The guy at the parts desk was really nice! Had issues with my locking lug bolts so got me new regular ones and they installed them there for free. Saved me a headache for future repairs. Service desk was okay service but was glad they got it done there and then.

Thank you so much for your great service. I was beyond stressed out when my mechanic told me how much the repair on my vehicle was going to be. So I decided to find out if any of the repairs needed were still under warranty after talking to Phil he assured me that everything should still be covered and to bring it in. I took my car in the next day. He checked me in quickly with no wait time and asked if I needed a ride. Once he was done checking me in he told me he would call me later with an update and just like he said everything was covered. Not to mention the repairs my original mechanic had told me were needed turned out to be wrong. So I would have been out $645 and my vehicle would have still had the same problems. I would highly recommend Ontario VW and Phil to anyone who needed services or repairs on their VW. Thanks again for all your help!

After making an 'on line' appointment, and assigned to Phil, Jimmy 'checked me in', due to Phil working with another customer. Upon completion of the Phil explained the completed services, and 'checked me out'.As with previous service visits, Jim Straley has built a great team, always willing to assist each other, without comment or explanation. This is extended beyond Jimmy and Phil, to the 'behind-the-scenes personnel, that confirm appointments, as well as post service follow up calls.

I initially was contacted by Joe who I was able let know the specifics about the Golf Sportwagen I was looking for. Joe was very straight forward with their availability and was able to get me the car I wanted at a good price. I made an appointment to go for a test drive. Within just a few hours I was the owner of a new Sportwagen. I took delivery from Augie who was very friendly and able to run me through the features of the vehicle. I purchased my VW Jetta from Tim Johnson and was also assisted by his father, Greg. The sales phase was flawless as I knew it would be. My most recent service experience was the best ever. Robert Tabor reviewed the work to be done in detail and could not have been more courteous. I was hoping that a shuttle would be available to provide me with round-trip transportation to the nearest 24-Hour Fitness location. When I explained to Robert that the shuttle service generally handles drop-offs, but not pick-ups, he immediately arranged to have the shuttle service provide me with round-trip transportation.

Never ever have dealt with rude employees. At times you can tell they overwhelmed but never take out their frustration on customers. This recent visit I was concerned about my car and Jim was very helpful. They allowed me to leave my car overnight and they had my car ready early the next day. Impressive!

I called to schedule a 50,000-mile service on Tuesday and got scheduled for the next morning. James Willhide, our service contact, was busy with another customer, so one of the other service reps took care of getting the car into the shop. The vehicle ahead of ours on the alignment rack took longer than expected, so James made sure we were comfortable and arranged transportation to and from Bass Pro Shop so we could have lunch.Every service appointment we have had has been handled extremely well, to the point that we actually like going to the dealership!

My experience at Ontario VW service is always amazing. The service personnel are very accommodating and considerate. I did not have an appointment during my most recent visit but they took my car in right away. I could have waited in their nice waiting area but I got the shuttle to drop me off at home. I received a call from the service department and got a rundown on all the suggested repairs. When i went to pick my car up, the service attendant already applied a discount on my bill before i asked for it and further explained the additional repairs that my car would require. My car was very clean and running so good once I got in it. Could not be happier.

Needed warranty work. I was set up with a rental, car was fixed ahead of schedule, and all was good. I had pretty limited schedule flexibility with that work day, and they accommodated my needs very well.

I had a few things done at this dealership and one was covered under warranty which I only found out at this dealership. I have always kept loyal to a different dealership but after making the commute of over and hour to service my vehicle, I decided to try Ontario Volkswagon and the results have been amazing. I am overjoyed to learn that Jim, the service manager had the knowledge of the warranties for my vehicle. I'm not a dumb cookie, but having 86K miles on my car, I didn't think that any of my warranties were still in place....wrong. My other dealership was ready to charge me 1,200 for something that they should've known was covered. What a pleasant surprise to learn that I didn't have to pay out of pocket to fix the issue. Ontario Volkswagon won me over. I also had another issue which was quoted at 250. It was time to pick up the car and Jim, the Service Manager informed me that the time for this fix was longer than expected but since we had discussed price, he was going to honor the price given in the morning. How can you "Not" love this dealership. Holds true to their word, gives the customer the best service and has the knowledge of your vehicle when your miles are high and the most courteous as you drop off and pick up your vehicle.

