Highly recommend Penn Toyota. Luis was fantastic and went above and beyond in his professionalism. He was pleasant and extremely patient explaining everything regarding the vehicle. Penn Toyota provided the BEST car dealership experience of my life. Joni in sales was terrific- great follow up and follow through, and at my request she made the process as efficient as possible. Nick in Finance was also terrific- great at explaining paperwork and options and there was zero pressure on any front. Truly good people. I went into the dealership to test drive a Toyota RAv4. My initial greeting was with Manny one of the managers, we spoke for 20 minutes never once about cars. Finally he set me with Joni Glantz one of the salespersons. I got test drive a RAV4 with her, she went over the features and gave me some prices. Manny asked me to look over RAV4s and he improved on the prices. He said please give him a call prior to signing on the dotted line somewhere else. I did make the telephone call, and he got back back to me promptly with a much better deal and more in my price range.. The price and the experience were excellent. I would highly recommend this dealeership. I was treated great by managers Manny, Phil, Morris, and especially Joni Glantz.

5 Stars! My wife and I bought a used Camry from Penn Toyota today and we had a great experience. Tommy Kim went above and beyond to find the car that was right for us and worked with us to affordably add on options we really wanted, such as a remote start. Tommy was straight forward, honest, and took the time to explain the features and options available. The Dealership was spotless and spacious and everybody treated us respectfully. I came in to Penn Toyota to have my previous car service and while waiting I spoke to Mike Fox about upgrading. Mr. Fox was amazing from the beginning to the end of the process that was extremely fast. He was able to find me a much better car with all the bells and whistles and extremely LOW mileage and was to my satisfaction. Mr. Fox proceeded to introduce me to Nick (finance) who work diligently with myself and the banks to get me the best possible numbers that I could ever ask for. Last but certainly not least Andy (Service Advisor) ensure me that I was making a better choice by upgrading by informing me of the pros and cons between the vehicles. Mr. Fox made himself available even staying late to accommodate me. He kept the lines of communication open at all times and going above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. Just leased my 5th vehicle in the last 20yrs. This by far was the best experience to date. Sale Manager Tony Calamia and his team of Andy Kolmer and Juan Santana were awesome. Very aggressive lease offer on my 17 Tacoma that I couldn't walk away from. If your looking for a Toyota look no further, do yourself a favor and go to Penn Toyota.

I will never bring my car to Penn for service again. I was lucky to get a flat tire. That's when I discovered that at my last service they did not tighten the lug nuts on one of my tires and 2 lug nuts were missing. That tire could have come off while I was driving. If that happened on the LIE at high speed it could have been a fatal accident. This was the second problem I had with the service department. The first one they damaged my door and didn't bother to mention it. I discovered it later and the service manager Jimmy agreed that the only way it could have happened was when the car was on the lift. Since they agreed to pay for the damage I gave them a second chance. Big mistake. Never again.

After a lot of hard bargaining I bought a 2007 Sienna from Joni at Penn Toyota. The car was in excellent shape as my own mechanic later attested. However there was an aftermarket alarm system that kept going off for no reason. Although this probably should have been taken care of prior to the purchase, Joni agree to pay for the repair without my having to drive another 3 hours to Penn Toyota, as I live upstate. Therefore I would highly recommend

I was trying to reschedule my next service appointment and one of the representative started get angry with rude attitude repeatedly asking about appointment despite that I gave her all the information. They don't know what they are doing and they treat their customers outstandingly well.

My friend who has a long years of experience as a customer with Penn Toyota recommended me to see Joni Glantz before I go to any other dealership to lease a Toyota RAV4. I did it and I have to admit that I am impressed from service that Joni provided. She spend as much time as was necessary to make sure that we are happy with the deal. She was very friendly and most important absolutely not pushy. What usually salespersons do, they pushing hard to sell you the product, which is usually an annoying experience. What I liked in Joni was her alternative and more effective approach, to spend as much time as necessary so we could be convinced that we lease the right car with the right price. Our salesman or lack of "sales"man, Mr. Alan Lu, refused to negotiate their price. He gave us an offer and did not want to budge. We looked up the vehicle that we were interested in on Truecar.com and it recommended three dealerships that would honor the price. However, a neighbor of ours recommended the dealership and the salesman, so we decided to check them out. That was the worst mistake ever. We didn't expect him to match the price but we did expect to negotiate. Instead he proceeded to say that Truecar was incorrect and they don't have the options correct and their price is unrealistic. He then proceeded to show me how it works, and wouldn't you know it was the same price that I showed him. Yet he still refused to negotiate. At which point I had enough and stated we would go to another dealership. Mr. Lu then told his supervisor who stated that no other dealership has the car we want, I told him his salesman refuses to negotiate so we have nothing to talk about. We then went to another Dealership Millenium Toyota and dealt with Feenando Gonzalez who provided excellent customer service and gave us a great deal on the Rav4 that we wanted. So I guess that other dealership had the vehicle that we wanted and was willing to negotiate. The supervisor and Alan Lu can learn a few things from Millenium Toyota.

Having been away from buying a new car for a very long time. I had trepidations about the entire experience. Used Penn Toyota years ago. For purchase and service. Was really disappointed and never satisfied, do gor like 10 years used another dealer on Long Island for my Toyota purchases and needs. It was sad. Soup to nuts it was typical, and kind of sleazy. HOWEVER.... Recently purchased (four months ago) a new RAV4 from Penn Toyota. From the showroom itself, the staff in general, and my amazing salesman Shawn Banks (please ask for him), the support staff, the environment, the service department and the service department reps, even the phone girls, and the service in take guys, were real, caring, no bull****, straight up and fair. The "here's the real deal" negotiations, and the ultimate fairness with regard to my trade in, I've never been happier before with any car anywhere that I've ever purchased, or any car buying experience. They came in with the right package and numbers, without playing games. I literally said "YES" and barely had to counter offer or negotiate... And, in the past I've used local BMW and MERCEDES dealers too. Penn was more together than these luxury dealers. By the way, the car is awesome. There were some minor issues early on that were attended to immediately with great attention and care. I'm so far a very satisfied customer.Ethan Hurt

We made the deal when we were ready and Chris, Phil and Todd were there to assist us every step of the way. We got a fair deal and have absolutely no regrets. Toyota is a great car and there are plenty of Toyota dealers to choose from and there are at least 3 dealerships between my home and Penn Toyota. Penn was worth the drive.

I highly recommend you going here. Alan and Tony are very professional. I went to at least 15 Toyota dealers looking for a 2016 Rav 4 and no one could even come close to the deal Alan Lu and Tony gave me. The original 2016 Rav 4 car I pick had and sensor issue and Alan was up front with me and said if I did not want the car I could get a different car. I chose a different Rav 4 for the same price. If you are looking for a car I say go here first and watch all the other dealers say they have no idea how you got that price. They would only match Alan and Tony's price not beat it. So to me if I where to go some where else to get the same deal it was not fair to the people who gave me the best deal from the start. Also the original 2016 Rav 4 I picked had a Sensor issue on a new car and was stated to me up front and they did not hide anything. Great people.

Recently bought a used Corolla from Penn Toyota...overall a good experience. Shaun Banks was my salesman and he made it very comfortable and no-stress. I was interested in purchasing a new car for a while but was nervous about the process. Penn Toyota came highly recommended from a close friend. I met Joni Glantz a salesperson and she helped me through the process of picking out a Tacoma pick up truck. Joni worked with me for months and rather than sell me an available truck on the lot, worked with me for over a month to make sure we found the exact vehicle I was looking for. She was so patient with me! I called her with questions, visited the dealership multiple times for test drives... I ordered a custom Tacoma and it came within a few weeks. Joni looked out for me and got me the vehicle I had dreamed about. Upon delivery the team walked me through financing, warranties & accessories. Joni took time out of her busy schedule to show me all of the bells and whistles my truck had to offer. I just stopped in for my first check up and I was lucky enough to meet Chris Penn who personally helped me out and talked to me about my purchase. My husband and I expected we were going to meet a rude, impatient, typical salesman, but we were fortunate enough to be greeted by Sean Haghighi. He was the most laid back down to earth guy, and that is why we had no reason to go anywhere else after meeting him! Although we were probably a salesman's nightmare with the amount of testdrives/ questions we had, Sean patiently addressed all of our concerns. It was a hard decision but Sean made it simple. Even the negotiations were pressure-free and easy. He gave us a fair deal and we were in and out rather quickly. We had been to Westbury Toyota the week before (AVOID AT ALL COSTS) and our rep, I think his name was James, treated us like dirt. If you are a consumer reading this review, I strongly urge you to take your business over to Penn Toyota and ask for Sean Haghighi if you want to be treated right.

Low pressure sales. That pretty much sums it up, right? Bought my new vehicle here, and was never once pressured in ANY way. Refreshing. Literally didn't even have to negotiate a price, the rep Alan slid a number across the table and I was very happy. SOLD! They made all the paperwork quick and painless, everyone was friendly, and the upsells (warranty, protection, etc) were brief and when refused just put away without a word. A really pleasant experience. Three thumbs up.

Initially, I scheduled an appointment to test drive a Highlander with my husband. When we arrived they had the exact model we were interested in, the XLE. We worked with Alan Lu, our sales person at PENN TOYOTA, and we made a deal the same day! We weren't expecting to complete a sales order the day we went in for out test drive but, our experience was so honest and very informative that we were sold! While driving, Alan told us about several new features and technologies of the Toyota. The vehicle had an impressive, and excellent ride. Back in the office we discussed pricing, winter time lease specials, he searched for our vehicle while we sat in the office in the exact color, interior with the features we wanted. He located it, we finalized a monthly lease price, left a deposit, and scheduled a delivery date of our new car all within an hour. We left so happy with our experience and new purchase! Our car arrived earlier than we estimated, in time for New Year. Meanwhile if we had any other questions we just texted Alan and he happily got back to us in just a few minutes....if thats not excellent customer service I don't know what it is?! I highly recommend working this dealership and salesperson.

I have bought from Penn six vehicles for three drivers over a period of about 25 years. We purchased the first vehicle new, the second one, used. When the used car proved a lemon, we had no big discussion, no back and forth. They just said "We have to make this right." That happened 20 years ago. We have since bought three other used and one new vehicle, all with great satisfaction, and have had all our service work done there.Though satisfied, occasionally, work performed has not sufficed, and a conversation with management has corrected matters. Auto repairs, labor in particular, have a high cost on LI, period. That kind of colors your mood to begin with. But I have never felt mistreated at Penn. Find a service rep who will become familiar with you and your vehicle, who will act as the representative of your interests, who you know has had the mechanic justify the necessity of a repair or a preventive service.Laurie Guigliano delivers that kind of professional customer service.

Went in to dealer on Saturday to get prices to lease a new pickup truck. Spent about a hour and a half there as they worked to get a lease price and trade in value for my car. They gave me a very good deal but just wanted to do my homework before I sign agreement. I called on monday and spoke to sales person who said she would be back in on Wednesday so I could finalize deal. When I came back Wednesday they tried to switch me into a more expensive model at first, but I said lets just stay with the original deal. When we went to sit down to write out the deal they changed the miles from 12000 miles a years to 7500 miles a year. At this point they said that's deals not even possible. I got up told them thank you for your time and left. They did the typical car deal moves. In the long run all they did was waste my time. Even if they called me back to do the deal I wouldn't do it. I asked about 10 times the first day about the miles and it was even written a the piece of paper the sales lady had from our first meet. To all beware.

