Carlos Gonzalez set the bar across the board for a perfect customer experience. From the moment I reached out with a brief inquiry, Carlos Gonzalez was responsive, extremely knowledgeable, not only about the vehicle itself, but in walking me through the entire process. I want to give a BIG Shout Out to PATRICK BROWNING for his EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. My Father saw a Vehicle at 'Ocean Honda' that sparked his eye. He loves the Process of finding the perfect Vehicle and PATRICK BROWNING made the whole experience Amazing... I haven't been well for the last few years and haven't been out. It's only been 7 or so weeks that I've felt well and even thought about getting a Car. That's all my Father needed to hear and he was on a mission and PATRICK made it so Easy. I can't Thank PATRICK and the rest of the Staff at 'Ocean Honda' enough for making it happen. We walked into 'Ocean Honda' and immediately felt Welcomed. This Dealership went over and above to make it happen. I didn't realize when my father found the car that it was the Dealership that I knew several of them for years, it was like going to a Reunion with Hand Shakes and Hugs. My experience with Ocean Honda was extraordinary. Patrick Browning made me feel he genuinely cared about my wants and needs as if I was family. He was very gracious with me, answered all my questions and didn’t once make me feel forced to make any decisions. The process of getting the car was simple and quick. He also made sure to explain the entire vehicle to me and how everything works during my test drive. When I came back and decided to go forward with the vehicle he took me out and helped me set up and learn how to do the radio, Bluetooth and all the other fun electronic things you have to learn. Thank you Patrick Browning. P.S. Andrew Lopez was very quick, efficient, polite and willing to answer questions for me in the business manager office as well. Thank you!

1 year in ... came in for my 1st service. I was in and out in an hour. the service depart could not have been any better. and i love my passport. I came in only LOOK at a Passport as a comparison before I bought a different brand. I worked with David and Peter. They could not have provided a better all around experience. I have been going to their service department for a long time. I don't know why but the last few times I have gone they have utterly underperformed. I go in and ask to get the car ready for daily a daily commute and pay close to 1000 dollars and them assuring me this will be sufficient. 3 weeks later, I'm back in after the car is overheating. Another 500 dollar bill and again am ensured. That same day i go home and my car is leaking all over the place and is again overheating. Im not sure what is happening, but I have concluded that their technicians or the ones i have received are incompetent. I mean how am i sent off and get home to a massive leak? going to have to go to another honda service department and hope that they are better.

SCOTT HARLIB = ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, "F Rated Stealership"!! As a return customer, we came back to see Ismel Velasquez which I might say is a very professional young man trying to make an Honest living.. However, his GENERAL MANAGER Scott Harlib is a complete and udder idiot! This man obviously does not want to sell cars nor even work a deal out with anyone whether its a $4k profit or a small profit deal. I have personally sent numerous people here in the past and the General Sales Manager Patrick Sanders is a wonderful stand up guy that always comes through! Patrick should be in charge of this dealership because he obviously knows a thing or two about customers satisfaction & retention. PLEASE BEWARE OF SCOTT HARLIB, HE WILL DIRECTLY TRY TO RIP YOU OFF! No wonder he is still in the car business at his age, hopping from dealership to dealership!

We bought a used 2012 toyota corolla at the end of march 2016. with a 90 day warrenty on it, 1st week of owning the car we noticed that when using the defrost it makes the radio staticy, and also the radio shuts off when tring to change the stations And or pre setting the stations, and a blown speaker in the back, We tried calling about the issues and never recieved a call back left over 4 messages to the service department, 1st time we bring the car in to try to get some of the issues fixed, nothing was fixed says there have to find a new radio from junkyard. ( being a 2012 ) here it is 2.5 months later and still nothing fixed made an appointment they said it was in so spend all day waiting no return call to tell us the radio isn't in and was never ordered. so at this point no communication we had to go there in person and try to complain and boy they don't like to hear complaints. If your not buying Brand new then they don"t want nothing to do with you. they will sell you a used car then wipe there hands with you. I would not recommend buying a used car from them at all. Brand new maybe. Customer Service isn't that great especially the general tried talking about it but instead I am wrong because we tried complaining that no one was helping us or reaching out to us. Also I am disabled and couldn't park in a handicap spot bc the spots were all taken up by used cars there Tring to sell. So I had to walk further then I shouldn't have knowing I can barley walk at times.

Ocean Honda claims to be "second to none" with their service department. We purchased a new 2014 Pilot, Touring model 2 years ago. The vehicle has less than 30,000 miles when paint has started to peel on the roof above the windshield. We made an appointment to have a service advisor document the issue. He took photos and told us the service manager (John) needed to see it. It took 2 weeks for this guy to call me and he left a message saying "it's not warrantable". The paint is clearly peeling with no impact marks. This is what you get when you spend $48,000

