Justin Roepel was great dealing with in getting our new soul. Very friendly made you feel very comfortable really listen to what you wanted and looking for in the car not trying to get you to buy something you didn't want. My husband really hates dealing with car salesmen but he really enjoyed dealing with Justin first time he actually said he would recommend a salesman to friends. Justin thank you very much for making our purchase very comfortable. Love our Soul .

From the moment I introduced myself to Tim he made me feel very comfortable and at ease!! Listening to what my wants was and immediately started helping me with my goals! Tim was awesome! If I ever need another car, I would ask Tim to help me again. He worked with me and helped me with finding a car and getting everything I needed taken care of. The reason I didn't give the 5 star rating was due to the finance guy. He just came off like an arrogant a--hole. He kept telling me that Kia was losing money selling me the car, told me that he wasn't giving anything away for free. I spent over 6 hours at paramount and the last 45 mins dealing with the finance guy was the worst. All in all, I would tell anyone and everyone to buy a car from paramount, with the exception of dealing with the fiance guy I dealt with. After getting this review, Paramount called me and gave me 2 oil changes and 2 car washes to say they were sorry for what I dealt with.

Even though I had a very strict budget, Justin Roepel didn't treat me any differently than someone who could spend five times as much. I knew I wanted to buy a used Kia thanks to the brand's reliability, fuel economy, and overall quality, and I was specifically interested in a Kia Soul, but unsure if I'd be able to find one in my budget. So even though I was open to any Kia model, when I saw the Kia Soul (which I eventually bought thanks to it being in my price range) and took it for a test drive, I was a goner. There was no other car for me. During the entire process, Justin was personable, friendly, and extremely helpful. He even put up with my goofy dad, which is amazing. There were no high pressure tactics, no tricks used to make me feel if I didn't buy, I'd be missing out. Basically, it was the most pleasant car buying transaction I've ever been through--highly recommended!

It was a extreme pleasure working with Teudi, Dustin, Andy & Cathy. I was looking for a Kia Forte that had the Autonomous Collision Alert System. They did not have one in stock but was able to find two at another dealership. It was worth the wait while they worked their magic to secure this car for me. It is a 2017 Kia Forte S white with dark interior. I would highly recommend this dealership. Kia's also have the best warranty of any car on the market.

Paramount Kia of Hickory advertised that a customer who test drive the vehicle gets $25.00. My fiance and I drove one & did not get a single penny for doing so. I was note credited for the 2 brand new Michelin front tires place on my Kia Sorento 2006. Also I have a trailer hitch on my 2006 that cost $500.00 not got credited or reimbursed for that matter. Buying vehicle was a nightmare for waiting to get it process (2:00 p then went back at 8:30 a ) not done til 2 p. A NIGHTMARE !

Was a wonderful experience. Everyone was friendly. Joey Lipford was great. Nice, helpful and genuinely nice. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. Buying process was as expected with some back and forth, but overall a good experience. In the end went above and beyond and was able to close a deal on a brand new 2016 Kia Soul. Wasn't pressured at all to buy anything, I was given options to choose that were best suited for me and my budget. I would recommend Paramount Kia of Hickory to anyone looking for a vehicle upgrade. You have to check them out. Loving my new Soul. Super fun to drive!

We were so pleased with our experience at the KIA Dealership. The staff was exceptional, especially our sales associate Matt Angle! Matt made our car buying process a breeze. He was genuinely interested in our life story and wanted to make sure we got the vehicle to best serve our needs. Not only was Matt very patient as we asked more than a few questions and test drove a number of cars over the course of a week, he was kind and not pushy at all. During the time we spent with Matt the negative preconception of a 'car sales man' was replaced with a new found friendship. Matt was so much more than a sales person to us and we were blessed to be able to work with such an upstanding man. We look forward to working with KIA and Matt in the future!

My husband and I have been looking for a mini-van for a little while now. Although our children are grown and we had downsized our vehicle previously, we have adopted my 79 year old grandmother and 2 grandbabies, with another on the way. We love to have them all but my 5 passenger Rogue was no longer large enough. We have test driven a few other vehicles but they either weren't what we were looking for or we just couldn't get the numbers right for us. Matthew Angle posted a picture just yesterday of a 2012 Honda Odyssey, that looked to be just what we'd been praying to find. My husband just so happened to be in the area when I texted him about it. I know that Bro. Matt is an honest person and would never put us in anything that wasn't a good vehicle. You're not just selling cars, you're selling your reputation and character. We were able to purchase this vehicle without the usual hassle, buy something that we really wanted and needed instead of just what we could afford, and do it in half the time we've spent buying vehicles in the past. This will make our 4th purchase from Paramount Kia, 2 of those being new car purchases. We have NEVER experienced any issues or problems with the sales team, or service dept. I recommend Paramount Kia to anyone looking for a new or used car, and would absolutely recommend Matthew Angle. Thanks!

I found a car on auto-trader. The price was fair (Kelly Blue Book).. Tim was not high pressure, just helpful and pleasant. The transaction was painless and quick. No upselling other than to just ask if we wanted extended warranty or GAP. This dealership was awesome. I wasn't force into the purchase the vehicle. They told me I was a approved before I went to the dealership and I didn't believe it because I was told that same thing with previous dealerships. We chose Paramount Kia because we had read good things about Kia vehicles and Paramount Hickory is the closest to our home. We were welcomed right away by Justin Roepel, a sales associate. He worked with us throughout the whole process and we were very pleased. We never felt pressured or uncomfortable. He told us that he hadn't been with Paramount Kia very long, but was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was quick to answer any questions we had or find someone else who could. He was even great with our 6 year old daughter. Everyone we dealt with there seemed to genuinely want to get us in the perfect vehicle for us, and worked with us on getting our monthly payments close to what we needed them to be. Their facility was clean and comfortable. After purchasing our vehicle, Justin took us out to it and went over every detail of the car to make sure we were comfortable with everything and understood how everything worked. We have called and emailed once since our purchase with questions and received quick and helpful responses. So far, we have been very pleased with our new Sportage, and are very glad to have the wonderful warranties that they offered.

Tim patiently let us explore options, answered questions, but DID NOT HOUND US TO DEATH.Seriously, some dealerships are so persistent that it takes away any job of buying. Tim followed up, but without harassing us. The Optima won us over, as did the cleanliness of the dealership, the service department, and Tim. Tim got the job done. Way back in the late 90's when Kia wasn't as common a name as now, I purchased my first Kia for my sons high school graduation gift. I was amazed at the amount of car that you could get for so little money. Since then everytime that I am ready to buy a new car I just don't even bother to look anywhere else. The process is simple and not time consuming. My last 3 purchases were Kia Optimas. In my 2015 Optima I stopped in heavy traffic and was struck in the rear by a SUV traveling at 55-60 mph. Everyone was amazed that my wife and I walked away. The car was totalled but we lived. So My first stop was to Paramount to replace it with a 2016 Kia Optima. We got to the dealership at 1PM and left at 3Pm with our new car.

I have been a long-time customer of this dealership. When it came time to change vehicles, I decided on a lease this time. Tim Whitener was very patient with me in giving me pertinent information on the lease program that was being offered, since I had never leased before. He brought me the vehicle that I was considering to sit in and see if I was comfortable in it and I liked it very much. At my request, he gave me price points for 10K, 12K and 15K miles per year. I asked him to give me about ten minutes to decide, which he graciously did. I chose the option was right for me. He then took me to Tim C's office to do the paperwork. As kind and as courteous as Tim W was, Tim C in Finance was not very personable. Even when I attempted chit-chat, he was very aloof. Good thing was, my paperwork was done quickly. He explained the forms well enough but he seems to be all business and not very affable. But, all in all, a good experience thanks to Tim W. Thank you so much.

I purchased a used vehicle here for my daughter. I paid cash for it. It was to be a surprise for her. They were not very helpful in working out a way to get the car in her name. I was willing to pay for everything then and finish the paper work after we presented it to her (2 or 3 days later) but they would not let us even take the key. So we worked a way to get her husband there to put the title in his name. So I give them a cashiers check and then was totally ignored with the exception of when the "financial officer" smarted off to me about everything being in "his name" (my son-in-law's). I mean what right did I have to expect an answer or acknowledgement....I just paid for it. My son in law was just there because they wouldn't work with us. He had nothing to do with it. I will add that the salesman, Alex, wasn't too bad. The car we purchased was nice enough. I now need to purchase a car for myself but am not planning on going back to Paramount Kia to look.