I recently purchased my 4th Scion at Penn (my 2nd with Joni Glantz). We all know that the car buying experience can be stressful for many reasons. Although it does take several hours to complete the transaction, the professionalism, respect, and total concern for the customer here make the experience as painless as possibleand also as exciting as possible. Over the years (and this purchase is no exception) everyone I have ever met at Penn has been courteous and helpful. Several staff members know me by name (or at least recognize me) when I come in for any reason. Joni's relationship as a car seller doesn't end when you drive away. She calls and e-mails to make sure you're happy with the car and have no questionsshe even mails a personalized thank-you card! And every question or concern you ask her is answered as quickly as humanly possible, often on the same day. Plus, with Scion's "Pure Price" policy, no negotiating is necessary on the car price. I did some simple negotiating on my trade-in, and it was quick and agreeable. Penn is my car dealer, even though it's not the closest location to where I live. I can't imagine any reason to shop anywhere else.

I give them highest rating after spending day before at a couple of other Toyota dealership when I've been given the usual "song and the dance" to hassle me into a "great deal". It is the same routine like watching a bad movie that insults your intelligence. Coming to Penn was like a breath of fresh air. My lease was up and wanted to lease the same model of a car and at the same terms. They just said "No problem". Short while later we exchanged the keys and off I went HAPPY. On the side note, the dealership is very nice, modern and in a good location. Staff is very professional and other customers looked like me, HAPPY.

My salesperson was Shamus McLaughlin and he was very helpful and patient and understanding. There was no pressure from him even though it took me a while to finally decide on my purchase of the Rav 4 and even when I had to ask for my deposit back. I guess he knew that I would come back and purchase the car. He was very understanding during the entire proccess. James Delyanis went out of his way and picked me up when it came time for me to take ownership of the car since I was transferring my plates from my old car and there was no way for me to get to the dealership. Joe Jordan stepped in for Shamus on the day that I picked up the car since it was Shamus' day off and he went over everything in the car and showed me how everything worked. They made my car buying experience very easy and pleasant. In fact, Shamus told me that I could back back whenever I needed to in order to go over everything that I didn't understand. They tend to make their own rules. I was reassured by Toyota Financial that I can return my leased car at the end of the lease period to any dealership as long as I schedule it with them. Tried to schedule a return from Penn Toyota but was refused because I am not their customer and that I am not getting another car from them. This is unprofessional and wrong.Update:Augie, lease manager, called me back and I was getting nowhere with these people. He was RUDE and difficult to speak to as most of the time he was aggressive and defensive. Can't believe he is the manager as his professionalism was quite lacking. Luckily, I found another Toyota dealership down the road to take the car.

Before going to Penn Toyota, my husband and I visited three other Toyota dealers. We were not happy with any of them. One dealer was dishonest in telling us over the phone that they had the car and color we wanted. However, that proved to be incorrect. Another dealer's salesman did not know too much about the car that we wanted to buy. He was not very knowledgeable about anything. In fact, my husband knew more about the car than the salesman knew. Hence, we were not comfortable purchasing a car from that dealership because other staff members were not helpful, as well. The third dealer refused to negotiate with the price. It was almost as if they didn't want to sell the car. Needless to say, we were very discouraged and were not looking forward to going to another Toyota dealer. We called Penn Toyota and made an appointment to visit them. When we got there, we met the salesman Shamus. He was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect about the car. We also met other staff members, Tony, the manager, who as wonderful Manny appraised the car we were trading at a very fair price, James the finance manager who negotiated a very fair extended warranty contract. Every staff member was extremely pleasant, friendly and accommodating. The price for the car was better that the previous dealers. Shamus is a gem. He we went over all of the features of the car, connected my phone to the Bluetooth, showed us how to work the GPS, etc. He was the complete opposite of the salesman in the other dealership who knew nothing about the car. Even after we purchased the car, we were told that if we had any questions, we could come back as often as we wanted. What more could we ask for? We were told that the Penn Toyota dealership is family owned and operated. Well, we can tell you this. We felt like family when we were there and when we left. Kudos to Penn Toyota. We received letters from Penn Toyota at least monthly since we purchased our car about how high the demand for 2008 Highlander was and how much they wanted to purchase it from us. We went into the dealer and were made a reasonable offer. We went ahead and test drove a Camry but were very clear that we were not interested in purchasing it. We went back a few weeks later (after receiving not one but two urgent letters) and offered to sell the car for the quoted price. We were told they did not have demand for the car and were offered half of the original offer. The manger who wrote to us (Chris Mignano) was in when we visited but shockingly no one seemed to be able to find him to speak to us.

I bought my 2013 Prius there. It was by far the worse experience I had in all my years of buying vehicles. The finance guy was a complete jerk. Wanted to negotiate in bad faith from the start. He wanted to sell me an extended warranty and if didn't buy it he was going to up the price of car. xxx? I should have walked out right there. He also proceeded to mess all the final paperwork up. All the math was wrong but in his favor a course. I had to come back because the paper work was so bad. The next day after signing and driving away with the car I reviewed the paper work better and realized that he over charged me by $500. I had to drive over to them and get a refund. Their service department sucks. Long wait times and they will rip you off. Don't ever buy a car there please do yourself that favor. They have diagnostic fee of about $120. So if you decide that you can't afford the work. ..guess what $120 for them. I paid $200, for $59 headlights plus two hours wait. Never again... Stay away!,,,

Worst experience ever! Moved to connecticut, read some reviews that said its the best dealership within driving distance, and stupid me believed it. Rented a car, drove 2 hrs to get there and saw an FJ Cruiser I really wanted. Showing commitment, I put down $1000 downpayment, and in the meantime, they were going to figure out a payment plan. Unfortunately, I was not approved (I am Canadian and do not have credit history in the States), so I sadly had to withdraw from purchasing the car. I asked for my refund back It has been THREE WEEKS! Every time I call to ask about my refund, I now can expect a series of things to happen. 1) The financing office will tell me it has never been processed when my dealer said he did it. 2) My dealer will tell me that he will make sure it happens; guess what it still has not happened, and probably never will with his lying face around. 3) the manager says he will take care of it you guessed it they didn't do xxxx. 4) they will put you on hold for 20 mins, then tell you they will call you back hey, it's been 2 days and no one has called back. They are liars, they are cheaters and they are lazy. I don't even know how people gave them 5 stars, 1 star seems too much for them. It shouldn't be that hard to process a refund that is rightfully mine and I wanted the car to begin with it's their xxxxxxxx system that rejected me. I will be as annoying as they are, and call every day, until I've had enough, then I will drive down there, make a scene, and make sure I get my refund back, and any customer in that store will not buy a xxxx thing on that day. Don't get me wrong, Toyota is awesome, it is just that Penn Toyota specifically sucks at life.Rant done!

The previous review about the minimum 2 hour wait is so true! I have never gotten out of there in less than 2 hours. Scion website says oil change EVERY 7500 MILES. They must not sell many scions because they insist on doing the oil change at 5000 miles for synthetic oil. Why is this a problem you might ask? Its not if they ACTUALLY do the oil change BUT THEY DONT! THE MECHANIC ACTUALLY TOLD ME THEY ONLY CHANGE IT EVERY 10,000 MILES FOR SYNTHETIC OIL! That means instead of getting three oil changes under their 25,000 free maintenance plan you only get two actual oil changes. At 5,000 miles, 15,000 miles and any 25,000 miles there is no oil change. SO WHY AM I STILL SITTING THEIR FOR AT LEAST TWO HOURS AT THOSE MAINTENANCE APPOINTMENTS? You should see all the people sitting for their cars to be serviced. They all have angry looks on their faces.And by the way, appointment or no appointment, its a two hour wait.

I have found the sales people and the service department to be outstanding. I purchased a Prius from Penn Toyota in 2001, traded it in for a new Prius in 2005, and then traded that in for a used 2012 Prius plug-in in 2014. I also bought a used 2001 Sienna in 2004. Each time the sales people were knowledgeable and friendly. [While all the sales people are very good, I found Joni Glantz to be superb.] I do all my servicing here, because it is done right. Jimmy Miga, the service manager knows me, and he knows my cars. The waiting area is clean, well-lighted, with free coffee and comfortable furniture. While the cost of service at a dealership may be more than at a local gas-station, I have confidence that the service department here knows these cars, and it is worth paying for quality work. They have never tried to push me to buy a more expensive car than I wanted, or to have service work I didn't need. I like the way they treat me, and I like the way they treat my cars, so it is worth going here, despite the fact that there are other Toyota dealers closer to me.

Just two months ago, we bought a Toyota Camry Hybrid at Penn Toyota. And just few months before that, I bought Tacoma TRD for myself at another location. Although it took us time to wait for the paperwork at Penn, it was nothing compared to half-a-day at previous dealership. After one week one set of keys stopped working, but it was fixed by Penn Toyota right away with no charge and with very polite attention from Joni Glantz, who actually gave to us initially the best deal on our buy. While I was waiting for the paperwork, our sales representative, Alan Lu was entertaining me, replying to all my questions and giving me information that may be useful in the future. Maybe I was lucky, but from my experience, I would highly recommend Penn Toyota to all my friends.

The buying experience was very pleasant and no BS. I think the sales person sized me up correctly. I am ready to buy and don't play the "I have to talk to my manager" games.I went in with a price and they beat it, I lease every 3 years and usually HATE dealers, but so far so good. From the time you roll your car into the service area the customer is treated as a valued customer. The service department is always clean and the waiting area is very nice also with comfortable chairs and WiFi. The service manager ( Jimmy Miga ) listens to the customer and makes sure the issue is addressed properly. Have never had a bad experience with Penn Toyota. I don't usually write bad reviews but this place really needs one. I bought a brand new Toyota Camry 2013 and since the day I bought it the steering wheel has been making noises. When I went in for service they told me they don't have time to check it because it's normal (even though I set up an appointment). After screaming and ranting they finally admitted there was an issue but they did not know how to fix it. After sotting there for 3 hours they told me they can't figure it out. I took it to my local shop and they replaced it within minutes and had it good as new. Not to mention when I bought the car this "joe" guy that everyone praises is a complete a hole. All he cares about is money and if you get a dime off the price of the car and don't buy his garbage total protection instance, he will give you a nasty attitude. DO NOT GO HERE. Being a customer for over 7 years does not matter to them.

I walked into the dealership looking at the Toyota Avalon. Shamus meet us and took us for a test drive. The manager spoke to us with Shamus and said he could give us a better deal on a new 2013 Avalon. He had a 2013 on the floor with the exact color and more options that we wanted. We looked at the Impala, Lexus 350, Chrysler 300 and the Toyota Avalon. It was a hard choice between the Lexus and the Toyota. The Toyota was a little larger then the Lexus and about 10,000 less. As of today, we are happy about our decision.

just recently got my 2nd car from Penn Toyota. I have had positive experience with Penn. It was the stellar experience that I had with Alan Lu the sales person. I wanted a small SUV after this horrible winter. when I was in the dealership I met with a very friendly and helpful salesman. He answered all my questions. An hour and half later I am riding on my new rav4. As long as my wife don't force me to get a Bmw or Audi, I will always buy Toyota from Penn.

