The team over at Patrick been extremely responsive and helpful throughout this whole process in dealing with a GM warranty issue on the transmission for my Yukon XL Denali. I three other dealerships before I came here. Torrey is the first person to answer my questions and treat me respectfully. The Service team has been just as great! Alex and Mason listened to me, found the issue and diagnosed it quickly, and came up with a solution plan. I’m very grateful for their service! UPDATE: I can't say enough good things about the service department at Patrick. I purchased a 2015 Yukon XL Denali a couple years ago from a different dealership. I immediately noticed a transmission issue that should have been covered under the factory warranty. However, the service manager sent me through multiple hoops, and the issue was never resolved. I started calling different dealers, and Patrick was the first place to answer the phone, they helped me through through process, my new transmission is so smooth, and now I love my vehicle again! I really appreciate the attention Mason and Alex and the team gave me and my vehicle.

Alex is and always has been extremely helpful with any service needs or issues I've had. Patrick Buick team seems to really care about their customers and their time. I love that I can make an appointment and it is honored unlike previous dealers I've dealt with in the past. All my future cars will come from Patrick Buick if I can help it!!

I brought my vehicle in for "clean for delivery" and I feel like I got a rush job. Windshield was dirty and plastic was on two areas of the trunk. Plastic is still over my screen. Love the all weather floor liners.

I have bought many a car but never in any of those experiences did I leave the dealership feeling completely satisfied and ecstatic. There are just too many positives about my experience. 1) Christina was excellent. I saw the vehicle I wanted. I stated the price I could afford out of the door in an email. They found a way to make it work and did not add a cent to it. In fact they got me more dealer discounts that I was not aware of. This does not happen in this business.2) I went in with a low interest pre-approved loan based on excellent credit history. This was a from a credit union. Tim was able to get me a rate significantly lower. In fact when other dealers wanted me to finance from them and asked what my pre-approved loan rate was, they would just give up but this dealership got me something 0.25% lower.3) I had an expectation of how the car would like given the price they were quoting. I had visited other dealers and based on that I formed my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the vehicle was much neater, had more options and in much greater state than I could possibly imagine.I went with my friend from Mississippi and after experiencing such professionalism and great customer service, he is seriously thinking of buying from Patrick Buick.If you see a car you like at this dealership, you should definitely visit them.

While visiting family in Glen Allen, the brake system failed. Since I have a Cadillac and there were no dealers around I was able to get to Patricks. Even though I was from out of town they treated me GREAT. They took the car in the shop had a technician check it out and recommended the fix. (New brake lines due to corrosion). The car was fixed expertly and at a fair price. I could not be more pleased with Patrick Buick, GMC

I have a ten year old Buick and have been going to Patrick Buick GMC for many years and have always been treated with upmost respect. I always have been treated fair and have always been given fair prices on service. A shout out to the service department employees, in particular Mark Webster. He always goes above and beyond to make sure my service visit is the best. Ritchie and Jerry also do a great job too! They have a great team. I have a 2007 Chevy Avalanche that I bought in 2008 that would once a year around the same month would not start like the battery was dead. So I called GMC in 2010 and told me to take it to Patrick Buick in Ashland Va. they servicers look at the truck and said there was nothing just needed a replacement battery. I replaced the battery but bought a warranty , in 2013 the truck did the same thing so we thought it was a fluke and jumped it. Last year 2014 it happen again so we call the Patrick Buick in Ashland VA. to let them know something is going wrong. We took the truck there and they said it was okay and bring it back it happen again. Well again a year later in 2015 it happens again so I called to the dealer and talk to service and the guy that answer the phone said you have not been here since 2010 I told him to check his records cause we was just there last year. He then says oh yeah that tells me he didnt even bother to look the first time. So he said you need to talk to the guys that handle this before but hes with someone so you can call back. Now Im upset cause we are going through this process again so I called back and talked to the Service Manger Robert H.. Well he has the worst customer service values, he was short and while I was trying to explain what happen he kept saying well its a 5 year old battery and giving smart answers like I cant diagnose the truck over the phone I called for help not to be treated like I was unintelligent. I told we had been having troubles before the 5 years and we didnt live near the dealership so its hard to go back and forth while the truck is not starting and cloud I use another dealership. He then says it depends on your warranty and I then say well do I have that one he said I dont know. I said can you look it up he says No find your paperwork its at this time I realized he didnt want to help me so I asked his name and hung up. So I have a warranty on a battery with a dealership that could care less about their customer service.