Ok, so I had made up my mind 6 months ago to buy a new Kia when my old car was due to be replaced. And when I first walked in the door I was noticed & approached by several people and welcomed, even though I had contacted by phone my sales professional T. Alex Cochran the day before. Alex picked me up at my home and brought me to the dealership & we settled into the question & answer session comfortably. Alex is friendly, easy to look at & pays very close attention to whatever it was I was saying. He never once made me feel uncomfortable about any question asked and was patient & let me take my time to answer. I asked him for some coffee & he walked me back to the machine & made sure I was happy with it. That helped me to relax when facing the credit manager, the step that came next. So, to shorten the process here let me say that I was never nervous with Andy the credit guy either. Both of these men smiled so much and easily I have to comment on it here. I was treated like I was their mom or sister and made the whole process of buying a car the most wonderful experience in that category I have ever had, straight up no BS. I am in my 6th decade of life and trust me gone through plenty of car buying experiences. Paramount Kia asserts itself well by way of media through its' commercials and any other way such as the building here in Hickory as you drive by it everyday. Please know that anyone would feel comfortable in my humble opinion buying a car from this dealership as they have their process down to a science . The science of people pleasing and making your feel appreciated. I had worked in customer service for many years and so Kia staff did go above and beyond my expectations. Know that you have a precious jewel in your first contact member T. Alex Cochran. I gave him many props & atta boys to his fellows already at Kia because he is professional, courteous, warm , caring, kind and empathy to the max. degree, intelligent & knows how to communicate with whomever walks through your door no matter their background. A totally different experience I have ever had in a new car dealership. Not pressured, and dealt with like a real person and not another sale. Went to purchase a Soul in honor of my 17 year old daughter who passed away unexpectedly about 2 months ago. Wanted a Soul in tribute to her since her dream was to get a Black Soul. Was wanting to keep it within reason, so looked at plus models but one or two features just did not come up on those. Randy Rosenbalm the salesman was excellent. We ended up getting a exclaim model for at an extraordinary price with the features that was missing on the Plus for right at the same price all the the other dealers were offering the plus at. IN fact I think it has all the bells and whistles on it available on a Soul. The sales team was great especially Randy. If you go there see Randy. He;s a real person and a different salesman. The finance fella was great and forgive me I forget his name. The others listed where awesome also. I had a number for all of the deal in my mind, and I when I got the deal it was close, but I said this is what I needed numbers wise for the deal and the trade and in less than 5 minutes, they came back and so we'll do it.I will send any one I know of, looking for a Kia here and when times comes will return myself. The whole atmosphere is different here from anywhere I've been and believe me over the years I've seen many. God Bless Paramount Kia in Hickory. After explaining to the sales rep exactly what we wanted and needed, he was able to give us three options which were all perfect. The deciding factors were balancing the lowest price with good features. When getting the financial side done the payment was not what we were looking for, so the finance rep went back and showed us how removing the extended warranty brought the price down to where we wanted it to be... We were well taken care of from start to the end of our 6 hour stay at the dealership.

But after looking around...we decided to trade in our 10 year old van...and upgrade to a new Forte. I emailed and inquired about a certain vehicle and set up an appointment for the next day. We showed up, test drove it, and then within 2 hours later, had finalized the deal. Watching television, the Paramount Kia commercial came on. This caught my attention. Recently being left carless, I was on the search for another vehicle. Frankly, I did not believe that I could get a car due to my questionable credit score. So I decided to give it a shot. This is when I met Dustin Estes and he was absolutely AWESOME!!!! I now own a Kia Soul and have very affordable payments. They made sure that I was leaving with my car and worked with creditors. I am so happy. I would recommend Paramount Kia to everyone.

I was very pleased with the reception and help I received from Bobbi Williams showing me the cars, giving me information on how each one was set up. The time spent in showing the different style of cars was very helpful in deciding what I wanted. There was no pressure to decide in a hurry. The chance to drive it overnight was wonderful. I ended up with an Optima and the roominess and smooth ride was great too. The credit department and signing to purchase my car made it easy too. I would certainly recommend Paramount Kia of Hickory, NC to anyone. I have already showed the car to family members and they were very impressed with style and drive.

I purchased a used Lincoln Town Car from Paramount a few months ago. They gave me one key for the car. I asked them to contact the former owner of the car and have him to bring the other keys and the door code in to the dealership. They told me that they would pay for a new key and have a technician to get the code for me at another Dealership. I went to a Ford dealership to have this done and when the service manager called them to arrange for the payment they avoided me when I called them. The dealership that I went to for the service wouldn't do it without payment from Paramount first and Paramount never has done anything they said they would. I went to WalMart and had a key made myself but I still have no door code so my keyless entry is useless. THEY TOLD ME A LIE and this cost them at least 3 sales over the next few weeks.

Went right to the stock # of the car I viewed online. Test drove it and with in 1 hour we were on our way. Christian and all the folks at Paramount Kia were knowledgeable and courteous. WE LOVE OUR NEW CAR!!! Both of my parents have health issues that make it hard for them to get in/out of a car. Our previous vehicle was a Jeep Liberty and believe it or not my SOUL is alot easier for them to get in/out of. It has more leg room & my father no longer complains about being bounced around. Carlton Garris, my salesman, was very helpful. He didn't push me into buying a car I didn't need (like my previous sales experience at another dealership). He helped with setting up all the "gadgets" in the car that I had no earthly idea how to set up. The gas mileage is great. I have "NO COMPLAINTS" whatsoever. My parents are also very pleased with our choice. Thank you, everyone at Paramount KIA for helping me make their life easier!

Sandra and Bobbi were great helping our family get a new dependable car. They welcomed us in and did not judge us for our situation, credit score or trade ins that we had. The car buying experience was made easy. Tim crowder also was a big help and stayed in touch with us until the process was over. But, I am not happy with the detailing part of service. Left stickers on windows, didn't clean windows, scratched back of trunk, took floor mats and have to chase them down to get it back. One detail guy took pictures of car when we left now we are here for the third time to get it cleaned. The car already has a miss in it and Bobbi scheduled us yo get it fixed and they didn't put his in system so now we have to wait two more weeks to car looked at.

Had only made two payments on my new Kia Soul from Paramount, when I was involved in an accident. After dealing with insurance, repairs, being told my new car was going to be totalled, because of the air bag deployment (seriously?), I stopped by Paramount to see what, if anything could be done to help. Even though I had no trade in, not cash reserve, and good but very little credit ratings, inside of 1 1/2 hours, Tim Whitener had me in another new Kia Soul, and my payments only went up a little. Went to Paramount first because they are a corporate season sponor for Hickory Community Theatre, where I am Production Stage Manager. I have and will continually highly recommend Paramount Kia to anyone looking for a new, or grand quality used vehicle. I bought a car there not too long ago. I told them I didnt want any warranty, abd we agree on a decent deal. The next thing I know, they decide to put warranty anyway. I called to cancel it again, they said they'll get it fix. A month later, nothing has happen and my payment and amount still the same. Even the sales person is bad, lie about buying me gas. But decide to hide from me after i bought the car. Never been to a horrible place like this. Pleas be aware if you plan to buy car here!

We have been going to Paramount KIA for service the past two years. They have always been reasonable, honest and friendly. While having my 2010 Optima serviced we were walking the lot to pass the time. Of course the sales department noticed but didn't intrude on our looking. Eventually salesman struck up a conversation without being forceful about sales. Just friendly and offering some services they could provide if we wanted to look at any vehicle. My wife noticed a used truck with less than 6000 miles on it. Soon we were test driving it discussing a deal. We laid out our parameters on price, trade-in etc. They went out of their way to meet our desires and we closed that day. IT WAS STRESS FREE plus laid back, none of the high pressure sales you often deal with. We were so impressed that we returned 3 weeks later with my 2010 Optima and made another deal for a new 2015 Optima.NEED I SAY MORE! Carlton, you rock!

My husband bought a 2014 Rio in March of 2015. This was the 6th car we had bought from Paramount in the last 15 years. At the time of every other purchase, the dealer handled the change over of the insurance from our old car to the new one. On this occasion the person doing the paperwork got all our insurance information and said he would call and make those changes for us. In August my husband had an accident in this new car. When we called our insurance agent to start a claim, we were told that we had NO insurance on the new car. Then car we traded in was still on our policy. Clearly the Paramount person did NOT do what he said he would do. When we called Paramount to ask for their help with this, we got no response. We called and spoke to 4 or 5 different people. When we finally got someone to call us back and talk to us about it, the answer was that they were not responsible for our problem. If you buy a car from these people, be sure to check behind whatever they tell you because they are not responsible to do what they say. Also, I put this review up last month and they took it down the same day.