The old saying is buyer beware so here are my experiences at Ocean Honda. Please note I can not prove they did these items BUT seems like a big coincidence!! In the spring of 2015, we booked an appointment for an oil change. We arrived and every thing was good, then the service tech came out and said they had done a load check on our battery and as it checked low they recommended we have it replaced. I said we were from Ontario, Canada and felt we would wait till we got home so we could be sure of warranty on it for Canada. A month and half after we got home, we had to call CAA for a boast. We went to a garage and bought a new battery --- WHEN I opened the hood, I noticed a battery terminal was not tightened !!!! As our car was 4 yrs old, I replaced the battery anyway but wondered. I have talked to auto friends and seem to feel that dealerships do not need to take cables off a battery to do a load test --- strange!! This spring we were in to Ocean Honda again for an oil change and were upsold for an alignment again a 4 yr old CRV didnt seem unreasonable. This was 2 weeks before we left Florida. A couple days before we left, we had a light rain and I tried to use our windshield washer which did not activate. During the 5 months we were in Florida we had used the washer a few times and were surprised it quit. First thing I checked was fluid it was full, checked the fuse panels and fuses seemed okay. We were headed home in a couple days, so no time to go to a garage. We loaded up a couple gallons of water, for quick washes on the way north and hoped for the best. I just returned from a small one owner garage near us, he used to be a Honda mechanic and was great. He found a cord set unplugged near the washer motor he found it unusual that this type of connection would come apart as it is a 4 yr old car and should have come apart long ago if done in assembly. This CRV was bought new and has never been in an accident. Needless to say after 2 coincidences we are done with Ocean Honda and would ask all Canadians to watch for unusual repairs required shortly after getting back home.

Just got my oil changed to prepare for our return north, While the wait was a bit long, the waiting room services are the best - including free Wi-Fi, coffee/pop/water, snacks and even ice cream treats. Tammy Garrison, my service adviser, was great. I recommend this Honda dealer if you need repairs in Pasco County Florida. I took pictures of Ocean Honda's waiting room and will show them to my local Honda dealer in Windsor Ontario, hoping they will offer the same kind of services.

I took my Honda Accord in for a regular oil change and maintenance. From the time I arrived until the time I left, the customer service was outstanding. In particular, I want to mention how helpful service advisor, JR Disbrow, was to me. It was early morning, and I wanted to go somewhere nearby for breakfast. He went way above and beyond and drove me about a mile to a local restaurant. Then I called him on his cell phone when I was done and he picked me up! It was super nice of him! I will definitely go back for service and also when I need to buy another vehicle. JR is an excellent ambassador for Ocean Honda!

Today I leased a 2015 Honda Civic LX. My salesperson was Carlos Gonzalez. My finance person was Shane. Both of these men were true gentlemen. In my more than 50+ years of buying/leasing vehicles, I have never been treated with so much courtesy, professionalism and just plain general kindness. I made an excellent lease deal with the most minimum amount of negotiation. I was also given an excellent appraisal on my trade. To Mr. Scott Harlib, Manager of Ocean Honda I would like to extend my "kudos" to you in regards , not only to the performance of your staff but also to the "cleanliness" of your dealership. Your car lot , your showroom, your snack bar, your restrooms, the sales peoples desk areas, the customer's waiting lounge and even your windows on the entire building were all "IMMACULATE"! Very easy and respectful buying experience at Ocean Honda. I just purchased my second vehicle there, with AJ Lopez as my salesman. AJ treated me with respect, and did not play any of the usual car dealership games. On both vehicles I purchased I got exactly the vehicle I wanted, at the price I was willing to pay. Also the financing portion of the transaction was quick, and again no funny business. I would recommend Ocean Honda to anyone who asks me. I live less than a mile from another Honda dealership, but drove the hour to get to Ocean Honda because of the way they do business.

Just purchased a 2015 Honda Accord Sport today as an 'upgrade' from my 2013 Accord LX, from AJ and Ocean Honda. I am very pleased. It was a very easy, no hassle experience. Rick Hirsh is the salesman who worked with us... He is seriously like a miracle worker. I have no idea how he made it so I could drive home in a car. I can't even get approved for a target card, but somehow I have a brand new 2015 Honda Hybrid. I kept running into all these road blocks with my situation and he just kept fixing everything that popped up. He also somehow got it so I could afford the monthly payments. I didn't like the original price for my payments but I got him to keep going down more and more until he got it so my payments are only 340.00 a month. ...He is seriously insane with however he does what he does.. but he does it and he does it well!! I highly recommend going to him if u are looking to buy a car... bc if there's any issue he will pull his magic tricks out and get u in... : )

Have been dealing with Ocean Honda for over 2yrs, the only time we have allowed anyone else to help with our service needs our car was wrecked. The dealership dealt with the wreck and handled everything properly, but I will never again trust anyone in service but JR. He is the reason we keep coming back.

We take four Hondas there for service from as far away as Plant City. Our service manager is J.R. Disbrow and I would recommend him to any one. Due to the quality of service at Ocean Honda we have purchased two of our cars there. The other two Hondas will be traded in there. I have taught my children that you can buy a car any where, but service work you can trust is very hard to find.

I drive 52 miles (one way) to take my cars for service. JR is my service rep and he is top notch! He always has a thorough check over done, and if there is a lot of work to be done, he prioritises what needs attention first. JR has been taking care of my cars since I moved to Florida 13 years ago. I met him at another dealer and although it is much closer to me, we always take a field trip to Ocean Honda for luxury service at a bargain price. JR is the reason we will never go anywhere else!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate JR Disbrow in the customer service department at Ocean Honda. I follow him around from dealer to dealer. Everytime I leave the shop my car is like I bought it brand new off the dealership. I love other makes and models of cars but I won't give up my Pilot because of the service by JR Disbrow at Ocean Honda. JR Disbrow will take good care of your at a good price and never leave you with incorrect advice. Take it from a single woman who would never trusts mechanics - this is the only customer service person to go to.