I was completely scammed by sales person JONI GLANTZ. I had talked to her on the phone several times about returning our leased Camry early and making a deal by agreeing to purchasing another vehicle from Penn Toyota. She kept calling and pursuing me stating she'll make us a great deal. We returned the car, we made a $418.28 "final payment" on the Camry that day ( 6/24/2014) AND we bought another car from her at the full asking price. Done deal. Now a month later we get a letter from Toyota stating we owe $3,006.03 due to excess miles on the vehicle. She now wants to claim the "final payment" on the Camry we made was to pay off the full length of the lease. But we returned the lease over a month early. We would've kept the Camry until the end of the lease period if that was the case. AND, where's this great deal she spoke of??? We returned the car early, still paid for the full length of the lease, bought a used car for the full asking price (which was grossly higher then its worth), and now we are responsible for all the excess mileage??? After 8 years of driving a car through the snow and ice, I decided it was time to purchase a SUV. I knew exactly what I wanted but wasn't exactly sure where to purchase it. I was in the market for a CPO Toyota 4runner. After googling the local Toyota dealerships, Penn Toyota seemed to have what I was looking for. We all know that car dealerships have notoriously bad reputations so I was a bit skeptical...at first. Once I arrived at Penn I was greeted at the front door by a very nice young lady. I told her what i was looking for and she asked me to hold on a second while she called someone to help. That someone turned out to be Tommy Kim. Tommy was very helpful, knowledgeable and an all around great guy. He showed me a 2011 4runner and I knew that was it!! We sat down to talk numbers where I met Manny Kontonicolas. Manny is another knowledgeable and great guy at Penn Toyota. A week later, I came back to pick up the truck. Once there everything went as smooth as silk. I would highly recommend Penn Toyota to anyone.

This place is very dishonest. I gave in my 3 keys when i leased my car. They delivered 3 separate times that day and each car gave me problems. One was grey, one was black, and one had a spoiler. They changed the car so many times i decided to just pay the extra monthly fee and take the one with the spoiler. After 3 months (without any notice) they contact me saying one key is missing (even though on the odometer report it says 3 keys were handed in) and they are charging me $271. I dealt with Joe at the dealership. He is a middle aged man that knows almost nothing about the cars there and makes frequent mistakes. His manager Tony cursed us out for not being happy with the mistaken vehicle they delivered to us that day. Ray the manager of the shop did not help at all as he was "too busy to deal with a customer". I highly suggest you do not deal with this dealer as there are much better Toyota dealers in the area that will offer you the same thing.

Purchased Toyota Sienna. Price was OK. David Salkin lied to us. He stated the keyless entry remotes only came with car if we also purchased an alarm from him. The keyless entry remotes are clearly listed as a standard feature with the automobile. I found them in the glove box. He then frantically looked for them but could not find them. When I asked him what he was looking for he said he dropped his comb. Did he drop them in the glove box and rear compartment. I caught him in a lie. Then when I showed him the list of standard features he said he did not realize it. They were trying to get me to pay for an alarm I did not want. STEER CLEAR OF THESE THIEVES. I spoke to the manager but he was no help. Also, about two months after bringing the car home I realized one of the hub caps was different than the others. When I brought this to their attention they said I must have changed it. I had a terrible experience with Penn Toyota.

From the moment we stepped into the dealership we were treated in a friendly,courteous,and professional manner. We already knew the Camry we were looking for based on our online research. James Clemmons was our sales person and we sat with him as he confirmed the details of this particular car. After this initial conversation, James took us to see the car and go for a test drive. He sat with us in the car afterwards and reviewed all the features of this fully loaded 2011 Camry XLE, including how to work the Navigation, heated seats, Bluetooth etc. The lens on the passenger side running light was broken and he assured us that it would be replaced before sale as this car had just been received off lease that week. We also were interested in the certified 12mo./12000mi. bumper to bumper extended warranty which we got at a very good price. Our other concern was that the car only had one available key which was a deal breaker for us. We had to wait a few days after agreeing on this car but eventually James was able to provide us with two sets of keys plus an additional "valet" key at no extra charge. Our overall experience,regarding price, service and attention to detail was excellent! Thank you James!

Be careful when you bring your car into the Service Department. My brief experience was this: I brought my car in for a recall. I get a call from the owner of Penn Toyota's brother who works in the service department stating that the front brakes should be replaced they are down to 3mm. I don't know what that means but it sure sounds like its low so I tell him thanks but I will get the brakes done by my own local mechanic. I bring my car to my mechanic and I get a call a few hours later and my mechanic tells me that the front brakes look just fine, there is about half of the pad left. I was annoyed that Penn Toyota was recommending that the brakes should be replaced so I contacted Jim Miga who asked my to bring the car in so he can inspect it in front of me with the mechanic and get to the bottom of the problem. I bring my car in, they take my car into the service department and about 10-15 minutes later Jim gets me and we walk to my car. They lift up the car and they take out a tool Toyota gives the service men to measure the pads and show me that the pads are at about a 4 on their meter. Jim felt confident with those results and felt like there was nothing wrong done by Penn Toyota and, for my trouble, I was offered a price of 159.99 to replace the brakes whenever I wanted them done(the current internet coupon price).Well that was about a month ago. Getting nervous that the brakes are getting low I decided to drop my car off yesterday at a Mavis repair shop to get the front brakes replaced. I drop my car off and about 15 minutes later I get a call from the manager of Mavis and he tells me that there is no need to replace the brakes, they have just less than half of a brake pad left. The manager tells me that there is a good 10,000 miles left on those pads unless I drive and brake really hard then obviously they will have to be replaced sooner than 10,000 more miles.I can understand that maybe my own local mechanic could have a difference of opinion from corporate Toyota on when it is recommended to replace the brake pads but hearing from a second independent mechanic, coming from a shop that I have never done business with in the past, an entire month later, that the brakes are still good and should not be replaced is disturbing.

I cant speak highly enough about my experiences at Penn Toyota.I leased my first Prius from them in 2010 and leased my second one about 6 weeks ago.The exceptional service provided by Jimmy Miga (Service Manager) has kept me coming back. The service provided AFTER you make the purchase means everything to me. Jimmy takes every concern seriously (no matter how trivial). If he doesnt have the answer, he will get it. He follows up. He makes himself completely accessible to customers and he is always pleasant and professional. Jimmy has always provided me with a loaner car if they needed to keep my car overnight. Hes honest and provides realistic expectations and because of that, he is able to deliver on his promises. This man always goes the extra mile. He is all about customer service and will always find a way to make things right. Hes made me a very loyal customer.The entire facility was renovated about a year ago. The space is very comfortable and the waiting area has a large screen television, and beverages are available.Joni Glantz is the master sales consultant who took me through the lease process this time around. I found Joni to be honest and knowledgeable. She guided me and let me know at what point a new lease would make financial sense and when it would not. She followed up on everything she said. She is VERY dedicated and went way beyond in so many ways. She made sure that I knew she was accessible to me even on her days off. She stayed very late to work with me on several occasions. Anytime I had a question she did not know, she made sure to find out. Never double talk. Completely trustworthy. Always respectful. Never pushy. Joni conveyed that she cared and that she believes in the cars she sells and she worked with me to get the best deal possible. I hope to have her sell and lease my cars for years to come. I will highly recommend her to anyone interested in purchasing a Toyota vehicle.Others Ive worked with at this dealership who are worthy of special mention because they too are VERY customer service oriented:Ray Bell (Sales Manager) who sat down with me to fully explain what all the numbers meant.Laurie Guigliano (Service Department) who is my go to person for scheduling service appointments and arranging for loaner cars. Mike Piedmont made us feel comfortable from the beginning. He was friendly and gave us the feeling that here was a person we could work with. Mike determined what model we were interested in and made sure we were comfortable while he went to get the demonstrator. He brought up a Sienna and not only explained the features, but demonstrated them. We were able to agree on a mutually acceptable price and the sale was completed. This place is pretty horrible; however, I must add that many dealerships in this area are likewise.My problems here surfaced when I first went to purchase a vehicle in 2012. I was given an out the door price that I was told was the complete price inclusive of everything - tax, DMV charges etc. To my surprise, when I went in to purchase the vehicle the next day I was told there was a misunderstanding or miscommunication somewhere. Additional charges were being assessed. I advised the manager and rep that I was given a price that was inclusive of everything and now that was changing. I told the manager I would take my business elsewhere not because of the few hundred dollar difference but because of the broken commitment...I did! I purchase my vehicle at another Toyota dealership within a day or two. Now, I have had 5 service encounters with Toyota as regards the Toyota Care package. After a gut feeling after the second service or so I began to number my tires and note things on the vehicle to see what was actually being done relative to what was supposed to be done.On my fifth service I decided to go to Penn Toyota for convenience as it is the closest location to my house. This was the ONLY service I had done out of the 5 at this location and I proceeded with numbering my tires. After waiting about 40 or so minutes approximately I was given my vehicle back with documentation showing that the tires had been rotated and a whole host of other things done.Now, that was CLEARLY NOT the case. My tires were not rotated. My liquids were NOT topped off. Inconsistencies in my tire tread with earlier services were clear and my gut said that a whole lot more was NOT done that was checked as having been done. This dealership is definitely NOT a dealership I will go back to and I would suggest you follow suit!In addition, I called up Toyota Care's national number to complain about what I experienced and was essentially told that there is little recourse for anything as the issues are addressed through the that specific dealership. This made no sense to me and I thought it best to put this review up and look-up additional options - looking into a BBB filing and other things. I would STRONGLY recommend others follow suit with their complaints and check-up to insure they are not being defrauded as well!

First I would like to say that I am a big Toyota fan. I have been buying Toyota cars for more that 15 years and reliability has been superb. After many hours of research online looking at all mid-size SUV's, I once again decided on a Toyota. Armed with invoice and list prices, I visited Penn Toyota and purchased a Toyota Highlander Limited. Our salesman, Tommy Kim was very knowledgeable about all Toyota vehicles. He made the process of buying a car totally without stress. Once price was agreed upon we met the business manager, Morris Sutton. Perhaps realizing that we had no interest in an extended warranty, etching etc., he simply handed us his business card and stated that if we wish to purchase anything additional to please give him a call. Since the car was not on the lot it will have to be delivered from another facility. If all goes well, I will not follow up on this review. My experience with this dealership this month was quite pleasant. I walked in the dealership expecting to face long waits but I was pleased with the swiftness and efficiency of my being helped. It was actually relaxing to sit in the quiet waiting room and drink a cup of coffee as I waited, since I had been running around all day. The staff was excellent and friendly, Jimmy Miga was very helpful in assisting me. I get my car serviced regularly and have yet to encounter an unpleasant experience. Laurie Guigliano is also very polite, and I noticed that the whole staff always shows concern for any issue you may have.

My experience at Penn Toyota has been one of the most pleasurable. The courteous staff - everyone I came in contact with - made "shopping for a new car" an enjoyable event. My principal contacts have been Julian Malone and Tommy Kim. Julian has worked with me most closely in "closing the deal". He is extremely knowledgeable, anticipated all of my questions, and made sound recommendations for what he understood were my needs. I was never pressured to make decisions from the time I walked in the door and was warmly greeted by Tommy. I made several visits to the show room before finalizing the purchase and I was always treated with courtesy - and patience. I purchased a Camry and the important features and operation of the car were exhaustively explained and illustrated to me and my wife by Julian. My telephone inquiries to Julian and Tommy were always promptly answered. Morris Sutton also made valuable recommendations which I was glad to receive, and Manny was also helpful in putting the deal together. I've had the car for just a few days and am happy to report complete satisfaction. I would heartily recommend Penn Toyota.