I was looking for a used Prius and I found one at Paramount Kia of Hickory. I needed the car promptly which I explained to the agent. The car needed another cargo cover in which I asked the sales agent to get for me before I agreed to purchase the vehicl. The service agent (Josh Johnson) damaged the car due to carelessness. I was still willing to purchase the car becauseI felt everyone deserves a second chance, however Mr. Johnson kept giving me the run around. Needless to say five days later I had no car and Mr. Johnson had the nerve to tell me there was nothing he could do for me but give me an apolpgy because they ordered a new cargo cover. They refused to honor a $100 certificate which I printed out from their website for the purchase of any new or used car.An apolpgy was not good enough because these people wasted my time and lied to me about the damages caused by their employee to the car. I will never use this car dealer again, not to mention the service was very unprofessional.

Paramount Kia did a great job in making purchasing a vehicle a good experience for me and my granddaughter. We went online to their website to look at the vehicles they had to offer & found a car that seemed interesting. We contacted the dealership via the website & was promptly called the next morning. Danny Hunt set up an appointment for us and was really helpful in assisting us when we arrived. He showed us the 2015 models and explained the benefits of purchasing a new car. However, my granddaughter was interested in a particular car she had looked at and decided it was "the car" for her. She decided on a 2013 Kia Rio which fit her budget at a good price. The entire process went smoothly and I felt we were treated with respect in regards to our wishes & the things that were important in our decision. I would recommend Paramount Kia in Hickory, NC & especially Danny Hunt.

We searched online for a car and found one at Paramount that we really wanted. When we got there, the car had been sold just the night before. We were disappointed, but the salesman was determined to find us something we would like. He sat down with us and talked to us about what we needed and really got a sense of who we were. He didn't try to sell us on something just because it was available. He really worked with us. When we found the one we wanted, we had an easy enough time doing the paperwork. I recommend bringing documentation with you if you want to take a car home the same day though! They needed check stubs and verification of address to apply for financing. The Financing department was very helpful in explaining the loan and our expectations. Our interest rate was higher than expected, but we are first time car buyers with no money down. We drove home in our car the same day even though they still need one check stub from my husband! We have lower credit scores and still got approved for a loan! We were very excited about getting approved and being able to drive home. The car we got was absolutely perfect, even though it was one model year old. It came with a factory warranty still valid, and they did a full detail inside and out before we left. The whole experience was pain free and very relaxed.A few notes: Be prepared to be there all day if you go on the weekend. We were there for four hours total!!!! Most of the time was spent waiting on the bank to approve/deny us. Leave the kids at home. We have a three year old and I did not expect to be there so long. There is NOTHING for kids to do there, and he was extremely bored. He ended up running all over the place for several hours, and the salesman did give him a balloon from a car, which helped for a little while. There are not "customer refreshments" short of coffee and water. I was a little disappointed in this, considering how long we were there. SHORT VERSION: Great service, friendly staff, easy process, but a long wait on the weekends and no entertainment/good refreshments.

I had looked at several car dealerships in choosing a new SUV; the KIA Sportage is the one that clicked for me. Carlton was an easy-going sales representative, very personable and helpful answering our questions. The financial representative was also easy and pleasant to work with. The only feature I wanted that wasn't present was a sun roof which they have agreed to provide for me through their service department. The car is stylish, comfortable, and feels very solid as I drive it. One question to their service department was answered very courteously.

Past experiences with buying cars have left my husband and myself feeling sick when we left the dealership after a purchase, but with Paramount Kia, we really had a pleasant experience and felt excited when we left with our new 2014 Optima. The warranty really gave us peace of mind and the experience, although it took longer than we wanted, was painless. Playing christian music in the dealership was truly enjoyable. Takes a lot these days for businesses to play christian music for fear of hurting ones feelings who may not believe and to take this stand made us feel we had made the right choice.

After doing some online research on the K900, I decided to go to Paramount Kia Hickory and see if I would like the K900. Wow, was I impressed. My salesman, Tim Whitener, treated me exceptionally well. He took me out for a test drive and explained all of the features and benefits of the car. There was no pressure at all from Tim for me to get the car. This is my 4th Kia that I have gotten thru Paramount Kia Hickory, so I felt very comfortable using their dealership. Also, I go to Preston, one of the service advisors, whenever I need service work on any of my vehicles. Chris Williams was easy to work with on the finance side, as well. Pulled up to the dealsership thinking I was gonna get kind of pushed and harassed by salesmen into getting a car..This dealership shatters those worries and inhibitions within minutes.I am also a sales person myself, so, I'm usually super critical of other people trying to sell me stuff but Jim, the salesman I spoke to and dealt with, was super nice and personable. I actually felt like he had my best interest at heart instead of his own. This is extremely important to me. His demeanor was very organic and I didn't feel like he was putting on a sales character (like how some salesmen will say the same lines/jokes/ whatever else to every customer) I felt like he was talking to me specifically and it was greatly appreciated.I went in looking for some used cars because mine had broken. i had looked at a Honda CRV and a Kia Sportage. Both were very nice and I liked them, but wasn't thrilled with them and only tried to get them out of necessity. Some things happened with the financing and loaning that prevented me from getting either of these cars. Jim hunted around and thought about everything, and my specific situation, and he came to me with a 2012 Kia Soul. Not only would it help my financing issue, but it was a better car all around in my opinion. It had way less miles and it was the color and style that I actually wanted. (Most of the time when you're in a pinch you have to settle)During the down time between checking our options and Jim talking to the finance guy, I would talk to the receptionist, Brittany. She was extremely nice and professional and answered all my questions very quickly.She was just a joy to talk to in general. Great staff member.I dealt with Jim over a period of 3 days. on the first day we checked out cars, on the 2nd day i got the car, and on the 3rd day i had to finish up with the tag and insurance. I honestly had fun going over there and on the 3rd day I was still excited to get up there even though I already had the car. Jim showed me/talked to me about every single thing I asked for/about and took extra time with me to walk around the lot and answer my questions and concerns.He is great at his job and changed my view of car salesmen completely. He is a real person, a true person. That's all I'd ever want to talk to in any retail place... especially when you're making such a big decision. you don't want someone who is against you.Definitely Recommended, Heartily encouraged.++The car is incredible, I love everything about it. the style, the performance, definitely the gas mileage. It seems that everything they were telling me about the car is completely true. you never know what you're getting with used cars and there absolutely has to be a level of trust when discussing purchasing one. This dealership exceeded that level.

On Tuesday September 15, 2014 I came in to the Kia dealership for an appointment with Jim Richardson. At first meeting Jim he greeted me with a smile, a handshake and introduced himself. We went to his office and he proceeded to inquire as to what I was looking for in a car. After looking at the 2015 Kia Forte that he suggested we took a test drive during which he explained many things about the car . After the test drive we went over information to see if I would be able to trade my Sonata for the Forte. Jim took the information to finance and determined that he would be able to work out a dealAfter the paperwork was prepared I was brought into Daryl Horton's office to meet with him. Daryl also greeted me with a smile, a handshake and introduced himself. Everything was explained very clearly at which time we went over and signed all the paperwork.When we were done Daryl was able to get a very good deal for me and the bottom line I was able to lower my payment which was what I requested when we started.This is the 3rd car I have purchased from Paramount and by far was the best experience I had with both Sales (Jim) and finance (Daryl). The whole process was enjoyable and not time consuming. This is our third Kia from Paramount. After seeing the Cadenza on the lot on a Sunday, I contacted Ethan online on Monday. I had seen the internet pricing and had a high interest in the vehicle. He answered all my questions and I made an appointment to see the vehicle the next day. He had it washed and sitting in the garage for my wife and I to look at. Ethan explained all the features and benefits of the car and we took a test drive. That's when we were totally sold. The finance process was just as quick and easy with Chris. Being we have had great experiences with Preston in the service department for scheduled maintenance, I knew that we were going to be well taken care of there, also. Absolutely no pressure. I bought a car fro the Kia dealership this summer and am very happy with my purchase. Living in Hickory, there are more than 20 dealerships within a two mile stretch so I had a lot of choices. Most places didn't even take the time to ask my name before going into a hard sales pitch. At the Kia dealership, my salesman brought in the general manager to address my concerns and knocked a significant amount off the sticker price to alleviate any concerns I had. The car looks and runs great and I am would recommend Kia of Hickory to anyone!