My check engine light came on, I scanned it with my code reader and knew exactly what my car needed. I searched local dealers, and Ontario VW seemed to have good reviews, so that's where I booked my service appointment. Jay, at the service desk, was great to deal with. The work was done on time, clean and professional. They didn't over charge me, and didn't try to sell me on any BS that I didn't need. Thanks guys, for being honest and doing good work! I will bring my car back again for the next service.

A recall on my e-golf, this made me unhappy about my car already being recalled, however they got me in right away and reprogramed my car so it will not stall while driving. I sure would have liked to VW hat, however they did not have any pretty colors like blue

Did not have a Saturday morning appointment. Service advisor worked me in to schedule for recommended maintenance without hassle or admonishment. Service Advisor set expectations, work was done efficiently and completely, Service Advisor reviewed actions taken and recommended future actions to take, both personally and service department wise. Very professional and respectful. Parts Department was also equal to the standard set by the Service Department. Will definitely be back and even though I live 40 miles frontage dealership I will certainly recommend Ontario VW for both sales and service.

My Jetta 2012 needed a new battery after almost 4 years and I decided to take it to the dealer where we purchased it. We have always received excellent work and the staff is cordial and professional. While there my tech advisor informed me that a recall was needed for my car. I decided to have them do it there and it only took an hour for the recall to be complete. Now my car is running excellent, the battery problem is gone. I highly recommend Ontario Volkswagen for sales and purchase.

I always like vw bmw and of course benz. But the problem is, i dont have that kind of money to spend. What i mean i do have some money only if i can afford along with my other bills. I hope you guys can help me. Walk out driving with the choice of model that i have in mind. It may sound impossible, but i heard you guys are the #1 best vw bmw and benz car dealership all over the south land area. Not unless i could be wrong. Any way with my good intentions you can make it possible for me to buy a car from your lot with out any problems. In fact you can consider me a first time buyer honestly. Initially, I made an appointment with Ontario VW to have the battery replaced in my 2012 Passat SE. Lisa, in service, took care of me and made sure that I was up to date with all service records. I was the second owner of the vehicle. However, while waiting for my service to be completed, I decided to browse the current selection of VW's. I was greeted by Elizabeth who made a point of introducing herself and giving me the rundown on the current specials, as well as some awesome deals on their new vehicles. She wasn't pushy in the least bit and spent time with both myself and my girlfriend to show us around.She peaked my interest in exploring things a bit more and I ended up meeting with Jim from sales. I expressed a desire to check out the Tiguan and Golf TDI. Not hesitating, Jim took us outside and opened up several models. I ended up passing on the Tiguan, but test drove the Jetta SE and Golf TDI. Immediately, I fell in love with the Golf TDI. Several hours later, I completed the paperwork for my Golf TDI lease and traded in the Passat that I had originally brought in for service! Brian from finance took care of me and we got the paperwork signed quickly. There was no run around, no tricks, no hassle. Jim and Scott both worked to get me an acceptable deal and I'm now in a brand new lease with a lot of fun to be had.A huge, sincere thank you to Elizabeth, Jim, Scott, Lisa, Brian, and the rest of the Ontario VW sales team for their help! Give them your business. Low key dealership with people skills.

You know how car makers have their own motto's "...helpful xxx people.."? Ontario VW is your "Genuine & Helpful VW people." I've had my prior and current vehicle serviced and was assisted by Phil (Gibson)--who is quick & knowledgeable--to give the chunk of the diagnosis for your vehicle and Jim (Wilhide) who represents true Customer Service. Both men are exceptional and are very helpful. I highly recommend Ontario VW; they get the job done here. I will admit, I did not purchase my 2nd Jetta here, I went to Orange County. However, Ontario VW is now my vehicle's "primary physician." :) Lol And to leave on a great note, it is true as the saying goes about Volkswagen, "Das Auto."

