I recently acquired a new 2021 Volvo XC-60 at Patrick Volvo. I love the car and had an excellent overall experience at Patrick Volvo. Brett Johnson was so easy to work with. He really listened to what I was trying to accomplish, and helped me through the process to achieve my goals; of getting a top rated safe vehicle with future flexibility. I would definitely recommend Brett and Patrick Volvo, to Family and Friends.

Just completed the purchase of our S90 with Mo Khan. He did a fantastic job in making sure our needs were met through the buying process. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Thanks Mo for all your hard work!!!

I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to write one because I was blown away by the Patrick Volvo Team - in particular Egor Shevel. Egor was very responsive to all of my questions over text, email, and phone and worked with me to find the right car for my price point. In addition, the pricing I was offered was substantially better than all of the other Volvo dealers within a 50 mile radius (for a brand new car with all of the features I wanted). The team's service was also above-and-beyond, with the car being delivered right to my front door! Additionally everything was exactly as represented with no-gimmicks or aggressive sales tactics. I highly recommend working with Patrick Volvo (in particular Egor) - I will certainly be going back to them for my future automotive needs.

Had a fantastic experience with Mo Khan! He was wonderful, super knowledgeable and a great person! Mo even helped a group of random people fix their flat tire when he noticed they had a flat! This is our first ever positive experience at a dealership and Mo is making me want to upgrade our other vehicle this year! If you’re looking for a great person to know and trust, Mo is your guy!!!

Best car buying experience I have ever had! My wife and I are recommending Patrick Volvo to all family and friends in the market for a new vehicle. This will be our dealership of choice going forward. Special thank you to Ashvin…a true pleasure to work with!

Upon my arrival the sales man greeted me as I got out of my car and called me by name which was a little strange since I had just corresponded with him via email. So lucky guess but a keen attention to detail. It was clear that the vehicles on the lot and the facility itself was well cared for. The experience was rather quick which is something I wasn't used to. I arrived at 4pm test drove the vehicle and was out by 630 with my new car. If anyone has bought a car they know it can very well take all day. so this was a pleasant surprise. all in all very satisfied.

Waited more then a few minutes to be approached. Wanted to buy a car, no luck-they tried to get me financed but no luck. I emailed the salesman to see if an additional amount down could change the outcome-no response. Emailed again, he said he would call me-still waiting. Bad customer service. Even though I had to check yes or no to refer this dealer, I really can't say. Maybe would be a better answer.

It happen twice in 1 month that they told me the car is available and when I drove there after leaving work early they told me we just sold the car I even called on before leaving the work to confirm if the car is still there and the Internet sales manager said yes it's here. Than they tried to show me different escalade which I am not interested in. I asked to speak to the manager and all of a sudden the manager was in the meeting. I will never go back there

Why is it always "can not duplicate customer concern" until you make the service writer and mechanic ride with you? Then, like magic, they can now hear the distinctly audible problem. Ohhhh..... You meant THAT howling noise. Aside from having to bring my car in multiple times to resolve rather straight forward issues (annoying), I simply can not forgive them from giving my car back with the passenger door and window COVERED in oil. Maybe I'm a pedant, or have a different view of "Cadillac" service, but giving the car back soaked in oil is just bad form. I'm not talking about a single drip either. My car was either parked under another car that was leaking, or their overhead oil line was leaking significantly. This occurred about 6 months ago, and I still get oily streaks on my passenger window when I put it down due to the sweep being oil soaked. When I voiced my concern to the service advisor, they wiped the door and window with a paper towel and glass cleaner. Glass cleaner doesn't belong on paint, either do paper towels. They were still unwilling to actually wash the car or replace the window sweep. I stopped going there for service after this incident. Call it the straw that broke the camel's back.

Have a 2013 CTS with free maintenance for 4 years (i.e. oil changes, tire rotation). Car was purchased at another dealer further from my home (reason from not purchasing at Patrick is subject of another review), but decided to contact Patrick Cadillac when oil life was at 20% (otherwise Cadillac will pay for free oil change). Service Advisor said they wouldn't do the oil change until it was at 10%. FYI, Heritage in Lombard, and Motorwerks in Barrington who will do it at 20%. I also assume most every other Cadillac dealer will also provide the service at 20%.