Chris (the owner) and Joni (sales rep) along with Morris the Finance manager were stellar. I had been looking at Mercedes and Jeep and decided on the Highlander Limited. The cars were all somewhat comparable but in the end it was the service and care that Penn toyota took with me that made my decision easy. I highly, highly recmnd them for a new or used car (mine happen to be new and they beat EVERY local price)

The service department lost an expensive keychain attached to the key for my Prius. I reported it to the manager and he told me to buy a new one and they would pay me back. They have since reimbursed me for a replacement keychain.

I am not a big fan of buying a new car because of all the high pressure sales tactics you get. I was pleasantly surprised with Mark, his sales manager Frank Uvriaco,business manager Morris Sutton and customer relations manager Laurie Guigliano. I've been a customer of that dealership since 1998 and never had a bad experience with them, that's why I always go there and of course recommend them to my friends and colleagues. These guys told me one price and then slide in another price that I did not check until later. The finance guy told me about this 7 year scheme of bumper to bumper coverage that only had 3 years validity and said it will cost me $500. When I look at the bill the charge is 1250. These guys are criminals. I am still trying to get my money back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

I had contacted Penn originally via email & Joni responded right away. we made an appointment for 12/30 & withing a few hours I was out of there with a brand new 2011 Toyota RAV4. I felt the trade-in given on my car was fair & their pricing was a bit below other quotes I had gotten. It was a fast, clean & easy experience--cannot ask for more. We went into Penn Toyota just to test drive a Highlander. We were in the market, but did not expect to walk out with a new car. We were greeted by Ryan Fernandez. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable about the car, and answered all of our questions. He took time to make us feel comfortable and at ease while at the dealership. He even went out of his way to get paper and crayons for my girls to color with. He got us a great price and a generous trade-in. He was very low pressure, and did not at all make us feel uneasy. He gave us plenty of time to think about our decision. We went home and dropped off our kids, came back and bought the car! Everyone that we dealt with in the dealership - from Ryan to all the managers, to the other salesmen were all so friendly and laid back. It was by far the smoothest and easiest car buying experience we have ever had! We were driving home in our new 2012 highlander the very next day! We had decided to buy a new 2011 Prius after I had done research on hybrids. My past car buying experiences had not always been positive, so I came armed with all the prices and knew what I wanted in my new car. After reading many dealership reviews, I chose Penn Toyota, since their ratings were generally good and they were conveniently located.Upon arriving at Penn Toyota, Mike Piedmont greeted us and made us feel at ease immediately. He explained everything patiently, in detail every step of the way to make sure we understood and even insisted we take a test drive. We came with a trade-in and he did his best to give us the best offer he could for my older model car. He negotiated a fair price for the new car and Penn Toyota had a coupon for up to $750.00, for which he deducted the full value. Mike made the car buying experience the least stressful that I have ever had. Then we were taken to John who did not pressure us into buying anything we didn't want as far as "extras". Since we were not financing the car, we purchased the extended warranty and we were processed quickly. Mike showed us all the features in the car and even synched the phone to the bluetooth.We were then introduced to Laurie, the service manager, who wanted to make sure we understood all the maintenance procedures that were necessary to keep the car running well. She was sincerely interested in making sure we brought the car in regularly and told us to call her directly if we had any questions or concerns. These people treated us like customers should be treated and took their time to explain everything thoroughly.The whole thing took 4 1/2 hours and we were on our way home with our new Prius.

On 12.29.11 my family visited the Penn Toyota to purchase a used vehicle we had seen on line, after being greeted by Mike Piedmont and shown the vehicle in question we had some concern about the sound of the engine, we listened to other comparable toyota and was not to comfortable with what we heard. He took us inside and brought his manager,who immediately said "which one are you referring to the one with the blown engine, we can replace that for you,if you want it" my husband took him up on his offer and he said he could not do that, since he think thats a good deal, he then told us that Nigerians are purchasing those vehicles and sending them back to Nigeria, I was surprise, thinking of what relevance this had to do with us, I advised him that we are not Nigerians and would be using our right here. I also told hime we would like to sleep on this and would return the next day, the manager got irate, got up pushed out his chair and said " you people can sleep on it for the naxt year, I'm putting back up the original price and will sell it to smarter buyers" I asked him what makes us not smart asking questions and not purchasing because we had concerns,we decided to leave and thank Mike for his time, but expressed our shock at his manager attitude. Mike called us about 10 minutes after we left to applogize and said " I do not know what has gotten into him to behave like that and say what he said and that his Manager boss, would like for us to return and would offer us a $250 discount. I thanked him for his appology but told him we will have to pass on any offer from Penn as I found his manager behaviour reprehensable and un-called for.They called us again today to apologize and ask us to come in. I would not go back and would not recommend Penn Toyota to anyone. I would like to remind Penn that customers are entitle to ask questions about concerns, if they are not comfortable, it is your jobs to show them other items that are comparable or suggest other items, if this is not your top priority you should consider not being in this industry. Today I purchase a New 2012 Toyota high lander form Lynbrook Toyota after walking in to buy a used and because of great customer service,I changed my mind about getting a used vehicle. PENN please offer your managers a refreshers customer service course, esspecially Mike Piedmont Manager.

All i have to say about this dealership was <33333. First of all, I got off the bus early and got lost on my way here. I called the dealership and told them where i was and asked if they could pick me up, which they did. Fortunately, the driver was none other but my sales consultant. Out of all the dealerships that I have been to, he was the first to ask what i wanted and verified it. Not only that, but he also asked if i wanted him to go over the features of the car that i had my eyes set. After going through all the features of the car and showing me a few aspects of the car that i did not know the car had, I definitely fell in love with the car. After looking at the model i had my eyes set on, we sat down and discussed what i wanted in the car. He had to deal w. 4 people (myself, my mom, and my 2 cousins). There was a lot of going back and forth that we had to deal with. My first time at this dealership, although this back and forth amongst ourselves and the dealer took about 3 hours, and i'm already out the door with a brand new car at a very nice price considering the features included. <33

This is my first experience at this dealer for service. I just switched from another dealership (Millenium Toyota)as I had grown tired of their poor customer service and very poor quality of work. My experience at Penn Toyota was excellent! Even though I only had an inspection done Larry was warm,friendly and very personable.They are presently under construction but I felt they went above and beyond to make the customers as comfortable as they could. Dealer has some serious integrity issues. In short, we negotiated a sale out of state but they failed to disclose 2 issues. When I got the dealership travelling from Colorado I was really surprised to see the issues. Long version: We bought a Sienna from out of state. We negotiated the deal over the phone and were told many times the vehicle was ok and no problems with it. When I arrived after travelling from out of state I find bad scratches on the front bumper and a quarter size crack on the windshield. Obviously it is a used car but I don't have issues with the problems HOWEVER I do have issues with the fact they failed to mention these issues before I was there and during the pricing negotiation. They should have just been upfront about that in the first place.They offered a $250 to repair the bumper of course at a renogiation. They failed to mention a $200 USED purchase coupon offer we found out they were running on their website after I got home with the vehicle.Buyer beware.

I did not have a list of dealer cost pricing, but was using the MFGR window sticker as my base reference. I was given a price lower than the window sticker price and also offer the manufacturers incentive of $1000 off even through it was not clear that a manufacturers incentive was in affect at the time of delivery. I received the vehicle with only the extra that I wanted. My wife and I were very satified with the whole nogotiation process. Extra features were not force on us and we walked away feeling very satified with the way the sales person ( Joni) handled herself. She took her time and was very through with the determining the extras that we wanted. After the vehicle was ordered,She kept us informed as to the expected delivery date.

He was warm & Friendly, extremely informtive, extremely detailed as to Avalon'e attributes, reassuring, calming (I am 80 years old) explained every button on dashboard and seats, Not lazy but extremely patient even though it was past closing hours. Made it very easy for us to drive the car out. All papers were explained thoroughly before being handed to us and even supplied MVB paste attachments to replace my Easypass from my Acura on to new windshield.We had been to Huntington first andlooked at the Avalon in Showroom. Never got to speak to a salesman. In Westbury, we actually drove the car. My feeling, while enjoying the drive, the salesman appeared to feel as if the car would sell itself. Made no attempt to show how varous buttons worked-simply described his answers rather than demonstrate one or two of them.Not so with Robert. He spent a couple of hours with us before we left the showroom.Our last car was an Acura TL. I will never understand why we went off Toyota after owing my prior 2 cars each being a Toyota Cressida. My last Cressida came from Penn Toyota.When my lease is up after 3 years, I will certainly return to Robert Piraino.

So often we grouse about the transactions we conduct during our lives I thought I would take the time to write a positive piece about our favorite process the purchase of an automobile. Ive purchased or leased over 10 vehicles in my 50 years of driving ranging from Luxury vehicles, SUVs, trucks, sports cars, to economy models. I can say unequivocally that most of those transactions were mildly unpleasant at best and downright intimidating at worst, until I worked with the staff at Penn Toyota in Greenvale, NY. From the moment I placed a request a quote at the Toyota.com web site to picking up the vehicle on Saturday October 30 (not a great day to take delivery of a new vehicle) ever step was handled with professionalism. Less than an hour from the time I requested the quote I was contacted by Mr. Tom Montelli Manager of the Business Development Center (BDC). Tom took me through several scenarios of financing possibilities, option package combinations that gave me more bang for my bucks, and answered any and all questions that I had. He then checked Penns and other Toyota dealers in the area unlit he found the exact vehicle that I desired. No settling for a different color or substitute option packages that cost just a little more the exact vehicle. At that juncture Tom informed me that Joni Glantz, one of the senior sales people, would contact me as soon as the vehicle was available for delivery. Two days later Joni called me to set up a delivery time and date. She went over all the items that I would need to bring when I picked up the vehicle. Confirmed the amount of the down payment I needed to bring. Set up a plate transfer with my insurance company in a conference call. In an hour she confirmed that she had new insurance cards valid for the pick-up date and asked how many folks were coming with me so she had the correct number of chairs available. When I arrived at noon Joni was waiting. She briefly showed me my vehicle color, interior materials and option packages on board. She then escorted me to her business manager Morris Sutton to review and execute all the paperwork. Again the process was completely professional. Morris reviewed additional options items I might wish to purchase, but there was no pressure to accept any of the offers. Each Document was briefly explained and signed. Morris answered any questions I had and the process was completed in less than 20 minutes,(in my experience that is a speed record).Joni then took me to my vehicle and went over every function and option on the vehicle until I was confident that I could operate every knob and switch in the vehicle with confidence. I was then introduced to Lori and Joni went back to the showroom. Lori explained the new Toyotacare product which is free for 2 years. She then conducted a brief interview to insure that my delivery experience was up to Penns standards. Joni then took me back to my new vehicle and we parted company (in the snow). The entire process took a about an hour. Funny that as I was finishing this Joni called me to see if I was enjoying my new vehicle and asked if she could do anything for me. If all dealers operated as Penn Toyota does even in the middle of a complete renovation and in a snow storm the automobile industry might get the respect they have long desired.