We were in the market for a Odyssey. I located the car online here. I called the dealership to inquire if the vehicle was a 7 or 8 passenger. I spoke with Joe. He immediately went to the vehicle to check. He called me while at the vehicle and answered all my questions. The next day Andrew (A.J.) Lopez called to see when we could come by to take a look. He informed the vehicle had not been detailed yet. We arrived and A.J. had the detailers working on the Odyssey for us. We test drove it. The vehicle is in amazing shape. I cannot sing the praises of Tony's great customer service. If I could have rated him a 10 I would. He listened to what my wants and needs were for purchasing a new car, never pushing to get something out of my price range and allowed me to test driving multiple cars to find what met my needs. Also, when I questioned my decision about a purchase, he and the entire staff were extremely understanding, kind and accommodating. Bought a vehicle from Ocean Honda with extended warranty (Honda Care) then less than two years started having noise and looseness in steering column. Brought to Ocean Honda and 2+ hours later was told they would have to order part. Rec'd a call about 2 weeks later, brought car in and was given a loaner car. Few days later rec'd a call that Honda Care would not cover problem with steering as it wasn't on the recall list. Drove our car home with the problem not repaired. Emailed owner John Veltri who advised car had been repaired and provided a copy of the work order. When I challenged the authenticity he did not reply. They were more concerned with selling us a newer vehicle than fixing ours. Service person even said to dump it and get another. Asked to be reimbursed for extended warranty we paid for but John Veltri didn't answer, again. Will NEVER, EVER, buy a vehicle from this dealership again!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

They wouldn't even look at the car to inspect as far as opening up the hood or putting it on the lift to check things out. There IS a problem with my car that is NOT Normal. The salesman made no attempt to usell.com or down sale. He took my information, I filled out the paperwork,test drove a car and within an hour, I met with the finance department, signed the papers and was on my way. Within the hour. So I was looking for a vehicle that was more family oriented. I was looking for a truck to begin with that had 4 doors cause I pull a boat for work and I need more room for a new addition that's on the way. I went to like 7 dealers in the area and found myself here. I looked on the lot for a truck and didn't see any but I did see the Honda pilot and the Honda Ridgeline sitting there. I remembered the 3 Hondas I've had in the past and how great they were. I walked into the showroom to ask someone what kind of weight they can haul (thinking an actual honda dealer would know this) and like 3 different people in there were sure they all pulled over 4000lbs. I told the guy I don't even want to look until we are sure they can pull my boat. They assured me it would. Well I bought a pilot and come to find out it only pulls 2000lbs so needles to say, I'm extremely upset about this because it's part of my livlihood . now I'm in the market for a vehicle again after just buying one. Not to mention the price was different than the online price . on top of all this, I asked For some history on the vehicle via car fax or likewise and was told how it's a honda certified and they are very strict as to what makes the certification. They told me it would have no accident history and passed a vigorous inspection and is under waranty still. I trusted this because I seen the certification paperwork.(stupid me). After we signed the paperwork I asked again if I can just get the carfax anyway for my records. They gave it to me and right away I saw on there where it was in an accident last year where it was even disabled and towed. I asked for the accident report and they claim they can't get it. I asked them to contact the previous owner about it and nothing still a week later. I thought this was against the law to be honest. I also complained about a vibration in the transmission near overdrive and they told me this was normal for the pilot and one guy even tried to give me his keys and said he owned one and to drive and see for myself that his does it also. I told him I didn't want to do that, I just want a vehicle that feels good to drive if it's only 2 years old. I went home to look it up online and found it to be a known issue with the vcm engine. I let the dealer know about this and again they said yes, you just have to get used to it. Wow! Never in my life have I heard things like this. I guess honda is not what they used to be. Be very cautious with this dealer. Do a lot of homework before hand because they might mislead you. Very nice people but fake.

I contacted Ocean Honda of New Port Richey on Monday October 13th, 2014 and explained that I had had a horrible experience with another dealer because I have Bad Credit and that they played games with me. I was contacted by A.J. and I explained to him my situation and also explained that I was tired of Games and just wanted honesty. After a few days I filled out the credit app. and waited for a response. When I heard nothing I emailed A.J. who responded and explained that they were still working on it. When I still didn't hear from A.J. I emailed him again and he responded saying that I would hear something from him "Monday Morning".... Yep you guessed it, Monday morning came and went with no response from. A.J. so Monday evening I emailed him again..... Tuesday Morning He emailed and texted me and blamed the lack of information on his manager but said he would call me at "10;30 am" and let me know what was going on.... Well, 10:30 am came and went with no response from A.J. so like usual I had to email him Again and finally he was honest with me..... WOW......DIDN'T NEED THE GAMES A.J.!!!!.....Buyer Beware!!!!

