Repair seemed to have taken much longer than I thought was warrranted. If service tech could have explained what the repair would have involved (extensive dismantling or difficult access) it would have aligned my expectations with what time it took. Otherwise it seemed that maybe I was just being taken care of as time permitted for a hgiher priority project.

I have taken my Explorer (under warranty) to this dealership numerous times for two recurring issues. After a year and a half, many appointments (some where they didn't even look at my car) and a lot of wasted time they haven't come close to resolving the problems and have consistently treated me in an arrogant, rude, disrespectful manner. The time they gave me a rental car they kept my car for over a week without working on it and when they finally returned my calls and I asked for the car back they spent an afternoon tearing my vehicle apart and when I picked it up my entire heating system was disconnected (original problems not fixed). It takes a minimum of 3 phone calls to schedule an appointment and after bringing your car in at the appointment time there is no guarantee they will see your vehicle the same day due to admitted overscheduling. If you have a choice the motor city location at least treats customers kindly or it may be worth the drive to Castle Rock or Denver!

My daughter and I visited this location in September 2016. I purchased a 2011 Hyundai Sonata for my daughter (her first car and my first car purchase). The purchasing process was good, but everything afterwards, so far, has been unbelievably bad. Within days of driving the car off the lot a tire pressure light came on. No big deal; although I was told that a FULL inspection was done before we took it home, and it meant another trip to the dealership to have them fix it. Just a few days after getting the tire pressure fixed, the check engine light came on. Big deal. Another trip to the dealership.They needed time to "fix it", so I had to get a rental car from them (which required me to put more money down as a deposit). A week later I was able to pick the car up. Per their service report the car had "Random misfires" All spark plugs and both coils were removed and replaced, $469.14 in parts, but the service guy Bradly Taylor told me it was an over $700 repair (maybe if you added in labor to it). Wouldn't that have been caught in the FULL inspection that was done prior to being out on the lot for sale?? Next, I had to take the car back in to have the hail damage repaired. No big deal again, you would think. My sales guy Eric Boudreaux told me "Our hail guy has you scheduled in for Wed. the 14th. Telling me it could be as late as the 23rd before completed." I can quote here because this was sent via text. I dropped the car off 9/14/16. On 9/28/16 I texted Eric asking about how much longer; which he responded "It's getting worked on as we speak." (again this was verbatim from text messages). On 10/3/16 I text Eric again asking the status, to which his response was "Our guy has a lot on his hands, the timing is part my fault. Had to jump through hoops to get paperwork to pay for the hail repair. He's working on it now, juggling a couple of other sold cars too. Should be done by the end of this week." On 10/7/16 I text again, to which the response was "Had a few scheduled before us but it is in line to be finished next." So, they had my car from 9/14/16-10/7/16 and hadn't even started on it! I called the office and spoke to a manager by the name of Fernando, after getting nowhere with Eric. Fernando said he would call me back the next day; which he never did, so I called back and spoke to Brent Hall. After speaking with Brent, the car was done the next day 10/14/16. I am currently taking the car back to the dealership today because the back right door will not open or unlock. I wouldn't recommend getting a car here to anyone! No one at this facility has taken the time to just LISTEN to me. I am always rushed off the phone or whomever I am speaking with just starts throwing excuses at me. Also, most currently, hung up on. My first car buying experience couldn't have been any worse!

I was looking for a pre-owned Mini Van. I found a few on the Phil Long website. I submitted my information and shortly received a call from our salesman Anthoney Arzate. We played phone tag for a week or so. He sent emails of their current stock and kept me informed if anything new came in. We were finally able to meet up at the used car event at Freedom Financial Center. He was with another customer when we got there so he had another salesman help us. Darryl Merritt took over and he was great. He knew he stuff about the Odyssey. We worked a great deal on the van and our trade in. We were in a time crunch and were able to just do initial finance paperwork. We were able to set an appointment to come back to the store to finish. The finance manager was great and got us a great deal and in and out quickly. This has been the best car buying experience. Thank you to everyone at Phil Long Ford of Chapel Hills. We will send everyone here.