This is our second time purchasing a new vehicle at Penn Toyota. Robert Piraino and Tommy Kim truly made the difficult experience of purchasing a vehicle a piece of cake. We were treated very kindly, and both Robert and Tommy answered all our questions and concerns, and both seemed quite knowledgable, and proud, to stand behind a Toyota product. They were on top of everything. At the time of delivery, they both reviewed the vehicle with us. It was done at the end of a busy day on a Saturday and we never felt rushed. We are Toyota fans, and always have two parked in our driveway at all times. We have returned to this dealership a second because of our excellent experience from the first time. Penn Toyota is a Class A, top notch operation and, as a consumer, I really appreciate who they are. As you can see, I would not hesitate to purchase again from them and would recommend them highly in every regard.

I am very happy with my 2012 Camry SE, and this was enhanced by my experiences buying it. I thought I knew the car I wanted, and Robert Piraino was able to take the only Camry SE they had in stock with a 4 cylinder off the showroom floor so I could test drive it and confirm my choice. He took time to go over options which I said that I probably would not want, but wanted to check out anyway, which was important to me: I was making choices on what I would be driving for many years, and that was respected. Robert was professional, knowledgeable, understanding and friendly, which are very important qualities when an expensive purchase is being considered. Our price negotiations were honest and forthright, and I was satisfied with the cost. The model car with the color and options I wanted, which I thought might be hard to get and I'd probably wait a few weeks for, was available sooner than I had thought possible: in the next delivery, the next day! I half joked that I might hitch-hike to pick-up the car since I doubted any neighbors would be around, and Robert immediately offered to pick me up at my home (and meant it, but a neighbor did drive me). I thought I would just pay, finish paperwork and take the keys, but Robert took a bit more than an hour to inspect the car with me to make sure everything was in order, give me a "class" in how to operate and understand the audio functions / controls and vehicle information systems, and even introduced my cell phone to my car via BlueTooth, transferring all my contacts. This very much impressed me, not only Roberts' knowledge of the systems but that Penn Toyota insisted on this procedure with every customer. There are many new features on new cars that a buyer might not be familiar with: learning them yourself first-hand while driving could be a real distraction. Taking time to make me aware of all of them and their operation, making sure all the various manuals were there and showing them to me, was much appreciated.When I got home I found that my telephone contacts had been deleted from the BlueTooth system, and I was not able to transfer them from my cell. I called Robert, went right back to the dealer, and he and another salesman worked on it for a half hour before finding that the source of the problem was my cell phone. They then corrected it for me and re-installed my cell phone and contact information.I don't think I could have asked for a better overall experience with buying a car, and I brought Robert a bottle of French wine to show my appreciation!

I had a very good experience buying a new Prius at Penn Toyota in Greenvale. My salesman, Mark Stechel, was very low-key and did not pressure me at all. I came in ready to buy a car, so pressure was not necessary, and the Prius pretty much sells itself. But even under those circumstances I have previously dealt with salesmen who make your skin crawl. Mark was pleasant and I looked forward to returning to the showroom.I only went to the showroom three times. The first visit I had a nice long test drive around a residential neighborhood. I zoomed up a few hills to check the acceleration. I pulled over to the curb to play with all the buttons. I really tested it. Mark gave me a price and I left to compare to the Ford Fusion and Honda Civic. The online reviews of those two cars were so inferior to the Prius that I didn't even test drive them.I returned to Penn Toyota that same week and Mark wrote up the sales slip. I said I would take the silver Prius that was on the lot just to get the car faster. The write up had no extra fees!! No delivery, dealer prep, or any of that nonsence. Just the price we had agreed on minus my coupon, sales tax, and NY State registration for the new plates.On my way home I got buyer's remorse because I really wanted the blue Prius even if I had to wait a little. I called Mark from home. "No problem." He got me the blue Prius from another dealership, and I still got the car within a few days. I couldn't come in to pick up the car at Mark's convenience because of family obligations, so Mark came in on his day off to go over the car with me and sign the paperwork.I also thought the web site was very clever. I'm a web designer, so I thought the way they lured you into signing up for a test drive online in order to get a coupon was pretty smart. I signed up, and Penn honored the coupon even though no one in the showroom had seen it before. I went from browsing on the iternet to owning a Prius in a week.Thanks Mark! I can't wait to take my new baby out for some nice long drives!

I came in looking for a new Rav4 and after some negotiating and time spent to find the model we desired (since it wasn't on the lot - it was nearby in NJ) I reached an agreement on Monday and signed all the paperwork and put down a $2,000 deposit to secure the car. I was told to expect to receive car in 24-48 hours to set up a delivery date and to let me know the outcome of my credit application. By Wednesday, I heard nothing. I called my salesman Andy on Thursday but he did not return my call. I called Andy again on Friday and still heard nothing. Finally, Ray called me Friday afternoon telling me my car wasn't available and that it was sold. I asked how that was possible since I already put down my deposit and he couldn't give me a straight answer. I asked if it was really sold, how come I wasn't told on Tuesday or Wednesday? Again no straight answer. He then tried to upsell me into a V6 model or another model that was more money since he apparently couldn't honor my price anymore. I told them to refund my money as I did not want to buy from a dishonest dealership that uses shady selling techniques. In the end, I got the same car at the same price from Huntington Toyota and had a MUCH better experience. In this case, I think they simply did not want to sell me the car because they refused to substitute the same exact model as it was now more money which is a load of crap. They didn't want to honor the price we agreed to and gave this lame (and untrue) excuse that it was sold.I cannot stress enough to avoid this dealership. Even though they are my closest Toyota dealer I will not get my new Toyota serviced here. Please go elsewhere and experience an honorable dealership.

He is the greatest. He knows how to take care of his customers. Laurie who is part of the team in the service dept is also an asset to the dept she is always willing to help everyone and you always see her and Jimmy running around making sure everyone is taken care of. My husband and I came in for an oil change on our 2005 Scion Xb, but were advised that the belts were very worn, needed to be replaced and that it would take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. As we had not eaten lunch we inquired as to where we could get something to ear. Not only were we informed of several restaurants in the area, but we were driven to the nearby restaurant of our choice. After lunch, as it was a nice day, we walked the several blocks back to the dealership and were met with "why didn't you call for a return ride?". We thanked the staff and explained that we enjoyed the walk. Our car was ready when we returned and we paid the bill and left. Everyone in the service department was friendly and knowledgeable and even went out of their way for us.

It would be "PHENOMINAL".That would be the only way to describe everyone of my experiences at Penn Toyota. This is the 5th or 6th vehicle we have obtained from Penn Toyota within the past 7 years. The staff is simply incredible to say the least. What is normally a very stressful type of purchase due to the barracuda like staff's I have dealt with in the past at other dealerships in the surrounding areas, is now one my family looks forward to making. Speaking from a parents perspective as well, my 3 and 6 year old can do no wrong when they are at Penn looking at cars with myself and my wife. They can do PLENTY WRONG but everyone at the dealership makes lite of it which keeps us (mom and dad) relaxed and allows us to listen so we make the right decision. My kids act like we just told them they are going to Disney when we tell them we are going to the car store again. Every car we buy means we made at least 3 or 4 trips to the dealership. We make no quick decisions when buyng a car and everytime we enter the doors at Penn, we are always greeted with the same friendly smiles we have now become accustomed to seeing. So thanks again, Robert, Chris, Ray and James C. . I could not recommend Penn Toyota enough. Just PHENOMINAL !!!

Robert suggested we test drive the Corolla Sport which is the car we selected. Robert spent a extended period of time with us and never gave us the feeling he was in a hurry to close the deal.

Being that it was my first time purchasing a used car, I was petrified with how my experience would be in a car dealership. However all that changed when I stepped into Penn Toyota.I cannot emphasize how GREAT their staff is. Especially their sales person Tommy Kim (totally awesome!) He is extremely patient, very knowledgeable, caring and honest. He didn't try to pressure me to buy like how some other dealers would. Ryan Fernandez was a pleasure to deal with, very helpful and low key which I value, price was OK and when I came across a sharper price they acccommodated me. I had visited two other dealers in the area, neither one had inventory of the LE model and they were from the "take it or leave it'" school with virtually no give on price, and I wasn't being a pig with either of the other dealers. Penn came across as wanting to do business, and they had cars in stock. Excellent experience overall.

Okay, I bought what was supposed to be a certified pre-owned Toyota Camry. We agreed on a price, and then they tried to sneak in some extra service fee for $75, which they notified me about after we had signed all the paperwork and were waiting at the dealership for hours, and were too tired to argue. I refused to pay it. Two months later, I took it in b/c the tire light was on, and the tire sensor had to be replaced. However, they also found that the sold me the car and the recall work hadn't been done on the car. Aside from this being an illegal sale due to the lack of recall work, they let me drive off with my 4 month old baby in the back seat - which is just awful. I tried contacting the dealership 5 or 6 times to address the situation, and they never called me back.Now, we are in June, I took the car in b/c other dashboard lights started flashing. And of course, I find out that the brake pads need to be replaced (after just 6,000 miles of driving) - which cost me $600. The brake pads are required to have less than 50% wear per the 160 point inspection.Given all these issues, the bottom line is that it is clear to me they did not do the 160 point inspection on this car, and I continue to pay for it. I traded in a 2005 Toyota and didn't have to put a dime into it - this has been a really frustrating experience.UPDATESince the original posting, Penn Toyota contacted me and worked with me over the last several weeks to successfully resolve the situation. I know feel confident that the vehicle is safe, and that I got a fair deal. Penn Toyota is clearly committed to customer service, and my experience was surely a rare exception.

Joni has given us prompt attention from test drive to finalizing the sale. She is curteous and straight to the point and very efficient in all the paper work such us getting our insurance transferred to the new car. She even changed the license plate for us. She explained all the functions in the car and showed me where the spare tire is. She never said "check out the manual if you don't understand" but she said "please call me anytime if you need help with the car". The customer service of Penn Toyota is excellent. Everybody there is friendly and helpful. The manager is great too. My husband and I are so happy because everything went on so smoothlyfrom start to finish and Penn Toyota has the best price.

My experience at Penn was top notch. I didn't realize how terrible my previous experience and another dealership was until I bought a car at Penn. I was not looking forward to buying a new car because my last car salesman was so awful. I have to say that David was never pushy, very professional, and seemed so eager to get me into the car that I wanted. He gave me a great price on my trade in and went above and beyond what I would consider to be "customer service" by giving me free door and wheel safety trim while my car was being fitted for door moldings (an after market add on). He felt bad that I had to wait a few extra minutes at their lovely service lounge so he had all that extra trim added as a surprise. I have to say, it really made my day. I came to Penn looking to purchase a preowned certified car. I was also looking to change from a sedan to a larger suv. I was greeted with a friendly smile and explained what I was looking for, my price range, and my concerns for changing from driving a small sedan to a larger vehicle. I am currently in graduate school so price was very important. From start to finish I felt that I was given accurate info with great prices that never changed from their quotes. Being a woman shopping for a car can be a real hassle, but at Penn I was treated fairly and did not feel like I was getting taken advantage of. Christopher Penn helped make our lease payment more affordable with incentives and also made the return of my prior leased Toyota convenient. This dealership is very profesionally run and the service department has always accomodated my family's hectic schedule and given us terrific service. Penn Toyota was the last stop of many in my search for a 2011 Hylander. I was greeted by salesman Robert Piriano. From the beginning I felt very comfortable. Robert was to the point, knowledgeable and truthful (Emphasis on the last word). He gained my confidence right away. There was no high pressure sales talk. He told me there would be no hidden charges. Several days later I was at the dealer to make the deal. I also have to mention the Business Manager, Daniel Bronzino, another pleasant and truthful employee. The next day my new Hilander was prepped and I took Delivery. Robert and Daniel made this a very pleasurable experience (something I can't say about other dealings with car dealers and salesmen). Everything I was told was the truth. Everything I was promised I received. I am sure that Penn Toyota sets the tone for its staff which is commendable. These two employees are exceptional and I would recommend this Dealership to anyone looking to buy a Toyota. I hope Toyota is appreciative of this Dealership and the way it represents its product.

