I dropped my car off an hour early, fully expecting it to not be serviced until my appointment time - which was fine because I was dropping it off. The service department called me 1 1/2 hours after I dropped it off to let me know it was ready for pick up. This was 10 minutes after my appointment time. I was presently surprised it had been washed and vacuumed when I picked it up.

When I first visited the Center close to a month ago I ran into Kahn, who was new; he impressed me when he said to call him on his personal phone even on his day off. I did call him at home on a Sunday night after hours and he did answer me. He also made arrangements for me to get the car I was looking for even though it was 182 miles away. This is the 4th car I have purchased from Oro Dam Auto Center and each experience was equally well done.

My vehicle died as I was leaving Oroville while visiting a friend! I had no plan on having to replace my vehicle! Devon in the service center was straight forward and a pleasure to deal with. Quick quality service and no pressure to sell more service. Going to a dealership for service is what I typically avoid. I feared that going in for an oil change would lend way to find problems and put pressure on for repairs. It was not like that at all. The problems were addressed and prioritized and nothing more. I liked the fact that the dealer I worked with, Thai Lee, listened to me before he spoke. He helped me get the vehicle I wanted. And he was not overbearing. Our discussions were candid and reasonable.I also appreciated the comfortable atmosphere at Oroville Toyota. There was a spirit of camaraderie, kindness, and respect among everyone-- from dealers, to those in finance, to those in service. Because that existed, I felt comfortable and not anxious. It may not seem like much, but it is huge.

They listened to our "want to test drive" list, didn't push us for a same day decision (we had mentioned it was our first day of shopping.) Provided answers to our questions, speaking directly to the person asking the question, not just the "presumptive" decision maker. (I.e., no perceived gender bias.) We came back a second day for more test drives, and a third to decide between our top choices. At no time did they act as if we were wasting their time. We didn't feel pressured at any point. Now we own a car without the slightest hint of "buyer's remorse".

However, understanding that we are in a drought and a car wash would be wasteful, it would have been so appreciated if the service center had taken the time to vacuum and wipe out the inside of my vehicle before returning it. Friendly service, explains costs and what needs to be done to my car. I also like the fact that they have a shuttle service so I don't have to wait in the waiting room...they take me back to work and pick me up when my car is ready.

Poor customer service and lack of concern for quality work in the service department. I took my 2007 Chevy Colorado in to get an oil change today. After the oil change I opened the hood to find oil all over inside engine compartment. Evidently the technician must have started the engine with the oil cap either off or not properly secured resulting in oil being sprayed inside the engine compartment. Instead of cleaning up the mess, the truck was presented to me as finished and ready to go. When I brought the truck back in to be cleaned up the service department acted as if it was no big deal. Mistakes like a loose oil cap are bound to happen, but when a business doesn't care enough to clean up a mess that says something about the quality of their work and their work ethic.

Everything from start to finish! Welcomed when entering the Service Department, Mr. Danny Lopez explained the services that would be performed in detail (routine maintenance and recalls), since I drive from out of town because Oro Dan Auto Center is such a good auto center I waited for my car. Mr. Lopez provided updates about the progress of my car. He was respectful and polite. Upon completition, Mr. Lopez reviewed the services that were done and gave me an update as to what the technician found during the work.

Joe hustled out to greet us then after a few questions he went back inside without a word, just walked off and left us. Brian then came out and answered our questions, took us on a ride, came back and closed the deal. He was very helpful. At the end we found out that Brian would have to share the commission with Joe which I don't think is fair since Joe did nothing to close the deal.

Apologised , was professional e'nuff to admit should have turned on/tried-out before removed from wk. bay-admirable. Tundra- concerned about effects on x'cess debris that might effect floating from tank additive,since i also requested inj. flush.Rep explained,guess i appeared perplexed,so suggested i talk to tech who repeated,thought again and stated,stuff was being dissolved in the tank,no loosening. Outstanding response by rep and tech, taking the time for customer!

