reccomended. He made our experience of buying a new vehicle fast and easy. We went there to look at a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander that we had seen on the website. He had it pulled up to the door and even warmed up for our test drive. I had made an appointment to see it the day before. He took us out and showed us all the features that the vehicle had. We took it for a test drive. After returning to the dealership I had decided I really liked the Outlander but I had many questions about possibly buying a new 2016. Chris took the time to explain all the features and warranties of all of our options. We ended up decided to buy NEW! 2016 Red Mitsubishi Outlander! I absolutely love it!!! It was not quite to the dealership and they even gave allowed us to drive another vehicle until ours arrived a few days later. We did all the paperwork on that first day and Chris let me know as soon as mine arrived! It was a pretty icky snowy day and he had it pulled in out of the weather with a full tank of gas and answered all my questions about all the features of my new car. Thank you Chris Todd for making this the best car buying experience ever! Everyone at the dealership we met were very nice and professional without any high pressure! This was the first time we bought a Mitsubishi (Outlander GT) and so far we are very happy with our decision. It was also our first time visiting the O'Brien Mitsubishi dealership in Normal, IL. I was very surprised how casual the atmosphere was, definitely not high pressure. Our salesman, Bill Danosky, was very helpful and was able to answer all of our questions. They gave us a very fair deal on our trade and were able to come down on the MSRP due to several credits and incentives. I did a lot of vehicle research and shopping on the internet prior to visiting this dealership. I dread having to buy a vehicle due to "haggling" and high pressure sales tactics, but that was not our experience at O'Brien or with Bill. We will definitely consider this dealership when we need to purchase our next vehicle. In addition, we requested a hitch to be installed on the Outlander. Bill set up everything, including the order, install, and setting up a loaner vehicle for my wife while the hitch is installed. I always research ratings prior to buying and this dealership is the highest rated dealer in the Bloomington/Normal area based on Google. I can say that was the case with our experience.

I saw a truck on the website and decided to go check it out. I must say I was impressed with the dealership as a whole, it was clean, welcoming and had a very friendly staff. I dealt with Zach on this and found him to be very accommodating and knowledgeable in regards to the vehicle I was looking at. I came into O'Brien with a very low credit score, a car worth nothing and some hope. When coming to Mitsubishi I had no clue what I wanted or what would be the best. Then I met Paul Hepp a salesmen for Mitsubishi, and he helped myself pick something affordable, and great for my everyday life with a two year old. I went between a small car and a mini suv such as the outlander. At the end of endless decisions and crunching numbers I ended up picking an Outlander sport ES, and I am so excited because this car is everything I wanted and more. Its affordable, and great to keep my two year old safe. When working with Paul he made working with my credit score,and being a first time buyer so easy. I was nervous because this is a decision I was nervous about but when having a great sales person like Paul to help me he did great. The communication and the dedication to helping myself get into a beautiful car was above and beyond. I am a single mom of a two year old, and I am very cautious of things due to making sure my child is taken care of, but when working with Paul and Mitsubishi they had my best interest at heart. They're okay, but they won't honor referral requests, e.g. our friend was promised a bonus for referring us to a specific salesman, but the sales guy never sent the bonus even though we asked multiple times over months. Also, it's the typical stressful car dealership hours-long haggling process over the price. Even after you get the price agreed upon, you get another round of sales pitches about the warranties during the financing paperwork. Next time we'll just buy our car off the internet.

My son was in an accident and totaled his 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage. He's a delivery driver and must have a car for his job so that same afternoon we went to O'Brien Mitsubishi looking for a used car. Being the owner of an Outlander Sport (bought new in 2012 from O'Brien), I expected better service. Every one of my three 6 month scheduled services at the dealership have been underwhelming. The service technicians are extremely "slippery" - efficient in getting the vehicle serviced and out of the door while not really listening to the customer or trying to understand the customer problem (if any). They are experts on giving vague answers on everything. This has happened three times to me so I stopped asking questions.. (though I did send a letter to both Mitsubishi and O'Brien after my first experience) However what took the cake was - just before my last scheduled service in April 2014, I received a notification from Mitsubishi on a possible "recall" due to a faulty Keyless Operation System (KOS) in cold weather. I called and notified O'Brien and requested them to take care of it during my scheduled service. They said ok. However, after the service the technician tells me that the part was not available and they will call me when it comes in. I wait for a few days, but never receive the call! A couple of months later (in July) I called again. The Service Center connects me to parts, and the parts guy tells me that it will be ordered and available by Wednesday (which is about 5 days out) and they will call me when it is in. This time as well I never get a call. I have only one question - how many times does a customer have to chase a dealership to get a recall issue resolved? If O'Brien is considered one of the top dealerships for Mitsubishi, then I do not have much hopes for this auto maker. If a dealership cant get limited frequency touch points with the customer (in my case every six months) right, then it has no business calling itself a customer service organization Even though I am a resident of Bloomington-Normal, I now take my car to another (out of town) dealership

I inquired regarding a used Mitsubishi Outlander. The salesman indicated that the dealership was very interested in selling car, alluding to aggressive pricing. After several emails, they refused to negotiate even one penny. Be careful with these people! Don't waste your time.

The best car I ever bought was from O'Brien. 2001 Eclipse GS. I had that car from 36,000-118,00 and the only repair needed was a boot in the coil till I hit a deer doing 65mph. :( I've owned two Chevys, two Eclipses, and one Legacy GT. The vehicle I bought from them was by far the most reliable!!!!!! The Subaru is sitting the shed with a blown motor. Thanks to a new OEM timing belt that started coming apart.

I purchased a 2014 Outlander from Paul Hepp. Paul was very helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. Paul compared the Outlander to the Rav 4. The Outlander was the best value for the cost and the warranties could not be matched. I was able to drive my new Outlander home that day to show my husband. And was able to purchase the Outlander that day as well. My sister was looking for a new car. I suggested working with Paul. He was able to help her purchase a 2013 Outlander Sport. Paul did not pressure me or my sister in purchasing a SUV. I returned to O'Brien, and Paul set up my phone with Bluetooth connection and Pandora. This was my best experience purchasing a new car. I look forward to working with Paul and O'Brien Mitsubishi for my service needs.

We leased a new electric i Miev at the dealership. Everything was so pleasant and the salesperson, Chris Todd so knowledgeable about the new technology. He was also very patient with us, as we started the question process in August!! We are confident that any post sale needs we might have will be promptly and professionally handled.

I've been doing business with them since 1995, and I won't buy from anyone else now. Every time I go there, it's the same great people, the same great deals, the same great service as always. When people tell me horror stories about their car dealers, I just laugh and tell them, "Go to O'Brien Mitsubishi."

I noticed a great deal on a 2005 Ford Focus at the dealership. The dealership was extremely helpful and friendly the entire time, and really helped me with the financing to reach the number I was looking for. I am very pleased with my experience with O'Brien Mitsubishi, and the vehicle I purchased from them!
