I was browsing cars.com for a used car, I found one I thought I was interested in at Palm springs Volvo subaru. I phoned the dealership and spoke with gilbert who informed me the car and was available, so I test drove it the next day. I was pleased no pressure was put on me to purchase and I was also informed there was a similar car which was available at a reduced price, I also test drove this vehicle. being close to closing time on that day I went on my way, informing Gilbert I would get back to him if I was still interested. I became ill several days later and forgot about the car(s). being true to his words Gilbert made no attempt to pressure me into buying the car(s). I was pleased no pressure was put on me.several weeks past and I recovered somewhat so I looked at cars.com and found the car I originally was interested in was still available. I phoned Gilbert and he informed me the car was still available and was reduced to basically a wholesale price.I returned to the dealership the next day, Gilbert had it washed and up front for me to drive. I bought the car, took less than 1.5 hours, I was offered an extended warranty at a good price but declined, there also was no pressure to buy it. bill the used car sales manager informed since the battery had gone dead on the lot, a new battery was ordered and would be put in before I took delivery, I came back a couple hours later and drove my car off.as I like to detail my own car and was doing so the next day, I noticed the windshield cracked on the car, it was in an inconspicuous area which both the dealer and I overlooked. I returned to the dealership that Sunday morning, bill asked if I could leave the car as not to make the fracture any worse. I did and and I was offered a courtesy car or a ride home. I took a ride home.bill informed me the next day the windshield could not be repaired and the cost to me would be to push potential customers to Palm springs Volvo Subaru. thus I wrote this review.this is a great dealership to shop in Palm springs, I had a most pleasing experience there. I highly recommend of you are looking for a vehicle to visit them on the 111 on the palm springs/ cathedral city line. I believe I got a good vehicle at a good price with no exorbitant add on dealer fees. the staff are honest and friendly. I have bought many vehicles from many dealership's and found this dealership one of the best I've ever encountered.check them out, you won't be disappointed!

We drove from San Diego to buy a used Subaru. We had talked to the used car manager and another salesman several times on the phone and had agreed on a price. The salesman we talked to told us we had first right of refusal. We were told the car was not ready to be shown on Wednesday so we said we would come Thursday. Then they said it wouldn't be ready until Friday. On Friday we called 1 hour before we left San Diego and they said it was ready for us to test drive. When we got to Cathedral City, our salesman was off for the evening. The salesman that was there, said he had been working with a buyer on the car. While were test driving the car, the salesman called his client and told them to come right over now or someone else was going to buy the car (us). The other person showed up and so this salesman would not sell the car to us. We drove back to San Diego VERY unhappy and unimpressed with this car dealership. Hope you have better luck!

We love our Volvo! With that said use caution when dealing with service at PS Volvo. They will recommend needless repairs that will cost you money. To make it worse, repairs they do make are often in need of a do-over. If you do not understand the mechanics of an automobile you cannot trust them! Seek service elsewhere!

I've purchased 4 cars from the dealership over the years. Occasionally service makes mistakes fixing my car, but they always make it right. A sales process. Very easy.