INITIALLY IT WASN'T GOING TO BE ABLE TO BE DONE AT THE FORD QUICK CHANGE SO THEY MADE AN EXTRA EFFORT AND GOT ME IN AT ANOTHER FACILITY ACROSS THE WAY. THEY FIT ME IN RIGHT AWAY. THE BEST PART WAS IN CONVERSATION WITH THE SERVICE REP, I MENTIONED I NEEDED A BIGGER VEHICLE BUT THOUGHT I HAD TO WAIT LONGER TO TRY. HE TALKED ABOUT AN UPGRADE PROGRAM AND NEXT THING I KNOW I WAS TRYING TO BUY A NEW VEHICLE. ALTHOUGH WE WEREN'T ABLE TO COMPLETE THE DEAL, THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING. I have just purchased by second car with Phil Long Ford, and both experiences were truly perfect. I had bought a 2011 Flex. Recently we had hail in Colorado Springs so the dealership was having a real sale - not just in words but in actions. Terry Jones, the salesman who worked with me, never pushed, pressured or manipulated me into buying a car. Some dealerships view a woman alone visiting a car lot as nothing more than a than a a paycheck. Phi Long as always treated me with respect. I have never felt as if anyone there were in intimidating me.I have spent 5 years having my car serviced. I am as impressed with Phil Long's service department as I am their sales department. For a new Ford, I'll never go anywhere else.

My Service Rep Patrick really went out of his way to understand the issues I was having with my vehicle and made sure that the problem was solved before he released the vehicle. This was a pleasant change from past years when my vehicle would be returned without the problem fixed and the service guy telling me "Well it didn't trigger a code so there's nothing we can do..." Patrick also did everything possible to find discounts for me and minimize the repair hours spent repairing my vehicle. While the final bill was very expensive, it came in substantially below the estimate.

I came to Phil Long Ford of Chapel Hills Last I believe on 5/23/2016 and was interested in test driving vehicle only. Little did I know that I would walk out of that dealership with a 2016 ford fusion with everything I wanted and more. I was concerned about turning my 2013 ford fusion in and how much I would owe because on the little wear and tear on my vehicle. Not only didn't I walk away with not owing a dime on my 9 payment but I didn't owe wear and tear. My sales guy was new to Phil Long Ford and not one time was I concerned about the treatment I received. My sales guy was professional courteous and listened to want I wanted. I also felt like I was part of the family over there. And because it was so late when the car was delivered, while I was at work one of the sales guy literally came by my work, picked up my vehicle, detailed my vehicle and brought it back to me and I say you can not get better than that!!Thank you !

The customer service was excellent which includes Garin Murrdock in finance! The only negative I can say is the closing process was too long which ended up lasting two hours. When I bought my wife's car last year at Infinity, it took only 45 minutes.

Nice waiting area. They had my vehicle for 36 hours, it was a wait but it is understandable given the Bizzare nature of my issue. The long short of it is that they took a while but it was neccisary for them to get it right and fixed the first time. So far so good.Definately feel like nothing was unnessicary. I've purchased three new vehicles from Phil Long in the past five years and all the experiences have been great. Routine service work has always been great using the fast lane. I would highly recommend this dealership for a new car purchase and on-going service. Beats the heck out of sitting in a small cramped, dirty customer service area at a local lube shop drinking coffee from a ten year old Mr. Coffee.....

I made an appointment for service with Patrick Carter at Phil Long Ford after work the day before I was to take my family on a 2000 mile road trip. I was late because I got out of work late and got lost on the way to the dealership. I arrived at the dealership past the time they would normally start a new job right before closing time. Patrick truly went above and beyond to fit me in, working with the technicians to change my oil and rotate my tires reliably in a timely manner. The Quicklane service at the new location over by the Hundai dealer is amazing! They are really fast and you won't experience any of the ridiculously long waits that you do at the regular Chapel Hills Phil Long Dealer locations. We took our Ford Edge to get repaired. We paid $350 to repair the A/C. When we got the car back the A/C was still broken. When we called them to ask about it they told us, "Oh we repaired your audio." WHAT!?! That was never broken. We've called them 15 times and when they do answer they tell us, "Our service manager is looking into it, we'll call you back." Never get called back...

Recently moved the wife to the area but work takes me away. We explained our unique situation to our sales associate George and the Sales Director Zack who stepped in for some reason, as well as the Finance Rep Garin. They were good in providing competitive vehicles and even manufacturers we were considering for a side by side comparison. That helped us decide on the Edge. Although not a special order, for what we wanted they decided to intercept one heading to another dealership. We signed the purchase order and waited...and waited. Turns out it went to the other dealer anyway and they decided to just drive it the 150 miles to us over a week later. By this time I had to leave and Garin in Finance said he couldn't do anything until the vehicle got there. The finance department was incredibly hard to get ahold of. He finally complete the paperwork and sent them to me to sign. He failed to put my wife's name on the documents which is a much bigger deal when it needs to be registered. Then the simple accessories that we said we wanted when building one on line still had to be installed. The installation costs were more than just building a special order! Then the remote starter module had a Software issue so they said they couldn't install it. But well over a month later they still hadn't called to tell us anything until WE called. Chris in Service said he would get the part in and get it taken care of. Again we waited and no one called to say it was in because Chris was out. Finally over 2 months later our now overly priced Edge is done with the painful purchasing experience. It did not have to be this hard if they really cared about COMPLETING the sale instead of just making one.