The Paramount Kia Hickory has a friendly professional staff. Jim Moir was very knowledgeable about the many features of the Kia Soul. We were shopping and this was our first stop. After driving the 2014 Kia Soul and everything it has to offer, met every need, wish list, and our price range, We decided to not spend time going anywhere else. Had not intended to have Kia find financing but Daryl found us a rate that was better than the credit union. This was an overall great experience. Great Staff, Great Product, Value Priced. While I have not yet visited the dealership or met Roger in person, he impressed me greatly online. I was interested in a particular Kia Soul, but I work several jobs so my time to shop in person is greatly limited. I told him specifically what I was looking for, what I was trading in, and asked that he tell me if what I wanted to do was even possible before I wasted either my time or his coming to the dealership and spending an hour or so. I was expecting the usual run-around, but instead, he gave me "just the facts," which was exactly what I needed. He was very helpful, professional and to the point, didn't try to sell me on a lease, which I know I definitely do not want, or tell me how much it would cost "per day," which I hate! Best experience I've ever had with a car salesman! Unfortunately, the numbers just wouldn't work for what I was wanting to do, but he offered to let me know if something came up in the future that might possibly work - but no high pressure sales tactics. So if you're looking for a car salesman that will be straight up with you and not pull any punches, ask for Roger!

I am not usually one to do this but the experience i had at paramount kia in hickory led me to tell everyone i knew how good everything turned out. My wife and I had a difficult situation. negative equity in the car we were trading in, we wanted a car with more room for our son and we wanted a monthly payment as close to what we were already paying as possible. I went into the process thinking we would get showed a bunch of cars that didn't fit our needs and were too expensive. Our salesman Roger Hill asked us all about what we want in the car. for example: power windows, power doors, cruise control. I could go on forever but to keep this short Roger took all the information we gave him and found us a perfect car to fit our need. not only did Roger find us a car that fit our needs but it also had just about 50,000 less miles on it and the payments fit our budget. I was very happy to give a review for paramount kia. Good honest hard work deserves recognition. If your looking for a hassle free enjoyable car buying experience then paramount kia of hickory is the place to go.

I visited the Kia dealership on a Sunday to do some comparison shopping, not expecting to find anyone working. We met Cathy Rivas as we started making our way through the extensive array of vehicles. She immediately made my husband and I feel at ease as she answered all our questions. I was impressed by her knowledge and patience as I was not sure exactly what I wanted. She helped me define what I wanted as we checked out each possibility until we found what I wanted. We came the following day for a test drive. Cathy had everything ready- she even had the car washed..The test drive was smooth as we one again bombarded her with questions. She was able to answer our questions but never made us feel pressured at any time. She promised to get us a deal then followed through on that promise. Even the business end of the deal was highly organized, efficient and painless. I feel like I got the car I really wanted at a fair price in the least amount of time I have ever spent in the process. I will recommend Paramount Kia of Hickory - and Cathy in particular- to anyone looking to buy their next car.

My overall experience with Paramount Kia of Hickory was absolutely amazing. I did not feel pressured at any time during the visit to buy a new or used car. I simply chose Kia because I was referred by a family member. Although I am a strong supporter of Chevrolet, I could not be any happier with my Kia Rio LX. The majority of the reason that I loved the service so much was my sales representative, Phil Philyaw. It was a very windy day and when we went for the test drive and walked over to the service center to run my payment card, he made jokes and really helped me feel comfortable. I even got to charge my iPhone while waiting on the papers to process. The fact that I have just turned 19 with no credit to my name and was able to finance a car by myself through the First Time Buyer's program made me ecstatic. Words cannot begin to express how much I love the Paramount Kia of Hickory crew and all that they have done for me thus far. I have recommended three people to go try to get a car with Phil and will continue to do so.

My wife and I went down on Friday to look at a the KIA Sorento 2013 model! We test drove it fell in love with it. We could not afford the payment that was offered by month, but was called on Saturday by KC and Rand telling me that I could have it at a certain price and we agreed upon that, and so KC told me that it would be ready for me to pick up today Monday February 10th, but they turned around and sold it, just because someone else fell in love with it after we made the deal on Saturday! I don't like dealing with folks like this, I could never trust them again. Then they turned around trying to sell me one with more miles and less on it than what we agreed to, I don't feel like I have been treated fairly and feel that I was swindled. There was not actual singing I will agree to that, but I agreed to the one that I test drove, and not some knock-off! I will guarantee you this, if they came into my store and I treated them the same way as they have treated me would feel the same if not even worse! This is sickening to the core!

I really enjoyed the experience I received at Paramount Kia of Hickory. I went to purchase a used car and ended up buying a brand new Kia Rio. This is the first time I had purchased a new car. I had my children with me and it took a couple of hours to finalize everything however the sales team was very nice and provided my children with coloring activities and an area to entertain them while I handled the process. The price was more than I came expecting to pay but I am very happy with my Kia. It has great gas mileage. I have already recommeded them to my whole family.

Had an awesome buying experience at Paramount Kia. I needed another vehicle but did not have a lot of cash to put down, nor do I have perfect credit. Everyone at Paramount was very helpful and I had several buying options even though I only had a small trade in and some credit issues. I was able to purchase a 2008 Mercury Mariner with low miles and got payments exactly where I needed them. I would reccomend this dealership to my friends, and for all my future purchases!!!

UPDATED: The dealership has gone above and beyond expectations by replacing the entire headliner because there were some stains that would not come out! Never expected them to entirely replace it, especially on a used, 3 year old car. They also managed to fix the issue with the oil spot in the trunk area, looks like they may have removed the padding and replaced it as well. Very satisfied with the work done! Love the car, great mileage, (last check was 31.5 combined city/hwy!! Thanks Kia for taking care of me and my car and following through on the promises made by the salesman. OLD REVIEW: Due to a job description change, I found myself in need of a car with decent gas mileage and low miles, preferably with a warranty of some kind. 2 years ago, we purchased a 2010 Kia Forte from Paramount Kia in Hickory from Brent Huffman and everything was smooth, service was great, and they were very responsive to any concerns we had concerning our purchase, even though it was a used car. Given our past experience with Hickory Kia, I decided to purchase my vehicle there once again. Much to my dismay, the expereince on this occasion has been less than desirable. I met Justin and discussed what I was looking for. He showed me a 2004 Optima that was the current internet special. The price was right and we began the proceedings to get financing in order, etc. I had to return to work soon and also work the next day so we agreed to meet on Thursday morning to finalize the deal. Upon arrival, we sat down and he told me that financing was approved but there was a problem, someone else had sold the car on Wed. Not only was there no call to let me know this had occurred, they did not seem too very concerned that it had happened, tried to blow it off because "there was no deposit made on the car". My salesman never asked if I would like to do so and since we had started the ball rolling for the Optima, I thought we had already set the deal. No so apparently. As my need was great, I decided to look at other options and he showed me a 2010 Forte, exactly like we had purchased 2 years ago, except for the color. It needed a thorough detailing and a few minor touch ups but the car drove, handled and responded very well. Again, the pricing was good for the car and after getting Justin and Phil (sales manager) to agree to completely detail the interior ( had some stains in the headliner, seatbelt straps, seats, and an oil spot in the trunk) and to recondition the wheels I agreed to the purchase. They got the wheels done but I've made two trips to get the detailing done. I still have spots and oil and when I went to pick up my car (a day after it was to be ready) they still had not done anything on the list that I had provided for them! It also took them 20 minutes to find my car and to tell me it would be another 2 hours before it would be ready! Simple list: Complete the detailing as promised, Repair the TRIP reset button, check the alignment, touch up the paint chip on the front fender, and provide me with service records for the car. They had done all maintenance for the previous owner so all records are there. As of a week later, the paint is touched up and the TRIP button fixed but now they are telling me tha the oil stain and the spots on the head liner can't be cleaned? Why did they asure me, prior to purchase, that they would take care of it if it could not be done??? Why was my car not ready when promised and I went a day late to pick it up? (supposed to be ready Tuesday, had dropped it off Monday evening, did not go to pick it up until Wed afternoon, still was not ready) It almost seems that they no longer care about their customers and that is sad, They used to do such a great job! Sorry for the long review but I felt the need to tell this story. Thanks for reading!