Joe Spada and Ignacio seem like very nice relatable people who I could probably hang out with at a BBQ or something. That makes it much easier to deal with them when buying a car. However some of the cars I have seen have been really dusty, sometimes even inside. I'd say hiring someone who can keep the cars and trucks cleaned regularly would be a great idea. Oh and the cars with leather seating. Put a New Car scent in every one of them. I looked at one awhile back that just smelled awful.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! WORST CAR DEALERSHIP I'VE BEEN TO IN 20 YEARS OF PURCHASING VEHICLES. Nightmare transaction from the start, with a salesman luring us out 2.5 hours to the middle of nowhere, and then having the finance director try to nix the transaction despite perfect credit. Sold my gf a 2wd truck even though we mentioned the need for 4wd on multiple occasions and he knew we live in a heavy snow area SKI RESORT TOWN.As you can see from the other review -- apparently this dealership has a problem with knowing whats 4wd or not. To boot, the prices are not at all competitive, despite their claim that they "have to have the lowest prices to get people out there." The truck was sold $1,000 OVER recommended purchased price for the 2wd version.I realize that makes us sound stupid, but our only stupidity was being too trustful of a car salesman who acted like he was checked out the entire 8 hour day and assuming that he was showing us 4wd cars like we asked.

I was excited when I first came and saw what I was looking for.At the price that I said. It was a very nice truck. Just what I was looking for. When I came back with the person who would drive it, it was a whole different story, (a price that was way out of range) but it ended up fine. I was not happy, but ended up that way. Your people are very nice and did every thing they could to make us (me) feel better. I was ready to leave & forget it. But glad I didn't, as I think the car will be just fine for the time we have left if it does what you sat it will. (I didn't know what to put on "Qty of repairs" as I don't know what they did)

We had our car up for sale. We were contacted by this dealership and they wanted to buy our car. We indicated the amount of the current offer. They told us they could beat it. They indicated that they had already visually inspected the car as it was on an FSBO lot for the weekend. Further, we had the current NADA and KBB information posted on the car as well. We gave the salesperson the particulars on the car and he asked for the VIN so that he could get all of the detailed information. They emailed us a written offer not only higher than our current offers but $200 over our asking price (still a couple thousand lower than book value). We double checked on the amount since dealers usually don't give that much for a used car. The salesman indicated that they checked the VIN, the CARFAX and since they had already seen the vehicle that the offer was legitimate - no strings attached. We accepted their offer. Lo and behold - a couple hours before we were to head to the dealership - we get a message. They could no longer honor their original offer, but would still buy the vehicle significantly lower then their original offer (even lower than trade in value). They indicated they made a mistake and thought it was 4WD based on a form we never filled out. My husband had verbally told him it wasn't 4WD during the first phone conversation, the KBB and NADA book values posted on the windows indicated that the car was 2WD, the CARFAX and VIN records also all indicate that the vehicle is not four wheel drive. They clearly and purposefully offered us more money so that we would get rid of other buyers, take their offer, and then they switched the offer. The dealer refuses to return our call or emails. The salesman basically said, too bad so sad. We have everything in writing and all pictures to show we are right. They embody the used car dealer stereotype.

I was very satisfied with my experience dealing with Oro Dam Auto Center. I had the pleasure of dealing with Nick, who was very personable and attentive to my needs as far as what I was looking for in a vehicle. I have two children so I needed a vehicle that would accommodate them. I started out looking at an older SUV type vehicle, but I was concerned about gas mileage, frequent maintenance, safety, longevity and reliability. So with all of my concerns taken into consideration, Nick brought out a soon-to-be-mine 2009 Toyota Corolla instead. It was in great condition, gets great gas mileage, and met my family needs. Although this vehicle was a little more than I had planned on spending, the dependability and endurance that Toyota is known for made my purchase extremely worthwhile. The sales manager was able to get me approved for a loan with manageable payments that fit within my budget and my warranty covers everything that I could possibly be worried about. I have had my vehicle for over a year now and Ive had no major issues arise out of the ordinary. When Ive had to bring my vehicle in for maintenance, the service has been speedy, affordable, and high quality. Thank you Oro Dam Auto Center for making a very stressful experience such a pleasure!