Found out late Saturday morning that the sway-bar bolt on the left side of our Chevy Trailblazer had sheared off. I quickly call Phil Long at Chapel Hills as they had service the Trailblazer before...imagine that a Chevy being service by Ford...the service department was able to get me in Saturday afternoon around 2PM as they had a cancellation...I arrived early and they took the car and had repairs completed within 2 hours replacing both sway-bar bolts. The service was excellent and the price was reasonable and I was thankful that they could accommodate me on such short note. Thanks Phil Long Ford!

I recently moved to Colorado Springs and waited till I arrived to trade in my vehicle for a new Ford Edge. I had the pleasure to work with Mike Fowler (Sales Associate) and James Jones (F&I Manager). Because my vehicle was a special order there was a month and a half between order and receipt. There ended up being a few things missing from the vehicle when delivered this is why I choose four out of five stars and this is also why I HIGHLY recommend that you as a customer request copies of ANY THING you sign off on and any orders placed for specific packages. With this said, both these gentleman mentioned above, the GM, another gentleman (I cannot remember his name for the life of me) and the two finance gentlemen went way above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied and happy customer! The items missing were easy fixes and all of us worked out a resolution both parties were happy with! All an all I would highly recommend Chapel Hills Ford if you're in the marked for a new Ford, as I said, just be sure to leave with everything in writing so as to avoid what I had to go through.

made an appt for quick service and some warranty repairs. had to come back a second time for warranty service and deflector installed. Now have to come back a 3rd time for my third brake light to be replaced even though I had told them about the problems before I came to the first appt. took 3 hours on the second appt to tightened fender rods and install bug shield and nothing was resolved on the light. Shane is great to work with and I love my F150!

Short Version: Phil Long Ford at Chapel Hills delivered great service to me. My salesman was Justin Reese and I purchased a brand new Ford Escape from them. My previous vehicle loan was taken care of by Ford and they had a bunch of rebates that helped lower the price of the Escape. Would HIGHLY recommened and WILL do business with again. I visited Phil Long Ford at Chapel Hills on a Saturday. I had submitted information about the car I was in the night before and a Justin Reese contacted me shortly after to assist me. Justin set up a time for me to come in and take a look at some cars I was interested in. When I arrived Justin was very pleasant to deal with. I test drove a few Focus', a Fusion and an Escape. Not once during any part of the test drives did Justin ever make me feel pressured about whether or not I would buy a car today. Justin answered all of my questions about the vehicles exceptionally well. I originally came in only looking to test drive a few vehicles to see about possibly replacing my Impala. I had already been to a few dealerships before I came to Ford and wasn't expecting to buy that day. I enjoyed the Ford Escape so much that I ended up going into the office with Justin and ran through the numbers. Justin was able to give me plenty of rebates that kept the payments within the range I had originally quoted him. He also was able to make sure my Impala's loan was completely taken care of so I wouldn't have any rollover of negative equity. Overall, great experience, great individual to deal with, and so far I love the Escape!

The service representative (Shane) was NOT very customer friendly. The information I relayed to him about the repair I sought for a cabin air leak that was causing a high pitched whistle in the cabin and the information was not relayed to the repair technician (Mariana) properly. The result was the repair was NOT made as requested because the technician did not have all the information I provided to the service rep. When I returned to get the vehicle the whistle was still present. At that time the service rep got the technician to come over to the vehicle and I directed him to where the leak was. He heard it right away and admitted he missed it the first time. I had to leave the vehicle for repair again and this time it was immediately fixed. The technician was great! I am very satisfied with the final outcome. It is a shame the service rep did not relay all the information I was trying to give him -- I got the impression he did not respect me or value the information I was providing. The repair technician was extremely polite, patient, and did a great job fixing the problem - Kudos to him!. Perhaps it was just a bad day for the service rep but he needs to work on people skills - some of us customers have experience in automotive repairs but I feel I was just dismissed.

I bought a 2013 certified ford escape, this vehicle is been at the Phil Long Service Shop several times and technicians can NOT find what's wrong with the vehicle, there is a loud noise by the driver side, every time we drive the vehicle we can feel it, I am not a professional mechanic, but I know this is bad, again I still can't believe Phil Long technicians can't find the problem, I will never go back to Phil Long to buy a vehicle ever again.