As the owner of a brand new 2013 KIA Rio I am very pleased with my purchase. Upon coming to the dealership I wasn't quite sure that I was going to be able to trade in my used car that I still owed on. I have never bought a brand new car before and especially never bought anything from a big dealership, such as KIA. To my surprise I ended up walking away with a brand new car, which I'm very pleased with. I was given wonderful customer service from the moment I walked onto the dealership. Robbie done a wonderful job in helping me with my purchase, he was very helpful and did everything possible to put me into something reliable along with what I could afford. Even the other employees congratulated me on my new purchase and would ask if i needed anything else. They all were so great and friendly. Billboards around Hickory were advertising 120% of Blue Book Value on trade in. I bought my 2011 Kia Sportage from Paramount Kia in Feb 2011. I got a fair deal and have received good service over the past 2 1/2 years. When I went to Paramount Kia last Wednesday to look at the new Optima's, Justin greeted me in a very professional manner. I told him what I was looking for in a car from my reviews on the internet. Justin lead me to the color and package on the Optima that I was looking for. He reviewed the car with me and we went for a quick test drive. Justin gave no pressure and told me if I was interested to bring my car back when I had time and he would get it appraised. I went back to see Justin on Saturday morning. He looked up my current car on auto trader and gave me a figure they would buy it for straight out. He got the head appraiser to appraise my car for trade in and the value was better. Justin made sure I was aware of the rebates and the 2 different financing options available from Kia. With all this info and another test drive I made my deal with Justin. He did a great job and followed up on Monday to see if everything was ok. Knowing that we would soon have a new addition to the family, it was time to sell the truck and get a second family vehicle. After my Wife and I had gone to 3 different Kia Dealerships, Paramount Kia finally had the answers. Other Kia dealers in the area couldn't even match prices! We found the vehicle we were interested in online, walked in the dealership, gave Jim Moir the stock number, he retrieved the vehicle immediatley, and took us for a test drive. Jim Couldn't have been nicer. He knew everything about the car, and even answered a lot of my questions before I could even ask, and was very understanding about our specific situation. After the test drive we re-entered the dealership to talk over the numbers. I gave Jim a number that I wanted as a monthly payment and within an hour between him and the Finance manager, they matched the payment. Actually, toward the end of the process I learned that they did better then just match it, they got my monthly payment even lower then I could of though possible with the down payment I had. This is thanks to their great insentives!I know Paramount Kia is glad to keep my business with them, but in the end I'm glad my business is with them instead of some of the other dearlerships I delt with in the last few weeks!!! Seen a 2013 kia sorento online.....went in to look at the vehicle....was greeted by Cathy Rivas with a warm and friendly smile...she immediately pulled the car under the covered drive area due to the rain....we test drove the vehicle around the block..... Cathy was very informative and not pushy at all she was one of the best sales people. We started the process which didn't take long at all. I drove 2 hours to look a a car that was not there when I arrived. Someone called me as we were leaving town to make sure we were coming. The car was out on loan to some friend of someone, It finally arrived after around 45 minutes of waiting. The car was not nearly as nice as described, many scratches on the interior, and drove like it had lived a rough 50k miles. Some sort of chocolate substance in the passenger side air vent. This is the first dealership I have ever seen that charged a $599 processing fee and a $94 tag fee,this should be listed on the web page. I've been trading cars for 22 years now, and thought I'd seen it all.Some of the problem may be mine, as I guess I should ask for an older salesman from now on.My advise would be, that if you're really spending $150,000 on advertising every month, save some money and work on word of mouth. If you're traveling far, don't waste time on this dealership.

Melissa was great to work with. None of the pressure that one might expect from a car sales person. She answered my questions and discussed the features of the cars in a straight forward manner. My one disappointment in the experience was how long it took to find out the final numbers of the deal. It seemed there was only one employee available and a long line of customers. I think I waited nearly 90 minutes. Thankfully Melissa was easy to be with. I am happy with the car itself. I'm one of those people who don't dicker on the price, so I'm not sure I got a great deal. But in speaking with friends afterward, I don't think I got a bad one either. I'm really pleased with the gas consumption. A tank of gas got me further and for less than my previous vehicle. Overall, a good experience. Thank you!

This is not my first experience with Paramount KIA, two years ago we bought a new SADONA for my wife Judy. I liked the car and the dealership, So when I had her car in for an oil change I went over to the car lot and talked to Jim Richardson about a used car. I was pressed for time and I told him I would be back later that night. I came back with my wife, talked to Jim, test drove a couple vehicles. Jim has a nice way about him, no pressure, very knowledgeable on the cars. When I decided on the 2011 SORENTO he went over all the functions of the switches etc of the vehicle and we did another test drive where he showed how they work like the down hill break control and(important to me) the hill start assist, reading about it or just explaining it was not the same as doing it . I really liked that feature, my driveway is really steep as most places in the Hickory area. Finalization of the deal went smooth no pressure. I drove the car home that night. I/m very satisfied the way Jim Richardson handled everything and was their through the whole process...also for pairing my cell phone to the blue tooth feature.

She has called me several times since to see how I liked my car and to remind me about the oil change. My buying experience at Paramount Kia was great. The staff is courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I researched the models online, wrote down the stock number of the vehicle I was interested in, and took it to the dealership. I told my salesman that I wanted to test-drive that specific vehicle, and he found it for me. It had most of the features I wanted. The upgraded audio package is definitely worth it because it is amazing. I am enjoying the sunroof since the weather has warmed up. The rear back-up camera is a wonderful safety feature. It is nice having Bluetooth in the car, as well. I just love my Kia Soul. I have transported all kinds of things in the roomy cargo area (with the back seats down). It is surprising how much can fit back there. The gas mileage is wonderful. I would definitely recommend Paramount Kia to anyone looking for a great car.

I went to Paramount Kia because of the television advertisement stating that they had lenders to qualify any buyer. I was expecting to be turned down because of my financial situation. Sandra, in a most courteous manner, made an appointment for me. I was greeted professionally and sincerely when I arrived. Sandra introduced me to Steven who inquired about my price range and showed me what vehicles were available. My teenage daughter spotted a Hyundai Tucson, and Steven suggested we take it for a test drive. We liked the way the vehicle looked, drove, and handled. Back at the dealership, Steven suggested that I fill out the paperwork for a loan. I was given privacy to speak to my husband about the purchase. I felt more encouraged than I did pressured. Steven took the papers to Daryl who go me approved with no money down!!! Plus, I received a fabulous interest rate!! Again I was encouraged to discuss the payments with my husband and given the privacy to do so. Not only are my daughter and I happy with our purchase, but my husband was very happy when he saw the Tucson and took it for a spin. I have already begun encouraging people to shop Paramount Kia if they are in the business for another vehicle.

I am very appreciative of all the "follow up" from this KIA dealership - the e-mails from Patrick and the dealership. I walked in at 10 min till closing on a Sat night and new exactly what I thought I wanted but still needed to test drive it...I approached Cathy and she said lets go with out even blinking an eye!! I fell in love with the car! They appraissed my trade and blew me away with my trade in value (more than double) and sent me into finance. It was a simple painless process. I brought my 2012 Sorento in to Paramount a bit ahead of its scheduled maintenance. I did so because of what I perceived as a problem which was a noise coming from the console. On the day of my appointment I was greeted by Joel and he wrote the work order up and I also got the maintenance work done as well as a car wash to wash away the winter road salt. I was also greeted by Preston who I always enjoy talking with and catching up with all the latest local events and news. I was given a ride to the mall where I stayed for two hours John picked me promptly at the appointed time and brought me back to the service department. My car was ready. It had been cleaned and serviced. The noise which I thought was a problem was normal and turned out not to be a problem according to the service tech. Joel instructed me to keep an eye out or in my case an ear out if it got louder or changed in anyway to bring it back and they would change out the part. At this time I am satisfied with the work performed by everyone at Paramount Kia service and recomend Paramount to anyone considering buying a new or used vehicle.R Bowman

I had been searching for a newer car for a couple months so I had visited several websites and dealerships and this was the 1st dealership that I visited that didn't chase me down in the parking lot. All the cars that we looked at had a carfax already in the car so we didn't have to ask for one. Our salesman ( Phil Philyaw) wasn't pushy or harassing and once we decided on a vehicle, he wrote everything up and took care of all the paper work including adding the car to my insurance policy. I would recommend that anyone looking for a auto to check out Paramount Kia . They have 3 dealerships all next to one another so there is a large variety of vehicles to choose from. I took the car to the service department within a week or two of purchasing the car. Very helpful and friendly group. Dropping off and picking up the car was quick and easy. They checked an indicator message for me, and fixed a light while they had it. I was surprised and very pleased, that they fixed these items for me at no charge, since I had just purchased the car. Brought my Sorento in for maintenance/service and a wash. I did not have to wait was greeted by Preston, who always has a smile, mycar was taken to the service dept. I caught a ride to the mall to finish my christmas shopping. I returned a couple hours later my car was finished and shiney parked in the completed lot and ready. I took my Kia Soul in for my regular service right before Christmas and the service department was great! I was greeted with a smile and they said that it would be ready in about 45 minutes. Within the time frame they brought my car back around and said it was done. The only thing is they had to slide my seat back to drive it around and didn't try to put it back, when I got in my short legs couldn't reach the pedals. Other than that I have no complaints about the service department.