I was not looking to buy anything and was approached by a car salesman, Christopher Tighe, and he was not bothersome but very pleasant and polite and got to know my needs and understand me as a client. His gracefulness was what brought me to enter the doors of Ocean Honda. With that I proceeded with the process of purchasing a 2014 Honda Civic Hybrid. But wait it does not stop there....if you know the car buying process there are more personnel involved, I dealt with the first line manager in Chris' chain (the General Manager was out for my buying process) and please forgive me I've forgotten his name but the gentlemen was kind and caring as well. The only person I had a problem with was my first finance guy but it was not due to Ocean Honda he was just having a bad day and you know that we have all been there. The second finance guy was amazing. Then there was a service gentlemen by the name of Alex who owns a Honda Odyssey who broke down in detail the inter-workings of my service plan and my vehicle. Next we got the most amazing service from Bobby Schiver while he performed intricate detailed window tinting for my car and I mean if there was a hair the man replaced the tint...perfection. So when I say the service was Amazing yes, it doesn't matter if I was buying a car or a bottle of water I truly believe I would have received the same amount of service from each individual. Mr. Owner / General Manager Please make sure to commend and recognize the personnel above for what they did for me and my family during our two - three day experience at your establishment because it was life changing for us and thank you for allowing us to become a part of the Ocean Honda community. Before heading to Ocean Honda, I first contacted the dealership via cars.com to obtain information on the Honda Civic I was looking at online. Once the dealership had my information I was contacted by Christopher Tighe internet sales. I explain to Chris that I lived three hours away from the dealership and I wanted the best deal out the door. After a number of calls and e-mails, I received my deal and the following day we sent to pick-up the car. The whole process with dealing with Chris and Ocean Honda was nice and smooth; we were in and out in less than hour and half time. Chris was very professional sale person who I would deal with again when I start looking for another Honda in the near future. It's been now over two week and my daughter loves the car!

We had a very good salesperson, Chris who helped us have a good experience test driving several cars. He worked hard to get us a good deal and we appreciated that. When we thought we had an agreed-upon price for our trade-in and the car we wished to purchase, someone came in at the last moment with an additional charge of $399 to pencil in on the paperwork for upgrades another dealership had done. I truly wish I had just thanked them and walked away, but instead agreed to the extra pricing. It was bad form on their part and stupidity on mine. An expensive lesson.

never more disappointed in a repair shop - They used after market parts w/ the response 'it's an old car, what's the difference?" It's MY car!! Never had a problem w/ it till I brought it to Ocean Honda! Brought it in running, and almost had to have it towed out. The new mechanic I brought it to could not believe the parts used. He got MY 94 Honda running perfectly, for a fraction of the price and time, used the RIGHT parts, and NO insults were said. They "thought" we were going to buy a new car, so put NO EFFORT into mine. I was going to get a new car in the near future..............but never from this dealer. I've been a Honda owner for DECADES, but this dealership put me off the brand. To worried it's a practice they all use.

I live in Central Pasco county and am 20 to 45 minutes from 4 To 5 different Honda dealerships. I have been going to Ocean Honda for years to have my vehicle serviced. My service advisor, Chris P., is great. He is friendly and has never tried to sell me a service he doesn't feel I need. JR is another service advisor that has helped me and again I had great customer service. They take other Honda service coupons and have their own too. Twice in the past few years I have taken my Honda Accord to a Honda dealership in central Pasco off of I 75 which is a lot closer to me than Ocean Honda. Twice their service dept. tried to sell me expensive items they said needed to be replaced on my vehicle. Twice I turned to Ocean Honda's service dept. for advice. Both times I was told the items were not needed and Chris from the garage even came out and showed me the part and explained to me what it would look like if it did need to be replaced. I feel even though I have to drive 10-15 minutes more to go to Ocean Honda it is worth the drive. Their customer service is great and I have complete confidence in their care of my Accord and their honesty.

We shopped at five dealers in the Tampa Bay area and two in Virginia Beach. We knew exactly what we wanted on the car and what we didn't (a lot of dealer extras!). We had a CarMax offer on our car, which Scotty promised to honor, even thought he hadn't seen the vehicle. The FL dealers were more competitive and we decided to buy when we returned to our home in Trinity. The Wesley Chapel Honda dealer did a classic "low ball" and refused to honor the written offer they had made....which we had been forewarned would happen. Scotty Hermann honored his proposal and even added $500 to my trade in value. He was extremely helpful both during the sale process and for several post-sale things I needed him to do (like retrieving a credit card I left in my trade-in the day after I had taken possession of the new Honda Odyssey. We recommend Scotty to anyone who wants a painless sale process and a great price!

Going off to college in a few months I needed a car to be able to get back and forth from home and school. My father and I shopped around at different car dealerships (Honda, Kia, etc...) and decided that Honda was the best choice. I recently brought my car to Ocean Honda for an oil change and filter. They then told me my car was mis-allinged, my wipers needed to be replaced and my left rear tire had a nail in it and could not be repaired. I then took my car to Sears where I had just bought tires from and the tire was patched and the car had no allignment issues. My wipers had also been replaced last month. I then called Ocean Honda where the woman I spoke with (Tammy) was rude and had excuses for each point I brought up. I don't want to hear how great your service dept is when you were going to charge me over $250 for services I didn't need. This is the third Honda I have owned and I will never purchase another Honda again. The really unfortunate part is this all could have been resolved and worked out if Tammy could have clamped down her emotions for 2 seconds and acted as a customer service rep which is essentially her job. Very disappointing.

Bought my car in because the a c was blowing hot air. Was told i had c a leak and I would have to pay 199 dollars to locate it and it wasn't under extended warranty. Got a sind opinion at Love Honda and it was a relay switch and it was covered and there wasn't a leak. Will never go back.