I'm in the third year of a Camry lease from Penn Toyota. I choose this dealership because the salesman (Robert Piraino) gave me the best lease price I could find and dealt with my honestly. He quoted me one price and actually lived up to it.I have serviced the car with Penn and I am very happy with their work and their customer service. Recently, on a Friday afternoon, my trunk lock broke while I was in CT - I pulled into a Toyota dealer in Greenwhich and even though it was under warranty they were able to do nothing for me, I drove to Long Island and Jimmy the service manager figured out a way to fix the trunk lock - saved me from having to put the car in a garage all weekend- and got me back on the road late Friday afternoon. That's what a dealership should do for their customers and Penn did it for me. That's great!I've recommended them to a number of my friends and family and will probably lease another car from them this year.It's nice to deal with a reputable dealer. After visiting many different dealers (even other toyota dealers), this was a very pleasant experience. Joni did not pressure and was informed on the vehicle and comparable models, if not, she quickly found out an answer. We actually didn't buy initially, told her we were interested in test driving others, I only received one or two phone calls from her over a week, unlike others where there were 5 messages from one day on my machine. However, after dealing with a myriad of odd and annoying or unattentive salespeople, we returned. Manny gave us the ideal trade in price, Dave in finance was quick and to the point, not pushing and 'extras' on us we didnt want. Other salespeople, one of them Dominic were friendly and genuine. They seem to understand it's a business and there's no reason for a 'show' yet are professional and friendly, as consumers, we appreciate that. I would def. return to purchase another car as well as recommend to others.

Their salesmen were not pushy and were patient with the multitude of questions I fired at them. They really appeared to pride themselves on working hard to make sure you are completely satisfied. I had done price research beforehand, and the ultimate price I paid was very fair, made more so by the exemplary customer service offered here. Moreover, when I asked my salesman about several car models and options packages that I was choosing between, my salesman did not automatically suggest the most expensive model or package. Instead, he wanted to understand my concerns and what I wanted the car/package for before making a recommendation, which made me trust his recommendation that much more. Highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a first car or a 20th car.

All my questions were answered (and I had many) I didnt feel like I was being pushed and the process was expedited in 1 week , My goal was to get a more economical car , being a single mom with no one to really guide me in the process I felt very well taken care of. I would recommend that anyone buying a Toyota use this dealership , The dealership is well kept ,visitor friendly , and centrally located on Long Island . Greenvale.Robert Piraino in sales was very well spoken , and Dan Bronzino in finance was a master at getting me a very fair and decent finance price on my vehicle even after I told him my credit obstacles , Most dealers turned me away immediately . He was very humane !!So run to PENN , Ive had a Ford windstar , Mazda RX7, Subaru Legacy , and Ill NEVER leave TOYOTA after this great experience. Love my Rav4 and Corolla !!!

Words cant describe how great Penn Toyota is...Robert was a straight up guy from the Getgo I went to other dealerships across Long Island and I hafta say this place treats you like a person instead of a Dollar Sign...Robert greeted me like a friend and had lots of knowledge on the 2011 Camry...Robert didnt pressure me to buy the Camry right away I was going back and forth for a month...he encouraged me to take my time and to discuss this with my Fiance'...I also got a long Test ride...he wanted me to experience what the Camry has to Offer...finally after a month i Purchased the 2011 Toyota Camry...also RObert did little things as well He encouraged me to bring my mom in to see if she can get in and out of the Car...My mom loved the room in the car...Also My Mom is Diabectic...Robert was given a pack of Cookies from one of his co-workers...he hasnt eaten in 5 hours and when he found out my mom was a diabetic he gave his cookies to my mom for eat...I dont think any other dealer/sales person would do that...he really took his time (was there 2 1/2 hours on columbus day)...I was with Dan Monday niught and once again treated me like a Person and not a Dollar Sign..although there was a lot of papers to sign he made me comfortable and talked other things besides Camry's (Sports, Wedding Halls etc)...I also hafta mention a Person Named Tom whioh i called today to ask a Question...even though Rob was off today he took his time to ask my question in a frienly way and was not aggitated. Anyway The Camry is a Great Car.. I Owned a 1994 Toyota Camry for close to 17 years and i tell you i was sad to see that Car go Even Robert was Impressed i had the car that long and the Body of the car was in very awesome shape. I am hoping that the 2011 Camry will last me to 2030...if you goto Pennn Toyota go see Rob mention the Buckeyes he actually took his own Toyota (Scion) to Cincinati Ohio thats a good sales pitch...

Came in to buy a 2011 camry LE. After negotiating a price I've decided to compare it to other dealers' prices. Star Toyota of bayside couldnt match it so i went back to Penn. I was amazed to learn that value of my trade-in went down by $500 because I left and came back. Never again will i go back to Penn Toyota

I would highly recommend Penn Toyota and Rob Piraino, in particular. Rob was very knowledgeable and helpful. The whole sales experience was easy and not pressured. Rob thoroughly knew his product - I leased a Highlander. I was unsure whether to buy or lease, but Rob laid out all the options and explained the pros and cons of each. The exact car I wanted was not in stock, but Rob found it for me and I couldn't be happier. I think I got a fair price and the car even had a couple of extras which I did not expect. Rob patiently explained to me how to work all the gadgets and electronics and even set up some options for me to get me started. This is the second car we have leased from Rob and I would certainly recommend him to friends.

David Salkin was calm and very low key, he was extremely helpful as he listened well and knew his product. I asked him not to call and He DID as I asked. I'm in retail and I would never play one dealer against another not my style because (I hate when its done to me). I asked him to give me his best price, he did, and they won out over 4 other dealers. I came in we did some further negotiations and we wrote the deal that same day. Ray the sales manager at Penn Toyota, was also instrumental in soothing my nerves as I had visited no less than 3 other toyota dealer that same day I was told many things that were in fact just come ones or bate and switch routines. Ray and David KEPT THEIR WORD! I would highly recommend David Salkin as a wonderful calm low key excellent salesman and Ray as a hands on manager. Ray keep up the good work you have a great facility. Remember consistency is the key to staying on top, so, I expect to be treated the same way on my every visit to Penn toyota. Thanks H.

Both Robert and Ray, the manager, were extremely helpful in answering our questions, and making us feel satisfied with our purchase. Ray was able to get me the hard-to-find color I wanted in a short amount of time. Average 2 hour wait time for oil change. Service department was not busy.Simply put its not worth your time even if its free.They simply do an oil change, the multi-point inspection a joke. The mechanics just check off a piece of paper on the side not even near your car. To sum it up, just a bunch of clowns....oil change for 2 hour while you wait...Never again on their service department...never again on Toyota

We first met Dave in September 2009, we where interested in leasing a car. He was very knowledgeable and was not your typical car sales men. I felt no obligation to make a decision that day. I had the most positive car shopping experience with Rob at Penn Toyota in Greenvale. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, respectful, honest and friendly. I am female and I find that some of the male sales people can be condescending at times.Rob also exceeded my expectations. My husband was not available to see the car because he works all the time and he offered to drive the car to his place of business (which was very close) so he could see the car. Awesome, right!!!Rob asked all the right questions in terms of what my needs were. And after shopping at approximately 12 or more other car dealerships I would say that he was the only sales person that I had been too that was able to answer everyone of my questions in regard to the cars I was shopping. He really knows his product. I was shopping the rav4 and The Venza and decided to consider purchasing the Venza. They were easy to work with. David was very friendly and took the time to show me several cars on the lot. I originally was looking to buy a used car. He worked with me to find the best deal on a new car.My last car was a Honda and looked at the CR-V because it seemed like the same exact car. Not only was the Rav-4 cheaper but i love the car. Sold me a truck with passed inspection, but no horn, (I found out on the road home), no spare. I had asked earlier when I inspected the truck, told me the spare would be on. I also asked to have trim fixed, they didn't do it.Took down my phone numbers wrong. They mixed up my cell and home number and said they tried to call me when they didn't have truck there when I drove over an hour to see it. (At first they told me they did) Who can't take down a phone number correctly? How could a business do that? I think they were leading me on in retrospect. BUYER BEWARE!!! I would not buy a used vehicle there, Truck had less than 11k on it, sold it to me like new but it had issues that didn't appear at slow speeds, but did at highway speeds. After I brought it back the next day and told them I'm returning it they of course told me they would right all wrongs. I told them it's too late. They should have done it right the first time.They were pretty good about taking it back, while we waited for paperwork to appear the used car manager told us he had already sold it to another dealer wholesale.

I had just come off a bad experience at a nearby Honda dealership when I went to Penn Toyota in search of a used Scion XA. I ended up leaving with a new 2010 Scion XD. I was leery of the dealership, I honestly am not very trusting of car salesmen, no offense to any of you, it's just a cutthroat business in many ways. Robert, however; seemed like a genuine nice guy. He was very busy, and I didn't always get his full attention, which i totally understand and felt was a very tiny bump in the road (not to mention evidence that he was a stand-up guy). He offered me a price that was more than fair, he added no hidden fees. What I was quoted was what I got. I was in a rush to get a car, and I wanted a manual. He hunted one down for me and I had one within the time frame he promised. Not that I got it the next day, but he was upfront that it would take a few days, I respected and appreciated his honesty. I had been to another Toyota dealerships where they did not have a vehicle in stock, and none had even offered to find me one. Obviously Rob was going above and beyond the normal call of duty. As I said, he seemed really busy, he probably didn't need the extra sale and could have easily blown me off like the other Toyota dealership I went to had. Instead he worked to get me what I needed. I wish I would have seen this website prior to my car hunting experience. I would have seen how badly rated the Honda dealership was and how highly rated Penn was. Would have saved myself some time and aggravation.