We came to Paramount Kia because we knew we needed to trade our Tahoe for a car that would be more economical. But we hadn't had the tahoe barely a year so we really thought that we wouldn't be able to do anything yet. But we were dreaming and trying to plan for the future. Along came Steven Watts, we talked with him about our needs. Today I went in for my 15,000 mile service on my 2012 Soul. When I arrived I spoke with Jason. I showed him the trim that needed repairing and the carpet. As he was writing up my order I asked him about the mileage reimbursement being offered by Kia. After my car was serviced Jason came to me with the information that the trim piece is ordered and covered under my warranty. ALong with that the information that my car was one of the models and how to get my reimbursement. AWESOME!! I was very pleased with Jason.

Jim was very helpful when my husband and I started looking for a vehicle. We were on the lot for about 3-5 minutes before Jim approached us and started to review the vehicles we were looking at. We were not able to stay very long on our initial visit and Jim gave us his card and we said we would call him. We called Jim and he was gracious enough to set aside time for us to come in and look at the vehicle again. We took it for a test drive and started the paperwork. I would say from the start of our second visit until the time we signed the paperwork on the purchase took us around 4 hours. For someone who detests the "traditional car shopping experience" I was very pleased with the experience at Paramount Kia and with Jim Richardson. I would refer my family and friends to him and the dealership without any hesitation.

I was extremely satisfied with my first car buying experience. Brent was extremely helpful, and made the entire process very quick and painless. Whenever I asked to test drive a car, he made sure that I was able to drive on multiple roads and enviroments to see how the car handled in each enviroment. When I got back to the dealership, I knew that I wanted the car I had test drove, so we went inside to do paperwork. An hour later, and I drove off the lot with my new car. Met Brent when I walked in the door. He took my Credit Union Test Market Paper and guided me to the correct person. Eventhough they were busy, he stayed with me showed me a seat and passed the time chatting until I could see the coordiantor. We went to the dealership because of a paper we received in the mail. We did not expect to be able to get a car at all. When we arrived at the dealership we were greeted cordially and directed to the person that we were to see. After completing his part we were directed to Jim Moir who was very friendly and cordial. Phil Philyaw was so professional and kind through the whole process. He went above anything we expected out of a dealership. He worked hard for us to make sure we got the best deal for our money and the right car. We bought a new Sedona from Paramount and we just love it. Came in for service on my Kia Optima left with new Sorento. My husband and I decided while we were waiting ,we would just take a look around to kill time. We had jokingly discussed getting new vehicle... Patrick was great, answered all our questions. More important,he listened. When it was time for the test drive, turned it over to me, as the primary vehicle driver, not my husband. He understood my happiness with the vehicle would be the most important. Can honestly say, that although MY last 2 cars were from the same dealership, this was the first time the salesman thought about MY experience behind the wheel. Would recommend this dealership!! As I said, have now bought 3 cars from them. Welive approx 40 miles away near Charlotte and it is worth the drive.

Based on my experience with Ted, I would not recommend this dealership. He was unfriendly and unwelcoming. I went in with a specific purpose, to test drive to different vehicles so that I could see what I liked and didn't liked. He cared more about the sale and not me as a customer. He continued to ask what was my trade in and what did I want to finance. This is not how you start a sale. I didn't want to talk about this b/c I was unsure what I wanted. I asked for a new salesperson, Phillip, who was fantastic. I was told later that Phillip said to Ted that I did not want to work with him and Ted said, Well, I don't want to work with her either. Phillip and I were both flabbergasted. I couldn't believe it. Don't be in sales if you're not a people person.Phillip...I HIGHLY recommend. Ted...NEVER.

All i can say is Tim totally blew the typical salesman stereotype out the window. He was like more of a informed and concerned friend. If we had a question and he didn't know the answer, he didn't fake it, we went and found it. Never pushed a sale whatsoever. After we test drove our car I opted to go home and think about it, and his response was no problem. He just wanted us to be happy. We did however go back and look him up, and I cannot say enough as to how hard he worked to help us out. Always friendly, never passing us off to someone else. Stayed with us the entire time. Even called a few days later to see if we needed anything. And all we told him when we went back was where our payments needed to be and what we had for down payment. Didnt even haggle price and wow were we suprised as to the deal he worked out for us. I really despise buying a new vehicle. It seems that the salesmen are always pushy and multiple people try and gang up on you. Well, much to my surprise, it is still possible to purchase a new car and ENJOY the experience. Starting with email messages that answered all of my questions, the initial meeting of the salesman, the test drive and the salesmans expert knowledge of the product. Then there was the actual sale and multiple follow-ups.I would be extremely remiss if I didnt say that Patrick Butler gave myself and my wife the kindness, thoughtfulness and courteous service that should be accorded someone that is about to write a check for a large sum of money. And he did not stop when the check was in his hand. My whole experience was positive. I received a call within a few min of contacting Paramount kia via live chat. Ted called me and we set up an appointment. He was there waiting on me. He showed me a car that I could afford and went over every detail of the car. We then drove through the service and maintance dept along with seeing the detailing dept. After the test drive, we went in and done the number and then waited for the response from the banks. I didn't buy the car until my husband came and saw the vehicle and Ted once again repeated everything for my husband. Ted is a great sales guy and I would work with him again. From the moment I first contacted them via live chat through their website I was treated with respect and care. I gave them my financial background and trade information and was given an appointment for the same day by Brittany. Normally I am hesitant to work with car dealers because of how stressful and discouraging it can be given my credit history and lack of knowledge for purchasing automobiles. Had to purchase 2nd key, had less than 1/4 tank of gas upon delivery, added extended warranty without my permission costing me larger payments for less time. Emission problem to engine after 2nd week of use. Finance man, James, took it upon himself to add extended warranty without my permission. Jason was very rude and didnt want to work with us. Apparently I wasnt worth his time. I dont feel it is unreasonable for me to look at various models to find what I like. Looks, design, mileage, etc. a car is a very large and expensive purchase. Excuse me for wanting to be informed. I would love to get a 2012 that's used and by the fall or next year... I'll find one. No, my credit isnt the best However, I didnt want to misinform or exaggerate my credit score, its not bad. The fact that I like to generally like to take care of my things and keep them for a while; how dare me go ahead and fault me. Marsha was very nice and apologized profusely for his horrible and poor customer service. That type of behavior isnt condoned under their policies, she said. I do hope this was brought to his attention. I might very well bring my business back. However, I feel their prices are pretty high for the mileage of their product and I also feel that the tale of mileage was stretched. Ill admit I am not well versed in cars, but 40MPG on a midsize car seems somewhat unrealistic.My appoligieze for wanting to shop around and get an idea of what I am looking for before investing $20,000 into something. Yes, I would love to spend less than $10,000 but I have yet to set a budget because I havent decided what I want. Isnt that nice to be able to do that....funny how not taking the time and being rude will take money by prejudging people will make you lose out. Yes, this was brought to the attention of a customer service rep.

After hours of research on the internet, we drove over fifty miles to Kia of Hickory to purchase our second Kia Sorento. Having successfully driven a Sorento for eight years and 126,000 miles, we did not have to be sold on the brand or model. However the particular features that we wanted on a 2012 model were not easy to find at this time; thus the trip to Hickory. The very nice salesman I had spoken with prior to our visit was unavailable when we arrived due to a family emergency, but Phillip Buckbee, a very pleasant fellow, took over. He could not have been more helpful. He even took us on a test drive of the Kia Soul just for fun. Although they had three cars with the features we wanted, the colors were much too dark for our dusty roads. They then agreed to bring a car in for us from another dealer in NC. After some consideration, they, in turn, offered to sell us a 2013 model at the same fair price we had negotiated, and thus avoid the hassle of getting a car from a distant dealer. We agreed, but had to go home to arrange our finances to purchase the car with a good sized down payment. Two days later we returned to pick up our beautiful pearly white SUV with black trim which offered the fuel economy and convenience package that was important to us. To prevent my getting lost in town, Phillip even drove me to a local bank to secure a cashier's check. Before we headed for home, he explained and helped us set up the new technology on the 2013. We loved our 2004, but I think we will love this one even more. If you visit Kia of Hickory, I can assure you that Phillip Buckbee will treat you with respect and make buying a car a pleasure.

I stopped by the delaership for an oil change in my Sportage and was looking at the new vehicles. Ted Keener walked up and introduced himself and told me all about the new Soul that I was looking at, I was very impressed with his product knowledge and expertise. Was impressed by team work that was there on the sale and to answer my questions. Love the car the price was good and I didn't even consider shopping else where. Only thing that I didn't like was the was the finance person can remember his name (young guy)that finished my paper work, He was NOT friendly no introduction or eye contact basically he acted like he was pissed ( maybe he couldn't sell extended warranty). I went there looking at a car I had saw online, but was immediately steered away from the $6600 car to one that was nearer to $12,000, I presume because the sales man wanted a bigger commission. I knew right out the gate that I didn't have the best credit in the world, knew what I could afford. But that didn't matter as the sales man seemed to have his own agenda. we constantly had to repeat things to him and not just twice but 4 and 5 times. I had filled out an application before I came in but that just seemed to be a way to get you on the lot. We wasted a whole afternoon being put through the ringer only to be turned down for the $12,000 vehicle, which I knew and said we would be. I will never step foot on or buy anything foot any Paramount lot again.