After taking my truck in for diagnosis, Ford determined both turbos were bad in my truck. The cost for repairs, $5,000.00. However, some of the language used In the diagnosis made something tell me to get a second opinion. I then took it to a reputable diesel mechanic here in town. They determined it was just a gasket between the turbos was bad. The repair Bill was $351.00. Ever since, the truck has never ran better. Phil Long Ford just about cost me thousands of dollars for unnecessary repairs. If you own a diesel truck, go somewhere else.

I have had my Mustang GT Shelby Cobra serviced twice at Phil Long Ford. The also had to repair a part that I thought was repaired at another shop, but it wasn't done correctly. Phil Long Ford ordered quality Ford parts to do the repair. This is the only service department I will take my car too! They are the best. They also provide excellent customer service!

I'd like to take a moment to give my appreciation to Chris Taylor and Ryan (mechanic) for their excellent and professional service. I had problems with the tire enflation/ deflation computer on my 13 Ford Focus It kept showing that I had a low tire, when in fact I had a large nail in the rear sidewall of my tire.Ryan showed me the nail, course, I had to purchase a new tire. But without his expertise, I wouldn't have had any idea their was a nail causing the problem. Kudos to Chris too! For selling me the road hazard tire warranty that I should have had in the first place.When another dealer sold me the car and warranty. Thanks again, Paul Schweitzer

Bought a 2013 Expedition, Ford ran the car through there inspection( what ever they Inspected?) They checked off on the Air conditioning that did not work. The Compressor was froze up. When I told them about it 2 days after I bought the car. The wanted to charge it to my warranty. And charge me the deductible of $100.00. The Service Advisor Dan Phillips was a pleasure to work with. He talked to the service manager and had it fixed for free. They did the right thing there by fixing it for free. It took the car in the shop 3 times to get it fixed. I called the Service Manager and left him a message and never got a return call back from him. What Customer Service. Buy a car from Phil Long Ford. Never again.

I came in on a Tuesday for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told that it would take an hour and a half if I didn't have an appointment. I didn't want to wait that long, so I came into the office while a service tech set me up for an appointment on the next day, Wednesday at 3:10pm. I came in on Wednesday and sat outside in line for a while waiting my turn. I was asked twice what my last name was by two different techs. Someone came again, a few minutes later after that asking for my last name again along with the mileage, etc. Apparently, it was not on their computer that I had an appointment. I was told by this tech that it doesn't matter whether I make an appointment or not, it would be the same amount of time. I finally went into the office where I was promised that my car would be out within an hour after already waiting 20-30 minutes to get to that point. He said that he would give me priority! After waiting the hour of the car being in the shop, I went to speak to the service tech to find out where my car was. He said that it wasn't quite done yet. I finally left there an hour and 45 minutes later. I do care about honesty.

Had truck serviced, was quick and professional. Very pleased. At that time, pointed out paint separating on the grill to the service tech. He took pictures, sent them off to Ford and they warranted and replaced the grill for me. After the grill arrived, set an appointment and work was done quickly and professionally. Service for "water in Fuel" taken care of promptly. Jeff very courteous and helpful. Repair done in a timely manner. Jeff also picked up where previous Service Rep (Dan) had dropped the ball. Last visit included programing both fobs, only one had been programmed. Therefore Jeff did get both fobs taken care of. Our only issue is: when vehicle was delivered to us we were told that it had been left running because "batteries are low" and should be charging. We have had battery issues since purchasing the F250 Diesel in September 2013. We have addressed the issue with the Service Manager, Chris Todd and have not reached a satisfactory resolve.

I am writing this review to recommend Dan Phillips who has been my service writer for the Quick Lane Center for Phil Long At Auto Mall Loop in Colorado Springs. Dan not only is intent on customer service but is absolutely knowledgeable about car problems, especially when I could only tell him about noises I heard on one visit (a broken motor mount) and then on a subsequent visit for another totally unrelated problem. My car is a 2004 Saturn Vue (which I bought new at Saturn then) and has 90,000 miles, so of course, there will probably be problems starting at this point. Dan is able to convey information to the mechanic who will work on the problem and I feel that is an absolutely integral part in the repair process. Everyone I encountered at this facility were pleasant and went the "extra mile" to be sure I was satisfied with their work.

Do not try to speak with gsm because you will be directed to a Sammie Henie who will only lie to u and say that is her tittle which it is not . At first, my experience was great! The sales staff was very friendly and was incredibly helpful. However, several days later when I came back to buy my car my experience was completely different. The whole buying process became a fiasco. The price (or total amount) changed multiple times and generally the whole process became a headache. I will however, say that the staff was still very friendly. I greatly appreciate Justin Reese's time and service. He was very friendly and is generally a great guy.