I purchased a 2014 vw golf from this dealership about a month ago and they asked me to bring in the car after a month just to verify everything was running smoothly. i called in to make an appointment and the appointment i requested was available immediately! ill admit i was about 10-15 minutes late to my appointment. i was greeted by Phil who saw me waiting in line and brought me to the desk immediately he told me there was no issue and they could still take my car in for service. he originally told me the wait for the service was about an hour and a half even more i told him there was no problem. as i waited in less than 50 minutes my car was serviced and washed! i was very pleased with that. Phil was extremely helpful and friendly he went over details of the car with me and also talked to me about the dodgers ( i was wearing a dodgers shirts). he made me feel extremely comfortable and happy with the service provided. a short days later he emailed me to verify everything was alright. what a nice guy! thank you so much for everything!

spoke with Marlin who is head of sales at this dealership and one of his salespeople by the name of Mike this morning January 3rd, 2013 at around 9 am. Worst customer service ever! I asked them to quote me on a 2013 base model Jetta automatic and the idiot by the name of Mike starts quoting me on the wrong model car and when i proceeded to correct him he rudely cuts me off and his manager Marlin is also a complete CERTIFIED MORON! you don't need a whole lot of brains to work at this establishment that's for sure. Took my business elsewhere can't believe VW hires such brainless, mediocre people. They feed you all this crap and BS and treat you like you haven't done your research and are prepared they just throw all these ridiculously high numbers at you and are rude when you tell them what you know.

At the end of a 2 hour ordeal, I felt truly sorry for the salesperson who was trying his best to get me a deal on a Golf. Inexperienced, he relied on the finance guy on duty to work the numbers. But that guy and his sales manager were deceitful and disrespectful. I was eventually told to come back when my demands were more reasonable. Later that afternoon I bought the identical car at exactly the price I had offered Ontario VW. I hope the young salesperson does not follow the lead of his two 'mentors'. Advice to prospective buyers: do your homework and shop elsewhere.

On November 12 I flew from MN to The Ontario area to help my, newly relocated, daughter purchase a vehicle. She looked at different manufacturers in the area and was very high on VW. We first went to Ontario VW for a test drive, but they wouldn't discuss pricing below MSRP, that surprisingly, came from their Internet Sales associate. He lost a sale. The next day we went to another VW deal in Covina and bought a 2012 Golf.