Today, June 10, 2014, I brought in my car to be serviced. I had just purchased the car May 2014. I dropped the car off at 12:30 p.m. and asked the shuttle van to take my daughter and I to the local library on Main Street. At 3:00 p.m. I called the dealership and spoke to Rick (the service guy). Rick said that the shuttle driver was busy and that he would pick us up. A half hour rolls by and still no sign of Rick. I call back at 3:30p.m. to find out what s going on. Rick then says that he was busy and would be there when he could. 4:00p.m. I call back and Rick says that someone named Dustin in a silver Honda Accord. I asked Rick why was it that he never called to let us know of the delays. He said that he was busy with other customers. It was 90 degrees outside during the hour that my daughter and I stood in the heat while waiting for a ride that didn't show. Once we reached the dealership, Rick handed me my keys with absolutely no word of apology. If I didn't think that it would affect my credit, I would have left the car there .

I'm more disappointed in myself than my Ocean Honda Sales Rep. I allow myself to be rush into buying a car without doing the due diligence, such as Kelly blue book valuation. Normally I've found when you shop for a car via the Internet Sales dept you do much because you have several dealerships competing with each other. My Rep did what he was suppose to do which was to get the most he could out of me. When he did his first close it was at MSRP, despite the year being half over and no one but a fool would pay list rate. At this point I said he needed to at least take $500. off which he went to a superior to get an approval. I'm sure it was no problem since most people were paying $1200. off the MSRP. Again I don't fault my sales Rep, AJ Lopez, his job is to get the most from your customers for your cars. I guess it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth about the experience. I pride myself on making good purchasing decisions and this time I blew it.

I took my 2009 CRV for routine maintenance. After having a cup of coffee I entered the showroom and started to look and 2014 models. Tony Farinella approached me and after I told him I was just killing time while my vehicle was worked on, he asked me if I would like to see the improvements the 2014 has compared to the 2009. After going over new models, I told him I was impressed but would need to discuss buying a new model with my wife. He thanked me for taking the time with him and I left. Two hours later my wife and I reentered the showroom and asked for Tony. He again repeated much of the same information he had given me. Two hours later we were deep in papers signing for the new CRV. Tony initiated the documents needed to get our vehicle registered in our home state of Delaware, thus saving us much time when we get home. He also coordinated what we would need to get our CRV equipped for towing behind our RV. That company, thanks to Tony, ordered the necessary parts and we are scheduled to have that work done. It is an eight hours installation process and Tony coordinated with the proper people at the dealership for us to have a loaner car that day. The bottom line for us is to let your people at the dealership know what our concerns are both during the purchase process and after the purchase so our needs are met. So far. no reasonable need has been unmet. We are dealing with a true professional in Tony Farinella. Everyone at the dealership has gone out of their way to make us feel like "Valued Customers." Thank You, Tony!

It started good with the salesman (AJ), whole process went in order and bought a new 2014 Accord but with mis-communication or lack off proper disclosure by finance officer, I was short changed by $500 and asked for a refund after a thorough review of the documents at home. After several emails clarifying the mis-communication, Mike (the manager) kindly enough to see my side and offered me a refund. Overall, I had a good experience and got a good deal, at least to what I valued the car. I thought I was rush and I was also excited driving this new car was my biggest mistake. My suggestion to others, take the time to ask every question and all the time to have them (sales and finance) explain every number they put in your invoice/papers.

My name is Gary and I am writing this in regards to my recent experience with Ocean Honda. First, I would like to say this is my families third Honda Odyssey we have leased. We leased our first one in 2008 from this location. However, when we returned in 2011, they were unwilling to work with us in any way to secure another lease. Reluctantly, we went to another Honda dealership and secured a deal. I am happy to say my experience this time was totally different. From the time I stepped inside the dealership, I could tell there was a difference. Carlos Whitlock immediately listened to my concerns and had an offer ready in 10 minutes. Unbelievable! I presented Carlos with the offer provided by the dealership my current Honda was leased from, and Carlos surpassed them considerably. Carlos brought me to Kenny Banaciski for the No Hassle explanation. When I told them I needed to talk this over with my wife and present this offer to the other dealership, neither pressured me for the sale at that moment. That was much appreciated! After calling the other dealership, Kenny matched their counter-offer time and time again. In the end, I chose Ocean Honda for their proximity to me, their constant determination, and overall sales experience. Thanks to Kenny and Carlos, I am happy to say I will once again be an Ocean Honda customer. Not only for purchasing of my vehicles, but for their vehicle maintenance as well. I purchased a 2014 Accord V6 EX-L on 12/30/13. My internet salesman was Joe Wittbrodt with whom I had communicated via Email for a detailed cost sheet. This request was also sent to 5 other Honda dealers in Tampa Bay/St. Pete/Clearwater and Sarasota . It took a few nudges to get some dealers to comply, but Joe sent one immediately. His offer beat the others by between a low of $800 plus to a high of $1,400 and no strings attached or fine print involved. I called to let him know I'd be there and we met face-to-face and immediately connected. The promised deal was honored and he even sweetened it a little further. Paperwork was a cinch and completed accurately and rapidly by Curtis Tucker, another fine credit to Ocean Honda. Overall, a great, painless and enjoyable experience. Those aren't adjectives most people associate with a car purchase, but it's what you'll discover at Ocean. Thanks a lot, Ocean and keep up the great work !

Worst experience every even after purchasing other car and even sending four other people to purchase New Honda's I'm two years. Also never received monroney sticker in vehicle and requested it over a four week period. Sadly had to file a complaint with Honda and state attorney general's office. Stear clear of this place.