Our lease with the Jeep was expiring and we were looking for another car. In the past we had owned a Toyota Camry. So when we saw an advertisement on TV, we decided just to look. We were so impressed with Joni Glantz that we walked out purchasing our Rav 4. Joni is an exceptional saleswoman. When I first arrived at Pen Toyota I asked for Michael as I had spoken with him on the phone a few days before. As he was with another customer, Tim Mooney was asked to work with me. I was a little leary as I had spoken with Michael about the lease of a new car. It was not long after speaking with Tim that I felt much better. Tim was very friendly and aimed to please. We went two times out onto the lot to look at the Corollas'. Tim and I discussed the colors as it was important to me. My wife and I purchased a 2010 Prius earlier this year from Penn Toyota. Jay was great to work with - Very helpful, friendly and accommodating! Because of this experience, we returned this past week to lease a Highlander. Ray and Ramon helped us this time. They were both outstanding too! We visited the dealer MANY times but they never acted annoyed or impatient with us-actually they remained pleasant, informative and helpful every time we came by. My wife and I have noticed a dramatic change in this dealership. We've been Toyota customers for 30 years - not always at this dealership (and in the past few years we did not own a Toyota). These 3 fellows greatly improved our experience at this dealer with their professionalism and courtesy (without the arm twisting that we heretofore experienced). I've been driving a 2008 Prius for the past two years and I received an incentive from Penn Toyota to trade in my car early, an incentive I was only too happy to accept as I wanted the new 2010 Prius with all the bells and whistles. Ramon, my sales representative, was helpful and respectful, and everything was explained to me clearly and, in no time, the new car was ordered and I am now the proud owner of a really "green" car. I picked up the car this afternoon and everything was as promised with paperwork clearly delineated and just my signature to conclude the transfer. When we were in the market for a small second car, we were initially considering several car manufacturers other than Toyota. From the minute we walked into Penn Toyota in September, Robert Piraino, the sales associate, was a great help. He explained the option packages in detail for the Rav 4 and allowed us to test drive the 4 cylinder model. He then explained which cars were available for immediate delivery. My wife and I were never high pressured, as was our experience with other dealerships. His was a totally low key sell. We walked out of the dealer with the new car and actually enjoyed a positive experience thanks to Rob. I would definitely buy another car from him and Penn Toyota.

I did my homework, consumers reports, internet (Edmunds.com) and visited 3 dealers, checked buying services AAA and BJ's, also checked this site (dealerrater). Found what I believe was going to be the best price, and negotiated with Penn Toyota to match the best price I had at another dealership. With the extended warranty, Penn Toyota agreed to a price I was satisfied with, after finding a source on line to buy a factory warranty at Action Toyota (Google: Action Toyota Extended Warranty). We bough a 2010 Prius from Penn Toyota. The price wasn't good but it's only one that has the color we wanted.Our sales person was Tommy Kim. We feel that we could trust Mr Kim and felt very comfortable dealing with him.The car was delivered as promise. The only procedure we didn't like was the manager pressuring us to buy the extended warranty being the Prius is a hybrid with all that electronics we gave in & bough an 8yr extended warranty. I guess all auto dealers are doing this to add to their bottom line.The dealer's showroom and repair shop are very clean and they offer first oil change with tire rotation for only $19.99 also buy 3 oil change & get 1 for free.

Before purchasing my new Prius from Mr. Piraino at Penn Toyota, I had the opportunity to visit two dealerships in Queens. Those Queens dealers did not impress me; particularly with their level of professionalism. Although Penn Toyota is about 1/2 hour from my home, I felt the extra time and distance that was needed to travel to and purchase from Penn Toyota, and in partiular, Mr. Piraino was worth it. Mr. Piraino is professional, customer sensitive and thorough in his approach to his job. He spent a substantial amount of time acquainting my wife and I with all the characteristics of the Prius. He saved us hours of reading and the anxiety of learning how to use the various advanced technology features.My dealings with the Finance Manager, Daniel Bronzino, was equally positive. Mr. Bronzino was helpful in pointing out different options that would be of value to us without aggressively pushing us into any of the items. The final step in completing the transaction was the introduction to Ms. Laurie Guigliano, Customer Relations Manager, who took the time to acquaint us with the Service Department and their services. She also made available a coupon for a reduced price on our first Service visit, an extra plus.All in all, our dealings with Penn Toyota was a pleasant buying experience;an honest and professional organization.

Purchased my RAV4 during the turmoil of Cash for Clunkers - Tommy Kim kept the deal together, as well as my sanity. Over the years my husband and I have purchased and/or leased several new vehicles; my experience at Penn Toyota was the best by far. My experience began when I was greeted by Mark Stechel, the salesperson upon entering the showroom. I was interested in a RAV4; Mark was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with Mark; I never felt intimidated or pressured by him; as we have been at other dealerships. Initially, the vehicle with the equipment package and color I selected was not in stock, but Mark was quickly able to locate the vehicle of my choice. As for the price and the delivery of the vehicle, both were on point and on time. When I picked up my vehicle there were no hidden fees or expenses that were not discussed during the sales/negotiations process; that's a first for me. Upon delivery of my RAV 4, Mark clearly went over all of the vehicles features and equipment. Mark was very patient and continued to answer "ALL" my questions post delivery. I can't say enough about Mark Stechel, he is a true professional; I highly recommend him and Penn Toyota.I also need to mention Business Manager, Daniel Bronzino; he too was very helpful, polite and honest. Daniel helped me obtain additional options. Upon delivery of the vehicle Daniel clearly went over all the related documents.As for the vehicle itself, all I can say is I love it. Although Eric is new to this game, he was a professional throughout the sales process. I signed the contract for my lease almost 6 weeks before I actually got the car. The only reason I did not purchase elsewhere (and I did look) was that Eric was forthcoming with the cars delivery issues. His combination of customer service and disarming honesty enabled me to wait out the cars arrival. I would shop here again without question. This is the third Toyota I have bought from this dealership, and by far, the best shopping experience- despite the fact I had some 'issues' with my latest purchase.David is a consummate professional. No hard sell, just the facts about what he had available. No games, no bs. Buying the car was a piece of cake. The real testament is how helpful he was AFTER the sale- making sure my vehicle had the alarm disabled (at my request) and everything the was it was the day of the sale. Personally, I wouldn't buy any other car other than a Toyota, and certainly I hope David Salkin is there when I go to buy Toyota #4. Penn Toyota is not the closest dealership to where I live- but it was so worth the trip. It should be stated that additionally the receptionists and services staff were all very professional and courteous as well.

I have purchased from this dealer before, an advertised Highlander, was in stock and concluded deal. My trade in was excellent and I received top dollar.Eric is very knowledgeable about Toyota autos and the competition, knew how other dealers pre-print what I call bogus charges, e.g "double billing consumer for transportation, plus administrative fees. What I like about Eric is his willingness to understand what the customer wants and works in that direction.After concluding the deal to purchase a new Camry LE 2010 on 10/10/2009, it was promised for delivery on 10/11/2009 at 12:30. When I went to the dealer the business manager was ready to finalize the insurance, papers etc. While Eric obtained the car. I was in a hurry to get to my son's basketball games and Eric worked to ensure that I was out in time. The quality of customer service is why Penn earned high marks from me.I would recommend this dealer, since they do not low ball you on price and then make up the differences by adding in bogus fees.

Andy was my salesperson and was extremely receptive to allowing me to "hold the deal" until I could get my daughter to test drive this car (it was going to be driven by her). Jay saw to the car being delivered in perfect condition - I am a pretty particular person and he did not attempt to get me to sign any papers until I was completely satisfied. Ray was just a friendly guy who happened to answer many of my phone calls. James delivered the car and went over, in great detail, all of the features of the car. Outstanding service and customer relations. They treat you with cordiality and respect. I was able to test drive the vechile and was given extensive explanation of all features. I recommended a friend and expect one more to follow suit. Fair and friendly experience. Try them.

Have been buying cars for the last 60 years and this is the only dealership that took a personal interest in my problem. They went as far as having the tech and the Toyota representative explain to me the reasons for my concerns. They went out of their way to make sure we understood whey we were experiencing what we thought was a problem.

They were very considerate and did their best to get the price i wanted. As soon as i walked through the door they were friendly and willing to help me. The price was a bit higher than i would have liked to be, but they did try their best to work with me. The dealer was very nice and bot pushy.

Penn was the 4th Toyota dealer we visited to buy a new 2010 Sienna and the last one we needed to visit. They got us 2010 Sienna with all of the features we wanted and more for the price we wanted to pay. They gave us a great price, one that was lower than the other 3 Toyota dealers we visited, and one that we did not even have to haggle for. The people we dealt with were knowledgeable, honest, direct, and pleasant. We made a deal with another dealer for a 2010 Sienna (with a down payment); however, over 3 weeks passed and they claimed they could not locate a car. That's when we went to Penn, they too did not have the 2010 Sienna that we wanted in stock; however, they got one for us with 5 days! We cannot sing their praises enough, we will always recommend friends and family to visit Penn and we are sure our next car will come form them too!

This is the absolute WORST DEALERSHIP I have ever bought a car from in my life. They are completely incompetent and they are total liars. It is disgraceful the way they treat their customers. If I didn't love the car I bought (which had a million issues with it that they didn't even check before they sold it to us including the DVD player not working, the radio not working correctly) we would have returned the car immediately. I have never written to complain about a company ever before in my life but I beg you to stay away from them. They are the WORST. Please learn from our mistakes. Go to any other dealership. These people have no heart or clue.

PENN TOYOTA TESTIMONIALI just picked up the 7th car that I have purchased over the past 20 years from Penn Toyota, a 2010 Camry XLE. I keep coming back to Penn Toyota because:1)The Toyota car is great, in its drive, physicality and reliability.2)The price is always fair - this has been determined via comparison shopping and various websites that indicate the reasonable purchase price for an auto.3)The Sales Staff is always knowledgeable, professional and courteous.4)The showroom is clean and presentableHaving purchased so many Toyotas before, I knew exactly what I wanted. As it turned out, the model I wanted now came with several additional major features -- leather seats and sun roof, which I was not interested in and did not want to pay for. Penn Toyota priced the car as I wanted it and intended to try to find it at an out of state dealership and if that didnt work, have a car built to my specifications - it would take about a month. How can a dealership be more accommodating! Unfortunately, the car I wanted was not available elsewhere and I decided not to wait for the car to be manufactured. I renegotiated the price in five minutes over the phone and picked up the car three days later never was there a hard sell the staff listened to my needs/desires and worked with me. As is human, there was one minor misstep, but Penn Toyota immediately owned up to it, apologized, and worked conscientiously to remedy the issue.When I came to pick up the car, the salesman took ALL the time in the world (and the dealership was inordinately busy at the time) to carefully walk me through the entire car, explaining how everything worked and detailing each new feature. The final paper work for the actual purchase was clear, concise and organized. I left Penn Toyota with my new car, comfortable that I had made all the right decisions and that I had a friend in this Dealership.The entire sales staff, right up to the President, Bob Penn and his son, Chris Penn (the Sales Manager), work together as a team to assure the best possible experience. When I was speaking with someone in the showroom about how satisfied I always am with this Organization, another client overheard the conversation, and interrupted to say he lives in Brooklyn, but he, too, always comes out to Penn Toyota in Greenvale LI to buy his Toyotas - that is as good a testimonial as one can get - surely Brooklyn has ample Toyota dealers.