Buying a vehicle from OntarioVW was Funtastic! The dealership has an easy to use web site to view the dealerships inventory; saving us time. We compared and selected a vehicle and contacted Anthony Reyes. He quickly provided us a quote and arranged for an opportunity to test drive. Anthony reviewed the vehicle we considered with us at the dealership and answered all our questions. Anthony was knowledgable about the vehicle and demonstrated unique features before the sales to help us finalize our purchasing decision and working with us through the negotiations and financing. Then later after the sales, provided us an overview the vehicle instrumentaton and controls so we were comfortable and safe with our new vehicle. We experinced no pressure sales or bait and switch tactics. The staff was professional and respectful, straight forward and they demonstrated their caring about customer service. This says alot about the OntarioVW dealerships customer commitment. "Customers come first". Thank You OntarioVW, for a great deal on a new Routan SEL.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER!!!Bad experience from the moment I took the car out for a test drive. Salesman texting during test drive, ignored my questions. Then when I started negotiating with the price, he argued with me practically yelling that there was no way that he was lowering the price since it was on sale. Sales mgr came out seemed like the gave a sh*t for a while. Anyway bought the car. 3 weeks later car service light comes on. I call ask him what the hell?!! He said well it might have been serviced already he didn't know. Week goes by, couple more days. Finally he says no it hasn't been done. Before purchasing I asked what services were due next I was told that nothing was due for 100,000 MILES!!! Anyway here it was a major service due all $600 worth!! I argue with him why I have to pay for this when I was mislead from the beginning? I hadn't even made the first payment yet! Couple days later, I am STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!! Car won't turn on for whatever reason! It is towed to the nearest dealer the following morning. I call Tim asking him if he knew of any problems with the car and why all these things are all of a sudden happening? I am upset, he said he will handle it. Fine car is ready in two days. Car drives fine all day long, I was told it was a fuse problem. I turn on the car to go to work the next morning and guess what?? The damn thing won't turn ONNNNN!!! So much for piece of mind eh?! I call the dealer he is saying once again he will fix it. Alright well that is great but it is Memorial day weekend and I am late to work again due to the problems with this car. I run to the nearest Enterprise there is nothing available for rent due to the holiday. I call Tim he ok's the extra fees on a premium car, he said he would take care of it. Then I am told I cannot take the rental car until I give them a P.O. number. I can't get the P.O. number until the car is delivered to the shop. Well 2 hrs later I am able to leave with a car. I get my car 7 days later. Car is fine. Week after that I drive over 100 miles to Ontario to get my service done free of charge. I get there only to be told that they had no idea I was coming and that I would have to pay out of pocket and the service takes 4 hrs or longer. I leave and contact Tim, he seems like he cares and apologizes. Car is serviced at the nearest dealer courtesy of Ontario. I then find out that Enterprise did not get paid by the dealer and ALL CHARGES CAME OUT OF MY ACCOUNT! I am told they are taking care of it and well after being ignored repeatedly, I have spoken with VW corporate and I still am not reimbursed for the charges and I am now taking this to court!!! I was told that I kept the rental car too long and now it I have to pay for it. Gosh they are SOOO NICE!!!

After four weeks from signing my contract and purchasing my vehicle, the dealership calls to tell me that my 60 month loan, which had already been "APPROVED" before I signed, is now unapproved after four weeks. The sales rep told me I needed to go back asap to sign a new contract for a 48 month loan which would increase my monthly payment by $55.00. In other words, this dealership is allowing their customers to enter into a contract and drive off the lot hoping that the loan stated in the contract will actually be approved by the bank and if it isn't they try and force you into a new contract or threaten to repossess your vehicle. Can you imagine if all businesses were like this? You buy a book for $10 on Monday and on Friday the bookstore calls to tell you that you owe an additional $5 because the cashier made a mistake. What a shady way to do business. By the way, I am taking this to the media and hiring an attorney.

When we brought the car in for service, we were late in arriving for our scheduled service due to traffic. We had called ahead to notify them of this, and they said that it was not a problem. We arrived at 10:30 AM, 30 minutes after the scheduled time, and from that point the car was not even looked at until after their lunch break. When we dropped the car off we were told that we would be notified by 2 PM to let us know what was wrong with the vehicle. 2 o'clock came and went, without a call from the dealership. I called twice after 2 to find out the status of our vehicle, and was told that they were still looking at it. At FIVE THIRTY, they finally called and told us that the service was not able to be done and that the car was going to be have to left overnight for the service to be completed. This was the first time that the car had ever needed to stay overnight at the dealership in order for the work to be done. When we called the dealership the next day, we asked to speak with the service manager to figure out what went wrong, and to see if there could be a reduction in labor costs on the work that was not covered under our extended warranty, due to their inability to keep to what they said. We were met with a service manager who was rude and who had no idea about the vehicle in question. He wasn't in the least understanding or sorry for the fact that his service team did not stick to their original plan. He also stated that his service desk called us twice around 2 o'clock to let us know that the car was not going to be ready until the next day. We had given them two different phone numbers to call us on, and after checking our phone records, neither of us received any phone calls. He basically insinuated that we were liars and that his service desk people were right. We did not get any discount on the work that needed to be done that was not covered under the extended warranty, and are now going to be going to another VW dealership, regardless of the fact that it is further away.