We had a very pleasant experience buying from Ocean Honda. Everyone we dealt with at Ocean was professional, respectful, and pleasant. On the lot in our trade vehicle and off the lot in our near perfect used Honda in about 2 hours. Our salesman Scotty Hermann was what you want in a car salesman. Nice, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic without being pushy. The finance guy Andy was quick and efficient. He offered us the opportunity to buy an extended warranty and the other peripheral stuff that all dealers offer, but didn't try to pressure us or oversell. And a tip of the hat to A.J. Lopez, the salesman that I had previously talked to on the phone but who was with another client when we arrived. He made the effort to come over when there was a lull in the action and we all had a nice chat. I do my research and more or less know what we should pay for a vehicle and what our trade in should be worth to the dealer. After our test drive Scotty brought the dollar numbers and Ocean had honored their very reasonable internet price on the purchase vehicle and they were pretty much spot on with the value of our trade in. So I shook Scotty's hand and the deal was done. First time we have ever purchased a vehicle where we felt satisfied with the initial numbers the dealer offered. We really appreciated the fact that Ocean initially gave us fair numbers without any of the nonsense that happens far too often in the car buying process. I had the best experience this morning at Ocean Honda, New Port Richey, Florida. I emailed the dealership yesterday and Scotty Hermann called me back. What a great guy. I was at work so I couldn't talk long, but before we got off the phone I felt like I was talking to a friend. I had bought three Hondas from a dealership in Tampa since the mid 1990s, but in the last few years, they had acquired a bad reputation so I was looking for a new dealership. When I asked my friends and family with Hondas, they all told me to go to Ocean Honda. I am so glad I did. I got to the dealership at 10am this morning and was greeted in the parking lot. Scotty was great. It was raining on and off the entire time I was there, and poor Scotty kept running out in it because he didn't want me to get wet. When he brought me THE car, he synced my cell phone. I'm not saying that's what sold me on the car, but it definitely sold me on Scotty. After discussing the lease details for a few minutes with Scotty, I moved to the Finance Director's office, Brandon Maged. Brandon is another great professional who answered all my million questions and never made me feel like I was being "handled" or rushed. I didn't tell anyone at the dealership, but earlier in the week I was at a Toyota dealership in Tampa and had one of the worst experiences in my life trying to lease a car. I was there over four hours and went home crying. Every minute at Ocean Honda was relaxed and stress free. And I drove out at noon in my new CR-V completely comfortable with every aspect of the experience, the lease and the maintenance agreement. Thank you Ocean Honda, Scotty Hermann, Brandon Maged and everyone else at the dealership that made me so comfortable and confident.

My husband and I were in this weekend and purchased a 2013 Honda CRV. AJ Andrew Lopez was our sales associate. I just wanted to take a moment and let you know what a great job AJ did! I submitted a request for information off your website AJ responded. His follow-up e-mails were prompt and direct. Then we followed up with phone calls and he returned my calls when he said he would and with the information I asked for -- something not many people do these days. I have to say I was e-mailing another dealer ship at the same time AJs promptness and ability produce numbers was what won him the sale. And then we got to Ocean Honda the car we had decided on had sold right before we got to the lot AJ worked hard to find a very acceptable substitution -- and he did! He was very pleasant to work with and he worked quickly (which my two young children and I much appreciated)! My husband and I are very pleased with our new CRV and our experience at Ocean Honda!

Because of my husband's brain surgery, we went from 2 cars to 1. I needed something reliable. Sold his Escalade and traded my Envoy. The used car salesman--Casey??-was great. Picked out a used Honda Pilot with leather and third seat that I wanted. Took my daughter and son-in-law back the next day to buy it. The salesman was wonderful, the red-headed finance guy was not. Brusque-"You don't have to buy it"-etc. when we asked for back-up sensors and cargo net installed. The salesman got them for us ( I paid $250 for the sensors.). After driving the car for a week, I noticed that it seemed to surge and hesitate sometimes. Turning a corner, it would slow way down, then speed up. I brought it back to Service dept since I had a 1 year bumper to bumper. (When I asked the finance guy what that meant--(oil changes etc?)-he made a face that said DUH!! and said "Bumper to bumper." I still don't know what that covers.) Anyway, I brought it back to service 3 times for the surging/hesitation problem. If you get CJ as your service tech, ask for someone else. He never smiles, when you say something he gives you a blank look like he doesn't know what you are talking about. the Service dept said they could find nothing wrong with it. My family drove and felt what I was talking about. One time I called an made appointment to bring it in for that problem, they said they they would tell CJ. I went in to him and said, "I'm back." and he gave me that blank look. I said ,"didn't they tell you?" and he said No. I told him I was really disappointed in the Service dept and he nodded. The last time I brought it in, the service repair guy rode with me-he drove. When he turned the corner and it hesitated/surged, he said it was normal. When it did it while driving, he said the transmission adjusts for a 6" dip in the road thinking it was going down a hill. Nothing wrong. I went in to talk to the Sales Manager to see if they would do a buy back. He said the newer models had been redesigned, that he was in a hurry for a conference call and gave me to a salesman who tried to sell me a more expensive car. I left and ended up trading it in--at a big loss- for a Toyota Sequoia at Sun Toyota. I can't begin to tell you what a difference in their Service Dept--A++.