Stay away from this dealership! After 2 hours of negotiating, the manager, Frank, accepted my offer for monthly payments & out of pocket expenses, if my credit checked out. All of this information was written on the form they fill out when you initially walk in. After several reassurances that they would stick with the 2 figures written on the form, I signed it, giving them approval to check my credit. Frank came back to me and said my credit was great--in fact it was over 800. However, he changed the 2 figures, adding $30 to the monthly payment and $400 to the out of pocket expenses. I was obviously confused, and relayed my confusion to both Frank & the salesperson. I stated that I only gave them access to my financial information based on the deal we negotiated. The manager stated that he could give me the lower amount on the monthly payments OR the out of pocket expenses, but not on both. I asked why I was not told that before--in fact what I was told was that my credit score would affect the deal and no other factor. When I relayed this to Frank, his words verbatim were, "did we say "we promise" you these numbers?" I said, "no, however, I was told the credit check was being done because our "aim" was to get me those negotiated amounts." Frank stated, "we choose our words wisely, we never said "we promise." As a teacher I run some business ethics units in my courses. I told Frank that my experience at Penn would make a great story when I teach my ethics unit. He asked me to discuss that for a moment and explain how he was unethical. I told him that I signed approval for a credit check under the words of the salesman when he said, "these are the numbers we are aiming at..." Frank then reiterated that they did say the word "promise" and that I should rethink the way I teach my courses. I simply suggested that he go back to school and learn some ethics himself and walked out.If you choose to go to this dealership even after reading this...be careful...they certainly do "choose their words wisely."PS....I did ask if I could take the form with my personal information on it with me and was told no.....that is the form that had the negotiated prices on it as well. I did however cross out my social security # & signature. Please make sure you do the same!

Penn Toyota made a mistake by submitting our brand new Toyota car loan request to Chase instead of Toyota finance, as discussed before the purchase. Penn Toyota admitted the mistake but were not able to correct it (too late). Bottom line, after months of misleading and half answers (if and when we were able to get to talk to someone which is not busy) we are paying 4% more than was promised. No apology, no one to handle this problem, basically their attitude is: sign here and disappear.

Last month I purchased a used - 2004 Avalon from this dealer and the experience turned out to be horrible. The Manager Frank was very very rude from the moment we entered their showrroom. However, the price was good and that was the only reason we continued with them. They were in a way forcing us to take the car the same day we made the deal. When we said that we are financing with someone else, the manager said that the next day car is going for auction. And when we agreed to finance with them, they said that we can take the car on the following day. The worst part was when we took the car the next day. We had only driven two miles,when the AIR BAG LIGHTS started flashing and when we took it to them, they did not even respond properly. They did show no remorse or concern. They asked us to leave the car and come and take it when it is ready. We travelled from East Windsor, NJ to Long Island NY just to take the car. What we expected was atleast they could take some steps linke calling any of the dealers in our area. They didn't help us in anyway. On top of it, the customer service representative (I don't remember her name) was making harsh statements. Then we had to leave and we waited for one full week, with all the payment made, just to get the car. The most ridiculous thing was that the manager said that as a compensation, he would fill the gas tank full which is $50 worth. But, when we again went there we saw that the tank was not full. But we didn't want to talk with them any further and just wanted to get rid of them. So, we took the car and left the place. I WOULD NEVER NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALER TO ANY OF FRIENDS, NOT EVEN TO MY FOES.

Went in for a specific car. They pulled the old bate and switch. The salesman Andre told us it had been sold but a slightly more expensive model was still available. They would not negotiate a thing. We thought made this is normal trying to buy a fuel efficient car right now. The first time we came to pick up the car, on the way to the dealership we received a call from Andre that the car wouldn't be ready. We gave them until 7pm that night. We would pick it up after work to give them more time. The first thing we noticed we driving into Penn Toyota was the original car we came to look at. It was still on the last, still for sale. We asked about ans they stuck to their original story of it being sold. It was with all the cars that were still on the market with no sold sign.After doing paperwork we inspect the vehicle. It has a new huge dent/scratch in it and what looks like a coffee stain on the front seat. Andre is nasty and says that it was always there. I tell him certified pre-owned vehicles should still look like new. He tells me I'm out of luck.I get a manager, a guy by the name Bruce. He is cold but polite. Issues a we owe for the work. Says they will fix it Monday.The next day the a check engine light comes on. I speak with Lori who is as rude as Andre.Never Again!

My 2007 Avalon needed the 1 year service (14,000) miles, they sold me $400. worth of work I didn't need. I get the car home and the dash lights up like christmas Check enging VSC and more. I call they tell me they must have left it in "test Mode" I bring it back They tell me now an O2 sensor is bad and I'll have to leave the car. After much talk they get a POS econo box, it's check engine light was on too.I bring them a car that's got no problems, they break it, I have to make two more trips back, I lose use of the car for 4 days and they offer to change the oil next time for free.I may be picky but that's not customer service.

Seth Lawrence and Jimmy Miga led a team of mechanics that completely restored my 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser that had been sitting, rusting, in my driveway for 12 years. They worked for almost 41/2 months on the car, taking it apart, piece by piece, evaluating what was working, what wasn't working. They put hundreds of hours into it, much of it, I suspect, they never charged me for. They arranged for the body work, they helped me pick and fit new tires and rims. They had it detailed. Seth test-drove it for a week, and wouldn't let us have it back until it was in "like-new" condition. It's beautiful, runs great, and we love it. Thank you, Penn Toyota. Now, if I can convince my husband to let me do it, I want them to do the same to a 1982 Land Cruiser that's still in the garage.

My 2005 Toyota Corolla just made it 30,000 miles. Took my car to get service, I'm now down $933. These service people and worse than use cars sales. There was nothing wrong with my brak es,Larry said I nee but was told that I needed to replace my front brakes. Too my car to a friend,after the fact who used to work for Toyota, so that he could tell me that nothing was done to my car. Penn Toyota is a biggggggg rippppp off. If posible dont take your car to Penn Toyota for Service.

I had always brought my 1998 toyota tercel with 35,000 original miles in for servicing at Penn Toyota. I brought the vehicle in for a humming noise while driving, a coolant flush service and an oil change. Penn toyota has always done all the servicing on my vehicle as well as preventative maintenance. I left the vehicle for the day and received a call from Larry Penaro (don't let the last name fool you - he is related to the Penns.. just changed his last name - must be embarassed). I got a call alter that my vehicle needed over $2000 worth of work. I was amazed because it was under extended warranty through toyota. Then I was told that the vehicle needed new brakes and well as some BG services. These BG services are aftermarket and not recommended by Toyota. The service advisors get "spiffs" on them at $5 each- so they push this on unsuspecting customers. Meanwhile I was told that the "races and bearings" had top be replaced in the hubs. I was also told I needed new brakes which I found to be incredulous because they were replaced all around 2500 miles ago. When I confronted them about the brakes, they apologized for the error, but still maintained that the races and bearing had to be replaced. They also stated that my extended warranty would not cover the repair. When i contacted Toyota Extra Care, they stated that Penn toyota NEVER called them to report a problem or even to start a claim. I was furious. I got a second opinion, and a HONEST repair facility used a "pair of chassis ears" and determined I had 2 bent rims. The rims on this year tercel were very soft (composite material) and easily damaged. I replaced all 4 rims with steel rims and the noise was amazingly gone. When I confronted Mr. Penn Jr about this, he said. "Glad your car is fine." This is unacceptable and as the owner of this "disgraceful" dealership, more action should have been taken.I still purchase genuine toyota parts from another Toyota dealership, but have outside technicians repair my vehicle. PENN TOYOTA IS A RIP OFF AND A FRAUD. DO NOT GO THERE. THEY WILL SCAM YOU.

I have a 2003 Toyota Camry. Called the parts department in regards to some Tires. Rob from parts answered the phone. Seemed very knowledgeable. Gave me pricing information on the tires I had requested. Set up the appointment with Seth for the next day. Seth took me right in and dropped me back off at home. Received a call in regards to some more work "they" recommended. I asked what I really needed and Seth was honest, I only needed one other thing. The rest was preventative. So I passed on it. When the car was done they sent a car to pick me up. Came back, my camry was washed and ready. Seth went over the bill everthing was exactly as quoted. Alittle high but I thought was worth it.Overall a good experience. Would recommend. Just remember you can say no to "their" recommendations.Ira P.

Bought a new 1999 Sienna from Penn. Had it serviced exclusivly by Penn. The car began to systematically self-destruct at 35,000 miles. I'd bring the car in, bring it home and immediately discover problems. Oil change = Leaking Filter; Cooling system flush = low fluid,; Flex pipe replacement = missing support bolt; State Inspection = Mileage recorded way below actual mileage; Fuel injector replacement = way overcharged for parts and labor .... $200 per injector, 6 Hrs labor to replace 3 injectors when battery was offline for exactly 3 hours 17 minutes.... Bottomline... THIEVES, LIARS and CHEATS...I would rather donate the car to the American Lung Association than go back to Penn Toyata for a repair..... My first and last Toyata.. "Way to go PENN"BTW - Car has only 58,000 miles on it..

We just bought a new Prius from Joni at Penn Toyota. After looking at the reviews on this site I went in there ready to do battle, but my experience turned out to be very good.We had used Toyota.com to get quotes from 4 dealers in our area. All four called us several times, but only Joni gave us a price over the phone. They have a $500 above invoice policy over there and that was the number she gave us (we got a Consumer Reports car pricing guide and the price she gave us was actually $500 above invoice). When we came to the show room, that was still the price. I kept expecting additional extra charges to pop up, but they didn't. Just that price plus DMV and sales tax.They really came in low initially on the trade in price but we were able to negotiate to something more reasonable without too much haggling.They didn't have model of the car in stock we wanted, but were able to get it from another dealer within a week.We went back to finish the purchase, still expecting some new "special" new charge to pop up, when we took delivery, but it didn't. We did the paper work, she showed us the car and we drove away. Joni was professional and courtous through the whole process.All in all a very nice experience . We got a nice car at a fair price with very little hassle. PS: I was thinking of buying an extended warranty for the car, but I didn't get it from them. There are some Toyota dealers around the country with web sites (toyotawarrantyinfo.com for example) that sell you the extended warranty for way way less. I'm going to go get a 7 year 75K miles warranty from the the Internet for $650. The list price from Toyota financial and the one they quoted me at Penn Toyota was $1500. The deal sounded so good that I called Toyota customer service and they said it legit as long as it's a Toyota dealer you are buying it from, Internet or not, it's the same factory warranty everywhere (except Florida for some reason).

I purchased my toyota solara in late 2004. I had two salesmen because I called initially about a vehicle I saw on the internet inventory at penn and when i got there the gentleman had not yet arrived so Bruce temporarily handled me. Both Theirry (sp) and Bruce were courteous, genuine and a pleasant to deal with. I was at the dealership for 4-5hrs before I took my solara home and was offered coffee and dunkin donuts. They really made purchasing my first brand new vehicle a wonderful experience. They never pushed the vehicle on me. They gave me the facts and worked with the price.

Nasty nasty and then the manager was even nastier when I asked to speak to him about employee attitudes. Gives Toyotas, America and Japan a bad name. <br>Someone commented they insisted they pick up the car that day. I found out after asking around about Penn Toyota, my friend had the same experiance of their insistance on her picking up the car that day without her husband was away. Mananger was nasty and so she said to wait until her husband got back. Got even nastier and threaten. Wonder why they want people pick up that day.

Figures, the warning above about the dealer writing positive reviews about themselves is expected from this dealership. I brought my BMW in to have it appraised. The gentleman who used the paint gun to see if the paint on my BMW was original said that the hood and rear fender where not original. huh? He said it with a smerk. I bought the car new and it has never been painted. They are full waste at Penn.

WoW! I went to this dealer twice and the people were really rude. The first time I went no one approached me. They were busy so I figured I'd go back. The second time no one approached me again and I had to ask someone to help me. When I did they were curt and rude. I asked to see a new vehicle. They didn't have any. That was it . No one said a thing about when they'd get one in. If they could get my name and number and call me. I walked out and bought a 35,000 vehicle from another dealer. Their loss!