I purchased a new CTS from Patrick, and was happy with the salesman and the purchase process. That, however, is where anything I have to say about Patrick Cadillac is positive. I was told to bring the car back in a week to take car of a small scratch that was on the rear bumper cover. I brought it back, and 7 days later, was told my car was ready. The next morning, I saw that the scratch had been repaired, but I noticed that the black plastic trim on the drivers door had an area about the size of a thumb print where the black color had been removed, and was now an off white color. I called Patrick and was told to bring it in the next day. Once again, 7 days later, I was told my car was ready. I went to pick it up at night, and saw that the plastic trim piece had not been replaced, and still showed the white circle on it. I was apologized to, and told to bring it back the next day when the shop manager would be in. When I got home in my garage, I was shocked to find that my windshield had black paint over spray on it, and the entire section on the drivers side over both front and rear doors had been crudely sanded down and repainted. There were sanding swirl marks in the sheet metal of the car, and the chrome trim over both doors, from front to back had been sanded, and now looked like brushed aluminum instead of a chrome finish. I was on the phone first thing in the morning, and was told to bring t back in "when the salesman" who sold me the car was in! I explained it had nothing to do with any salesman, and asked to be transferred to the body shop. I spoke to the body shop manager, who told me that my car had never been in his shop, there was no record of it! I then spoke to the sales manager, who told me that "sometimes, we send cars out to other body shops, and that's what happened." WE didn't do any work on your car, Carneca Auto Body Shop did." I was told to bring my car back in, and they would take care of it. Five days later, I picked up my car, the paint and sanding imperfections were taken car of, but the chrome trim was still horrible looking after having been sanded, and the mark on the plastic trim STILL wasn't fixed. I was told they would call me in "a few days" to schedule the repairs." No one ever called. I called Steve Kahn, Customer Relations Manager over a dozen times and left messages. He never returned my calls. I contacted GM and filed a complaint. GM called my every single business day for over a month to report to me what they were doing. They would call Patrick EVERY SINGLE DAY and were lied to, being told that Patrick would call me that day, and take care of everything. No one ever contacted me from Patrick. GM apologized to me, and said there was nothing they could do. The GM rep was shocked by the lies that were told to her by Patrick staff. My family has bought cars from Patrick for over 30 years, and this is how I was treated. The absolute WORST dealer I have ever dealt with. I am PROUD to say that I have successfully talked 4 people so far out of buying a vehicle from the Patrick Group, and I will continue to do so. STAY CLEAR OF THESE LIARS!

Found a great car for a great price here...everything was as we were promised it would be until we were signing papers for financing...tried to throw us a curve ball with unwanted aditions to the loan...all worked out in the end...got the car we wanted for an even better price than anticipated!!

There are so many dealerships to choose from, don't waste your time at this one. They don't honor the price they quote you. They lowball your trade in then tell you to go to carmax for a price which was $3000 more than there offer. Do yourself a favor and drive right past this place.

When I called this dealer to tell them I was interested in the car listed on Cars.com. They quoted me $2000 more then the price listed on cars.com. When I told them it was a higher price then quoted they claimed they didn't even know who cars.com was and did not authorize the price.

I went to have my car thoroughly checked in their service department. My question was if I should invest money in repairs and keep the car or not. I also had a couple of issues that I mentioned to Jim as I was leaving the car. One of which was wet carpet underneath the floor mat on the drivers side. I agreed that I will pay the diagnostic fee of $136 and they will ask me before they do anything to the car. No one called from the dealership although Jim said he will call me. When I called after 4:00 p.m. Jim said that the car is in very good condition, there isnt any moisture underneath the floor mat and that they have replaced the light bulb without asking me because it is a safety issue. When I went to pick up my car and pay the bill I found out that the charge for labor on bulb replacement was $80 and the carpet underneath the floor mat was simply wet. I wonder if anyone had ever looked at the car!?!? Was I just charged $136 for parking my car at the dealership for a day? Is really the labor for replacing a light bulb $80? I dont have the answers to these questions, but how could I trust this place ever again! This is definitely not a place I would go back to for anything. Would you?

My email specifically asked if the Volvo that was listed was truly new or if it was a loaner. I got a fast reply- "Good news, the car is brand new." I phoned and scheduled an apt to come see it two days later. I fully planned to buy it- my wife even took the train out and met me for the appointment expecting we'd work a deal and head home in a new car. The car was in terrible shape. One of the employees had been driving it as their personal company car- it had over 3k miles and it was dirty. Coffee stains in the cup holder, animal hair everywhere, paw prints on the seats, and the passenger vanity mirror was smashed. This car wasn't just used, it was abused, and Patrick was too lazy to have a porter get it cleaned up for my visit. I suppose I was lucky the employee was willing to leave it behind and take another car home that night- ha! Patrick Volvo succeeded in getting me in the door off the internet. They also succeeded in making me feel like a fool for trusting their internet team's email reply. I'll now will never buy a car at Patrick. HOWEVER, the salesman clearly understood my disappointment and did seem like a nice guy- none of this was his fault of course.

Agreed on a price for 2011 CTS, and agreed on a trade-in value for my Chevy Cruze. Sales Manager shook my hand and said "we have a deal". However, after a good hour of waiting for the paperwork to be drawn up, lo and behold the sales price on the paperwork was $1250 higher than what we agreed on. When I noticed the discrepancy he tried to shake my hand again, while saying "oh, we can't do that". I guess they figured I was emotionally invested by that point. They figured they'd tried to slip it past me, or that I would just break and offer more after we had a deal! I definitely felt scammed! Buyer beware! If you deal with these people, do so at your own risk, and review the paperwork before signing anything! Unbelievably negative experience!!!