My experience was horrendous with this dealer. I went in to buy a car and was originally told that my financing did not go through. I left the dealership disappointed but okay. They called me back less than 30 minutes later and told me it worked out and I could get the car. I took it home and drove it for 3 weeks. It was registered in my name and the tag was issued to me and it was in my insurance. I had signed paperwork even. Then 3 weeks later they called and made me bring it back saying that the financing did not go.through. Never deal with them.

My initial interaction with Paramount Kia was awesome. Noah Beadle graciously greeted me and was eager to assist in any way possible. I am quite certain that Noah was not going to benefit from the service he offered me, as I was only locating a vehicle for our Lessor, which would make the sale more of a "house"sale, but Noah didn't mind at all and was still very eager to help in any way possible. I told him exactly what I wanted, we test drove the vehicle, and he closed the sale within an hour's time. Noah answered all the questions I had for him and provided me with everything I needed. Couldn't have asked for anything more! It took our leasing company a month to finalize everything (it was during the holiday season) but Noah was very patient and followed up weekly with me. Finally, I received confirmation that the transactions were final and I could p/u the vehicle.Then, I made an appointment to pick-up the vehicle. I only had a small window of time, but felt all I needed to do was sign a few documents and be on my way. Didn't happen. Whether it was the fault of PHH (the company leasing the vehicle for us)or Paramount Kia, I was having to call for information and provide info that should have been handled prior to my arrival. My experience with Daryl Horton, F&I Manager, was a nightmare. This individual does not understand the meaning of southern hospitality or customer service. While I understand these characteristics are not crucial for his role at Paramount Kia, they are essential for success. I would recommend this dealership; however, I would suggest that Paramount send Mr. Horton to some type of customer service basics so that he might step back and look at the manner in which he interfaces with a customer.

When I decided to purchase a 2012 Kia Soul, I did a lot of research online and then finally set up an appointment at Paramount Kia in Hickory to take a test drive. I was very impressed with the comfort, peformance, and features of the Soul and decided that it was the car for me. My sales person, Patrick Butler, was very knowledgeable of the Kia Soul and answered all of my questions. He also told me a lot about the Soul that I didn't know already. His knowledge of the car, its features, and options made it even easier for me to make my purchase decision. As we all know, the test drive and demonstration of a new car is the fun part. The 'work' portion of a new car purchase starts when you sit down in the salesman's office and start talking about the numbers. Patrick Butler made this process quite easy and he went over all the numbers in detail with me. We agreed on a price for the car along with my trade-in. I ran into some unexpected problems with the Carfax report on my trade-in during the negotiation process. I needed to stop the progress of my purchase and make some phone calls to sort out those issues. Patrick had no problem with me taking the time I needed to get that sorted out. I felt no pressure of any kind during my visit to Paramount Kia. Before I went to the dealership, I had visited my credit union to set up financing in advance. I got a pretty good interest rate from them, but Paramount Kia negotiated an even better rate for me, so I ended up financing through the dealership instead. I have no complaints at all with this dealership and my experience of purchasing a new car from them. I LOVE my Kia Soul!

We went to the dealership to look at a few cars until we found the perfect car we wanted to buy, numbers were written up for THE CAR we wanted and was told we were going to recieve, we left while waiting for a approval and soon after got a phone call saing we were approved for the loan with 1000 down we were excited to go get the car we had agreed on and to go pick it up! upon arriving at the dealership we were told THEY changed the car WE PICKED OUT to another compartive car that had alot less features and one that we hadn't even seen or agreed upon. which was a huge shock and dissappointment, what was a even bigger shock was the manager coming at us yelling and throwing a tamtrum in the middle of the store embarrassing us and himself! telling us it is the same car which it most defintely not! not the same features different colors and stripped all down. the manager couldn't see the difference between a nice greenish, all the bells and whistles car to a plain stripped down black one? then repeatly said well buy this one I don't care what one you buy this one will just cost you 100 dollars a more a month, buy what ever one you want but this one will be more, we don't care was repeated over at least 5 times, we I think he should care, not throwing his hands up in the air and repeating buy this one or that one I don't care..like dealing with a 2 year old. very dissapointed! will let anyone who asks about where we bought it to not go there unless they like agreeing on a car and management switching it and then yelling at you about it in front of a crowd!We should have been told on the phone that we were approved for a different car than the one AGREED on! our saleman phil was nice and you could see he felt bad and was probably embrassed as well of the manager!

Saw a Titanium 2012 Forte Koup (manual trans) on the lot Sat night after they were closed & sent email on Sun. Spoke w/Jim Moir about it numerous times on Mon morning. We drove over 60 miles to BUY, only to be told that the car had actually been sold to another dealer's "customer" on Sat. afternoon. This car was STILL on the SALES LOT!!!! I called that particular Columbia SC Kia dealer to confirm. IRONICALLY, 4 days later - that SAME Forte Koup is listed on the Galeana Kia's website - SAME VIN NUMBER!!!!

Paramount is a large multi line dealership and we were able to easily check several competing models at the same location. My wife loved the Kia Optima and it was a very good value comparing "apples to apples" on features. I called first thing Monday morning and the receptionist took my information and she had Jim call when they cleared their sales meeting. He took my information on the car we were interested in and promised to call me right back with more information. Jim was true to his word and gave a great overvue and we set up a test drive. Long story short, we bought the car, Jim gave us the $.25 tour and was a very personable and knowledgeable salesman. Car was detailed and full of gas and my wife loves it.CheersBob W.

overall had a very good experience with this dealership and sales person that helped us. Patrick was very helpful and went over all the information with us thoroughly. I used their online per-approval tool and got a response immediately and a phone call from the customer care department withing just a few minutes. The only set back we had was not due to dealer but rather a lender issue and getting the desired interest rate we were hoping to get. The dealer did shop through the lenders and find us the lowest rate possible at the time. After purchasing the vehicle I have received several follow ups from the dealership and paramount kia staff. Paramount kia made the purchasing experience very easy and comfortable and I would recommend them over other kia dealerships that I have dealt with.

My wife and I drove 2.5 hours from Raleigh, NC to purchase our 2011 Optima EX from Paramount Kia. We found out they were the only dealer in NC to still have an EX turbo in Satin White. This is such a popular car that there isn't much negotiating when it comes to price, but Paramount still had a better sticker price for this car than a local dealer that we considered. Plus, we were able to use one of the loyalty incentives, and feel we got a good deal. We had spoken with Patrick the night before, and he verifed the Optima was still available. He also suggested we go ahead and do the online financing approval to help move the paperwork along. This was a good idea. We arrived at the dealer around 11:30 that morning and drove our Optima off the lot at 2:00 that afternoon. Patrick had made sure the vehicle was cleaned up, and ready for us to test drive when we arrived. Everything went smoothly, we couldn't we more pleased. Since we have brought the vehicle home, Patrick has already emailed us and called to see if we have any questions and if we are enjoying our new car. I would definitely recommend Paramount Kia and Patrick to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

I was very pleased with my purchase from Paramount. I visited the dealership the day before looking for a replacement for my Jeep. I saw an older Jeep on the lot with a good price. I spoke with a salesman about offers I had already been made for my current car. He said he believed he could meet the price. The next day I returned to drive the car and possibly purchase. The whole experience was positive. There was no hassle and the price wasn't changed due to "hidden fees". The salesman was very upfront and honest about the deal I could get. I appreciated the honesty. I would recommend the dealership to a friend. My husband went back the next week and traded his car for a 2012 Golf TDI. The experience was the same. Good price, no hassle, and friendly service. We will go back when the time comes to trade our current cars.

We bought our Second Kia from Paramount, a 2011 Sorento. The buying experience was good. We only have two unpleasant things worth mentioning. We had worked out all of our details of our purchase three days prior to our purchase date and we were still at the dealership three hours. Our sales person did not give us the details of our car untill we were leaving. Thankfully we had previously done our homework and knew what we wanted.Other than that our experience was good and we are pleased with our purchase. We will recommend this dealership to our friends with this advise "give yourself plenty of time and know what you want before you go."