We test drove the car, picked out a color and that was it! It was a great experience. I called and went to several other dealerships prior to Ocean Honda. I have been wanting to buy a car for some time but nervous cause it was my first car that i would have payments on. Honda exceeded all expectations on customer service. My salesman A.J Lopez was up front and honest with me he took time to show me many cars and took my on test drives. Never once did i feel pressured or overwhelmed in the process of purchasing my car, he answered all my questions without hesitation. I felt very comfortable buying a car through this dealership. Came in today for my first Oil Change was met by Chris in the service department. He took me to his office typed in a few things and next thing I know I was sitting at the cafe talking with a wonderful lady Eva. This is like no other dealership I have been in. This dealership left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth. I spoke to an internet salesperson for the purchase of a good used Hyundai Genesis they had on the lot. I told them what I was willing to pay. He spoke to his managers and stated that I was $2000 low. I said no thank you. One week later I get a call from this same salesperson and he stated that they had a staff that morning and that they willing to accept my previous offer. I called back a few hours later to finalize the deal and to let them know I would pick up the car the next morning. I could not get a hold of the original salesperson but was later informed by the sales manager that my original offer had been turned down; this was after it had already been agreed upon!!! Do you really want to do business with a company that reneges on its promises? Worst dealership I have come across so far.

Fantastic Client Service they actually take the time to listen worked with Andrew. I stopped at a couple of dealerships and they were pushing me way to hard. A.J. was great. We went online looking for a new Honda Accord and A.J. called us within seconds. We made the trip up to Port Richey and was very satisfied with the dealership and all the employees. The process was quick easy and we were in and out in less than 1,5 hours. I will say that I will tell all my friends and family it is worth the small trip to Port Richey to do business at Ocean Honda. Straight up people to deal with. Thank you all again.

I had been looking for a car for a while and was thinking about doing a BMW etc... Out of curiosity I stopped at Ocean Honda. I was warmly greeted by Abraham who made it his mission to show me everything Honda could offer me. He was very personable and treated me as a human and not a sale. He didn't push and just showed me all my options. It was such a great experience and he also made sure to get me to a number I needed in order to make the purchase, The deal just made sense. I am super happy with my Accord Sport and it came with more standard options than the BMW would have at a much lesser price. Big thanks to Abraham for making a usually stressful experience into a smooth, happy one. I'll definitly be back and will recommend you to anyone I know looking for a car.

We requested Internet quotes. At the last minute, I also requested one from Ocean Honda. He quickly responded and said that he would match any previous price we had been offered. He invited us in and had the two colors we were interested in pulled up ready for us to take a look at. We had received multiple internet pricing quotes, and Scotty without hesitation honored the lowest price. We were so impressed with the dealership and friendliness of the staff, that we decided this would be the people we do business with. Scotty went above and beyond to work out our deal and to make sure we felt good about our decision. Then we went into the finance office, we qualified for the 1.9% financing, and without us expecting it, the finance lady said that she could give us a discounted rate of 1.7%. Now in a car dealership, that's honesty and integrity and I have only witnessed other dealerships trying to make money anyway possible, especially with the deal we received. Not the case here! We are very pleased and would recommend this dealership to any of our family and friends. Check them out, anytime you need service, they provide a loaner car, they provide lunch to their service customers that are there during lunch and have shuttles to the mall. We actually felt like everyone there was our friends. Now, the rest of the story.. My wife got the car on Saturday, and Sunday decided she would rather have the other color after finding that the two tone interior was available in both colors. We called and the dealership located one, brought it in, detailed it, and re-did the paperwork. That's why I took time to write this review. Above and Beyond, this dealership is going to grow and be around a long time with service like that! Go see Scotty or AJ, the internet sales guys for a great deal from the start, don't waste your time haggling at other places.. Never once did he say "Let me ask the Boss".

My family purchased a 2008 ACURA TL From Ocean Honda in Port Richey FL. There was some small issues to be handled after the sale that they were to complete, They fixed the tire monitoring system light that was on The chip that was in the driver view on the windshield And after cleaning a car that should've been cleaned myself because of the filth that was still remaining I noticed the turn indicator on the driver side mirror had condensation inside. I called the salesman right away to let him know he said that it would probably a gasket and they would take care of it. In turn they did not take care of it I called the sales manager who made the decision not to fix the car he told me that he can't fix everything. I explained to him that the driver chip in the windshield and the tire pressure monitoring system should've been taken prior to the sale I also purchased a extended warranty and said Why don't we be creative and use the warranty to fix the driver indicator he said well it is not broken so I don't think it can work I said is that where you stand and he said yes that was the end of our conversation. I will never buy another car from Ocean Honda or let anyone that I know by a car from Ocean Honda I suggest you go the other way and do not purchase a car from Ocean Honda.

It took me a week to realize the seat in my 2013 Civic was unbearable. I tried to trade it back in and was told I had to take a $3k loss and pay full sticker on the replacement. I only wanted them to minimize the profit on the second deal. They could care less about my happiness and want to take every penny they can squeeze out of me. I do not recommend this dealer, and will personally steer clear of Honda all together because of them.

We were looking to either sell or trade in our SUV and wanted either a 2012 or 2013 Honda. As soon as we were on the lot, we were greeted and given professional help and information by Jeff Winton. We hadn planned on staying longer than just to take a look but we set up a day to come back in that week and left. It was because of Jeff that we came back. I really appreciated his no pressure and straight forward attitude. We didn think the process of buying a new car with a trade in could be so quick and easy! The team and management at Ocean Honda gave us a very fair trade in value and I ended up leaving with the exact car I wantedcolor and everything. Jeff took the time to even help me set up voice commands for my phone and learn all the new accessories that came with the Honda Accord Sport. I love love love my new car and would recommend Ocean Honda to anyone looking to buy a car.