I made an offer on the "make offer" part of the email: I got a response (on two cars) the cars are at its lowest price right now. Come in and we'll see if we can make a deal. Wow, why ask for making an offer when they say No and why tell me to drive 40 miles to see if we can!!!!! My goal is to buy a car...not barter

Called the dealership concerning an internet ad with no price information to get a price. I waited on hold for 5 minutes for a salesperson to answer. When they answered they put me on hold to get the price. After waiting awhile they returned to the phone with the car information but wanted me to wait on hold again to check on the car price. The salesperson became rude, so I lost interest. I guess they don't want to sell cars.

I went to Patrick Volvo and bought a 2007 XC90 V8 with 37xxx miles on the clock. It was out of warranty by its in-service date. When I bought the car the sales person "tola" told me they recently did the 37,500 mile service which according to their own records is un-true I found out today. I should have been worried because when I saw the car for the first time the "service soon"- message indicator came on, I was told by my sales person "tola" "I will send it to service, they just forgot to turn the service soon light off" after the mechanics did the service. 1-Emissions Evap Pump 30 to 50 miles and 3 days after purchase-the check engine light illuminates, I thought to myself this can be happening. Took it to service (5 days after purchase) and they told me the Emissions Evap Pump has failed according to the computer. - First service told me you will have to pay 600 dollars for your car that you have had for 5 days, - I said no way am I paying 600 dollars, then the service people got the manager(Justin I think) who told me-You should have bought a GM warranty, I did not want a Mwarranty on a VOLVO!!! The Volvo xc90 not a GM car(no offense GM). Then the manager told me he will charge me 300 for the pump, I again told him no way!!!! I was really upset they made no effort to fix the pump free-of-charge seeing as I had the car 5 days and 30-50 miles.-If I had the car for a month I could understand them not wanting to fix it. - BUT 5 DAYS? I told him Im not paying one cent for the new pump, for a car I have had 5 days total and 30-50 miles. As it stands the car will need this fixed to pass emissions. 2-Headlights corroded [A safety issue] The headlights are a mess (they are hazed and corroded so bad they are like sand paper kinda odd for a 2007 model year with 37k mi ) Patrick Volvo was very sneaky about presenting the car to me they pulled the car forward so far over the curb stop, the space between the front of the XC90 and the bushes was less then half a foot( so unless I wanted to stand in Patrick Volvo's bushes, I would not have been able to see the headlights). Then "tola" the sales person, flung open the door and said et in I saw the pictures of the car VIA cars and Patrickvolvo com none of the pictures showed these hazed nasty headlights. Its more then just ugly looking headlights as the light coming from them at night seems dim-[An obvious safety flaw, from representatives(PatrickVolvo) from a car company that claims to be Volvo the "ultimate Safety Machine ]. -I asked the manager about the headlights and the manager told me don't worry about it, its fine, we have a guy who can buff them out, --but the "guy who can buff the headlights out" came over and looked and told me he cant buff them out, he said he recommends replacement. Fuel filler door hinge The fuel filler door hinge is also broken which I would have no way of knowing until I put gas in the car.-I did not open the fuel door until after I paid for the car. When I put gas in it. End of story is nothing is fixed I owe the bank just shy of 30k , my car wont pass emissions , my headlights are corroded, my gas tank door wont lock so it flops around waiting to be snapped off. PLEASE THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT BUYING ANY CAR FROM THE PATRICK VOLVO/PATRICK AUTO GROUP.....You will be screwedYou will buy a new to you car with low miles and the car will need new a(n) Emissions Evap Pump 600 ,Headlights corroded-replacement 1000 ,an Fuel filler door hinge 80, =1680 to be fixed with-in 5 days of ownership.

Found a car I wanted at this dealership displayed on Cars.com. Unfortunately it didn't list mileage and price at that time as it just came out. I called the dealer and asked for the mileage and price. They said that they will call me back. They called me back in 1 hour to let me know that they will call me again as the car is in detail shop. They never called me. Next day I called again in the morning. They promised to call back - never called back. I called one more time in the afternoon with the same result. This is unfortunate that this dealer lists cars, without knowing basic facts prior to listing. This is even more unfortunate when the dealer does not follow up on the calls and such simple inquiries as price and mileage of a car listed in stock.

Purchased a used vehicle from dealership in December 2011 and within first 30 days engine light went on and it was discovered the vehicle needed over $2000 in repairs. (Low oil psi, cylinder misfire and loose front tie rods - one dangerously loose). Contacted the dealership to see if there was anything they could do, but has not offered any help to correct the problem.