Our daughter totaled our kia rio, so a friend gave us their uncle's old '92 olds. needless to say we had the car in repairs for most of the year we had it. we decided to go back to the kia dealership because we have a sadona and have never had any major repairs done to it. only regular maintance. we asked to speak to the sales man who sold us our first kia, but he recommend aimee to us. he was right she was so pleasent and helpful. we only had to deal with her and the guy in finance. only 2 people. i love it. we found a car that was great and fit into our budget.

I had a great experience at Paramont Kia in Hickory. We have been looking at new car for a while before we went to Kia. To tell the truth I did not want to get a Kia but I test drove the Kia Sorento and loved it. Brent Huffman was our sales representative and he was great. He was very friendly and listen to our needs in a new car. He also knew details about the cars he was selling. We had went to previous dealerships before and ask about different features on a vehecal and the sales person couldn't tell you much or stubbled through the answer. I found a fairly good price on a Kia Sorento on line and attempted to get some additional information from the the salesman at the dealership. I wanted to know how many vehicles they had with 4WD and what the prices might be with accompanying specifications.I made initial contact on line with a chat program on Paramount's website. I got some canned response e-mails but nothing along the line of what I needed.FINALLY, after five days, I did get a response that told me the stock number of a vehicle meeting my specs. After viewing the car on line, I had some questions concerning price. An answer to my questions was not forthcoming. I continued to receive canned mails. I made an appointment to go to the dealership after a few of my questions were answered.Finally, on the fifth day, I did find out some additional info but not what I had asked, so I again asked for specific pricing info. After receiving NOTHING for two more days, I canceled my appointment. THEN the salesman called and tried to find out some more info from me. I told him I was out of the market. He then read my e-mails, so he says, and provided some more info but not specifically what I had asked about.The most ridiculous part of his info was his quote of a "document fee" of $693!!! That is absolutely ridiculous and is nothing more than ADDITIONAL DEALER PROFIT!Stay away from these people - they are only out to rip you off!!!

We went to two Kia dealerships and they didnt seem like they wanted to work with us.A friend of ours told us to go to Paramout Kia that they would treat us right. We live in Grover, NC and the drive to Hickory was worth it.Patrick Butler was our salesman and he took great care of us.We have some friends that love our new Sorento and the deal that we got and we already refered Patrick Butler to them.Everyone Paramount Kia was friendly and helpful. James & Jonathon were great to work with! However, my brief meeting with the Finance Manager did not meet my expectations. His attitude and lack of professionalism made me question why he holds the position he does. I bought this car over the phone; without seeing it in person or driving it. This was a cash transaction, which required very little effort on the Finance Managers part. He did not even stand to greet me or offer a handshake. Additionally, he did not thank me for my purchase and, at the end of the transaction, still did not get up from his seat to offer a handshake. As a side note, during the signing of the documents (NC DMV title application, buyers order, etc.), he never asked for my drivers license or any other documentation to verify my identity. Again, in closing, James and Jonathon were great!!!

Customer Service at the Kia Dealership in Hickory, North Carolina ranks high in my estimation. Upon arriving at the dealership, I was greeted by a very pleasant gentleman inquiring about my interest. Within a few moments of conversation, I was already looking at a possible car. Shortly, papers were being filled out for a trade of my car and the purchase of the Soul Kia that I had picked out. The quality and quickness of work was amazing to me. It was quickly done and shared with me. The price of the car with the trade-in of my car proved to be a price that I could not turn down. My overall experience with the sales representative, finance department and other personnel was awesome. A friend of mine recommended this dealership to me and I will definitely pass on the recommendation to other friends of mine.

I decided to drive to Paramount which was very much out of my way, just to see if what they say is true. {They can bet anyones price.} I went right to the car I had been looking at. I needed a new car. My old car was at the shop more than I drove it to work. I needed a dependable car. I had friends that owned Kia cars. They love them. So, I went online and looked at Kia cars. I liked the Forte coupe. I asked for a quote thru the nearest Kia dealer ship. They sent me emails and called me within the hour. I set up an appointment to go look at some of the models they had on the lot. I arrived late the person I had the appointment with was on another lot make a sale to another customer. Jason quickly stepped in to help me. I show him the car I like and within two hours I drve off the lot. Jason did not stop until all of my paper work was finished. He took my car washed it and put gas in it. I love my Kia. I have bought a new car before and it took six hours. I was not thrilled about having to go back thru another six hour ordeal, but thanks to Jason it was quick. I would recommand Kia of Hickory to anybody who wants to buy a Kia. Jason was a wonderful and very efficient sales person. Thank you for the great car buying experience.

My husband and I got a letter in the mail stating that we could get 120 percent of our cars value. Even though I had 2010 I thought why not. I might be able to get a brand new car for what I was paying a month or for just a little extra. We decided to look into the Sorento and Optima. We decided we couldn't afford the monthy payment of the Sorento and my husband didn't like the 4 cylinder so we decided on the Optima. I love my new Optima it's sleek and sporty looking, gets better mileage than 2010 and the body style looks 100 percent better than the 2010 and I love the extra features that the 2011 offers that the 2010 did not. Thanks again to the Kia team for helping us get a great vehicle.

Salesman, Jim Moir, did little to NO educating us about the car. He was slow to get the paperwork done. He did not at any point discuss with us the maintenance schedule. The finance person, Ryan, rolled his eyes and made faces when we were discussing the Gap insurance coverage option. Very Rude! In fact, so rude that we decided to purchase our second Kia from another dealership. The buying experience was as different as night and day. We have not at any point received follow up calls from Paramount of Hickory to thank us for our purchase or to see if there were any questions/concerns that they could help us with. We are super disappointed with the overall buying experience from this dealership! We will not have our vehicles serviced with them or give them any business at any point in the future.

I settled on the Soul & Jim found the one with everything I wanted on it plus the color I liked. On April 7, 2011 my husband and I drove to Hickory to look at vehicles. I had looked online at Kia Souls and similar vehicles. We started off going to Carmax first and looked at several used vehicles. We then test drove a Nissan Cube. We were not planning on buying that day. We decided that we would drive to the Kia dealership and test drive a Soul. I was not intending to buy that day. I hate pushy salespeople to be honest and that is what I am used to at car dealerships. I was with my husband when he bought both his new trucks and it was not pleasant. This time I was very pleased. When Tim came out, he was not pushy. He gave us time to look and ask questions. He took us for a test drive and I was very pleased with all the information that he gave us. When we got back from the test drive, he asked us if we were interested in trading our vehicle and said he could do a quick appraisal, no more than 15 minutes. He was right. It was around 15 minutes and he had a quote of what we could buy the car for and what they would give us for ours. We were very happy with the offer made on our car. It was higher than KBB and a bit higher than another offer we had been made. We decided to buy! He then showed us all the features our new car had and made sure we knew what we were getting. As soon as we got out of our car at Paramount Kia, Jarrad Wilson was there to greet us. He was very cordial. He treated us with respect. We told him what kind of payment we could afford and he immediately said he could help us. He showed us several vehicles and was very patient with us, even though I kepted changing my mind on which car I wanted. He was informative about the vehicle we test drove and explained how to use use the equipment. From the time we arrived till we completed all the paperwork, he was very accomodating and we felt at ease with him. At one time we were working with two more individuals at the dealership who were very accomodating and wanted us to have the vehicle we wanted. I had gone to another Kia dealer and these guys helped me see that I had been offered a LX with added extras that was much more expensive than the SX they had for me at a much better price. Sadly, it was sold the day before I got there so they found me one similar to the one I had seen online and sent someone to get it for me, I had it in a few days. This one had a few more extras on it even...that's the Lord for ya :)! I had studied allot online, but still had to trust that they would help me get down to the payment that I needed and they did work with me. I am delighted with my car and have offered to take a friend there in the next month to see if she can find a vehicle! THeir website really helped me as I studied and looked for the car that I wanted!!!

We went to Kia because of the safety ratings we have read about in Consumer Reports, the warranties, price, gas mileage, etc. A huge bonus that we did not expect was the friendly, professional service we were met with by our sales associate, Tim Whitener. There was no pressure, just information. Tim's 10 yrs experience shows, and made it a totally comfortable experience. We had a good experience, also, in the Finance Office, with Ryan Caldwell. We had fast and informative service that lead to a very good experience in buying a car. We were inane out in less than 2 hours and had a new car. We had gone earlier for a test drive 2 months ago with bent huffman, a salesman, who was very informative about the vehicle and showed us how to use their website to obtain information of their invetory when we saw something we like and to learn more about the vehicle. So, when we had saved and our finances came around we were able to identify a car without even going to the lot then call Brent to verify everything. He was able to meet with us and quickly negotiate a fair price and showed us our best financing options. Once this was done we were directed to all the paper work and then to our new car. I was surprised at the fluidity of the experience and the brevity of our wait time.