The customer service was fine on the surface, though I did feel pressured to buy right from the start. The problems started when I wanted to take the car to my mechanic to have it checked out. Had to bring it up repeatedly before the salesman would agree as he kept telling me that their mechanics had already checked it. My mechanic found dry rot, leaks, and cracked belts which the salespeople tried to pass off as normal wear and tear that didn't need to be dealt with. They wanted to increase the price of the vehicle if I expected them to take care of the problems before purchase. Needless to say, I walked away.

While visiting Florida, I decided to buy a new car for some relatives. I was very short of time. Abraham fulfilled every expectation that I have of a superior sales person whose goal is to help ME and not just to sell a car. Being rushed, he kept our meetings short. He offered what was a very fair price for the car. He answered all of my questions with professional knowledge. The car was delivered on time and since this was a surprise gift he kept the secret well when my relative came to sign the papers. I went to Ocean Honda to look at a used civic for my daughter and the first thing i noticed was that nobody pounded on us as we pulled in the car lot like at the other Honda store we visited the day before.. Everyone was kind and very helpful they even made us lunch at the cafe!! Never saw that before. We had great time while buying a car. Never thought i would say that either!! The price was right!! the people were great!! Oh thanks to the nice lady in the cafe for making us sandwiches.. I have one happy sweet 16 year old. I will tell all my friends and family...

I went online shopping for my Honda Accord. After contacting many dealers I realized that the same old trick and games are still being played.. I was told no high dealer fees at many dealerships. At Ocean Honda it is true no $700 $800 dealer fee. I was treated like family and the whole staff was great! I never had so much fun buying a car thank you Kenny and David for a great deal with no pressure. I will always buy at Ocean Honda. And will tell everyone I know....

Only an inherently BAD dealership can take a potentially good experience and turn it around into a negative one. Not only did they make off with a Class 3 hitch on our trade-in but that was not enough for them to get for free. Now someone has been using our Sun Pass transponder that was left on the windshield until they put it in the negative balance!! What a bunch of scums-of-the earth. This reveals the heart of the organization and demonstrates total disregard for their customers! They deserve to go out of business and I hope this helps that process!!!!

The sales end is pretty normal car dealer experience, pressured to buy and a little slight of hand, nothing out of the ordinary (be educated before you go in), however, the service side thats another issue. They are dishonest and conveneiently have no record of your multiple complaints at previous visits when the warranty was still in effect, and the same issue is still occuring after the expiration of the warranty. They are rude on the phone and treat the customer poorly. I work in a customer service industry and they could learn quite a bit. Look into MAGIC training for your representatives, and maybe they will refrain from calling your cusotmers liars. I am filing a complaint with American Honda and the State. Do business elsewere, you need not be treated in this manner when you are spending tens of thousands of your hard earned dollars.

Best I have ever been treated at a dealership, and I did not even buy my cars there. Price for service was more than fair, I was treated like a princess! (And I am no princess) Thank you, JR, in Service Dept., you are great!! And Anthoney in sales--I would buy a car from you! I went to this dealership before it became Ocean, and swore I would never set foot there again. I will go back until I have a reason not to. Very pleased!!

Awesome experience buying our 2012 CRV. Worked a deal over the phone (we knew exactly what we wanted and what we would pay) Chad agreed to our terms, sent us a fax stating the terms and gave us the trade in we requested for our Jeep. We have purchased many vehicles over the years and this was THE BEST car buying experience. I hope they keep up with the honesty, it sure would be refreshing and rare in this business.

We purchased a CRV today and could not be happier! We spoke with Chad over the phone and worked out our deal. Once we arrived we were in the good hands of Joe. They honored everything we spoke about over the phone and went above and beyond adding in a couple of items at no cost. We feel we got a very fair price for our new car and also a fair price for our trade in. Our new car would not be ready until the following day so they provided us with a loaner and get this, will deliver our new CRV to our home an hour away at noon tomorrow. They do not charge a "dealer fee" which we were told by Love Honda and Honda of Ocala that "all dealer charge this". I am happy to say this is not true and those other 2 dealers lie! Dealing with the financial department was also a dream! A big thanks to Chad and Joe for making our buying experience a great one!

I am sorry to say that I have never bought a car that did not have any gas in it the oil had 40mi before change they painted the front bumper looked like you tossed a hand full of sand on it and the rear spoiler the same way I had to take the wheel in to be repaired they did pay for that they said they would take care of the gas and oil but have not heard from them since except they sent me a referral thing.LOL right

It won't be surprise when the Florida Office of Attorney General gets enough complaints about his dealership advertising virtual inventory. Nothing more than a con man running a bait and switch operation. This from the top guy. Like they say buyer beware.

I had the worst experience I ever had with a car dealer, I spent over 5 hours with them and got no where like they promised and changed stories, the salesman kept running to owner with the figures that he so promised me he could work out. Then let the deal go for 20 dollars. Also told my husband in not so many nice words, what the last dealership did to us when we bougt from them. Same day I went to Wesley chapel nissan and got a better deal than Ocean could give us. ? Sorry for the bad review. Ps the salesman Carmine was only doing what he was told

Carlos was our salesman. He took great care of us. We felt the price was fair. We negotiated a little body work to be done. Took a couple trips to get it squared away but Carlos made sure it was done right. We were given loaner vehicles on both days. We'd recommend Ocean Honda and specifically Carlos. We'll be back.