I bought my truck from Christian, and he could not have possibly been more informative, knowledgeable, or helpful. He listened to my family and I's specific needs, and even asked some foresight questions for the future, and landed us on the PERFECT truck. He took immense time to work with us prior to the sale, never pressured me, and even after the sale (setting up mine and my wife's phones, etc.). I then came in for an oil change as scheduled, and the service lane was just as wonderful. I will DEFINITELY be coming back here, and telling everyone I know about these guys!

I recently went to GMC in Ashland to look at card. Janet pulled up a Chevy Equinox (which I have been looking at reviews for a year now and love this car). I fell in love with it immediately. I contacted GM Main site about a 4 W/D Regular Cab Short Box GMC Pickup, they located only 3 that where anywhere near Virginia. None in the color that I could accept. Fortunately for me Janet Keys and Phil Scott from Patrick GMC kept on searching for me. They prevailed with a Wonderful Emerald Metallic Green 4 W/D 5.3L Reg Cab Short Box GMC Pickup. The Vehicle was reasonably priced to stay with in my budget and came with a few more options than I expected. The Sales Staff where courteous and attentive to my requests.

In my inquiring with Christian about the available resources, he's been extremely helpful. He takes pride in knowing about the products and the most affordable options. Very good at suggesting vehicles that match your needs and preferences. Upfront about the quality and what to expect in the purchase experience. Never at any point did I feel like I was getting coerced into a purchase.

I took my car to Patrick Buick GMC on 12/1/14 because of a misfire. The car was putting multiple codes out referring to the fuel injectors and such. Of all the parts and pieces in my vehicle the technician comes up with the conclusion that there was water in my tank. Okay, at least I know. They tell me to put 93 in it a couple times and it should burn off soon. About a week or two later I took it back to them because the issue was still the same after a bottle of dry gas and two tanks of 93 later. They took my car back and pulled a 'fuel sample'. I was shown the sample and yes, there was a tiny bit of water at the bottom. Okay, now I know for certain it's water. A month goes by and the car is not getting any better whatsoever. I decided to take it to another dealership for a second opinion. Luck Chevrolet is the place to go! After about an hour the service man came out and told me that the ignition coil was broken and after it's replacement the problem was fixed! I took the new diagnosis over to Patrick Buick GMC and told them their was NO water in my tank, EVER, and that I'd like my refund of $100 for a fuel sample they took. This is where I became even more amazed by their terrible customer support. I was told I was NOT getting a refund back because their WAS water in the tank and that it's what was wrong with the vehicle. Total lies! Needless to say, after getting a bit overheated over the telephone, I was finally offered a credit at any of the GMC Chevy dealerships, lame. David Smith (the service manager) told me every piece of lie he could think of in order to NOT reimburse me for their mistake. I even showed them proof from Luck Chevrolet and what they had to fix. Way to make your customers feel important! AND sticking up for a technicians mistake?! When you have made a mistake, own up to it! Don't sit their and back up something that wasn't true. It was as simple as saying, 'I'm sorry we made a mistake, let's make it better.' But instead, I was given the run around multiple times, I was made to feel like a liar and an idiot. I did my research and after calling them multiple times and letting them know that I DID NOT think it was a water issue I was finally able to say, 'told you so'. But that doesn't make the situation better. What would have made it better would have been someone apologizing and cooperating, which never happened. My calls were never returned, even after I was told they would be. They didn't want to fix the actual problem or spend any serious time trying to find the CORRECT problem. But, with that being said, if you still decide to have any work done through them plan to make it an all day event!

The service department failed to properly fix my vehicle; instead they created a new problem and refused to responsibilty for it. This delaership was once a small town favorite when the father ran it, but is now a joke since the son has taken over. Would not recommend using this dealership!
